Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio/Alamodome Area

The room was dirty before arrival there were stains on the bed the room had dirt all in it the bath mat and bath tub both had mold the door handle was broken the microwave and fridge was dirty I called about checking in and they told me I can check in at 1:30 I wasn’t able to check I till 8 pm this hotel was terrible I would not recommend and when I called for a refund they denied it with all the pictures I had of the room

Rooms are old and have some rest around the bathtub and signs of mold. Hotel is in a not so good area. Light breakfast that we didn't even wanna get it

Air conditioner unit is not working in room 310 ,it was a hot room had a hard time resting .

Room smelled old, but it served its purpose.

The hallways and the room smelled strongly of cleanimg chemicals. So strongly that we left after less than an hour. The rooms are pretty bare. The bed was not comfortable. There was rust around the edge of the tub. The person at the desk was not rude, but took forever getting us checked in. He told me there would be a $50 deposit charged to my card, but charged me $60.

Nice clean Everything was good, just the pool was a little too cold to stay in.

I booked this hotel for 3/14-3/15 and somehow there was a glitch in the system and it booked it for 3/12 which I was in a totally different state. Expedia is saying even though it was a glitch on their system they have to ask the hotel for a refund. I have called the hotel and spoke with dev and Jay and they both said they approved the refund. Expedia is telling me they still didn’t that I’m being lied to and I never got to stay there that day because I was in Oklahoma not in Texas. I never booked for that date. I have not seen a refund for my money and no one will return my calls. This is the worst customer service experience. Because the hotel is saying one thing and Expedia another but no one wants to refund me my money.

The room was bery clean, staff was very courteous and the motel was in a nice area.

Location and the bed was comfortable It wasn’t clean at alllllll. The elevator was all dirty with stains it was disgusting. When we got to the room it looked as if the floor had been mopped with dirty water. I used a wipe to clean some cream that I was putting on and the wipe came out BLACK. There was also residue of hair on the floor and there was a brush and dirt and pennys under the sofa. The sofa was also very dirty with crumbs and grease looking stains

Everything was good but, the water pressure from the shower was way to high, it was hard to wash and keep the shower curtain in the tub and off of me

I liked the location Staff was rude and unapproachable always giving me push back. When I was checking in I signed a form that stated the price for the stay and a few minutes late I see a charge on my account that I was charged more than I was supposed to. When I went back to ask the staff about the charge he said that there’s a deposit for incidentals and that I should’ve read the policy. There was nothing on the email confirmation or on the paper that I signed in front of him. I wasn’t aware of a deposit and never experienced paying a deposit at any hotels that I’ve stayed at. I received my deposit a few days after checking out, but I didn’t like that I wasn’t told about it. When you go out of town or on a trip, you have a budget set and know more or less how much money you’re bringing with you.

Room was very clean, all public areas very clean and disability access was available and helpful. Would stay at this facility again.

Location. The room was in rough condition, as shown in the photos. I found a cockroach in the bathtub and another on the floor. There was a used bar of soap left in the shower, rust in the tub, and hair under the toilet lid. The sink also drained very slowly. For a weekend price around $80, I expected better. I recommend staying elsewhere—it's worth paying a little more for something cleaner and comfortable.

The elevator was not working. Bathroom was not clean, dirty towel was left on bathroom floor. The bed comforter was dirty. No iron or ironing board in the room so I had to call down stairs and they only had an iron that I could use.

Very nice room, just wished the pool was opened longer for us. By the time we got back to hotel the pool was closing. And needed more breakfast options other then cereal. :( but was a nice hotel

This Super 8 location has easy access to I-37. 5 minutes at most from downtown. 4 minutes drive south to shopping and eating locations. The room was nice and clean.

