The Mission Inn is a clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and a convenient location. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and good continental breakfast. However, some guests have complained about traffic noise from Mission Street and thin walls.

Great place to stay and beds divine!

Very chill hotel. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Will stay here next time I’m in town.
- 5/5
Well maintained
- 4/5
The inn and rooms were clean, but can use some new paint or renovation as it looked overall old. The winner is the free breakfast particularly the waffles! The waffles and syrup were beyond expectation LOL. Rebecca at the front desk was helpful and the fact that there's an actual human being 24/7 was reassuring. Overall I would recommend this place.

Clean room. Convenient location.
- 4/5
Good size room with a comfortable queen bed. Didn't need the AC because you can open the window and let that cool Santa Cruz air in.

Location and Staff

Forgot some reading glasses in hotel room staff called me

Parking was tight
- 5/5
It was a standard motel, parking available around it, and central to a lot of things in the area.
- 1/5
Was clean The small, uncomfortable bed offered little rest, and the absence of an elevator compounded the challenges I faced as an older adult. I had to carry my heavy luggage up several flights of stairs, which was inconvenient and physically strenuous. The jacuzzi, designed for three people, is quite small, so I had to wait patiently for my turn to use it ?.
- 3/5
The breakfast was a total disappointment. Would not stay there again. Room ok. Check in staff was grumpy Very little food for breakfast, we had to go to a restaurant to eat.
- 5/5
It would be convenient to have a towel bar in the sink area and not just in the toilet room. Otherwise the rooms are very nice.
- 4/5
Clean, convient to places.
- 3.5/5
Probably should mention there's not to much hot food included with the breakfast (only waffles)
- 5/5
Great hotel, nice landscape and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous. We'll definitely be staying here again.
- 5/5
Lovely experience! Close to everything!

Best motel in town
- 5/5
Great staff, clean room, hot tub, nice breakfast included.

Clean, convenient location. I’d stay here again!

Beds were not super comfortable. Everything else was great
- 4/5
Good find centrally located for a weekend stay
- 5/5
Location ! Shower !

The price matches the quality. I liked that the window opens, but the housekeepers are very noisy—especially in the mornings, every day.
- 4/5
Clean convenient lication
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff were good. Reception staff could have been less grumpy.

Breakfast was very good, simular to other hotels. Breakfast room was clean, bright and well taken care of

