Quick night stay before a cruise. Room was clean and our family of four had more than enough space. The person working the desk gave great information about the area, this really helped us take advantage of the one day we had. Will be staying with them again in the future.

Only thing good about this place was free parking. We weren't able to shower the smell coming from the air conditioner was horrible, the comforter was as thin as a sheet and stink. To top it off we were awaken at 2:15am to a biligerent man banging on the room door and window next door to us. Had it not been so late when we returned from our event we would have went somewhere else. I don't recommend this place to anyone!!

Room was very nice! Front desk was extremely nice and helpful! He offered different things to do if we wanted anything fun before our cruise. Was super convenient and close to cruise port. We got there right around check in time so we had a spot right in front of our door to park.

Will definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Nice little motel near the cruise ports which is its main reason we stayed there. The hotel staff are very very helpful and accomadating. They will let you into the room earlier if the roomed has been clearned and avaiable which is nice. There are only stairs and 2 floors no elevator like a motel. Basic but very nice and clean rooms. Nice tc and bathroom with shampoo, gel, conditioner etc. The motel is very close to a nice grocery store and a short walk to several restaurants. The nice thing it is also close to a free trolley that goes around the entire area of San Pedro and runs very near the hotel and it will take your down to many sighting seeing areas and the port very nice. This motel is highly recommended

Sam at The Guest Harbor Inn is awesome! He offered to book a taxi for us the next day to get to the pier. He followed up for us in the morning and learned that the taxi is delayed. So he ordered an uber for us and got there quickly. It was a very pleasant stay and will definitely go back the next time we are there!

Clean room and property.
- 5/5
Very clean room, working air conditioner and quiet area. Several area places do delivery for food and beverages.
- 3/5
Check in through a heavily tinted window, standing outside of the building. The room had strong pungent of cleaning product that caused headaches. The staff was helpful. The property is about 25 minutes of walk to cruise terminal.

This was such a cool motel compared to the grot bag one we stayed at b4 our cruise in san pedro. My heart jumped for joy when we opened the door. HUGE room. LOVELY BIG SHOWER, and TOLIETRIES . fridge. Microwave, and coffee maker. And a grocer shop a short walk up the road. Excellent.

The three brothers Indian food truck in the parking lot is delicious. One of the guys delivered our three separate orders to our three rooms.
- 4/5
Older building. Clean room, renovated bathroom, close to port, but no lobby
- 4/5
Ok
- 3/5
The staff was very accommodating and having the food truck to get something to eat was convenient. The bed was harder, creaked loudly, and needed blankets. (The bed was a sheet and a very thin ...can't call it a comforter) No phone and you have to unplug the coffee pot to use the microwave.

Anything is okay
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay, we only were there to sleep somewhere before heading off to the cruise port the next day. I forgot the guy’s name who was in the office but he made our stay there excellent. We were headed for our first cruise ever and he gave us tips/advice and even places to eat around there while also handing us a 20% off flyer for Kalaveras restaurant and we got money off our total when we went there!! We will definitely be back again!! And next time I’ll try to catch the guy’s name lol.
- 5/5
Room was very clean! Will stay here again. Front office was amazing the gentleman was extremely helpful in everything. Got us checked in early and told us a few sites to see around town. He was amazing and helpful!! Love this place and was well priced.
- 5/5
The manager was helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

