Needs remodeling floor was dirty

The stay wasn’t HORRIBLE but it definitely wasn’t great. When we got to our room there were old clothes from previous guest in the drawers…on top of that we needed clean towels and they had nothing available. The worst part to say though is that there were some very suspicious people walking around and peeping through my truck window-I’m not sure if they were even guests. I thought the neighborhood was good but it’s actually kinda bad, so don’t expect a relaxing night. Everything else was mid though, exceptional stay but not worth visiting again.

Do NOT book here! It was dirty! Trash in the bathroom floor. Horrible smell. Less than half a roll of toilet paper. Two bath towels for a room that sleeps 4. The person at the check in window didn’t want to give us anything else. I should have known to run away when it said all over the check in that no refunds after 15 of checking in!

The room reeked of smoke, the bathtub had rust all over it, no toilet paper was provided, needed to get a new key everyday. Overall terrible experience, will never comeback.

Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean. It needs some repairs and the blanket was as thin as the sheet, but no complaints otherwise.

Worst experience at a hotel ever! The surface of the tub was coming off. The sealant for the sink applied incorrectly. There was a hole in the curtain so someone could look in the room at us! The sealant on the back of the sink counter dripping down. When you walk into the bathroom area the tile was sticking up and could cause an injury if someone hit their foot or toe on it. The smoke detector was missing! The towel that you used for the bathroom floor had holes eaten almost through them. The person that checked me in was not friendly at all. When I checked out the person I spoke to about ALL the problems said “The room was clean wasn’t it?”

There seems to be no avoidable maintenance made at this building ever. In two of the three rooms we rented, the lights didn't work, on one the door handle came right off, and my microwave stopped working. The ceiling lights have been removed but the opens shells are still there. The shower is uncontrollably hot before 6am and steady cold after 9am. All dealings with the management are through a small crack armored glass window that make communication virtually impossible. The vending machines are still labeled but have long been removed. But by far the worst are the guests staying there - every night they shouted and screamed on the walkways in front of the property. Every night and all night long. And with management holed up in their mini-fortress no one could address the issue. Despite the good price, the large rooms, and the decent location, I would not stay there anymore.

I arrive had a reservation and they had already rented one of my rooms.They said they would give me a rebate and still got charged the same amount even though one room was smaller and not what i had reserved.

Nice and helpful staff

The staff at this property are very kind. They have someone on staff 24 hrs a day and never hassle me before check out time. The property and furniture are a bit dated but it’s clean and has reasonable pricing. The best part…No bugs at all. This is my short notice, go to spot and they haven’t disappointed me yet.

Dirty sheets and shower, lots of the furniture had lots of splatter marks all around, TV broke (stopped working our first of 2 night stay).

The hotel is in need of an overhaul. The water was scorching hot in the sink and shower. We couldn't adjust the temperature. The sink water pressure was too high. I ended up all wet. The washing machine wasn't work. The a/c took several hours to cool the room. We went down to talk to the front desk, but no one answered the door.

The paint was chipped, the door's locks didn't feel secure and the bathtub was awful other than those few things it was okay

The shower was discussing. It looked like it had mud backed up in it with cracking paint chips you would stand on all on the shower floor. The bed was like sleeping on Jello, extremely mushy. The overall condition was like a fish cabin on the beach shore. Parking lot in front of my door was covered in cig butts. The AC and TV did work fine.

Worst hotel I’ve been in. Loud and dirty. AC had dust coming out of it. Bed was itchy with bed bugs. Tv didn’t work. No shower head in the shower. Only thing good was it was slightly cheap

Overall not a bad stay. The knob on the inside of the room would come off. But overall I got what I paid for and what I needed. I would recommend the TVs get an upgrade to something more recent to be able to connect the latest video games consoles and laptops to. Yes they have HDMI inputs, the TVs are so old they don’t pick up the latest in 2025.

Short family trip needing lots of rest. Your hotel provided just that.

The room was bigger than I expected. Slightly dated, but clean and comfortable. It included a desk with a lamp and chair. There was a good-sized couch, coffee table, refrigerator and microwave. The AC and shower worked great. The lamp between the two beds had USB ports (very convenient) and the beds were comfortable. The staff was kind and accommodating. I checked in late and left early with no problems. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and will likely book again in the future.

Is not a 7 out of 10. Is more of a 3 out of 10. The bed was not great, some new things in room, but room overall pretty old and smelly. Dog was barking at night in next room :( TV did not work on 2nd night. Very plain. Floors felt dirty too. Old towels. Thought this one would be better in SA compared to Amarillo location. Was a little better, but will not be staying here again. Motel 6 is better.

