The hotel was very misleading compared to the pictures online. The photos made it look decent and well maintained, but when we arrived it looked more like rundown apartments. The door barely worked properly, which made us feel unsafe. The room was very old and outdated, and the bathroom was in terrible condition with a strange smell. I honestly felt uncomfortable even taking a shower there. Overall, it was not what we expected at all and was very disappointing.

I asked him did you call because you knew this room was not up to par or is this your protocol. I let him know that I was not checking into the room and I was headed back to the front desk for a full refund because this room was not suitable for me and my children to stay. He was polite, but he told me that was the only room they had left. He should have had that room blocked off and just told me the property was sold out. I am currently waiting on my full refund.

We went here prior to Lion’s Gate and this place was no good. It was gross and had trash inside the room, poop on the toilet seat, a used condom in the bath tub. It was nasty. It was a lot of unsavory things going on there and the bathroom smelled like marijuana due to tenant next door smoking in their bathroom it came through the vent. It was not somewhere we wanted to stay so we got a refund after less than 20 minutes. Never again at any location with this name.

I need to get my money back because I only stayed 10 min. It was horrible

I faced way TOO MANY issues here. First off, the keys had to be hand programmed at the door itself due to the machine being down. I unloaded all my luggage to the realize the room lights weren’t working, the microwave was broken/burnt. Sink was clogged. I asked for a room change, the manager didn’t believe me and wanted to see for himself. Then he moved me to the second room. Which wasn’t as bad. There was still some lights that didn’t work. I went out for dinner to comeback and my key card not work. Causing me to be locked out until security got ahold of office staff to help. The next few nights had persistent errors with the key cards. Overall , a bad experience that I won’t go through again.

The maid must have taken a vacation the microwave was dirty the stove and the counters were dirty. The bed was very comfy. You have to go to the office for towels and whatever else. The phone in the room didn't work. Great room to sit and read.

We were practically sleeping on base of bed. Plenty of homeless in the area. They did have a security person walking perimeter. Otherwise okay, sure.

Trash wasn’t taken out before I arrived so I entered into a swampy hot putrid smelling room. Tweakers hanging out in the parking lot, which was strewn with garbage. Entire property was gross and run down. I didn’t stay the night and instead left for a better hotel. I was worried about my car being broken into. Avoid at all costs.

They oversold rooms and did not inform me until I attempted to check in at 12:30am. I then had to find another hotel last minute in the middle of the night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. And even though it wasn't much, I appreciated the included minimal breakfast bar. The place is a little shabby and rundown, but it has a full kitchen and everything works and was clean. And I can't complain for the price. I will stay there again when I got back to Sacramento, I assume.

The room was filthy—especially the bathroom & tub.

The heater was broken on a cold night and there were no blankets provided. In order to get blankets and even shampoo, one would have to walk 3 buildings down to the office. Floors were incredibly sticky, TV remote broken, and overall a dumpy place. Honestly would expect my money back from a professional corporation. Don’t try to save money booking here, just shell out the extra 30 dollars.

I had to get up and go if it was brought up to my room I might’ve been able to try it. What was it anyway?

I booked this room for a seven-day stay with the expectation of being able to cook. However, the necessary kitchen items were not provided in the room. When I requested them, I was told the hotel did not have enough available. I was assured that additional items would be set aside for me once they arrived, but that never happened. During my stay, I noticed guests who checked in after me receiving items that I was still missing. While the staff was polite, their responses often felt reassuring without any follow-through. The property itself was generally acceptable. It was quiet at night, and I did see a security guard patrolling during the overnight hours. However, there was dog waste throughout the property, especially in the grassy areas where I walked my dog, which was unpleasant and unsanitary.

Our room was very dingy. Did not have any amenities such as shampoo or soap cups or coffee maker. Beds were clean thank goodness. However; there wa the distinct smell of cat piss.