Breakfast was not good at all bread seemed to be there for days. Milk had a taste was past due. Not many breakfast options. Room was very noisy could not rest hearing the stumping of other rooms. Had a door leading to other room not safe

NOTHING.... After a 7 hour drive we was tired. we did reserve this room on line but after seeing the condition to this room we started looking for something else, but everything was booked. Rooms could have been cleaned a lot better. You can still see all the dirt on the floor, due to no carpets. I had to wear socks the whole time just not to feel the dirtiness. there was blood speared on the wall, Called front desk to come , they sprayed something and stated it was not blood., but yes it was. It was more like someone poked their nose to hard and speared it on the wall. Ice machines was not working any where on premises. Asked for towels on second day of our stay and we had to wait until some came available. we will never stay here again.

We were staying on a family trip. Two adults and two kids. We asked the front desk for a second bar of soap and an extra shampoo and they refused. Our room had chewed up gum on tbt bed rail and the bread at breakfast had mold on it.

I didn’t like being on the second floor and whoever was on the 3rd floor on top had kids and you could hear them running around and making noise it was ok for the price I guess but won’t stay there again And I had to wait to check out no one was at the front it took about 10 mins before someone finally came to check out to get my deposit back it’s a no return for me‼️

The breakfast is not even a breakfast it was horrible had like 3 items thay you would serve all day. The floors left our feet black at the bottom and my shower was clogged.

Also the person doing check in could not speak English. Seriously, if your job is interacting with the public, you have to speak the language.

If you’re staying here. Make sure no one visits your hotel room with a pet even if it’s beyond your control. The owner of this hotel kicked me and my kids out because someone visited my daughter with a service animal. He called the police and asked me to live with my kids after I had already paid. No refund was given. The front desk guy was confrontational and had zero understanding for mankind. This was my worst ever hotel experience. Also, the police informed me that I did not have to leave due to having already paid but I chose to leave since the owner had deactivated my room key and created a hostile environment. I didn’t want to have my children in that type of environment so I left and had to drive back to Austin. I was grossly inconvenienced by this hotel.

No option of wheat bread

We ended up just leaving. The floors were dirty in the room and the bathroom had stains everywhere. The area the hotel was located was a little sketchy and I didn’t feel comfortable staying with only girls.

The area was very quiet and easy to get to, unfortunately we did not have the friendliest experience at check in, the room was clean but very dark not a lot of light in the room, and was very hard to get access into our room with our key card.

Broken vending machine, subpar breakfast (cereal,milk, bread) locked pool area on arrival shouldve been opened since 10. Tv only had channels. No apps. Old. Small. Room was large but ac couldnt do its job. Mini fridge didnt have freezer area, Bath had damage to seal around bathtub. Floor was super dirty. The total atmosphere here was get out asap.

The property is in pretty good shape and pretty clean. The little things bothered a little. No kleenex in the room, no coffee in the room and they only offer coffee during breakfast. The floor in the room was filthy. Breakfast was pretty much bare minimum. All in all i liked the motel, but they need to up their game.

The my credit card being pre-authorized for 50 dollars twice. This is the only complaint I have.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Ice machines were broken. The breakfast sucked all they had was yogurt bread and cereal, Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran the 2 worst kinds, the milk that was out for the cereal tasted rotten. The juice machines didn’t work and spit out basically water

Came down for a day to come to the Alamo bowl. I do YouTube and typically stay and a fancier hotel and get content and do reviews, but for one day I figured let’s try something different and I was impressed.

Hotel was in a nice location, staff during check in was very kind and accommodating. Beds and pillows were clean and comfy, air nice and cool, shower hot with good pressure, and pool fun for the kids. Microwave didn't work, walls very thin and you can hear everything. My 2 year old was singing during her bath time late at night (we had a long day!) and we got notified by management neighbors were complaining about noise. Breakfast consists of toast and cereal, coffee, and juice not working. Milk was spoiled. Probably would't stay again.

Honestly I did not think the property was going to be up to or over my expectations, but I was very impressed! I loved it! The room was clean and the property was safe and in a very nice area. I will definitely be back.

