The beds were confortable and the room spacious Was told we would have a crib but it was a pack n play. The AC was not working properly in our room, it was very hot. The breakfast was mediocre.

My room was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed. I slept well. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. I appreciated the hot beverage station being available all the time.

The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. The elevator nearest our room was out of order. The pool was closed for maintenance work. The air conditioner in our room did not work well; room was stuffy. The remote for our tv did not work; we reported it to the front desk. The lady at the desk stated she would come up, but she never showed up so we could not use the tv at all.

Another issue is that when I asked for a receipt at check out the young man did not seemed pleased. He was not very receptive at all to questions or acted as if he wanted to be there. My husband did appreciate the breakfast.

The TV was great. I like the idea of being able to sign into our Netflix and YouTube and it’s signed out automatically when we check out. I also love the zero products they offer The shade was see through and the lamp light and moonlight made it difficult to sleep

Close proximity to highway, no parking fees, plenty of parking, smart TV and HDMI hookup available, laundry facilities very clean, elevator clean, no bad smells, gym was nice and clean no smells John who works at the front desk was exceptional, extremely professional, down to earth, friendly, helpful...allowed us to have a late checkout. He went above and beyond his duties. Gina at the front desk was very helpful and professional. We mostly dealt with John as he was at the front desk typically when we came in and out of our room. He also willingly gave us restaurant recommendations which was considerate. We definitely plan to stay again. Nothing - no issues

Check in staff was very friendly! Check in process was a breeze and our room was very spacious and clean! Bed was super cozy and the best pillows ever! Walking distance to an incredible Mexican restaurant next door for dinner last night , and a really nice buffet breakfast in the lobby in the morning!

In addition room was very noisy. We were woke up several times by slamming doors which seemed to have bern from office/ kitchrn possibly. A good nights sleep was necessary as we had another 10 hrs to drive! Coffee tasted like it had sat for hours, terrible. Would not stay here again.

I booked through hotels.com and the page froze during booking. I restarted and booked again. Hotels.com ended up charging me twice. I called immediately and was told they would work on a refund. After days of back and forth, Hotels.com claimed that Hampton wouldnt allow a refund even though it was obvious that I was booked twice for the same name and same night. I let the front desk know that one of the bookings was invalid and not to hold the room. After days of back and forth, Hotels.com claimed Hampton wouldnt allow a refund and the hotel told me that it was not them, this was a hotels.com thing. I am out $268 that hotels.com stole from me after their system froze. They are continuing to blame Hampton and stating that Hampton is the one blocking the refund. Any customer should be weary and book directly with hotels as Hotels.com has no issue stealing and lying. I have booked 100's of rooms over the years and was a gold member for many of those years because I travel alot for work. After being loyal to hotels.com all this time, they thanked me by stealing $268 from me and taking no responsibility at all. Shame on you Hotels.com and shame on you Hampton for working with such a shady service that has no care for their customers whatsoever.

Breakfast was okay but counters were filthy. People spilling waffle batter and it was smeared everywhere and no one there to clean it up. The other front desk people were unkept and dressed in graphic tees. No name tags. The room was satisfactory. Clean. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Tgere seems to be a pattern with hotels giving away rooms for their own members over hotels.com. A friend told me about it and it happened with this trip. I happen to be a hiltons member too and they provided my a different room. You should speak with the hotel chains.

Well I have policies too. I do not do business with companies like this one. I will never stay here again.

We stayed for one night on a road trip from Asheville, NC on our way back to Maryland. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The free breakfast was good and had a variety of hot and cold foods. The staff was friendly and helpful. At the front desk was a list of recommended restaurants and we went to The Harbor Inn Seafood restaurant nearby and had outstanding seafood meals.

The Hotels.com site listed pet friendly up to 75 lbs but no mention of a fee in the policies section. The night manager told us that the hotel itself has the fee and cannot be responsible for other booking sites. This is bad business. If you are going to allow other sites to book rooms for your hotel you should be responsible to be sure everything is represented up front and honestly. Also, $75 is by far the highest pet fee we have ever paid.

This location is under renovation and the pool is closed, there are no refrigerators and some of the rooms have issues such as broken AC in our first one then a broken lock on the door in our second one. The manager did work hard to get us settled in a good room.

This hotel was a remodeling mess in mid June ‘23. Lobby and breakfast areas closed and unpleasant makeshift spaces substituted. Some glass at end of parking area where temporary entrance relocated. Unrelated- shower was luke warm (water was hot the following morning). Guess what- no mention of any if this on Orbitz and no reduction in price.

You may wonder why I was insistent for a kingsize bed instead of two queens; not only is the kingsize room more spacious but the kingsize beds at Hampton Inns are less "hard" and stiff to sleep on. The following morning, I had to call the front desk and Hilton itself to finally get a hold of the general manager. After I was subsequently moved, the following day I did not receive cleaning service in my room until I called down to the front desk to get housekeeping to come by; I had requested cleaning services for every day I was there. The second day again I had not received any cleaning services and had to go retrieve new towels from the front desk myself. The front desk personnel did not seem surprised that housekeeping had not gone to my room.

I purposely got a room with a tub however the listing didn’t mention the built in ADA seat that would have made it difficult to soak comfortably. On top of that, the tub faucet dripped all night, the fridge needed to be defrosted and didn’t work, and unfortunately I didn’t realize until the middle of the night that the heater was blowing cold air and my room got down to 64°. I politely informed the front desk out checkout and was simply told that they would let management know and to have a nice day.

Not only was this my first stay at a pet friendly hotel, but being right off 81, I was a little skeptical. It turned out to be great! It was very clean, the room was big & comfy, there was an abundance of towels and there was a nice selection for the free breakfast. The woman who checked me in was kind and the entire place itself seemed safe. I pass through VA a couple times a year on road trips and I will certainly be staying here again.

This property is old and in need of updates. The bathroom had no exhaust fan and it was taking a toll on the walls and door from the steam when using the shower. The lock on the door was loose and not very secure. The bathroom needs repair; ie caulking around the tub and surrounding area. The cubbies where they put the towels was so high I couldn’t reach it (I’m 5’ 5”) I had my pet with me and their site nor Expedia showed they charge a $75 pet fee. Also there is no place to purchase snacks or drinks other than the vending machines which only take cash. Disappointing for a Hilton property for sure.
