Reviews
The hotel has a great location and friendly staff, but the ongoing worker strike and resulting noise disruptions are a significant issue for many guests. The rooms are clean but outdated, with some minor maintenance issues.

I got in on the late side, and had heavy bags with me. I discovered I was on the far end of the first floor hallway. The minute I opened the door to my room, I was hit with a nauseating smell that I can only describe as a musty, old, greasy restaurant kitchen smell. The room itself looked clean, but the smell was unbearable. I called the front desk. They were busy so it took about 30 minutes, but they eventually brought me a new key and helped me with my bags so I could move to a different room. The staff was all very kind, so no fault of their own, but it was mentioned that there is a sewage issue that's worse in the summer heat. Unfortunately, the new room wasn't much better, and this time facing other peoples windows and overlooking their balconies, but I was too tired to find another solution and didn't want to hassle the kind staff when it now seemed clear they weren't going to be able to resolve the issue. Breakfast was wonderful, the staff was very attentive, and the general amenities of the hotel were as expected, but they really need to resolve the sewage issue in the rooms for the guests.
- 4/5
The hotel and property were clean and overall seemed great. The room was mostly updated and clean, but the bed was not ideal. The mattress was not comfortable, and the bedframe overall sounded and felt not stable. The staff was friendly, and while we didn’t eat there, the restaurant/bar looked great and we’d check it out if we return.
- 5/5
Perfect location for the night before a cruise departure
- 3/5
Looked a lot better than the photos online. Very disappointing but I’ve had worse hotels. Always thought Doubletree was nice.
- 2/5
Room smelled of mildew and furnishings were old and worn.

Excellent location to stay when departing on a cruise. Minutes from the cruise port. Nice marina walking area to take in the sights or get your steps in. Room was dated, but generally maintained. On-site restaurant was good, and open late. Cruise shuttle was full so we had to pay for an uber but uber was only around $15.

Overall ok, met the Hilton Standard Charge for parking that used to be free.
- 5/5
Very busy hotel, with pre/post cruisers. Good restaurant and bar area. The Hotel is not near any shops or amenities.
- 4.5/5
Water front The Bartender was very rude
- 5/5
The cookies! Free transport to the cruise port.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked great! We had breakfast in the restaurant, it was delicious. Our waitress was funny and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint would be that we did not have a refrigerator in our room and the ice bucket was too small LoL will definitely stay again.
- 3/5
The staff, when you could get their full attention seemed resigned to “Just doing their job” For the premiere cost , I was not impressed .
- 4/5
Place is decent. Charged $4 at 8am for some less than mid coffee.
- 4/5
At check-in, the clerk was not friendly. She did not tell me about the free breakfast or the happy hour every day.
- 5/5
Loved the cookies
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Great location and wonderful, friendly staff. The front desk was very accommodating and made check-in quick and easy. The complimentary cookies were a nice touch, and we loved the view from our room. The room was clean and comfortable. My only wish is that the room had a small fridge.
- 3/5
Staff was great, friendly and responsive. The outdoor pool was warmer than air temperature and very pleasant even on a chilly morning. Management should watch their contractors closer too, lots of paint splotches where they didn't put down drop cloths, and things like toilets and faucets mounted at incorrect angles that should have been caught before they signed off on it. The cruise shuttle was nice and efficient, and proximity to the port is a main choice factor for this location. Will probably try a different place next time, depending on price and convenience.
- 5/5
Manager was able to accommodate our request. My son love the welcome chocolate cookies. The servers were great, and the avocado toast for breakfast was scrumptious!

Horrible services and customer service
- 3/5
Twice the one and only employee at the front desk came through the lobby to check on our names, telling me twice he’d “get back to me” on room updates and not only did he never update me, he went home. It wasn’t until 4pm that anything was available. Omar who checked me in was much more pleasant. My room on the first floor was more banged up and in poor condition than the lobby. The bathroom slider was chipped and coming apart. The carpet was filthy in the corners. Every fixture was scuffed and scratched and in poor condition. The TV was nice. My sliding glass door was a struggle to open and then the screen nearly came off the track in order to open it. On the first floor I had a small patio area with two chairs that don’t ever look like they’ve been sanitized and brush and nature around it with an immediate view of the pool. The chair in the room was stained in multiple spots and grossed me out so bad I didn’t sit on it. The staircases between the floors hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in a very long time. I left early the next morning due to the grimey feel.

I experienced a headache while there throughout the day and night it also smelled like poison for mice off and on the head ache got worse and I saw black shaped dots in the back of my head. Also put special instructions on my reservation early check-in 8 am to 9 am as early check in They allowed me to request it and added up everything the hotel added a 44.00 early check-in fee to my bill
- 4/5
restaurant setup was a little off-putting. we didnt eat there.
- 2/5
We were given the wrong room- where people were already staying in.
- 4/5
Very nice property and great location. The restrooms in lobby were filthy and our rooms were not together . We were separated by 40 rooms .
- 5/5
Breakfast was too expensive, so opted not to have any. Nice Room, Lots of windows/light. Comfortable bed.

Stayed here the night before a cruise. Perfect location and had everything we needed.
- 5/5
The place was great to u ask for a cookie and the manager ask me if I am staying there and why I want a cookie I was with my 70 year old parents that’s what they wanted after talking with the manager with brown hair she finally gave 3 cookies had to fight go get them I think she has a side hustle on the cookies she guarded that with her life
- 5/5
They were great but didn’t want to part with the cookies the lady at the front desk must of had I side hustle
- 4/5
Pretty chill like the Ocean hood vibes
- 5/5
Place was great location and looked nice in the lobby, from photos, etc but the rooms were not as pleasant. Wait staff was alright, for the most part accommodating, but they switch out so often that none of them were up to date on the issues that never got taken care of. It definitely could have been worse, but I would not go back.
- 5/5
Comfortable stay pre cruise. Free shuttle to the port of San Pedro, request upon check in. We were upgraded to a one bed king suite with breakfast. Room was spacious, staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying at this hotel pre and post cruise.
- 3/5
They dont have fridge in room. Also reception mentioned they will add me to free shuttle port drop off but it when the day came our name was not on shuttle driver's list. That caused last minute panic. They gave me a king bed room. But carpet was so dirty our feet socks turned back by walking on carpet in room. They dont have any bathrobes and slippers for customers. Their beach towel is good enough for toddler only, not meant to be for adults.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 5/5
The shuttle mentioned in the description does not go to the airport, but it does go to the docks. We grabbed an UBER from the airport.
- 5/5
Everything was great, but the nice surprise was the fact that they had security guards always walking around the property.
- 5/5
Second time staying at this property and it never disappoints! The rooms are clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful! Already looking forward to my next visit.

