Reviews
The hotel reviews collectively indicate a negative experience for most guests. The rooms are consistently described as dirty, with issues ranging from unclean bathrooms to stained sheets and towels. The parking situation is also a common complaint, with guests finding it difficult to park due to the small size of the lot.
- Great location
- Friendly staff
- Dirty rooms
- Small and congested parking lot
- 5/5
The only downside was the dusty floors and I was possibly missing some towels upon check in, there was an empty space where a towel maybe should havr been. However the property was beautiful, everything was updated showing the owners really take care of their property. Quiet, nice size rooms, comfortable bed and free parking. Absolutely deserves another stay, amd great for a first time visitor. See you all again soon!
- 2/5
Location was good. Bed was uncomfortable, no tissue in the room and no wash clothes. No staff on site to contact
- 5/5
Great location and staff was very helpful!
- 4/5
Room was clean but you can tell the place is a little dated before their remodel. But they left certain things not remodeled. Like the bathtub had some nicks in it. Shower curtain had some weird spots on them. Very basic room. Nothing fancy but because I needed a place to literally sleep for two nights, it wasn’t that bad and I got good sleep. Bed was clean. Front office couldn’t really understand English. I would say overall a 3/5 stay experience. Average, not best, and not poor.
- 1/5
The rooms looked nothing like the pictures! It was old and very basic room. Bed was hard. No decor on the wall just two pillows on the bed and blanket is thin . No thick comforter. Will not stay here again!
- 4/5
It's a place to crash after a long day, not to spend time in. Your bed won't be.made. Fresh towels are by request. No phones in the rooms, so if you need anything, you must go to the desk. The previous client had medium length straight black hair and was travelling with a lady who had longer straight black hair. I'll let you figure out how I know that. Goid value, but you get what you pay for. I won't skimp on the hotel again...
- 5/5
This was a nice surprise! Was one of the least expensive choices in SD and yet it was new, clean, and honestly a very well done space! I enjoyed the balcony view of the city and the quiet room. Fabulous off-street parking.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. Our room was exceptionally clean, and everything—from the fixtures and beds to the amenities—was spotless, modern, and well maintained. The room felt fresh and updated, and we especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was. It made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
My stay here was wonderful. The staff were very polite and helpful. They allowed for a 3 hour early check in. Frequently asking if we needed anything when we’d be walking out to our car that was parked on site. Overall great experience! I’ll be staying here again! Everything seemed new and remodeled.
- 4/5
First, the likes. Very clean property and very close to places to eat, coffee, breakfast, lunch. Parking is underground and safe. Room and bathroom were very recently remodeled so very nice and contemporary. We were disappointed that there was no microwave or hair dryer. The refrigerator did not work, but we did not need it. I told the manager as we were leaving so I'm sure it is being replaced. The room stays fairly well lit at night. The outdoor lights illuminate the room and blackout curtains are needed. The TV was nice and big. Ice machine in lobby provided adequate ice. The people running the property were friendly.

Minimalist vibe . Clean .
- 5/5
My boyfriend and I had a great stay here. The owner is extremely kind and always willing to lend a hand. Such a clean and pretty space. Highly recommend
- 1/5
Worst stay I’ve ever had at an Inn. No sound proofing, no black out curtains, half a roll of toilet paper for a five night stay, fridge didn’t work, remote didn’t work, limited parking that fills quickly, dirty ac unit, only two things pillows for a king bed, and no housekeeping.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Very helpful staff. We really liked our room. Bed was very comfortable.
- 3/5
Machine. No art on the walls.
- 5/5
Everything was great except for the part of no microwave more coffee maker. Not a quiet place to stay, but very good staff to work with. Parking is very tight, but doable!
- 3/5
This is a pretty nice place and reasonably priced for its location. There is a shared balcony with views of downtown. There is some off street parking but it is very minimal. There was a lot of after hours (after midnight) noise that was not addressed until a guest called it out, I don't know if there isn't overnight staff, but it was obnoxious and it was a weekday. There are also missing common amenities like a hair dryer. But the biggest issue is that the window blinds, even when fully closed, let in an incredible amount of light. I woke up several times in the middle of the night and couldn't tell if it was 3am or 3pm from how bright the bedroom was. All in all, id stay here again, but id have to bring a sleep mask, a hair dryer, and possibly a white noise machine.
- 1/5
Bad stay over all got there an hour before checking guy said he could check me in early $10 cash I said ok as soon as got to the window he said now it was $30 to get in early mind you this was a $40+ room rental. I said what happened to he said ok ok $20 so instantly felt extorted. I waited for the room at that point. Checked in, put us right on the front corner of main road. He's working on the hotel and had no problem with starting construction early early morning. Just dont stay here.
- 5/5
Clean nice

