Reviews
Guests generally find the hotel clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a convenient location. However, noise from the highway and other guests, as well as thin walls, are frequently mentioned issues. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the value for money, citing overpricing and additional charges.

Property was nice! Wish I knew there was parking in the back of the property as the spot in the front are very small and the rear are much more roomy. But other then that the property was nice.

The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. This inn was a good value for the money.

Breakfast was great! Thank you!
- 3/5
There was too much noise from the road outside of our room, and the shower was dripping, plus there was a hole in the curtains that the Early morning sun came right through. All in all it was an okay place to stay a night. The breakfast was good and included

The hotel is right off a main road. Parking is very safe and well lit. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The gentleman was very accommodating and made sure I was happy with the room. The room was very clean and very quiet all night.

Very nice and clean Too much chlorine in the pool

It did not have bed bugs. It was awful. We would have left but we had just returned from an overseas flight at it was late at night. We were drop-dead tired so we locked everything up and hoped for the best. carpet & couch had horrible stains room smelled like urine very hot check in staff were rude people screaming at each other in the parking lot at 2am Door had about a 1/4 inch gap, so security was sketchy

Greta access to the highway. Bed was comfortable, room size was spacious. Parking was tight. Staff upon check in, was ok. Breakfast was quite small & not much offered as described. Pool & hot tub area, could use an upgrade & better maintenance with the pool/jacuzzi water. Both were dirty & left our skin feeling itchy. Our room, had a semi odor when walking in. We noticed some sort of plastic bag (similar to the ice bucket bag) that was wrapped around our fire detector in our room. Felt rushed to exit the room by cleaning staff, before our check out time. They stood right by our room door after confirming we were checking out till we walked out.

