I also thought the coffee was very weak each morning. My last stay there, a couple of months ago, you had a selection of coffee to choose from, on this stay it was only one choice of coffee which was very weak each morning.

No stove . Very disappointed. Not worth the price to stay here.

I love it here always clean and friendly staff Nothing

Location was great - U of R close, shopping and restaurants too. Room was clean and comfortable. More than enough room for 3 people. Medium size refrigerator. Pool was good size and clean. Exercise room was clean. Would have been nice to have an earlier check in time (1:00 - 2:00 pm).
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was the best.
- 3.5/5
Breakfast was amazing. Room was a nice size. Bed wasn't so comfortable. Room could use at least a 2 eye stove top. And a tub for a more relaxing stay.

It does the job. But probably wouldn’t stay again.

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Didnt really like how they had it set up. It seemed very compact and if there was more than a handful of people it would be crowded. All employees we encountered were super friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast area was lacking Food was ok
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly, food was great kids loved the pool. Just one thing...keys should work for pool and fitness till ckeck out!
- 5/5
nothing
- 5/5
It’s a nice clean place, feels like a small apartment home
- 4/5
When I use a good discount, it always seems that I get a room near an elevator or ice machine. Would give a better rating if this wasn't so.

Parking can be an inconvenience and spacing a little tight. Breakfast sometimes late. Staffing not always helpful.
- 5/5
Easy to find, clean rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of space in a suite with a pull out couch. Breakfast was great too.

Pet friendly, staff was fine - less friendly than some places we’ve stayed. Had everything we needed. Convenient

I was asked because I have a disability that makes me walk loudly on the floor. The room I was moved to had many more problems with wear and tear than the one I started out with.
- 5/5
Check in was quick n easy, room was definitely amazing. I got there a day early and they were able to accommodate my stay. Definitely will be back. Pool was was freezing.. lol.. but overall it was clean.

The front desk staff is nice and friendly. The house keeping service is only once the other day, and even after we waited 2 days, the house keeping still skips us (we put the house keeping notice at the door). So during the 3 days we stayed at this hotel, no house keeping at all. Our garbage can is full, no clean towels. And there’s only 1 staff(front desk) in the hotel since afternoon. We called front desk to ask for a crib, she said since she’s the only one staff here, we have to go to storage room to get it by ourselves…….

Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was ok. One day the food was labeled the other day it was not so I wasn’t sure what it was. The quality was fine.
- 5/5
The staff was welcoming, very professional, and eager to accommodate. Nothing we will absolutely stay again in the future.
- 4/5
Pros: Nice and attentive staff, easy check in process, nice decor and layout in lobby and room, decent breakfast. Cons: Rooms though nice superficially are in need of upgrades. Roller shades had multiple holes and hard time staying up, wood in bathroom door chipping and areas gouged out, roller office chair has a large stain in the seat. Rooms could’ve been cleaned better with multiple fingerprints on the headboard dirty fingerprints near door handle. And what’s with the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the bathroom being so high up? I’m 5 feet tall and totally struggled taking a showing and not having the stuff run down my arm as I’m pumping them into my hands because of height. The dispensers were at eye level for my 6 foot tall son who had a good laugh hearing me cursing throughout my shower.
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh everyday
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
This was nice but not as nice as Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids had a better water dispenser to fill up your bottle. This one only had an old cup fountain in the gym.
- 4/5
Everything easy and straight forward. Pool water looks murky, but otherwise all good. Rooms have full fridge and mini kitchen.
- 5/5
Always a good experience at Home 2 Suites in every city
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff. I will stay again when I am back
- 5/5
Check in was smooth and room was clean and as expected, overall great experience, one of my favourite Home2 locations.
- 5/5
This was the first time staying at this hotel with my family. We had a phenomenal experience. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very, very good. The king size bed sweet rooms were astronomical will definitely be staying here many many more times as the future prevails five stars all around
- 4/5
We did have a great room with a tub but it was adjourned room and there were kids on the other side and were knocking on the door. But when we asked for another room they changed it for us- just didn’t get a bathroom in new room. But over all it was very nice.
- 4/5
Great stay with the family. The kids loved the pool and the gym had weights and everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast was a nice added touch, but the only thing they didn’t have was milk. Location is good - not a far drive from where we wanted to go. Overall, we enjoyed staying here :)
- 5/5
Only there for a short period of time however room was very clean front common area clean and not cluttered the staff was very friendly
- 5/5
Very Clean! Friendly Staff!
- 5/5
The room was clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly.
- 2/5
Extremely loud two nights. The first night there were kids running and yelling all night long. The second night there was running upstairs and what sounded like loud music next door. I finally gave up and contacted the front desk. It took multiple times to get the music to go away and it was well after 11. We got no sleep as the running started upstairs early in the morning.
- 4/5
The room set-up. I stayed in 1 bed kingsize. This room had dishwasher, kitchen sink, microwave, refrigerator and ect. I really like the room amenities. I didn't have time to enjoy the hotel as a whole. I do know when I go out state I'll be looking for a home2 suites hotel.
- 4/5
The heating/ air conditioner wasn’t installed correctly and there was a snow drift in the room across the floor next to the bed. We used towels and extra blankets to try and block the draft. I think we should have gotten a discount or refund. The staff offered to change rooms but we had already unpacked and my husband is disabled.
- 5/5
Convenient location and quiet
- 4/5
Only complaint is noise above and around me. Walls are not soundproofed enough.
- 5/5
Great place...pool fitness breakfast all excellent
- 1/5
If your room is facing the street, you’ll hear every single car pass by and you won’t be able to sleep. The pillows are horrible and goes flat. The blankets are thin and not comfy. The breakfast has very little selection, the eggs are dried hard. If you go late, there will be no more bacon, no more bagels, no more oatmeal, The front desk is not helpful at all explaining the bill etc. Altogether We had booked 2 rooms here and had a horrible experience in every aspect.
- 4/5