Not all channels were accessible. Bathroom floor was not clean and some parts of room. Bed made up with unclean sheets.

Property was smelling bad from the trash they were putting outside and near elevator. Even the walk ways and inside the room it was smelling bad. Poor quality shower curtains which were flying off when you on the shower du to the pressure of the shower making bathroom floor and wet and dirty. I may never stay at this place again, also if I had an option As it was for one nigth I didn't make any effort to look for another hotel.

There were out of order signs on vending machines and doors (going where?) You can only enter by the front door. There were only two handicap spaces so in the evening when returning had to park in the back of the hotel. Side door can not be opened from outside (not even with key card). So had to use walker and return to front of hotel to enter. It was a little scary due to the lack of other business around the hotel.

The room was big with a couch area, all looked clean, bed was comfy. We had all we needed. Nothing fancy but easy to get to, people are nice and convenient to other things. Have stayed here several times.

The front desk was very unwelcoming. We asked for extra pillows and told they don’t carry extra pillows. The only service they provide is comfort for your stay, but lack this simple comfort. The front desk lady was rude and indifferent.

Came into town for a concert at the Alamodome. We were looking for a decent place nearby. I regretted booking this hotel, it was not what I expected for the price. I felt it was old and unclean. I felt so uncomfortable I avoided showering during our 1-night stay. The shower was gross and dirty. You won’t find the accommodations you’d find in other hotels, such as, the lobby was small and “breaKfast” was unworthy of even considering. Overall, it’s okay if this is all your budget can afford, but if you can spend a few more dollars on a better hotel, I highly encourage you to do so!

Room was ok clean bed. Our truck was broken into and robbed took our lab top and iPad that was hidden under seat. Park in front!!!

The stay was good however, the room was not cleaned completely. The carpet was not vacuum correctly because the carpet was showing a lot of stuff on it. But other than that, it seems cleaned.

The heater in the room didn’t work in the night. The weather was cold and the heater was drawing in the cold air. While I got sick and couldn’t stay my entire trip. They tried to keep the entire balance but after 2-3 day I was refunded. I appreciate booking through Expedia that’s how I got my refund. The back of the property over looked a cluttered dirty old piece of property not revealed in the add on Expedia

Refrigerator was knocking. AC not working shower had rust marks. otherwise room / hotel clean and staff very courteous. Hotel east to get to.

TV remote was broken. Went to the desk and got another. Still didn't work.

Besides the fact the hotel was dirty we found bugs (not sure what kind) on the nightstand and bed. When asking for a refund we’re forced to wait until a manager could arrive 30 minutes later. Luckily we had taken pictures to prove they were in the room. We received a refund but I was put off by the manager who did not offer one apology for the inconvenience this caused us. My recommendation, avoid this hotel.

Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood

Everyone is friendly and check-in is easy. Room is clean and bed is comfy. TV, frig, coffee maker in room and I think microwave too. Breakfast is granola bar, coffee, juice. Ihop is walking distance and 10 percent discount. The location is great. I've stayed here many times and will come back.

Horrible hotel management

Hotel was nice and clean. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Hotel was quiet and great location right off the fwy, so getting back and forth from downtown was very easy and quick. Plenty of on-site parking and front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a very well kept budget hotel.

Had a good time at our concert and a good sleep afterwards. No complaints. Thumbs up.

I've stayed here several times. The people are nice, the rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is comfy and always hot water in the shower. Breakfast is still only a granola bar and coffee or juice but there's a 10 percent discount at the Ihop that's walking distance away. The location is good, too. Well i just didn’t like the property surrounding, my window had a view to a persons backyard and the yard looked kinda sketch. But the hotel can’t help that. It is what it is. Not a deal breaker.

Initially as i closed the door there was a small roach on door knob. After that didn't see anymore. The room was decent, bed comfortable. I slept very well. Conveniently off the expressway. Close to downtown.
