La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Airport

Staff was ok but our room floor was wet throughout our stay and never dried even after placing towels on the floor because it’s slick. Room at 6th floor.

Staffs were very nice It’s old, too many things needed to fix, AC and bathroom fan make noise, elevator is falling a part, and it is next to highway with highway view, the breakfast was very low quality

Not a thing. This place is nasty, furniture is dirty and torn, bathroom has wallpaper hanging off the wall. Staff was hateful and rude at checking in and out. Dogs were everywhere and they barked all night. Not a safe lay out for going to the room winding halls lots of unsafe corners. .

Fridge froze everything we put in it. Pool was full of insects and debris all 3 days. They said they were having it cleaned however it wasn't for our stay. Would be nice to have more TV stations to choose from. Trash wasn't emptied nor fresh towels/wash cloths brought during our 3 night stay. Window curtain didn't close all the way.

Location cleanness, room was spacey Definitely the lady in front desk. (The one whom work the late shift) She was very rude,short beyond condensate. Not once but twice . I asked her for towels & I guess she hadn't had a good day, only cz I had already paid for the second day if not I would of left the premises, the other time was even worse! Same " Lady"! I loved the hotel & other staff etc..but will not stay in this particular one ,ever again!! It made me feel So uncomfortable having to walk right in front of her with that ugly attitude body wise amd even worse verbally

Location is close to SAT with free airport shuttle. Good complementary breakfast. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Room was a nice size, but smelled musty, floor was dirty and bathroom shower had heavy mold around the base and the hair dryer did not work.

The hotel is in need of an update. The smell when I walked into the lobby is an old smell.the panel withthe buttons in the elevator was loose, someone had scratched names on the inside of the elevator door, the hallway was hot, the window in my room had lip/face marks all over it, my room smelled like mildew. I felt like I smelled like the room when I left the next day.

Very good for overnight for early flight

For the stay it was okay, but the shower was dirty and so was the pool. The elevator floor had a whole in it and one of the wall sockets had a piece of metal in it. But besides that everything else seemed pretty good !

Nice clean room, great location at the airport, and they offer airport parking for a low fee. My only problem was the air conditioner fan was on continuously; I couldn't shut it off, and it was cold! I had to turn on the heat to get the room to warm up on a 90 degree day!!

The hotel was convenient to the airport and downtown! There weee minimal food options available, but many restaurants within a few miles. There was a leaking ice machine, but a minor issue. Overall, a well priced option!

THE PROPERTY WAS WELL MAINTAIN EXCEPT THE ROOM WAS NEVER CLEAN THE 3 NIGHT STAY WE WERE THERE. THE EXHAUST FAN WAS LOUD AND HAD TO BE DISCONNECTED AND THE TOILET FLUSH WAS LOUD AS WELL.

They advertise room service but it is a hoax. If you call they will charge you $5 just to connect you to Grubhub or similar, then they charge you more for the food than the menu advertises plus another extra if you want to pay with card over the phone. It seems like a fraudulent way to get extra cash from you, they should just say call grubhub, doordash or similar on your own. When I told front desk they nodded in understaning, they know this is not right, and they offered free drink and snack from their poorly stocked little shop.

Nice outdoor motel in a nice location with easy access to the free way . The AC in my room was not going below 72 but I just called the front desk and he quickly assisted me in moving to another room. I really appreciated that. Overall good stay.

Stayed in two different t rooms. One was kinda grimy the other was not as bad. You can tell they have updated a few items in the rooms like candies and some flooring but it’s mismatched. I was expecting a higher quality hotel basted on the ratings. The rooms were load and doors didn’t gently close so noise from other rooms or hallways nose was heard clearly.

Clean very inexpensive room right at the airport. It is always the place to stay for a next day early morning flight.

The sign at the front desk, "we do not provide daily house keeping" there was no hand soap in the room. The motel provides in room coffee. It was not replaced after the first day. We stayed for six days. We will choose another motel when in San Antonio next time.

Hot tub was broken one day and comforter was dirty on check-in. Room service only everyother day and towels not restocked.

The rooms smell so bad like Clorox or like being at a veterinarian office , it was hard to sleep the blow dryer was partially working.the water pressure is very low and the water took a little while to go down the drain in the shower for the most part the air conditioning is loud smell and ac hmmm not sure what to do for my next trip..

