The room was dusty and bathroom had rust around the outside of the tub, walls were dirty. Breakfast was amazing, Manager was not helpful.

We were placed in a room with a leaky faucet. I tried to overlook that. Though we cut the air conditioner off because the room was too cold for our liking, the air was cut back on automatically and was extremely cold in room and very uncomfortable. Our total hotel stay for room including taxes should have been 502 dollars for a three night stay approximately, however, due to a family emergency, we had checked out the following morning, but was still charged a total of 415 dollars. The charges included a 70 dollar parking charge and an early check out fee fee of 75 dollars. The room was only 202 dollars a night. I understand that things happen but having little regard to customers was unacceptable to us. We had travelled 4 hours to try and celebrate our anniversary but had to leave early for the emergency. I would not recommend anyone to stay at your establishment. I enjoy staying at Embassy Suites every time we travel out of town... however we are highly disappointed.

My wife and I went to a concert that was in San Antonio and stayed here 2 nights, the staff was amazing from the moment we checked in. The room was clean, spacious and everything we needed was available to us. Well worth every cent. Would stay again!

Rooms have lots of space. We enjoyed the happy hour and the breakfast. I wish check-in was sooner than 4 pm. The rooms are expensive so it would be better if checkin was at 2 pm for example without having to pay extra.

My husband, our son, and I had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk Downtown. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the River Walk, restaurants, and attractions, making it perfect for a family getaway.

The breakfast was above my expectations. I love the fact they have a cocktail hour for the guest and even the kids can enjoy some snacks. I didn’t like the valet parking charging you $60 per night.

I loved it! Staff was so nice. My room was in a perfect spot, high up, corner room, exactly where I wanted with a balcony. The couch smelled funny, the bed was too hard for my back, pillows are a little too fluffy. i have the worse back ever! Other than that. Everything was perfect!!!

Great hotel on the Riverwalk! We enjoyed our stay. From friendly & courteous staff to a super clean & nice property, good area...convenient to the theatres, shopping & restaurants. The breakfast is fantastic and the dinner service with complimentary drinks is a very nice perk. We would definitely stay here again!

very nice and beautiful lady that checked us in, she gets 5 stars! breakfast was good, I really wanted biscuits and gravy which was not served the mornings we were there. Beds were made, trash emptied. Only disappointment was our toilet paper was not stocked! I had also seen another guest asking the front desk for toilet paper!!

I stayed here for 1 night and overnight valet parking. when I checked out I waited 45 minutes they said they didn't take my car ticket and couldn't find out my car key and my car. Their attitude is like I'm not their customer. I'm so angry..they agreed to find a car for me. I never come back again.

The location in relation to the tourist attraction, especially the riverwalk, was great. The view from the top floor suite, fantastic. The complementary continental breakfast and cocktail hour, wonderful. Since the room is a suite, I criticize the tired paint on the bathroom door and the shower fitting needing an extra tightening to stop the water from flowing. But I’d rent the room again if I return to San Antonio

Had no vent in bathroom, had to ask for blanket for sofa bed. Room had a funny smell. No pad or pen in room.

The room was clean. Desk personnel were helpful. All facilities were clean and in good condition. Proximity to the Riverwalk / Alamo/ dinner options, etc… are excellent. We had a great time and loved the venue. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in San Antonio.

My family deeply enjoyed the layout of the hotel room, the fogless mirrors, the large space, the helpful service from all team members, the delightful food from breakfast, and extremely fast service from valet. It was a seamless and easy process. I don't even think I waited 2 minutes for my car even though I didn't give them a notice beforehand. 10 out of 10

Great hotel in San Antonio on the river walk! Breakfast and happy hour were included every day. Thorin and Amber took such great care of us at breakfast which was delicious with cook to order omelets and a nice buffet too. The room was spacious and very comfortable.Amber was so knowledgeable about the area and things to do. We really enjoyed our stay.

Every time I took a shower the would so loudly within the walls that I was afraid it would wake up other people in other rooms. No room service at all. My room was cleaned once in the entire. The workout room looked like an afterthought. I stay at Hiltons often, but would never stay at an Embassy Suites again.

Not good when it is warm weather. The beds are not comfortable. Front desk at check out was not friendly and rude when I asked for a receipt. For the price point and compared to other Embassy Suites this hotel is below average. I won’t stay again when we return to San Antonio River Walk.

All was well put

Very clean and inviting from the lobby to our room. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful with a special thanks to Vanessa who was very helpful in helping us stay for some extra time since. Our flight was delayed. Definitely four star quality maybe even a five because of the staff. Also, the staff in charge of keeping the included breakfast tidy and well supplied as well as the clean up were five star in service. They seemed sincere in providing stellar service and were very kind.