Super friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast in the morning. One room suite with kitchen was a nice setup
- 4/5
I’d improve the main area, especially outside where the chairs are
- 1/5
Not a very good place to stay
- 3/5
Staff
- 3/5
Too noisy on the floor above during our entire stay.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Conveniently located to shopping and dining areas.
- 5/5
I enjoyed mu stay and i always do
- 5/5
Yes parking was safe and secure… The staff were very friendly and helpful.. Breakfast was ok
- 3/5
Hotel was nice room was clean but the mattress was like a Medieval torture device. Worst bed ever. Also the breakfast in morning could use some work. Everything was old, dried out and cold.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great service!
- 4/5
Rochester is riddled with crime however the hotel was great
- 5/5
Loved the simple modern look. Room and bathroom was very clean.
- 5/5
Parking was a bit difficult due to resurfacing the pavement and installing new charging stations
- 3/5
Very convenient for where I had to be
- 3/5
The room I reserved and paid for was not available when I checked in.
- 1/5
There was a party in the room next to my sister. The hotel did nothing to help the issue.
- 5/5
Very pleasant experience
- 5/5
after our home AC went out, we had to have a break ...the nice cool air in our room was perfect & we got a full night's sleep!
- 4/5
We liked the property because it was close to the airport, as our flight arrived late. We just wanted a good night's sleep, as we were leaving the next morning. We got the sleep and a complementary breakfast as well.
- 5/5
the only negative thing i have to say really is their couches are old and outdated. other than that the room was pretty modern, clean and spacious!
- 5/5
I loved the room and the staff was so nice. I just wish they had scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. The waffles and o.j was good compared to other hotels I stayed in.
- 3/5
Pullout couch bed mattress was awful.you should update the couches and get something a little sturdier& thicker . Bed linens for it also skimpy & not warm enough . Coffee also not too good at free breakfast . Did not eat free breakfast so can’t comment on food . For the price of room expected a bit more .
- 5/5
There’s a great coffee place across the street. The hotel served breakfast but we took advantage of the cute breakfast places in downtown Rochester.
- 5/5
Everything the front desk lady was so winded and beautiful
- 5/5
Home2 suites is perfect is you are looking to stay more than a couple days
- 3/5
Then I sent in an official written complaint later that evening and they offered the night off. The pool condition did not change at all during our stay, which is scary. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was not very clean and there were gross stains on the couch. Lots of hairs in corners of the shower and floors. Not major, but also every night I went to make tea, the hot water was luke warm and the girl at the desk had to get me a cup. Same girl each night, so maybe there is a connection. It served its purpose for us having a full sized fridge and means to cook, but I would look at a different hotel next time.
- 4/5
Guests often had their trash and dirty towels thrown in the hallways. Could hear my neighbors TV and when they would drop their toilet seats
- 5/5
Very accessible, great price, easy parking, great breakfast, friendly staff.
- 1/5
Took my money so did hotels.com im do e using this company
- 5/5
The room was very large, spacious, and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend
- 3/5
Property is a bit old and dated. Average.
- 4/5
Staff are wonderful
- 5/5
Comfortable stay, convenient location. This is my go-to hotel stay when in the Rochester area.
- 3/5
Rooms were a good size. Shower handle in the restroom fell off and needs repair. The bathroom door lock also did not work and needs repair. Loud group staying in the same hallway interrupted sleep all night long continuing through until 6:30am
- 5/5
Large rooms, good condition, for the price
- 1/5
Called front desk multiple times about the noisy neighbors. The walls are paper thin. They started with night club music at 9pm and its still going at 3am with loud conversation, laughing and music. Called front desk again and asked them to find them a conference room for their all night meeting.
- 5/5
Convenient and clean
- 4/5
Overall it was a decent stay but we would not return. Breakfast was cold and eggs obviously old.
- 2/5
Noisy because of thin walls. Dirty carpet. Hallways smelled like pot.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the stay
- 3/5