Rooms are clean, beds very comfy, staff friendly.
- 4/5
Easy check in/out
- 5/5
The atmosphere was perfect! The hotel staff were amazing especially the gentlemen that works the 2-10pm shift, he was very helpful, professional and sweet 😊 The price was budget friendly without the worry of staying somewhere sketchy, I came all the way from Keizer, Oregon and I would definitely stay here again as I do love Santa Cruz and the locals that live here. So much in walking distance I wouldn’t need to spend more then I should just to have some upscale room on the beach! Missionnin was perfect!!!
- 4/5
the room i got was quite spacious the smell at the lobby
- 5/5
We really liked this place. We stayed for 4 nights. It is ideally located for the things we wanted to do and was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. It was a great stay,
- 5/5
It was a lovely place to stay in Santa Cruz.
- 3/5
Parking could be better! They need to remove long concrete strips painted yellow..they take up space to park comfortably. Fridge door did not close properly had to fight it every time opened. We got a towel with stains on it. Stains that were black..now how can you miss that? No pool. Just a hot tub.
- 5/5
The location is great, so convenient to the best areas in SC. Easy check in and breakfast was an added plus.
- 3/5
Clean and decent. Good place for the price.
- 4.5/5
Check-in was great! Allowed us early checkin and were given a ground floor room which was wonderful given my husband's bad knee. Bed was comfy, but a little too firm for our taste.
- 4/5
Drunk noisy next door neighbor. Construction was less noisy. Breakfast fair was poor. No hot water for tea.
- 5/5
Spacious room with a fridge. Older property but well maintained. Nice updates. Good bed. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Free parking. Walkable to restaurants. Nice landscaping.
- 4/5
Clean property, and well maintained. Its santa cruz, so the neighborhood is what it is. The hot tub was great and the breakfast was pretty standard continental with some extras added in. The location is nice and central for whatever your plans in town might be
- 4.5/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Recently remodeled room by all appearances. Breakfast was fine. Friendly staff. A few blocks from the coast.
- 5/5
Slept well. Great price for one room for a family of six. Decent breakfast.
- 3/5
Great location and very clean One of our beds was extra squeaky, there was construction happening in the room two doors down from us. The hotel was not full, so I was unclear why they put us two doors down from the construction instead of on the other side of the hotel. The coffee taste burnt in the morning.
- 1/5
As soon as we moved the bedding, a strong vomit odor hit us. Not faint, not surface-level. It was embedded in the mattress and spread through the room immediately, making it impossible to sleep. We immediately contacted the front desk. Staff barely reacted. Their “fix”? Stained sheets, uncovered pillows, and a blanket with no cover. No mattress protector was offered. We had to grab a blanket from the wardrobe and sleep as far away from the smell as possible. The hotel was fully booked, no alternative rooms were available, and it was past 11pm with a passed-out toddler, so leaving was not realistic. We had to rearrange the bed ourselves. I did not sleep at all. Later, they called it a “scent” complaint and claimed it was reported “nine hours after check-in.” Misleading. A mattress contaminated with vomit is unacceptable at any time. We were sold a room that was not clean, not sanitary, and not fit for occupancy. This stay shows a failure to meet basic cleanliness standards, unsanitary attempts at resolution, unresponsive staff, and no accountability. Any response blaming the guest instead of taking responsibility only confirms how poorly this property is run. Do not stay here.
- 5/5
It was nice and quiet and just a relaxing stay, even on a Saturday night. The breakfast was good and they had nice options to choose from. The bed was super comfortable!! And the staff was friendly and very helpful thank you Jennifer for all your help. It was a pleasure meeting you and we will definitely be back again.

Very clean room. Comfortable bed and linens. Close to Natural Bridges and Seymour Marine Center. Walking distance to several restaurants.
- 4/5
Good price good location, simple breakfast included.
- 4/5
The place is quiet and clean. The rooms are spacious. This was our 3rd time staying here and we will continue.
- 3/5
Breakfast had no meat.
- 3/5
Clean room fridge staff didn’t use hot tub, wish I would’ve known it’s doing a major remodel I have not book it plus I am handicap so only room was upstairs which my son and daughter had to almost carry me up two flights of stairs
- 3.5/5
Close to the location where we were working for a few days. Freshly renovated rooms. Continental breakfast. Ongoing renovation near our room had trailer full of demolition trash and additional piles right outside our door. This was taking up precious parking spaces and causing us to park farther away than convenient. Though it had been refreshed, the room design left something to be desired. No dressing area other than the cramped shower/toilet area. Door hit toilet. Shower pressure was low. Fridge inside a cabinet barely big enough for it, so got stuck when opened and could be left ajar easily.
- 5/5
Clean and updated room. Lots of greenery and flowers and fountain add charm to the hotel. Plenty of parking and great breakfast. Some guest were loud in the patio area because they were drinking but it wasn’t late at night so not extra bothersome. Also, front receptionist male was not rude but lacked a welcoming personality.
- 5/5
The inn was clean and comfortable. It is on a busy street but we were not bothered by the noise. The breakfast was basic but satisfying. The rooms were comfortable to stay in. This inn is on the north end of Santa Cruz close to Natural Bridges State Park.
- 5/5
Awesome facility
- 5/5
We stayed 1 night for a family trip. No complaints about the rooms. We weren’t in it much, just to sleep and it was perfect for that. The guy in the office wasn’t rude but not really friendly either. I’d stay again.
- 5/5
Jennifer checked us in, and she was wonderful! So sweet and welcoming!!! Our room was clean and spacious! Hotel is located within walking distance to stores and restaurants!! We would absolutely stay here again!