We loved the location of the place and the breakfast was great! They had happy hour for 3 hours long, really enjoyed the free drinks and the snacks. The towels were a bit rough after a shower and the sheets for the room was all torn up. The thermostat took forever to kick on and the room didn't have enough soap.

Except for having no view of the riverwalk from balcony ( main reason for booking) everything else was great! If you need a view, you need to stay at higher level and need proper angle but you might not just not get that! I walked to the balcony just to be disappointed! Besides that, clean and good breakfast.

Valet only charge per night. I surely didn't check for that and $75 deposit per night. Nothing fancy they only charge for the view but there's more modern hotels at same or better price.

This hotel is located in downtown San Antonio along the Riverwalk allowing for easy, walkable visits to various downtown locations. The staff is super helpful and professional. Gilbert & Fay are world class hosts! Ideal location with the walking distance to riverwalk. Even if you’re going to Fiesta Tcas (Six Flags) the us a great choice. Valet is pricey. Breakfast was solid and enhances experience l. Would have been perfect if my room key didn’t keep needing to be replaced due to not being able to open.

This hotel is great but there is no direct river access from the hotel. So yes you may see the river from most rooms but this hotel does not have direct river access. So if you want to walk out to the river from your hotel this is not the place. The staff is great though.

Every thing was perfect

We had a 2 bedroom suite, The rooms were modern, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was great, fresh, made to order eggs and omelets in addition to the buffet and the location is perfect for walking to everything. Parking is expensive but there are 2 city lots within 2 blocks with inexpensive 24 hour parking.

The room was nice. Great location right on the Riverwalk. Loved the happy hour with snacks in the lobby!

The room was a large suite, as expected. There were things that could use some work. The carpet was stained and crispy, which was disconcerting. The pillows had no support whatsoever. Otherwise the room was clean and the staff was exceptional! The location is great because it was a short walk to everything, but far enough away from the noisier areas.

We ordered a room with a pull out sofa for the 3rd person in our family. It was definitely not comfortable.

Shower soap dispenser was empty. Non existent wifi. Worst of all, toilet leaked through the handle and flooded the bathroom. I was able to fix the toilet but had to clean the flood myself and looked like mold inside the toilet tank. Expressed issue with front desk and only received Towles. No offer of discount or comp stay!

Great hotel! Very clean and staff was very friendly, but their only parking option is $65/day Valet… Ended up parking in the City Tower parking garage (i think it’s called that. about a 5 minute walk) for about $10/day instead.

Beautiful hotel, we went to view the Christmas lights on the Riverwalk and they were great. The hotel is great just a couple of areas I was not happy with. Parking was not advertised as valet only at $70 day because we had a larger vehicle. Options to park were a bit of a walk and not so secure. The biggest complaint was the fact that I booked a river view room and wasn’t given one. The manager did not even try to accommodate us, he just kept saying all we were getting by staying at the Embassy Suites. We spent a lot of money on a river view room for the Christmas lights and the didn’t care.

The room had a strong bad smell in it and the tub would not drain properly. Otherwise the room was great. We did not have the time or energy to let the property know the issues, long days of travel and Air Force graduation.

Check in was at 4pm, at 4:30pm had to pretty much demand for a room. Beds were bad. $55.00 valet and at checkout had a 30 minute wait to get our vehicle. Property and location are great! Seems they just need more staff for the size of the property.

The size of these rooms are awesome!! This hotel it’s beautiful, the staff were very polite and helpful, and our room was perfect. We loved the extended times for breakfast and checkout.

When our microwave stopped working they fixed it immediately and my children were able to enjoy movie night at planned. The room was clean and had all the amenities stated on the description. Their breakfast is amazing and allows for our family to prepare and have a true Embassy experience with every booking.

Breakfast was good and facility nicely decorated for Christmas season. Housekeeping very good and timely. Recommend different method for washing towlea as they are scratchy.

La couple of noticeably dark stains on the carpet and several paint chips needing attention kept them from getting a 5-star review. Also seeing the same used/dirty plates abd utensils in the 9th floor elevator foyer was disappointing.

Got woken up at 5:00 AM on vacation from an emergency alert that had us all evacuate down the stairs, staff didn't know what was going on, was a malfunction, no apologizes from the hotel.

Stayed for a weekend during our son's soccer tourney and everything was great Friendly staff from the front desk to the breakfast buffet staff everyone was great.

