Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests praising the cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff, while others express dissatisfaction with the cleanliness, maintenance, and breakfast options. The location is generally seen as convenient, particularly for those visiting local attractions such as Six Flags and Fiesta Texas.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location, particularly for local attractions
- Inconsistent cleanliness and maintenance
- Limited breakfast options
- 5/5
The receptionist was kind enough to print out papers I needed for my daughter’s college orientation.
- 3/5
Overall the property was well maintained however it felt like the ac in the common areas wasn’t really working and then a lot of lights in the hallway (and our bathroom) were flicking constantly
- 4/5
Good place to stay that’s clean and has a great staff. Breakfast is only quick to-go options that’s available in the mornings. It is warm in the hallways during the summer. Other than that it’s a nice place to stay.
- 5/5
Room was clean and fresh as soon as I walked in parking was amazing
- 4/5
Nice hotel
- 1/5
Our room was very hot and it took forever for it to cool down. The floors were dirty and the restroom was dirty.
- 3/5
We were there for 3 days and found the property clean the staff professional and the beds comfortable. We paid an additional parking fee, they said all hotels in San Antonio charge a parking fee now. Their breakfast consist of bagels, cereal, muffins, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal packets and yogurt, want more just go across Whataburger. This hotel met all my immediate needs, and I felt safe.
- 5/5
Excellent room Services. Excellent staff my State at this location was wonderful. I will recommend it. It was easy to park. Easy to navigate.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable room. Generous breakfast offerings and nice time period for breakfast.
- 2/5

- 5/5
Our second time at this hotel staff were great it is clean and close to six Flags Fiesta texas and sea world only bad thing was the pool not available they were working on it.
- 4/5
Easy in and out, nice place to stay
- 1/5
do not stay here . room was dirty . air conditioner didn't work. no water in the pool . they messed up on my reservation got cancelled and then they charged me more then expedia said i was going to be charged . the reservation desk didn't care . oh and construction is bad right here it's even hard to get to
- 4/5
Breakfast is very basic, at least to say.
- 5/5
Hotel was very good and staff was good
- 3/5
Air-conditioning was good
- 5/5
Very nice experience
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfy. Convenient location close to good shopping, restaurants and Six Flags.
- 4/5
Room was good. AC struggled to keep room cool and sink faucet and shower faucets were very loose
- 3/5
Hotel was great the only thing was the breakfast and they charge for parking. The breakfast was very limited with only cereal muffins and oatmeal. Wish I could have known that before booking for 3 days.
- 4/5
Would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
As I did not want my holiday to be ruined because of the hotel experience The pillows were really comfortable and the bed was comfy too, but I am not sure about the hygiene of the hotel and the room. Also, there is no ventilation in the bathroom. I don’t think I will come back to this hotel again.
- 3/5
No access to pool, not a lot of options for breakfast
- 1/5
Couple things in the room not working.
- 5/5
-
- 3/5
The breakfast was awful especially if you have children its not for them
- 5/5
The only thing I do not like when I first got there from out of town. I called the hotel about five or six times. No one answered, but when I get that the ones in the office watching their tablet, the whole time instead of picking up the phone because I travel out of town I wanted to the bottom floor, but when I got there, she said they only had a top floor for me.
- 5/5
Very well kept and clean property overall for the price. Beds were comfy & amenities were all there easy access
- 5/5
Excellence and Professionalism
- 5/5
This was very close to the UTSA campus, which was good for us, since we we're attending orientation. Also the beds were so comfortable I slept all night. I wish the AC continued to run
- 2/5
There were strands of hair on the carpet in room and on floor of bathroom- housekeeping needs to vac better and sweep up in bath area. Bath towels appeared "dingy" in color;need to be replaced with newer ones. Low water pressure. Fixtures in sink and shower weren't cleaned well- not shiny, had soap scum or residue from previous room cleaning products on them . Unaware of $5 Parking fee and incident(s) fee of $100 due at ck-in. Hallway carpet needs cleaning Paint touch up needed on walls in certain spots in my room PROS- Great location! Less than 10 min from Fiesta, TX, UTSA, and The Rim shopping. Lots of restaurants. Close to Pallisade movie theatre. Lite breakfast choices- oatmeal, bagels, boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea bags Staff helpful in listening to CONS. They're to speak with housekeeping A/C cold- took small fan to reduce any noise from hallway and aid in sleep/comfort Nite lite in bath to provide dim lighting
- 3/5
The staff were friendly. I was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness at the coffee bar. Elevator smelled terrible. The bathtub faucet was not secured. Bath towels had yellow stains.
- 4/5
Buen precio. Un poco sucio en areas de elevadores y pasillos. Poca recoleccion de basura en zafacones externos.
- 5/5
Clean room easy check in
- 5/5
I called before arriving to confirm my stay, service over the phone was friendly and informative. Arriving and checking in was flawless. Room and bathroom were clean, restocking was done before we came back to the room. Overall great stay, great area, would definitely book again.
- 1/5
The staff blocked our rooms keys by mistake. Rooms smell bad. Coffee wasn’t good and breakfast wasn’t good.
- 4/5
Our room didnt seem to have been looked at for towel replacements
- 4/5
Clean and comfy beds/pillows.
- 5/5
Great and Awesome
- 1/5
Run down property. Elevators stinks. Washrooms are moldy. Staff are very unfriendly. Room is very dark.
- 5/5
Breakfast should have more than just bagels and boiled eggs.
- 5/5
The staff is great and the rooms are clean!!
- 2/5
I had to ask for more juice and food for the breakfast. It was only 830. The staff was very slow to refill everything. Weird beer/pee odor in elevator. There was also a “wet floor” sign folded up and a really dirty towel in the corner of the elevator. There was a strong “weed” odor on the 3rd floor, Stayed here twice, wish I learned a lesson the first time😢
- 3/5
All good
- 4/5
Yes all
- 4/5
The hotel was nice I would stay here again
- 4/5
Our room was dirty in the bathroom and we kept coming across spiders.
- 4/5
Air conditioning it’s noise
- 5/5
Very convenient location, especially for a through traveler. Any kind of retail you might need is within a mile. Easy access to the freeway as well. Great value.
- 5/5
Excelente hotel recomendado por Pichis Sound

