The house is clean but cluttered with stuff everywhere. The queen room was dark and smelled musty. You do not have access to any common area in the house but your room. It is a private residence as well. There are no restaurants on property. The host keeps a distance.

The place is in an odd location but it’s nice. The only really issue I have is the fact they charge $10/day for parking. This was not budgeted in the trip and I fin it ridiculous that they do this. Particularly when it’s on its own private property. What it does, is piss me off and I won’t ever stay there again.

Room is spacious and has everything you need to be comfortable. Very much enjoyed the fact the room feels like an apartment as it is not connected to any other rooms.

The breakfast was great, had all that I needed and more. outside the rooms was not as clean as it could of been, looked a like it could need some TLC in the common areas, dinghy looking, debrie, and could of used some paint touch up. The sofa in the room was in need of replacing not comfortable at all.

Clean room with just about everything you need—fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and an iron/board. Included breakfast is a nice perk, even if it’s just average. Tons of parking spaces, though they do charge a fee for overnight parking.

There was duck poop in the pool and bathtub. Water was not working right

This is a bit of a hidden gem. While the property is quite dated, it offered a clean and quiet place. Our accommodations met our expectations.

The room was great. The only thing that wasn't great was the outlets wouldn't hold any plugs. The room was clean and suited our needs.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Sacramento. The only downside was cockroaches in the kitchen in our studio. Room 1613. The room was very tidy and nice. But, roaches are a deal breaker for us. We took all of our stuff out to the car, we certainly don't want to bring roaches back home.

no elevator: we were asked at check in if we preferred high floor or ground floor room, we replied high floor near elevator. we were assigned a high floor room but the hotel has no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. they did not tell us that the hotel did not have any elevators

Housekeeper used a strong cleaning agent, that kept us outside for 25mins, I don't like strong cleaning agents as I react to them badly.

The stay was awesome! The room was even nicer than i thought it would be. It was nice having a full refrigerator with freezer, so we could enjoy ice cream. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the pool was a good temperature. All in all the stay was a pleasent one and I look forward to the next time we will stay there.

Hotel is great. But it is almost 10 miles from the airport. They do not have a shuttle. So not near the airport.

This is definitely my go to place to stay when in Sacramento. It is quiet, clean, amazing amenities, and the staff is extremely accommodating. Love it there.

This property was great. The breakfast was delicious, and there were lots of options like scrambled eggs, the waffle maker, three types of juice, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, and coffee. The receptionist were also very helpful and nice. I particularly liked Bianca. The rooms were clean and the property was located near a freeway, so it was really easy to get to downtown Sacramento to watch my UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team. I would stay again.

The Internet was great, but charging people for doing laundry at a Residence Inn, which offered home-like conveniences, seemed very disappointing! Also, for breakfast, having fresh bagels, rather than cold from a freezer or fridge, would certainly be way more appetizing! I wasn't a fan of the chunky eggs either, or lack of potatoes! Improving the quality of your products would go a long way, which I find inedible currently! I'd even pay extra to have fresh oj rather than drink that horrible concentrate machine mix!!!

House keepers where rude ! My daughter just got back from surgery so i requested an.extra hour they gave me 30 min and then the house keepers kept knocking on the door and would not give us the 30 min 😞 my daughter after just getting out of surgery was in a lot of pain with being rushed and was stressed out.

This hotel was so unexpectedly nice! Our "room" was practically the size of a studio apartment, given that it is a Residence Inn, we didn't expect it to have an actual living, kitchen, and dining space on top of the bedroom. The complimentary breakfast is always a plus. Would totally stay here again.

The WiFi wasn’t working at all and breakfast was terrible. Fake eggs, gas station breakfast sandwich’s along with AM front desk staff being super rude. Hidden fees such as parking $10 a day.

Everything was wonderful and better than I imagined for the price. Location was hard to understand by GPS though. You have to drive through the plaza past the Mountain Mikes down a short dark side road.

It would have been nicer to have some complementary water in the room like at many other hotels. Even one bottle would have been nice. There were tea packets and coffee packets, but no water to make them with.

This property exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the two bedroom suite for two nights. It was very spacious with two full bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The pool and hot tub were good, and there was a firepit with seating outdoors also. The breakfast had good options, and all the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I used the gym, it’s very small, but met my needs. Overall a good experience, and now my go-to place when I visit the area.

