Room was decent not what I expected for the price that I paid, parking was amazing, air conditioning work great, the virtual agent was kind of complicated. Check in was a hassle. The lobby area is well maintained. It very noisy.

Upon arrival I received a room which had not been cleaned there was a slept in bed and a used champagne bottle in there. Didn't see the maid service and the room was never cleaned.... Needs to do some hiring

We really enjoyed the king-size room with the Jacuzzi size bathtub. It had an amazing blue light district vibe and high voltage crown mold ceilings made me feel like I was in royalty. And my girlfriend really enjoyed herself lol There was nothing bad to say about this property

The soap and amenities dispensers were really hard to use— to get solution to come out. They’re designed to dispense very small amounts— an inconvenience. Very cheap dispensers compared to having real bottles to dispense from. The location of the hotel is superb. .

My daughter and I stayed here while visiting schools and it was not a good experience. They make the hotel look lovely in the pictures but the rooms were not nice and the beds were terribly uncomfortable.

A little different checking in with computer staff employee but it was easy. Hotel was clean, parking is a little tight but do able.

Great little hotel! We stayed 4 nights, and were very happy with our stay. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and well designed. Staff was pleasant and always busy cleaning. On site laundry and workout room was a great added bonus. Partially underground parking was monitored by cameras and was clean and safe. Walkable area for Santana Row and Westfield Mall. Easy freeway access. This a is a great place if your looking for a dog/cat friendly stay that doesn't smell as if it were!!!

This hotel is holding onto it last thread, I have advised them to actually hire a real contractor and then they send their employees who don’t speak English to superglue things together. I honestly recommend to whoever read this go to Santana Row or Amwell hotel. Staff wasn’t to be seen, nor manger to be found

Didn’t change tone or expression, not one time out of our 3 encounters throughout my stay. Location was prime for me since I was working at Valley Fair. Room had a faint smell that was unpleasant: But it’s almost like you can get past it in 3 min. Weird. Blue lights and ceiling are a nice touch and bed was comfortable.

The hotel is nice. However, there are a few things that I was not pleased about. One. There is no phone in the room to contact the front desk and when you try to call them through the phone number no one picks up. I tried four times. The other thing I do not like there’s not a bag for dirty clothes in here. And no way to turn the lamp on and off it had to be unplugged. Check-in was a little confusing. I was given a code, but not told to put my hand on the door to open it. I will stay here again, but those are my concerns.

Virtual assistant didn’t pay attention to me, took a while to check in. Ceiling fan wobbly and made noises and really close to busy street. Other than that room was okay.

Too much outside noise from room, it sounded like something was hitting the drain pipe all night but it was the heating/air unit. We had to have the heater on all night for us to sleep without making that noise and it got really hot.

Having chose this particular hotel for the in room jacuzzi tub, was hugely disappointing that the bathtub did not function properly (bath spout does not work, only option to fill tub very slowely with shower) requested new room, none available with tub Tv did not function (tv could not connect and would load and then state connection unavailable) Room smelled horribly of wet dog, which wouldn’t be too bad. Except carpet was wet, which left our white socks, dirty/stained, wet and smelling like wet dog. Microwave in room was great except placed on shelf without plug. Microwave had to be moved to floor and nearest plug to use. Cooking on floor is not ideal while on vacation. Hugely disappointed Having experience in both high end and budget hotels, this would be disappointing even in the lowest end of motels.

They let us check in early, everything was smooth. It is on a busy street so don’t expect it to be quiet but we anticipated that.

Parking and location and everything was fine. Our beds were horribly uncomfortable. We actually had to check out a day early cause we couldn’t think about sleeping on them again. They were like sleeping on rocks

I would not choose this hotel for anything longer than one night or if you plan to have any time the hotel other than sleeping. It lacks any character, wasn't in great shape, etc. Definitely just a bed to sleep on and then leave

This is my second stay at the establishment and it’s clean and comforting. The location is perfect. It’s close to other areas my partner and I frequent, like the Westfield Valley Fair shopping mall and Winchester Mansion.

Overall the hotel is nice. The towels and the room can benefit from better cleaning, however. Under the beds were very dusty with items from the previous guests! Some towels had spots and stains on them. The breakfast area is nice. Staff are helpful.

The room is clean and comfortable. They have a mini fridge, microwave and smart TV. The free breakfast was a great bonus, including eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, bread, bagels, cereals, oatmeal and good coffee to start the day. Staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Overall, a great value for the area. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m visiting San Jose.