- 5/5
Wonderful helpful staff. Room very clean and comfortable. Good restaurant recommendation.
- 5/5
Great location. Close to the cruise Ship Port. Very helpful staff. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
- 4/5
One night stay. It was a bit noisy with traffic, but the room was clean and the bed was good.
- 5/5
It was a nice place. Everything we want to go was walking distance.
- 4/5
Sam was fantastic. Great recommendations and always helpful. Room was clean and bathroom was bright and spacious. This is very much a don't judge a book by its cover. Beware if you are a light sleeper, try to get a second floor room. We were on the ground floor and it sounded like elephants were staying above us. We heard every time they walked across the floor and we were up at 8 when they decided to start rolling their suitcases across the floor.
- 5/5
I just have to say, the young man that works at this hotel is exceptionally nice. Very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable; I forgot to ask his name. He checked me in with such efficient, told me about restaurants in the area, helped with my luggage and I just enjoyed talking with him. The property is well maintained, in a safe and quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants around within walking distance. The room was well maintained, recently renovated and bright and comfortable. Would stay here again and recommend it. Perfect location for the day before your cruise stay.
- 4/5
Convenient location for getting on a cruise. Harbor is walkable and plenty of restaurants around. It’s an older property but it has been updated. Clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Stayed a couple nights before a cruise. Hotel was pretty nice for the cost. It was clean and spacious. Only downfall to the room was no night table lamp so if you are a reader, bring a book lamp. Within walking to restaurants and port. Some shady area near hotel when walking but we did not have any problems
- 4/5
Very good
- 2/5
The room was a big. The Deadbolt was missing. It was a Motel style place. I did not feel safe without the deadbolt. Check in was talking through a space beneath the dark pained window. I was not expecting to stay in a "carry your bags up the stairs style motel".
- 5/5
Perfect for a one night stay before a cruise. Within walking distance to the port. Easy walk to pizza and ice cream!

- 3.5/5
Location.
- 4/5
No bells and whistles, but it was a clean room for a low cost.
- 4/5
Good area. Safe to walk and close to lots of restaurants. Rooms are older - nothing fancy but clean and a reasonable price. Good option for night before cruise departure. Easy 15 minute walk to board cruise ship.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. Nothing fancy, but it was a nice place to stay before leaving on a cruise the following day. It's close enough to walk downtown for food and drinks. Would definitely stay again...
- 5/5
It’s three star and coastal. And an amazing Indian food truck in the parking lot. Quiet for the location. You know you are in a little city. Lots of good food options walkable and public transportation is right there. Walkable to the cruise port.
- 5/5
This little Inn is a hidden treasure. Outside does not look appealing but the inside in clean and spacious. The staff was great and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice clean room wth great host
- 4/5
Parking was easy! Room was clean. The lights flickered which was annoying.
- 3/5
The room was ok. The bathroom was a little dirty and the sink didn't drown well. The staff person was super helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Great hotel for staying pre/post cruise. Very clean with very friendly staff. Easy walking distance to some great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Stayed at the Crown Plaza the week before and this hotel is MUCH nicer.
- 4/5
Clean well maintained super nice staff!
- 2/5
We entered our room welcomed by a sour stench. It was warm, but did come with an AC units that blew more not appealing smells. We were woken up by loud knocks on our door that continued to go in spurts for about 5-10 mins. It was 9:30pm Cali time but 11:30pm from our home town that we just flew in from. We were scared and had no peep hole to check who was at our door and why they weren’t going away. We called the front desk and the guy was nice saying he saw the man on the cameras and came to see what the guy at our door wanted. Still pretty sketch and then took us awhile to finally trust to go back to sleep. The room was very dusty and parts are updated. There was an iron provided which was nice. The large bed only had one bedside table and one plug in on the one side instead of on both sides. The floor made my feet black from walking barefoot. There is a mini fridge and microwave that appeared dirty and outdated. The bathroom was supplied with Dove products, which was nice. Tv/cable provided as well as WiFi. Close to many food options in walking distance. Most likely will pay the extra next time to stay elsewhere for cleanliness and security.

