Courtyard by Marriott Medical Center San Antonio

Nice hotel, very clean and spacious rooms. The parking is easy and the Bistro is really good. Although I didn’t use the pool, it was nice looking and was lit up with different colored LED’s. It was a cool effect at nighttime. The room was overlooking the pool from the balcony. The staff is extra helpful and made my stay exceptional. I would definitely return.

I like how clean it was. How hot the rooms were! Even with turning down the AC, it was still so hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. I tossed and turned majority of the night.

I have stayed here a couple times now, because I needed to be at the hospital for appointments. It's convenient to the hospital, tons of parking, you can walk to a bunch of places for dinner (though the Mexican place that's closest is mediocre at best), the staff has been fantastic every time I've been there. Really no complaints! The only "complaint" I can come up with is that the TV is set up to be watched from the couch. So if you're in bed and want to watch TV, you can rotate it... but it's still at a weird angle. That's literally the biggest issue with the rooms!

The location and the staff were so helpful. No complementary coffee. We had problem with the toilet not filling up, so we had to take the top off and fix it.

IN TOWN FOR A MILITARY EVENT AT LACKLAND AFB DRIVE 25 hours, NO ONE INFORMED ME IF I HAD TO LEAVE EARLY I NEED TO GIVE A NOTICE OR THE HOTEL WOULD RETAIN A FEE OF 129.00. It just not a way to handle playing customers of over 25 years!

Very courteous staff, quiet area, excellent bed and amenities, convenient location for medical care, easy access to shopping and great restaurants.

Only the location of the hotel. Was charged a smoking fee $295 even though i didn't smoke inside the room. There was no Safe Vault in the room. Housekeeping attendant did not cleaned the room properly and the bathroom had moldy smell. I was also charged for a bottle a water $6 that I had NEVER consumed.

First time staying at this location. Beautiful property, Great location, lots of restaurants close by. Rooms were super clean and very very nice. Staff was super friendly at check in and checking out.

Was charged a smoking fee and didn’t discover it until a month later since I never received a receipt or was advised of such charge. When I called they advised me housekeeping supervisor had documented the smell. (We are not smokers) called to speak with them she was never available since she was the one I had to speak with. Still having to fight about the charge.

It was good ! The mattress was a little soft! But everything else was good!

The staff was excellent in the front and they approved my reservation on Expedia to be canceled as I needed. I had reserved a week out and I needed the room the moment I was there in the front. The manager booked the reservation for me that night and I had somewhere to stay without getting double booked. I will continue to stay here every weekend I come to San Antonio, Texas!

The staff was nice and the bed was comfy The room was outdated! In the bathroom looked like paint over mold, hair in the shower and the bathroom had a strong smell of urine.

Lots of restaurants nearby. Overall a good stay. Need firmer pillows. Other than a large dog barking and howling a few doors down at 8am not a bad stay. The man running the Bistro was great. He was by himself and very busy, but clearly communicated with us about how long food would take to come out. He had great customer service. They probably should have had help for him seeing as it was spring break. Rooms were average but the price was good for 2 nights.

Staff was very friendly as always, room was clean for the most part. Only thing to critique would be the shower head. It definitely needed a good cleaning or possibly replaced. Location seemed to be a safe environment with restaurants and gas stations all in reasonable distance. Overall had a very pleasant stay at a very great value. Will be returning in future

ROOM WAS FINE EXCEPT FOR BLACK MOLD ON CORNERS OF SHOWER. ADVERTISED FREE BREAKFAST BUT WHEN I WENT OUT 2 MORNINGS AT 6:45 THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST AND ONLY COFFEE WAS FROM THE STARBUCKS THERE. ALSO DROVE BY AT NIGHT AND COMPLETELY MISSED THE TURN AS NEITHER MARRIOTT LIGHT ALONG THE ROADWAY WERE LIT.

The girl at the front desk at check in and at checkout was amazing. She made an effort to get to know us and was extremely respectful. We stay here every time we have an appointment at the transplant hospital. This visit was a very short one but as usual we enjoyed it.

Needed to be at the hospital for a couple appointments and didn't want to drive back to Austin each day, this place was quiet, clean, and I could walk to grab some dinner. Not much to complain about. The mini fridge was loud, so I just unplugged it and then plugged it back in before heading out.

The bed was great! That’s the important thing. Staff was great as well. The in-house Starbucks is good but limited - all in all a great value for the money. Whenever I’m in San Antonio, I will I’ll stay there.

Easy check in process

We sat in the bar and had a drink. A group came in from a work conference and was enjoying themselves, not making much noise at all. A staff member approached us all saying we were too loud that they had a noise complaint from the 3rd floor. We went to our room around the corner and could not hear any noise coming from the bar area. We later found out there was a sleep study going on, on the 3rd floor so the staff member just wanted us to be quiet. We were all paying guests as well and found it rude that we were asked to be quiet

However, one of our rooms had a serious ant problem. We counted over 60 ants throughout the room — on the sofa bed, around the baseboards, and even on the tables. Unfortunately, two of us were bitten multiple times. This was very disappointing and made for an uncomfortable stay. AC units blew really cold! But when set to 70 degrees and above it felt like the heater was in full effect.

