    Very run down. The original room was not numbered and the key didn’t work . The clerk gave another room and when we arrived it smelled like pet urine . I returned and he gave me the third room which we stayed. The smoke detectors was hanging from the wires . The Gfic plug by the sink did not work and the safety door latch was broken. I did report these items to the clerk as I returned the door key

    The building was not what was pictured in the website. The was dirty and the whole building smelled like bug spray. Advertised swimming pool but pool hasn’t been in service for years. Sink was broken but still worked. Breakfast was brown bananas mushy oranges and tiny frozen sausage sandwiches.

    There was no water available without paying for it. The breakfast was okay but skimpy. The TV only worked sometimes. The pool was closed. The shade did not work in the room I stayed in but the person from the desk was able to make it work. It was the only place I could stay find to stay in the area and so therefore I was happy to be there.

    The room had not been vacuumed and we were not sure that the sheets were clean either. Very wrinkled when the comforter was turned back to get in bed. AC didn't cool the room. Breakfast available, but did not eat.

    This was the worst place we.have ever stayed. The bottom of our feet were filthy from the dirt on the floor. No ice machine. Electrical plugs in the lamps were nonfunctional. The overall condition of the facility is dirty and worn out. We were scheduled to stay two nights, but left after the first night. We should have read the reviews closely because many others had the same experience we did.

    The front desk gentleman was great and understandable to the situation. I had to change rooms because the bed sheets were visibly dirty and stained, as if they hadn’t been washed. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t any better, bed sheets issues again—the bathrooms in both rooms were unclean, with urine on the toilet seat and floor. That's why you always bring Lysol disinfectant wipes. Even the new room had same issues with sheets. So i asked for new sheets and just put over the bed. Overall, cleanliness was unacceptable and not up to basic standards. I would strongly recommend spending a bit more and staying next door at the Holiday Inn instead.

    The check-in was good The staff were very cordial no problems there. The room was smaller than I expected. Definitely not as depicted in the pictures that are in the ad. That being said it’s OK. The room definitely needed more cleaning. The floor was sticky and both me and my granddaughter felt like our feet were in something we didn’t wanna walk in basically everything was OK except that we felt like the room just wasn’t clean. There was an odor of un cleanliness that made us feel very uncomfortable however, we did not allow ourselves to find another room and another hotel at that time, but I will not ever rent a room in that super eight in Ringgold Georgia again.

    This is my second review of this stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Ringgold/Chattanoga Area. The evening desk attendant was showed the blood (FRESH?), stains that appeared to be semen, and cigarette burns on the bed bottom sheet. Any follow-up has not happened. The evening desk girl stated I should get a discount/refund after she brought this issue to management and would record a note in the database. The next morning during check-out, the day girl stated she could not find any evidence of the prior night's incident, but she would talk to the evening desk attendant and get back to me. No reply as of this writing ----7 days passed.

    My stay at the “bates motel” super 8 was the worst night of my life. Was afraid to turn off the lights but stepped on a large bug anyway. The furniture is typical of what you find at the curb on trash day. Bedspread should have been trashed 30 years ago. Somewhat clean but a dump never less. Wouldn’t bring any suitcases in. Noise outside was unbearable all night long. Even a train with horn in the middle of the night. My advice is sleep in your car at a rest stop. Way better.

    Some of the staff were decent, but others acted like helping guests was a burden. Several times I was completely ignored while they scrolled on their phones. The worst moment was when I walked into the lobby with an armful of towels due to no room service and, without saying a word, was snapped at with, “You have to get those from housekeeping in the morning.” No greeting, no offer to help—just pure attitude. The level of rudeness and laziness was unacceptable

    If you’re looking for quiet, this is not the place. The hotel is on a busy intersection and right next to a fire/police/ambulance station—sirens blared multiple times a day. Add in traffic and loud cars, and it was impossible to get restful sleep. Definitely not a relaxing stay

    Worst hotel experience in 25 years of travel. Room service was unreliable—promised but rarely delivered. Different shifts gave conflicting answers, and when they finally showed up, all they did was drop towels and take out trash—no soap, toilet paper, or cleaning.     Terrible. They told my wife that her reservation of two standard beds had been booked earlier that day ( yet they showed it available on their website after telling her it wasn't). Therefore she and our son ( who is 11) had to share a single king-size bed room they offered her. She was exhausted the next day.

    Very dirty & outdated. Booked a non smoking room online and our room smelled horribly like smoke and there was an ash tray on the table. I woke up with my chest hurting so bad from breathing in the smoke and more than likely mold from the air conditioner. I DO NOT recommend this hotel. Pay a little extra and find somewhere else.

    First, when we checked in we were not provided with a key card for the room. Front clerk had to open door because ran ourlt of keys. Once in the room there was a bug in the bed. The shower handle did not work. Had to call for service because could not shut off the water. Room smelled of smoke and humidity.