- 5/5
Very clean, staff very friendly, bed is comfortable!
- 5/5
Cl ean and comfortable. Owner was very accommodating and friendly.
- 5/5
Stayed here overnight before my cruise. I read the reviews before I booked and I took a chance because the reviews were so good! There is no lobby so you check in from a little window outside. It was different but it was fine! Check in was smooth! The room offer everything that was needed!! It was clean cute cozy and convenient! The cruise port is close I met a couple that chose to walk to the port from the motel! I chose a cab! If you let the front desk know you need transportation to the port Sam will set you up with his cab driver for $11. That was worth it to me because I wasn’t stomping up and down no cobbled streets with my luggage! Speaking of Sam he was very nice a friendly to me and because I’m just a girl and my room was on the second level he had no problem helping me with my bags! If I ever cruise out of San Pedro again I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but here! As far as food you won’t have a problem finding good food in walking distance! All the great things ppl have said about their stay is true! So book here with confidence…
- 4/5
Overall a good place to stay.
- 5/5
Clean room, bag storage before check in time
- 5/5
Room was very clean, staff extremely helpful. Close enough to cruise port to walk
- 5/5
The staff was very courteous and helpful. This is the third time we've stay
- 5/5
This is a wonderful "no frills" hotel in San Pedro. The Uber ride to the cruise port is $9.00 or you can walk to it. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the room was very spacious and spotless. At check in, it was suggested that we eat at the San Pedro Cafe, a few blocks away and our dinner was so delicious that we ate there again for breakfast before getting on our cruise ship. We would stay here again if cruising out of the Port of Los Angeles, San Pedro.
- 5/5
Our stay at Guest Harbor Inn was great! Clean rooms, easy check in, and the staff were fantastic! Staff gave great suggestions for local places to eat and get coffee. Easy to walk to many locations, including the cruise port. Will definitely stay again when visiting San Pedro.
- 5/5
Large, clean room with friendly staff.
- 5/5
The room was spotless. The staff was very nice. It was quiet and there was a coffee maker with coffee and a fridge. There was a really cute area with places to eat, shopping, art stores within a very short walk. It was very nice place to stay especially for the price.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms. Close to the cruise port.
- 5/5
Very clean room. Nicer than expected! Would stay here again. We walked to the cruise terminal.
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you are going on a cruise. The Inn is located near many food outlets. Their brochure did not list a Chinese food place but there is one within a block of the Inn. You can also leave your car there for 10 a day, with an 11.00 can ride to the cruise ship. The people in charge of the inn are very helpful. The rooms are recently renovated. They were pretty clean and spacious.
- 4/5
Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about local events
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The service was phenomenal. They legitimately care about their guests and unfortunately, that's rare nowadays. They've earned my loyalty and when i return, I'm happy to stay with them yet again.
- 4/5
Very nice and helpful staff. Especially Sam. Thanks. Just stayed one night. Would stay again. Close to the restaurants and boardwalk area.
- 4/5
The room was great! The staff was very helpful. The neighborhood was ok.
- 5/5
This hotel was perfect for a one night stay before our cruise. I would also stay longer! It was very clean and the workers were all so friendly. The guy checked us in also offered to help us find some places to eat. We realized we left something in the room and they held onto it for us until we returned. Super nice people, will definitely make this our stop before cruising. It’s also close enough if you want to walk to the port, which we did.
- 5/5
Always a great stay. Room has all the necessities for a quick overnight stay.
- 3/5
Room was clean, nothing special but served the purpose.
- 5/5
This is our second stay during this year.Nice place, excellent service, clos to cruises port, clean and cozy rooms
- 1/5
One poor lady doing all the cleaning. Many waiting in foyer not knowing if they would get a room. In am, they had coffee but no cups "people just use them"...??? Finally went to look and found cups gave me one and kept the rest at the desk. Another guest had to search for her to get a cup.
- 4/5
Very clean room and a 15 minute walk to the cruise port. Several restaurants near by and a grocery Mart a half block away
- 2/5
Just simple hotel north

