Check in was easy. Room was ok. But ZERO PARKING even though you are a paying customer. Parking is all used up for WAYMO cars and apparently they give two parking per room. Yet they can’t accommodate for paying customers. RIDICULOUS!! Had to walk about a block in the dark after a tiring day. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Walked to Cracker Barrel. A/C cold. We have stayed here every time we flew out of SAT .Used to have airport rides even before 4:00am but no more. We’ll stay at nearby hotel that offers 24 hour shuttles.

Excellent staff, room were overall clean. But I think the property is little old so I did see some wear. But not terrible. Breakfast were nice and simple. No complain. Overall great hotel!

The location was fine and it was quiet, which is sometimes unusual for a 1st floor room. The bed was also comfortable. The room had an extremely bad smell. It had a stale, old cigarette smell, and the chair, carpet, and bathroom needed to be updated/replaced. The small kitchenette also needed to be updated.

& fast. Breakfast was delicious, pool was warm & clean. Everything was good & clean. Unfortunately the microwave didn't work correctly & the iron was not usable. I did ask for some working items but was only given the iron. The microwave never arrived. But the customer service was great!

Cons: very small TV - like 35", finicky AC kept the room a little more humid than we liked. The wifi kept dropping.

Nobody spoke English. Poor selection of food and people were rude. Kid pooped in pool

Rooms are not at all quiet. You can hear doors and people talking all hours of the night. Room way too small for what inside it. Bathroom fixtures need replacing. Bathroom door hard to open. Breakfast was nice. Nice location. Dogs barking.

I found bedbugs and the manager was very apprehensive when it came to right compensation for this major issue.

Everything was great except the bathroom's light switch was the same as the switch for the air and it was super loud. So every time we turned on the light, we had to endure the loud noise.

Our stay was amazing. This stay by far was the best one in the last couple of family vacations I have had. The general manager the breakfast attendent and the room attendants were great. They went above and beyond to give us a great stay. We thank you very much.

No real complaints. Got in late, left early. They had bacon for breakfast so the rest is just trivia.

Nice hotel VERY close to the airport and within walking distance of places to eat and shop. Friendly staff and quick check in/check out. Breakfast was good also. Free shuttle to airport.

I understand it is a pet friendly facility but my room did smell like dog pee. Maybe just do a better job cleaning the carpet is all or don’t have carpet since it is a pet friendly facility. Everything else was great!

My truck AND every truck in the parking lot was broken in to AND the “on duty security” had no idea. What a joke!

This place had issues with water. Barely any hot water on the night we checked in. The next morning the water was completely shut off. Front desk said it was the city that cutoff the water. We received not notice prior and no comps at all from the hotel.

My overall stay was average, we were greeted by a dead grasshopper and we were about to checkout room we spotted a dead cockroach. Good that we spotted at the time of checkout. But besides that everything was good comfortable bed, washroom were clean and carpet was tidy. I think the kitchen area was too congested and a bit dirty. So overall it was a average stay.

The staff is so happy here! Definitely a wonderful property. Will stay here again!

Awesome room

very clean and smelled nice. Not that artificial overbearing smell. Bathroom was great. No missing tiles, chipped paint or stains. A big plus is the kitchenette. Very nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Area around the hotel is a sketchy. I wouldn’t go very far even in the daytime. Hotel property is maintained nicely. Breakfast is an actual breakfast: sausage eggs cereals waffles breads fruit yogurt etc. I would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom sink & shower were both clogged. I could not control the AC in the room to turn down the air which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast in the morning featured a belgian waffle that was sour, sausage patties that tasted boiled and dry scrambled eggs that were likely from powder.

For older people with knee problems toilet was way to low to the ground. Kids in the pool most of the evening to night making hard for adults to enjoy, this is why I picked a place with a pool, to enjoy, didn't even get to enjoy it. Garbage bags in the hallway no one around to throw them out. Security, two of them both relaxing in the lobby, I guess the get to take their breaks together.

Nice place right out the door to the airport car rental return. It took 5 min. A bit disappointed that we couldn’t get some type of easy breakfast food to take with us on checkout because we had to catch a 5:45AM flight.

Everything was perfect except for that annoying bathroom fan! Extremely loud and no way of turning it off without it also turning the light off. You can’t hear the tv or a cell phone. Had to yell to talk.

Really enjoyed our stay. Little noisy because of closeness to freeway but not enough to bother us. Couple small things in room could use slight repair but only noticed them because I was looking for them. Would definitely stay here again.