This hotel is super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Chase Mauldin that went above and beyond to be sure that we had everything that we needed for a very nice stay.

The stay was good but the only complaint we had was that there was no complimentary hot breakfast.

The inside the facility was nice and clean. The only thing was the bathroom was not cleaned up to standards. Hair was everywhere in shower. The staff was friendly and nice. The only thing is the outside of the facility needs to be remodeled it looks like an abandoned building.

Hotel was very clean and spacious. Just the smoke alarm went off for the entire hotel the night we stayed. The first floor going to the gym/pool smelled like smoke. Other than that my family and I enjoyed our stay. Would book again and I recommend it for families.

We were there for a medical procedure and this was a perfect hotel, 3 mins from the hospital, clean, and good service from the lobby staff. If your in the area for anything medical this is the hotel to stay at.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. There was no clear indication what was wrong. All of the guest went to the front lobby and we were left standing there waiting for answers. A fire truck did come so obviously something occurred. No one ever offered us any explanation. Eventually we were told to go back to our rooms but no one ever explained what happened

Elevator was not working. Fire alarm had a malfunction around midnight and had everyone waiting. We asked for queen beds and got double. Staff was nice but having a brown ankle and having to walk two flights of stairs was inconvenient and painful. Then the alarm malfunction people panicking and elevator not working and stairs packed.

There was a flood in central Texas and we couldn’t check in and would like a credit for future room or refund for another time please.San Antonio been flooding for a few days 27’ rise in the river.

While relatively a good price point the property is a little run down. The beds are little too soft and the pool looked like it needed maintenance. The couple of times we went to the lobby for coffee there was no one attending their counter. We were welcomed by Chase who was very personable and courteous and the cleaning staff was friendly. It wasn't awful, but a few upgrades and maintenance could make it better.

When we checked in, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming! They made me & my 6-year-old son feel right at home.

Staff was very friendly upon check in. Located in a nice area with lots of stuff around, but location itself was isolated and not super easy to locate.

First of all big thank you to Chase Mauldin for the amazing customer service. You truly made our stay special. From the minute we arrived to when we left. Everyone had amazing customer service and an a smile on there face. You dont see that often at other hotles. The hotel and our room smelled so clean. Was nice to know law enforcement is always parked outside or around the area. Makes you feel even safer. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for everything.

For the price you can’t beat location just sucks

We reserved this hotel for being pet friendly, when I reserved there was not mention of a pet fee, I would not mind a reasonable fee but the room rate was $223.42 including taxes and fees, When we arrived they charged us another $150 pet fee tax, only the pet fee was the same as a whole room night! $177 so the total the night at not even close to luxury hotel was $400 dlls. Also when we finally made it to our room after a 12 hours drive, the room was not clean, beds undone and bathroom dirty, at 11:00pm when check in is 3:00pm. All this for $400 dlls a night... So no, no happy and won't ever go back.

Check in was smooth. You can tell the property is dated but definitely not a deal breaker. After getting to our room we noticed the room was hot! Like how am I going to sleep in here hot! After changing the settings on the AC manually to the lowest setting we gave it an hour to cool off and still no relief. After going back to the front desk I was told that they were sold out and couldn’t change our room but they would have maintenance come check it out. They never did. The bed was comfortable though. The entire hotel needs a deep cleaning. The carpet in and out of the room hasn’t been vacuumed in months! The towels were clean! Would I stay here again? Only if I have to just bring honest. Oh do not use the coffee pots in the rooms only God knows the last time they’ve been cleaned/seviced.

Property was convenient to major parts of the city, which made it readily accessible for meeting up with family and friends. Staff was courteous and responsive.

I liked that my friend and I were given rooms next to each other. I liked the opportunity to be able to park right next to our rooms. But my friend was very upset that there was NO complementary coffee or breakfast pastries. For the price of each nightly stay, you would think that fresh brewed coffee would be available. Making your own in your own room just isn’t the same at all.

For the price we paid for one night, I expected a decently cleaned room. But there were pubic hairs stuck to the bathroom door, the same door that wouldn’t lock. Hair on the shower floor. Most first floor guest room doors had visible gaps between the door and the doorframe, you could hear everything. Toenail clippings between the nightstand and the bed. Just overall disappointing. Desk clerk was nice though.

There were some people in the hallways who were really loud, that made it difficult to get to sleep.

Loved how easy it was!

There was almost a party in one of the rooms near us, it was 12:30 in the morning and they were still shouting and laughing. We reported it and it took them almost 40 minutes to shut up. There were also clothes hanging on the bathroom door of the room.

We stay here due to outpatient surgery scheduled early in the morning. 5 minutes to hospital was perfect. Comfortable room, great bed, quiet night. Very happy with our stay.

I thought there would be a buffet breakfast but there’s none. Food is also pricey. Other than that, the place is clean and comfortable.

The place was very clean and well kept. Everything worked (which is more than I can say for other places). It also had the added benefit of being situated close to all the good restaurants and spots in SA.