- 5/5
Everyone I talked to was pleasant and professional
- 5/5
Rooms were super clean and recently renovated
- 4/5
Nice, clean, upgraded room. However, this motel doesn't have an elevator but the owner was very kind and helped me with my bag. I am an elderly lady, traveling solo, and dining opportunities around the area after 8 p.m. were hard to find. The area around the hotel is not wonderful.
- 5/5
Great place for a pre cruise stay.
- 4/5
Please fix the pressure of the shower faucet. Too week. Not enough water comes out.
- 5/5
I would recommend this motel for the budget minded cruiser. It is clean and sufficient for our needs. Staff were super helpful and nice and friendly. Check in was easy. There are plenty of restaurants nearby within an easy walk. Not too far to walk to the harbor. The motel staff can order a car or van to shuttle you to the terminal for $11 per vehicle. The rooms are a bit outdated, but a great price for LA, and was clean and comfy. Room had a fridge and microwave and coffee maker. The free drink was a zero alcohol Heineken, so, bring your own alcohol if you need it. There is a grocery nearby with cold beer. Plenty of liquor stores around, too.
- 5/5
Great location near the cruise port. Clean, comfortable rooms. Lots of stuff within walking distance. We would stay here again.
- 4/5
Great customer service! Super friendly family run motel!! Don’t be off put by first appearances .
- 5/5
This was a great place to stay, for the night before a cruise, very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location to the cruise port.
- 3/5
Too noisy and annoying blue light spilling in the room from the lights they use outside.
- 5/5
The greatest shower. Good sized room. Good staff. Convenient to walking to the harbor.
- 5/5
Great check in, super friendly staff
- 5/5
Wonderful room at a good price. This was a great place to stay the night before a cruise
- 4/5
Clean descent room. Good for an overnight stay to catch your ship on cruise day.
- 5/5
We stayed at this hotel before and love it ..the owner and family are wonderful..the room is always clean and there are great restaurants around it
- 5/5
The street was a bit noisy and dirty( not the hotels fault). I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Got us into our room sooner than check in time
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff are wonderful. Doesn't look like much but with the ability to leave our car there while we cruised (for a small fee) and the service it was totally worth staying there. Thank you for making our vacation excellent.
- 5/5
Good for a night stay, front desk was very helpful with city information
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the Port of LA was very close.
- 4/5
We had the 3 bed in a room was clean, staff was accommodating and gave us options to eat at.
- 4/5
Loved the location and cleanliness.
- 3/5
Dated units, noisy AC. Good basis accommodations close to cruise terminal.
- 5/5
Good motel in mediocre neighborhood.
- 3/5
This appears to be a family owned motel since the managers live onsite. The room I received was not in good shape. I felt like I was at a Motel 6. The in-room heater only went to 69 degrees, so I slept in a cold room. The staff is super friendly, but this place doesn't deserve the high ratings it has received. I did view other rooms at the motel when I checked out and they were much nicer than mine, I think I was placed in the worst room the motel offers. The bathroom was nice, but the rest of the room was terrible.
- 5/5
I reserved the room in advance also as a place to park my vehicle during a cruise, Sam was more than accommodating and gave me a place to Park and oversized vehicle, the room is very nice and clean with plenty of restaurants within walking distance as is the cruise port. I highly recommend
- 5/5
A very cool little
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable woke up without a backache
- 5/5
The hotel was really dated but really nice, and warm. Next time I take a cruise, I will only stay here.
- 5/5
The person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. We asked to store bags and be downstairs so we didn't have to carry luggage and he obliged.
- 3/5
Clean, simple overnight room. No telephone.
- 4/5
It was a good 1 night stay before a cruise.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Staff was very courteous . Room was clean but lacked a closet or coat rack to hang up any clothes. Hooks on bathroom door fell off when I hang my towel on it.
- 4/5
Clean room, great staff. One night stay to go on cruise. I would stay with them again. We did go out at night to eat, but I probably wouldn’t advise it. During the day it was fine.
- 5/5
The shower had the best pressure for hot water! The hotel is minutes from the ocean! We will be back for the service we received at this hotel by Sam!
- 4/5
Everything was good, but the pillows were much too hard and high.
- 2/5
I don't know why this hotel has great reviews. It's acceptable at best. The AC unit is so loud and rattling you can't hear anything but that. The bed is horribly uncomfortable so good luck getting any sleep either way.
- 4/5
Place was good for a pre-cruise stay-over. Very clean, but the pillow was like a log and the area was a bit dicey after dark. Over-all good value for a one night stay.
- 4/5
nice room. very loud from upstairs room.
- 5/5
The owners of the motel are fantastic very helpful great customer service. This motel was great for a one or two night stay before your cruise. Area looks scary but we walk around for looking places to go. People walking on the street said hello at no time did anyone ask for money or food. Very safe walking around. Many restaurants and Starbucks very close by. I would stay here all the time while taking a cruise from San Pedro,ca. it was pouring down rain and the owners gave us umbrellas to use. Sam their son was a pleasure to talk to. Thank you to the owners again for great customer service.
- 3/5
Guys, there is $25 fee for early check in... evenif the room is already ready.
- 5/5
The room was clean and updated. The employee checking us in was friendly and helped us find a place to eat dinner. Super nice.
- 5/5
Great stay for taking a cruise. Basic room. Nothing fancy but got the job done. Staff was nice.
- 5/5
This room was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the staff were very nice when checking in and out! We had kids with us and loved the fact our TV had Disney +. We would for sure stay here in the future!
- 5/5
Easy to get to using public bus & walkable location to cruise port. Also only one block from my favorite restaurant in San Pedro!
- 5/5
Perfect for a one night stay before the cruise . Starbucks close and small grocery store close.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean and close to our cruise ship departing port!
- 3/5
No Lobby, no place outside to relax. We were early just getting off a ship so that was very inconvenient. They did store our luggage for us. The staff was friendly and tried their best to accommodate us.
- 5/5
Very clean. Good location for walking to restaurants

