The hotel was great for a last minute stay, the staff were super helpful! The pool was in my opinion too cold to use, even being inside but otherwise, everything was great!

Hotel was clean, friendly people working and answering questions. Breakfast was great and had a great variety of choices. It was convenient to the places we were visiting.

Young adults smoking pot in room and by door and nothing was done about it. Signage clearly stated smoke free property.

The location is convenient, close to many restaurants within walking distance, and right off a busy highway. Would definitely consider staying longer next time if we get another opportunity to visit Rochester.

We'd stayed at this hotel last year and while it was cleaner this time around, the breakfast was not nearly as good. We had a good stay and would return again if we are in the area.

The rooms were large and immaculately clean. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby! Would recommend highly.

Nice place. Staff were friendly and the place was super clean. Pros: spacious rooms, clean, close to restaurants and shops. Cons: not sure why the room itself does not have any usb ports which is really unusual now a days. Washroom was tiny would be better if the door swung the other way to open. Pool was very small and salty. Other wise it was nice stay would come back.

Run down, not clean, bad customer service, the whole place dit not match the internet description and google reviews. And Marriott should not put their name on a hotel so run down and ill kept. It’s false advertising.

Our shower wouldn’t drain the first day. So we didn’t shower as we didn’t want to stand in dirty tap water that smelled terrible.

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the room heater was very loud, interfering with sleep. The breakfast was good, but there were two large tvs in the breakfast room tuned to two different stations, which was very distracting, and I couldn’t stay in the room due to the noise.

The staff was friendly and helpful but slightly over whelmed. The breakfast was terrible. There was a variety of food items the hot items were poorly cooked. The ham was cold the scrambled eggs were watery. The lone check in person was also the cleaning restock person. The eating area was busy and she was attempting manage the check out process as well as maintaining the breakfast buffet. It was an impossible task.

I saw there were people played in the swimming pool, but I would not go there because they were wearing regular t-shirts and pants:) nice staff, clean room and free wi-fi

We were booked to arrive at 3pm. We were late, ended up there about 4:40. We had to wait for almost 30 minutes for our room as they were very short staffed and the room wasn't cleaned yet. The Lounge/eating area was very dirty. Food crumbs, water spills, etc... on ALL the tables. The room was nice once we got there.

The staff were very helpful. The lady at the front desk upgraded my room no charge. The king room was amazing.

Rooms were not ready at check in - had to wait for cleaning staff to complete the rooms. Pool was dirty and towels were not available at the pool. Also had a room booked for 4 people - there was 1 bath towel provided.

Clerk when checking in was not friendly. It felt awkward. After checking in the coffee bar was terrible. Out of regular so chose decaf- cold. I waited awhile and attempted to try again regular coffee and decaf both cold and out of vanilla creamer. Left to meet up with friends for dinner. After returning, I tried again same entire evening. Next day in evening same situation. However, morning coffee bar and breakfast fantastic. Pool was too cold and gym was very nice.

I’m not pleased from my stay at all. The pictures are not accurate. Ceiling are low and dirty place overall dirty. I couldn’t even take a shower because the tub stopper would not stay up.

The hotel itself was fine though not great. The breakfast and towel quality was excellent compared to most hotels in the Rochester area and we've stayed at a lot of them! The only thing that marred our experience was being on the same floor as a bunch of extremely rude guests who were running up and down the hall knocking on people's doors between 11pm-1am.

The breakfast spread offered a nice variety, and the staff were consistently kind and welcoming. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay that suited our needs very well.

Hot tub was out of order and the only one who could work the fire pit didn't come in until 10 pm so the 2 main reasons I picked this over nearby hotels werent even avaliable.

Breakfasts were quite good. Pool was very nice. Location quiet but near some restaurants that are family friendly. Although not close to any one location we were going--Genesee Village, Ganondagon museum, Erie Canal tour, Museum of Play, it was a reasonable distance from all of them--they are quite spread out.

The breakfast bar is one of the best I've seen...thoughtful options for gluten free and vegetarians! The lobby (this doubles as the dining area)is beautiful and spacious. Outdoor courtyard is lovely. The hot tub area didn't seem to be monitored/maintained on a consistent basis. The hot tub water was very low and had a towel floating in it later in the day when we checked. We walked over the bridge to the Mexican restaurant, and that was very good!

The breakfast was pretty good but the last morning there was no half and half for the coffee and the staff said they wouldn’t get it until the next day. Not a huge thing, but maybe an employee could have run to the store nearby and gotten a quart? They were also out of English muffins the last morning we were there. Again, not that big of a deal. Overall, a good stay.

Our pillow had blood on it upon arrival and the pool was unkempt.

We stayed for 2 night and i have no complaints, hotel and room were extremely clean, popl area was well kept and did not overwhelm with the clorine smell. Staff was very helpful at all times. Breakfast was good and plentiful, nothing famcy but just enough to get you started in the morning. If i was foing to complain i would say yhe beds are a bit uncomfy but nothing that would make you loose sleep. House keeping was so helpful. Very quiet area however accessible to many restaurants and the highway.

Room/bathroom was decent except for ventilation cannot be turned off. Good enough breakfast buffet and coffee. Low traffic noise. Table area outside entrance was not swept my 9 days there. Only 1 elevator, long wait when hotel full. Great location, restaurant/bar options in walkable distance. Parking lot for some reason not "responsibility" of hotel.