Neu renoviertes Zimmer und Bad. Bad etwas klein, Waschbecken außerhalb im Eigentlichen Zimmer
- 1/5
Let me start by saying that our biggest issue with this location was that the pictures online didn't match the IRL experience at all. Staff was friendly and the place was fairly clean, but overall it's an extremely low budget motel. The towels had stains, fridge didn't work, shades don't block outside light, and our bathroom door had a huge hole in it (looked like someone punched it). Value for the money was not there. Unfortunately would not stay again.
- 5/5
Staff extremely friendly. Very clean room. No complaints.
- 4/5
Near airport.
- 1/5
This place was absolutely horrible. There were no amenities. The towels were not real towels. My husband said they felt like jail towels. There wasn’t any real soap. It just is not a good place to stay if you wanna be close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and stuff, I would pick another hotel in the area and just pay the extra money. Do not stay here
- 5/5
Great new property. I love the room and design. Good clean and great staff
- 5/5
Best staff !
- 5/5
Best hotel in Point Loma. I love the modern sleek finish. Staff was great. It’s a great location.
- 5/5
Yes everything was good except the tv was not working. There was no microwave.
- 5/5
The current owners have down so much to rehab what looks like a rather older, perhaps once run down property. The new paint, facilities-beds, rehabbed restrooms, really shine! The price was right and I would definitely recommend and return! Thank you Lyfe
- 5/5
The rooms are clean, stylish, and super comfortable, and the overall vibe of the hotel is both relaxing and elevated. You can tell a lot of effort went into creating a space that feels both trendy and welcoming. Highly recommend LYFE San Diego if you’re looking for a great stay with unbeatable views and a beautifully updated atmosphere.