Hotel looks a little run down. Parking area had some questionable people hanging around. My kids and I didn’t feel completely comfortable getting in to the hotel. There were some people doing some inappropriate things in the pool, and you can see the pool from the back parking area, so my kids could see it. We were only there one night so just decided to go sleep and leave early in the morning. Also, my room was booked and paid for in advance and when we got there, they couldn’t find my reservation. Expedia did a great job in helping and getting my refund back almost immediately, but the hotel was a little sketchy. Definitely not going back.
- 4/5
It was clean , quiet and good breakfast
- 5/5
Very clean, staff as very helpful. It is very quiet and parking is secure and safe.
- 1/5
Gross hotel worst bed I’ve ever slept on
- 4/5
Rooms were clean. Not very quiet, rooms not sound insulated. Breakfast was ok, standard quick hotel breakfast.
- 4/5
The breakfast was varied and fresh. The room was cleaned well every day.
- 4/5
You will grow old waiting for the elevator. The parking lot was in good shape but the parking slots were very narrow very difficult to get in or out of your vehicle if vehicles parked on both sides
- 3/5
parking was great, breakfast was average
- 4/5
Everything was great, the only thing I would change was the size of the parking spaces, they were very small and you could not get in your car without having your door touch the car next to you.
- 4/5
It was a good place overall and I will stay again if needed . Rooms are not terribly soundproof and the hallway traffic was louder than usual in most hotels
- 4/5
Peaceful and relaxing hotel who have wonderful staff who work very hard for every guest. Property maintained every day. Stayed a week and had everything needed. Felt very safe, extra parking in back, most shopping stores are close to drive to. Only thing is they didn't have treadmill and shower does squeak. Pool and hot tub are amazing. Will come back when in area.
- 4/5
Conveniently located near university. Clean and comfortable room. Noise from street is noticeably in the room. Overall, good value for the money
- 4/5
Cleanliness and Breakfast were great!
- 3/5
The lady behind the desk when I asked about a senior discount she said she couldn't give it to me because it was prepaid and it wasn't supposed to be paid until I checked in the room which looked clean but I spilled some water on the floor and cleaned it up with the towel the towel was filthy when I picked it up I don't even want to think what was on the carpet. parking lot the spaces are a little small I have a truck the breakfast in the morning was good
- 5/5
Room clean, breakfast was good. Lots of variety
- 4/5
Very helpful staff.
- 3/5
Limited parking and the breakfast was not up to par
- 5/5
Everything was great. Easy check in. Nice clean room and the breakfast was perfect. Everything was organized and the set up made it easy to grab everything and Keri l keep it tidy for the next guest. Would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable rooms . The complimentary breakfast is great as well .
- 3/5
The tv did not work and could not be fixed according to staff. They could not put me in another room as it was all booked. The elevator smelled like a foot. The hot tub had some brown grime floating atop of the bubbles. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The staff member left a note about the noted issues in order to issue a partial refund but I was fully charged for the room. It is in a pretty crummy neighborhood but close enough to downtown and other areas of Sacramento. This motel is ok but not great.
- 5/5
Easy stay
- 4/5
Clean and big room . I like they have microwave and fridge. Noisy from street traffic. Bed is a soft
- 4/5
Good breakfast
- 2/5
Would not stay here again
- 3/5
Shady neighborhood, nothing that I would walk to at night
- 4/5
It was conveniently located, safe and reasonable - close to Sac State. Decent breakfast too. Will stay there again.
- 3/5
The rooms smell so bad.
- 3/5
The room was stuffy, unable to control the room temperature, and it had an awkward smell; it smelled like someone had vomited in the corner of the room.
- 5/5
Pool and spa was great
- 5/5
The room was very clean
- 5/5
The complimentary breakfast was topping on the cake ! Full spread. We will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and the staff was great
- 3/5
The elevator needs to be replaced immediately!! It was very slow and jerky. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The woman at the front desk when I checked in was superb!!
- 3/5
Convenient location, good customer service, the pool was murky and sandy.
- 5/5
Everything was great . We love to stay here when ever we travel for my son’s doctor appointments. Everything is clean and the girl at the front desk is always so nice and helpful. Kudos to her .
- 3/5
Cons: requested extra bedding ahead and it wasn’t provided. When I asked for some, they tried to hand it to me to bring to my room myself while my hands were full which was a little wild. The room also advertised a microwave and they were not helpful in providing one until I insisted. Poor front office service. Breakfast is advertised until 10am, but they stop at 9am on weekdays which was not communicated until arrival. Last, it’s a bad area, not the best location.
- 2/5
Dirty room
- 3/5
Room was clean except the bedsheet had one hair strand in it near the pillows. Tub was nice and clean with hot water. Bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Friendly staff good amenities
- 2/5
Room was clean continental breakfast had lots of options but food tasted stale. When we took the kids to swim we noticed stuff on the bottom of the pool that looked like loading Feces. And there was a cockroach floating in the pool. When we went to tell the lady working at the front desk she was on her personal phone and more concerned with that then helping us and told pass it on
- 5/5
Clean room, staff were helpful. My 8 year old liked the indoor pool and hot tub.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable, well situated for our particular purposes. Breakfast options work for us. Price varies trip to trip, but can be a viable option.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean,comfortable room
- 4/5
Quick and eventless check-in. They even let us check in early with no extra charge. The room and bath room were clean and stocked. The only complaint I had was the mattress. An old, soft spring mattress. Woke up with sore back.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 2/5
The room was not clean. The entire staff was rude. Dead bug in elevator for five days. It was extremely noisy, especially the staff in the hallways. Also traffic noise. I will never stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone.
- 2/5
The rooms were not sound proof. The water pressure and temperature were so bad. There were a couple of roaches we found. The bed made so much noise while just moving on it. It was clean so I gave it two stars. And I also needed to stay because I had a big test to take the next day.
- 4/5
Water pressure for showering and sink were terrible. Room had an odd smell when we walked in. Wouldn’t be my first choice to stay here again but isn’t terrible either!
- 4/5
Front desk staff and the kitchen staff
- 1/5
Found hair in my bed sheets. Air conditioning was terrible, the air was so foul, we woke up with stuffy nose in the next morning. DONT RECOMMEND
- 3/5
Check-in experience was mismanaged. Breakfast was closed at 9:30am
- 4/5
Clean room, staff
- 5/5
I also love how big the room is. It was super spacious and comfortable, my favorite part. I got the King suite or the mobility suite it was a great price as well, but definitely come back again.
- 5/5
parking was safe
- 5/5
Had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly polite and professional from the moment I checked in. The rooms were spotlessly clean and featured a sleek, modern decor that made the space feel very welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a seamless experience!

- 2/5
The room was great, 200 deposit was a bit steep for the area, allot of homeless and just now a very nice area
- 4/5
alright
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good and the attendant was diligent in keeping the area clean.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the desk service was friendly. The property has had decent renovations, and our room was nice. The free parking was much appreciated.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, the staff was very helpful. My kid got sick, and they did everything to help her feel good.
- 2/5
Staff was nice. But wouldn’t stay here again. The area is sketch and the building is old. It is a 2 star hotel, so don’t let expedias high stars deceive you.
- 5/5
Nice staff and clean
- 3/5
Well I believe the rooms looked nicer online. I just feel like the cost is way too much for a motel 6 kinda vibe!
- 3/5
Rooms didn’t feel warm and cozy, the deco was cold. The hot water wasn’t very hot. Was an old room trying to be new, but it was clean.
- 5/5
Clean room staff was wonderfull
- 5/5

