Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, there are frequent complaints about the valet parking fees and limited parking options, as well as some issues with billing and maintenance.

A/c was not working, no windows opened for fresh air. Did bring up a fan the second day. Property is cute though

Decor was very modern and attractive.

The hotel overall was very clean, cute and conveniently located. But… the AC in the building was out but they did give us two box fans. There was glass on the floor on the patio. Outside of that it was okay. No pool although the pictures show a pool

My first room had two big fans, but the room was still 80° at midnight. I moved to another room with a portable AC unit that had a big hose taped to the window. It was loud and inefficient. The air was only cool right where the unit was blowing. The rest of the room was hot and weirdly humid. The tape failed, the hose wouldn't stay attached to the window, and the room got even hotter. My third room had working AC with the new thermostat, and it was comfortable. By that point, though, it was my last day. Needless to say, I never really got comfortable during my stay. I had also strategically chosen a room in the Hilton app because it had a cute courtyard view and was close to the outdoor terrace. Instead, I ended up with a view of a tree. Twice.

Nice rooms, great location.
- 2/5
The staff was so helpful, but the air conditioning wasn't working the entire time we were there. We had a portable air conditioner, but it kept filling up with water and we needed to dump it in the shower. Two of my colleagues had issues with power to their rooms. We loved the location though, just have to be ready for some technical issues.

We received ~25% discount for both rooms we booked (both had the same issues) but would not have booked if we had known. Very clean and perfect location but cmon’ air and tvs need to work.

No A/C or TV in room. This has been a concern with other guests for months and the property is really doing nothing about it! There are reviews from 4 a 5 months ago sighting these issues. Rooms and furniture are tired and showing wear. I think there was water damage in the room we stayed in. Was there for a birthday and anniversary and NO acknowledgement after calling weeks ahead to ask! I should not had to pay for my entire stay, unacceptable for a premier Hilton property!
- 5/5
The courtyard was so welcoming and chill! And our bartender Mitch was awesome. Good drinks and good vibes all around.
- 5/5
A special shoutout to the front desk employee who checked me in — he was incredibly kind and professional, gave the best recommendations, and made me feel instantly welcome. That level of hospitality really set the tone for my entire stay. The hotel itself was wonderful, but it was truly the people who made this experience exceptional. I left feeling so well taken care of and will absolutely be staying here again.

I can't believe this place is a Hilton. Absolutely brutal experience. They were OUT OF TOWELS FOR AN ENTIRE DAY! Morning, noon, and night. We arrived at 230 in the morning with a clogged toilet and they couldn't fix it for 16 hours! To make matters worse the a/c is apparently out in over half the rooms, so there is literally a garbage bag duct tapped to an open window with a ghetto rigged stand alone a/c and you can hear EVERYTHING on the street. Individually, these things would be disappointing but potentially manageable, but the collective response and every single one was just "Meh, yeah it is what it is...we're out towels...I know it's been ten hours but there is nothing we can do about it...I know your toilet is still clogged but there is nothing we can do about it....yeah the street is super loud because you can't close your window but there is nothing we can do about it" AND FINALLY THEY CHARGE THE WRONG CREDIT CARD! TWICE! UNREAL?!?! We will never stay here again and seriously consider what is means to be a Hilton Rewards member, because there was nothing rewarding about this stay.

Fee $75 and offered me a fan. I went to my room and it was cute, felt modern Mediterranean inspired decor. But upon walking into the bathroom, the sink was wet and there was a towel on the counter. The toilet was dirty. I went up to front desk to inform them and the same gentleman handed me clean towels and a credit for free drink and apologized. I started looking for another space to book but literally it’s Memorial Day wknd and I ended up having to cut my trip short. I couldn’t find anything near my event and I refused to pay $600 for two nights. I noticed someone ate and threw their trash in the room trash can and I realized, what if someone else got the same offer as I to “try” the room and if too hot cancel reservation. The front desk man came to bring me the fan and I pointed it out informed him It grossed me out, he apologized. The only parking is valet and charge. The drains stink. The bar tenders drinks were good, it’s too bad the ambiance looked beautiful and seemed affordable but maybe no AC was the reason why!

Proximity to destination Booked a higher end room and paid accordingly. Upon arrival, room had not been cleaned as evidenced by unmade beds and rose petals all over the beds and floor. Staff switched us to a different room that was much smaller and the air conditioner was inoperable for our entire stay. The room was hot enough that we had to leave the door propped open to try to get some cooler air. Desk staff failed to provide enough towels etc, and we had to ask several times to get a couple more towels and wash cloths. Understandably, no hotel does everything perfect but this hotel is poorly managed. We will find other lodging next time we are in the area. My biggest frustration is that we paid for a bigger room with more amenities, but we got downgraded it an economy room with no attempt to give us a different room of the same class we paid for.