In town for a hockey tournament. Nothing fancy but it did the job. Ok for the price.
- 1/5
They gave us a room that was not what we paid for. The room was dirty, outdated, and not the right size for us. We cancelled the room and left.
- 5/5
Terrific experience and helpful staff
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Loved the size of the room. Excellent buffet breakfast. The area around the hotel is so depressing. It epitomizes the worst of the USA. No reason to visit or stay here unless you have to.
- 5/5
We had a great time staying at the hotel for two nights. It was super clean and the location was perfect, right near everything we needed.
- 5/5
It was a comfortable weekend away from home and I'd stay there again if in the area.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay, however our neighbors had a dog that bark throughout the night. I feel that people with animals should stay on a separate floor from guest without pets! Other than that everything was fun and ALL the people at the front desk was helpful and kind. Great customer Service skills!!!
- 5/5
Good clean
- 5/5
Beautiful property, and spacious rooms
- 2/5
The worst Home2 Suites I had stayed. Lack maintence, vent covered with dust, some kind of green soap sprayed on the floor near the vanity counter, hairs in vanity drawers and shower.
- 5/5
Very accommodating for a family with young kids.
- 1/5
In short, they gave my room, that's sleep 6, away. And put myself and 3 other minors in 2 different rooms. This lead to minors sleeping in the hotel with now adult supervision. Second the door on one of the rooms would not close, unless you picked up on it and pushed or pulled really hard. I did call earlier that day and let the hotel know I was planning on coming in late and made sure everything'l was in order still at this time they said yes. Breakfast was ok. Could have any toast bread because they didn't have the auto toast on.
- 3/5
For what it was, the hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
We met lots of family who came to stay for a funeral and they said their rooms were not even made up before they checked in at 6:00pm! Cleaning staff need to care more! Have stayed in many Home2suites eg. Buffalo and their breakfast is amazing! The breakfast at this hotel was terrible!
- 3/5
Took a while to check in. Computers were slow. Clean and roomy suites. Nice large screen TV's. Several chain restaurants in the area as well as name brand shopping.
- 3/5
Our stay was fine but i would choose somewhere else next time. There was a huge crack in our shower that was caulked shut and missing tiles in the room. Sunday morning it was very loud from other guests above and next to us as well as loud vehicles on the road that you could clearly hear from the room. The stay was fine and did what it needed to
- 1/5
The bathroom was filthy and the bed killed my back so bad
- 5/5
Spacious and clean rooms and welcoming customer service - thanks!
- 5/5
Husband and I stayed for 2 days ! Room spacious clean and comfortable! Alexis at front desk wonderful! She made our stay enjoyable with suggestions of where to shop and eat! Look forward to our next stay here!
- 4/5
Very convenient to shop and many dinning options. The room needed to be vacuumed better. Lots of crumbs in the kitchen area. There was also food left in the freezer.
- 5/5
I like Hilton brand hotel
- 4/5
would stay again
- 5/5
Nice gym. Microwaveable foods for sale in lobby. Clean and colorful lobby.
- 5/5
A lot of traffic so not very wuite
- 4/5
The bathroom door is the wierdest I have ever seen. It is a heavy door, has no handle and a tiny litte lock which is almost not possible to use. Sliding the door to open and close was really annoying and hard. But the hotel was good in all other respects.
- 5/5
Awesome place, perfect location. Shout out to to Alisen who checked me in. Very nice, very friendly and helpful!
- 2/5
Not clean place.
- 4/5
It was overall good
- 5/5
Clean and nice little hotel. Area is great for dining and shopping. Staff was nice and our room was spacious. Breakfast was ok, not amazing but this is not a resort so reasonable. I would recommend for a short stay.
- 5/5
The breakfast was great and the room was enormous
- 4/5
Convenient stay for airport. Unfortunately loud party kept us up until 3am
- 2/5
Room was not an available at check in time. TV had no signal. They did not return my calls for requesting help with tv
- 1/5
1 of 2 Rooms with 2 queen beds that I prepaid for was not available when we arrived time. Front desk person said i have a king swing and to take it or leave it. No ambition to help solve issue they created. Just take room or leave at. Rooms are getting very run down broken lights shower handle drawer handles. 1 good thing to say hotel was overclean enough to say they try to keep up on that side. Will never stay again. And I was hoping this would have been a hotel I could use regular for the few times every year I will be coming to that area now.
- 4/5
Young kids running the hall after 11pm for at least 20minutes
- 4/5
Have stayed at this location several times in the past and is convenient for me to go to work and visit with family…
- 4/5
great suite, nice room, but If I were to stay again, I would ask for a room on the back side, the highway was loud.
- 4/5
Ery nice, pet friendly hotel
- 4/5
CONS; No water to drink at breakfast (juice and coffee was available), sloppy tile work and trim in the bathroom (cosmetic only, but could look much better easily). Overall, we were very impressed, and wouldn't hesitate to bring our family back to this hotel!
- 4/5
Stylish and spacious suites, the downside is there are sightings of roaches.
- 2/5
Shabby furniture and bed
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic. Only reason the hotel we stayed at didnt get all 5 stars was "around the property" was due to no enforcing non-EV ICE vehicles parking in the charging stations.
- 2/5
After having to change rooms (toilet didn’t flush, phone didn’t work, dust and dirt under sofabed), the next room didn’t have a mattress cover and they ran out of towels. Room furniture was shabby (cuts in ottoman and ripped chair). Desk staff said I could not be compensated because I booked through Expedia.
- 3/5
The beds & shower were fine, & all was clean. The breakfast was good, but some fresh fruit fruit w/b nice (bananas?) Waffles were good, but a second waffle press w/b helpful. It was a pretty good visit, thanks!
- 2/5