This is a very very nice place the staff was excellent, very knowledgeable about the airport. The shuttle to the airport was excellent. I was able to drop off my daughter, and then they came back and picked me up back to the Hotel made it very easy to get around to the airport. Breakfast was Excellent also very clean.

Stacey was friendly and our check-in process was smooth and professional. Our rooms were good. Their room service was delicious. We ordered ceasar salads and calzones as it was late 10:30pm. So glad we stayed here. Breakfast options were good too. Good options.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Room was clean and service was superb. Breakfast menu was a standard discount chain fare. None of the three computers or the printer in the business center were functioning.

Staff was the best part of the stay, they were kind and professional and helpful. The property was old and not as kept up as other La Quinta Inns I have visited.

But the rooms needed to be cleaned better. The toilet was not clean and the shelve that holds the soap was dirty as well. The fridge was not working, the hair dryer made loud noises and started to smell like burnt in the first few seconds. We turned it off quickly.

Room smells like dogs as I took my dog to the vet thank goodness I brought Vicks vapor rub and husband brought cologne, I don’t think they realize how dirty the hallway carpets and floors in the rooms are I never eat breakfast just grab hot water to go

Everything was great even security the only thing that wasn't that excellent was the housekeeping ,bedroom floor was filthy they did not mop it. my baby's feet turn dark instantly just in the room. Bathroom little dirty. This place is still nice.

The restroom floor was dirty and sticky to your shoes, musty smell in the room.

Breakfast had a lot of options and space and was nicely renovated. The room was not in the best condition, masking tape holding the countertops together. We also had pulled out the sofa bed to dirty sheets. The hallway we were in had corner guards laying on the floor.

The conditions of the hotel’s amenities are bad. The beds need improvement and may need to be replaced; they are very hard, and they feel like old mattresses. The air conditioning makes too much noise. The first room they gave me had a broken air conditioner, and it made a very loud noise. Then they moved us to a second room the air conditioning was better, but it didn’t cool properly, and the beds were uncomfortable. The room was clean and the breakfast was one of the best and very organized.

This hotel sucks. It’s in a sketchy place. The staff wasn’t friendly. There was dogs barking and people slamming doors all night long. The shower had little water pressure so it took triple the time to take a shower. The beds were extremely hard.

Easy access to the airport.

Room was clean and beds were comfy. We absolutely loved the convenience of having a shuttle from and back to the airport. They arrived to pick us up within minutes! They ride back to airport was immediate. The staff and shuttle drivers were professional and polite. The area was not the greatest, however there were lots of places near by to eat at or to have food delivered. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that it seems a bit run down and older. The elevators need work, for sure! Other than that, I'd definitely stay here again.

Very nice room although the handle to the bathroom sink fell off during use. I'm sure it is a quick fix. Otherwise all was good in the room and I was happy.

I immediately called the front desk, and to their credit, they moved us to another room and said it was an upgrade. Unfortunately, the new room had a strong unpleasant smell, and the bed sheets did not appear clean. While I appreciate the staff trying to fix the issue by moving us, the overall experience was very disappointing, especially traveling with children. Cleanliness and pest control need serious attention.

The first room had an order and the dry wall was.chipping in the bath room. The desk personal was great and helpful. The beakfast was ok.

Check in is before you get there they ask for a photo of your ID, car information including type/color/license number, credit card info & they charge a small fee. The room is dirty everything is old and smudges and hair everywhere. No shampoo or body wash in the shower refillable bottles. The a/c thermostat doesn’t work. Fridge is warm. Thankfully only staying one night

When checking in, the desk clerk asked if we wanted our room cleaned every day. I said yes, every day. It wasn't done! I had to remind the desk clerks and housekeeping personnel on a daily basis to clean my room.

This La Quinta has been doing a remodel for over 2 1/2 years. The staff was super helpful. Have a sign on the front desk no daily room service and I was told because it’s a big hotel and they don’t have enough staff then in the elevator. One of the panels is held on by a bracket to mount a toilet paper roll and the stainless steel is all tagged always had trash in hallway have pictures of all that but truthfully the room was fine. It should be made clear that there is construction going on at this hotel on the website at Expedia. They need a new maintenance man or give him the money to do repairs correct brackets to hold toilet papers is not correct. If the room had looked like the lobby and hallway and elevator, I would’ve checked out but actually like I said the room was fine clean

Loud, obnoxious guests with screaming children on floor above after midnight. Not hotel's fault. Called desk and they sent security which did finally calm them down. Didn't get much sleep.