This is by far the WORST customer service experience I have ever received. I will NEVER stay at this hotel and I have warned all of my friends about my experience. The hotel management should be ashamed of themselves for treating paying customers like this.
- 5/5
AMAZING
- 3/5
Room condition was a bit dated. I liked having garage parking. It was a bit noisy at night, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Good location and the price was right.
- 3/5
The property is dated and in dire need of some love- and they are actually doing some renovation! Literally from 7 am til 8:30 pm nonstop!!! ( I was in room 302, right above me.) The place is as clean as an old house can be, smells musky, but the bed is comfy, and the sheets are fresh. There was only one, very thin blanket on the bed - and the AC in the room was set to 60F when I arrived... The best part about the room was the shower: it's strong, powerful, great to stand underneath- just be careful, because the water is scorching hot!! Bring toiletries! The place wasn't full when I visited in January, and there was ample parking, but it is tight, and if you have a larger vehicle, you might have a problem maneuvering in the tiny garage. The area is safe to walk around, even in the dark, and there are several places to eat around: the Fish Shop is expensive, but fabulous. There is a Thai place about a block away - reasonable and fresh. Across the street, there is a pub with great drinks, food, and atmosphere. A couple blocks away, you find a marvelous Japanese restaurant- don't miss it! All in all, if you don't expect the Ritz Carlton, you will be ok for a few days
- 1/5
The front desk guy was rude and sketchy. The location of motel is ok but the motel itself is HORRIBLE! The clientele it serves were super shady and scary looking. The room we were assigned but super is such disrepair. Holes in the walls, rust and mold on the tub and bathroom. There was a hairdryer attached to the wall but the hair dryer itself was cut off and missing. They only gave us one towel that was so worn and paper thin and a wash cloth that looked like a microfiber towel you use to wash your car. Hubby went down to ask for another towel and the desk guy was hesitant and gave him a look like why would you need another towel for only 2 people. The bed was extremely hard and you can feel every spring and bump in it, pillows were horrible as well and only 2 little pillows were in the room. Sheets and pillow cases had stains on them, walls stained and grimy. Hotels.com should really not be offering this place as a viable place to stay. Only reason we stayed was because we had no car and only had 6 hours before a flight in the morning. Worst experience ever!
- 4/5
Good for money but needs to work on cleanliness
- 4/5
BED WAS UNCOMFORTABLE AND OVERALL THE HOTEL IS PRETTY RUN DOWN BUT THE FRONT DESK SERVICE WAS GREAT AND OVERALL FELT PRETTY SAFE THERE. AMPLE PARKING AND GOOD FOOD SPOTS IN WALKING DISTANCE.
- 1/5
Blood on the sheet. Toilet was disgusting, round toilet seat on an oval toilet. No top sheet, just a dirty blanket. Do not stay here.
- 1/5
I didn't even stay there I want my money back
- 3/5
The photos in those rooms are misleading when it comes to quality. I stayed for two nights it’s a decent stay
- 5/5
#A man's shirt in our closet. #guy checking us in was friendly # room feels like it will be safe for the night #dark Street. Taxi didn't see the hotel on first pass
- 3/5
Front desk gave us a hard time about our service dog upon arrival, even though they were told we had a dog when we made and paid for the reservation. Also, he insisted on a cash $100 refundable pet deposit, which we handed over to avoid further headaches. The room was adequate, but that's the most we can say about it. It was pretty banged up and barely clean. Furniture was unsightly, but we lived with it. The location is about the only redeeming quality of this motel.
- 1/5
Horrible, don’t go here.
- 1/5
Very disappointed with this hotel stay, no parking in parking lot. Hotel was kind of sketchy. Bed was hard as a rock, just had a sheet and thin blanket, bathroom floor was cracked and lifting, and limited lighting. No customer service when it came to getting trash picked up, or having enough toilet paper for 3 days.
- 1/5
Look at the guest photos, those are more honest. The room we got was pretty awful. I understand and am usually okay with an outdated room, old furniture, etc., but this seemed like there was no attempt at making the guests feel comfortable or safe. We had a microwave in the bathroom, 3 different tv remotes, dirty bedding, and no extra TP in the room. The bathroom fan was broken or wasn’t powerful enough because after a shower, the TP would just feel moist from the trapped moisture. The bar soap was so rough on your skin. There were also people, transients, just hanging out in the basement parking garage. Our room didn’t even have a number, we had to just try a door and see if the key worked. I think for the price, we could’ve at least had better towels and enough towels. No hand towels were even provided. The staff was available and accessible so that was nice. At first glance or the place and room, we almost decided against staying but didn’t want to be out of $$ we had already paid. The area isn’t terrible and the bar across the street was fun just don’t pay the jukebox because the staff will skip your $7 song only to play Fergie.
- 2/5
Doors have no seals, you can hear everything outside and the walls are very thin.
- 4/5
Dislikes: unable to figure out how to access local tv channels - only had HDMI GRIT channel; no tissues in room; had trouble finding entry to office from street; office was very minimal - behind glass cubical; no help available for baggage; parking was in facility and adequate, but very limited number of spaces. Overall:Given that I was alone and only stayed overnight following an event on Shelter Island, the motel was very adequate.
- 1/5
I was quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The room did not feel very clean, the bathroom could have been maintained much better. There was also an unpleasant smell that made the room uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless the management improves their cleaning practices.
- 5/5
For the price and location this hotel is great. My go to when I’m down in San Diego and don’t want to break the bank

