Parking was super easy & simple. Air conditioning was good after having it on for a while it had a bit of a burning smell, it’s SoCal so it was super hot we needed to keep it on for a while. There was no comforter just sheets and one blanket. We asked for another and the front desk said they didn’t have any, but that they would wash some and deliver us one. That never happened. The housekeeper was super nice and friendly, when we saw her the next day and asked her if we could have another blanket she went and got us one. Super thankful for her. Microwave did not heat up really well, and the mini fridge was super wobbly. Some of the towels provided also had stains.

Everything was good until check out. I gave them a 50.00 deposit, and the same guy that checked me in checked me out, he said I didn't give a deposit, I think the guy needs more sleep and a little help he's the only employee I saw the whole stay which was 5 days..

The Simply Home Suits clerk looked & may be from India, Pakistan, etc, late 30s, 160 lb, 5'8", wearing shorts and claimed to be manager. Claimed and wrote his name as Dave, not original. Did he tried to SCAM, STEAL, FRAUD, DISCRIMINATE, HATE, against me, based on my differences? This is America, my country, and as 2 of his helpers arrived, I told them

Noisy: AC and fridge, dirty: chair, AC vent and ironing board, homeless person got between me and my room door asking for a lighter, didn't take no for an answer.

Air Conditioner smelled of Urine. Bed had a regular sheet and a decorative sheet but no comforter. Sink backed up and flooded at 5 AM. I would never consider staying here again.

Will never do this hotel again! I have been here three time now and it keeps getting worse and worse. The hotel was filthy. Everything is falling apart and the door didn’t seem secure. The fridge was not working.

But the biggest problem is the bed bugs I found in my pillow when I woke up in the morning. As soon as I woke up, I left the room without washing it. I never want to go there again. Luckily, it's been two weeks and I don't think the bugs have made it to our luggage. (If it had, I would have had to consider legal action).

Hotel rooms are dated, but staff are excellent.

The cleanliness is what anybody would expect from a motel where the owner doesn't care about the up keep of the property. It looks run down from the exterior of the motel and random folks are hanging out like kids in a park. The manager on shift was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Does not care about the safety or well-being of concern customers like myself.

We didn’t end up staying the night. The sheets were disgusting. The room smelled like must and cigarettes. There was so many sketchy people in the parking lot I felt so unsafe checking in which is why we got ready and left.

The room smelled like cigarettes. I specifically asked for a nonsmoking room and the receptionist who gave me the room said its a non smoking room but when i went in, it smelled horrible.

I stay in hotels, at all budget levels, quite frequently. This hotel was by far the worst I have experiences. The cleanliness and smell of the room was almost unbearable: smoke, musty air conditioner, and dirty bathroom. Front lobby was a dirty little room with a bullet-proof glass shield across the reception desk.

the photo's prior to booking did not match this was supposed to be a small get away the room had small nats the door did not have a top lock the owner came to put it once we mentioned it burn holes on bed cover no blankets towels were stained blow dryer didnt work. there was a man outside the whole time wondering around property wasnt an employee.

The property was not clean. The bathroom itself was terrible. Sink was handles were crusted, fire alarm was falling off. The tub was dirty, the toilet was stained. Terrible place to stay. The area was a littke sketchy.

The bathroom doors do not shut . The AC is full of dust . The bedding is basically 2 sheets . The shower curtain is old and dirty . It definitely needs some handy work done .

Key didn’t work so I had to go back to get it fixed. Had 1 bath towel per person. Towel rack in shower was loose, lots of screw holes patches in the wall. Was charged $50 for incidental deposit. At checkout, I had to request for my deposit refund. Quiet neighborhood, conveniently located to many restaurants and stores nearby.