While visiting Sacramento on a fishing trip I specifically booked a hotel with hot tub facilities. The hotel room was very old looking with chips of loose wood on doors carpet was not the cleanest, room had stale odor also ,I would have left but it was a Long drive back to San Francisco that night and was tired .I was so looking forward to getting into a hot tub to relax during trip ,that was supposed to be highlight of trip for me and my guest after a long day of fishing. To our dismay when we attempted to use hot tub it was very cold we waited but tub never heated up at all, manager was very nice he apologized which was appreciated but still no hot!! That was the last straw.I was very disappointed with accommodations.I was hoping to possibly get some type of credit,I’m planning another trip to Sacramento I normally stay in the downtown area of Sacramento at the Grand Sheraton …you can check my history..I very much enjoy hotels of that caliber but they don’t have a hot tub.I canceled booking I had for Dec 5th hoping I could get some type of remediation for next booking. If not I will use another service to book room in Sacramento.Ive been a customer of yours for some time now and never had a bad experience such as this hopefully you can help me out with next booking.I would like to re-book reservation for (Hilton Embassy Suites)I just canceled if possible…let me know asap if you can…Thank You..from loyal customer! ….Charles Helton
- 4/5
This was a comfortable, clean, good basic hotel at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and seemed hard working. The gym was small but sufficient. The location makes for an easy drive to many locations around Sacramento.
- 5/5
Yes great
- 5/5
Will be back here if I'm around!
- 4/5
Really nice stay, great family-friendly atmosphere.
- 1/5
The staff was rude, when asked for towels I was told they were short on towels and they could not give me any. After asking to speak to a manager the girl gave me the towels but in a very rude way. Also there was no shampoo or conditioner in our room. Breakfast had very limited options and the water and apple juice tasted like water with Chloride.
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hot tub water was a bit dirty but pool was great. Definitely would book again.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
Air conditioning was the saving grace for me.
- 4/5
Location is great if needing accommodation for CAL State Univ. campus. We did not have a vehicle and used Uber when needed. Food options nearby are fast-food, so used Door Dash. Hotel breakfast options were good; but, they need a new toaster that's rated for commercial use - bread never toasted, just heated it. Room was updated and clean. Nice pool/spa but didn't use it.
- 4/5
The front desk lady was super nice, friendly, she greeted us and swiftly checked us in. The room was standard 1 King bed. Linens were clean and fresh. Many pillows (some really lumpy and ready to be retired). The mattress 🙈🙈… felt like the middle is higher than the sides, because we were rolling off the bed, all through the night. Light in the room was ok, but cold and not cozy. However, the spotlights were spot on, The furniture is ok, nothing fancy. Closet doors definitely need a new coat of the lacquer. Refrigerator is functional, but the freezer was packed with ice overgrowth. Would’ve been nice to defrost it now and then… Telephones are worthy of 1990s movie set. Bathroom Towels are standard - not good, not bad. Water pressure in the shower - perfect - not too strong, not too weak- just right! The shampoo and conditioner are very nice, no obnoxious smells, in fact, quite contrary - very pleasant, light fragrance. Same with the hand soap. Whoever had chosen it for the hotel, did a great job! Thank you! 🙏 A word about the bathroom lighting - it is a perfect lighting for makeup applying before the event! Definitely 10 out of 10. Would I vet stay there again? Definitely! But hopefully with a different mattress. Sleeping on that mattress after a long and hard journey was a torture.
- 5/5
Nice room, good nights sleep. Hotel was clean. Staff was great. Street noise was aparent, kept window closed, a/c worked great.
- 4/5
I like the room cleanness, the hot breakfast, helpful staff
- 3/5
No microwave or safe in the room. No floor towel in the bathroom for standing on when getting out of the shower. I did like that the hvac was fairly quiet.
- 3/5
Air conditioner was noisy, the bed lumpy and the pillows are small and awful. I didn't sleep well at all.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff
- 5/5
Great location and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Sacramento. Breakfast included and close to all amenities.
- 5/5
clean
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed and pillows. Rooms with mini fridge and coffee maker, plenty of USB outlets and regular outlets, TV, desk and more. The only thing I didn't try was the breakfast, so can't comment on that, but otherwise the property was well-maintained. Close to Sac State as well.
- 3/5
The pungent smell of what i belive indian food when you walk in was not pleasant..2 towels smelled like they been left out wet..
- 5/5
The staff are friendly and helpful- especially with later evening check ins. The rooms are updated with everything you need to spend a quick overnight. The only thing that could be improved is I specifically did not reserve an accessible room but that’s what they gave me. So; the room was not as comfortable as the one I had on my last stay- things like having to prop heavy bathroom doors open with coat hangers. I feel badly for anyone who was staying alone who was disabled and trying to maneuver that. Bed was also shot- like a sink hole.
- 5/5
Close to the As major league baseball
- 4/5
Room was clean and glad they had a pool. Breakfast was good and food was hot. Shower pressure was really bad.
- 4/5
Very awkward to get to when traveling north-bound.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my visit
- 4/5
Nice bed
- 3/5
Too many shady characters in and around hotel. Not a great area.
- 3/5
I was disappointed because I booked this hotel specifically for the pool/hot tub and feee breakfast combo as my 3 kids and I were breaking up a long trip from SoCal to Central Oregon. The pool was cloudy and cold and the hot tub was luke warm. This was something the kids had been looking forward to and it was a big disappointment. I was also underwhelmed with the breakfast choices, but that wasn’t as big a deal as the pool/hot tub. When I spoke to the front desk lady about the hot tub she was very dismissive. I’m not as forceful as my husband (he wasn’t with us), but you shouldn’t need to be forceful to have your concerns addressed - especially in the hospitality industry.