- 4/5
Great for an overnight stay
- 5/5
Awesome people
- 5/5
We love it here.
- 2/5
My rest room smelled bad and the floor was sticky, there was pubic hair on the toilet seat, the sheets had stains. I asked if they could please clean the restroom and they said they did but it looked the same and still smelled bad. I pulled the sheets all the way down the end of the bed and they just pulled the sheets back didn’t even make the beds.
- 5/5

Air conditioning was like Antarctica, parking was great room was clean. They provide full size shampoo conditioner body wash and lotion
- 3/5
Check in lady was great. Room was pretty clean. But the bed was hard as a rock.
- 2/5
Breakfast menu was fresh. A/C worked well.
- 5/5
The place is very nice.
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 2/5
The previous comments is why I decided to book this property. The AC didn’t work and didn’t realize it until it was around 2:00am. The previous people who stayed in the room left their room key. If the cleaning staff properly cleaned the room how did they miss the room key? The restroom could have used a better cleaning and the carpet was dirty. The person who checked us in wasn’t friendly at all. He gave us the key and walked away. Another person who checked in before asked us where the elevator was. We were all looking for it and lost. He didn’t even give us the information about breakfast or anything. Just asked for ID and gave a key and left.
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
Excellent location
- 2/5
Room wasnt clean clean, shower had a lot of stains. There were also dents in the walls
- 5/5
The room was affordable, clean, and had a simple and nice design. Also had a microwave, mini fridge, blow dryer and ironing board. Restrooms were clean, stocked and also had big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Our only complaint was locating the light switches on the lamps. Other than that, we had a nice and comfy stay!
- 5/5
I had no trouble with the internet and we were relaxing enjoying our movies and youtube videos without any delay
- 2/5
Breakfast was very basic. No hot food.
- 5/5
Great service and attention!
- 5/5
Excelente!
- 3/5
Air condition was making weird sound after it turned off… hard to sleep. Breakfast was eh.. only good thing is location near six flags.
- 2/5
They do not have microwave in the rooms. They make you come down so you can buy stuff from them. Breakfast is not good
- 5/5
Clean room good air condition good breakfast !!
- 5/5
Everything was great! The rooms could use a little more attention but great stay over all. We were next to a huge out door mall The Cantera and of course Six Flags.
- 2/5
Room was humid and hot
- 1/5
Hot water didn’t not work add on No shampoo just body wash, everything was unplugged the refrigerator didn’t not work so had nowhere to keep my daughter milk cold it was a not a clean room BOOKING SAID FREE PARKING BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING On top of that never heard of 100 dollars deposit the TV doesn’t even cost that much first and last time ever staying at a spark
- 5/5
Yes all good
- 5/5
Great for cost and location
- 5/5
Everything good
- 3/5
Alright
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel
- 2/5
Was greeted by a staff at the front desk that was wearing a shirt that said “I will not argue with someone who should’ve been swallowed”. Very inappropriate for work. Called the front desk numerous times, no one would answer, I later went to the front desk to ask for shampoo (the one in the room was empty). Staff was rude and acted as if I was bothering them. Found a dirty towel hanging in the shower. Glad we only stayed one night
- 1/5
Hot water Bathroom fan Microwave Ice bucket Good customer service This is what it did have OVERPRICED
- 3/5
Complimentary breakfast offered but nothing gluten free; ice machine not working Had to go to the main floor, refrigerator in the room - had to use the lobby microwave very inconvenient ( but at least had adjoining rooms
- 3/5
The room was clean but someone had dropped an orange behind one of the dressers, and it was in a state of decomposition. There was no ice bucket or cups in the room - not even paper cups. When I wanted to brush my teeth, I had to get a cup from the buffet area. The shampoo dispenser was not filled either so while the room was otherwise clean and comfortable, it had not been prepped well from the previous guest.
- 5/5
Room was excellent!.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, staff was helpful, the air conditioning was alright. I had to have it cold to not feel hot during the day. So close to six flags!
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the shower head in our room was no good, barely any water was able to come out.
- 1/5
Suck city
- 2/5
The staff entered our room, even though we had two signs on the door do not enter I repeat 2 signs
- 3/5
Average,
- 2/5
THE LOBBY AND COMMON AREAS WERE RUN DOWN
- 1/5
The eating area was dirty, so I didn’t eat there
- 2/5
Rooms were small but clean. Several cars in there parking lot were broken in to.
- 3/5
Couldn’t get on the internet, even with Hilton Honors number.
- 2/5
Dirty towels
- 4/5
Clean and polite
- 4/5
Internet was well, room clean, breakfast area was not so clean guest should clean after themselves
- 5/5
The breakfast is bagels, oatmeal packages, cereal, coffee and some fruit.
- 4/5
There were high winds the first night we stayed and power lines down Without electricity for about 6 hours and staff kept us updated on progress to get it fixed
- 5/5
I like stay here
- 5/5
Everything so clean!!!
- 5/5
rooms are super comfortable and large. You have everything you need. The building is old but it’s clean. The lobby amenities are a nice touch I saw families hanging out down there playing games having coffee and such. Just please tell your guests that parking requires a pass, I only knew because I noticed cars had the same green pass on their womdishield. The attendant at the front didn’t tell me when checking in. But everything was great I only stayed one night.
- 3/5
But PLEASE PLEASE STOP BE A PET FRIENDLY. THE ROOM OF OUR SIDE CIME WITH A DOG AND DONT STOP TO BARKS ALL NIGH!!!
- 5/5
Clean staff was great family friendly breakfast was okay but the coffee got me going
- 5/5
