We had a great stay. Arrived late in the evening but staff was very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Everyone on staff was kind and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the breakfast crew! The beds were very comfortable, the location was quiet, and only a ten minute drive to the capital building.

I stay at the Marriott a lot and in all my years I have never encountered roaches, but there was a roach in my room on my first night. This is extremely disturbing considering how much I paid to stay here. I told the front desk and the lady just said she would tell her supervisor. This is unacceptable and very disappointing. I am so sorry to have to write this review but it needed to be said.

Now that you mention it, more lighting in the room would have been nice. There are lots of lamps, but they are all very specific to their areas. The space in between can get a little dark. The lighting in the bathroom was quite yellow, so it was hard to tell if make up was properly applied.

Traveled with two kids. Second time staying at this hotel and we liked it both times! Comfortable, quiet and had all we needed. Very clean and good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was great. Will stay here anytime we pass through SAC.

I highly recommend this place! No complaints whatsoever, and the amenities were great! Free breakfast with a ton of options, even for gluten free. The bed was very comfortable, and the sitting area with a couch and tv made the room feel more roomy and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a safe place to go for short walks and there are a few restaurant options within walking distance as well. If I ever need a place to stay in Sacramento again, this will be my first choice.

Room is clean and while not in tip-top shape, it’s better than average and most spots. However, the room is spacious - well, given it’s a suite size. There’s a separate living room area and a sink book area with a microwave and fridge; also a small walk-in closet. Plenty of space for a two people or a small family. Gym is one of the better hotel gyms I’ve been to and it’s 24 hrs access so even better. Complimentary breakfast in the morning and also one of the better free hotel breakfasts - they had a made-your-own waffle bar, oatmeal bar, cereal, bread bar, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, fruit (banana and cantaloupe on the day I was there), hard boiled eggs, juice, etc. Great option and value for the money in Sacramento!

The breakfast was delicious and well orgized. The tolms were clean and the towels were in very good conditions and clean. The only reas0n they didn't hlget a 5 star was because the room wasn't ready when we arrived and we arrived at 3:40pm. Also, when room as supposed to be restocked and cleaned, housekeeping only made 1 bed and left the other untouched. Also they didnt restock the bathroom toiletpaper. Over all though I would go back.

When we were trying to unpack and settle in at 9:30, we got a call from the fri t desk that the people below us complained of the noise. With 5 people in the room it is difficult to get stuff put away and settle in and make no noise. We tried the best we could. We had 3 adults in the room and they would only issue 2 room keys. Overall it was a nice hotel and conveniently located.

The room itself was great! Enough room to spread out a little bit. The room was clean but we were here for 3 nights and never had housekeeping. We had to call front desk for towels or take them off abandoned carts in the hallway. No toilet paper refills so used Kleenex.

The room was not ready until around 6PM way past check in. The lady at the front was nice, but had to wait from 5PM to 6PM for house keeping to finish. Also, the room was an adjoining room with a door that could connect to the next room. The family next door had kids screaming, crying, and making noise for hours, and it could all be clearly heard through the doors and wall.

Clean property, easy freeway and airport access. Pretty good breakfast although the meat option (light colored sausage) was not very good both days. But there were plenty of other things like cereal and oatmeal and fruit to fill you up.

Breakfast option was limited. Also on Friday night and Saturday morning there was a girls soccer team in room 308 305 307 as well as up the hall and down the hall running up and down the hall ways and going in and out of the rooms making all kinds of racket and our room was in the middle of it. I saw at least 6 kids outside our door doing this. It’s was a terrible experience.

The breakfast was great. Stay was nice and staff were friendly and helpful. Only problem was our air conditioner it wouldn’t go lower than 68 and it got warm at night and wasn’t able to lower the air anymore.

The room are clean and comfortable. The kitchen convenient. It would be nice to have napkins, plates or utensils available. Breakfast was breakfast. I have stopped expecting much. I haven’t figured out how the consistency of the scrambled eggs are watery. The coffee was decent. Happy to have the option of waffles, bagels, English muffins, or muffins. Appreciative to have a little something in our system before heading out.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a good experience overall. The area was clean, quiet, and felt safe. The lobby and gym area were well-maintained and clean. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient during check-in. One minor issue was the stained sofa in the suite's desk area. The hotel's location is convenient, close to a gas station and several shopping strips. I'd recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, safety, and amenities.

Few people and clean environment

IT WAS 104° THEY HAVE NO POOL! They refused tobrefund because i booked an unrefundable room. I paid for insurance, and still unable to cancel. Also, dened a swim at the sister property near by. Bad taste! And WILL never book with them again

The room was too small for a suite with 2 Queen size beds. Not enough space, no lighting in the closet area and only 2 trash cans. Also, too crowded between the sink area and the door to the bathroom. Not enough space to move around the room. Too narrow aisle and too dark in the corner where you put the luggage. :-(

My family was forced to sleep in the lobby at 1:00 am to wait 40 minutes for our room. Never experienced anything like that at any of the hundreds of hotels I’ve stayed at.