Great rooms, suites are big. Had a birthday party and the kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub.

It was a good choice for a weekend stay and worth it for the deal we got, but it was hard to find front desk staff after hours. We needed to check in at 9 pm, and it took 20 minutes to find someone. Pool was small, but our kids had fun.

Very close to shopping, restaurants, Unity Hospital and the 390. Being close the the 390 gets you on the fast moving highway system to get anywhere you need to go in Monroe County. If you are a runner, there is an awesome trail that runs north along 390 north for safe car free running.

The room was very spacious and well equipped. The only thing I’d count as a slight negative was the shower head. It worked fine but had a very wide spray and the pressure wasn’t very good.

Pool was a little crowded, there were several adults watching several kids, and they were being kids, having fun. it was too crowded for us, so we skipped the pool, and hot tub, not a bad thing, just was what it was.

Quiet accommodations for our one night stay in the area. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of room. There are restaurants within walking distance which is convenient. I would stay here again the next time I'm in the area. The hotel is a short and easy drive to the Kodak Center.

The staff is very helpful and welcoming. They offer mini food services and an early breakfast option. The beds have pillow top, but are quite firm. There is a single coin-op washer and dryer; bring soap. Workout room is two treadmills with TV. Pool was very busy every day with kids, although the water was green/murky. Highly recommend Silo restaurant within walking distance, the food there is outstanding making this hotel a great location to food options.

This was one of the most pleasant staff I’ve ever dealt with. The hotel is a great place to stay, it’s not new but it doesn’t feel older or tired. Very clean and safe. Would stay here again if I was back in Rochester.

Stayed in town to take my daughters swimming. The pool was absolutely packed and extremely small. Seating was all taken so most adults were standing.Jacuzzi was impossible to use. At least 10 people at a time were inside at a time.

Unplowed parking lot and property, stuck cars in the lot. Thank goodness we had an SUV and could get out. The pool was GROSS. So gross it was closed the next day so the kids couldn’t swim even though we had until noon.

The the furniture was very comfortable. The beds especially. There were some hairs on the bed, which made me wonder if the sheets were changed, but the rest of the room was very clean. The only discomfort I had during my stay was the parking lot had not been plowed at all and there were several inches of snow we had to wade/drive through. It was very slick.

The only negative is that the mattresses are starting to get a bit worn. They were very comfortable but beginning to show some sagging. Other than that the hotel was perfect.

I stayed here each time I came into town. Only this time I had a room where the toilet was running on its own all night. The staff did come and fix it the next day! I was also having issues with my door lock but we managed until I checked out

Everything was nice i cant really complain other then (in my own personal opinion) breakfast was weak as in not much to offer.

The hotel was great. Rooms were nice and food atbbrekfast was alsomgood. My only complaint was staying room 308, there was some kind of a generator or water tank continuously running the whole time we were there. Makes it hard to sleep for light sleepers. I would go back for sure and just make sure to stay in another room.

The hotel cancelled our reservation that was made five weeks prior to our visit. I was not notified of the cancellation until I arrived to check-in. The excuse they made was that the hotel was overbooked, even though I had my choice of rooms when I made the reservation. They offered no help in finding another reservation at any other location.

Before I checked in I specifically asked the front desk staff if they had a pool and she said they did. We check in go get pool clothes on and the pool is closed for repair mind u it was maybe 20 min from the time. Went to the front desk staff and she’s like oh yea it’s closed for the day for repair, well why didn’t you tell me that before I checked in, I literally only booked the room for then pool. And she go ohh I’m sorry. Like really.

Pool and spa area were CLOSED during our stay, fully half the reason we booked this hotel. Staff informed me lack of pool/spa maintenance has been a PROBLEM here for some time, and reviews confirmed that this is the case. Additionally, the bathroom in our room was TINY and CRAMPED. On the plus side, the staff were phenomenally friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast choices were limited, I've seen much better at other Fairfield Inns. I've asked for half my money back and won't be booking with any hotel affiliated with Marriott again, as the last one in another city had a VILE pool. I'm so disappointed and DONE with Marriott, these hotels used to be great!

The location is good. The whole place needs an update though. The pool was kinda gross, hair and dirty water all over and it was kinda dark. The room was ok. When my son accidentally let one of the pillows fall on the floor i picked it up and there was dark hair on it. So not sure if they vaccum the whole room or just where you walk. It is also noisy. The walls are thin and the AC didnt really cool the room off but it ran all night. We bought snacks from downstairs and i think some of them have been there awhile. My candy bar was definitely old and my ice cream you could tell was melted then refroze again because the shape was crazy and all of them were like that you could tell just by feeling the package. The biggest thing on why i will not go back is because when i was trying to sleep i heard a rustling and i looked up and a mouse was trying to get into my son's goldfish crackers. I am not sure how it even got in. It went behind the tv from what i could tell and by that point i was already downstairs getting a new room. The woman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. She put me in a new room right away. My son and i couldn't fall asleep after that so the whole night kinda sucked but we were only staying one night.

Nothing stands out. We were unlucky to get a refrigerator-less room. Remote control needed fresh batteries. Breakfast was just okay. We stay here because of price and location.

The hotel is clean and quiet. However, the hot tub does not work, the pool is cold and the breakfast is quite minimal. In similar hotels, there is usually a breakfast option for fresh waffles and more choice of fruit.