Only stayed one night but everything was great. Let us drop our bags off early while we walked around LA. There’s a few places to eat around there. This place is also really close to the port. Overall, a pretty nice spot to stay.

Everything was great.

Room was comfortable and fine for a one night stay. Would be great if they added some bedside lamps.

Big leak in the ceiling but decent location.
- 5/5
Everything has been excellent with our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived one day early prior to boarding our cruise. The property is quaint, clean, cozy and had an awesome walk in shower. The gent at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, providing dining suggestions which were walkable and booking us a taxi for the next morning. Highly recommend this location.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless…unfortunately - you have to walk several blocks to find dinning and during daylight that’s fine but once it starts getting dark the area is somewhat sketchy
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable.located good for sightseeing but on a noisy busy street. Quiet for sleeping from 10 until 7. Close to cruise terminal and waterfront.
- 5/5
Staff was pleasant, property was clean and fresh. Wi-Fi was strong and quick.
- 5/5
Parking was easy and secure

Parking was easy and safe

Parking was great!

Hotel needed updates to facilities. Room was dirty, floors needed a good cleaning. AC wasn't sufficient for the space and didn't reach into the second bedroom, requiring either an open window (opening up to neighborhood noise) or leaving the door open (negating the benefit of having the second bedroom. Stayed in the hotel prior to a cruise and checked out as soon as possible.
- 5/5
Was worried about parking, but on a Saturday night it wasn’t an issue. Lots of restaurants nearby. It’s an older hotel but they’ve done about as well as you can do with it. The male owner/manager was amazing. Gave us great insights on the area & things to do. Super nice guy! Gave me three bottles of waters cause the vending machine was down.

Vey clean friendly service and convenient location

Didn’t use a/c
- 4/5
Stayed the night before our cruise. Noting great but not bad either.
- 4/5
Overall we were pleased with our stay at this hotel. We got a room with 3 beds and it fit our group of 5 very well. The room was clean and neat. The beds were a little hard but for one night it was nice.
- 3/5
Uncomfortable beds and bedding. Dirty floors and dirty everything. Just because you update something, doesn't mean you don't have to clean it. Very thin walls, so very noisy.
- 5/5
Great location lots to walk around and see in San Pedro.
- 3/5
Mosey and sketchy area
- 5/5
Nice little inn, in a great location to dining and entertainment. We stayed the weekend for a festival and this place was perfect. Room was clean and quiet. The room had everything we needed!