We stayed in the two rooms sweet, it has two separate closed off bedrooms with a kitchenette and living room between them. Very spacious, very clean. The two room suite comes with two queen beds and they pull out sofa. The beds are really comfortable along with the pillows and blankets. The breakfast was pretty good but it ends kind of early at 9:00 a.m.. check out is at 12:00 noon which is super nice, helpful and friendly staff, I would definitely stay there again.

The light from the alarm went off every few seconds over the top the bed, right onto the pillows, all night. Traffic and train noise was far too loud- they need to replace thier windows. Spiders in the room. Homeless encampment in the field as you drive into the hotel... Hotel manager was probably the kicker. Marie was completely unsympathetic when she was told we didnt sleep all night due to the above light and sound issues. She didnt even offer to move rooms for the second night and only comp'd 1 night. It was her attitude and lack of response or empathy that makes this stay so negative. I can tell you this, i wont stay here again!! Its RUN Down.

Room was amazing! Looked just like a normal studio apartment, with extra utensils and plates. The room was clean and they had plenty of extra towels, toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels. Staff were very nice! We asked where the ice machine was, and they didn’t have one. So they gave us a gallon bag of ice.

My room was in a quiet location, very little road noise. Front desk staff were incredibly friendly and wished me luck for my job interview (I was staying in Sacramento for a job interview). Overall it was a very easy experience checking in, staying one night, and checking out.

I wish hotels.com would include the deposit fees in terms of what they hold. Depending on the hotel the fees can get high. 100 to 240 dollars they hold on your card. So the cost for a room for a single night can quickly balloon to 500 dollars even though it’s only for one night. Some hotels charge for parking and other fees so make sure you ask about the fees up front before you book. Usually it take two business days for the balance to be returned to your card.

The major disappointment was we chose this hotel for the airport shuttle that is advertised. And when we got there, they said they don’t have an airport shuttle. They stopped at three years ago and we ended up paying $40 each way for an Uber to and from the airport. There is no blackout curtain in the living room where our daughter slept and it’s super bright and loud and they charge $10 for parking. We should’ve stayed somewhere where we could get the airport for our friend. The breakfast was good. People were friendly, but other than that we would choose elsewhere.

I like to stay here when traveling to Sac because it's clean, quiet, safe, and comfortable. One issue experienced this time though is our TV didn't work, it had a locked mode in place. We tried calling the front desk multiple times only for it to ring nonstop and not provide an option to leave a message. So I begrudingly got dressed and walked down to the lobby to see if we could get some code to unlock it, waited in line for assistance. The front desk said all they could do was move us to another room. But since we were already unpacked and settled with our dog asleep, we asked if we could just stay in the room but get a discount or something to compensate us for the trouble. We were promptly denied without any other options provided. I was a little suprised and irritated by the response. Even a $10 credit would have been enough. That to me is poor customer service, especially for a repeat customer and Marriot member. But overall, I would probably stay here again based on location and fair price.

The black woman behind the counter at 2am was the best she went above and beyond to get me settled in when she seen I was having a horrible day I wasn’t supposed to check in till 4pm but she’s made the calls herself to Expedia and fixed it for me , we were cold and wet stuck in the snow on the 80 so we made it there and got a good night sleep and a good breakfast

When we asked for a room away from the freeway we were to told call our third party vendor by the check in person. The beaakfast was not available before 6 am. It’s 10 minutes away from downtown Sacramento. Quiet neighborhood. There is an in house restaurant and bar and a good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. I just hope there is an elevator because it will be difficult to go upstairs if one has a heavy luggage.its a two story so in general its ok. My son helped me with the luggage.

Everything was great until Someone Violently Broke into my Truck and stole my Brand new suitcase with EVERYTHING for my 10 day Hawaii trip!! All my jewelry,clothes it all! I raced to the front desk and Begged them to please look through their security cameras!! The front desk guy did Nothing! Said Security just Left! I've been meaning to call you guy,the hotel and police! Though had to race to catch my plane with only the dress on my back! This is costing me Thousands of $ to try to replace my stolen items!!!!! Something could have been done! Why have Cameras of you don't use them!!!?? Very extremely upset

Loved the layout with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a kitchen and living area. It was very roomy and met our family’s needs perfectly. The staff was friendly and check in was smooth too. It was right off of I5 and even though our room was close to the freeway I didn’t hear any noice from traffic

The gym is not a gym! It has treadmills one bench and dumbbells. This is not a gym. It’s way too small. There are no mats no foam rolls no bands, balls or bozu’s… the breakfast is disgusting horribly unhealthy, no organic, no bananas, no organic teas it’s absolute garbage They also charge $10 for parking, ridiculous for a motel.