Loved this hotel!
- 3/5
We had a late check in but was greeted warmly. The hotel could use a bit of a refresh. The breakfast area was filthy and poorly stocked but service was pleasant.
- 3/5
There were several things in the room that needed up keep. Bathroom looked water damaged. Ac broken. Not worth the money
- 5/5
Staff was excellent. Just older hotel can do for clean and upgrade carpet

If I’m ever back to LA I will stay away from this property. The bed was horrible, exhaust fan in restroom didn’t work, no extra towels brought to room( waited an hour), some lights didn’t work, carpet was dirty, room layout was horrible, and I can’t emphasize enough the bed was horrible. Woke up early because my back hurt.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, staff helpful, and food great.
- 5/5
Breakfast was a little expensive at $21 per person.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Staff was friendly. The room and grounds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Some confusion at front desk for check-in. Property seemed a bit dated, but the room was fine. Restaurant was pretty good. Overall pretty much just OK.
- 3/5
Overall, we only stayed one night. The room smelled very musty definitely very outdated and needs updating very badly. The room was overall clean other than the musty smell. The female bartender was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Got to the cruise ship early with no hassles.
- 5/5
The layout of the property.
- 1/5
They did not have the room we reserved. That room they gave us was in terrible condition
- 3/5
Property needs maintenance and linens were falling apart Had to pay for coffee outside of breakfast.

- 4/5
We stayed one night before heading to Catalina Island. The rooms were very nice, Marina view, no balconies. Still very nice setting. We took their shuttle to the restaurant for lunch and for dinner. Shuttle service was great for us. Area was very nice to walk around, Lots of places to sit quietly and staff were very nice! Their free cookies upon check in were amazing and they even had gluten free for two family members. They also supplies us with some bottled water. We are planning to stay again next year before cruise. It's a beautiful spot! We didn't get to the hot tub nor the breakfast as our time was limited.
- 4/5
Had a good stay double queen booked for a family of 4. At some point this property needs a major renovation. The hall ways and entry ways smell so does the rooms like an old building, maybe due to carpet. Breakfast was outstanding! 10/10 recommend. Great area to stay if youre cruising as ship terminal is up the street. Also you can park your car there for a fee and catch a shuttle from their property about 8mins but i chose to pay at port, tad cheaper and i wont have to wait to shuttle. Rooms are fair, clean but could use an update as well. Front desk was pleasant and accommodating as well as management. There was a hiccup at checkin with a staff member but it was corrected right away! All in all would stay again
- 3/5
room was not clean
- 5/5
Good hot breakfast and table service.
- 4/5
Great spot to stay before a cruise. Reception staff were very friendly. Not a lot of dining options around us tho and the in-hotel restaurant was not bad but veryyy expensive.
- 5/5
Perfect if going or returning from a cruise.
- 3/5
Carpets seemed dirty and it was very dated
- 4/5
The Shuttle to the Cruise Ship dock was running about 20-30 minutes late so you should plan accordingly. The Drinks in the bar were not great and they over charged us at Happy Hour, the breakfast buffet was too expensive for what they were serving
- 3/5
Food was not great and expensive l. Beds were hard
- 3/5
the carpet throughout the property, including our room was stained and needed cleaning. The front desk staff, except for Elizabeth and Taylor never acknowledged our presence. Housekeeping was friendlier that the front desk staff. We felt invisible. The two gentlemen at the desk kept their conversation going, using slang and not acknowledging ANY of the guests. I expected more from the brand. We will never stay at this property again and will advise our friends not to
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay for a couple of days before a cruise! Shuttle was available to take us to town and on the morning of the cruise the shuttle driver took us all to the port of call in a few trips! Food was good, service was good, and the staff was friendly! Will use this hotel again for sure!
- 5/5
We will be back in February! Great place before a cruise. The staff were so helpful not because they had to but because they wanted to! We made the right choice!
- 3/5
The surroundings are beautiful right on the waterfront. That's what makes it worth the stay. If it wasn't the hotel falls short. Its the?area that brings this hotel all the value
- 5/5
Staff and location were great
- 4/5
Hotel needs updating in the rooms. You can hear everything outside.
- 3/5
We had a very large room that was comfortable and had a nice view of the marina, but the fixtures, fittings, and furniture were all very worn. The maids did a nice job keeping it clean, but things like lamps being unable to be turned on and dimmer switches missing their slider knobs were annoying. Worst of all was the temperature control; there is no wall thermostat but there are two utterly baffling remote controls for temperature that did little to nothing as far as we could tell. We stayed on a day that was cool outside (mid 60s) but had to open the windows to get the room cool enough to sleep. I’m genuinely unsure if the temperature remotes did anything, but they definitely require a tutorial as the numerous buttons had labels that were counterintuitive at best. We didn’t get to try the restaurant while we were there, but we did hear a manager saying the property was scheduled for remodeling soon, which is great news. Would I stay there again? Probably not; though the price was very reasonable; I might consider it only after a total remodel.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
This is an older but extremely well maintained property. Omar at the front desk gave us exemplary service, Rene in the restaurant served us the Best Nachos in recent history, along with great margaritas during Happy Hour. Our complimentary shuttle by Ivan to our cruise ship continued to put the "S" in Service. The view of the marina was extraordinary. Tiny minuses would be having to search for plugs behind furniture as only one side of the bed accommodated charging ---- and sound travelled a bit from hallway doors closing and people walking in the hallways and above. Decent small gym, loads of parking, and a nice paved walking path around the marina and further made our stay wonderfully.
- 5/5
Perfect hotel to choose before a cruise departure, with free shuttle to the port. The breakfast buffet is good, and includes waiter service in the dining room (with mandatory tip added to your room cost). Free cookies and water bottles for Hilton Rewards members.
- 3/5
I booked this property because there was a gym onsite only to find the gym closes at 10pm and only reopens at 6. I guess because it is connected to the pool- seems like they should have a work around for this- but C’est la vie I guess… So if you enjoy a late night or early am workout skip!!
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. They were very organized with the shuttle to the cruise line. Loved the shuttle service around the area during our stay. We thought breakfast was included but that is only for certain people.
- 5/5
This was a very clean, aesthetically pleasing hotel in A lovely area of San Pedro. We really enjoyed the marina view. There were lots of walking past to take a nice stroll in the evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
Enjoyed the bar, staff & food. We wanted to sit outside though the patio overlooking the marina was being cleaned with a garden blower that had just commenced & should have been done well before the bar/cafe opened for happy hour, disappointed about that. Please put tile throughout the hallways to the rooms, so hard to handle luggage on that carpet. Other than those issues the room was nice & comfortable and appreciated the shuttle ride to the cruise port.
- 4/5
Stayed overnight, not able to try hot tub
- 5/5
Wonderful stay, great restaurant & bar. Will stay again if we take another cruise.
- 4/5
Restaurant breakfast took over an hour as we wired at a table after giving our order. It was terrible!
- 3/5
Was ok
- 5/5
great staff
- 4/5
Great location. Room was clean and staff were very friendly.
- 2/5
Having to wait for almost 2 hours to eat because they had to serve a group from China airlines and many of us had to wait. The kitchen was swamped but we still got our food late even though we came in before them. For the price we paid for one night, I will no longer stay at a Double Tree. Better places to stay.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Room was huge and comfortable. Bathroom okay, I should have requested a handicapped room as I use a cane and getting in and out of a tub shower is treacherous for me. Otherwise good overall.
- 5/5
Perfect hotel for pre-cruise stay. Loved it.
- 4/5
Great service and location
- 3/5
Staff was super friendly especially the waiter at the restaurant. Rooms could be a little more tidy but overall pretty clean. The only disappointment was the lack of room service even though it is advertised. Perfect if you are cruising and need a stress-free shuttle to cruise terminal.
- 3/5
Toilet was not stable. Paint peeling from bath ceiling. A lot of dust. My wife had to wipe down the entire room.
- 3/5
Staff were great. Hotel needs some TLC. Dingy floors.
- 3/5
The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel needs improvement. The pool area was not clean at all. The jacuzzi had algae in it.
- 3/5
Our room was clean, beds a little too soft for us bathroom light had bulb burnt out didn’t specify parking was $25 a night we still had to pay full price for breakfast buffet even though it closed early wasn’t able to go back for more food and the coffee tasted burnt