Its cheap its quite its convenent. You get what you pay for no frills normal hotel with ac bed tv and shower.

Room needs some attention. The bathtub was really dirty the bathroom door would not close and only warm or hot water was available.

Room had a damp smell and didnt have any handicap accommodations after I expressed my needs...

Well this will be my second review of this hotel. I left early today around 2:00 a.m. because when I was going out to walk my friends to their car, there was a man with a trach in his throat and he charged at us and started spitting at us trying to hit us. I continued to call the front desk terrified because my children are in the room. Front desk asked me what they were supposed to do. I asked you I called the police or do you. Can you please send security to find out if everything's okay outside. I'm afraid to go outside. They can tell you tell me well. I guess I'll call the cops but I don't know why I should because all the traffic is because the only people that went through my room were my family members. I went to the hotel to have a wonderful evening and spend it with some friends and family. All I ended up doing is getting very aggravated and made to feel like I was a problem by the front desk. They would not use my itinerary three different times so I had to cancel my reservations and go through virtual calls that lasted hours because no one wanted to cancel my reservation without a fee. I would have never go to this hotel again. They don't even want to keep you safe. I don't understand why no one want to call the police if someone was spitting or attacking their guest. Beware they don't care about their clients or their safety or the safety of their children?

Everything was great at the property but the staff that runs the building refused to use my itinerary information so I lost money on my hotels.com. plus I had to cancel the reservation and go through a whole long virtual call just to get my money back. What is the point of making a reservation? If you will not let us use the reservation have to get our money back through our cards. I think it was impossible to have a reservation year. I try to stay for a week but decided it was just too much for me

My wife was in hospital so i only slept there arriving around 2200 leaving around 0800. I spent 2 nights. The linen, towels were clean. Bed was comfortable, desk clerks were nice. I will use them again.

Room was clean everything ok, until i went to take a shower. The knob didnt work and water was super hot. It would of been a great stay but only that.

Sheets were stained and had hair, and they weren’t even properly placed on the mattress. Had to ask for different pillows. Don’t stay unless necessary.

It smelled bad, like a backed up sewer. The pillows were terrible, they had no support. The area where the hotel was located was nice. The rooms need to be updated.

This was one of the worse experiences of my hotel life. The staff doesn't speak English. The TV in our room dint work & they refused to give us another room. The A/C went out. All in all. Terrible experience.

Mixed on this place. It had stained and very thin linens/towels, but not “dirty” So it gave the feel of dirty. A/C was good Beds were firm and comfy. I slept pretty good. Window was cracked but “fixed” with glue/clear sealant? Arrival was not particularly friendly- given keys through a drive thru small glass window. Price was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

Room was very clean and appeared that regular maintenence nce was done. The power outlet options were a little challenging to use. The website needs to update the info regarding having breakfast as this place does not and that is definitely something we take into consideration when choosing lodging.

For the price well worth the stay. Walls are thin and tubs are old but the area is very quiet

Not at all up to date.

The room was dated, bathtub stained, towels stained, but smelled clean and felt clean. Staff was friendly. We are a family of 3 , stayed in a king suite with a pullout couch. They would only give us 3 towels and when we requested sheets blanket pillows for the couch, we were questioned about why we needed it. Basically paid for what we got.

Given the cost it was about what I expected. Very basic, semi-clean, some maintenance issues. It was ok for me for two nights as a cost effective stay. But its not a place i would take my wife or family. It's all about expectations. If you have low expectations, it will probably be ok.

A lot of noisy people in that hotel

The stay was about as expected for a money friendly option. Don't expect perfect rooms, but no major issues arose during my stay. Only thing of note was the lack of a main room light source (needed to use lamps that were present for light bathroom/sink lights). Shower also needs a little bit of time to reach a good temperature (otherwise it would be too hot).

The bed was comfortable and the sofa was comfortable as well.

They were the nicest people in the world

I asked for a non smoking room and walked in and it smelled like smoke! Then the remote didn’t have a back or batteries.

Cheapest option in the area, so maybe not bad considering the cost. But the furniture is old/dated. The bed sheets & pillowcases had a couple stains. Most of the electrical outlets didnt work because they had no power and/or they were loose so the charge blocks just fell out. The place smelled like mildew. If you are okay with all that then this is a decent choice if you want to save money.

There were also no restaurants in easy walking distance to grab a quick breakfast, so be prepared to drive a mile or more for food.