Their rooms were clean. The staff was pleasant. The Wi-Fi was great, and the kitchen was open and clean. Every morning and I felt safe. Most of all.
- 4/5
Property was clean and staff was very nice. Good experience for the price point.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 2/5
Dirty and sticky… not at all what I was expecting for a Hilton property.
- 5/5
The internet was just to my son's liking. Out stay was pleasant and easy. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
- 1/5
Breakfast was below standards.
- 3/5
No asistance with internet. The tub and sink drainage were not working properly.
- 3/5
The room could use a deep cleaning. One of the walls has what looked like coke splatters. There were hairs in the shower walls. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Great location.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 1/5
Smelled like dog
- 5/5
Great place for the price. Highly recomended.
- 5/5
Clean room overall… just one of the bed sheets had odor of pee.
- 1/5
Got my truck broken into. Parking lot not well lit. Pointless to have cameras if no one is watching them.
- 1/5
The knob to the toilet was broken, we had to adjust it everytime we use it. We had to carry the microwave out of the cubby and plug it close to an outlet. One of the outlets where pushed forward exposing the back of the outlet, very dangerous if you have little ones. The restroom needs a good cleaning. Other little thing, which I didn’t mind asking in the front office, but should’ve been accommodated before hand.
- 3/5
Staff was really nice but place wasn’t the best. My rom smelled like feet so I did leave and get another hotel. They broke into several vehicles at night. Not the best area to stay in. Price was great but it could cost you more on long run.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice, just needs some areas needing to be repaired and updated. Overall good hotel and comfortable bed.
- 2/5
Wanted to watch tv....no remote....called downstairs, lady said she would check on it...never heard back...also wire was hanging out of tv....sooo....good location, but needs a few improvements... In my opinion....thanks
- 4/5
Restroom in the hotel rooms need an exhaust fan. Breakfast can have bread too. Staff are really good. Pet friendly.
- 3/5
Staff was helpful, but room wasn't that clean, also no toilet paper, tissue paper, and the body wash was empty.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Very clean rooms and friendly staff.
- 4/5
The water in the sink and bathtub was drained very slowly, the water easily stagnated.
- 5/5
Amazing staff!!
- 1/5
We stayed four days three nights, housekeeping never came. The room was dirty and the worst part is that every night around 3am there’s street racing right in front of the hotel and no one does anything about it.
- 3/5
No coffee in rooms or rinse cups. A/c unit very noisy. Smelled like caninbus for a long while.
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet surroundings, nearby restaurants
- 4/5
More variety @ breakfast would be great.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
Continental breakfast was just ok. I didn’t like that they charged a $100 incidentals deposit. The room was nice, but the elevator was old. The bathrooms are small and tight. It was difficult to get into and out of the property because it is right under the loop, so it requires you to go out of your way to get to it. The Spark by the Dominion is a much nicer property and much easier to access.
- 2/5
Horrible smell in hallway and rooms! Dingy linen, dirty elevators, just needs proper maintenance. One night was enough
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great and clean spot
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and the staff was great and it was close to Fiesta texas. We were celebrating our 43rd anniversary.
- 2/5
Ther was no room cleaning service
- 3/5
The linens and bed were clean. They emptied the trash every other day. The shower area needed some maintenance and cleaning. The carpets seemed dirty. I was surprised that there was a parking fee of $5…that should be included in the hotel fees. The walls were thin, but that’s expected. I was NOT happy that I was placed in a room with a connecting door with a deadbolt that did not work. There probably should be some individual maintenance for the rooms to access their repair needs.
- 3/5
Clean room and courteous staff.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
The location was the most convenient part of our trip - proximity to UTSA. The breakfast was the only part that was slightly disappointing. Hot breakfast, for $100 per night is not an unreasonable expectation.
- 4/5
The location was the most convenient part of our trip - proximity to UTSA. The breakfast was the only part that was slightly disappointing. Hot breakfast, for $100 per night is not an unreasonable expectation.
- 5/5
The room was very clean; the bedsheets were as well. Check in with Linda was fast and easy. The best feature was the hotel's proximity to the shops in La Cantera. Breakfast was a little sparse. Great place to stay.
- 4/5
Room- clean, bath-clean. Towels weren't really bright white but that's not to say they weren't clean. Breakfast area- it's not a big area so I couldn't understand why the counters/bar area, tables weren't being constantly cleaned. Attendant seemed to spend more time forever cleaning the coffee bar when I felt the food area needed the most attention. Hallways/walls- needed to be vac'd and walls touched up to remove scuff marks Location- very nice area, lots of shops, stores, restaurants. 5 min from Fiesta,Tx, 5 min from Palladium, approx 20 min from Sea World Price- affordable Food- good if u like lite breakfast- bagels, oatmeal, muffins, oj, apple juice
- 1/5
Very disappointed Especially for a Diamond member. Don't recommended
- 4/5
The staff were great, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Peaceful stay!
- 4/5
The staff (Jack and Linda) were very helpful and gracious.
- 3/5
We were given a room that already had a family in it. So I had to go back to the reception and ask for a different room. She didn’t seem phased or apologetic, just said, “oh, let me see” and then gave me a different room. Other than that , the stay was okay.
- 3/5
Coffee is terrible, jelly containers for yougurt and oatmeal were not washed daily.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff clean rooms and great amenities