The room was very pretty and the hotel was super nice. The only bad thing that happened is that the AC was not working in most rooms and all of the ice machines were not working. The hotel staff was very friendly and it’s understandable that there wasn’t much they could do to fix the situation.
- 3/5
It was disappointing for a four star rating Hotel-room AC did not work. Also, a mold odor in the sink faucet when on in room 301. The gentleman staff Manny offered compensating for half of our stay along the two purchased items, which was accommodating. 🙏 Credit TBD in credit card.

Ac wasn't working. It was humid. Bathroom wasn't so clean and had a smell to it. Ice machine broken.

Property has nice modern design in the lobby, restaurant and rooms. Beds are comfortable, restaurant staff was helpful and the food was good. One block walking distance from the marina which has some restaurants. This was our 2nd time at this property. We stayed here a year ago and everything was perfect. Unfortunately maintenance of the property has gone downhill. We walked into our room where the thermostat read 80 degrees. We tried to turn the AC on but it wasnt working. We requested a different room but the front desk lady said they were booked up for our stay and had no rooms to move us to. She offered staff bring us a box fan but after 2 hours none showed up. Spoke to the manager who was able to move us to a room with a temporary window unit which was more comfortable but still not what we would expect for a hotel. He said one whole wing of the hotel had no AC which is not acceptable. They should alert customers ahead of their stay so they can make arrangements elsewhere if needed. The safe in our room did not work and another room’s refrigerator was not working. Hopefully they can bring the property up to Hilton quality. There is limited self parking on the surrounding streets. You will most likely have to Valet.

Nothing works. On the terrace patio there were 3 propane heaters, but none of them worked, no propane, the TV didn't work, none of the ice machines worked. When we called the front desk, the lady confirmed none of those things work, she said she would call the bartender to see if he could do something, but nobody ever followed up.
- 2/5
Bar was nice and the bartender (Mitch) was very friendly.
- 1/5
I had booked a 2 queen room and when I got my room it was a 1 king room. I called the staff and she said they gave away the room and there were no other rooms available. No one notified me that they had changed my room stay and that this is what happens when you book through a third party. I called up Expedia and they did not offer any resolutions except a $25 credit to Expedia which I did not think was acceptable for what happened.
- 5/5
This property was better than pictured. Room was extremely clean, spacious and had great amenities. Parking was easy and it’s centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has had no AC for a month now. Room never got cooler than 79 degrees, and I was at warned that the AC was broken prior to my check-in. When I checked in, they told me they were simply having a little AC problem and there was a fan in my room however they never mentioned it was broken. The room in my window did not even open while I’m on the property did. When I asked to switch rooms both days they told me the answer was no and offered me a $30 refund. People looked miserable and were sweating profusely. I do not know why we were not warned about this considering it has been an ongoing issue for a month. I would not ever recommend staying here.
- 1/5
The air conditioning was broken, and the staff kept making promises, but never kept one
- 4/5
Upon arrival, we were informed that the AC was not working, but we were given the option to cancel our reservation without any issues. We were also provided with a fan for the duration of our stay. Breakfast is à la carte rather than a buffet. The breakfast table was quite sticky. Parking is handled by a valet, and the property does not have a convenient space to pull in or out. Upon arrival, there was no place to stop even briefly to hand over the car to the valet, which I found inconvenient. In fact, I ended up using Uber, as it was faster than retrieving the car.

Nice location by the pier The AC was not working the whole time while it was too hot around 30 plus degrees. No sleep the whole week.. the hotel offered refund for the inconvenience but still struggling to get the refund after a month with back and forth through booking.com..