The tub was dirty, with rust and grime. There was trash around and under the bed. A guest’s dog was barking non stop. The breakfast options were limited. The washer was old and made a lot of noise. The dryer was full of lint and the lint basket doesn’t sit properly. Will definitely not be staying here again.
- 4/5
Room size was excellent. Pullout couch with bedding is always a need with my family of five. Love the counter space and multiple outlets for charging. Only reason for a 4 instead of 5 is the hallway carpeting and ventilation were older or could use some upgrading.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean. Swimming pool was great and the Breakfast was Awesome!!! What a selection of food!!! Very good!!!
- 4/5
Windo blind dress didn't shut all the way, walls are paper thin.
- 5/5
Our go to hotel when we travel. Love the spacious rooms. Could have done without the fire alarm going off for half an hour(burnt toast in breakfast area) but rang through all the rooms. We weren’t sure if we had to evacuate or not. Would love if you would open one in Port Huron Michigan. Love the one in Saginaw with the outdoor fire tables
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful!
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
This is my second stay at this hotel. Both times the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Luggage carts were non existent. Only one of the two elevators were in service. This hotel seems to cater to local families looking to book a room to host large groups of people and use the pool. The room was run down and carpet was filthy. This will be the last time I stay here.
- 4/5
Staff was fantastic, on the phone and in person! Location of property was convenient and within 15 minute drive to downtown. Ample parking spots available when we travelled there. Room was clean and comfortable. Would return again!
- 3/5
Ran through multiple room assignments to correct uncleaned room, door card fault, broken toilet. Breakfast undesirable. Location and staff great!
- 3/5
The property itself was great. My only complaint was one of the staff members during breakfast followed me around, telling me to pick up my stuff everything that I was making out the breakfast buffet and then had the audacity to tell me If I’m taking the tray upstairs, I need to bring it back down the next morning. She was very rude.
- 5/5
Room was great, bed was comfortable!! Staff was friendly
- 5/5
Check in was quick and efficient, property and room was comfortable and roomy very pleased with my stay
- 4/5
Property was good and convenient. Always appreciate the breakfasts. Very convenient for food and shops, but not much else in the area.
- 1/5
Although we did arrive 10 minutes before check-in, there were no rooms available. Initially we were quoted 30 minutes, it was changed to “probably an hour” at the conclusion of our conversation. When we returned an hour later, we were able to check in and the “incidental fee” was waived (really the only positive of the experience at the hotel). The hallways and elevator were run down and beat up looking, one of the elevators made a concerning noise and shaking that we either took the stairs (from the 4th floor) or waited for the other elevator. One huge reason I chose this hotel was for the pool. The first day the pool water was very cloudy, there were several used bandaids, garbage, and clumps of hair on the deck around the pool and peeling paint and rust around the chairlift. The second day, after returning from spending several hours in the very hot sun, there was a sign up that the pool was closed until further notice. The room was a nice size and having a couch was nice to have, rather than having to sit on a bed, to relax. The smell of the room was off putting (not sure if that was related to the cleaner they used). The room was a “surface” clean (first look it seems clean but closer inspection showed it needed more attention: toothpaste remnants on wall behind sink, scuff marks on the door/wall as you walk in, and an old sock that we found on our last morning that didn’t belong to us). There was a plunger left outside of a room in our hallway for most of our stay.
- 5/5
Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Hotel shows a little wear and tear, but nothing big. Doors are very heavy to open.
- 5/5
The check in was perfect. We were lucky, the manager was at the desk. She was a delight .
- 4/5
Good accomodations and experience. Just thin walls.
- 5/5
The suite was impressive and spacious. I would gladly book it again.
- 3/5
I do however, have a few complaints 1. Not enough towels, pillows etc. had to ask for more.. ( maybe I am used to staying at other types of places but I sort of expected there to be enough towels for us all..) 2. The pull out couch was awful.. you could feel the metal springs in our backs. Not THE HILTON EXPERIENCE I WAS EXPECTING. 3. Breakfast was good but they ran out fast and were not able to keep up with the demands and not enough seating. Check out was great… however, the slogan says if you were not satisfied and they could not fix it… the night would be on them… this was not true… when I complained about the couch the wonderful person checking us out said she has told management but they do not listen.
- 1/5
My complete reservation was lost and the hotel was not able to accommodate me
- 4/5
All in all a good stay. I do love the Home2 suites and always try to find one when traveling. Carpet was a bit wet in front of the ac unit and the bath products on the shower wall are too high as I'm 5'2" so it was a stretch. Also, the dishwasher had dirty dishes in it that I took care of. couldn't take advantage of the free breakfast as it was so crowded at 9:30am. Also, I purchased a lean cuisine for dinner and when I cooked it the chicken was very dry. I don't know why that would be, it was NOT past the expiration date.
- 5/5
Clean, nice rooms, close to our final destination for our trip.
- 4/5
Staff shortage. Waited 20 min upon check in for someone to come to the front desk. Then she was rushed because there was a line forming. No one at front desk to check out. Left our keys on top of a pile of keys. Otherwise nice stay.
- 4/5
Pillows soft and used mattress pad under spend o. Top of sheet. Payment concerns and awaiting this to be cleared up as June 28-29 we’re prepaid and was charged again.
- 4/5
Problems with my payment. Had paid months before on Expedia and still charged $376.00 when I left. Need this corrected I have my amount that I had paid previously. I need this corrected