Exterior property was spotless

Ok for the price. Was clean, but room could use some fixing. Base molding loose at entry to bathroom and weather stripping worn out under door allowing cold in.

Ive been booking my stays at the Atria and from my first experience that wasnt so good to now my 5th return is most definitely satisfied i even got an upgrade on my rrom from owners for showing their compliments to me for booking w/them all my visits..Thank you Atria!!

Th Electrical outlets could stand some improvements other wise the comfort and convenience was very satisfactory. Have recomended to others.

The bath area was nice. The tub could be replaced, but functional. They are still doing renovations and they said it will soon be replaced. I wanted a hotel close to the hospitals and this one is approximately 3 miles which was great for us. Property is in a safe area and quiet. Hard to beat for the price and location.

Very affordable

It was convienant literally down the street from my daughter... also where i used to reside close to a convienant store right next door to the WaterHole sports bar for if you want a drink can literally walk.The motels a little outdated but has a comfy feel to it. Has a few roach bugs but didnt see those till my second night there didnt make a big deal cause being i reside and resided there im well aware of the city of San Antonio's roach infestation so their not the only hotel w roaches..the price was good especially for 2 nights... the lady and Raj i guess the GM were really nice ppl..thank you for the prompt and kind service..

The Atria Inn & Suites offers a clean, large suite with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. It’s somewhat dated but for the price, it’s a deal. The front desk staff are wonderful. Always super nice and accommodating. The location was perfect for my needs and above all, no roaches. I enjoyed my stay there very much.

I enjoyed the high vibrational energy of the establishment. I believe it’s managed by new owners. They are very friendly and always happy to help. The price is also a great deal if you’re working on a budget. Will definitely be back and do recommend.

Walked in and saw multiple bugs on the floor. Took pictures to show the receptionist and luckily they agreed to refund me, so that was good at least.

I believe it's a family.Owned and run business, but whoever they are, they are very pleasanteasy to deal with accommodating.And I would highly recommend personal raw decent stay piece and hotel in a good price

The tables in my room had not been wiped down in awhile I had to wipe them down my self they were very dusty!!! Extra towels and pillows would of be nice! Other then that it was ok! I would stay again

i like that the staff dont storm through the door before checkout time.Their not pushy and dont hold everyone accountable for the things others have done in the past. I also like that they dont invade my privacy while renting a room they are not i guess for lack of a better word nosey like most of the hotels that are family run!!Thank you atria. I've been staying with these people for about 5-6 years now and i can appreciate that they have maintained it so well

This place was dirty, in all aspects, missing accessories, room smell like humidity, sofa bed in bad condition, one lamp was not working, no extra paper towel, tower for shower not enough, fridge dirty curtain shower dirty, if there was. Way I can get some refund, or some credit would be nice

I like that it is pet friendly. The room was clean and tidy if a little fraying/worn look. Which was fine with me. I didn't see any bugs or roaches during my stay, thank to the maintenance of the hotel. The staff is accommodating when able as well ]as pleasant.

There was supposed to be a coffee pot in the room, when there wasn't and I went to ask about it, I was told that if there wasn't one in the room, then the room just didn't have one! So they don't even know what room has what. The people in the area are sketchy. After being checked in for all of about 2hours, the FIRE DEPARTMENT was called out for a fire in the microwave in the room next door!! Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else! This place is trash.

The bathtubs in both our rooms had peeling paint, rust in the tub bottoms which looked dirty.

For a bargain price motel, I was pleasantly surprised at the good condition of the room. Better than I expected, and I would stay here again.

The walls are paper thin. Do not bring your kids they will listen to couples going at it all night long. Our shower tub ceramic was peeling off. Also, I'm pretty sure there must've been some kind of suspicious activities above us as they were dragging things above us all day and night. The girl at the counter was nice though.

I had no shower curtain the hand towel was dirty with make up like it was not washed.

Smell of smoke

Poor physical condition. Bathtub enamel peeling badly, smoke alarm didn't work, ants in our son's room, electrical socket by desk didn't work, gaps around door, coffee maker with no carafe, Sharpie and crayon drawings on our son's walls, no plug in bathtub (had to jerryrig a styrofoam cup as a stopper to take a bath!), housekeeping "only if you ask for it." New owners, so hope they can get the place up to snuff.

Quite frankly not sure how this place is so highly rated. This is a cheap 2 star motel. The location is fine and the people that worked there were nice but that’s about it. The room was falling apart. Paint coming off the wall dents in the door damage to the walls and trim. The room was not warm or inviting. I wouldn’t stay here again, not even if I was by myself or just passing through.