Every was great, but the ac wasn’t working and the shower glass didn’t have a privacy screen, but everything else was great
- 4/5
The room was very nice, extra nice bathroom and shower. Only thing we could have used was a microwave. Very nice bar area. Parking was a bit of a issue, had to drive around and around to find street parking, or pay the over priced garage parking. $35.00 seems crazy high to charge customers. Staff was very friendly and helpful, overall, we would come back.
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly and accommodating, the bartender was friendly drinks pricey but probably normal. The room was clean. We we there with our grand daughters so the bar door to the bathroom was strangely interesting..you had it adjust it’s position to feel secure and I sure you had privacy
- 4/5
None of the ice machine were working and the cleaniness of the rooms and open areas needed some cleaning. Plus the hotel is showing some wear.
- 5/5
We loved this location and the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were with friends. We had a dog with us and staff was so kind and accommodating. The spaces and amenities were great. A very nice place to stay in the San Diego area.
- 3/5
The biggest negative was they didn’t offer off street parking. They only offered valet at $31 a night. I had to circle the local area blocks numerous times to find parking spots. In my opinion, if someone is paying to stay at your business…you should offer free or reduced parking fees. Every other hotel on the same street had off street parking.
- 2/5
I was hoping to work in my hotel room on the Friday daytime but there was no chair (like in the photos) at the table in my room. Everytime I ran water in the sink the drain smelled absolutely rotten. The ice machine wasn’t working on my floor. After getting housekeeping on the second day, they took my hand towel and face washing towel but didn’t replace them so I used the same singular towel for everything. Glassware also wasn’t replaced. Finally, (I recognize it was out of their control and could not be anticipated) a car ran through the front of the hotel during my stay - needless to say that the lobby was turmoil during my last night and morning there.
- 4/5
Staff on site were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made a point to greet us every time we passed by, which really added a personal touch. When we checked into our original room and discovered the AC wasn’t working, the team handled it immediately without any hassle. They quickly moved us to a different room and made sure everything was comfortable for us. What stood out most was how attentive and proactive the staff were—they truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made a noticeable difference in our stay. Overall, my experience was good, but the parking situation was a bit inconvenient. There’s no self-parking available on site—valet is the only option, and the rest of the parking is limited to the street. That can be a downside if you prefer having direct access to your vehicle or want to avoid relying on valet. That said, the valet staff were excellent. They were very attentive with my car, handled it with care, and always brought it up quickly whenever I requested it. I also appreciated that they were able to accommodate my modified car without any issues, which isn’t always a given. Their professionalism definitely helped make up for the limited parking options.

When we arrived we were directed ro our room, we immediately noticed that the air conditioning was not working. We promptly contacted the front desk. Their reply: did we not tell you ? No, you did not. They provided us with a floor fan. The room was super stuffy, no window to open. San Diego had an unusual heat wave. It was miserable. The ice maker was broken as well. This is a nicely renovated property, but it lacks the amenities it states it has. I would be cautious about booking here again

Was nicely remodeled, and accessible to local shops restaurants, and the waterways. However, AC was out and only had minimal valet parking. Staff was friendly

It was pretty and staff were friendly We parked our car in the valet area because no valet came out, the kitchen staff never came out to greet us after about 10 minutes so I reached behind the counter to get my own menu, the kitchen card machines went down for like two days and they didn’t have change, our room was so hot and stuffy the whole stay, at least they provided fans and ac once we requested it, my mom said underneath the nightstands were dirty.

This hotel did not tell us at check in but their AC was not working properly. The room was stale and did not have working AC or any moving aor and the room did not have an open window concept. The staff was unable to move rooms apparently. Unfortunately, the staff was unable to produce clean and dry towels when we asked on several occasions. We waited over 3 hours for clean and dry towels. Overall, this property did not meet any expectations for the price point. We were disappointed and the shortcomings far outweighed anything else (I.e. NO A/C or air flow in our room). Not a good experience at all.
- 3/5
Our room wasn’t ready yet, but they allowed us to leave our bags, which was very convenient and appreciated. Once our room was ready, we were a bit disappointed to see that the restroom was not the cleanest. There was only half a roll of toilet paper left, the shower head had visible buildup, and the shower itself still had leftover soap residue as if it hadn’t been wiped down properly. The soaps also seemed to be placed incorrectly in the holders—hand wash was in the shower while the body soap was placed near the sink. On the positive side, when we requested extra towels and bags for the trash bin, the staff were very prompt in bringing them. The main thing that kept me from giving a higher rating or wanting to return was that the AC was out during the days we stayed. It happened to be a very hot weekend, and unfortunately there was no offer to send up a fan or provide updates on when the AC might be fixed. Overall the staff, location, and overall atmosphere of the place were great. It was really just those small details that affected our experience.