- 5/5
Very nice staff and clean room
- 5/5
People are very friendly, clean rooms
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, however only 1 person in front desk, rooms were decent and locatuon is good.
- 3/5
$10 a night to park your freaking car. The building was dated and smelled musty.
- 5/5
Room was spotless a very nice!
- 4/5
Very clean and quiet. Check in was quick and easy.
- 5/5
Nice comfy just a boring breakfast but everything else makes up for it
- 5/5
Great staff and facilities.
- 3/5
The side door was broke, anybody could have came in! The breakfast sucks. It was okay for one night! Front desk clerks wasn’t pleasant at all! Then they will charge you 100 dollars for a hold of accidental fee!
- 2/5
Room was fine. Breakfast was not with the stay. Then the $100 deposit wasn’t even mentioned before booking the room or the fact that they don’t explain when the deposit will be given back. They don’t give the deposit back over the weekends either.
- 1/5
Our luggage went in it too. I know it’s not the hotels fault but some security on site would help.
- 1/5
My vehicle was vandalized, I even had a staff member inform me that vehicle break ins were a common occurrence at this hotel. The remainder of the staff just stated “they are not responsible”. Why was there no security, with the knowledge that vehicles are constantly vandalized? The staff knows and can care less.
- 1/5
Asked for the room to be cleaned and never once did they do it, they did change out the dirty towels for dirties towels! Had to go to target too buy our own towels too, had to ask the housekeeper for the broom to sweep. Nice hotel but poor staff who runs it.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely courteous and room was very clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Clean, safe and friendly staff
- 5/5
The room was very specious and clean
- 5/5
Very nice at the front desk
- 3/5
This was the 3rd time we stayed at this exact hotel in San Antonio and unfortunately it wasn't our most pleasant. The hotel has a great location right off the hwy and close to The Rim shopping area. However attention to renovations is necessary. Our room had a few issues with broken drywall around the toilet and bathtub areas. We also had some dirty towels in our room.
- 5/5
Always clean, always friendly staff
- 2/5
We stayed in 121 for a night and there was this random loud door slamming that kept happening and startled us throughout our stay. Did not enjoy this at all and for that reason we are not coming back to this location.
- 5/5
The hotel is clean the room was clean, easy to check in and out. All good thank you
- 1/5
No air condition, no hot water
- 4/5
My overall stay at this property was good, however I was very disappointed with check in. The front desk person was not friendly, did not greet meet, barley said anything to me. And when they did speak it was in a very aggravated tone, I was highly disturbed with this poor level of customer service. I have stayed at this property several times and this is the first time I have been disappointed.
- 4/5
The breakfast lady was great. Super busy & worked the Fd too. Very friendly, great attitude. The room was clean & although we stayed 2 nights the housekeeper was amazing too.
- 5/5
I had a great stay at this hotel we had room 119.
- 5/5
Clean room, with everything you need in the bathroom (body lotion, conditioner, shampoo ), very close to six flags , efficient staff
- 5/5
Todo en orden, buen servicio y cuartos limpios. Siempre cafe disponible en el lobby
- 1/5
There were vehicles that were broken into overnight. The breakfast is very limited no waffles, eggs, bagels, and water down juice. The breakfast bar was a mess. We was informed at the check-in that some rooms do not have microwaves or fridge. I did not have a microwave in a fridge that barely worked.. The rooms very small. They charge they charge four dollars a night for parking.
- 4/5
For the most part, this place met my expectations. However, the shampoo and conditioner in the shower were almost out (it took some time to o get enough out), and they left my hair feeling dirty.
- 3/5
Very limited breakfast. Bagel bar. Room amenities worked as specified. Ample parking available. Very good area in the city; close to a lot of stores and a lot to do in the area.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent . That’s for sure we are coming back 🙂
- 3/5
Shower drainage slowly drained and clogged. AC could be colder.
- 1/5
Room was dirty
- 1/5
Stay clear of this hotel. We found old food left in the refrigerator, the so called breakfast was sub par, the room was old and dated, they charge for parking, however 2 cars had their windows busted out, the rooms on the first floor ran out of hot water and lastly the first desk staff called my room twice on the first night asking about noise. I clearly informed him that I was asleep and didn't know anything about noise. His response " I will keep calling all the rooms.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, good location, friendly staff
- 5/5
The hotel is clean, rooms are clean and comfortable. The only issue I had, I’ve been traveling a while, had to do laundry. The washer was fine. I had to run the dryer three cycles for it to dry other than that everything’s fine.
- 1/5
Immediately walking into the Hotel, was not greeted! Let the Man at front desk know we had a reservation took my name I’d payment and gave us the room key. No acknowledgment about anything, we looked around for elevators before he told us were they were. Walked into the room and in was dirty hair all over the restroom floor, removed the bed sheets and hair was all over them. It smelled bad in there. The rooms look rundown. NOTHING like the pictures. Don’t let it fool you, looks like they painted over a run down motel and made it look good but the property is in bad shape.
- 1/5
They constantly run out of boiled eggs. Breakfast is very basic. No hot meals and limited protein. The only protein option is cold boiled eggs, which are often gone, and the rest of the food is overly sweet and unappealing. On the first day, we were assigned a room where the toilet was clogged with waste. We were moved to another room, but it was still unclean, with hair in the sink, toilet, and on the bed.

