The floors were very dirty

Room was dusty, dead flies like nobody had used the room in a while. Sheets did not look clean. Not enough towels to shower even though I put how many people would be staying. It has a stovetop but no utensils, pots pans. The basics needed to cook. Overall would definitely it stay there again.

There was a smell in the room, a bug on the wall, the door was hard to open, there were holes in the sheets, overall just disgusting. Wasn’t able to get a refund since we booked though Hotels.com. A waste of money, we left an hour after checking in and got a different hotel. We COULD NOT sleep in that room!

The staff was friendly, the room was updated and in good condition, the price was reasonable. Most of all, I would stay here again.

The bed was broken, made horrible sound every time we moved. Could not figure out the Roku tv to watch anything. Upstairs people were very loud. Won't be back. Check-in service was great though.

And I have to request a new sheet and I did mopped the room myself.

This hotel is always very accommodating with my travel and stay. I stay here every year for 19 days and the owners know and understand my needs during that time. My only complaint this year was that I received a room upstairs and it was difficult for loading and unloading 19 days worth of stuff into the room. That was also my fault for not requesting a downstairs room on the original reservation. There was also a mix up in the beginning during check in due to a malfunction of the key lock on the original room, but this was resolved.

TRAFFIC TOO LOUD! Couldn't watch regular TV as it's a roku so we couldn't watch any TV. Still waiting 4 days later for my $50 deposit to be returned. definitely won't be back.

Great place for the price. Let's be real, this is an inexpensive hotel so, if you are looking for for the Hilton experience, you will be disappointed, but if you can live with cheap TP, no tissues, and tinny bath towels, its a bargain. Everything worked, didn't smell like cigarettes and anything else for that matter. I would stay here again.

This place surprised me. I thought it’d be a dump. Nope! Clean, carpet less, big fridge, and non-slippery textured tub. The AC was cold and they have shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispenser which is great for the environment. The only odd part was the lack of a hair dryer and the random girl that asked if you were checking out from her yellow sports car. I was a lil worried about that. I was asking myself who did I just give my checkout keycard to??? This place is a great, budget friendly place to stay.

The price was very reasonable because actually we were just looking for somewhere just to go after we finish dinner and partying and lay down and go to sleep and then we're back out of the room take a shower and get cleaned up so we actually weren't in the room that much but overall we can't complain it was it was nice I do not want to leave out that the television had every channel you can think of all free movies and shows all Netflix Etc and you just can't find that in motels anymore so we were very pleased with that

Very nice, clean rooms as well as comfortable beds. The only bad thing I would say is the room had blinds and not curtains so in the mornings the daylight would shine right through the windows. But since we just stayed one night it was fine because we had to wake up early to check out.

You need a $50 deposit before paying for your hotel which was not mentioned until after I confirmed stay. They provide ice in the ice machine. Doesn't have a mat when getting out of the shower. For those that need a blackout curtain they have none but I still was able to sleep. Plenty of parking. I enjoyed my stay.

Had to ask for clothes iron, no blow dryer in room or facial tissue. Stuff you expect in hotel rooms on regular. No excercise amenities or pool. Had to look for a YMCA near by. It was clean in obvious places. They need to clean places that are not like outside of tub,box frame on bed, and some corners of bathroom and walls.

I love the proximity of this hotel to the SA rodeo. It truly helps with my volunteer activities throughout the month of February. The owners have really taken the time to remodel the location and make sure that it’s in a better state than year’s previously. You can tell that they are doing what it takes to better the area in and around the hotel. My only suggestion is potentially adding curtains to the windows in each room due to the bright safety lights outside when it’s dark and the sunshine that comes into each room through the blinds. This would really help with the over all comfort of the stays.

It could be better for what I paid.

Dirty floors, bugs in bathtub, stranger knocking on door at midnight, people up all night outside, no blackout curtain to block outside street lights, no elevator, and basically no tv since you had to use your own prescription streaming services. I was not about to log into my accounts on another tv and public wifi.

I like the place for the price per night is worthed. But paying a deposit almost every check in it seems not right. Wierd rules!

Booked through hotel.com arrived at property and the price was totally different. Charged a $50 incidentals deposit which is normal. Don’t smoke or drink left room in same condition except dirty linens was charged the $50.00 fee

Was good for the purpose, just to stay for an overnight concert. Room was clean and ready by check in. No fuss to check in and easy to get to downtown area.

Dead bugs. Phone didn’t work. Smell like urine. We bought bleach and it throw foam all around the floor. TV was operational sometimes. I understand it was an affordable price but it doesn’t excuse their lack of cleanliness.

No phone, no Kitchener’s , was not cleaned properly.

Clean and tidy. Amenities include a microwave, full size refrigerator and our double beds. This is great for an extended vacation or rental.

