    Stayed there for 2 nights and it was ok for the price. Bathroom the si k was clogged and the tub. Once repotted were able to fix in a timely manner. No ice maker on your floor and went to the floor where there is the only ice maker in the entire hotel and it was broken🙁Fire alarm went off and all the staff kind ignored. While some guest didn’t know what to do. Will not stay there again

    Extremely disappointed with my stay. The soundproofing was terrible — I could hear the baby from the next room crying throughout the entire night, making it impossible to get any sleep. On top of that, the bedside outlet made a constant buzzing/electrical noise, which was both annoying and concerning from a safety standpoint. To make matters worse, the bathroom exhaust fan was completely non-functional, leaving the bathroom stuffy and poorly ventilated. For the price paid, the room quality and maintenance were well below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

    The lobby looks great and gives a strong first impression, but the elevator feels very old and dirty, with a huge stain that was hard to ignore. The shower water knob and the restroom door were both partially broken, although they were still usable.

    Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable, even though it was a little squeaky. We didn't have a table on the left side of the bed, and when asked about it, the staff graciously accommodated us with one. It was nice and quiet. We also appreciated the nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion that was provided. They all smelled lovely! All in all, a wonderful stay!

    Let's start with the good: it was quiet at night. Not near a freeway, or busy highway. The bad: the property was feeling tired, worn out, and in need of TLC. Tile grout needed to be replaced, bathroom floor was dirty, Breakfast not included, and they charged a fee to park in the parking lot. As far as the staff goes, they were friendly at check-in but when we asked if we could have a late check out, not so nice. Said the hotel was sold out and they needed to clean the room. Could not give us an extra half hour. When time came to leave the property, there wasn't a sole in the lobby and the parking lot was 95% empty. It was a Monday, the place was empty. Anyways, would have been better with updated bathrooms, include breakfast and don't charge for parking at a location where parking is plentiful.

    Terrible shower design. The shower area was a rectangular space with the showerhead located in the middle, so water couldn’t be contained. Despite my best efforts, the bathroom flooded during my shower. There were no shower caps or soap provided. The faucet had water stains and looked unclean. The balcony was flooded as well — I don’t know where the water was coming from. The rest of the room was acceptable, but the bedsheet had a stain. I expected a better-maintained room for $145.

    Was so disappointed to hear no free breakfast. Ordering hot breakfast from minimal menu took a long time and was so expensive and annoying. Also room wasn’t worth it without breakfast. And dinging from elevators at 5am was absurd

    I had booked this hotel for one night and then a different hotel closer to sea world for two nights, but when we arrived at the other hotel it turned out to be more of a motel. We felt so safe during our previous night at Hilton garden inn so we came back and paid the higher rate that comes with booking the day of. It was worth it for peace of mind while traveling with my family and we will be back on our next trip.

    The metal handle on the bathroom door just fell off on the floor. There was only one nightstand on a king sized bed. The exit door to the parking lot was open but in the morning it locked me outside and I had to walk through the entire parklot and the lobby just to get back in my room.

    The room.was tidy and everything worked well. The bed was a little hard but we managed to sleep quite well and had a nice quiet night so we could have an amazing rest of our vacation amazing. The only thing that would have been nicer is if the second elevator was working because a solo eorking elevator made for a little longer wait sometimes but staff was super friendly and made it better.

    Yes, the room was clean and smelled of fresh furniture. By the banging next door I assume it was just renovated. Lights by the beds didn't make much sense, but didn't need to use them. Staff was friendly, and let us know - after checking in - that there is construction on the weekend. Luckily they didn't start at 8:30a on Sunday on our floor, as we were told they would. I will probably stay with you again, as my son lives across the road and I live in Los Angeles.

    The room was peculiarly set up. Lights in wall on each side of bed cannot work as reading lights because they cannot bend. They are like searchlights glaring into the room if turned on. Large chair was very uncomfortable. Remote did not work. Likely needs batteries. Because room is not serviced everyday we had to get coffee and tea pods from downstairs. Staff at registration was friendly and helpful. General sense that premises are maintained at a B rather than an A level.