They did not fix the refrigerator. They said they had fixed it while we were gone. But it was still broken, and I told them, and it didn't get repaired. I tried to talk to the food and beverage manager about some items and he said the cook had quit and they wouldn't be having dinner that evening. There was no restocking of the sundries. The bins were empty with just a few items and chips for 3 days. Although people could see them that work there, no one went to the store to restock things. There was no water available for purchase. The smart water stand was empty. It looked pretty, but it felt unattended.I didn't see any general manager 4 four days... There is no coffee creamer in room. The shower situation as a wet bathroom was not ideal. The whole bathroom would get wet when we would take a shower and there weren't many towels to clean it up. I prefer a tub. Ty
- 2/5
The AC was not working. The property itself was beautiful, but the room came with weird stains on comforter, a broken shower nozzle, and a broken chain for the shades. And the AC was not working!
- 2/5
Our fridge did not work, complained nothing done, just offered to keep our stuff cold if we brought our refrigerated down to the front desk, air conditioners stop working our second day, the housekeeper refolded a dirty towel and made it look like we had a fresh clean towel and didn’t give us two towels—- had to call for more towels. The front desk person was the only person on nights so, if you needed the front desk no one to answer phone because they were out delivering stuff. The bar staff was very nice!

one of the 2 elevators is broken. Valet parking very expensive for a side street hotel. Restaurant is terribly expensive for 2 eggs a diced potato and one sausage cut in half. Staff is kind and friendly, rooms are nicely decorated. fitness center needs newer equipment.
- 0.5/5
Good location Staff was pretty rude. Not very accommodating. I had specifically booked for a king size bed and got two queens. When I asked about it, they said they’re fully booked “for that level” and I’d need to upgrade to get what I specifically booked for. Oh and it’s valet only and it’s $37/night. They Nickle and dime you.

Pick a room off the main busy street as the road noise was bad.

The rooms were spacious, clean and had lots of light. The staff were amazing and responsive. The location was walkable, close to the airport and lots of coffee shops nearby - better buzz coffee was across the street NA

Also there was no breakfast provided or order-to-cook during our stay, we were told the staff was off because of the holiday, which doesn't make sense.
- 4/5
The staff were great throughout our stay. Room cleanliness wasn’t perfect but still good. Shower faucet was loose and would fall off if you tried to turn it without paying attention. Street parking worked great for us, we were able to park right out front every day. Would definitely stay again.

- 2/5
There was trash in the room upon check-in, unfortunately the bathroom had a very strong odor of urine, especially in the shower. The thing that sent us home a day early is upon returning to the room mid day we noticed it was almost 85 degrees in the room, attempted to turn on the AC, fan, everything we could attempt to do to make it turn on with no such luck. We went down to the front desk and they said they’d get right to work on it. By now 4 hrs had passed, no updates or attempts to come fix it. Lack of communication and little to no effort was ridiculous and disappointing, as well as the $300 incidental fees they charge upon check in with no mention of how high that fee will be. Will unfortunately not be returning there. We booked 4 days but a night driving home early was better than attempting to sleep in a room that was by then almost 90 degrees with no concern from staff. know

Good value in a modern hotel.
- 4/5
The hotel seems clean and the overall aesthetics are nice. The room was OK. The glass shower door had water spots from top to bottom making me question if it had been cleaned and the shower fixtures are peeling. The fixtures at the sink were so loose it felt like they could come off at anytime.
- 4/5
Courteous staff, clean comfortable room with nice decor - the Mexican-style tiles are pretty. The $37/day valet parking fee is a little annoying but we were forewarned; and the valet was very prompt in retrieving the car when we needed it. Our only real complaint is the bathroom design! Almost the entire wall facing the bedroom is translucent glass. The early bird in our party got up and the room was flooded with light when he used the shower. Why anyone thought this was a good design is a mystery to me. A friend who stayed in a smaller room said her bathroom had a shade that could be pulled over the glass. We were in a Queen "deluxe" that for some reason did not have this option.

Beautifully decorated hotel at a great location. However for the first three nights a terrible odour came out of the bathroom, getting unbearably strong in the middle of the night. It woke us up each night, it was that bad. Like sewage. Most likely a plumbing issue. Thankfully they

The place was nicely designed and the room was very nice and clean. The stuff was pretty good except of the evening receptionist. She was very welcoming and helpful. Our refundable deal included a breakfast ,it was one of the reasons we ordered this hotel, however upon arrival they told us that the kitchen will be closed for breakfast from that day. They didn't update us before though. We got refund for the breakfast. It will be nice if upon check-in, they will tall people that the room will not be taking care of every day unless they will ask for it.they can also write it somewhere in the room. .