- 1/5
I didn’t stay here. We left after looking at the room. They wouldn’t refund my money, and I had to pay to stay somewhere else. But, there was no way I was staying there. It felt very unsafe, the whole place was very rundown. The room had a terrible odor. It doesn’t look like the pictures.
- 2/5
The room did not look anything like what was displayed on the site. The property doesn't really look as nice as on the site.
- 1/5
I hate writing bad reviews, but this place deserved it. The floor of the hallways were fail g apart, the bed had one thin sheet over the mattress, there was black mold in the bathroom, mystery substance splattered on the wall, and was just so dirty. We also only received one bath towel. The pictures are beyond misleading. Save yourself time and grief and book elsewhere.
- 1/5
Rooms smell like cigarettes we left middle of the night horrible hotel
- 1/5
Was very bad smell, the mirror has hands marks, the beds were very poorly made, and the mini refrigerator was rusty very disgusting’. Never cam back on this hotel
- 2/5
Property is very poorly maintained building in need of paint inside and out, third floor non-skid coming up. Towels in room were worn and only one in the room for a two day stay, no room touch up after first night. No drinking glasses in room. Only two pillows in room. Bathtub faucet leaks continuously. TV channel changer did not work correctly and was damaged. No morning coffee in the lobby. Only good news is it was relatively cheap.
- 2/5
The window was closed so the room smelled like must, mildew, stuffy, woke up congested, no coffee,no vending machine, the guy speaks another language, i cant understand a word his says..its horrible
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Stayed for one night but has all the basics someone needs for a simple stay.
- 1/5
New ownership. Place is falling apart
- 1/5
Worst hotel reservation I’ve ever attempted to book! Staff was totally unaware of our booking and suffered from a very difficult language barrier with no staff speaking English and a lack of a translator. staff was unable to establish if a room was available and once they “found” one, asked us to wait 40 minutes to clean it; which we did. After the wait they gave us a room with only one bed when we needed a room with two. Manager wanted to temporarily place us in that room and then wait another hour to come speak to us for clarification, and again also did not speak English and only knew this by utilizing google translate. When asked how much our total cost would be if we waiting again, staff could not give us an answer. Immediately asked to cancel and they didn’t even question why. Worst customer service ever received and rooms were atrociously dirty. Do not stay here!
- 1/5
The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Dead bugs, dirty towels and bathroom, random blanket and one pillow, and nasty sheets.
- 1/5
no one to check in scam!!
- 1/5
DIRTY, VERY MIS-LEADING INFORMATION. THIS BUILDING NEEDS TO BE CONDENMED IMMEDIATELY!!!!
- 1/5
Absolute worst hotel I’ve been in. Hotels.com should not have a hotel of this quality on their website. BEWARE, very unclean and gross hotel. Mattresses and sheets with stains. Floors dirty. Walls patched up and not painted. It was an absolute horror show. If we didn’t have to get on a boat early in the morning I’d be calling and get us a new place but we didn’t have time. Booked a 2 bed room and they put us in a room with 1 bed and 1 pillow. Finally changed us to a room with 2 beds but still only 1 pillow. We both slept over the covers in fear of bed bugs.
- 2/5
No towels, only a bed, one nightstand and tiny microwave table. No chairs or other tables. No fridge. Room smelled of paint. Window won't open. Phone won't call front desk. Bare bones
- 1/5
The one positive I have, and I dug deep to think of this, the water pressure in the shower was pretty good. I will never stay here again.
- 3/5
There were bed bugs.
- 1/5
Rooms were were dirty, mirrors were filthy, towels looked old and still used, t.v. didn't work, no toilet paper, and bedsheets looked like they didn't clean them throughly...never staying here again...i wasn't the only occupant that complained about the property!!
- 1/5
First off, we checked in into the hotel, and they gave us our two cards. The first room was room, 4011. my partner and I opened the door and opening the door. We saw that the bed looks slept on dirty sheets, dirty floor, dirty restroom with used towels on the floor. We went back downstairs and talked to the front desk. The frentes asked if we wanted the second room or a refund and we wanted to give them a second chance. So we got a second room, which was room 400 and this time they only gave us one key, The bed on the sides were dirty. The floor was dirty. We turned on the water up to shower and the water wasn’t draining. We waited 30 minutes to see if the water would Flash, and it did not. at this point, the room was not Sable. We went back downstairs to the front office and tried to communicate with the front desk, but there was communication issues, language barrier. We tried explaining that the water wasn’t draining the off of third, but we just wanted a refund. We took pictures of the room and the condition. And also video of us speaking to the front desk. And I promise that’s a refund and when I talk to a representative of Expedia. They said that they did not offer no refund, and he tried contacting them via phone, but the call would drop and they didn’t have no email to contact them with. So now it’s a whole bunch of mess that I’m trying to figure out. I just want my refund back.