- 5/5
Check in was great. The staff were very welcoming and provided helpful information on the surrounding area. Was even able to get a room ready early which was much appreciated

A older property that has had some minor upgrades. Standard 2-3 star property, as expected.
- 5/5
Great location for grocery shops and restaurants. Wi-Fi is working great
- 5/5
It was reasonably priced. Clean and friendly.
- 5/5
This was the first time staying here. We were in a day before our cruise. The reviews are what made the decision for our stay. The staff there are amazing! We had 2 rooms and they were very clean. Nice pillows and bed. We walked to Whale and Ale for dinner. Many choices to eat in walking distance. We definitely would stay here again.
- 5/5
Older hotel but very clean and very impressed with updated roomy shower. Customer service was excellent secured luggage due to early arrival, suggested food options. Walkable area was very quiet during week. Air conditioner was very loud so had to constantly adjust tv volume.
- 4/5
The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and to the cruise port. The person in charge is very nice and helpful. The bed and room was very comfortable. It is an older building, but it is well maintained.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for a night before a cruise.
- 5/5
These people could not be more helpful. Great service, super clean room that had been completely renovated. Sam offered suggestions as to site seeing without being ask and took my luggage up stairs for me without being ask! Suggested a cafe for lunch which was within walking distance that was great. Offered to call taxi the morning of my cruise with a price that was the same as Uber.
- 4/5
Clean and convenient

- 5/5
Great place to sleep and nice staff.
- 4/5
Convenient for the areas attractions.
- 4/5
Basically like a motel 6. Rooms are clean with vinyl flooring. Room was quiet. Homeless and drug users roaming the neighborhood streets. It’s alright for a pre cruise 1 night stay.
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious!
- 3/5
OK TO STAY BUT I WISH THEY FIX IT UP IT IS IN NICE AREA AND SAFE AND COLSE TO HARBOR BUT IT NEED TO FIXUP

- 5/5
This is a reasonable hotel close to cruise dock. Nothing fancy but adequate.
- 5/5
Stayed here one night before our cruise left. It was a great stay and convenient to the port next day.
- 5/5
My second two go spot to be at like seriously
- 4/5
Dark mirror at the reception is extremely weird.
- 4/5
Great place before crusing.
- 4/5
It was pleasant enough for a night stay before a cruise, I would stay here again
- 5/5
Excellent. Friendly staff, cool area and location. Air conditioner a bit loud, but works well. Spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved my stay!
- 5/5
Nice convenient spot to stay before taking off on a cruise. Clean friendly with good eating options nearby.
- 5/5
This motel is SOOOO nice! Someone really took their time in putting in small details that make a stay very nice. The rooms were clean, the staff was accommodating and kind, and the area felt safe and quiet:
- 5/5
Parking was a little rough, but the staff member allowed us to park behind his truck for the night which was super nice of him to do. Rooms were clean, property was quiet. Would definitely stay again, if needed.
- 5/5
This hotel is not fancy, but it was perfect for a one night stay before our cruise. It looks a little rough as you come to it but our room was clean and comfortable and had been updated. The bed was comfortable. The person who checked us in was super helpful and suggested places to eat and explore. We did take public transportation (J line) and then walked about 50 feet to the hotel. And the cruise terminal is about 1 mile (mostly downhill) and easily walkable as well.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful with checking in early and holding our luggage while we explored San Pedro. They were also helpful with booking us a cab to the port. Room was clean and fresh towels were provided.
- 4/5
Great price and location. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, very convenient to eatery and shops!
- 3/5
Check in was not great we couldn’t even see the person talking to us.
- 5/5
Excellent Service, well taken care off. Owner provided us with information of the area. Very clean and well maintained. Will come back!
- 5/5