The room was very clean . The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy.

clen room
- 4/5
They charge $5 for parking, rediculaus for a hotel like this. The breakfast was terrible, they only had bagels, cereal and old hard boiled eggs. The milk was luke warm, not sure it was safe to drink, opened a cream cheese it was also warm and curdled. The worst thing was the coffee, so watered down you could see the bottom of your cup. Watered down orange juice. Cutting corners like this is just silly. Overall the hotel is clean. Staff is indifferent.
- 4/5
Everything was good except for check in time the lady at the front desk did not greet us did not tells us breakfast hours or checkout time we did have a good stay overall
- 5/5
Clean quiet and great staff
- 5/5
Best nights sleep ever.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Clean and convenient and early check in available.
- 5/5
Great location, room has everything- microwave, fridge, flat iron, nice mini closet. Bathroom is so clean. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect & easy when i checked in had no problems the room was up to date no problem
- 3/5
Very basic. It’s a place just to sleep. Limited amenities. No coffee pot in the room. Breakfast is basic continental. Staff is minimal… you have to ask questions; they won’t tell you what time breakfast is or where the Ice machine is unless you ask (they also don’t provide a bucket or bag for ice unless you ask). But bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Nice clean comfortable hotel with great parking.
- 4/5
Tv was not working
- 3/5
Toilet paper is like sandpaper, the kitchen grill wasn’t working (thankful for the food truck park next door - found delicious food), barely could fit inside bathroom to close the door without standing the toilet, and a constant running toilet that made noises all night. I have enjoyed Hyatt Place hotels but definitely would not recommend this location.
- 3/5
I’ve stayed at the hotel numerous times prior to this stay. But this time, wasn’t a pleasant stay. I understand you get what you pay for, at $50-$60 a night I’m not expecting a

Staff was amazing. The breakfast fit the price of the stay. The room was in great shape and seemed very new. It had a large flat screen as well.

Okay place the beds are comfortable rooms are spacious. The carpet does make it difficult to open and close the door. The front office staff is not very friendly. The cleaning staff was more helpful than the front office staff and nicer. Front office seemed very bothered

- 5/5
Easy check in, nice front desk staff, clean room and hot water.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious!!
- 4/5
The property itself was well kept once you made it to your room. The outside facilities weren’t very clean. The outside door near the elevator didn’t require a key so anyone could come in, and we found out on the first night that our door could be pushed in and opened without a key. With small kids it didn’t give very safe. However, the room cleanliness was impressive. Breakfast was decent every morning. It just gave “older property”. Like there are things that need tending to that didn’t make for a good first impression, but overall it was a decent stay.
- 3/5
But the bathroom need some attention Toilet lid was very lose Every time we flush water would not stop running we had to open lid and manually close flapper

The room was clean, grounds clean, front desk staff friendly.

The room smells bad, you can also detect the urine smell. It was not clean enough, the dining room was messy, and they had no good coffee, sad!
- 5/5
Friendly but overall a good stay.

First of all the young lady that checked me in was not the friendliest. So after a long day of flights and traveling that just sucked to have suck unfriendly person at the hotel. Went to my room and jumped in the shower to realize there were no towels. Called downstairs to let her know and she refused to bring me any towels stating that protocol said she couldn’t leave the front desk and that I would have to come down and get them myself. Remember I’m wet in the shower. I had to dry myself with the shirt I had just taken off to go downstairs and get towels. Come back up stairs to finish my shower to then realize that there was no soap in the shower either so I had to shower with shampoo. There was a few small things in the garbage telling me that no one had cleaned that room at all. So needless to say I will not be staying in this hotel ever again.
- 3/5
Ok, needs improvement, but ok for a few nights stay.
- 5/5
I Love the way you run business
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Staff was helpful with the barking dog across the hallway and with restaurants in the surrounding area.
- 3/5
Old needs improvement
- 5/5
Great location if you are visiting six flags nice hotel the only problem I had was the bath tub water didn’t drain good
- 2/5
The room was great but the 100 dollar surprise deposit per room, was an issue along with a 3.99 parking fee, which we were told was to pay for the security company they hired to watch the property. Don't charge separately for this. That's like charging money to add eggs to the breakfast. C'Mon people.
- 3/5