- 1/5
Every piece of metal has a layer of rust. There was a bag over the carbon monoxide detector. Toilet paper was supplied. 30% left on that thing. I guess I should be thankful for that. Don’t expect soap or shampoo. I had to dry myself with the shower curtain and bed sheets. Ever heard the song Blue Hotel by Chris Isaak?? Yeah this is the place where you avoid if you are in a sub par mental state. This hotel makes you wish you were home. Tv requires you to physically change the hdmi to the proper one everytime. On the bright side there is limited cable tv. I was able to watch a Futurama marathon while sobbing myself to sleep regretting not booking a better hotel.
- 2/5
Dirty halls with socks and qtips. Our whole den was dirty not cleaned before we came
- 1/5
Does not look like the pictures at all. Very out dated and needs to be renovated but at the very least cleaned!!
- 1/5
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Check in took close to 20 minutes when the reservation was already paid for. The elevator was broken and the reception told us we were on the 2nd floor. Looked for our room, not second floor but 4th. Walked into the room only two pillows that were flatter than pancakes. The air conditioning unit sounded like San Diego airport was in the room with us. Looked in the bathroom, no towels. Not a single one. Top of the toilet seat had two giant black foot prints on top. Went down to get towels and were given two. Both seemed to still be dirty. Was told there were no more pillows or towels available. We heard multiple complaints from other patrons even saw two parties cancel their reservation upon arrival. It’s not that hard to go to target or Walmart to pick up towels and pillows for your guests. The photos on Expedia are not what you should expect. The only upside to this hotel was its location and free parking.
- 1/5
Gross, holes in the walls, weird stains, paper thin walls, gross checkin, high staff, worst place I’ve ever stayed
- 1/5
Room was not ready had to ask for clean sheets had to wait for room to be cleaned did not have another room available
- 1/5
The refridgerator freezer was so full of stained red, blue frost & dirty. Nothing like the pics that were posted of what the room should’ve looked it. Horrible.
- 2/5
You get what you pay for here :) The young lady at the counter checking me in was rude and impatient, she gave judgy stares and muttered under her breath in another language then only gave one room key that was dirty and reused. This same young lady spoke to the cleaning lady very nicely and respectfully as she came down to say she was almost done cleaning while I was being checked in. The young man at the counter the next day was polite, friendly, helpful and no muttering under his breath and gave me two room keys which is standard since I lost the one given. It was simply a great location but that is the best I can say about this place, oh and the water was hot and AC worked. The rooms are sketchy at best, tv didnt work, no toiletries, no tissues, no soap, the smoke detector was missing and the carbon monoxide detector was covered with a plastic bag. You get one big towel and a small one,1 thin blanket, 2 pillows, rock hard spring mattress. Bare bones. The elevator doesnt work. The cleaning lady walked in on me right after I checked in to my room to finish cleaning, very awkward.
- 1/5
When you first walk in the first thing you notice is how dirty the entrance/check in area is. The elevator did not work and our room was on the 4th floor. Our room was not up to standards due to the cigarette hole on our blanket, the curtains were shredded at the bottom, old, and dirty. The headboard had a handprint on it and our shower curtains were hung by zip ties. As I was getting ready, the vanity light cut off and didn’t come back on. Our toilet seat had paint peelings. We didn’t have any extra towels or tissue and when we asked for more towels we were given towels you buy at a store and they didn’t have any hand towels.
- 1/5
The hotel is a one star
- 1/5
The elevator was out of order and I had my 84 year-old Mama with me. She couldn’t climb up and down the stairs so I had to refuse the room because of her condition. I would like to get a refund for my money I had to go elsewhere to stay the night, could someone please contact me?
- 1/5
Check in was fine but walking in to this place I was stunned. Nothing on the walls, no towels, VERY loud fridge. We asked for more pillows since there were 2 of us but they ran out cause they were fully booked. Never had a hotel run out of pillows. This overall place is dirty. I wouldnt book this place again unless I was really desperate for a bed and nothing else.
- 3/5
It was cheap at the time an required no deposit