• Should have escalated any kitchen repairs to open in 1 day not be down for 3 • Body wash completely empty in shower, Kleenex box in room was empty • Bathroom barn style doors broken so don't close correctly. Very awkward when we were showering as no privacy could see right in • Limped to the entire opposite end of the hotel floor from my room for ice with a twisted / bad knee. Only to find the ice machine was also broken. Had to limp back with an empty bucket. It was down the entire weekend. Ice is really a bare minimum expectation. • Barking dog for hours on Saturday early evening right next door. Understand if dog friendly hotel but a barking dog for hours on end disturburbing multiple rooms is unacceptable. Should have contacted owners directly by cell phone to return to hotel and handle dog • Check out morning waited 45 minutes for a "valet" to finally come with a luggage cart to help me. Front desk told me several time "we don't have a bellman". Well, for $600 for the weekend, having a bellman is just simply an assumed amenity.•

Hotel was super cute
- 5/5
Staff, room cleanliness, location all excellent! I definitely hope to be back soon!
- 1/5
There was mold in the restroom ceiling
- 4/5
The only thing that I didn't like was the thermostat was a little confusing. no matter how high I turned the temperature, the room regulated at 71° and coming from Chicago that was a little cool for me during the day but it worked out at night. I didn't complain about it and give them a chance to fix it so I don't know if that's fair or not but that was the only thing I could think of.
- 5/5
Great staff, was able to get checked in about an hour early…. Very nice property, lots of seating areas , outdoor patios …. Great Stay
- 5/5
Clean room with big shower. Great staff. On street parking a bit busy but still able to find a spot a block away. Nice walk to harbor and coffee, food etc.
- 5/5
Convenient location, beautiful and modern decor, friendly staff, delicious food and drinks.. it was truly an amazing birthday trip. There was a slight hiccup with the air conditioning, but it was fixed within 24 hours AND they were super generous enough to provide a discount on our entire stay. (this was not asked for, but was given upon check out) Thank you guys!! We’ll be back!
- 4/5
Staff was amazing, room was clean, valet was quick and polite! Will book again!
- 5/5
An enjoyable stay the beds could of been a little better
- 5/5
Clean, staff very helpful. Would stay again
- 3/5
no breakfast
- 2.5/5
The property is nice, esp the courtyard & the balconies overlooking the courtyard. The bar was great & the breakfast was good as well. There’s a lot of restaurants nearby also. The water in the bathroom sink smelled really bad. I also highly recommend checking your bill. I’ve had to call many times to rectify my bill & have them honor the price from booking.com. It was about $100 more charged to my card, so be careful with that upon check in/check out. I have never had this issue using booking.com.
- 3/5
Some of the bathroom and room items were a little beat up and old. Bed was fine

Everything was good

Staff were all so kind and helpful!
- 3.5/5
Walkable to a variety of nearby restaurants, very clean. Friendly staff. Safe area. The bathroom fan ran continuously-no shut off. Brought earplugs, essentially mitigated that. Parking was $37 a night, caught me by surprise.
- 5/5
Great room and had a nice court yard
- 4.5/5
Absolutely charming. Clean, well appointed room and property. Great location in walking distance to coffee, dining, and the beach. Comfy bed, cold AC. No pool on the property.

The hotel itself was super cute and clean. The staff was very kind! I had a coworker leave a tablet in her room and they tracked it down and held it at the front desk. The only issue I had was parking. It is valet only but there is only a very small area to pull up to for the valet. There was a small chance you were finding street parking but it seems like parking is just a San Diego issue in general. The valet was always super quick and responsive when you needed your car. Overall, I was happy I stayed here and I would stay again for business if I didn’t need a pool or beach access.
- 3/5
The staff at check in and check out were mediocre at best. There was not a warm welcome and I felt a little like I was bothering her when trying to make small talk. Upon check out I let the agent know the shower door made a loud popping noise when closing the door and that it does not close all the way. I also let her know the room smelled like sewer or egg smell. She made note of it but there was no sorry or sense of caring. I guess I would say there was absolutely NO hospitality.
- 5/5
Close to everything!! Staff was excellent!!! The bathroom doors do not allow for privacy. No transport to the airport.
- 3/5
The air conditioning would not turn off in our room. Gave us blankets to compensate for cold. Be nice if we had some sort of discount on future stays. Have stayed there several times over the last 2 years
- 4.5/5
Great trendy vibe. Comfortable rooms. Carpet stains in the hallways.
- 3/5
The room that we stayed in the first night, the air conditioning was broken. It was really stuffy in the room. The following day we were moved to another room, but it wasn’t the one with the balcony. It was better than the first one since at least we had a working a/c. It was very disappointing. I was really looking forward to this stay. They offered to waive the valet, which was accepted. The staff in the front office were very nice. The valet attendant was also very nice and pleasant. I guess the problem is in management. It’s a shame because the hotel has a lot of potential. The rooms were a bit small although nice and modern. We stayed in another Tapestry Collection in Tucscon, Az right before this stay. It is called The Eddy. That one was outstanding! It’s so much better than The Monsaraz. I don’t think we’ll be staying here again in the future. There are so many other options available.
- 2/5
The room defintely was not clean and everything on the bedding had down in it. The hotel was extremely understaffed and therefore the bartender who was also a waitress in restaurant was also the valet Parker so expect to wait a very long time for food and your car.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful
- 4/5
Location, value, clean Rooms are super tight
- 5/5
It was had some games in court yard
- 5/5
We loved the hotel for its great staff, perfect location in a wonderful shopping and dining district. Close to everything.