No cookies on arrival! Boo! We're weren't told about the shuttle to the port. The hotel was ok for one night.
- 5/5
My husband and I loved this hotel! We went with our 6 month old and she absolutely loved it! Room was clean and we were so close to many things to do as a family! Highly recommend!
- 2/5
Nice location. Ridiculous prices. Paid $40 for 3 beers. Paid $32 for the breakfast buffet which was soggy instant eggs and microwave sausage patty. I was told I get the member discount but then a week later, said I don’t get it.
- 5/5
1. Need to update pool loungers and chairs several are sun rotted and ripped seating
- 4/5
The door to bathroom was broken. Other then that it was good!
- 4/5
The hot tub heater was broken so we couldn’t use it, the kids were very disappointed
- 4/5
The room was clean, the staff at the hotel were friendly. This review only is about the hotel itself not the restaurant. I would drive into San Pedro for food.
- 5/5
Helpful and friendly staff with clean facilities!

- 3/5
Proximity to cruise port was ok, overall the hotel was ok. The hotel wasn’t near anything such as shopping or dining options so you are likely to eat at hotel restaurant which was average. Hotel and rooms felt dated and run down. Decent pool. Nice walk around marina outside. Went with intention of using shuttle to cruse port and there was no availability for time to sign up when we arrived.
- 4/5
The staff were so welcoming. It was amazing!! We had a great room that faced the marina. The room was clean. The only thing was that the beds were a bit uncomfortable. It was a great value for being to close to the port.
- 5/5
It’s was a beautiful stay
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay.

Property was clean, enjoyed view.

- 5/5
The room was great. The staff was helpful. We were hoping to eat there but they closed. The shuttle took us to an expensive restaurant then we had to walk back at least 2 miles because they stopped the shuttle at 5. They do not put on the website that they do not shuttle to Carnival port so we had to get an uber. Wish we knew this we would have booked a hotel closer to the port. I still give this hotel a 4 star.
- 5/5
The property was welcoming and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Loved the airport shuttle for the cruise! It was super convenient. Walking along the marina was a perfect start to my vacation!
- 3/5
Check in staff could be friendlier and a little bit more informative. Room service was requested but service was never received.Staff were quite dismissive of guest enquiries. Shuttle service to cruise port was easy and service was great.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and park when cruising out of Los Angeles
- 5/5
Clean room, nice friendly staff and great happy hour!!
- 2/5
In the first room, the toilet overflowed. Maintenance came to fix it but ended up touching door handles, walls, and light switches, and even used the bathroom towels to clean the floor—definitely not ideal from a cleanliness standpoint. We requested a new room, but the second room had its own issue—the shower wouldn’t drain, and the tub filled up quickly while showering. The third room was the one we ultimately stayed in, but even there, the sink faucet handles leaked whenever the water was running. On a positive note, the staff was kind and polite throughout. However, even housekeeping mentioned that the property has ongoing plumbing issues, and that we weren’t the first guests to experience these problems. Overall, not the best hotel experience due to repeated maintenance and cleanliness concerns.
- 2/5
Hotel room smelled like a port a potty and the only reason we stayed here was to get the shuttle to the cruise port. When we arrived, they told us the shuttle had no more availability.
- 5/5
Great breakfast! Clean room, friendly helpful staff. Free shuttle to cruise ship port! Warm cookies and bottled water on arrival. This is a great place to stay!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Easy access to cruise port. Be sure to reserve a shuttle space as soon as you can.
- 4/5
Lobby was clean. Staff was friendly. There was no microwave in the room. Room was clean but bed felt old.
- 3/5
My only complaint was I had a granddaughter that got sick in the middle of the night. We went up in the morning to see if we could buy some toast for her and take it back to the room. They told us we would have to pay the $22.00 for the whole buffet. Really you couldn't make an exception for a sick child? We didn't ask for it for free. One of our members was even a VIP with owning their timeshare through Hilton.
- 3/5
The proximity to, and included shuttle to the port make it worth the stay. But otherwise not really worth it from what we saw.
- 3/5
The location is outstanding and grounds are beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room had issues. We had a king bed that needed replacement with lumps and the heater in our room emitted a foul smell.
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay before departing on your cruise. The restaurant served good food, the room was comfortable. The shuttle service to the port was well organized and ran on time. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
Manager and front desk rude hotel run down dirty
- 2/5
The hotel was nice enough, but it is hard to believe that breakfast was not included. Rather than stand in line to pay for breakfast, we elected to leave early and seek food elsewhere. The only reason we could do that is that we had a car. Most fly in so they were stuck. Very poor form on your part.
- 3/5
The room we had wasn’t great - no view and a weird closet (the bar to hang clothes was below our waist) but it was clean and served its purpose. It was close to the cruise port and had a shuttle but we were concerned because the luggage was piled high in the back with no safety netting. If the driver had to slam on the brakes, the people in the back could have been seriously injured! Mt he dining area was very nice - overlooked the marina.
- 5/5
Loved the shuttle to the cruise terminal
- 5/5
Awesome location for cruising
- 2/5
Dead spider on the ceiling, did not come and remove. Trash overflowing. Staff was not very friendly.
- 4/5
Location and shuttle to cruise line was excellent and a few good restaurants around the area
- 4/5
I am not aware of an airport shuttle. We used Uber.
- 5/5
Didn’t use airport shuttle
- 5/5
Always a pleasure
- 3/5
Room was nice and clean
- 2/5
Rooms were outdated and dirty. Not as described, stayed one night as it was closer to port.
- 5/5
The property was clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk upon check in were great- friendly, helpful, and quick.
- 3/5
The staff was very nice. I had a nice large room that overlooked the marina full of boats. The hotel is beautiful. One complaint: no one ever came to clean my room after my arrival. I was told that post-COVID I needed to arrange room cleaning, which I did after the first night, but still no one came during my entire stay. I've never experienced that at a hotel before.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Room was very ckean, staff was friendly and helpful
- 5/5
They were friendly and had a nice free shuttle to the cruise port
- 4/5
This is a great place to stay. It is close to the beach and very walkable. The staff is amazing!!!!! The rooms are ok, they need to be updated. But they were clean and very spacious.
- 5/5
It served our purpose which was one night stay before our cruise started. All staff were helpful and friendly. Clean but dated. No free breakfast-they have a restaurant with good food. We were able to leave our car in their parking lot during our cruise and they shuttled us to the terminal. This was $27/day. Higher price than using terminal parking but very convient.
- 4/5
Location is always great. Love the view and the staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Nice room breakfast wasnt incp
- 1/5
My stay here had to be cut short. When I first arrived they placed me in a room where the internet service didn’t work, I was moved to another room. I went to that room and the covers had dried up blood on them. I really had no choice but to stay a night and they up graded me to a better room after telling me it was sold out: it was just a mess
- 4/5
Good location and views. We enjoyed our stay for one night.
- 4/5
Great room and location!
- 5/5
Great staff. Nice room. Close to ship
- 5/5
The room was amazing, the staff was amazing. Such friendly staff everywhere! This is my second time staying at a doubletree, because I had such a good experience staying at one in Seattle last year. I also love the free shuttle around the area, and the welcome cookie and bottle of water!
- 2/5
This place is run down. The pool is not open year-round. I didn't think the value was very good. The restaurant wasn't that great either. Good staff, just not a nice environment.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was very attentive.
- 3/5
The staff was good. The room was disappointing. Poor lighting, warm but not hot water, loose sink fixture, rickety elevator, no EV charging. We just expected it to be a nicer hotel. They could use a renovation.
- 1/5
What a mess. I stayed at this property a year ago
- 3/5
The room was clean but the bathroom door was a pocket door that didn’t close all of the way. The property is a little dated and they definitely need more staff. We were a bit put off that it took them 5 hours after checking in to get us towels. Luckily we were there only one night before our cruise. I don’t think we’ll stay there next time.
- 3/5
The hotel is worn down but clean. Lots of chocolate chip cookies at the counter. Location was convenient for the cruise but far from other options. Next time I would stay further inland. Restaurant service was extremely poor. Would stay again.
- 1/5
The room was dirty and poorly maintained. There was visible mold in the bathroom and shower, mildew and water stains on the ceiling and walls, and a ripped, stained shower curtain. The bathroom door lock didn’t work, the windows were filthy, and the door handles and panels had visible grime. Even the iron had black mold inside, making it unusable. Housekeeping never showed up once in three days — no towels, no trash removal, nothing. The bed was collapsed in the middle, uncomfortable, and covered with a tattered frame skirt that looked neglected and worn. To make matters worse, on checkout morning — a holiday — the hotel tested the fire alarms at 9:30 AM, blasting deafening noise through the building with no warning. And throughout the entire stay, there was no manager on site to address any of these issues. For the price I paid, this experience was outrageous. This property is far below Hilton standards, and I strongly recommend avoiding it until management and maintenance are completely overhauled.