The room was ok - the bathroom was gross. Poop or vomit stains on the wall. 2 bugs in the tub and everything was rundown and paint was peeling.
- 4/5
Other than that, it was conveniently located and a decent option for the price
- 5/5
It’s right around the corner of the shopping center I loved the hotel!! It was so nice and the staff was very friendly definitely do plan on coming back!
- 1/5
When I got there they assigned my room key but someone was already in the room. The next day I needed my room key reactivated but apparently the lady didn’t change the information in the system from the previous day so the clerk made it very difficult for me to get back into the room I stayed in the previous night, which was the room all my belongings were in. I had to go and grab the security guard for assistance
- 3/5
When I called to make sure to get adjoining rooms the front desk person proudly mention the breakfast bagel bar so I was a little bummed to find 2 bagel options, butter, jam, peanut butter, and 2 cream cheese options. There was no coffee in the room, there was white debris in the ice, dead bugs in the hallway, and maid came in and removed our used towels but did not replace them so when we got back from a late night at Seaworld I had to go downstairs to get wash cloths and hand towels just so I could wash my face and go to bed. I had expected more because it was a Hilton but even as I could hear kids running up and down the halls screaming because they could scream, I reminded myself you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
When checking in, we were not advised of breakfast hours or anything about wireless internet. We aren’t expecting fanfare, but general information is always welcomed! The housekeeping staff was LOVELY that we spoke to on our floor. I was really impressed how nice they were and kind. The room was clean, but the AC sounded like it had a mouse scratching away in the inside. If we weren’t so tired after coming back from Six Flags I may have considered getting a different room. Breakfast was not well. I bit into an apple and it was way past its prime, so I had to throw it out. No coffee for quite a bit when we got there, but we shouldn’t have even tried it when it did come because it tasted like flat sparkling water coffee that had gone flat. No hot breakfast items. The oatmeal station and containers used for the toppings were messy and unmaintained, and the counters were dirty from cereal and the oatmeal toppings. We heard people talking about their rooms and am glad we kept ours in comparison. Beds though were comfortable but pillows super soft and did not provide any support. We will most likely not come back, unfortunately.
- 5/5
This was a great stay for a basic hotel line! I might even say it's better then the Tru brand. Breakfast is basic but fine. The description of "take and go" bfast was accurate - muffins, toast, yogurt, cold cereal, etc. Our room has some black mold spots in the bathroom as there's no ventilation or fan in the bathroom. We upgraded to a standard accessible king suite and the room was huge! A wet bar area (meaning a sink and countertop) and a larger then standard small fridge were included in the room. We were in town for Fiesta Texas's Freight Fest. This location was less then 2 miles from the park and blocks from the La Cantera shopping area and less then 1 mile to The Rim shopping area - so TONS of eating and shopping options. We will be back to this Spark location in November!
- 4/5
Not much breakfast options. Only saw coffee as drink option.

Please DON'T STAY HERE. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The carpet was so dirty in all the hotel, the elevator was super dirty. The worst thing was the room. We found a cockroach on the floor. It was super disgusting. Not recommended at all. Breakfast was so plain, not a lot of options. Only bread, juice and coffee.

This is a nice hotel. Very affordable. Staff was amazing. I love everything they had in the room. Shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing . 10/10 ✔️

WHEN WE WENT TO OPEN THE FRIDGE, ROACHES CAME OUT AND RAN EVERYWHERE. THE BATHTUB FAUCETS WERE VERY LOOSE AND HARD TO USE. I WOULD RECOMMENT DAILY CLEANING VERSUS EVERY OTHER DAY. THE SIGN ACTUALLY SAYS EVERY OTHER DAY.

It was clean and nice although the bathroom seem to have already some wear to it and the tub was very slippery. We enjoyed our stay overall

Checked in around 9pm was told room 404. We went to 404 and the door was open and not latched so anyone could have been in the room. Tried the key and it didn’t work so I called front desk to let them know door was not locked when I arrived and was told I had to go get a new key. Looked at the envelope key came in and room 405 was written on it. Tried the key in that door and it worked. Front desk was told all of this. Once in my room I noticed the other piece of paper is something I was to hang from in our car to park there but was not told about it or to do it so I had to walk down to put it in my vehicle. Got back to the room and tv remote wouldn’t work so called desk and was told I had to come down to get new batteries to try that. I went down again to get battteries and back up to try that and it didn’t work. Called front desk and was told that someone would be in to work in an hour to come fix the issue. After an hour someone did arrive. It ended up to be a lot of issues for a very small amount of time being there 😢.