Place seems to be old but looks like it is currently remodeling. Overall good enough place. Some cleaning needed but not terrible. The door is thin so may need to consider changing it to thick. Bed were comfortable. For 1 night, I say its good enough.

Air conditioning vents in eating area downstairs had black mold on them and around them on the ceiling. Pool and hot tub out of service. Single elevator door would stick closed on each floor. None of these issues were on websites.

This level of filth is absolutely unacceptable and entirely unsanitary. I immediately informed the front desk and provided photographic evidence. While the staff acknowledged the issue, I was told they could not issue a refund because the reservation was made through a third party (Hotels.com). I was instructed to contact you directly and that you would reach out to the hotel for resolution. To be clear, I have never experienced such a horrifying situation in any hotel. This was not a minor inconvenience—it was a serious health and safety concern. I am requesting a full refund for this stay. I trusted that basic hygiene standards would be met, and that trust was completely violated. Please confirm that you will be contacting the hotel and processing my refund immediately.

Convenient to the airport to catch a morning flight. The person who checked me in was alone and there were many people waiting, and on hold on the phone. Despite all of this he was very friendly and helpful. He gets 5+ stars. The hotel desperately needs updating. It is shabby and depressing and not very clean.

This hotel needs serious update and repairs. It’s dirty, the electrical system seems to have issues, and there’s a weird smell throughout the hotel. They don’t clean room/replenish towels. Other hotels nearby look like they are newer and may be better choices.

The kitchen area was not very clean. The television in the sitting room (was in a suite) did not work properly. They sent someone up and he told me he keeps telling management what the problem is but haven’t done anything. Furniture in sitting room was uncomfortable (was working on my computer). A/C did not function properly. Found 2 cockroaches this morning

The hot tub bubbler did not work and the stool flush broke but was fixed. The accessible room was nice, but far from elevator on 8th floor! We would stay again.

This was a quick and easy location to book. But I did not get any room service the 2 nights I stayed there . I called the front desk and asked for small face towels any they stated “ we don’t have room service and we are out of small towels”. So I left that be.. and just used a medium towel. But I left for an outing and came back and seen there was room service in the hallways and they had small towels. But my room never got serviced. And I had to change my own sheets . Nevertheless it’s was a nice hotel overall .

The hotel staff was amazing. On our second day, we had no hot water. The staff immediately changed our room and provided an upgrade. The continental breakfast was nice, the decaf coffee could have been better, too weak. They have a shuttle service that will take you where you want to go within a 2-mile radius, which was greatly appreciated, since our car rental died on us the second day too! Although our 4 night stay didn’t go as planned, the hotel staff made it so much better, and they did everything they could, to make things better for us! Highly recommend, and will stay there again!

Bathroom needs updating

Stayed on my way to San Antonio and another night on my way out. Overall, the employees are friendly, no issue with that, just a dirty hotel and room, and very noisy, had a bad stay both nights. The price is reasonable, but I will pay more to stay in a better hotel where I can sleep.

I've stayed here a few times, and I don't think I'll stay again. It is very noisy and people are talking in the hallway all night, I couldn't sleep. The hotel is dirty and has a very bad breakfast ( like most La Quinta).

It was a last minute stay, but it was worth it.A comfortable big bed after a long day of driving and the front desk person was the sweetest man that made it feel amazing..

After getting off a plane out 1:30 in the morning, I booked this hotel through Expedia since it was close to the airport and I needed to get sleep for my 2 1/2 hour drive home when I got to the property they said that my reservation was for the following night I explained that I Just had booked it in the airport. and that the date was obviously mistake because I am standing in front of them. They told me I had to get ahold of Expedia, which I did. Expedia tried for a couple days to get them to refund that night and they did not so I ended up paying for it for two nights and barely sleeping there for maybe five hours.

Bed and pillows lumpy very uncomfortable

The hotel is in a good location and our room was pretty clean. But the outside and interior of the hotel is not that great. It looks a bit run down and not like the pictures. This Wyndham is very different from the ones of I’ve stayed at before.

There was a bit of an unknown odor in the room. The commode was sweating- the seat was always damp.

One of the workers in the kitchen was really rude to my daughter in law for absolutely no reason.

Everything is excellent.

I felt safe and there is no problem finding a place to eat. Staff are great too.