Friendly staff Clean, comfortable room
- 4/5
Excellent location facing beautiful marina and just a few minutes away from LA cruise terminal. The rooms and amenities are somewhat older ☺️ It would be nice to have a check in available earlier than 4pm
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Everything was great except for smell of marijuana in the hallway near elevator
- 4/5
Was a convenient place to stay near the ports for a cruise. Loved walking around the marina.
- 3/5
Old and tired
- 4/5
Have stayed at this property a number of years ago… Staff were Great - Location (near the Port) is Great… Was a good single night stay, and would stay again, eventhough the building is starting to show is age, with a bit of wear !!!
- 5/5
We had a clean room and staff was courteous.
- 4/5
Nice!
- 3/5
27 dollars for parking surprise at check out. Maybe I missed the parking fee in hotel details and pricing. Extremely high price for breakfast at hotel, wow! Room was clean, nice size television, but I had another persons long hairs on my bed,no visible lice. First hotel I have been in,that I can hear the people upstairs simply walking. You can hear the occupants in all rooms surrounding. But I'm from Las Vegas so my standards my be higher than average.
- 5/5
Yes Excellent
- 5/5
Friendly, helpful, and courteous staff and very clean rooms. Our room had an excellent view of the boat basin. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to San Pedro.
- 3/5
Staff
- 4/5
Room was nice. Big!! However we couldn’t adjust the air conditioner and it was very chilly!! The bathroom was nice. Good products to use. The only thing was we found someone else’s sweater, on the floor, behind the chair in the room so I was concerned the cleaning/vacuuming wasn’t as good as it should have been. We stayed on Super Bowl Sunday and they struggled to have the dining area/bar with working TV’s to accommodate the crowd. That was disappointing.
- 2/5
No fridge, which was ok because they did bring one on request. When they brought it, it was dirty, and smelled. Maintenance told me I had to keep the entry way light switch on to make the fridge work. I travel for work a lot, and this trip was such a bummer. The hotel was run down, and seemed dirty.
- 4/5
The hotel was relatively clean and the room was large but it could use a refresh and better lighting in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was good.
- 5/5
We stayed here the night before a cruise leaving from the Long Beach Port and it was probably the best one we’ve stayed at. The property was clean, check in was a breeze and it’s situated on a marina with a walkway perfect for a night/morning walk or jog. It’s only a few min from port so it’s very convenient for cruisers. It’s also not far from convenience stores and places to eat, but there is a restaurant on site as well. Absolutely recommend and have already booked again for our next pre-cruise stay.
- 5/5
A very nice place to stay.
- 4/5
Great location for a pre cruise stay
- 3/5
Room was clean, but only 1 roll of tp. No tp holder. View would have be3 great but the out windows were filty on the ground level.
- 2/5
Do not eat at their restaurant! Huge prices, limited menu, and sub-standard food. No complimentory coffee in the lobby, $4 for a small cup. The cookie was ok. If you have to eat, there are a couple of restaurants close by. Convenient for cruises, so they have you over a barrel.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and courteous!
- 5/5
Awesome staff clean room
- 4/5
Clean ,large room. Bed very comfortable. Pillows too. Great area. Arrived the night before a little late so could not get an earlyshuttle to the pier
- 4/5
Yea
- 2/5
Old, needs remodelin. Didnt have towels or soap. Evryone was pretty rude too.
- 4/5
Great quiet location near the cruise terminal
- 5/5
Enjoyed the area , close to cruise terminal. Great staff, courteous
- 4/5
Some ware and tear. Shower drain was clogged. Nowhere to plug in the coffee pot except the bathroom. For the price I expected better
- 3/5
Good for the price.
- 3/5
Adequate for a one night stay before catching a cruise
- 2/5
The property was dirty. Stains all over the common area furniture. General disrepair. Dirty bathrooms and disrepair there as well. The staff was nice and the setting was nice, but it seems the busyness caused by the cruise port is an excuse to have a dirty property. I definitely regretted booking there. Rooms not ready on time, may not be staffed appropriately to keep such a busy property clean.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Amazing service. Clean in all areas. Very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Staff
- 5/5
Easy check in
- 5/5
Clean and Very Friendly Employees
- 4/5
Room was great and staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Have been going since I can remember. Feels like home away from home!
- 5/5
Very nice room...bedding was awesome. Restaurant was expensive but it is California.
- 5/5
The front desk was very helpful
- 5/5
Great room and staff
- 4/5
Room O.K. Outside patio was filthy, unsanitary. Tables were soiled & sticky from food and beverages, with beer bottles on the ground, and dirty glasses on tables. Next morning had coffee and discovered that nothing had been cleaned or picked up. Went to front desk and advised that the patio was filthy & unsanitary and had cleaned in at least two days. That evening I returned to the patio and found that only a half hearted attempt at cleaning the patio had been attempted, food remained, table tops, chairs and ground not properly cleaned or disinfected.
- 5/5
Courteous staff
- 5/5
Easy check in with friendly staff. Room is nice and clean.
- 1/5
I escalated my issue and concern for the cleanliness of the room and hotel. It’s filthy and health hazardsous
- 3/5
Staff were phenomenal and amazing. The room was outdated. Bathroom light was old and pink, the room was super hot when AC wasn't on and super cold when it was, overall fine for one night. We stayed here due to loving double tree and Hilton, however, might be staying elsewhere if sailing out of San Pedro for a cruise again.
- 3/5
We were allowed to check early which was nice. Room was ok. Bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. Issues with the toilet. Toilet ran most of the night. Inside guts needing replaced in the tank. Breakfast was overpriced for serve yourself. Room price ahould have encluded breakfast.
- 5/5
So just would suggest more shuttle services.
- 5/5
Excellent staff, location and experience.
- 4/5
Location to cruise ship was most important. Hotel room was basic but did not include breakfast I would say everything was just satisfactory but not great.
- 3/5
- The cost for the room was good - wonderful visual location next to the harbor - room was clean and presentable The bad - generally the lobby staff were just OK. The rooms were ready JUST before 4 pm. When we tried to check in early, we were told that they would be ready in 15-20 minutes for 2 hours. Do what you say and don't placate people. - The lobby ( serves as the dining room also) has plenty of room for more chairs and tables w/o crowding. During breakfast and dinner, anticipate and hour before you are seated to eat. There are plenty of extra chairs and tables in the locked conference room area next to the lobby. - The mini store items are way out of sight in pricing... a bottle of water $9. and then after you buy it they will offer another person a free bottle at the desk. The same place you pay for the $9 dollar one. - Look at you bill at the bar / food area...... automatic gratuity of 20% even if the service level is terrible. - with out a car there is not much for food alternatives close by. Based on the positives and negatives... - They need a new problem solving general manager and management team. - We will not return until we see that these issues are fixed and reviews show it. -The main reason we gave it 3 stars is the rooms were clean and great visual location.