It was super clean! The receptionist was very kind. She even let us choose the floor we stayed on. The breakfast was pretty good. I didn’t get to use the pool but I saw it while I was eating breakfast and next time I come to San Antonio I will definitely stay here and make sure I have a bathing suit!

They switched our rooms from a king bed to two doubles. Not the end of the world, but then had to use both beds. The mattresses were fabulous!!! Super comfortable.

Room was fine but never had a warm shower regardless of time of day. Breakfast was good. Surrounding area mostly open and rundown but still satisfactory. I am mad with EXPEDIA for not telling me I could be bumped from my original reservation (Springhill) if the hotel filled with guests doing direct booking. This notification should have been provided to me from Expedia before I booked.

I was assigned the top floor room 301, it was presented to the usual high Marriot standard in terms of cleanness comfort and spaciousness. A home from home with a kitchenette / study area. Be aware the room is right next to the interstate and the San Antonio airport hence background noise is noticeable at certain hours. Finally the staff works as a team and are attentive and welcoming. Would stay again.

Parking was free and was easy. Called for towels and they were brought immediately. Staff was nice. Check in/ check out was easy. TV was broken in fitness area. Lobby had a weird smell.

The hotel was old. The drapes smelled like smoke and the lighting in the kitchenette area was very dim.

In town for a short business trip, a friend recommended this property. The complimentary shuttle to/from the airport were convenient and easy to access! The staff are so kind and went above & beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. I was not in town long enough to go walking but it is in walking distance to a mall. I highly recommend this location! Suuuper convenient!

I stayed for 6 days and everything was going well, clean rooms, breakfast was really good, laundry, Gym very nice. Until on the 4th day someone tried to break in in my car, it was daylight, and they broke part of the handle opener. Since then I didn't feel safe unfortunately.

We stayed for 6 nights, beds are small for 2 adults, rooms were clean and comfortable. The problem is that someone tried to break in my car in day light, they broke the handle door opener, but fortunately they were not able to get in. Since then i was not feeling comfortable and safe. Homeless people seemed to hang underneath the overpasses.

Staff was great. Hotel badly showing age. Has old smell to it. Not on par with Marriott

So disappointed - pool totally closed for Reno's -- was not aware of that and the hotel had zero options for compensation or using other facilities. As well the shuttle doesn't start till 5am but I needed to be at the hotel by 4am-- supper frustrating!!!

We were put in a room with a door that connected to another room, was not private, could hear everything. Beds were soiled and bathroom tiles were dirty.

Although I had a room at a resort property that night I paid additional to stay here because I had a super early flight the next morning and the listing said Airport Shuttle. When I checked in asked for a shuttle at 4:00 AM for a 5:30 AM flight I was told that the shuttle didn't start until 5:00 AM - although no hours were on the hotel listing. That meant I had to pay a $30.00 Uber to the terminal!! I would have saved money and stress staying at the resort. Buyer Beware!!!

The listing was not correct on Expedia when we got to check-in and staff wasn't able to cancel or change the reservation.

Overall our stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly, the area was a little sketchy but still worth the money.

I didn't like that there was no signage leading to the property, I drove past several times until I found a UPS driver.

This is the second time staying at TownePlace and everything went well. The only thing i would add is to put some mirrors outside of the bathroom.

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff would not honor our gold status for late checkout due to being short staffed so that was a little upsetting.

Great experience! Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, nice buffet breakfast. We ended up leaving our car on property for a decent flat fee while we went on our trip. We use the shuttle to them from the airport and it was very convenient. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Staff handled the spring breakers with grace and professionalism. Even though there were kids running around the lobby, the reception kept it's cool and dealt with it. Great job.

We enjoyed our stay. It was our first time staying at a TownePlace and will seek them out first the next time we travel.

My guest reported that the shower water did not get hot in the morning- the temperature was lukewarm. Other than that, all was well.

The room setup was great. Would be an excellent place for someone stating for an extended period.

Property was ok, however the internet didn't work the entire time of my stay. I wanted to extend my stay one extra day, but the price more than doubled for one extra night. Soooo not fair!

The only negative was the hot water no hot water. Spoke to other people staying they said they had same problem. I did tell the the Receptionist about my husband told her to get it check that it might just need to put the thermostat higher. Or Water Heater needs to be replaced

The property was super nice! Having a free breakfast to start the day was really nice and the staff was super helpful. I actually left my wallet in my room when i checked out and while i was at the airport i realized it was gone. I called the hotel to see if it was there and they found it and dropped it off to me at the airport. They were super helpful and i thank the world for them. Highly recommend staying there.

Rooms are well equipped for working, and have a nice kitchenette. Location is convenient to the airport, and staff was very helpful!