Everything worked perfectly, service was fine and the hotel enforces free parking with providing you a proper parking permit to stay. They also allow you to access the bike path which you’ll need to unlock with your room card that the hotel offers you as well that allows you to meet with all of the hotel accommodations they have for their hotel guests. This hotel is located conveniently off of garden highway which leads to traveling around Sacramento safely. It’s next to all kinds of restaurants and tourist attractions.

The air con smelt of urine when it was on and despite being a non smoking room the smell of cigarettes was strong and there were cigarette burns in various places. There were people literally camped in their car in the parking lot and it didn’t feel safe. Also the smell of cannabis drifting into my room regularly. Despite all this the two ladies on reception were very kind and helpful but I would never book there again, The final issue was I booked this close to the airport because it had guest laundry so I had clean clothes for the next leg of my business trip. The laundry was out of order so now I fly with a case of dirty laundry and nothing clean to wear on my next work days so had to uber to Walmart to at least buy something to wear. A real disaster and please please don’t stay there.

Ac didn’t cools enough, order pots and pan but they didn’t have any available. Also the telephone cord was missing from the room.

Checking in hotel staff was extremely rude the hotel room was so gross there were pubic hairs on the door head hairs on the fan above the stove Blood on the lampshade the lamps by the bed had burnt out bulbs we request more but they never brought them to us and they didn't even tell us we can go get them when we asked they just said okay I would have checked out and went somewhere else but we were there for Aftershock so with them taking out the money for the room everything was so overpriced I didn't have anywhere else to stay or else I would have left but everything was so disgusting I wiped up the floor with a wet napkin because I spilled something and the napkin was black will definitely not go back

This hotel was really clean but the area was pretty sketchy. My bathroom had a giant burn mark on the counter and there was a lot of weird people hanging around. The room itself was very clean and the staff was nice. It was just hard to feel safe as a solo female traveler, especially since the hotel doors are all exerior (like a motel).

I was able to book a reservation but one I arrived I had issues with my key card not working. I tried to get the issue resolved twice only to be told that they no longer had rooms available. The front staff then only wanted to grant me a partial refund.

This has been the worst hotel we’ve stayed at. It was dirty, the lights were falling aparte the kitchen had nothing, my room weren’t available I traveled with kids and they put me in separate buildings.

I stayed because of the reviews. I knew it was too good to be true. I have pictures of the disgusting condition my room was in. I will be making several more complaints.

Descripton online didnt match onsite property. Property was old, maintenance was minimalist. To many problems with guest rooms doors, appliances were old. Continental breakfast were 1 pot coffee, ceral bars, packaged oatemeal, packaged muffins. When items ran out, that was it no more.

In all honestly, I booked this place by mistake…I wanted a totally different hotel with some similarity in name. I explained my mistake to the front desk woman, Liana, and she totally understood and allowed us to cancel our reservation & processed our refund. Liana was very pleasant and professional, a real asset to this property!!

Condition of this extended stay is poor. Free breakfast include a muffin and coffee and snack bar - well below expectation. Or what can I expect. Homeless people linger around. It should be off listing.

This hotel has a clean room and comfortable bed. Nothing else. No hair dryer, iron or coffee maker in the room. Finally got a hair dryer on the third request (Thank you Misha). Breakfast is a small muffin and a nutragrain bar.

My first room AC didn’t work and my second had bugs

The staff are wonderful. But there are cockroaches, garbage all around the property.

The room was dirty food in the refrigerator. There was four of us and two beds. When making the reservation I meant to make it for two nights but was told I had already booked the room and to just make the reservation for the next night in the morning. I was trying to make another reservation for the night but was told I had to switch rooms almost missed a very important dr appointment. The new room only had one bed and a sofa sleeper. It was broken and no sheets or bedding I had to sleep sitting on it and the other three adults on the bed. A complete nightmare and the next day it was obvious the other rooms had not been taken.

The bathroom light was not working when I checked in. No response to the phone call from the room. The property proudly displayed "breakfast included" on its site. The "breakfast" consisted of cereal bars in basket and nothing else. Not even coffee or tea. The room next to mine was very noisy and that went on for the entire night.