- 5/5
Staff was exceptional in service.
- 5/5
Location cleanliness and amenities. Would definitely stay again. So close to the cruise port.
- 3/5
5am you can hear rolling carts from the main floor from the kitchen it’s so loud because they trying to drive a metal cart in brick pavement it woke me up 4days in a row friendly staff but I have to ask for new towels every day
- 5/5
Wayer
- 5/5
Everything was excellent great staff
- 4/5
The room electronic locks are iffy. We had problems with the room lock having a dead battery and the key cards quit working after 24 hours. The shuttle service is great!
- 5/5
Lovely staff and nice rooms. Would stay again.
- 5/5
We had such a great time, David was awesome, beautiful stay!
- 2/5
If you are planning to stay after cruise then please ignore this place. They Kept us waiting for almost 6 hours got room at 3 pm when our cruise landed at 8 am. The hotel won’t give you room before 3 even though the whole hotel is empty.
- 5/5
Cute & quiet
- 5/5
Clean and staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Convenient to the cruise port, clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean, quality, friendly staff, a perfect stay
- 5/5
Easy to find, room preferences were accommodated, everything was clean and comfortable and proximity to the port was great.
- 5/5
The transportation to the cruise ship was efficient and well worth the price of staying at the hotel.
- 1/5
WAS NEVER CHECKED BECAUSE I WAS ROBBED GETTING INTO TAXI I ASKED FOR CANCEL THIS MORNING AFTER I WAS ABLE TO CONTACT HOTEL WITH MY REGRETS ( HAZAN) ASSURED ME THAT IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF PLEASE HELP!!!
- 4/5
No cookies on the pillow
- 2/5
Needs some tlc
- 4/5
Overall the hotel is great. It’s in a safe location and within short walking distance to the beach and a few local restaurants. This is an ideal location if you’re just on a weekender before a cruise or want to enjoy the beach. If you’re looking for ready access to “nightlife” then you should stay somewhere else. There is literally nothing to do after sundown in this area.
- 3/5
Made us wait until 4.20 pm to get a room even though we were at the property by 2pm. Early checkin was impossible as linens were not available. This should have been a 2 stars but giving another 1 as the room was decent, bedding was clean and rest of the amenities were taken care of well. But the hallways are super long and that was not mentioned when room was allocated.
- 4/5
Here arrived at our destination and had great experience with your staff here double trees hotels and resort. Thanks again
- 5/5
Excellent staff, especially Luis at the front desk. The room and view were great (thank you, Luis!); however, the carpet was nasty dirty. Overall, we would definitely stay there again!
- 1/5
Checked in at 7pm and all cruise shuttles were already full. Didn’t realize they start releasing reservations at 12pm (well before check in time). So had to arrange to take an uber to the cruise port even though the reason we booked this hotel was for the complimentary cruise port shuttle.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Ok
- 4/5
Great staff from housekeeping to restaurant and front desk. Everyone was helpful and courteous.
- 5/5
Nice stop before the cruise!!
- 5/5
Close to the cruise port and has a free shuttle to the port.
- 5/5
We stayed 1 night before our cruise and it was perfect! We had fish tacos and a couple delicious drinks while watching our football gamein their bar area! The staff was great welcoming us in! The bar tender was very very nice also! What a great start to our christmas present! Thank you doubletree!!
- 2/5
For US$250 per night, this hotel was a disappointment. Our room felt neglected—the carpet was smelly, the sink was clogged, and our complaints went unaddressed. To make matters worse, the restaurant charged a 20% service fee plus an additional gratuity.
- 3/5
The room was comfortable the bed was nice and firm. The bathroom lighting was so dim and the shower tub floor was very slippery quit dangerous.
- 3/5
Staff was uninterested….
- 5/5
Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Delayed access to our room.
- 3/5
We booked this for our one night stay, before our cruise departure. Turns out the hotel starts accepting cruise shuttle reservations well before check in time so by the time we checked in, there were no more time slots available. This resulted in us paying for an uber instead.
- 5/5
A bit outdated but clean
- 2/5
Check in process was awful! Long lines, only 2 staff working. Also the room was not ready even though we checked in after 4pm. We did have to wait about 10 minutes. The room’s closet in room 305 is for children. The bar to hang clothes is so low all the clothes touch the ground. We were not given a cookie or water or a parking pass at checking. We had to go to the front desk after we got back from our family gathering at 10pm to get the parking pass. We then asked about the cookies and water. The lady did provide them. Over all not sure we will use this property in the future.
- 1/5
The beds are terrible, it killed our backs and we only stayed for one day. Their restuarant was subpar and way over priced. Everything was extremely overpriced. They even charged for a complimentary coffee in the morning. Plus the staff was very rude to my grandson. We won't ever be going back there.
- 4/5
Comfortable stay before heading to our cruise.
- 4/5
Good sleep and shuttle to the ship, what more can you want.
- 1/5
Not the right place
- 5/5
The property was very nice.
- 1/5
Very old facility, when we come and the front desk told us all the shuttles were fully booked in the next day. All the bath tubs are clogged up. Only good point is the front desk.
- 3/5
Booking with the double tree, i have certain expectations. All of these expectations were left wanting. The bed creaked everytime my partner moved, the microwave light would not go off until the door was slammed shut, patchy repairs, closet doors not fully opening, chipped and scarred furniture...I was terribly unimpressed. Breakfast was not bad thiugh the waffle was not fresh. I usually appreciate the luxurious linens, sweet smelling body wash, and the picture of cleanliness.
- 3/5
Good location, faster check-ins, rooms were good for a night stay.
- 3/5
You need tubs like the other doubletrees
- 5/5
Staffing was great
- 5/5
This is a fantastic option if you are going on a cruise! It is s beautiful property and the staff is very accommodating.
- 4/5
Staff was great, love that we can park at the property and take a shshuttle to the cruise terminal
- 4/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Everything was perfect.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice and a good location looking at the marina, Our room was neat and clean when we returned. The wait to order our food to a bit and we didn't see free breakfast but the food we did order was good. However, we would stay again when we're there again.