Bring your own blankets

Fast check-in, nice staff, quiet property

-Elevator out of order -Floors missing chunks & paint -Boarded up windows -Structure of building itself not taken care of (railing missing from multiple spots around stairs) -Smelly open trash cans at every corner -Dust on floors and in drawers where our clothes would have gone -No bath towels, hand towels, or bath mat provided -Light & fan switches in bathroom not functioning properly -Furniture needs to be replaced (scatches, missing paint, missing pieces) -Housekeeping never came in the 3 days we stayed Staff was friendly and place was cheap though! Great area and convenient walking to many places.
- 1/5
This place is a flea bag. Elevator was broken. I had to literally throw my shoulder into the door to force my way into room 411. Then I couldn't get the door to close. If I managed to get it closed, I would not be able to get back out without help. For a non smoking room, it had a large cigarette burn on the nasty bed spread which was actually a cheap blanket. The toilet was a sorry sight with hat looked like a cheap ebay ring added to a throne. I also booked 409 next door for my son who was going to meet up later. The counter was filthy (see pic). There was what amounted to a railroad spike sticking out of the end of the bed to bang your shins on in the middle fo the night.
- 1/5
Incredibly disappointed. Waited 15min for staff at check in to the point we had to go find someone who worked there. Zero hospitality. Room had one pillow, dirty bathroom, dirty mirrors, computer chairs???, and holes in the blankets. Immediately left and booked a new room
- 1/5
Horrible room had no pillows on the bed no towels in the bathroom no toilet paper
- 1/5
condemed

Nothing unique. The place is a dump. Dirty and torn towels!!! Dirty walkways and parking garage. This place should not be open at all.
- 1/5
It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. I didn’t feel safe. I was dirty, smelled, everything was broken. It was horrible. I left in the middle of the night I couldn’t even make it till morning. Waste of my money. I can’t believe I got this room on Expedia!
- 1/5
The room was cancel when we get threr

Service was terrible, bed was stained brown
- 2/5
No towel for the floor Cigarette hole in blanket King bed turned sideways. Just not condusive to a real room. Other guests looked like they are living there. Long term rental
- 1/5
The first room we were assigned wasn’t ready. Blood on the pillows, furniture all over the room, smelled like death. We got moved to a new room and the only difference was that the bed was made. Tried to get a refund and got into it with the manager. At one point he threatened “to go in the back to get something.” Definitely stay away.
- 1/5
Not at all what the pictures look like on line.
- 1/5
Elevator didn’t work, trash is all over and the room I already paid for was open and the lady was during cleaning and when I asked for another room they said this is the only room