Our family all stayed here for a total of 4 rooms which they were so kind to accomidate us on same floor and close to each other. Check in was smooth and 1st impression of hotel was good. The cleaning staff were all very nice as we interacted with them during our stay. Room was cool, clean and bed was comfy. What more can you really ask for after walking all day at Six Flags in our BEAUTIFUL TEXAS HEAT? This will be our go to when visting SA for Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Room was clean. Bathroom was an older model. There's was no kitchen. Front desk lady seemed occupied every-time we saw her. Not really friendly but wasn't rude. Just not personal-able.
- 2/5
When we arrived we were informed there was a parking fee. That information was not on the Expedia Website. In addition there was not blowdryer in the room. I tried to call the front desk about the blowdryer but the phone in the room did not work. I went to the desk and the clerk was not able to locate a blowdryer at that time. I returned to the desk the following morning and was provided a blowdryer. I cannot believe that Expedia list this as a 3 Star property. I don't believe I will book through Expedia again.

Ac unit was not cooling right and the Ice machine on the floor was not working

Excellent for just 1 night. Very quiet and clean. Don't understand the parking fee but oh well.
- 4/5
Some of the towels were dirty. The staff did not look professional at all. No uniform, not well groomed he did not look presentable or clean, but nice. Other than that it was good
- 2/5
The room was horrible. There were gnats and roaches all over the room. It was extremely uncomfortable to stay in, and we were only there for one night. It was a fight to get additional towels for the room, and we had to go to the front desk to get them. No room service whatsoever. The continental breakfast was not fresh or served with care. I also was unable to ask about the incidental fee I paid at check in. I expect the full incidental fee to be returned to my card immediately, especially due to the fact that I was unaware of this fee at the time of booking. I will never come back to this hotel.
- 4/5
Honestly, after reading some of the reviews on this hotel, I was tempted to cancel. I'm glad I didn’t. It was clean, close to all of our destinations, and the beds were really comfortable.

We have stayed here three times within the past year. The place is great and it’s a good value. The property is very clean. Staff is good. The location is great. We will continue staying here when we visit SA.
- 3/5
We stayed on the 1st floor near an outside door. Only issue with that is the door would slam when someone walked out. It did not close slowly on its own. Dealt with the loud bangs all night. Management needs to fix the issue.

The room had a fu ky smell... the shower was dirty. The towels had stains. The hallway looked like ut had not been vacuumed in a while, there were hair dust ball clusters on the corners. The A/C took a while to cool down the room. Overall we didn't enjoy the stay, wouldn't really stay again nor recommend anyone to stay. For the price and to even have to pay parking fee I had better stays at motels than this.

I’ve stayed here numerous times before. It is a fair place to stay. However, upon check in tonight I was told of a new $4 parking fee. This was frustrating as it was hidden in the details. That should be covered in the price of the stay.

Close to the cantera. I have stay here several times, even it is a small charge, I don’t think we should pay for parking lot m. After all it is not like someone is watching for our car.

Room was fine. Bed and bathroom were ok. No drawer space anywhere. Carpet was pretty dirty based on my kids feet after walking around for a while. Water in bathroom sink struggled to get out. Seems like aerator needed to be cleaned. Door was hard to open. TV remote was super finicky. Breakfast wasn't that great. Mostly carbs: bagels, cereal, muffins, juice, oatmeal. There was a small yogurt bar that my family enjoyed, but nothing hot. Cold hard boiled eggs were available to be warmed in the microwave by the front desk. The dining area was pretty small and during the busy time it was hard to move around. There were quite a few fruit flies in the rooms. The staff did clean the room while we were gone so that was nice. The AC did it's job for sure. Was actually too cold at times. Better that than too hot. We did get to hear the fireworks from fiesta texas each night, so there's that. Overall it was a fine stay. The room was comfortable enough, staff was helpful enough, and the price was manageable. Hopefully my deposit comes back without too much hassle. We might stay again. It was in a very convenient part of town for what we needed.
- 2/5
They also charged 4 dolars for parking, why not sure? Checked in, got the room go in there and it was a mess the beds were not made, abd there were roaches on the ground and countertops... Elevators and hallway ac was not working... Requuested to speak to manager and not available, was told sorry we are full no pther rooms available, we will jist give you a refund!!! And yes you can takk to the manager tomorrow morning wheneever he gest in! Had to get the front desk attendant to help me get another hotel for us to stay, she did find one available at the Spark dominion, got to the new hotel and what a totally difference experience! Clean Ac works No larking fee Only 25 dolar refundable deposit Room was cleaned Dare to say that the issue here and difference between places is management
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Remodeled satisfactorily, but not new looking.
- 5/5
Everything is good the only thing I didn't like, is the smoke alarm was beeping because needs batteries, we call at the front desk and they said that someone will fix the problem, nobody showed up. Also they charge for the parking space.
- 1/5
I never got a chance to stay or experience the hotel. I have stayed in previous sparkhotels. Specifically in Tucson,AZ, and it was great. I was still in Tucson when i booked the reservation in San Antonio and I had booked 12 hours prior to my scheduled arrival but they canceled my booking.due to overlooking issue when I was two hours away from my destination after driving for twelve hours

The room had bugs and roaches. The pillows smelled dirty and TV did not work. We changed rooms to another floor and we had the same problem. Do not recommend it.
- 2/5
Bugs everywhere and extra fee for parking. Room was okay but rest of building was very dirty.
- 3/5
The room was not equipped with what they said on description, no microwave or coffee machine etc which I check on before staying at a hotel because I need to heat water for a medicine I take. They said they could not “allow” to use the one at the lobby either because it was not breakfast hours. The room description says rooms has fridge, microwave etc.. also there were a lot of bugs, and parking is charged separately. Only good thing was location.