- 5/5
The hotel was nice. The room had plenty of space for our family. The breakfast had numerous choices, and the attendant was always refilling them. It has an indoor pool and spa. It is very close to the university.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
The clerk at desk had a hard time finding my and available room.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 3/5
It was good!!
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay overall!
- 4/5
Property smells clean and appears to be clean. Price is very affordable.
- 5/5
Rooms and lobby look recently remodeled. Staff was very friendly and provide breakfast was good.
- 3/5
My room had a smell I couldn’t describe. Overall the room was very clean.
- 4/5
The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was quite comfortable. The gentleman working the night shift was an absolute gem and helped my husband and I start our day with a smile and great hospitality upon check out.
- 3/5
Checked in on 6/21 and front fldesk lady was very friendly and nice. No problems with the check in. Stay was good and decent for what we needed. We used the gym, pool, and hottub. Before turning in for the night I went to the front desk to request a late checkout for the following day and the front desk person asked for what time. I replied with 1pm and she said that was ok. She took my room # down and said she would submit it. I asked if it would be a charge if she replied no.Fast forward to the following morning and I get a knock at the door at 10:58am from house keeping. I informed her that we had a 1 PM check out and she asked if the front desk knew about it and I said yes I requested it last night with her approval. I soon get a call in my room from the front desk to tell me that I could not have a late check out at 1 PM unless I pay a $20. I told her that the front desk clerk the night before said I could have a 1 PM late check out and it would be no charge in her response was she’s new and doesn’t know, this is our policy. I told her that because an employee of the hotel said it was OK. Could I still have the 1 o’clock late check out for no charge and she said no. She wouldn’t even let me finish my question before saying no. So needless to say, I will never stay at another comfort Inn and suites from this point forward. She lost potential business for myself and my athletic teams that I coach coach over $20.
- 5/5
Was a quick stay but was very comfortable and staff was amazing and helpful. My kids also enjoyed their stay, will definetly stay here again when i'm in the area.
- 5/5
The beds were comfy, the room was clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was a nice bonus.
- 5/5
Clean and look like newly remodeled.
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly was pretty clean, the hot tub and jacuzzi were kind of dirty with hair and chipping. A lot of unhoused people around the front.
- 4/5
Been there several years times. Speaks for itself
- 5/5
Parking was only thing not good. Tight spots for a full size truck
- 5/5
Checking in was fast, room big and clean.
- 4/5
Good place for a stop over. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but it was a convenient locations as we were able to quickly get to mid town, but also head east. No frills, but a solid stay.
- 1/5
We got to the hotel and walked through a cloud of Marijuana smoke on our way through the parking lot. Got to a check in desk that had a “be back in 5-minutes and waited for about 10. The hallway smelled like curry. And the Air Conditioning unit sounded like it was about to fall off the wall when we got into our room. We went back to the front desk and checked out with refund, immediately. This place made me want to shower as soon as we got to our next hotel.
- 3/5
We didnt know about the new policy of deposit $200 not okay, the room wasnt clean I found trash by the beds, towels were dirty. Left in a hurry.
- 5/5
Did not like was I didn’t got my senior discount during my stay.
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 5/5
The room was clean and nice (modern). The breakfast was great with lots of protein options. Location was great! I think they should supply ear plugs because you can hear road noise at night. The pool and hot tub were significantly smaller than I anticipated. Great value for the price.
- 5/5
Good little hotel prices are fair
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the attention at check-in was very good, this was my third time staying at this hotel, and I would book it again.
- 1/5
I would stay away from this place , not a family friendly..
- 5/5
Great place to stay during challenging family time with child at the Shriner hospital,
- 5/5
Quiet and comfortable.
- 5/5
Super small parking lot but other than that great nights stay.
- 5/5
Great customer service by Ramon front desk
- 2/5
The reason for the poo
- 5/5
Quiet, clean and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Great day for young grandson to enjoy the pool.
- 5/5