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room.
- 5/5
We love the location, it’s perfect for when we visit our children who attend UCSC!!
- 5/5
Quiet. Grounds well kept.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was wonderful. The property was extremely clean. The breakfast was your normal continental breakfast nothing too fancy was exactly what we expected.
- 5/5
The self serve shower supplies needed shampoo.
- 5/5
The bed was great in the Jacuzzi suite! The Jacuzzi tub in the room was amazing, we wish we could have taken it with us. The front desk staff was helpful and easy to work with. The only issues we had was the Wi-Fi was spotty and cut in and out on us so we weren't able to use some of the things we brought with us. They should add more Wi-Fi extenders to better cover the whole property. If your getting a Jacuzzi suite you need to know they are all on the second floor, my wife has some fatigue issues and if we had known they weren't available on the bottom floor we might have stayed elsewhere. But other then that, it was a great stay, would totally stay there again!

We had a great room that was very clean. The desk manager was more than accommodating and helpful in suggesting restaurants in the greater area. The jacuzzi was clean and fenced off in a private corner of the property. They had a lovely inner patio area. The location was in a quieter area of Santa Cruz, with a straight shot out to West Cliff Drive. We would happily stay there again.
- 4/5
The staff was wonderful! TV didn't work
- 5/5
The room was clean and quiet (we were in the back), the hot tub was lovely, parking was easy. Only thing that could have been better was breakfast, but it was fine: cereal, make your own waffles, bagels, mini muffins, biscuits and gravy(not good), coffee, tea, juice. The front desk staff was lovely. We stayed for 1 night for my daughter’s 10th birthday and would absolutely stay again.
- 4/5
Clean. Comfy. Two comfy chairs. Quiet. Friendly manager. Good price. Extra blanket had some dirt. Cereal and pastries. No elevator. For me not a problem. For other seniors, probably.

It was great. Convenient location to everything. Accommodations were nice. Really enjoyed the hot tub.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, courteous, and nice breakfast
- 3/5
The room was clean, staff was good and efficient. Breakfast was disappointing - cereal, waffles and coffee, but no protein or even a banana.
- 3/5
Room and staff were awesome but flooring needs to be repaired. Sheets and bedding were clean but the shampoo, conditioner and soap could be updated to less fragrant brand.
- 5/5
Friendly service with nice clean rooms.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service. Clean. quiet. Enjoyed the breakfast/breakfast room (nice selection, great coffee, and fresh fruit). Nice covered outdoor hot tub. Felt like a bed-and-breakfast versus a motel vibe. Very comfortable. Can’t wait to go back.

Yes to both questions ! Staff was great and amenities were also very nice!

Clean, convenient location, quiet and friendly service.

Súper helpful staff. Clean room. Free parking!

It very dirty and the front desk was very rude. This place is definitely not what hotels.com says it is. $162 is wayyyyy too much to pay for this place. The spa??? DIRTY