Overpriced, gave us a room that was not cleaned, hairs on the shower walls, holes on bathroom doors. Overcharged for valet parking which in my opinion should be a free service to customers who are already paying a high price for these dirty rooms. I will never use this hotel ever again...

The balcony was near all a.c units and definitely not peaceful at all couldn't sit and enjoy the view or visit and chit chat. The toilet seat was loose being disabled thats not safe at all and i dont think our a.c unit was was working it was saying we had it at 63° but staying at 75 so it was hot.

Our stay was great! Awesome staff, clean room, and great amenities. The only thing I believe could have been improved was the laundry room. To use the washer and dryer, you need $2 of quarters per machine and quarters were in short supply. I was traveling with my kids so I really needed the ability to wash clothes. Unfortunately, it was a hassle to get change from the hotel or any business nearby. Nobody uses cash anymore. The laundry room definitely needs either a change machine or upgraded washers and dryers that use card instead.

Simply amazing!!! Hotel staff are soo nice, felt very welcomed, will definitely stay again on this hotel for my next vacation to San Antonio.

We give it 3 stars because on our first night we were assigned to a handicap accessible room on level 2. The room had no hot water and the 2 shower heads spewed water all over the floor. If you were handicap this was a safety hazard for sure. If you weren't handicapped, you would be from falling. The 2 shower heads had such strong pressure that water also went into the carpet. Which then caused us to sneeze all night. Night 2 we were moved to another room on level 8. The remote controls did not work for either television. So what to do? Nothing. Sit in quiet and listen to our thoughts. We were only comped the 2 nights of valet parking. BUT ... the staff and breakfast were amazing.

Breakfast had good choices but mixed fruit seemed to have old watermelon mixed with unripe cantaloupe and honeydew was ripe one day but not the next. Berries would be a great alternative. Egg station was very good. Lack of flavor options for coffee was a surprise.

Breakfast menu was just ok. Room needed pain touchups everywhere. Shower head was too low for a normal sized adult. Valet parking was overcrowded and wait times were long.

It was a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious. Loves the balcony view of the river. However, the room was so damp even the carpet felt damp. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. They only had one roll of toilet paper for us with 5 people staying in the room. We had to ask for more. Couldn’t find any linens for the pull out sofa and asked twice for them but never did get any. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was too cold to enjoy swimming in on a mid October night with temps still in the 70s. Valet parking was easy and convenient, but way overpriced. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Loved the full breakfast every morning. Loved the location and the walkability of the area. Especially loved the view from our room!

Breakfast was good and had a lot of variety Good location Nice staff Resolution to issues Cons: We woke up to find a cockroach swimming in one of the cups we used the night before (see pic) Some of the towels that were changed on our last day smelled like cheese/cheetos and it lingered on our skin. Not sure if the towels were folded before drying out completely or if it was moldy.

Had to switch rooms because there were bugs in the first one. Manager could have cared less.

I enjoyed the breakfast. They have started renovating the hotel and i stayed in one of the renovated rooms which were excellent. I really enjoyed the 2 bedroom suite since i was traveling with teenagers. Overall excellent property.

Overall the stay was not bad but not great. We found underwear in our view and the tub had mold which made things uncomfortable. The best part was the breakfast and the spread made a semi uncomfortable stay turn into an okay one.

A quick overnight in San Antonio to see a band play downtown. You can walk to every thing. Great helpful staff. Drinks and food were good. Would stay again!

Parking was higher than it stated on the website so if you have truck expect to be charged 65 plus taxes for valet and expect to Be charged a deposit of 75 additional to what you paid for room upfront also the room had a ugly musky smell like wet carpet I didn’t like room smell at all

One of the best experiences I have had while traveling. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, i forgot a book and they saved it up front so I could stop by later to pick it up.

We loved this hotel! The building is so nice inside and the amenities like breakfast are great. The location is perfect. The employees were nice too but l would prefer receptionists looking at me while interacting. I wasn’t sure if they were talking on the phone to someone else or to me when l was actually communicating with them because they weren’t looking at me but their desk. Also, we had some car noise from the parking lot at night, which is maybe unavoidable as our room was looking at the parking lot. Parking was 60 dollars for one night!!! Overall, I was very happy. Will definitely go back!

Overall - a great place to stay when traveling with a family. The spacious rooms saved us from needing two hotel rooms. This is just outside the busy section of the Riverwalk, making it quiet.

Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Restroom tub was filthy. Paint is peeling on the entrance door, a used sock was left behind, a used flossing stick was stuck on the living room curtain. AC wasn’t blowing cold air upon arrival and the tv remote wasn’t working due to a battery had exploded

Front desk needs improvement not very professional for this hotel. I have stayed at other Embassy Suites and have had very different experience. The check-in clerk not customer service friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and really enjoyed it.. next trip we will be choosing a different one. Side note the bartenders at the Range were phenomenal.

Overall, excellent service, great parking and terrific room!

The hotel is within a easy walking distance of the alamo and the down to riverwalk entertainment. The room was clean and the breakfast was great with a good variety of options

Right on the River Walk

Valet did not tell me how to text to have my car brought around so it was ready when I came down. Valet Service to park is $60 per day, ridiculous. Check-in staff never provided internet access via wireless which is not free, had to call front desk only to find out you either join their club or pay for wireless. Hello, is it 2025 or not... We stayed here for our Grandson's Air Force Boot Graduation at Lackland AFB and it's close to the river walk. If I was taking a vacation, would not stay here.

Our bathroom soap dispenser screws were hanging out of the wall, the 3ft tall metal vent plate fell off the wall and onto me when I was adjusted the curtains, the pool was tiny, missing lots of water and very murky, and someone left a breakfast place + other food near the elevator and it sat there until at least 8pm when we saw it again. Do not recommend this hotel.

However, we did not like the fact that they did not have luggage carts ready or even available to assist in transporting luggage to and from our room upon arrival/departure. The bathroom water was warm at best and the restroom & water fountain was not working by the fitness center & pool, so I had to take the elevator from the 3rd to 1st floor just to go or hydrate.

Corner suites are my favorites room.

We booked this hotel because of the wonderful rating. The staff are wonderful but other areas of the hotel were ok. We had cold water our 1st night coming late from Schliterbahn. We had 2 rooms with 2 vehicles that were charged 55 a night for parking, which is fine if I didn't have to wait 20 mins to get my vehicle. Again valet guys were wonderful but the small driveway gets backed up very quickly, so 55 a night is not worth the price tag. Housekeeping never came by even though I called twice to the front desk who assured me they would be by. We were staying 4 nights, so service is needed for at least trash pick up. There is always a very long line for the elevators, we used the stairs since we were on the 2nd floor. The consistent good experience was breakfast, it was wonderful, the kitchen staff were amazing and kind. So overall ok, but we probably won't be back.

Nice hotel centrally located. 10 minute walk to many surrounding attractions. One bank, 4 total, of elevators (not all were working) for 16 floors. Breakfast was good. Parking was expensive!

Embassy suites was wonderful. I will definitely make this my go to hotel for San Antonio trips in the future. They are very responsive to your needs. They have a fantastic breakfast (including and omelet bar!) and an evening reception with snacks and drinks. We all had a wonderful time and with a large group having the 'suite' style (separate living room for pull out couch) was perfect.

That said, I did want to share one disappointment during my stay. The level of housekeeping service fell below expectations. I checked in on a Tuesday and checked out the following Monday. During that time, my room was only serviced twice, and both times required me to specifically request it — once having to follow up with the housekeeping manager directly. Specifically: • Wednesday, I left the room around 10 a.m., removed the privacy sign, and returned at 4 p.m. to find the room untouched. • Thursday, I proactively requested at the front desk that my room be cleaned before heading out at 10:30 a.m. Again, upon return, it had not been serviced, and I had to speak with the housekeeping manager to have it addressed. As a regular Hilton member, I’ve come to expect a higher level of service and attention to detail, and this experience was a bit disappointing. I appreciate you taking this feedback into consideration, as I do enjoy staying at Hilton properties and hope to see improvements at this location in the future.

Great stay, besides the wasp nest i destroyed on my balcony room. Everything else was wonderful.

Everything was great aside from two things. The pool was not heated as mentioned in the property details. Lastly, the toilet in one of our rooms leaked and produced a mold smell, coupled with an extremely long, wait for the tank to refill.

First time I have to much trouble in this Embassy. Hilton app never worked, room keys didn’t work either, swimming pool was dirty, only two elevators we’re working and it was a big line to use the elevators.

It was beautifully located. I just didn’t like that they don’t tell you ahead of time that you have to pay for valet parking. I don’t mind paying but knowing ahead of time would’ve been nice l. And they charged me twice for my room but I’m sure they will resolve that.

The room was a great size for my family of 5. My kids all loved the breakfast buffet every morning. There was an issue in our room the first morning we were there. Something no one could control. But the staff was quick to address it and put us in a new room quickly as well. My husband's only complaint about this hotel is there is no hot tub. My only complaint is there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. But those are such minor complaints. We would definitely stay here again. It's a beautiful hotel and very friendly staff.