We stayed for one night and had a good experience. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Although we were next to a busy street, earplugs did the trick. Breakfast included eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, waffles, and coffee/tea—it wasn’t too bad at all.
- 5/5
Great hotel for the price, nothing special to say about the area, it is just convenient for a quick stop.
- 4/5
Spacious room
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful and king size room was spacious.
- 3/5
I love this place, stay here often for the last 25 years. Last stay no shower curtain. Did not notice till 5 AM. The part I dislike most is, they take a $200 damage deposit on a $129 room. It's been a week and still no refund to the card. I'm 70 years old staying alone, do I look like I will damage a hotel room? I have a funny feeling they will charge me $200 for a $9 shower curtain they think I might have taken. And they were painting the building. I like fresh air and windows were masked off and taped shut even after painting.
- 5/5
Clean nice hotel. Close to where our event was taking place.
- 5/5
Facilities wise there was a nice little indoor pool and hot tub which we took advantage of (there was a fitness center as well but we didn't use that). It was easy to get to being just off 50, but be advised there is a decent amount of street noise during the week if you are sensitive to that. I thought the bathrooms were fine but others in our party thought the water wasn't hot enough in the shower. Breakfast options were great, they had plentiful options rather than the usual yogurt\cereal including make your own pancakes which the kids loved! You can tell the owners take care to maintain the property. Overall a very pleasant stay and will return if we are back in Sacramento!
- 5/5
Front desk was very friendly and informative
- 5/5
Everything was good, my only complaint would be that late check out is not offered. But that’s about it
- 5/5
A bit too close to a main road with plenty of traffic at night.
- 5/5
The girl that checked me in and the guy who checked me out were so warm and sweet. This was one of the most comfortable beds, quiet rest, clean and right off the freeway with a Starbucks across the street, stores and gas stations down the street. Kiki's chicken drive thru hit the spot for dinner.
- 5/5
To good
- 4/5
Sacramento PD was pounding on everyone's door at 1am waking the whole floor. Not a good way to end the evening.
- 4/5
Parking was good. Location is good too, close to some fast food was, but Still need to work on some area of the property.
- 5/5
Mostly everything was good here. We had trouble sleeping because of the beds. Everything else was great.
- 5/5
Location was close to Sports complex.
- 5/5
Room is too dark and there’s a bulb missing in one of the lamps. I can’t believe management is not on top of issues like this.
- 4/5
I was enjoying the stay. Until the fire alarm went off causing us to be out on the cold for hour with my infant baby. Smoke all over.
- 3/5
The pool was closed, as they painted it the day of our check in. Pool and spa were the main reasons for choosing this hotel, otherwise could find much cheaper option
- 5/5
Every single staff member we encountered was just great! Good job! Will definitely book here again.
- 3/5
It could have been better, or it could have been worse. There was a lot of hallway noise, from the manager banging on doors to the general noise of people coming and going. The rooms do not have very good insulation. The window at the end of the hallway was broken and the room could have been cleaner, ie handprints all over the mirror.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful as I really needed my room early for a meeting. They could and did accommodate. All with a smile!
- 1/5
Computers. I would’ve went elsewhere, but I had paid on Expedia. I had to wait for all those other people to check in before I could so I ended up waiting quite a long time.

Check in took 2.5 hours, arrived at 5pm and checked in at 7:30pm as staff at front desk was incompetent. Waited for the manager to come in and check all 10 people who have been waiting for hours.

I was unable to sleep in the morning. The housekeepers were so loud in the morning. They did not have consideration for guest sleeping. They started around 7-8am.

Everything was great. But the area was dirty and unappealing

They were in the process of doing some renovations, and that caused some difficulties, otherwise the stay was good. I am a late sleeper because of my work schedule, therefore I was not able to avail of the free breakfast. They did upgrade my room and that was awesome.

This is an industrial area, so it is to be expected it would be noisy, property was also under a major renovation..

Took over a week to get reimbursed for our $200 security deposit after contacting Expedia to expedite the refund!

I liked the hotel very much, just the area was less than desirable with lots of road noise. Parking at the hotel is also a challenge.

My kids had a good time in the pool and hot tub. Parking lot is a little tight, staff was friendly.