- 5/5
It’s a good place
- 5/5
Check in was very easy and they gave lots of suggestions for resteraunts nearby within walking distance. The room was updated and clean. Perfect for our night before the cruise.
- 1/5
Bad neighborhood
- 1/5
Place was gross. They had roaches. Very unclean.
- 5/5
The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and friendly. It was a quiet location but still close to a lot of restaurants and shops.
- 5/5
The rooms were spotless and the shower had good pressure. Close to the pier and eateries.
- 5/5
Perfect pre cruise location.
- 2/5
The property and our room were clean, which I appreciated. However, the pillows on the bed were very flat, and the bed linens were quite minimal. Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep well because of that. The condition of the bed was unexpected, but since I was only staying for one night, I didn’t bring it up with the staff.
- 5/5
The Guest Harbor Inn has everything you need. Don't expect frills and excess. It has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, TV and a comfy bed. It is clean and tidy. The person who checked us in was very accommodating. He even showed up at our door with a special gift due to our silver status with expedia. We will stay here again.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
All good
- 1/5
This is not a place I would ever want to stay again. It’s not family friendly, no elevator, the property smells or urine and Indian curry. It’s located in the middle of the ghetto and there is drugs and prostitution around the corner.
- 4/5
Front desk was very helpful!
- 4/5
Clean room and felt safe. Coffee machine didn’t work
- 5/5
Very spacious and perfect if you’re traveling to the Long Beach port!
- 5/5
Easy to check in
- 5/5
The room was nice, clean and look newly remodeled. There was several options for restaurants within the calling distant.
- 4/5
This was a nice motel that is older but they’ve updated it a bit. Would stay here again before a cruise.
- 4/5
It was ok for the amount, the bed needs to be changed though, the middle is sagging. The tub needs a plug to keep the water if you want to use the tub
- 5/5
It was a nice space. Room was very spacious. Service was great.
- 5/5
Family owned and operated. They referred us to a near by restaurant and kept our luggage in their office since we were early for check-in. Very nice staff!
- 4/5
Very clean very pleasant very helpful staff the area is a little sketchy though. You certainly wouldn’t wanna be walking around at night.
- 3/5
Liked that it was close to the cruise terminal and reasonably priced. Not the best area nor a very nice place but for one night OK. There was a biker bar 1/2 block away and when they raced their engine it was very loud. Nice owners on property.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent. Room very clean. Would stay again.
- 3/5
BUT, as I dropping my stuff away from second floor to my car downstairs; an older woman (assuming management) asked if I check out, i said yes. Then she said “give me the key” I replied “I’m not done yet” And it’s 9am which I still have my stay until 11am. I walked away to get my stuff upstairs she said again “give me the keys” Then I said “I’m not done yet! Am I being kick out?!” I walked away to finish then left. That was rude and unnecessary!! And I went to office to tell the front desk and an older guy same thing; “drop the key there “ I was gonna give 4 star but I’m leaving 1 star because of her and the older guy at front desk. They’re RUDE and will it recommend this place because of their SUPER LACK customer service !!
- 5/5
Convenient .Very close to cruise yard. Super friendly stuff
- 5/5
Older property but nicely remodeled and upgraded. A great spot near the LA cruise terminal.
- 5/5
Excellent front desk. Super helpful with dinner and transportation recommendations. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Quiet. Great stay for the night before our cruise. We would stay again!
- 2/5
Do not book here if you care about quality. The photos greatly exaggeration the quality.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our time here. The staff was great and very helpful.
- 5/5
My husband and I could not fault the check in procedure and the property. The room was spacious and clean. The area is a little dated, with lots of homeless but in saying that we never felt unsafe and we did not get bothered by any people. The transport system was very good and very cheap. Be adventurous and try it don’t always listen to people who want to scare you but just be aware of your surroundings. Would definitely go back next year.
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay if catching a cruise the next day. Lots of restaurants nearby
- 3/5