The room was nice, but the bed took up most of the actual room - the bathroom was mostly empty space - oversized with just a shower and toilet with sink outside bathroom placed in-between the entryway and the bed area of the room… May have been a converted ADA bathroom. Other than that, it was a nice hotel with very, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a great experience and great day! Definitely recommend if you’re going to the mall nearby or the Winchester mystery house!

The hotel felt safe and secure, near to all the entertainment we had planned but the building was dated and the baths looked as if the had been painted to cover wear and the paint was peeling badly.

Bring the bar back, but great place.

Called morning od in reaheds to check-in time & bah-drop off. We arrived a little late (3:40pm), amd room was not ready.

I love that we could walk to Santana Row. It was a nice little hotel.

I didn't stay! The hotel was entirely unattended. There were vagrants in the first-floor lobby, people walking around the hallways, the door combination wouldn't work, and worse, the receptionist was virtual. I did not feel safe in that hotel. Anytime you have a hotel with no receptionist or management, you're asking for trouble. Never again!

They had a couple problems in the bathroom one of the soup dispenser wasn’t working and TV has no volume. Thank you. Just suggestion. I believe feedback always help improve business. Everything else was good. Service was great little bit pro thank you so much.

Overall got was I payed for and was satisfied with what I got. Everything was clean and check in was no problem. I thought the new form of hotel keys and check in were cool. Going to take away some points because our bathroom lock didn’t work and some of the outlets didn’t work either.

It was a great experience staying in this hotel. Location is very accessible to everything.

Look, the property is in a prime location but the cleanliness was not it. Check-in was great & easy as the person was remote. Same for check-out. When I arrived to the room instantly noticed the dirty carpet, outdated appliances, DIRTY restroom. I was very skeptical about even using their sheets & towels. Unfortunately I arrived late, around 9:30pm & I had no energy to complain as I had to be up early the next day. The complementary breakfast was ok though. I wouldn’t stay here again but I hope this helps!

It was very weird that they had a virtual front desk and no actual person to check me in. Hotel is a bit outdated, strong perfumed smell throughout the halls. Jetted tub was older and kinda dingy, but a very large tub biggest I’ve seen. Rooms are not sound proof you can hear outside the door and I could hear someone’s shower as I walked the hallway. With a little more TLC this place could be a bit better.

Check in is an incredibly strange experience. Most of the time nobody is at the front desk and there is this kiosk with a remote person from a different country on there. It was so creepy to enter an empty lobby and then to hear a disembodied voice say “m’am, hello”. I felt like I was in the movie set of a fake hotel and was spooked out. Then the bathroom had a broken fan that sounded like a construction working drilling with a sledge hammer if you ever wanted to turn the bathroom light on and the thermostat on the wall didn’t connect to the AC so you had to go to the wall unit to turn it on. The room was crazy musty going in because the AC had been off. I switched rooms and it got MUCH better thankfully.

It is more of a motel… I take that back it’s more of a Hostel. Their idea of the front desk employee was the remote employee that was on the opposite of a computer monitor that was extremely unprofessional, was clearly not alone while trying to check me into my room as she kept looking over her shoulder and giggling with whomever was standing beside her while she was scanning my ID and CC to which I have no clue if the person next to her made note of since clearly they could see me but I could only see the fake background that replicated the hotel lobby. The entire check in process was a nightmare and the quality of the rooms were terrible! Rusted pipes and the towels were so filthy and stained and felt like sand paper and there was much more wrong with this hotel but I will just allow the photos to speak for themselves.

I requested a late check out via the text messaging service that they had and didn’t get a response. There was no one to ask at the front desk for it.

Rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Located near freeway and Santana Row shopping. Heavy street traffic made walking unpleasant.

I reported a noise complaint and it was never dealt with. The room next to mine had music playing starting at 3 am and it never turned off.

Lovely place. Good selections for breakfast. Only negative was the lack of working electrical outlets. It’s a problem that being worked on.

If I do stay there again, I prefer NOT to have an ADA room.

check in and check out was a breeze. Breakfast was good. The only thing that I found bizarre was the sink is outside of the bathroom, all other aspect of the hotel is good.

We had a very fun stay in the area besides the hotel. It was nice as a point of access to all of the places we wanted to go, but the hotel was grungy and the rooms seemed to be in a state of disrepair, besides the lobby and public areas. The lack of on-site staff (besides cleaners) did not give us much faith that anybody checks the rooms regularly to oversee the guest experience. Mysterious substances on the walls of the bathroom seemed to confirm our fears that the rooms are given no more than a surface cleaning and a change of sheets before it's on to the next.

