Flew in to attend my daughter's wedding, so was hoping that every aspect of my stay would be pleasant and memorable. And it was for the most part. Red-eye flight into SAC arrived much earlier due to flight change so I was hoping to check in to my room earlier and was told I could for a $25 fee. Instead, I chose to pass the time at a park. Room #202 was clean and smelled fine. Had clean linens and towels. Had a small refrigerator and decent size screen tv. Didn't have an iron, which I could have used in preparation for the wedding. Cons: There were a few threatening looking dogs (I saw two coming our of a room) attended by persons who might have been there on an extended stay, not sure. In general, it was low key and quiet during the night. To any business owner I would say, Be fair and accommodating as possible. Take pride in what you do and make it the best you possibly can whatever it is. Then true success will follow.

If the room states NONSMOKING, please make sure the room does not have any strong smell of smoke. When I entered the King bed size room - that is nonsmoking, the room smell was very unpleasant and I had to keep windows and door open. My clothes smelled like smoke after staying in over night. The fire alarm was also not present.

The front looks like they are closed due to the MASSIVE gate system they have up. I had to drive by it 2 times then I finally noticed that is the Hotel I booked. Outside, poor condition due to the Gate coming in, inside good condition, clean and nice inside. That night around Midnight, a car was blowing their horn for awhile waiting for someone to open that gate, that woke me up for awhile. The room still needs work, i.e. Air Conditioner, I had to use a chair to turn on and set up it up. No reachable controls.

Kind of felt like pulling into a prison yard with the solid gate at the entry. We got an ADA room because we needed to check in early and it was the only one ready. There was no closet, or anywhere to hang clothes, no dresser to put clothes in, ice bucket but no cups provided, or complimentary coffee. No blow dryer for anyone who needs to dry their hair, so if you're someone who does that don't book here, or pack your own! Honestly, motel 6 is a better place than this, especially for the price and lack of ammenities.

It was just ok. The staff was nice to us, and the room was clean. However, there was no shampoo or soap in the shower. That was true for all three rooms I rented. Parking is secured because of gate but lacks security. The room was not clean and the supplies were simply replenished from the previous people staying. I actually had to grab my own personal cleaning wipes to simply wipe down the counters and fridge that I was going to be use for our stay. The floor was not cleaned but simply had been swept.

This was one of the worst places my husband and I have ever stayed. We just needed to stay one night before driving more than seven hours home, and it was so bad we got dressed and started driving by 2:30 a.m. There was a constant dripping water noise that kept us awake. We first thought it was the extremely loud HVAC system, but after we turned it off we realized the noise was coming from behind the building. We made the mistake of using the shower, which resulted in more dripping water after it was shut off. There were rude people staying nearby that had their children running outside past midnight. Don't stay here.

Terrible on everything, enough said. There shouldn't be clumps of long hair dangling from door hinges, toilet paper twisted into peep holes, over 25 min to check in and you're the only one there because the person checking you in can't quite balance a huge tablet to get a proper scan for payment or ID and then feel like youre walking into someones house to find no one manning checkout (I left after waiting 15 min, keys on desk). The area itself is sketchy and I higly recommend avoiding this place even more so if you have kids, it just doesn't feel safe despite the gate they shut at night and only way in is to call a guys phone to open.... he didn't answer btw. This is a last resort just above sleeping on a park bench

I arrived at 9pm and the gates were closed, with a phone number on the gate to call to have it opened. When I called and gave my name, it was immediately opened. While this was a minor inconvenience, I appreciated the extra security for the many parked vehicles. Overall it was relatively quiet, convenient to downtown fr an 8:00 a.m. event and served its purpose.