- 1/5
We booked this hotel for the shuttle to the port, but upon arrival were advised that there we np shuttle seats available
- 5/5
It is a convenient and neat place near port and we spent only one night before our cruise. Their shuttle is a nice addition.
- 1/5
No water pressure in shower, front desk was very rude
- 3/5
Mandatory 20% of gratuity in a cafeteria hot dog and burger restaurant on site is ridiculous
- 4/5
Front desk ladies were warm and helpful
- 4/5
Hotel was very nice and conveniently located. Shuttles in town and to the port were perfect. Dining was not so good, poor service and breakfast was a mess
- 5/5
Didn’t eat breakfast
- 2/5
The rooms are terrible to find, very uneven floors, you allow parties with marijuana being smoked ands wet had our grandkids in our room and they had to leave doe to the very strong smell and very loud music. The floor in t son’s room is awful. I was walking over to their window to look out and I tried and hurt my wrist and bruised my other wrist and smacked my knee on the floor from falling and trying to catch my my fall It’s very uneven and has nothing to do with picking up my feet because I don’t drag them. This room or any like it should not be rented out it’s a big hazard Then you moved us to a different room that didn’t have a king bed, instead you gave us a room with two beds. We called twice for extra pillows and never received them. We are Hilton honor members and never have seen rooms this bad of shape, or service. The wall paper peeling in the room. Just over all not a great experience. I will be calling corporate. But I must say the the check in experience was wonderful. Very sweet gal helped us but spread our family all over the place. we didn’t like that.
- 5/5
Yes. Bath door stuck open, microwave not plugged in. Otherwise, excellent
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very busy expect delay even if just picking up coffee to go. Its a good place to stay when waiting for a cruise.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was clean and the shuttle to the port was awesome.
- 5/5
I recommend this hotel and will be back if opportunity arises.
- 1/5
Booked via third-party, zero refund when tried to cancel less than 24 hours from booking date, even though 1.5 months notice.
- 3/5
Room was outdated and mattress very uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Stayed one night before our cruise. Convent parking, friendly staff, and large comfortable room.
- 3/5
Safe did not work. No fridge. Dead spider on the ceiling. Coffee maker smelled funky. Wrapped clean glass had a long black hair in it. Could not check it on the TV, i got an error. Been there before probably the last time
- 5/5
Great food at the restaurant too Very nice hotel and location
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly , cookie was delicious!!!
- 5/5
Nice people
- 5/5
Quiet
- 3/5
Very friendly staff at check-in.
- 5/5
Would have appreciated a roll in shower. Spouse has mobility issues and a tub is a fall waiting to happen. Rooms are clean, but a bit dark. Bathroom especially needs a bit more light.
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Attentive staff. Spotless room. Right on the boat marina. Their shuttle drive us to the port for our cruise.
- 2/5
The room was outdated with no amenities, you have to ask for everything, answer is no to anything you ask, not even complimentary coffee, it’s coffee after all, is it really that costly to put out coffee for free . The cookies that they are famous about happens to be always out of stock. I didn’t like this hotel at all . Price was not too cheap , it’s 2 stars quality , not even 3
- 5/5
Wonderful staff. Great service especially the free shuttle to the port. Also delicious breakfast that they serve.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, friendly staff
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Wonderful staff very helpful and knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly
- 5/5
Such a great spot! Looking right at the marina. Staff was excellent!
- 5/5
Staff was quick, polite, and helpful with suggestions. Room was ready and spoiled.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Great location!!
- 5/5
Nice room, easy check in
- 5/5
The hotel staff was so friendly and the hotel was quiet the entire stay. The room was roomy and clean. One of the best stays we’ve had with fantastic views and easy access.
- 2/5
So much indoor humidity, that the floor actually made your sox & feet wet.. For the price, at least a simple continental breakfast would have been nice. But nothing but bad, in room coffee was included
- 5/5
Excelent service, great big room, delicious breakfast
- 4/5
The room was fine. I paid for a room with a view of the Marina but windows were filthy. Staff could be kinder. I was greeted with a "can I help the next person...your name" No welcome to Double Tree. Staff showed no interest or concern. No customer service spirit. It was not only front desk staff it include servers in the bar area. I like to be made to feel welcomed, I like to feel like I matter. Maybe they pick and choose who they want to be nice to.
- 5/5
i be back
- 2/5
Not only did the heater/ac not work with remote but only one accessible electrical plug (in bathroom), could not use coffee maker because plug not accessible. Plus only way to turn off bed lamps was unscrewing hot bulbs since switches were broken. Will never stay at this outdated, poorly maintained and grossly overpriced place again!
- 5/5
Great staff, Elizabeth is amazing !!!!!
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay before a cruise. Nice they have a free shuttle to the World Cruise Center. Will definitely stay there on my next trip!
- 3/5
I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends to stay close to the punk festival being held at the marina. We originally booked a 2-queen room but then we found the Jr. Suite option which was advertised to fit 4 people. I called the hotel to ask what kind of beds were in the Suite and we were told that it had a king bed and pull out sofa bed. When we checked in we found out that the room had a king bed and regular sofa. By my calculation, that only sleeps 2. I went back down to the front desk and they said that the Jr. Suite does fit 4–if you wheel in 2 cots. Why would that be advertised as sleeping 4 on a standard basis?? One of our friends didn’t even sleep at the hotel because the cot was not comfortable. This is now the 2nd time we’ve been burned by this hotel because of incorrect information advertised for their rooms. While the hotel itself is nice and it was very convenient to stay next to the festival site and have free shuttle service to the concert, I would have no other inclination to stay at this hotel in the future.
- 4/5
The location is great for those needing to be in the port, but for the tourist wishing to see Los Angeles, you need a car, nothing is within walking distance. You must also notify the front desk if you want your room cleaned because it’s not automatically cleaned. The bar and restaurant close early, so get there on time. Area is pretty and clean.
- 5/5
We were there just for one night but the front desk staff were super amazing! Made us feel welcomed!
- 2/5