When i had an initial problem with my room upon check in, i stopped into the offince before leaving for my event and told them. They upgraded my room for the inconvenience and gave me a new room without question or issue. They even let me move my things from my original room after my event instead of right away which was a blessing so i was not late.

The rooms were dirty and smelled bad. The floors underneath the bed were especially dirty and there were candy, garbage, and even a forgotten sock from a previous customer, making it obvious that the room hadnt been properly cleaned in some time. The sheets were stained and dirty as well. I would not recommend anyone to stay at a place like this. They need to focus on their housekeeping.

My partner and I had a pleasant stay. The room was tidy and clean. The tv and free wifi worked great. The bed was very comfy and clean. The area felt safe, secure, and quiet, we had no worries about our car with security present even past 11pm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we would most definitely stay here again!

It seems this hotel is being improved but has a long way to go. Breakfast was a little muffin and granola bar and coffee to go. We skipped the breakfast. It’s dirty around the building and stairwell. Kitchenette and bathroom are old but in working condition. Need a longer shower curtain as the water is leaking out. Had wifi and good and quiet ac. Gerald at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.

Great bargain. The furnishings were a little dated, but the bed was comfortable and the appliances all worked, including TV, refrigerator, 2-burner stove, and AC. The AC had a "continuous fan" option, which I liked so the unit was turning on and off all night. Nestled in an office park area, so it was quiet at night.

I didn't realize that extended stay facilities can be so run down. My room, that I stayed in for less than 14 hours was dirty, cupboard doors missing, something gross on the mirror, hard bed, no bed spread or blankets, in need of paint touch ups and kinda scummy.

The staff was beyond rude and were not customer friendly extremely horrible customer service not only wit the associate that checked me in but the manager as well the next day . Never in my life have I had such terrible service from any hotel . I would never return to this sleazy motel .

This property needs to be shut down. The room I had was HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTING. I had 2 days booked and checked out the next day. There was graffiti above the bathroom mirror, no dishes in the kitchenette, chairs repaired with tape. I woke went to the bathroom and a cockroach ran across my feet. I was seen the next day in the ER for contact dermatitis. The sheets on the bed caused a serious rash on my abdomen and back. I had to take Prednisone for 7 days!!! My birthday weekend was RUINED!! The staff was very helpful and understanding.

Taking a shower was a nightmare. Water spouting everywhere. I've been to two ESA hotels, and those people never answer the phone at the front desk. They always talk about their discounts. Which are hard to find.

Very low maintained property. So many things broken including the toilet that would rock every time you sit on it. Burn marks all over table, nasty property with cigarette butts all over but the worst thing was having to constantly smell weed and cigarettes from neighbors. Did not want to shower because the tub looked dirty. When you come into the property and there is a guard on duty it makes you wonder about the safety of your vehicle also but was actually happy he was there. Another disappointing thing was there was no coffee in room and you have to ask for conditioner and shampoo which should be an item they have in room also. Website said free breakfast and I saw nothing available but coffee. Save your money and go somewhere else. Should have our money refunded for the smell of cigarettes and weed all night.

One of my worst hotel experiences...checked in and the first room was under construction- no sheets on the bed, bathroom door off the hinges, tools in the room(8pm btw). 2nd room offered had not been cleaned after the previous guests had checked out. The employee offered me a free upgrade for my trouble...except the room he sent me to still had guests in it as i opened the door...4th room was finally "ok". Had I booked directly through the hotel i wouldnt have stayed, but it was prepaid and non-refundable. The entire room needed work, paint chipped or peeling, furniture in disrepair, no smoke dectector, broken drawer under the sink, broken and missing shelf from the "closet", patchworl behind the door not printed, peephole in door had toilet paper stuffed into it from a previous guest, a bandaid was wrapped on a drawer handle, tv looked to have burn damage and no remote for the tv. The remote the front desk gave me barely worked; couldnt turn the tv on, number buttons didnt work and i coild only go "up" when selecting a channel. Needless to say, I will be staying elsewhere next time I need a room in that part of California