- 5/5
The only drawback I found was with the size of the hotel, the dining room during breakfast was packed and chaotic. The food was decent however and the wonderful staff kept the buffet full.
- 5/5
The hotel was perfect, very cute and clean, super nice staff and great location. Will stay here again.
- 4/5
Typical motel experience nothing over the top. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean, good breakfast
- 1/5
Hard beds and pillows. Noise all night. I’m surprised you rated this one so high.
- 4/5
Nice and clean room, well furnished except for nightstands and reading lights. One very small nightstand for 2 queen beds and no reading lights. Other than that highly recommended.
- 5/5
Enjoyable stay close to dining options. Sizable bathroom area. Clean. Desk was a little small for setting up a laptop.
- 3/5
It was a decent place, especially for that price point. I think with the Hotels.com ranking of 9.2 I just expected a little more. The bathroom fan would short out in the refrigerator didn’t fit into the cabinet. You had to tug against the cabinet to open it. The breakfast is not good for people with dietary restrictions or wishing to eat low carb or a carb free. My friend tried the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were not defrosted from obviously being in the freezer at night it was a nice clean room and staff was nice. I would probably stay again just with tempered expectations.
- 5/5
Check in was easy and the attendant was pleasant and helpful with dinner options in the area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic with a nice variety of choices.
- 5/5
The chick at the front desk was awesome. Thank you for the spoon
- 4/5
The only reason to give it a four was the hairdryer that was a bit dirty and didn’t work, the cheaper handsoap, and the thinner walls, although still not too noisy.
- 2/5
The TV didn’t work but no one at the front desk picked up when we called for assistance. There was someone’s tooth floss stuck to the wall. Breakfast was ok but with the flickering lights and TV news on, it wasn’t a pleasant ambience. The mattress was noise and worn out. The sheets and pillows were uncomfortable. Kind of hot synthetic fabric. The stay was only okay
- 5/5
good
- 5/5
Nice room. Close to beaches
- 3/5
Room 136. No maid service during 2 day stay
- 5/5
Excellent service, breakfast was very good.
- 4/5
Staff was mediocre at best, at one point we canned down for service for cleaning the room and we forgot to give them our name, and when we called back to give them our name, they pretended like they already knew who we were. The funny thing is is that we were calling from a different phone than what was registered on our profile so there was no way they could know what that cell phone number was registered too. So they flat out misrepresented and did not own the outcome. Other than that, this was a passable location for the price. If all you're looking for is a place to sleep, this fits the bill. One plus side is that it is very close to Companion Bakery!
- 4/5
The room was okay, about what you'd expect for the price. The location was good. I went for a hike. The sauna & hot tub are what made me decide on this location, and they were just fine.
- 5/5
The room and breakfast were just fine. I was greeted by a front desk person that was cheerful.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and wonderful, helpful staff! Will stay again!
- 5/5
Very pleased with the breakfast offerings.
- 1/5
Hot tub and floor was dirty. The check in
- 4/5
Bath tub drain is extremely hard to remove once bath is full. Both myself and husband couldn’t remove and had to pry open. Just fyi for future guests. Everything else was wonderful
- 5/5
Very courteous staff. Room is spacious and well equipped.
- 5/5
Actually the front desk guy was a bit surly when I asked for fresh towels ( my husband did not want to be disturbed when the housekeeper was making her rounds earlier). Other than that the stay was as expected.
- 4/5
Clean, great bed, we will be back
- 4/5
Better than I expected. Clean and comfortable / good quick overnight for Thanksgiving.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 4/5
This little place was great! Very centric, and pretty much right off what im assuming is a main street running through Santa Cruz. Close to many attractions, stores and downtown. The room was very clean, and the customer service was amazing. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but you also can't expect much if it's free, I suppose. The hotel is pretty small, and it's easy to get turned around while walking through the property, but it's practically a non-issue. Will definitely be staying here again.
- 5/5
Hot tub is small but still a great amenity
- 5/5
Beverages such as coffee and tea could be available outside of breakfast hours, such as in the lobby. The breakfast time could end later, such as 9:30 am.
- 5/5
busy area, but the room was very quiet. very good breakfast.
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 3/5
The room was nice and clean . I’d stay again
- 4/5
The office staff member was helpful with questions about local restaurant options. The room was clean and nicely lit. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding. The included breakfast was very nice to have. I appreciated the hard boiled egg and bagels, juice/fresh fruit, and coffee. We would stay again when visiting the area.
- 5/5
The kids enjoyed the overall environment, the hot tub, and the various options at breakfast, especially the waffles!
- 4/5
I wish there was a better variety of breakfast food and gluten free options
- 5/5
It’s a charming place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms, comfy king sized bed. We would def stay there again.
- 5/5
I really liked this place. Cozy rooms, clean, attentive staff. In the area has lots of of convenient food, markets,, etc. would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.
- 2/5
The thin walls at Mission Inn are awful. We could hear people next to us in the bathroom. But worse than that, the people/kids above us sounded like a herd of elepants at all hours preventing us from relaxing and sleeping. It’s tight on the main road into Santa Cruz so it can be noisy depending on the location of your room. If you’re not sensitive to noise, it’s a good location an the staff is responsive.
- 5/5
Room was in clean good shape! Lovely area and good service. Wish they served hot meat options for breakfast however…
- 5/5
Everything about my stay was awesome. The room sir comfortable with lots of entertainment options. And the staff are really what make it great especially all the hard-working housekeeping that keep those rooms so nice and the front office staff who are very patient and welcoming. I hate leaving great reviews because I know it'll probably get them all booked up, but I really did have to shout this one out. Very good.
- 5/5
Clean, great room.
- 4/5
Key card stopped working. Hassle. A rat in the hot tub area. Other than that it was okay.
- 3/5
The room was clean but very noisy. Something in the walls like the pipes were making so much noise that I couldn’t sleep. Good location and parking was easy and free. Lots of restaurants and grocery store within walking distance.
- 5/5
the best housekeeping
- 5/5
Well located. Super clean :-)
- 5/5
Did not go in hot tub. Did not have breakfast
- 5/5
Nice place, definitely worth a visit.
- 4/5
Great staff, continental breakfast, nice renovated room, spacious - the only thing that we feel needs addressing are the very dusty window screen and the floor was dusty or unclean. We can tell from the sole of our slippers we brought in to wear there that we ended up throwing away.
- 4/5
Great price, clean rooms.
- 4/5
Entirely adequate, but dated
- 5/5
We enjoyed the hot tub, the breakfast room with delicious biscuits and gravy and the location for a wonderful Safeway and great pizza!!
- 4/5
We had nice two day stay at Mission Inn, and I would definitely return. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine, choices, of cereal, breads, waffles and biscuit and gravy and fruit. It was a short drive to the beach and to downtown. My only complaint was the room service didn't replace kleenex or coffee pods or straighten out the room. The front desk people were quite nice and for the price it is a great place to stay.