We stayed here for one night because we were going on a cruise the next day. The area seemed to me to be a little questionable. I asked our taxi driver did he live in the neighborhood and he was emphatic about saying no, I live in Long Beach! The room was nothing special it suited the purpose for a one night's stay. The bed in the room was solid foam that didn't give, so it made for restless sleep. If you're staying longer than 2 days absolutely not. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and was checking out the next morning so it's Suited our needs. The rooms really do need a makeover. But in defense of the hotel they have their niche customers. People come in for one day and check out the next. I'm sure it's pretty good for the hotel where they don't need to modernize their rooms.
- 4/5
The room was quite spacious and it was generally close to a few restaurants (especially for lunch / breakfast). I stayed there overnight for a cruise the next day and I had a restful night there.
- 5/5
This hotel is small and dated on the outside, BUT, the rooms were clean and updated. Sam, the manager, couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. He gave us tips on things to do abd a great place within walking distance to eat.it was more than satisfactory for our overnight stay before we cruised out of Long Beach.
- 5/5
Bed was a bit high for 2 old folks to manuever.
- 4/5
I enjoyed the stay. Nice scenic area
- 5/5
Customer service was amazing. Very friendly would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Property looks rundown from the outside but the rooms were renovated very well. Staff were helpful and felt safe. Beds were comfortable and spacious rooms. AC worked well. Big plus for Microwave and Refrigerator. We would stay here again for future trips. There’s a grocery store right across the street. Neighborhood is relatively quiet and safe.
- 5/5
Sam and his family were very nice and great room
- 5/5
Helped with dining optins
- 5/5
Only thing no pool,
- 4/5
The staff were amazing. Very helpful and very kind. They are trying to spruce up some rooms but they have more work to do. Our shower was terrible. Absolutely no water pressure at all. The curtains don't close all the way so you get blinded with light while you're sleeping.
- 5/5
Very nice at reception. Kept our bags after checking out.
- 2/5
I was traveling to Long Beach and this was a convenient location to stay at. Only about 15 minutes from Downtown LB. Office staff was friendly and the room was clean, but it certainly could use a modern renovation. Only one light switch in the room with no shelfs. One desk and chair. One bed. Bathroom was well maintained. Overall experience is a 2/5, would have been a 3/5 if the bed was more comfortable.
- 5/5
Owner was very helpful and very friendly. Property is old but seems to be well kept and very clean.
- 5/5
James was really nice. Small fee for early check.
- 4/5
The floor & tiles are newly renovated & well kept. Nice & quiet area.
- 5/5
The room looks like it was newly updated. AC works great. Quiet street. The bed is really comfortable. The room is very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Not fancy, but we felt safe, was clean, management was helpful. Good value and very convenient to Avalon ferry and cruise ships.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Very helpfull
- 4/5
Rooms are recently renovated and in really nice shape. Exterior of the hotel is tired.
- 5/5
This is the perfect place to stay before a cruise. Clean and comfy, but not elaborate. We enjoyed walking 5th, 6th and 7th streets and found a couple of excellent restaurants nearby. Sam, the owner is extremely friendly and a wealth of info if you’re looking for it. We felt safe walking from dawn to dusk and would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Kind of an older property that has been updated, only draw back is no lobby so everything is done thru a window, very friendly and helpful staff. Near San Pedro cruise port
- 5/5
This place is a little hidden gem! We needed a hotel for 1 night before our cruise and this was it! Very well maintained, rooms have recently been renovated and are like new, including the washrooms. 2 double beds, fridge, microwave and a new Keurig coffee maker in the room. Bed are very comfortable and mattresses are new, same as pillows. Parking lot is freshly painted, outside area is nicely decorated. Front desk staff is very professional and friendly. Beyond helpful as we arrived and needed to go eat something. He gave us a map of Downtown San Pedro which is within walking distance, many families were out there with kids and dogs. Seemed safe. There is a grocery store around the corner too and a pharmacy (RiteAid) within 8 min walking. I do recommend this place and would come back!!
- 5/5
Room clean and comfortable. Lots of food options in the walkable area. Super friendly staff at checkin.
- 4/5
Basic accommodations, but a comfortable stay in old San Pedro. A block down is San Pedro Cafe, a dynamite place for breakfast.