It overall, was a decent experience. The room was pretty basic. I didn't get one room service visit from housekeeping. The room just had one little desk off to the side, the TV was really small, but I really liked the privacy of having a separate shower room. It looked like someone had salvaged it from a homeless encampment. Unfortunately, we checked in late in the evening and we were exhausted, so we just sucked it up and hoped the mattress protector was waterproof and sanitized. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled like it had been smoked in for decades and as soon as the AC kicked on, the old cigarette smoke smell increased. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted at the front desk and asked for my ID which I provided. I checked in and was charged $185 which I believed was the security deposit. The next morning, I checked my bank transactions and noticed I was charged $100 for a security deposit and $85.74 for the room rent even though I booked and payed in full through Expedia. Before checking out I brought the concern up with the reception staff and provided them with my receipt through Expedia and the bank transactions of the $100 and $85.74 charges. Immediately I explained I already payed online through Expedia and the staff then called the manager who told the reception staff to issue me a refund. I was told I’d be getting a refund and left. About 10 minutes after leaving the hotel, I received a phone call from the reception telling me that the charge of $85.74 was in fact correct and it was the rent for the room. Again I explained over the phone that I already payed through Expedia and they’ve charged me $85.74 for a room that I already payed. Nothing was being done over the phone so I decided to return to the hotel to confront the staff regarding the issue. Upon arrival I again had to explain the issue and show all my receipts and bank transactions. After an hour and a half of back and forth they finally gave me a refund and began telling me I was getting a free room even though I paid through Expedia. The staff seemed very unknowledgeable of their system and confrontational

We reserved a non-smoking room; however, upon arrival, the room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. The overall cleanliness was poor—the sheets were stained, and the room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, there were not enough towels provided for the four of us. We also noticed the door latch was missing, which raised safety concerns. On our first night, emergency responders, including firefighters and an ambulance, arrived at the property, further adding to our discomfort during the stay. Overall, I would rate this stay a 3 out of 10. Due to the issues with cleanliness, safety concerns, and the overall experience, I do not plan on booking here again.

Bathroom faucet was broken and showered water all over bathroom; and sink was missing a stopper. There were some kind of biting bugs beneath seat of plastic chair. I was bit behind knee. On checking the Manager asked me to pay a fee for “security”. Neighboring room occupant told me the parking area was unsafe at night and advised me not to go outside my room at night. Check in was good, but upon getting to the room we noticed the window was wide open without a screen so my husband did a walk thru before my son and I entered. The nightstand shelves were dirty, the floor was swept but definitely not mopped (sticky stuff on floor) in the bathroom there were dirty wash cloths hanging on the curtain hanger. Definitely not the cleanest place but it was quiet and we just needed a place for sleep.

The stay in the room was brief (one night), and i just dealt with the leaking toilet and the crack in the shower floor. Also neighbors were loud. On top of it i was charged for the one night stay through the garden, and then also a second time through Hotels.com. so all and all i was double charged.

Extremely dirty hotel rooms. We found long black hairs all over the pillows, dirt on the furniture and the rooms smelled like urine. We rented 2 rooms and they were equally dirty. We complained at the front desk and they gave us new rooms but they were dirty as well. We were frankly disgusted in the Cleanliness of this hotel.

First room we were put in the bed had stains and under the covers had tons of hair left from either a previous stay or the cleaners. We were promptly moved after bringing it to the managements' attention but the new room 109 did not fare much better. First and foremost there was no smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector in the room and the window latch was broken so in the event of an emergency blocking the door we only would have the option to break the window. As for the state of the room... the top sheet still had stains, there was barely any water pressure, the bathroom countertop was leaning so heavily I was sure if I leaned on it that it would collapse. Whole room reeked of cat and due to the broken window we couldn't vent the room out.

Not really any amenities. No hair dryer, phone, or coffee in room. Water was nice and hot in the shower. You are on a noisy street at times with the sirens but they didn't bother us to much. Parking lot is gated off at night which made us feel safe leaving our car while we attended a festival.

The room was not comfortable at all. Mattersses were vvery used. sunk in the middle. The talble was kid size and old. Room smelled of musty water. The sink in the batheroom was small and the legs holding up the vanity were rusty metal poles. The shower curtin didnt reach the floor so the bathroom floor was soaked after a short shower. No water pressure at all. Only plus was pleanty of hot water. Would not recommend at all. No coffee pot , no hair dryer. Nothing on the property either to purchaes from a vending machine.

I actually stayed at both properties and had equally weird experiences, but the Stockton location was not clean. There was a raw sewage smell that I could not locate, and the staff was unavailable when I wanted to switch rooms. When I went to shower, I noticed thick black hair on the walls and floor of the shower. Then ai pulled a towel of the rack and it was covered in thick black hairs. The. The next towel, then the towel after that. I dried myself with a wash cloth. Pillow cases were clean, sheets were not. Slept on top of covers and that’s when ai noticed the pillows smelled like cigarette smoke. I asked the clerk on check out about the smell and he said, “oh yeah, someone left something that room and we can’t find it”. Yikes! What? I felt so defeated by the whole experience, I didn’t even want to ask for my money back because I felt like I deserved it somehow. Not a recommend

Was first given a key for a room that wasn't cleaned yet. No biggie (got a different room). Unfortunately the room had people upstairs that spent 2 hours the next morning (6-8am), getting ready to leave, pacing loudly. We were at a late night event, so were hoping to sleep till about 9am. We ended up just checking out early. Also, there was a leak through the light over the toilet, so toilet water was dripping down. Overall, cheap room, pretty clean, felt safer with being gated. Was very convenient to the event we attended as well. Get a room in the single level, not in the back, and you should be able to get more sleep and not have toilet water drip on you.

