Thunderbird Lodge in Riverside

Mattress was out of a horror movie, it had yellow, black,red,brown etc. stains. A lot of hair debris on the sheets and bathroom. It had an odd smell. We had to relocate to a less filthy room, worse hotel experience I ever had.

Room was not what I paid for . The tv remote was not even the correct remote. Blood stains on shower curtain. Also the restroom door was broke and did not shut.

Went to the desk met the woman working who was fabulous. She suggested I go take a look at the room and then make a decision. So I did... Room was fantastic, clean and comfortable. I decided to stay- and I would return if in that area again. Tremendous value, comfortable- not a glamorous property but well maintained. I recommend

The staff was rude. There was poop on the toilet. There were holes on the bed. We took off the sheets. There were burn marks on the mattress. it smelt like cigarettes and water next to the toilet we ended up leaving after 7 minutes of torture and frankly I am pissed about the no refund even though I got a protection plan keep my money though it’s probably infested with bedbugs. I don’t want it back.

It was easy to check in. I just wish the front desk associate that checked me in didn’t announce what room I was in out loud. As a solo female traveler that is bad form on the the staff end! It seemed like the linens were clean. It was a little run down and I saw a bug on the wall yet for the price it wasn’t bad! I like that they have a deadbolt lock inside your room.

I do not recommend this place. I saw it online and thought it looked like a very beautiful spot—ideal for resting—but that was not the case. The person staying next to my room played music all night long. I went to the front desk and told them what was happening, but they never did anything about it. I couldn't sleep because the guy didn't finally fall asleep until 5:30 a.m.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the owners were some of the nicest most accommodating people ever. We came on motorcycles from Arizona and greatly appreciated how their parking is private from the street and we could see our bikes from the room. We will definitely come back again. Our room was beautiful with the wonderful spa tub in it to enjoy. Highly recommend! Nothing needed to be changed it was amazing overall

A/C broken. Did not turn on. Electrical outlets some of them broken.

We did have some problems with the room. The staff took kara of the problems quickly and efficiently.

Bed sucked, toilet was broke and leaking. Bathroom door didn't shut all the way, Housekeeping are rude and knocked on door early in the morning. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything.

It was quiet, I felt safe and there were no bugs. I did have a couple small issues but they were immediately taken care of. The place is older and a little rough around the edges but none of that bothers me as long as it's quiet, safe and bug free!

Cockroaches. Hole in the wall by headboard. Mold in the shower. Holes in the comforter. Filthy mattress. Room wasn’t cleaned beforehand- trash all under the bed. Broken coffee maker. No rotating plate in microwave. Some lights didn’t work. Broken hair dryer. Plug socket coming out of wall.

Staff was unable to provide two room keys that worked. Then the only working key stopped working and another working one could not be produced. The front desk is often unstaffed so it is necessary to walk around the property to find someone who can help. When the toilet got stopped up, I was provided with a plunger stored in a plastic bag fouled with human waste.

It was nothing like the pictures, stained sheets or just plain dirty. Broken jetted tub handles. Didn't even stay the first night. Put a claim in to get my money back. Would not recommend.

Typically, my stays here encounter lots of extra creepy crawling guests if you get my point. I basically can't bring in my suitcase unless I want to leave with stowaways. But this time, to my delight, NO BUGS at all. A nice clean room. Thank you thunderbird.

The young lady that checked me in was extremely kind and welcoming. I think that’s why I didn’t realize it wasn’t the best place. The bottom of the door in my room had a large gap. Big enough for someone to slide something under and unlock my door. There was also a 7x7 square hole in the ceiling

The room was very clean. The front desk was very nice and friendly. Housekeeping was even friendly when they came to the door to tell us it was check out time even granted us late check out without giving an attitude. Pleasant experience. The water in the shower stayed hot for hours.

While I don’t have anything negative to say, I also don’t have anything overwhelmingly positive to say. The accommodations met our needs for the evening. The room looked clean but didn’t “feel” clean if that makes any sense. Overall, I wouldn’t seek this place out to stay another night but it was fine.

Arrived to people in the shadows of the parking lot and heavy smell of pot and like some crazy movie scene, the light overhead flickering. Room was not very clean, fingerprints and hair from the previous occupant. Front desk guy was nice. Gave us a room with a king. Went back to get the room we paid for, 2 queens.

Dirty room, there were a pair of glue on eyelashes stuck to the shower wall. There were roaches and bugs. They keep the doors open before you check in with the AC off so it was extremely hot in there and the AC hardly worked, so we demanded a refund and left. It was in an unacceptable condition.