I asked to switch rooms because my heater didn't work I switched rooms and one of the best didn't have a comforter it had Mitch match child comforter on there the TV didn't work I have to bring the remote from the other room the heater did work in the room I was put in I tripped over the baseboard that was loose the only thing great about this room was that the paint and tile in the shower was brand new even the shower curtain was disgusting
- 1/5
The elevator did not work. I had lots of luggage to carry up the stairs and back down the bathroom had half a roll of toilet paper and the room was not ready when I got there at 4 PM.
- 2/5
Photos very misleading. No towels in room.
- 2/5
Unfriendly, check-in, dirty drawers that I wouldn’t put my clothes in, no hangers, cracked bathroom floor that kept pinching my feet, holes in the wall in the bathroom TV never did work, the only good thing I have to say is that it’s conveniently located
- 1/5
I did not like this property at all. There was hair in the bed and on the sheets and stains everywhere on the mattress and then there was no towels in the bathroom filthy just filthy.
- 4/5
Nice place for a short stay
- 1/5
Called 10 times before checkin- no one ever answered the phone and their voicemail box was full. No one was at the desk, so due to that and how dirty the property was we ended up going somewhere else- so didn’t stay there but based on the google reviews I should’ve checked before booking I’m really glad we went somewhere else.
- 1/5
Other reviews were misleading. The price point should have been a clue. I've slept in some pretty rough places, but this one takes the cake. I have never left a bad review- but this place poses a health and safety risk. It's a shame because it's in a good, quiet location and could be making a good profit if they put some effort into fixing it up. The building is in need of repair and the rooms are in need of cleaning and maintenance. There is one elevator and it was out of order. The floor was dirty and unswept; the curtains were ripped in half and barely attached to the rod and could only be held closed with a binder clip (conveniently included!). The AC fan squealed and the cooling fins were covered with dust and likely mold. All surfaces were dusty and some just plain dirty. The shower curtain was pink with algae/mildew; there were no towels and the door had a poorly patched hole. The peep hole was missing from the exterior door and filled with toilet paper, nor was there a deadbolt to secure the door from the inside. Last but not least- THE FIRE ALARM WAS MISSING! I suspect this might be a code violation.

The room wasn't very clean. Smoke detector was taken off ceiling and found in dresser drawer. I believe it was a CO2 detector on the wall that was covered in plastic. Curtains was raggedy and torn.

I checked in at 7pm and the employee was barely putting a trashcan in my room. There were no towels supplied because they hadnt done laundry yet. Bedpost had handprints probably from previous guest “activities”. YUCK. Sheets were used! Stains and hair on every layer of the sheets. Even the mattress cover. Fridge smelled of chemical, leaking frion and unclean. Microwave was a biohazard. Due to it being so late and memorial day weekend I couldnt change hotels. Everything was so expensive so I felt stuck. Hotels.com and the hotel itself refused to assist me with even a partial refund. UNACCEPTABLE. Never again. GUESTS BEWARE!!!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

No towels in the room. Paint barrels under the sink, due to ongoing construction ongoing. An hour after I'd asked the owner for towels, I still hadn't received any, so I asked a lady in he hallway. They had no face clothes, small towels or bath mat available, just bath towels. I had to move the paint barrels out into the hallway because the painters weren't available to move them. However, after this, the owner was kind to hold my bags while I was out, even after check-out, so that was good.

We had no towel for the shower, I asked 2 times and when got some they were wet. The floor at our level was dirty and had an old toilet in font of a room. The room smelled the humidity and the ac was super noisy. The only good thing was that The staff was kind and the place is well located

There was nobody to help checkin after 1am or any instructions on how to even get into our room.

Dirty and dilapidated. Pictures are deceiving, this place hasn't seen a broom since Covid.

This place is very basic to say the least. There were limited towels, no ice chest, no cups and no clothes hangers. TV remote did not work. AC very noisy. Very disappointing. Not recommended unless you are on a really tight budget.