It's a NIGHTMARE. I am Not sure how this place is open for business. Expedia should do well check prior to posting businesses. Do NOT book here for your safety. I don’t leave reviews on places, but after experiencing three room switches due to dirty, stained, eye lashed sheets, with the final room having blood stains on them, I had no choice. I refused to sleep there and immediately got the hell out. The front desk guy said the owner is furious and people will be fired but you can tell this has been going on a long time. If you value your safety and don’t want to catch some unknown condition, DO NOT STAY HERE

Very sparsely furnished - one small table and one small counter between beds. A few small roaches. AC was so noisy it was unusable during the night. Person upstairs made virtually no noise, but it sounded like an elephant moving around - poor construction. Security gate kept hotel guests safe, I guess, but very unappealing. Commercial area badly in need of urban renewal.

I only booked here and stayed because it was the cheapest option for that weekend , and still at $160 a night - I wanted to scream. My key stopped working after the first night. To get into the property after a certain hour you have to call for them to open a gate, felt like a prison. I will not be staying here ever. The pics are very misleading, the room looked nothing like what they show. There’s no art on the walls. No chairs at the tables. Room feels like a prison cell.

Let me just say that this trip goes down in the books as one of the most epic failures on hotel stays. All the good reviews had to have been lies or friends of family. The hotel is in a terrible crime ridden area, the hooker 2 doors down from us was nice but a very unwelcome sign due to her open facial lesions and healing road rash up her inner thighs. Toilet seat covers were shelved open in the lobby sitting area, leftover microwaves discarded in the corner. Staff were oblivious to what rooms were available, he left us in the lobby to run across the parking lot to talk to the house keeper for over 20 minutes. There was no phone or alarm clock in our room, light bulbs were left broken in their sconces. You might wonder why stay correct? We werent able to cancel our reservation and the event in town sold out all hotel rooms under 500 a night. This place was 220 a night which Im still trying to wrap my head around. The finale was getting back to the property at yhe end of the night, locked out of a metal spiked fence. We repeatedly tried a broken intercom on the fence, then a key card entrance at the gate that was also broken, leaving us to scream for help over the fence hoping someone would hear us. We made enough commotion for the office person to come out to finally let us in which felt like over an hour.. This place should be ashamed they are operating like this, lying to hopeful guests.

It was a good value. It is in a secure location behind high rolling doors so it feels safe even though the outside neighborhood is not very attractive. The room lacked cups and there was only one chair for a 2-person room, but I'm sure if we had asked for more the front desk clerk would have been happy to help us. NOTE: their website said "We're Closed Indefinitely" but the front desk clerk responded that they were indeed open.

I like how there's a security gate to prevent shady people from coming in and someone is always there to answer and let you in. The parking lot is very spacious; one way in and one way out. Our room was clean and I even checked for bedbugs and other um, fluids and chemicals w/ my black light The room could use more tables or racks to put your bags/clothes on. There is only 1 table and it's rather small IMO. Next to the AC unit is an large empty space which a desk could be put there. The bathroom was clean but it lacked plastic cups if you want to use that to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth. The built-in shampoo and body wash in the shower were unfortunately empty --thankfully I came prepared and used my own. The room is basic and gets the job done. The bed is medium firm and my gf and I slept well on it

Except for the bed, fridge, a tv hanging askew on the wall and the aircon that couldn't be turned on, there's absolutely nothing in the room. I had to pile my clothes upon the fridge because that was the only alternative to just dropping them on the floor. There were no spare comforters for me to use when temperature would drop in the night time and I couldn't use the air con to warm up the room, for it just wouldnt turn on.The place looks nice from outside, but quite empty inside. The general impression was that this business has just been bought off of a bankrupcy auction and still needs development. The satff was nice and welcoming.