Room was old and outdated, smelled like mold. The restaurant was packed with only 2 people working. We had to order take out. The morning coffee was charged at $9.00 for 2 small cups, more than Starbucks. Overall poor quality all the way around.
- 5/5
Amazing staff. If you’re looking for a place to stay the night before your cruise pick this place! They are so accommodating and professional. They shuttle you right to the port. Highly recommended
- 4/5
Stayed at the hotel before a cruise which was perfect. Appreciated the shuttle to the port. Only one restaurant within reasonable walking distance so that was disappointing. For a reasonably priced hotel, the drinks at the bar were outrageously priced. Would stay again but bring my own beers.
- 3/5
When checking in the woman was very nice we wanted to eat dinner there the restaurant . It was very understaft. I would think when you know the hotel is full you would have more help. We did have dinner but it took forever we only had wings and nachos. And most hotels that i have stayed at at laest offer free coffee. Not at your place. Well you did have a coffee pot in the room but it had to be moved to plug it in. The shuttle service was great. We wanted to eat breakfast but the line was to long and all tables were taken. At dinner we had to share menues and the happy hour menu.
- 3/5
The rooms are very dark and dreary. A renovation would help, since the property looks outdated.
- 5/5
I can’t wait to be back
- 4/5
there is no shuttle from the airport. however a good shuttle to the ship
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Location not close to anything at all. No complimentary breakfast and expensive menu.
- 5/5
Breakfast not that great
- 5/5
We didn’t have breakfast here but we saw others eating and it looked delicious. Staff was friendly and they gave us gluten free chocolate chip cookies upon arrival so that was a plus. They have complimentary shuttle to cruise port but since we checked in around 7 pm most of the shuttle slots were filled except a 1:30 pm time so we opted to take an Uber and it was $15 total for both of us including tip. Enjoyed the marina view. Relaxing stay and easy check-in/out. Will use again if sailing out of San Pedro in the future
- 4/5
Beautiful location on the marina, clean property and welcoming staff. Safe and walkable with lots of photo opportunities. Rooms a touch dated but was clean with great pillows and fantastic shower! Fresh seafood restaurant 10min walk. 35min to LAX. Will stay again.
- 4/5
The staff was excellent
- 1/5
Awful!
- 4/5
Rooms are a bit outdated
- 5/5
Everything was great! Hot tub was perfect. Some staff was grouchy but no real complaints.
- 4/5
Convenient to. Ruise ship terminal, free shuttle ride.
- 5/5
Need Tesla charging or EV charging stations
- 5/5
It was a great location to stay prior to my cruise. The staff we friendly, delivered great service
- 4/5
Friendly
- 3/5
The beds were absolutely awful broken down in the middle, both beds were the same and left me with a soar back
- 5/5
Check-in easy, best shuttle service I’ve ever seen, to and from restaurants & to cruise port! Staff polite & professional.. Room clean and well appointed. Shower amazing, beds super comfy.. highly recommended!
- 5/5
Quick, friendly, and clean
- 3/5
The hotel smelled musty. The rooms were very musty smelling.
- 4/5
Nice and ckean
- 5/5
Nice view of the harbor.
- 5/5
Always enjoy the pool when we stay here…
- 2/5
no coffee only for purchase
- 5/5
Nice and quiet
- 5/5
Close to cruise terminal.
- 3/5
I was not expecting a $25 per day for parking. This was not disclosed by Expedia.
- 5/5
No
- 5/5
Check in was easy. The room was spaciousness and clean. The work out room was nice.
- 3/5
Staff was nice
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Should have better designated smoking areas. One small bench. A lot of questionable debri next to it. On the other side of the parking lot. Unsure how safe it would be to sit there.
- 4/5
It is located at a marina and thus a lovely spot. The building is architecturally appealing but needs a little attention to detail. The area outside our room on the first floor had chairs and a table but was overgrown with plants and ground cover. We took all our meals there as we had no car. The meals were adequate but pricey. It’s a great location if you are cruising from the port nearby.
- 5/5
The hotel is very nice, quiet and safe. They also provide transportation free of charge for short distance
- 5/5
Staff
- 4/5
The hotel was very late in getting rooms ready. The “guaranteed” check-in was 4:00 pm and it wasn’t ready at 5pm. I complained and they upgraded me from a Jr Suite to a full suite.
- 2/5
The property dining experience was horrible, the bar didn't have most of the drinks on the menu and the pricey meal was gross.
- 5/5
The location of this Double Tree is perfect for our guests from out of town if the house gets to crowded. Love that they can stay local and on the marina. All of the staff are very friendly and their service is A-#1. Clean rooms and lobby. Enjoyed it all! Thanks for a great stay!
- 5/5
Clean and convenient for our weekend trip. All of the staff was friendly, polite and excellent.
- 4/5
Book your shuttle to the cruise port in advance or you may be waiting awhile especially if you have a group.
- 2/5
Not clean, and smelly.
- 4/5
They had a space for towel at the pool, But did not stock it I called about delivering towels to pool & instead they sent more to my room. They also didn’t take down the ironing board but put the iron down flat on the end table so it leaked.
- 5/5
Everyone was great and helpful food was good also
- 5/5
The view of the marina. Watching sunset and sunsets. Was there for our anniversary
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, comfortable/clean rooms, nice pool and hot tub. The thing that stands out the most though is the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, helpful, and it just made the stay that much better!
- 4/5
Close to the cruise ship and in walking distance
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Staff is always kind and the rooms are always very clean
- 5/5
Really nice hotel, clean
- 4/5
Relaxing environment from trip abroad to rest before next day cruising, nearby. just 2 restaurants for all meals but, both very good. Luxurious room and amenities (pool, hottub, fitness centre) all work
- 2/5
A rather run down property....
- 5/5
Very nice. Very comfortable and clean.
- 4/5
Love being next to Marina and being able to see out to sea!
- 3/5
Bad bed
- 5/5
Very nice staff
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
NA
- 4/5
Very quiet. Nice big TV. Next to a marina with a nice breeze.
- 5/5
NICE STAY SUPER COMFY
- 5/5
Stay here for a family event. Everything was good.
- 5/5
Felt safe, comfortable and quite!
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, we had a great check in experience with Elizabeth at the front desk, she was very professional and polite. The room was amazing, very comfortable and clean. Will definitely consider to come back.
- 1/5
Room is super dirty for being a Hilton hotel . The fridge is all disgusting. You guys allow to smoke in the pool area where kids are at . Raccoons running around in the pool area . Dirty hall ways . No option for late check out
- 3/5
The staff was great, but the room was well worn. The doom we stayed in had burned out lights, the TV remote didn’t work and the faucet was so tight (and crooked) that it was difficult to turn on.