Efficient accommodation for a one nights staff passing through Santa Cruz
- 5/5
Clean room, frig, microwave, plenty of outlets. Friendly, helpful staff. Better than average continental breakfast options. Walkable to coffee/bakery, brewery, cute dive bar, food options. Good value for the price.
- 4/5
The pillows and towels had some stains but everything else was clean.
- 4/5
Great location for UCSC and many hip restaurants and shops. Pros: Hotel was clean and somewhat recently renovated, staff were helpful and welcoming, beds were comfortable, free parking, location, breakfast. Cons: shutters that did not block out morning sun, some wear and tear in bathroom in regard to door/towels, AC that turned on and off all night waking us up a bunch, weird comforter without a duvet, TV super laggy and glitchy. Not a bad experience at all, but I think we will try other local places before we’d return. And we’d definitely ask for a room with sun blocking window shades.
- 5/5
The room seems to be newly remodeled, it is clean and cozy, decently sized. Easily accessible from the Main Street, and ample parking. Good options of restaurants along the street. The front desk manager is attentive.
- 4/5
Nice staff.
- 1/5
Pillow case where nasty stain the front desk guy was rude
- 5/5
My daughter and I loved our stay here. The hotel property was beautiful and all of the staff were kind and friendly! We will stay here next time we’re in Santa Cruz!
- 5/5
Great location. Get high, and have the munchies, all in walking distance.
- 4/5
Person that checked us in was very helpful, friendly.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel. customer service was great and the room was very cozy
- 5/5
We have stayed at Mission Inn a few times when visiting Santa Cruz and the rooms are always clean, Justin and Ben were friendly and helpful, and the grounds are well kept. We will consider Mission Inn next time we visit Santa Cruz.
- 2/5
Stayed one night here while visiting friends. Not impressed, a little rough around the edges. Pretty noisy and showerhead was horrible! Stay somewhere else.
- 3/5
Check in was very pleasant. The lady checking us in gave us a thorough briefing and assured us someone would be there 24 hours a day—something that is rarer and rarer these days. The room is clean and comfortable. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom. One weird quirk is the rollout desk (I’ll provide a picture) that is in the narrow passageway between the entrance and bathroom area and the main part of the room. The Wifi was mostly out of commission. It worked fine the first evening we were there. The second day, it kept dropping my MacBook’s connection. The front desk said to call an outfit called Macrotech. They got me connected but it dropped again as soon as I hung up. I called again and again they did something remotely that got me connected but that only lasted about 10 minutes. I wouldn’t count on Wifi here. The air conditioner and bathroom fan are both very loud. So turn on the AC early and get the room very cold so you can turn it off and maybe sleep through the night.
- 3/5
I thought the quality was not up to par with the price. Outside was pretty dirty and unappealing, staff was unfriendly and room, although clean and a good size, smelled like a smoker’s room. I should have asked to switch but was just too tired from long drive. I opened the windows and turned air on and went to sleep. Breakfast was decent but probably would not stay again.
- 5/5
The beds were very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and room we had for three nights was very quiet. Short drive to all of the good spots to visit in Santa Cruz. We would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Good and convenient for the price. Good breakfast.