The San Antonio La Quinta is about a mile from the airport. The first time I called requesting the shuttle, I was told driver was already en route to airport w/ a drop off and should be just a few minutes. Didn't arrive. I called a total of 3 times, wait time 45 min. Driver did not present a good first impression for hotel. Arrived at hotel; woman checking me in was defensive rather than apologetic re MIA shuttle. However the gentleman at other check-in area was helpful and professional. Lobby, halls and elevator were filthy. Room was clean. However I checked out first thing the next morning due to the filthy overall environment along with shuttle driver and front desk first contacts. The hotel does offer a complimentary breakfast, but who would want to eat in an environment that is so filthy? Woman who checked me out in the morning was very pleasant and professional.

The door wouldn’t close properly, and the entire setup felt outdated. The restroom lacked drawers, which was quite inconvenient. I can't tell if renovations are in progress, but we had to prop a chair in front of the door just to keep it secure. Room 646

They should’ve informed us during check in and provided the items so that we wouldn’t have to go back down. One of the elevator floors had a large crack in it. Dangerous to guests.

When I first got here the receptionist was absolutely terrible no sense of urgency and she was just trying to get off she had no customer service skills or commitment to her job. On top of that she gave me such a hard time over booking just because of a simple typo. On top of that the entire facility was under construction. They were bringing in new beds I don't know if they had a massive bed bug infestation. Also it seemed like in every corner of every hallway around every turn in the lobby in the elevator everywhere was absolutely disgusting and not maintained trash stains smells you name it it was there.

Hotel needs to be updated.

Everything was good, restroom needs some working done especially the shower, no hot water.

Room was nice and comfortable Very clean Called to get a blanket and pillow for the pull out bed, lady at desk said there should be one in the drawer, I told her o looked and none there. Then she said I had to come down to get one. When I got down stairs to fro t desk, she said I could have a blanket but no pillow. She said there’s 5 on the bed to use o e of them. Then she walked away. Mean while another employee brought me a blanket and a pillow. I don’t understand 1 why I had to come down to get these items? 2 what was the hassle to get a blanket for my grandkid? 3 why did I have to ask for a pillow?

We had two full beds. I had expected queens, but other than that, the stay was lovely and uneventful - just the way I like it.

Terrible, I won’t be staying here ever again. I normally don’t take the time to write reviews so this just tells you how terrible and nasty this place was. Carpet stunk so bad we got a 2 bed room the beds were full size not even queen size. Our room smell like mold room 109 by the way. The entrance to the place was disgusting and it smell like pee. The carpet all around was definitely not clean or haven’t been clean for a while now. Please think twice before booking. I should had ask for a refund and book elsewhere but we had no time as we book for a baseball tournament around the area…

There were roaches in room and hallways were not vacuumed and breakfast terrible.

By far you don’t hear the airplanes taking off

We had already paid on line and the lady was trying to make us pay again when we checked in, when we got to the hotel it was trashy outside, the trash can was overflowing, then when we ask the lady at the desk if they had something for us to put our luggage on she said she didn’t know where they were, the room one of the lamps didn’t work at all and the other lamp shades were all bent, the trim around the walls was coming off the walls, I will NOT stay there again, if I hadn’t paid up front I wouldn’t of stayed there

The property is old. Either stuff wasn't working or it was noisy like the ac, toilet and faucet. Not working were tv and clock. There was lots of noise in the hall and someone was smoking outside the hotel and we could smell it in our room. The pillows were sad. The worst part was the loud shouting at 4 am. Recruits and their drill sargent or whomever. The staff were great and very helpful.

Our room reeked of mold and mildew and we found the AC unit to be the culprit, leaking into the carpet. It was not a mild smell that might only bother some, it was choking and the air was thick. We were provided another room and the furniture was stained and utterly disgusting. I do not normally complain, I am a frequent traveler and a pretty easy going guest. All properties have an issue here and there and generally most staff try their best. Additionally, it was severely overpriced (triple what it should have been) due to a local event, and we were never offered any consolidation from management. I will never return and recommend that you stay away if you like clean and friendly accommodations.

We also rented a meeting room. Tables were really beat up and looked dirty. I was a little embarrased about that for my guests.

Excellent stay. Convenient, Clean, Spacious. Breakfast and Parking included.

Only there for like 7 hours but staff was fantastic, and it was clean and quiet.