Pet frendly
- 1/5
Allowed someone not on reservation to check in.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 2/5
Great staff but the room was wet our whole stay. The humidity was high and wouldn’t get better. Woke up with wet sheets, carpet and anything left out was wet. No windows opened and we tried using the heater. Which also didn’t work that well.
- 5/5
Unique hotel in a great location. Staff were excellent. Very happy with my stay.
- 1/5
Sandra, on the other hand, was flat-out rude and completely useless. Our sheets were filthy when we arrived, and she couldn’t even manage to order clean ones. When I asked for an extra towel, she brushed me off with a “well, I placed the order” and left me waiting for hours. I finally had to get the valet boy to grab one because Sandra clearly has no business working in guest services. Check the photos of the bed. We packed up and left a whole day early to stay at the Bay Club instead. Do yourself a favor and avoid this Hilton at all costs. Run, and run fast. Do you want me to push it even harsh
- 5/5
The Valet was exceptional. He was always friendly, helpful and seemed to always be there when we were coming back or leaving for an adventure. The beds were comfortable, and the room was also very comfortable. The decorative tiles and other interior designs were lovely.
- 4/5
They do not have self parking they only have valet and they charge $37 a day also for pets they charge $75 for each pet.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice for a 1 night stay but parking is difficult and $37 a night for parking, yikes!😬
- 5/5
Sandra at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and delightful.
- 3/5
We booked a queen room and
- 5/5
Absolutely awesome place to stay room was clean staff was wonderful only thing was I felt 37$ a day for parking was a bit steep other than that it's a very nice place to stay
- 4/5
Staff so friendly!
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Good location, centerlize.Over prized for amenities. No real view, no pool or spa. Everything within walking distances.
- 3/5
The AC didn’t work. Besides that, the room was very nice and the area was safe.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 2.5/5
The location No parking. I have to park on the street. The hotel have only valet parking almost $40 dollar per 1day. No breakfast included. Only bed is was comfortable. They charge for o N e bottles of water $10. Only business in the hotel. Nothing important for customer. So price foe stay. Not recomend for your vacation. No microwave . Few towel. I Never had a hotel with nothing to accommodate.
- 5/5
Great location amazing staff.
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful and not far from the beach. The staff was lovely and restaurants could easily deliver. I would defintely stay again.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, amazing staff. Bar staff was amazing, valet service was fantastic.
- 4/5
Price and room size and location was great.
- 5/5
First time staying here and it was wonderful! Front desk staff are great and hospitable! We had a floor level room with direct access to the patio with cozy bungalow seating. Very close to downtown and Little Italy, where you can find many eateries, just an uber away! Definitely coming back for a staycation!

MY AC WENT OUT MANAGER GAME ME A FAN TO SLEEP WITH THEY MOVED ME TO A ROOM WHERE THE TOILET WAS NOT WORKING
- 5/5
Very clean and accommodating. We got to the hotel 4 hrs before check in and they had a room ready, it was super clean and spacious, with modern chic decor.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was quiet and in very good condition. Would be nice if there were more parking options available but overall it was a great stay.
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
Good walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable!
- 5/5
Very beautiful
- 4/5
Great location and staff was very kind and rooms are clean.
- 2/5
When we arrived our room had a heavy chemical smell. We let them know but nothing happened for the first 2 nights. After waking up with headaches 2 mornings in a row, we asked again about the smell and finally spoke to a manager and got room switched. That room the air was not working . We told them about that and they said half the building’s air was out (returned sometime in the middle of the night).
- 2/5
Was locked out of my room for about six hours until almost 11 PM. The door mechanism failed and reprogramming. It did not work. Staff finally used a long rod under the door to unlock it. Seems a bit silly that I was not able to use my room for nearly 6 hours while they tried to figure out what to do. No offer of another room to use or offset in cost. Not what I think of when I think Hilton.
- 2/5
Service was ok. For the price, the room was nothing like the photos. In the photo, the balcony was in the courtyard and ours was in front of a garage, view left a lot to be desired. There were cracks in the ceiling, and the smart TV was not a smart TV and had just basic cable. For the price, wouldn’t go back.