The Mission Inn is lovely with excellent breakfast and awesome staff.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the stay was great! The continental breakfast was nice as well. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
We had an excellent stay. The room was clean and updated, staff was friendly, the king bed was comfortable and firm, plenty of parking spots, good assortment of continental breakfast (we had boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt). Overall very satisfied and would come back again.

Nice, quiet, felt safe.

“The place is very comfortable, close to the areas you can visit when traveling, with supermarkets and restaurants within reach without the stress of driving. Highly recommended. I should add that I left my AirPods at the hotel. They called me 40 minutes later to tell me I'd forgotten them and they had them. That speaks volumes about the staff and their honesty. I would have liked if there had been a pool for the kids
- 3/5
Clean, but nondescript.

I stayed at the Inn while some work was being done on my nearby home. This is Santa Cruz at its best =).
- 4/5
It was decent; fortunately, we were in a room away from the street, but be forewarned that the street is pretty busy and rooms closer to the street are going to get more noise. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast room is tiny.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
The front desk people were friendly, helpful and accommodating, the cleaning ladies were sweet and helpful as well. I saw reveiws that said amazing breakfast, so that was a large reason we chose here... we were disappointed for our situation, but it may be fine for others. The only meat was a biscuits and gravy, and only other protein options were cheese sticks, and yogurt, and hardboiled eggs. There was a nice variety of other items available if you can eat those. Toast, muffins, waffles, juices, coffee, bananas, apple, oranges. The 1st morning everything was full and being overseen by a sweet lady. The next morning everything was sparce with barely any options available and it wasn't even close to breakfast closing time. The most disapointing part was an inspector showed up when we were almost ready to leave. The lady who came in to show her around assured her as she peared into the completely empty yogurt, cheese, area that 15min ago this was completely full. (It had been empty at least 45min, no milk left for cereal. no eggs or biscuits and gravy offered that morning) ovrall the place was clean and we were happy with what was available, under our comforter on the sheet was a large blue pen or marker blot. hopefully they don't blame us for it. We loved the beautiful plants and alcoves for sitting and eating, as well as the hot tub area. Its just when you spend an exorbitant amount per night there are a few things/or standard you sort of automaticly expect to be provided.
- 5/5
Very clean room, comfy bed and the jetted tub was amazing! The location is perfect if going to the Boardwalk. Also there is a Safeway right across the street for easy shopping for drinks/food. We took ride shares from the hotel instead of paying for parking at the boardwalk and it worked out perfect. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff was great. Quiet place off the beaten path. Love that it is close to downtown.
- 5/5
The two receptionists (check in-out) each went out of their way to assist us. Floor nor clean but rest of room great. Met expectations.
- 4/5
We told front desk my husband had knee surgery and need lower level. He said because we booked through 3rd party he cant give us lower level a rewards member may need it. It was 7 pm. There were vacantlower units.
- 3/5
Quality control lacking. decor of the room was haphazard and poorly designed.
- 4/5
The room and the staff were great. The Inn itself is on a busy street so there was a fair amount of city noise. The big problem for me was that the breakfast was terrible and there was very little room to sit. The toaster didn't work well at all and there was no hot protein offering. It was a very small inconvenient room with not good food.

It was pretty good. Comfy bed and clean.
- 3/5
The staff checking us in was not informative or kind
- 4/5
Perfect location for us to walk to everything we needed. The room was very clean and up-to-date. The breakfast was a bit chaotic chaotic in a small room with not great food.
- 5/5
Great front desk service. Clean room and parking right up front on site. Great selection for breakfast. Only downside I would say is that the jacuzzi was a bit murky and had an odd scent.