    There were several men drinking all night outside their rooms and cigarette butts were everywhere outside our room when we left. Pool was closed. Had been for a while. Weeds growing up around it. Expected more than what we got for what we paid for the room. I would keep driving next time. Girl at checkout seemed more concerned about talking to a friend on her phone than dealing with our concerns at checkout. She was talking on the phone the entire time we were trying to find something edible for breakfast. Bagels( no bread), cereal in rotating bins, but milk jig was literally sitting on counter( not iced). I did not eat anything. My husband and son had yogurt.

    Went to the room an had a foul odor. Got the ac turned and the smell got better. It was a renovated smoker room so guess that was it. The floor was dirty and sticky. But shower was nice. Parking was very tight. All an all we would probably stay again. Cigarette burns on the sink and counter.

    I walked into our room and it was at least 80 degrees. It was about 40 degrees out so we opened the door and turned the A/C on high. Two hours later it was still smokin hot in the room, and we noticed the floors were actually hot. Now I may not always be the brightest bulb on the tree, but pretty sure super 8 motels don’t have in-floor heat! The floor were so hot I could feel it through my shoes! I got a bit nervous thinking if it’s this hot in our room, what could it be like in the room below us? Is the whole place gonna blow up in the middle of the night? I went downstairs to the room right below us and found an extension cord going into it from the room next door. Plastic was all around the doorframe, like they closed the door on a bunch of garbage bags. As I stood there looking at this, it hit me. They are superheating the room to get rid of bedbugs! Great. I confirmed this with the night person at the front desk, after 3 or 4 questions she finally admitted they had a bed bug problem in the room below me and were trying to get rid of them. We went back and forth, me telling her the room has been 80 degrees for the past four hours with the air cranked, theres no way we’re going to sleep and her telling me there’s nothing she can do. No offer to give me my money back. Nothing.

    Prepaid thru Expedia, yet upon check-in the mgr (black man) tried to extort payment from me saying the card used for payment was declined, yet I had both the Expedia and Amex receipts. He kept telling me I needed to book directly with the hotel to avoid this issue. Total BS lie and borderline scam artist. The electronic door lock on the room (108) was not working, and only way to enter was to get mgr to let us in with his manual key. Bed sheets were filthy and many nastt stains. Room reaked of cigarette smoke. We understand times are tough but this was disgusting; never again will I stay there.

    Bathroom poorly maintained. Tub had a hole in it couldn’t use it. Shower didn’t work. Handicapped accessible bathroom has a toilet so low a person could not get up unassisted. Continental breakfast a joke even by continental breakfast standards.

    This was the worst stay ever! I was given 2 smoking rooms when I requested 2 non-smoking rooms because I have 2 families with ashmatic children! The lady working was horrible at her job and didn't care to accommodate anything and there was hair in the tub sheets were dirty and they have bed bugs! Then the lady refused to approve a refund even though we were only checked into the hotel 3 hours before we found a bed bug! I even took the bed bug down to her as proof!

    I booked a room at the Villa hotel and ended with this room st the Super 8. Confused as to why. no explanation given. The hotel had no coffee no vending machine for drinks. The snack machine was almost empty. It was not very enjoyable.

    It wasnt the same as the pictures projected, as a matter of fact it was a very old motel. The shower didnt work in the first room , then the tv quit the next morning. The lady did give us a better room for our second day. We paid 89.95 plus tax for a 40.00 room.I will not ever use expedia again, nor would i stay at this motel again.

    The desk clerk didn't attempt to make a new card. She went to the room, opened the door with a pass key. It was then I was reluctantly informed that I would have to get the staff to open the door every time I needed to enter the room for the next 7 days. I refused the room and went to another hotel.

    It was so bad we had to leave and did not even stay there. Still trying to get my money back. After checking in, I was told the door was faulty The lock on the door did not work and we would need a staff member to let us in the room Every time. No other options were given. There was no place to park in the parking lot, it was totally full. It appeared that people were smoking drugs on the 2nd floor walkway. The picture we saw on Hotels.com said it was a hotel and looked that way. It was a motel and not advertised this way. Not sure I will ever use hotels.com again. Feels like a bait and switch. I was also charged much more thru hotels.com than I would have paid directly to the hotel. I need a refund!

    The floor was so dirty in room our socks were always black. The shower barelt worked. My key wouldn't work. I had to have front desk open my door each time i wanted in.

    The pictures show a remodeled hotel with no carpet. The pictures are misleading. If rooms are remodeled than not all the rooms are done and they gave me a crappy room. Old nasty carpet, walls need paint... it was clean but I can’t believe it was $100 a night for the condition of the property. It should be no more than $50-60. It’s an overpriced cheap old motel room.

    We waited ten minutes at the window before an attendant came to greet us and check us in. She kept our credit card for about 10 minutes while she was on the phone with what appeared to be a personal call. The first room given was an occupied room and she actually acted like she did not believe us as she kept saying i don’t show anyone in that room. Second room given knocked us down with the strong smell of smoke before we even walked through the door. Third room had plumbing problems; the toilet was stopped up and would not flush completely and almost overflowed. Fourth room, we settled.