The property was hard to find. Google Maps did not have good coordinates for its location. We only found it by driving around. Eventually, we found a couple of small signs in a shopping mall parking lot. Even the entry road had NO signs to identify the property.

The property is a bit worn but it is clean and its location to downtown and the north and west sides of Sacramento is excellent. Easy and quick access to freeways. The two-bedroom layout is great for privacy, with the common area in the middle and bedrooms & bathrooms off to each side. We didn't choose to use any of the dining facilities because they were minimal in quality of food. The staff members were excellent--always wanting to be helpful.

My one complaint is that if you're on the ground floor, you can hear people moving around upstairs quite loudly/easily, It could just be that I had noisy upstairs neighbors though. If you desperately need a good night sleep though, I'd recommend an upstairs room.

AC worked very well. The doors are pretty thin as I could hear anyone outside our room and we had a few loud conversations happening, but none while we were sleeping. We had a few issues while on our trip and they were accommodating and so kind while we figured it all out. Would definitely stay there again and recommend. Breakfast was so so good, one of the best free breakfasts I have ever seen.

I love Residence Inn, and I look for it every time I travel. Pros: Comfortable, clean, spacious room, very kind and helpful staff. Decent amenities nearby, including a pizza place and Brazilian BBQ. I was traveling for business so it was nice to have a good desk space and comfortable chair. Cons: I take good care of my car so parking is always important to me, and the stalls in the parking lot are SMALL. Get one near the edge if you can. Overall it was a good stay.

Our Stay at Residence Inn was very nice. We were greeted by friendly front desk staff and the rooms were quiet and cozy. The breakfast was awesome, too! The only two items we weren't happy with was being charged for parking and how hard it was finding this hotel.

She has the most caring and heart felt customer service that I have ever came across. I travel quite a bit, and I experience different types of people all the time. If everyone was half as polite and hospitable as Natisha, we would all be just fine. Thank you, Natisha. Overall, I feel safe and home like every time I stay. The staff are all great. The one downside is the awful restaurant. We ate there our first night. The service was poor, the food took ages to arrive despite there being very few people eating. Three of our meals were lukewarm at best and the fourth meal arrived as we were finishing the other three. We were not offered cutlery, and napkins only arrived when we were halfway through the food. The food itself was overpriced and poor quality. Do yourself a favour and eat at one of the restaurants that are a two minute walk away. I highly recommend happy hour at the nearby Mexican bar/restaurant.

Property is quiet & safe

Unfortunately, the front desk evening staff was not welcoming. When I asked about the VIP benefits she chuckled and said the food and beverage credit were for the bar only which was closed when I arrived. There were a couple of other issues she was passive aggressive about. She found joy in being that way. The morning staff was pleasant though.

Check in was easy. A little tricky to get to since it’s located behind a plaza and next to an empty lot. They just need better signage leading to the hotel. Clean, spacious for 2 people and a pet. It had a full kitchen which we didn’t use but definite plus for future booking. The sofa was comfy big enough for 1 people to sleep. Sheets and towels were crisp clean white. AC was working well. Bed comfy. Pretty good Breakfast was included. I Will recommend this hotel for its location, easy check in, cleanliness, and the size of the room.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool, I think buoyed the kitchen, I made steaks for dinner, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are ready to use in the suite. The customer service was amazing. We are making this our go to spot to stay when visiting my dad.

The hotel featured a 24-hour gym, decent sized pool/ hot tub and fresh pool towels. There were plenty of seating. There's a few propane grills in this area. A mini fridge and firepits. Also a half court basketball court and tennis net! Ioen til 10pm. Great space for entertaining and a major bonus when traveling with young sports enthusiasts. All outdoor areas were kept clean during our Labor Day Weekend stay. Breakfast buffet was served between 7AM-9:30AM and was amazing. Bacon, eggs, sausage sandwiches, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal bar, shredded cheddar cheese, fresh salsa, bread box, milk, dry cereal, nutella! Items were stocked throughout. I'd definitely stay here again. No complaints.

The room was clean. The staff was kind. We didn’t end up having breakfast but it looked good and the coffee was good.