Walked in the room it seemed like old building I had to ask for spray, but smell came back, someone had already used the hand soap, bathroom ceiling need a paint job or a wipe down, the tub was molded, chairs had food on them in cracks, curtains need changing, more lighting in room needed, dresser drawer had a missing drawer, floor was dirty my socks are proof, refrigerator not very clean/need new racks, stove needed more cleaning, room door handle needs a fix, offer more for breakfast

This property should not be listed on Hotels.com, it is an awful location. We did not stay. After checking in we went to the room and then went back to the lobby and returned our keys and got out of there as quickly as possible. The room was grimey, there was standing water in the bathroom sink, the smoke detector was ripped from the ceiling with exposed wires hanging from the hole. The furniture was ripped and broken. There was a cooktop with two burners completely rusted over. These are just a few of the issues. When we returned our keys, the person at the front desk did not seem surprised.

I got there late and the clerk said he didn’t know why Hotels.com booked a 2 queen room because they were all out. He offered me a king with pull out couch. Being that we were only staying 5 hours because we had a plane to catch, I chose to stay. The first room he offered had a problem with the key. The battery was dying on the door. He gave me another room. This room was only half-cleaned. No blankets or pillows and a blood stained sheet and mattress on the pull out. The pull out’s mattress was flimsy and all the bars could be felt through it. I went to speak to the desk clerk again and he had disappeared. I had to get some sleep because of my flight. Nothing was resolved. I’ve stayed in many places here and in Europe that were budget friendly and have never experienced this filth and disgustingness.

Really unkempt , old facilities, generally felt dirty, definately a hang out spot for druggie-types, and a lot of stuff was broken. NO hairdryer, no coffee pot, the fridge was dead and smelly. Roomwas supposed to be non smoking, but with definaly smelled of it ( neighboring rooms had smokers), loud guests next door.

They conned me out of my money and refused let me come in from the freezing cold, stating "any time after midnight is technically a different day, so I'm not going to check you in."

There were mutiple roaches in my room and I had to check out early. Also the tv remote and tv did not match. Very ghetto establishment.

Longer review: My husband and I had reserved a room with one king size bed. When we got there, a woman in the room next to us was standing on the balcony yelling and swearing for 30 minutes. She was out there with her door open and lots of people were in her room, tons of banging against our wall, but it was mainly the woman yelling that was the problem. We were able to change rooms, at which point the woman got out in the parking lot and started screaming at us about leaving since apparently the staff told her there had been a complaint. The staff knew the woman and also seemed to have problems with her, suggesting she lives there longterm. They moved us to a room with a queen bed, which we honestly didn't care about at that point. When we got the new room, it reeked of smoke. There was dog poop around the door that we had to step over. Similar to other reviews, our room had barely anything in it. The window also doesn't have a privacy curtain, just one big smelly and dingy curtain that when closed makes the room super dank and dark. When open, anyone from outside can see you. There were sketchy people all over the place. As others have noted, the reception had nobody there when guests arrived. A sign was up saying they'd be back and guests had to wait for anyone to show up. Beware!

Area around property is nice. Pictures of room are deceiving. Twice our key cards didn’t work. The second time was at 11pm. Office was locked and there was no answer on the phones for 40 min, even though they have a phone with instructions to call if after hours. When someone finally answered, he sounded half asleep, just asked for my room number and made a new key without bothering to ask for a name. Not very reassuring in the safety department. We left the next day even though we had another night booked.

There was one staff member that was good when I checked in, the property is run down and has numerous activities happening in its parking lot. The room was very bare no end tables by the bed either side, no bedding for the pullout couch. When I asked for a blanket they didn’t have any. Not one garbage can was in the room asked for one they gave me a plastic bag. The property is not well kept, the lobby on more than one occasion smelled of marijuana, and again people hanging out in the parking lot constantly did not feel very safe at all.