This had to be the worst stay we have experienced. I booked because the ratings were an 8 star, so I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, but at least clean. The first room they put us in my daughter & I went to lay down the whole bedding was wet. Not damp but wet. So I called front desk to see if they can get a dry set. Lady said they had no more bedding & she would see if they had another open room. I was already grossed out by the walls how dirty they were, but it was last min stay. She never called back so I called, and she moved us rooms. That room was worse as soon as we walked my husband, kids, and myself felt like we were choking on how much cologne was in the room. Idk if the ppl just left but it was so strong. We tried not to complain but then as we went to the rr I noticed what looked like blood on the floor where the toilet was, and then a poop mark on the toilet. The walls FILTY! After trying not to bug, my son got a headache from the smell. So my husband went to the front desk, she moved us again. At this point all we wanted was some sleep as it was late. This room felt more promising definitely not the best but walls weren’t AS disgusting. Shortly after laying down the AC unit started to screech extremely loud, so we tried to turn it off. However the room became hot and muggy and had an awful smell. The AC kept knocking and screeching to the point where we were just over it. We went to the front and checked out. Plus they refused to refund anything.
- 5/5
The room was clean and a/c worked very well. The only bad things is that the hallways are hot except for the 1st floor hallway.

We moved our son into college and stayed here overnight. We had nice big rooms and it was very quiet even being right off the freeway.

I didn't like the breakfast.

Service was good but the restroom in room was not good condition had maintenance wake us up with complaints about the water level in tube spilling in lobby before giving us the room check before everything is fine.
- 2/5
Convenient area to stay for 6 flags and other attractions. Perfect place for an entomophile as well. Had a roach in my doorway when I checked in on Thursday and was still there Sunday (Told front desk about the door roach on Friday). Unexpected bonuses after check in was another roach in the room as well as numerous knats. Room supplied with 1 roll of TP, 0 bars of soap on sink, and not even a remote control in the room upon check in.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Everything was nearby.

Con’s: the elevator and hallway areas were very hot and humid. The trash cans for the parking area were constantly full and overflowing. Parking was not readily available and the parking lot was dark at night. There was no access to movies or entertainment features other than subscriptions in room TV’s. Neutrals: The breakfast was good, oatmeal, cereal, bread, bagels, jams, milk, juice and coffee. No eggs or bacon etc. Overall good, and when needing a quick breakfast it will do! If you’re wanting a real breakfast or brunch Cracker Barrel or breakfast tacos can be purchased nearby! The whataburger was under remodeling so we didn’t have that as an option, but that can help provide more food options. Not a bad location if visiting six flags or just passing by. Good experience.

Nice and quiet
- 3/5
It’s not terrible for the price but it can definitely use some upgrades. There was broken tiles in the bathroom and the tube spout was exposed. The room was clean but the walls and furniture could use more attention. The beds are very comfortable. The coffee is good and the breakfast has minimal choices but it’s definitely enough.

Was expecting more from a Hilton. They charge you $4 a day for parking with security. Never once saw a security guard or truck driving around. The room was nice, but the bathroom needed work. Tiny tub with a big bar that takes up most of the space. The toilet seat was loose and falling off which made it a challenge to use the toilet. The sink was also falling off of the wall. Set my toiletries bag down and it shifted. Was scared to use the sink. Breakfast wasn't great. I did like that they had yogurt toppings. If you want a fuller breakfast or late night snack there is a Whataburger conveniently across the street. Overall, not impressive. Not enough to make me want to stay again and spend extra money just because it's a Hilton.

Nice facility and comfortable beds. Upon arrival, I found a wash rag in the tub left behind. Also, be aware of the unannounced parking fee until check in. But overall, very convenient and nice place.

Restroom cleanliness left much to be desired

Comfortable bed and mostly clean room. Staff was very nice and helpful. Tiny flies everywhere - hallway, stairs, room - were concerning.

I would not stay here again..the paint in the ceiling was chipping, the lamp was full of mold. Dead roach when I got out of the elevator. Stains on towels.. do not be tricked only because it has “by Hilton”.. I wouldn’t be complaining if I paid less for the room but I paid 144 for a place that is not even worth that price …if I had paid 80 ok but I’ve paid less for a room and it was in way better condition…my allergies were so bad I didn’t even stay the second night I left …really disappointed…I really don’t see how the Hilton brand sponsors this hotel…STAY AWAY…I also took pictures…I wish I can post them so everyone can see
- 5/5
If you want a budget-friendly stay with minimal amenities, then Sparks by Hilton is the right one for you. Clean, quiet and convenient. A few details: Incidentals are $100. So be prepared, and they do charge an overnight parking fee, but that depends what you are booking for your stays. Super close to Six Flags. Beds are comfortable and spacious. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

The location Not clean. The AC in my room was leaking and the bathroom wasn’t well cleaned. When I called them in to clean they only changed towels, sheets but did wash the bathtub and the toilet bowl.

The location and the price through Expedia. The parking fee and lots of walking around noise. We could hear a lot of footsteps.