False advertisement on the pictures on the internet! The pictures looked nice and they only showed the front of building where the office is. So I Called to verify if it was a hotel and not a motel and claimed to be a hotel and as we pulled in it was clearly a motel. Looked awful just from the outside. Couldn’t get a refund so we just hoped it was better in the inside just to get some rest before we hit the road again. The pillows and sheets were supposed to be white but looked 20 years old, dingy, and definitely not white. The lamps didn’t work or the microwave. No curtains to cover the blinds so felt extremely exposed. The fridge and ac unit we’re both extremely loud. Tv had only 8 channels and the wifi was not good and barely worked. The tub had hair in it along with the bathroom floor. All the towels had stains on them and were not clean. I gave them a smell for maybe benefit of the doubt and they did not smell fresh AT ALL. I air dried after a shower and had to make the tub acceptable on my own. The top of the bed where our head lays was slanted down, very uncomfortable. We left before the sun came up after little rest , slept on top of the comforter btw. I don’t suggest booking here unless your comfortable with what I mentioned in my feedback.

Spoke with front desk did not want to change me a different room, Wanted to Speak with management in the morning, Said he didn't have time for my complaints that my wife & myself just wanted a upgrade in our room. They booked me under some one else and then charged me for their mistake. I also was charged my my 2 day though i only stayed 8 hrs before I was told about this.

This is not the greatest place to stay, but is a good value for the cost. The room was nice inside and it had everything we needed for our two nights stay in San Antonio.

There’s no coffee machine, no hair dryer in the room. Vending machines are not working.

Overall it’s was ok. Pros: great pillows, room was clean, warm shower, cold A/C, parking lot was well lit. Cons: bed was hard, highway traffic was unbearable, no curtains so the parking lot lighting was like daylight all night, no breakfast.

The room was a comfortable size. Loved that it had a small refrigerator and microwave, but would of appreciated a coffee maker. Host in lounge area did not have coffee ready until after 10:30 am.

We had to leave early and the hotel manager was notified the a day early of an early check out for the following day the extra night wasnt needed and we checked out a whole day ealry and still charged for the full stay failed to refund our money

The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, not to mention the squeak of every tiny movement. Dead roach right when we entered. There was a tv but no channel. Had to imput your own log in to subscriptions such as Netflix and Disney plus. Never again!!!

if your looking for nice quiet clean safety inside and out its not the place to be. I wouldn't even leave my car outside alone. I was afraid of being robbed or worse if i stayed here and ended up being robbed by the hotel itself they are not honest in the description they dont tell you the property is in an uproar but they do tell you once you get there and see that you would leave ypur enemies there alone that you wont get your money back.... this company stands for ripoff bevause i was completely blindsided with this Dump

On the surface the place looked decent. Were told rooms was already set upon check in but we walked in to the room and AC wasn’t on. Then, we saw cockroach. Pulled up the sheet and dead bug in between. Game changer. Not too thrill about that.

I waited 40 minutes to get my room, because the woman at the front desk was on the phone. There are no amenities listed because there are none. My room had a lot of ants. After a certain time you can’t even get a hold of anybody at the office. Overall this place is in a very bad location.

Pool wasn't even filled.

First night toilet was out of service and the tub didn't drain. Lots of bugs, possibly coming in through the large gap under the door.

The room was clean and had a full fridge with a sink and microwave which made cooking easier. I get tired of eating out with traveling. The staff were kind and helpful. I had trouble figuring out the tv and they came to my room and showed me what I was doing wrong. It was quiet and I could sleep so well.

The pool was drained, spider webs in the bathroom, food left in freezer, took all night for the air conditioner to cool off the room. Noisy neighbors and was bitten by a spider in the room.

The room was nice and clean don’t get me wrong but first impressions of the outside have you thinking it’s run down and a little sketchy. The thing I didn’t like was they don’t let u know that their renovating untill you find out the next morning early from all the banging and cutting noises.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean ,renovated and the appliances work very well and the property was well kept. The staff was friendly ,It may seem to look setchy but it was safe. Food places and other things that are near by not a far drive.

Room was filled with mosquitos and flies. Also seems like the previous tenants or the cleaning crew smashed flies on the window and window blinds and didn't bother to clean it up. Door to go into the room didn't have a complete seal around so highly possible for more bugs to get in. Will not be staying at this property again.

Pulled up and was like oh man we're not in a good place. The parking lot had trash and random items as well as stray animals. There's an empty pool on site and the neighborhood seems unsafe in general. However, the lau(I wish I remember her name) anyway the lady working at 6 this last Friday night was very pleasant and helpful. She checked me in promptly and we went to our room. The room was very clean and had a modern look and full size microwave and fridge. ...I ended up having an issue in my room and needing a different one, nothing serious. She happily moved me and even brought my daughters shoes she forgot to or new room. ... neighborhood's still sketchy but there place is clean and I slept well. Only thing I missed was coffee in the morning.

Lots of people hanging around all night long did not feel comfortable there with my kids seen lots of people with ankle monitor on them lots of noise all night long

I’ve stayed here muplitple times. I will continue to stay as long as the price is right! Only complaint I have is, there are no black out curtains so the room always has some kinda light coming through the blinds. Weather it’s the street lights or the morning light. Other than that one small thing, I highly recommend it here. Newly remodeled rooms, clean and in a decent area.