Great!

We checked in on Sunday June 22,2025. Sandra, the hotel manger was kind enough to let us switch rooms to 246 which had a nice view. But she told us it would be ready in 30 minutes. we actually waited 90 minutes which was after 5pm. When we got to the room, the AC would not come on. I called her to see if there was a trick to getting th AC to work and she informed me that maintenance was resetting the AC and to just open the balcony door. That cooled off the room a bit but than we had to deal with all the flying bugs in the room. The next day, no AC. I mentioned the issue again to Sandra as we got our car from the valet that was costing $37 a day. Next day Tuesday again still no AC and nothing from Sandra, I again mentioned it to another employee working the front in desk. She said she would check into it but we heard nothing from anyone at the hotel. By Wednesday we realized that no one really cared and we just have to live with an open balcony door and flying bugs to keep the room somewhat tolerable. The carpet had stains. The room was not very clean. The pool area is small and full bird droppings. The pool furniture was old and something you would expect at a motel 6. The in room products were Nest brand but we noticed that the cleaning carts head cheap products that they refilled the Nest with. When we checked out, a different employee was working and was sympathetic to what we experienced. She was gracious enough to waive the valet fees. I would never stay there again.
- 5/5
great location great margaritas and super nice
- 4/5
The Monsaraz was really chic. I loved the patio area! The balcony was nice too. The air conditioning was out while we stayed. They gave us a fan which we used while sleeping. Wish we could have gotten a lower rate because of that. The valet service was excellent and really quick! The beds were comfy. The shower was really relaxing and big. Anyway, lots of good things, just didn't have ac. Happy in the end.
- 5/5
AMAZING STAFF and property!!!
- 3/5
Pretty little hotel. Couple things I didn’t enjoy was the shower. The shower head was rusted and the water smelled horrible the entire stay including the sink
- 3/5
Good clean spot. Cleaning rooms and towel and supplies refil inconsistent.
- 2/5
Booked a 1- king bed room for my anniversary weekend, upon checking in the front desk told me they were sold out so they gave me a 2 queen size room!!! I was very disappointed.
- 3/5
Nice location. But Staff is unattentive. We pulled up to what said Valet. No one came? So I went in to check in. Front Desk girl just going thrj motions wouldn't even look at me. Said norhing about parking so I had to ask and she said oh they'll come out. Room was very small.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Staff was really nice. Will stay there again
- 5/5
Near our destination, very safe and friendly staff. Parking is limited so we had to use valet parking.
- 2/5
The area around the hotel is not so good either … the hotel right beside it is disgusting…. leading to some very undesirable characters lurking around The staff were all very pleasant and kind
- 2/5
Hotels.com claim the rooms are soundproofed - they aren't! Scraping of furniimturee from the room above and the bass from the dj at the prom in the courtyard confirmed that! This was supposed to he a relaxing last day and night before returning home but was anything but that! The hotel should not be selling rooms at a premium that are directly overlooking events they have sold.
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I’ve been too! The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and there was room service everyday which was the best. There’s a coffee shop literally 3 minute walking distance.

Front desk supervisor was rude and

Great staff
- 5/5
Very comfortable hotel with a cool vibe.
- 5/5
Great place but a little difficult for parking
- 5/5
Staff was amazing!!
- 1/5
Avoid this hotel. It is really bad. They charge $37 parking fee but didn't mention anywhere
- 4/5
Do not pay for the add on feature for breakfast buffet. The hotel does not offer a buffet. We had paid for one using the Hotels.com site. The hotel managed to give us a breakfast menu where were could get $18 worth of food. Not worth it. Avoid the breakfast, as most of it was undercooked (pancakes, really?) and the order was messed up too.
- 5/5
Very pretty location. Beautiful modern decor. Wonderful welcome at front desk. Welcoming aroma. Comfortable room. Loved it.
- 5/5
The property was very nice. The rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable. We had a balcony that was a great part of our experience.
- 3/5
Parking is horrible, the bay was neat to be around and great for walking.
- 3/5
Service from a MANAGER was atrocious, as a Honors member, was a little disappointing.
- 4/5
Didnt have much interaction with to many employee's but 2 of them were very pleasant and extremely helpful. That was the bartender/waiter and hia name is Deon. He went over and above to satisfy my wife and I. We appreciated it alot especially because he was under staffed for serving the patrons of this buisness. The second peeson woukd be rhe valer parking attended. Not only did he park and retrieve our vehicle in a timely manner he also took my wife to the vehicle after he parked it so that she could retrieve something that we forgot. So to my wife and I they both deserve praises, and we would appreciate it if this info could be passed along to there employers, which i believe is the Marriot.