Person at the office has no personality. Just a quick check in and out. Very basic but nicer then a Motel 6. Furnishings looks a bit outdated but all I cared about is a bed to use and it was fine. Shower is OK, not great and towels are very thin. Swivel lock to secure the door was missing and for some reason the heater turned off during the night. Had to raise it to 80 at 5AM to get it to turn on. It had been at 72 and when I woke up the room definitely wasn't 72. Their looked like a couple of homeless people staying there or hanging around. One asked the front desk for change, probably to use a washing machine if they have one since he was asking for a few dollars worth of quarters. They didn't bother anyone nor was it noisy from anyone. The parking lot was fairly empty, so a Wednesday night, they were pretty empty. It is a 3 story older hotel so I have no idea where suites would be or how they'd be. I doubt they would be what I would expect in a suite. I think $100.00 a night is a bit much for this place but reading the reviews for lower priced hotels in the area, this had better reviews and maybe was in a better area. The clothes rack had no hangers and was pulling out of the wall. I hung a few items on it and was wondering if it would fall. The room has a microwave and refrigerator. Only used the refrigerator which was fine. No coffee maker.

She got upset because she didn’t understand what I was asking…when she finally called the manger to come help….she told me to “be quiet” before he came up front…and while he was helping me , she STILL kept talking crap….the manger had to tell her to stop TWICE!!!

No tv remote. Walls were drawn on. Broken outlet, Showerhead is rusted, bathroom door was drawn on, there was a red dye on the bottom of the shower curtain, The lady that checked me in was pretty rude, walls were super Thin and could hear every little thing.

Not the most friendliest place to stay. They charged us $25 for early check in. They required a $25 deposit when checking in. Room was just basic. Refrigerator leaked water on the floor. Shower felt like a monsoon. Towels felt like sand paper. Faucet didn't work properly. Floors were dirty. Will never stay there again.

The owners are straight up Nickle and dime you, try to take your deposit for the slightest reason. Then I get my window busted and suitcase stolen, and they act like i was the one who did it. no compassion no love or sympathy. no effort to help and dragged their feet to review video. which i never did see. i recommend that you sleep in your car before having to experience their toxic attitude. Dont run a motel if you dont like people....

The pictures on the website were deceiving, the room could sure use an upgrade. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows should be replaced with new ones. It was clean but the warn look of the room made it feel unsanitary. I don't think it was worth 124.00 per night.

The one word to describe this “Inn” would be outdated. There was chipped paint on the walls, the towels were close to threadbare in some places, and the microwave was analog with separate dials for heat and time. Staff was courteous and responsive when we accidentally locked the key card in our room and when we requested more pillows, but overall, the value did not match the price.

We were in town for a funeral. One of the bathroom lights were out so it made it difficult doing makeup and getting ready. The shower had hair stuck on the walls. Kinda gross. But overall for what it was, not bad.

They were accommodating with changing my room to downstairs but the lady who checked me in was not friendly at all. She was rude, she ignored me when I spoke to her and when she finally did answer my after the 3rd time I asked she spoke to me as if I was the one rude to her. Then i was awaken twice by a car blasting music in the parking lot. The mat to use when you step out of the shower was dirty, it had black smudges on it. I will not be staying there again. Worst experience Ive had.

When my girlfriend and I 1st checked in the latesthe lady behind the counter looked at me like I didn't belong there. I felt like I was discriminated against because how she looked at me after I gave her my ID. The beds are really uncomfortable we both hurt our backs and Necks, the connection sucks. The only good thing about that place is the housekeeping because she was really nice and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody honestly because the service was really disrespectful When We check out Friday morning And she gave me my money back she still looked at me with a side eye for about 5 to 10 minutes till I left the office. I give this hotel 0 stars but I give the housekeeper 5 stars

Good enough to stay one night while on the road and need to take a break.

If your looking for a basic room for showering and resting this will meet your needs. Zero amenities ( not even TV) but I was okay with that. I would advise the hotel to purchase new towels and washcloths for rooms but other than that a good option for bargain hunters. Also, many restaurants options within walking distance.

Staff was rude and unprofessional. Room was disgusting and sheets and towels looked like they hadn’t been washed. Was accused of lying about bedbugs and was told “I was making excuses” and that they have never had bed bugs. Save your time and stay anywhere else but here.

This was one of my most favorite stays ever I'm glad I came to this hotel everything's was just perfect.