They were nice enough to agree to refunding our money back. So I can't say horrible things about it. But parking is very tight.

Slept in my car instead of that room. Didn’t have full size towels, just hand towels to dry your body

It had a good bed.

Black people get messed up rooms. Seen him check white person into a room after I explained there was no heat or towels in my room.

AWFUL place and I highly recommend you do NOT book here. There was mold on my bed and nails sticking out of the headboard. The room was filthy and missing a fire alarm and iron. You have to ask for toilet paper and towels upon check in and the elevator was broken so stairs were your only option.

This was awful. We could get the tv on but it would not connect to WiFi. She said she’d send someone but that lady had no idea. Staying only one night and asleep at 10 PM and someone just walked into our room telling us we didn’t check out.

Dirty disgusting space & rooms, dirty fridges, rooms that have windows with wood on them. Bums and drug addicts all over the property in the rooms and so is all their stuff

The place is filthy, rundown and didn't feel safe. The elevator was out of service and we carried our heavy bags to the fourth floor and discovered the room was not fit to sleep in. The blanket had nasty big holes in the curtains were shredded. The bathroom was disgusting. I went back to the office and told them we were not staying and why. He said he would not charge me.

Elevator was broken. No ground floor rooms. Wife is in a wheelchair. They offered a refund but never gave it and didnt answer the phone when hotels.com agents called them

A very basic motel. Thin walls, you will hear everything that goes on, all throughout the night. We had no trashcan in our room, no towels and you couldn't change the volume on the TV or turn it off without unplugging it.

Dirty in general, some rooms were getting remodeled so there were things stacked up and trash laying around. There were also household items and stacks of boxes on the bottom level. There were no towels in the room but I got some when I asked, tv didn’t work either.

This property is absolutely atrocious. The building is falling apart and looks like it’s housing homeless people because there’s trash all over the floors outside peoples rooms. Paint is chipping off and foundation is cracking. It is very unsafe and should not be part of Expedia.
- 2/5
No wifi in the room, phone did not work, and no one at the front desk to assist with wifi issues.

A lots of homeless people’s garbage outside each room doors Occupants are most probably drug addict Very scary to stay We are group of 4 the other 2 backup because they were too scared, we end up wasting our mo money for the stay Very dirty No soap or shampoo No blanket Chair broken and dirty Television had a 3 punch holes on it Very noisy occupants Tight parking

I would not recommend this property, unless you are desperate. There are many other hotels nearby.

Omg this place was terrible! First room was flooded and had poop, second room was dirty and had no heat and tv didn’t work. Next morning I was awoken by a loud radio playing at 6:45am. In front of our room was mop and bucket and trash everywhere. I’m handicapped and elevator didn’t work, had to go up four flights of stairs. Stay away!

Drove down on a business trip, it took 20 mins to get the people at the front desk- I had a temp ID and they wouldn’t accept it after I already paid for the room. I’ve never been treated so horribly by a man in my life: the place was run down, as well. Horrible.

I didn’t even stay at this place. I checked in and walked all the way up stairs. My key didn’t work. I went back down and said I wasn’t staying here. She said to get a refund I would need to go through Expedia. I need my money back from NOT STAYING HERE.

Dirty place full of homeless people. Upon check in, front desk gave us a key to an already occupied room. Just overall shady place. Did not trust them. Left early.

Filthy drug infested building. Human fluids on the bed, elevator broken, no towels, horrid smells...possibly meth.

Not good.

This place has gone straight ghetto. From midnight to 1 AM there was a couple walking their dogs around right outside the hotel room doors. Making noise and being obnoxious. Then at 9 AM a guy decides to start stomping aluminum cans literally 3 feet outside my door. Finally, I got up and opened the door and just looked at him and he just went back into his room, which was next to mine. Then a half hour later, he starts doing it again. When I checked out, I made sure to slam my door super hard to let everyone there know I wasn't happy. Really a bad place. Looks somewhere else.