We travel quite a bit and typically stay at Springhill Suites, always reliable, convenient, suits our needs perfectly.

I liked everything about the room and staff, but I didn’t care for the homeless guy jumping in and out of the garbage enclosure by where we parked.

The room configuration was very odd and the tv was in a weird place because of that.The bathtub was very worn out and definitely should be replaced. Wallpaper is also peeking in the bathroom. The refrigerator made clicking noises all night. The beds were comfortable.

Our stay at the SpringHill Suites was very pleasant. The staff was very informed of all the amenities of the hotel and the surrounding area. Everything we needed was in close proximity. The airport was close, the Mall was within couple of miles, there was plenty eateries, and lots of fun for night life.

This hotel seems very new and very nice. My kids had an amazing time in the pool in February. The water was so warm. We were accommodated with extra blankets and pillows for our large family. Unfortunately the breakfast has gone down hill. The hot food use to be a lot better. I will stick to the bagels and pre packed serial next time.

Very disappointed that we booked a room and upon checkout were told the rooms were sold out. They did transfer our party to the hotel across the street at no extra cost but we spent lots of time looking through hotel choices and choose this place for particular reasons only to have to go elsewhere. I would caution booking from here in the future. Overall the staff were very polite and courteous so that helped.

Check in was very easy. It's right off the highway so the location is very convenient to downtown and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The water pressure is top notch, very strong which you don't really get in too many hotels. There was a small black ant that I saw in the bathroom, so I took one star off for cleaning.

This is our second time staying at this property. The hotel is in a quiet, off the beaten path office park area. It is quiet and there is very little traffic. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delightful. There were lots of toppings for the oatmeal, which is exciting because we’re real hotel oatmeal nerds. The staff is friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!

This hotel has a nice and quiet location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable that accommodated my family of five. The staff on the front(name is Ty)desk was prompt when we requested for extra blankets. The breakfast in the morning was a big plus. We also loved the fridge and the microwave in the room. There is a lot of work that can be done here. For starters, our king size bed was definitely smaller than any other king sized bed I've slept in. And upon check in our shower was incredibly dirty including hair from the previous guest plastered on the wall. Thankfully, housekeeping wasn't too far so we got that cleaned immediately. Our shower temperature was awful. Having a comfortable shower was just unattainable. The water was either scorching hot or freezing cold with absolutely no in between. Even micro-adjustments sent it to one of the extremes. Additionally refresh service is meant to be done every other day. In a 4 day stay, we never received one, despite calling down to the front desk to ensure we were scheduled for one. So after a long day of exploring we returned to stinking full trash and no linens/towels because we had set them on the floor as instructed to be replaced. Breakfast was decent, I just wish there was more fruit laid out daily. Good sound insulation. There was a large high school band that stayed at this hotel that weekend, and despite being sandwiched between two rooms of teenagers there were almost no noise disturbances. Check in and check out are fairly seamless and the front desk attendants were kind.

The door was very hard to shut and open i always had to double check every time i left that its was actually locked. Because i went to get ice i came back to my room and the door didn't shut all the way. My friends were inside. But other than the the stay wasn't bad

Maybe this is petty, however, but I love the room cold when I am sleeping. Cold enough that I need a blanket. I got up on 3 different occasions to change the temp on the thermostat. No matter how cold I set it, it wouldn’t get any cooler than 72. Even when I set the fan to HIGH. SPRINGHILL, is there a limiter on your thermostat? C’mon, you can tell us …

Bed was not comfortable, it lacked support. The water pressure is so high that turning on the bathroom sink makes too much noise. Walls are very thin too. The night I stayed here some other guest best to us was having a full on conversation at 3 am which interfered with being able to fall back asleep.

Booked on expedia says there was hot tub and pool. There isnt one kinda upsetting main reason i picked this place. Staff was nice a friendly. Quick for extra pillow and making sure they could do anything to help as i wasnt happy. Rooms were clean.

Everything was good. Hotel looks new and modern. The only issues in my suite was tripped GFCI electric outlet; took my 30 second to figure out that iron is OK and outlet has to be reset. Breakfast has acceptable quality and options. Will stay agian.

This is our second stay at a Marriott Springhill Suites. We love the layout of the rooms and appreciate having a separate area for viewing TV from the sleeping area.

This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at. As soon as we walked in the room it smelled super clean! I was happy with the choices for breakfast. Everything was fresh. I will definitely be staying here again when we attend another concert in Sacramento.