    Always try to stay at a Hilton but this one is old and smells of mold. The front desk sent someone to room to purify the air said it wold take 1 hr, so we stayed at the bar/restaurant for 3 hrs, go to our room and it was filled with white powder, burned my throat, had to request room change, beds are old, tub had hair from previous tenant. Food was good though. Wouldn't stay there again. The price for the room doesn't match the quality of the room. This Hilton needs a refresh. Badly. Two other families experienced the same mold smell in their rooms.

    Daily parking fee of $12 is terrible. Feds are going after businesses that tack on hidden/unnecessary fees. I got stonewalled when I complained that it allowed the hotel to advertise cheaper room rates than actual. Further, front desk wasn't aware of this sign, posted prominently by the elevators: "Our goal is to make your stay better and brighter. If something isn't just the way you like it, simply let any hotel team member know, and we will make is right. Guaranteed." Well, that pledge is bogus. Guess I won't be staying at any Hilton Garden Inn in the future. Caveat emptor.

    When we checked in the front desk agent was friendly and nice and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I mentioned to her that we were going to have dinner at Ruth's Chris, Steak House, and she recommended a restaurant in Del Mar, that was near the racetrack that had a nice view, and we decided to take her advice, and we ended up having a wonderful seafood meal with great service and a nice view.

    The lobby is nice , the rooms are very dated. Carpet has a smell like it needs to be replaced. No working ice machines on either floors. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, if the sink water was running or the toilet flushing the shower water was cold and just a drip.

    Got hotel, receptionist tells me we have a balcony....in room, trying to see the environment surrounding us, there was the construction of the loby impeading to see. Next day in the morning the fire alarm was before 8.00 hrs, called reception and they said it was real, to leave the romm ASAP. came down thru the emergency lader, all people out, took our lugage to our car. At the time the firemen came, looks that was a microeave malfunction: A thi time went next door for breakfast, at the end went to room to shower-was about 9:45 AM, the room was with sheets out...did not register out but the personnel came to start cleaning ......well, not a peaceful stay!!

    Very nice, convivial hotel. They had a bar in the hotel where you could get light meals. It was open late. Bed super comfy. The only negative, which is pretty trivial, is that the hotel was a bit down at the heels here and there. But overall, well worth the price

    I had a balcony room and I was super happy that I was actually able to use it. The area is super quiet weekdays and weekends. The staff is very helpful and polite. The freeway was near by so that made it that much better. I would totally stay here again.

    This will be our third stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. WE normally book this great hotel on the way to the Goodguys car show. It is clean, quiet and within a very close proximity to where we are going. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it is close to many restaurants and Whole foods

    I didn’t go any further. Stayed in the hallway and called the front desk. They assigned me another room on another floor ( I actually used the room key to open it). The rooms need to be updated. Lobby is nice. Loved the robot (Batman).

    It was pretty noisy so we didn’t get super restful nights of sleep. Not only was our ac unit loud, but we could hear every other unit around us as well, all going off at different times. When the freshened up our room the first time they didn’t replenish the toilet paper or Kleenex. Water pressure in the shower was awful. Pool area was a bit outdated as well. Staff was very kind and the room itself was nice enough. Just expected a bit more out of a Hilton. Also found it odd that we had to go to the hotel next door to get a breakfast that we had to pay for. Had I known that, we probably would have just opted to go eat out at local places. Kind of defeats the convenience we were looking for with that.

    Overall, the trip was great. The only issue is noise control. The noise from our upstairs neighbor made it difficult to sleep in the mornings, from footsteps and loud thuds to noise from water pipes when flushing the toilet and showering.

    The hotel is a bit tired. It could use a refresher. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. We had an issue with the thermostat but after a few hours it got resolved. The staff is very friendly and very helpful especially Ms. Linda she was very pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us.

    As with all Hilton garden inn's the front foyer and reception area is great. Elevators were old and rickety. The carpets needed some work. Room did not have ample lighting. Front desk says housekeeping is only every other day while checking in, not while booking. Then breakfast is a cafe which has some pricey options.