Nice hotel
- 3/5
The pictures are bigger than the actual place
- 5/5
The room was clean and very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Such an amazing experience. Property was clean and staff was amazing!
- 3/5
Only there for the night
- 3/5
minimum expectations. Cleaning staff is very polite but slow to respond to needs. Parking at Ramada or Comfort Inn right next door make them more attractive alternatives.
- 5/5
I like the location, amenities, staff!!
- 5/5
I got lucky with street parking every day. The room was very nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant inside had an amazing ambience and there are a bunch of convenient places to grab food and drink nearby.
- 5/5
The customer service exceeded our expectations. They are very helpful when needed.
- 5/5
Great customer service and a very cute and earthy atmosphere.
- 5/5
Jennifer (i think that was her name) upgraded me to the big room. The service was excellent, and the room was great! Thank you so much!
- 4/5
My overall experience was that every time I turned the faucet on, a horrible smell came from the pipe.
- 4/5
Everything was great except housekeeping took all towels from our room and never brought any back. And there was no body wash. When I asked housekeeping, she said they were doing laundry. I had to request towels from the front desk the morning of checkout in order to shower. But no towels to dry our hands or wash our face. We did request body wash & they promptly brought us some. Other than that, everything was really nice. Great location.
- 4/5
I like the decoration of the hotel, even though the bathroom door didn’t close. It was a little loose and there was a gap when it was close so no privacy at all. The area where is located is nice. I didn't have time to walk around the hotel but it looked nice and close to the marina. Close to Liberty Station too. Also, the room door didn’t close with the lock… A little maintenance would be a good idea.
- 5/5
Nice!
- 5/5
The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Great location and great hotel for a decent price. We will definitely visit again!
- 4/5
Also would be nice if they provided more mugs/cups. I asked but was told to grab some from the restaurant. I didn’t feel comfortable so I gave up. Overall we enjoyed our stay and price was very reasonable.
- 5/5

Poor parking. Other then that, great places to stay!
- 5/5
Functional and clean. Very thoughtful design.
- 4/5
Loved the hotel and its location. Wish the women that works the desk at night had a better attitude.
- 5/5
Easy check in. Clean. Convenient. Waling distance from bay, restaurants coffee cafes etc

Sandra at front desk was awesome!
- 5/5
I loved this property, clean place and great staff!
- 5/5
Friendly service
- 4/5
it was clean and close to a number of nice places to eat
- 3/5
The saving grace of the valet situation last night was that the lone valet was able to retrieve my car in 15 minutes after texting for it, so I could make an emergency trip to buy an item I needed for a very important function today. Kudos to that overworked and undersupported man. $35/night to park is nothing but theft, especially in this neighborhood where there’s no other choice. Yes, I know it’s industry average, I’m not a tourist. Beyond that- street noise was a constant even with closed windows and both sets of curtains shut. $3/bottle for water in the room is ridiculous. This is a Hilton property and that company makes billions. Overall, I was a great Guest. I required nothing out of the ordinary, I tip well, and rather than faux, excess cheerfulness from the staff all I really need is polite, quiet competence. But that’s more for managers than frontline employees.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Misleading attempts to get more money, clogged drains, slow service,
- 3/5
When I checked in, everything seemed to be OK however when it came to shower time, there was a back up in a in the sewer line and my boyfriend ended up taking a shower and having that happen to him that’s no good. Then later that day we asked for someone to come check the heater because it wouldn’t turn on and nobody came, so I woke at 1 AM in the morning freezing and changed rooms so the first night was pretty bad in which they waved my parking and gave me a $50 discount. I’m not really sure that was enough. The staff was great. Most of them were very friendly and nice and eager to help so this review really only refers to the building itself and how it works.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Great new hotel next to Shelter Island
- 5/5
We will be staying here again next time we visit.
- 5/5
Property is super clean. Close to airport, and areas to eat. Very good for people who enjoy boating activities. There is a boardwalk right across from the hotel. I was hoping for more of a beach experience, but the views were breathtaking.
- 5/5
Very nice! The bathroom sliding door almost fell on us LOL but otherwise everything was amazing!