The hotel wasn't the cleanest and I think a lot of that is due to the guest that were there. My room however, was very clean and those working to death were very accommodating and friendly. Again this hotel can't get real high ratings because in comparison to hotels outside of the United States at the same price who offer breakfast like they used to they took breakfast away and room service due to covid. Rio hotels figured out a way to get it done. While taking these services away they still charge the same premium price.

It was a very good stay, very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and respectful. I would just recommend softer sheets. I have sensitive skin so they were itchy for me.

We did not check-in or stay. the motel seamed to be under renovation and there were several unsavory people milling about and whilst we were trying to figure out what to do a fight broke out on the second floor so we just left with our children and found elsewhere to stay.

Not bad, they do need to clean a little better. ( dead roach in bathroom). Need more trash can( only had 1 small one). No channel on tv.

When we got there it was around 11:00 pm and the lobby was locked with a sign saying “use night window”, now once I get to the night window we pressed the bell button and no one would answer the window so then we started to beat on the window and we did this for about 30 minutes. Now we just said forget it and went back to the car and as we were leaving I glanced at the lobby and I see someone talking to another person behind the counter, I walked in finally able to check in and once the Hotel employee checked us in he says “cool haha now I can go back to sleep”. Room looked clean the only thing was that it had small flys near the restroom area.

Love this hotel. Updated, clean and friendly check-in. Close to restaurants, starbucks and gas stations. The ONLY complaint I have is that they do not have blackout curtains in the room so the room is bright as the sun by 730am. Other than that, I will continue to stay there when I am in the area

It was a lovely stay! Loved the full sized fridge and little kitchen area and storage space was great! Next time I’ve got my fingers crossed for a coffee pot in the room!

Its under remodel so from the outside it is a little sketchy. But the customer service was great, the rooms were nice and clean. Overall our stay was wonderful and the price was great. Everywhere we were going was within a 15 minute drive which made it even better. Super happy we stayed there we would definitely stay there again. Customer service was A1

Very clean! Also loved that the tv is roku! You can connect to your fav apps. Only thing I wish they had were the black out curtains, the lights from the park lot were very bright so the room stayed pretty lit when it was time to sleep.

Property is in the process of being remodeled so there are construction materials all over. The room was nice, brand new, and the bed was comfy. Lots of people outside too. Didn’t have any issues with anyone, just kinda creepy

The check in attendant was amazing. He was so nice & checkin was a breeze. He knew we were there with our trailer so he even came out and told us where we could park with our trailer. The first room smelt like cigarette smoke so he gave us a new room with no problem & was very apologetic about that. The only issues I had were: room could hv used more lighting, only had a mini blind & it let some light in room, there was a towel left by housekeeping on the back of the bathroom door. There is some noise due to being by I-10 but didn’t cause an issue for us. I will definitely stay here again.

Property is being renovated. It’s a new brand of Red Roof Inn. The room we had was nice, fresh paint, new shower curtain. Bring your own toiletries though, and hair dryer. No coffee machine but had microwave and large fridge. Front desk attendant was friendly and nice.

No lamps inside just the overhead light . hot water wasnt working when we wanted to take showers . wasnt told when we checked in also ... Lots of homeless in the area also . ice machine wasnt working also. They need work on their customer service habits also . was rude when we called asking about the hot water . will not stay there again

From the start, the counter person was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, from the bed to the bathroom and shower. A full-size refrigerator included along with the king-size bed. Not big on bells and whistles, but great value for the price. I will look for them on my next travels.

This is my worst experience I ever had in a hotel. Do not stay in this MOTEL. I ended up throwing my baggage and my clothes. It would be better to stay in my car or any place out side instead of paying for this motel and loosing my new clothes. I got bite by this bedbugs and brought this disgusting and unhealthy bug in to my house. This is an unhealthy place to spend the night or even stay a few hours in there. The housekeeping never showed up. We received a dirty and smelly room since the first night. There were only 2 medium towels and 2 little towels in the room which were never been changed. No one went to clean the room. We had to take out our own trash and use our shopping plastic bags as spare bags for the trash baskets. The rug was stained and there were a lot of food crumbs on both sides of the beds. The tub was dirty and the walls had some reddish mold all over them. The hair dryer was not attached to the wall, every time you have to use it you have to be very careful of not getting electrocuted because it had some loose bare wires. I don't know how this place is operating having Health and Fire risk issues. I am going to complain to the Health Department in San Antonio. Besides spending my money on this unhealthy place I also had to throw my luggage and my clothes because of this infestation. The least Red Roof can do is refund my money and compansate for my cloths. By the way I stayed in room 401 from Thursday night to Sunday Morning.

The room s elled nice; but the bathtub should have been cleaner mold and mildew stains on the walls. Once I started to pull the linen back,bed bugs were spotted.

Looks like this hotel needs a little remodeling. Everything was kind of old and the room was damp. My husband found an earwig in his hair 😱😬

Pool was on the green side in color. Very run down. We didn't shower at all because of the looks of the shower! Wouldn't stay there ever again.
