Excellent, kind staff. Helped us get in contact with the right people to track down a lost wallet at a prior stop—@ 2:30a.m. We are most appreciative! Provided goodie bags for the people and pets. Overall, a wonderful experience at the end of a stressful 1,000 mile drive.

The price was triple the normal rate due to the graduation at Virginia Tech. It's ridiculous.

My wife and I got into town late so once checking in we both were excited to get some rest. However, once we got upstairs to our floor it was extremely hot and clammy. In our room specifically our thermostat read 85°. Our AC was completely turned off so we both had to go to bed sweating. I did turn the unit on to 60° and ran it all night. When we woke up this morning the room had only cooled down to 78°.

Upon arrival the check-in was very easy. We were greeted by a wonderful lady who told us about the hotel & amenities that are offered. Room was spacious & clean. Breakfast was great & got us started for our long drive. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was really good and the facility itself is really clean I didn't like how I felt the staff dismissed my concerns. I had the AC set to 68 and running for an hour when I left for dinner. When I got back, within 30 mins I noticed the AC still read 76. I called the front desk who I felt dismissed my concerns because they were aware with their problem units and no one has ever commented about the AC in my specific number. That may be true, but that doesn't mean they stay that way. Didn't offer to send someone up, or reset it. Just asked I called them back if it was still an issue. I ended up falling asleep as close as I could to the AC unit and when I woke up it was still in the mid 70s.

Breakfast looked good, many options, including tiny omelets! Coffee tasted good and strong. Bonus! The cost - I ended up paying $160+ for want is really an average room in an average hotel. I think a price point of $100 per night is much more in keeping with the quality of the room/ hotel.

Kimberly was extremely friendly upon check in after driving 12 hours. Answered questions and provided 2 doggy gift bags filled with treats and toys. Clean spacious room. Prompt refills for breakfast and lots of choices. Convenient right off the highway. Not much for anything to do right in the immediate area but not too far to things.

Property was maintained pretty well. The staff was super helpful. I would stay there again. Rooms were pretty updated ….but for a hotel that excepts pets I don’t think there should be carpet in the rooms

Breakfast was good. Waffles, eggs, bacon, apples, bananas, oranges, and fresh brewed coffee, etc etc.

We thought the breakfast was wonderful, alot if choices. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud and although it was recently updated, the room could have used a small couch or similar.

There was a bank for plugging in electrical items that have been pulled away from the wall and the wires just left exposed. I reported these problems to the desk club the next morning. She didn’t act that interested or really apologize. I’ve never had a hotel that did not offer something, the least little thing, for such problems.

This was a midway stop on our way to Florida- right off the highway- housekeeping could be better - but overall was good

Difficult check-in. Couldn't find our prepaid reservation. Had to pay for the room again. That took over an hour. Booking.com immediately refunded my money A+ for you

The cleaning crew was very loud. The did not take in consideration someone would be sleeping during the day as a night time employee, banged things against the walls several times. Did not have customer service face or mentality when you walk past them.

The room was nice, comfortable beds, excellent service at the front desk but won't be going back. Bathroom floor was dirty. The bathroom floor and molding around the bottom of the floor looked like it was never cleaned.

I have stayed at this property multiple times on my travels back and forth to Florida. It is a beautiful property but it is beginning to show significant wear. The staff are delightful and attentive but I hope the management stays on top of maintaining to property so it doesn't continue to deteriorate.

Parking was safe and close to hotel.. I had to leave early in the morning because I was having surgery.

Hotel was great and clean. Rooms were nice. Check in staff member was all alone both times we checked in and stretched thin... would really benifit from having more than one person there after hours, especially because after hours was between 7 and 9 in our case, not all that late to still have two ppl there.

As a disabled person, the first issue arose when there were no luggage carts. I physically can't get my luggage without one and their begrudging solution was to wheel out a filthy dirty linens cart to use. Gross. While trying to just check in, the clerk clearly had better things to do and, in fact, grabbed her backpack and left the hotel in the middle of check in. When we finally managed to get to our room, the beds were both sagging in the middle. All in all, this was one of the rudest and worst hotels I've ever experienced.

Breakfasts were wonderful, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful.

Perfect overnight stay after a 3-night hike! Comfy bed to rest before heading home. Breakfast was delicious!

Very spacious room with many flat surfaces for suitcases, and other travel needs. Breakfast variety was very good, and the staff in the breakfast room was very accommodating in ways we haven’t seen before in most of our stays at other hotels.

Good stop for college tour

When I booked I asked for a non adjoining room on the first floor l. Upon arrival I was given a room on the second floor which wasn’t a big deal however it was adjoining and handicap accessible and dirty. I immediately called the desk and inquired and she stated the room type I requested was unavailable. I find that hard to believe because I checked in approximately 3:45pm and the parking lot was empty. Throughout the remainder of the day the place started to fill up with guests checking in so what she told me an about my room type not being available was total bull! I have stayed at this location many times over the years but most likely my recent stay with you was probably the last. Be honest and don’t lie to customers as I travel frequently and know when I’m being lied to!

Cons - Condition of room wasn’t highest quality, Broken off pieces, stains on lower part of walls by bed. Room was an end room on 3rd floor - figured maybe because we had toddlers they put us in the room that’s maybe the lower end of their usual standards, but we were fine with it because we have toddlers with special needs and they can get loud. Check-out lady (8/30) was not the most courteous. Seemed like we were a bother to her when I asked for a receipt for business reimbursement. She said Hotels.com will send me a receipt - but when traveling don’t have a printer. FYI - the pool is not best for laps or swimming as an adult. Was great for kids.

We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and very helpful! Our room had enough space for our family of 5 and our kids loved the pool! The pool is small and has a little too much chlorine but it was great size to keep our 3 nonswimmers contained and not have to worry about getting to them fast enough if an emergency occurred!

The bathroom sink was backing up with water and the bathroom baseboard was heavy with dust….made me think about the rest of the room. When I was explaining to the staff member while checking out, It seemed like the person didn’t much care.

Not a good stay. Have a total of four rooms in this hotel. Had to ask them three times to clean my room. Today I finally told them if they didn't clean my room I was going to check everyone out and go to a different hotel. Front desk response was okay that's fine. Come back to my room right now while they did make the bed and empty the garbage they did not vacuum as there is still stuff all over my floor. I even opened the shades before I left to make sure it would all be visible. I guess that is not enough. I've never had to fight at a Marriott to clean my room. One of the people who work here was very nice and accommodating but she works in the evening I feel bad giving a poor review because none of this is her fault. But the rest of the desk people suck. Simple as that.

Perfect stop between PA and NC. We stop here time after time to let the kids swim as we take a quick overnight break from highway travel. Breakfast included, dogs can stay, and polite staff. Great pizza joints nearby deliver too! 👍👍