When you frist get there you are like where am I gm they are kind of hard to find ,. They need a larger sign. My room was very clean, and my linen did not have any staining on any of them. The dishes were also just as clean. We went walking a few times around the building also wr t for a few swmi. That was also refreshing. The front desk employees were the best I can't remember the lady's name she had just started 6 day before we had checked in. She was so helpful and understanding. It was a great pick to stay for a last minute trip. :)

Property is looking a little tired in hte bathrooms and furniture. Have stayed three times and the rooms varied but all are showing some chipping on dressers/vanity end tables - tub bottoms.

The property was very conveniently located, tucked away behind a small shopping area with several food options. It was also very conveniently located to be able to access major freeway and other major roads but not close enough to create distractions. The only thing I was not aware of at the time I booked was the 10 per day parking fee, which I do not understand as this property was basically an apartment complex with plenty of parking and not set up like a regular hotel lot nor did it require street or garage parking. Perhaps it’s a California thing. I am not sure. However, given the complementary breakfast, free wi fi, and the safety factor of the property, I would say it’s a small price to pay. Only other thing I would comment on is that there are no elevators (which is clearly stated at time of booking) and was reiterated to me at time of check in when I requested upstairs. Lastly, I have stated in multiple hotels and rooms over the last several months and always hear some sort of noise. I never heard a peep out of anyone else, and I know for certain there were other people on my floor and in adjacent rooms. Great place!!

The place is excellent. It’s spacious and clean, with full kitchen amenities. It also comes with free breakfast buffet.

$10.00 for parking is absolute BS!! There’s nothing in the compound EXCEPT the hotel! They take $250.00 “additional deposit, because I used a 3rd party booking”… The room: the tub was stained, the drapes by the bed need to be cleaned. Further (this may seem petty but considering they decided to take a $250 deposit I wanted to protect myself.) so I took an inventory of everything and in counting the silverware. I noticed there were only 3 forks, ( i’ll be damned if I’m going to be paying for a fork when it wasn’t there or accused of stealing a fork) so I had them come and the service person actually brought 3 more forks, while inspecting the tub & he took pictures. Other than that and the towels are incredibly poor quality, if you are a loved one has sensitive skin to having a harsh of abrasive towel across your body. I suggest you bring a few from home… Other than those minor concerns, the hotel itself was nice. The pool was fantastic. There were an abundance of people in the pool, but there was room for everybody to splash and play and run around and little kids rent joining themselves, the hot tub seats only five, but I can tell you there were at least eight people in that thing, but none of them seem to mind. There is a fully functional barbecue grill there’s two of them. We did not avail our self of it but it’s nice to know that it’s there. Breakfast was bountiful, and hot items WERE HOT!!! In short, if I were to return to the area, I’d stay there.

The Staff was inexperienced. Bartender had never had a job or training as one and had no clue on the simplest of Drinks. Someone tried to kick the door in my unit in. Ande staff minimized it and wrote it off as "Domestic" Incident. When this was someone I did not know. I am not from Sacramento. Checked in alone. I literally was in fear of my LIFE!!

Spent quality time with family here. It had all amenities to prepare small meals. Breakfast was awesome. It has nice swimming pool. This is right in middle of all attractions. Room was sparkling clean. It’s was a pleasure to stay here.

The fridge was loud and hummed all night. Staff kept asking how many people we had in the room when we asked for more towels. We had 6 people in a two bedroom suite and they only wanted to give 6 towels at a time. But with 3 adult women and 2 little girls (all with long hair that needed to be washed) we found it to be quite ridiculous that we were asked why we needed more towels every day that we requested more. Staff was rude. We will not be back.

Breakfast was fantastic, a little crowded in the set up but overall good. I wished they had a broom and dustpan available in the room as there is no carpeting and we had two little ones with us. I would like to have swept up after snacks etc.

driving into the property, it felt like google maps made a mistake but it was just in an odd location behind a strip mall. breakfast was more than decent. the lady that works ij the cafeteria was AWESOME! super helpful, friendly, and hardworking. we arrived pretty late (around midnight) and the front desk lady was not happy. she made me feel like i was inconveniencing her!

I was impressed that this hotel actually was better than the photos. It seems to be a converted apartment complex, so our unit has everything we needed at home. The cleanliness was top tier in every aspect of the space for my two kids to freely roam. Front desk service was great and the breakfast was excellent.

I booked thru Expedia and had to cancel my stay due to a family funeral. I spoke to two front desk employees who confirmed my cancelation and waived all penalties, but said I needed to call Expedia. The room we were given was awful. The entry way had footprints on the tile that looked permanent. The floor was sticky. There was a huge spider in the bathroom and another type of creepy crawlie and a fly. Just yuck. Won't go to another one of these hotels.