The hotel is nice, but they don’t have a coffee station for early risers. There is no complementary breakfast and some of the prices they charge for dinner in the restaurant are a little extreme.

Would definitely stay again

The room was filthy! Could barely see out windows, carpet gross, lights didn’t work, pool in parking lot, no room service, disappointing beyond belief!

Beautiful place

Hotel was accommodating for most inconveniences.

This property was awful - there was a cockroach in our bathroom as soon as we arrived. The wallpaper was falling off the walls and the baseboards looked like they had never been wiped down before. The room was dirty and gross. The breakfast was a mess- we needed to wait in line for over an hour to be seated and then they still ended up charging my card even though I had purchased breakfast included in my room.

We were only staying the night before we took a cruise so we weren’t looking for too much. The bar lobby, which was also the restaurant was pretty good for happy hour. Dinner was not good would not eat there again but they had some good margaritas. They didn’t have a nice shuttle that took us to the cruise terminal so it was very convenient.

I am definitely staying here again

Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were so friendly and very helpful.

This hotel was filthy. I stayed here the week before this reservation. I tried to cancel this reservation because of my recent experience and was told no refund. This hotel needs to be cleaned. I took the financial hit and stayed somewhere else.

We enjoyed walking near the marina. There was lots to look at and the service was good.
- 5/5
It's a great place to stay away from the downtown area, yet close to the beaches and Port.

Very nice hotel

However a light in the kitchenette would have been useful, I had to move a lamp in there to see at night. The sofa was dirty and the carpet was really dirty, the bottom of my feet turned black after I showered and walked on it.

4 substantial pillows on our king bed 2 luggage racks (first time I've ever seen that) bathroom light dimmed for a night light

The best part was the front desk employee Marcus who was so helpful! Very friendly and accommodating.

Close to cruise port!

My pillow had hair on it. I wasn't informed that there was no fridge or microwave. I had purchase food while waiting for my room, and my food spoiled. The hotel was expensive, and didn't offer even a continental breakfast. Flies were flying all around. I would never stay hete again

Solid stay

Convenient for our cruise with the free shuttle bus service

Close to the port. Smells horrible in the lobby. Will not check in early but will be sure to have maids knocking at your door an hour before checkout trying to push you out. Beds very uncomfortable. Plus was hot shower.

The property was conveniently located near the harbor which was great for our weekend plans. However, there were only two bath towels provided for four guests. After two phone calls to the front desk and a two hour wait, it took a personal visit to the desk to get more towels. And on a housekeeping note, our room was NEVER serviced at all during our three night stay. Yes, we were at the end of a very long hall, but not impressed with the level of service. Also the breakfast buffet was seriously overpriced so we opted for a local delicious diner instead. It met our needs but I'd honestly expected more for the price and reputation.

Absolutely wonderful and we were happy with every part of our stay.

Male staff ( front desk was not friendly). WiFi for guest ( overnight stay) can’t connect. Bed was kindly loud.

Alright expected more bring by the marina

I was an hour and a half early to check in. I asked if there were any rooms available and Emerson was able to get one for me 45 minutes before check in time. He went above and beyond and I’m grateful for that.

Right on the Mariana. Very quiet but secluded. The restaurant is ok but without wheels, you won’t be able to experience the great dining in the area. The staff is outstanding and offer a shuttle to the cruise ports nearby. I would stay here again.

Convenient!

We loved our room and the view of the marina. We did not like paying to park in the lot.

Great hotel, great bar and restaurant, great transportation options to cruise port
- 5/5
Very friendly staff easy check in easy check out

Property was decent and clean, but we had several questions because we were there the night before our cruise. We were told $30 for the shuttle, then it was $50 and MAYBE we can pick you up when the cruise comes in to port in Long Beach. We didn’t even get cookies, lol.
- 3/5
The rooms are outdated which made it feel dirty. Our mini fridge was placed on the floor. Not on a table or a nice cabinet. Hotel needs to be refreshed. We ate in the restaurant and the food was mediocre. Mashed potato description was not what received. I received some instant potatoes with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. For 2 people 20% gratuities was added to the bill.

Nice place

There were many people waiting downstairs with their luggage because the rooms were not ready. It was 3-4 pm but cmon?!!!! No open bar and no place to sit.

I enjoyed San Pedro just the same while here. It was nice. Being away will be tuff

Had a wonderful stay.. Rooms are nice, staff is friendly. The surrounding area is beautiful and it is close to the cruise terminal. Five stars

The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond getting us settled in. The property is amazing, the view does not disappoint. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, this is the pick!

Everything

Loved it there night before cruise. Ask about the local shuttle. They took us downtown for dinner and picked us back up. Would have been 40$ RT via uber
- 5/5
It’s close to everything when I go to San Pedro.
- 4/5
Good hotel for one night stop before joining a cruise. The property itself he’s looking a little bit tired and the white staff in the restaurant were not the most welcoming but the lady bartender more than made up for this as she was upbeat and very very welcoming. The free shuttle to the Cruise part is the big bonus with this hotel as when you check in you just book your time for the following day wait in reception they call your name and you’re delivered to the port in record time.