We really enjoy this hotel. It is on the west side of Santa Cruz, a little farther from the hustle and bustle, but that’s just what we want! Lots of restaurants near by and only a 5 minute drive to the boardwalk. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Central location for this motel. Room floor ing and lamps need repair. Mold in bathroom.
- 5/5
Great location for Westside exploration. Really appreciated the outdoor seating around the hotel. Friendly staff.

I appreciated the breakfast room and everywhere we wanted to go was within a few miles.Great Mexican food up and down mission. Only thing was the courtyard patio is a bit noisy in the mornings...

Quiet and clean

Worth it for sure!

Very expensive for what you get, which is an average older hotel. Breakfast choices were comical, as was the size of the room.

Our stay was great. No complaints. The only thing i was not aware of was a deposit and not sure if that was outlined on the description. I maybe missed it. And parking was a little tight with a full size truck. But overall was nice for us. Rooms looked remodeled and nice.

Nice clean room with a nice simple breakfast. I would stay again.

I’m not one to complain, never have, but whoever is in charge of room selection needs to know, you booked us in a very nice and comfortable room down stairs and booked the room directly above us to a family of 5,, 3 young children and 2 adults. Pictures in my room were moving. Non stop running and jumping off beds for 2days. Let the front desk staff know 4times. I don’t blame the family because I had young children, but the staff could have either moved them to a ground floor or moved us to a different room. I love the Mission Inn and will be staying there again, but I’ll make sure it’s a second floor room.

The property was so beautiful, so many colorful plants it brought such a beautiful touch. The room was so beautiful and super clean, and you get a nice breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be coming back.

Renovated facility and nice receptionist .
- 5/5
Inside the room was nice but outside the room needed work.

Room very clean. Had a safe in it. Restaurants close by. Way better than the place I stayed the night before which was probably the runner-up location for Steohin King's 'The Shining'

Quiet..safe

Great location, good price, away from the main activities so it was quiet. And the room was impressively clean!
- 5/5
The handicap accessible room was very nice and spotless. The bed was very comfy. The front desk people were very personable and helpful. Chloe’s Kitchen across the street had wonderful fresh Asian food and the service was great. The room was on the front of the building, but was very quiet. Heard no street or neighbor noise. The hot tub was alike cloudy and had some oily film floating in it, so we didn’t use it. Would definitely recommend staying here. Nice breakfast too.

The room is quiet and clean.

It's a solid, no frills motel but room was very clean and good sized. We stayed on the second floor corner right next to the street, which is basically HWY 1 and although it was loud outside, the walls are very well insulated and was pretty quiet inside. Their free breakfast is great with your typical bagels, cereal, waffles, yogurt, coffee, etc - but they also offered Jimmy Dean sausage croissants and biscuits & gravy which was a nice bonus so I'd say their breakfast is better than most motels in this price range. Hot Tub was average so nothing exceptional there, Its a couple miles from the Boardwalk so don't expect to walk from here but its only like an 8-10 minute drive with traffic. There's a fantastic brewery about a block away and great restaurants nearby. Definitely worth the stay for the price & staff was great too.

Yug get no

A little noisy due to the roads
- 3/5
Beds were uncomfortable, front desk lady was standoffish and curt. Lastly, breakfast was weak—full of carbs and bad orange juice.

Nice blinds Good soap

Great place to stay
- 5/5
The rooms were beautifully kept. The breakfast was tasty. So much parking. There seems to be many restaurants in the area and shopping centers. I did misread and thought they had a pool but that's okay it was a nice place to spend the weekend.
- 5/5
Very clean, nice location, bed was comfy, and nice breakfast.
- 5/5
Will come back again!

Greatly enjoyed our stay at this inn. Jennifer at the front desk was especially wonderful!
- 4/5
We enjoyed using the outdoor hot tub. The bed was comfortable. We werent too happy about the price. We felt they raised the rates due to the holiday weekend.
- 5/5
Clean and comfy room, free parking, free breakfast. My go-to hotel for the Santa Cruz area.
- 4/5
I would add that the breakfast should include some sort of protein options. Eggs, bacon, sausage... something besides varying types of bread.