It was a basic 3-story neighborhood motel, with elevator. The room had a microwave, small refrigerator, new laminate flooring, and the bathroom was remodeled with a new porcelain tub and tile walls. With the carpet removed the room echoed a bit. The king bed was firm, and sheets clean,but I'm glad I brought a blanket as some reviews mentioned. ( I drove my car). New dual pane windows, but the Halloween party next door could still be heard until 1:00 am. All in all, it was a OK to good experience.

The ice machine was coin operated, not free. Weird food smells in and around the lobby, and a grubby appearance to the exterior.

We arrived very late for our check-in. Lots of sketchy people in the parking lot. We didn't feel safe. Our room was on the 3rd floor. We were able to see our car and noticed lots of individuals driving by and at one point looked like someone was going to break into our car. Lots of suspicious activity going on. Most definitely it was drug related. We almost decided to just leave immediately and find another place but it was super late and literally we only had a few hours before our appointment in the morning. We did call the police to come and do a check of the parking lot area. They did and we felt a little better. We slept a few hours and got out asap. Room was super basic. No blankets, just a very thin cover over the sheets. Not very clean. The reason we booked it was due to the close proximity to our doctors' office and we were not familiar with the area. Needless to say we don't reccomend this place or this area.

Wonderful people very nice

It was great. I got into town and I just wanted to catch some sleep. I cranked on that AC and fell right to sleep! I got a well deserved good nights rest. My king size bed was so comfortable! I thought maybe I woke up on a cloud the next day. Awesome place to stay!

The hotel was not safe. It houses like homeless people. When I walked in there was an homeless person right at my door. It was scary.

The hotel was a bit run down. Towels were dingy and worn out. Sheets had holes in them. No coffee maker, no stopper for the tub so couldn’t take a bath. TV was not HD and some analog channels had static. Tried all the inputs. I know you can’t control your clientele but some of the others staying at the hotel were questionable. I probably won’t be back but it was close to shops and restaurants.

The room was unbelievably dirty, there was stains on my pillow, stains on my bed and hair in the sheets. Absolutely disgusting. Also the hotel is in bad area a lot of homeless camps around the property. Do not stay here! I am now fighting with Expedia to get my money back for this room. We checked out immediately after checking in.

The staff were friendly and accommodated a change in reservation when I needed to extend my stay. The room was sanitized daily. My room was updated with modern furnishings. There was a "mix" of types of folks staying there, but never any issues. It is Riverside, so all types stay in these places. I never worried for safety. It is close to shopping and good eats. There is a burger/taco place very close and walking distance left out of the parking lot that has some good eats. The Chinese restaurant adjacent to the parking lot also has good food. It's off the 91 and I would come back if I ever had a need!

The first room they gave us had a strong cleaning chemical smell - repulsive! Fortunately, they found a second room that had much less smell. Otherwise, the room was clean and adequate. . . By now, Covid is just an excuse not to offer coffee or simple breakfast items! It says so on the website - so do what you say!

If you are not going to be there all day is it okay. There was no breakfast - odd for today's standards; very few channels on television; and the chair was low and very uncomfortable to sit in.

This was our 3rd year in a row to stay at this hotel. Very close to mall and eating places. Down the street from CBU ( cal Baptist University) where our daughter goes. Staff are always friendly and welcoming 😊and very clean.

I liked the property location wise bc it was close by to a lot of stores. The hotel could be more clean, when I arrived there was socks on the floor and the shower tub was dirty.

The check in went well, the manager was polite and helpful. When my family was ready to go to sleep for the night at 9:30 the guests across the way were very noisy. They were arguing and their voices were echoing. Come to find out they live and work on the premises.

We were told we had a non smoking room but the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and I felt I was smoking a cigarette just being in there. There was cigarette holes burned in to the bedding and burned melted area in the room and the pillows were flat. The drawers were sprinkled with tobacco. Staff was nice and we were not offered a new room or a discount.

t had a real sleazy feel. The counter was behind glass (as if it was an extremely dangerous area. One had to pay to use the ice machine. There was absolutely no decoration. It was as if they had started remodeling and then just quit. It was not as nice as a Motel 6.

Plenty of food choices just around this hotel. There’s a mall few blocks away. The hotel room is clean, towels are clean & not too rough. Bed is good with plenty of pillows. The only downside I noticed is when upstairs guest turns on the shower & hearing it loud.