I was staying for two nights. Checked in very very late and got into my room. The electrical plugs next to the bed had been removed from the walls and there were cockroaches on the floor and the bed. I went back to the front desk and asked to change rooms, which they obliged. But the new room also has cockroaches, just not as many. The room was comfortable other than the roaches but no coffee maker.

At check in i get my key open the door and there is roaches, was giving a second and a third room and still roaches and more roaches at the end he sent me to a different room and that one was alright... will never come back here.

The people who work here are wonderful! However, the photos I don't think fully captured the challenges with this place

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. The room was in very poor condition and not suitable for staying in. Specifically: • The shower handles were broken, and I had to be moved to another room just to take a shower. • The sink faucet splashed water everywhere. • There was no iron available. • The refrigerator was dirty. • Overall, the room was not in acceptable condition. The only positive aspect of my stay was the staff, who were excellent and very helpful.

I want a refund or credit

I like room was big but price was kinda high for one night and if didn’t order online was 50 dollars more in person which is ridiculous instead of matching it when showing it to them

My stay started out somewhat friendly and things went downhill The first room they offered me smelled like dog urine so they switch me to a second room I get in there it's seems not too bad at the first then in the middle of the night is when it all happened German roaches everywhere crawling on me coming out of the walls cracks it was awful I just didn't want to bother no one when I noticed it I thought oh I have three more hours till it's 6:00 then I tried to check out they said no problem they're going to refund me my next day cuz if there is no way I was going to shower in this place and even have a letter from them email stating that they would give me my money back well obviously can't they can't afford it they couldn't afford pest control or they don't care worst hotel experience ever Don't do it stay away from this place

there was to much noise, the front desk lady named Sonia was very professional and kind, but the area of the hotel is too loud at late evening with the people upstairs. the area has a lot of homeless. but the room is very very clean! Its just the kind of people that stay there. and the key did not work......but as soon as we went to the front desk it was fixed.

Shower handle broke off, checked in late and wasn’t gonna switch rooms late at night, shower head sprayed water from the neck that connected to the shower head. Put a wash cloth so it wouldn’t spray everywhere. Told hostess and she apologized, didn’t expect much other than an apology. Definitely not staying again, a one night business trip

Its a nice cozy place. I like that it is well kept up pretty well.

The bath tub was slippery. Fell and got a bruise on y chin, told the owner and all he said was i don't know what to tell you!!

What I liked about property is it's clean and close to everything.What I didn't like was that the room I was in was infested with roaches. In the bath tub and all across the room. Looks good on the outside but what's in the inside is not right...

I paid for a king bed for a queen. The air conditioner/heater rattled loudly all night. The management was rude and wouldn't refund the difference for the downgrade. Expedia was no help because they needed the approval from the manager to refund my l the difference out other option would be they could credit the difference with them. I paid had earned money and thru to give Me credit. So impossible to get in touch with management at the Thunderbird. He's so rude and brushed me off. Will never again stay at this roach motel or use Expedia again. Frustrated and disappointed.

The blankets had cigarette burns, I asked for a nonsmoking room and it reeked like cigarettes and they spray something to try to mask it. The microwave and mini fridge was Very convenient though. In my room you had to slam the door just for it to lock and the safety lock was broken.

the Jacuzzi needs a nice deep clean. The button had scum on it, and it's a little.. stained.. you need that Clorox spa stain&scale control and a good bristle brush to get that off. But, other than that the housekeeping was phenomenal, the price was great and the bed/room was so comfy and clean. Big beautiful TV and convenient charging ports.

Okay hotel with no frills. Room had few towels, floor felt dirty. And bedding seemed old but sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. Cost more than it should for what it was.

I ended up checking out before midnight due to the state of the room (stains and cigarette holes everywhere) and fearing my safety. There was also a huge gap in the bottom of the door and lizards coming in. Not worth $140 at all!

The staff was amazing! Anytime there is something wrong with the room. The maintenance was on top of it. If I would call the front desk and ask for more towels. I would have them in seconds.

Guy at front desk was a little sketchy not very welcoming. TV in room 121 did not work was way too difficult to figure out how to watch ANYTHING. Couldn’t phone the front desk because there was NO phone! Went to take a shower only to find out there’s NO way to turn from bath to shower head. Once again NO phone to call front desk. Also we seen a ROACH when we first walked in.