I chose this hotel under the impression that their parking was secure and they were walking distance to Santa Row. Parking is open to the street on the main strip, which we heard all night long thru the thin paned windows. We found the front door/desk were difficult to find. It was mostly clean with comfortable beds. No eggs at breakfast but at least they had sausage. Not at all walking distance to The Row. But it makes for a perfect business stop.

The room at first glance was clean but upon inspection there was dust and smudges in several places, not terrible but then I checked the filter of the AC unit, wiped it with a tissue and it was CAKED with dust. I had to clean it because my partner has asthma and would have had an attack otherwise. The beds were decent enough, didn't cause me pain, I have back issues so this is always a concern. The breakfast was pretty good, nothing too fancy but had a good fresh variety which I always love to see. The staff was good, other than that one mistake, was friendly. The set up was very different than I'm used to. The door lock was just a code so we didnt' have to keep track of a card. Check out was strange because it was a zoom call on a kiosks, different but interesting. All in all, might stay again but will be requesting a head of time that the room is properly cleaned, especially the air con unit.

The rooms here are are super modern and REALLY cool looking, one of ours had blue LEDs in the fancy ceiling, the whole place is gorgeous. Super clean, all the staff were hella nice, I'd expect a place like this to be waaaay more than the $150ish a night we spent. We're in town a few times a year, def be trying to stay here whenever we can.

My vision is limited so key code access to hotel and room was very inconvenient and difficult to manage.

Check in by computer. AI or weird live person. Computer crashes while you try to check in. Robotic person comes on screen and check you in. Polite but will ask you the same questions over and over. Key code for doors and room. So if your travel weary it can be rough. Breakfast is lame.

The service at the hotel was really good. The thermostat in our room didn't seem to work correctly, no matter what I or the front desk attendant didthe air conditioner would not blow cold. After the the room got up to 89° I called the front desk and he came up and looked at it. He was unable to get it to blow colder. He said that we could open the window, and did for us. Even after having the window open for several hours the thermostat was still reading 80°.

This is a standard three star hotel and they don't do room cleaning until you check out. During my stay for the 4 days, only one time they cleaned the room because the first day I checked in, the next morning I checked out and extended my stay for the rest 3days. I booked only one night for the first day. So when by the time I extended my stay, they cleaned it. Even after the second day I stayed there and asked for room service, they didn't do it. Please bear in mind that you really need to bear a used room for the rest days of time staying.

It was clean and had a good breakfast. The location wasnt the best and not many restaurants near by that didnt look a little runned down. Seemed to be on the edge of a rough neighborhood.

I had a leaky sink and they sent a housekeeper who wiped up the suds on the floor and said no, it's not leaking and then said she would come back. I tried the sink again and of course it leaked AGAIN. Took 45 minutes to get this resolved and they have no one actually on site working the front desk. I would not stay here again. Also extremely noisy. You can hear people in the next room who are just talking at a normal level and people out front. A lot of street noise comes in.

Really good for a quick trip. Very close to the mall and Santana Row. I personally found the bed very uncomfortable like it felt like sleeping on a board with a blanket in between. But the staff was very nice and efficient. Again for a quick trip, it was good!

You do not check in with a live person. You talk to a person on a computer screen who is not in the room. If you do not have access to your cell phone, it makes for a complicated stay as there is no room key, just a door code you access from your email.

I was a little disappointed that we had cold water there was a red stain on the rug not sure if that was blood but it sure looked like blood stain also parking spots were a little tight

The stay in the hotel was great but again I had issues with Hotels.com as they canceled my reservation because I arrived late. Luckily, the front desk was able to resolve.

The bathroom ceiling starting leaking water when the upstairs room was showering and flooded the entire bathroom floor.

The only thing i dont like about this hotel is the shower head. The hotel is good but i couldn’t believe that they couldnt afford to install a small thing like shower head to make it a perfect hotel to stay. The shower head is very cheap. Looks like they got it from a junky yard sale for free.

Checking in we used the virtual rep. Was quick easy, only thing the volume could be a little louder. Not all the outlets in room worked. Wifi for the tv did not work. Wifi would go in and out or say not connected but the wifi would work on my phone. When it did connect to wifi it would play about 2 min and load for almost 10 min to the point I had to use my personal hotspot. The morning of checking out our bathroom light was flickering and the light went out.
