    Disappointed in the quality of the hotel Obviously an older structure that needed updates. Elevator was quick and quiet but needed a facelift. Carpet worn and shredded in room. Front window curtains were shredded and torn. Front exterior door had no seals and you could daylight around door jamb. A/C was difficult to adjust and maintain a comfortable temp. Bathroom sink had several cracks. Discolored bathroom tub. Bed was comfortable and sheets and blankets appeared new and clean. Plenty of towels and hangers Furniture in room appeared worn, stained, mismatched.

    We had an event in the area and this was the closest hotel to the museum. Check-in was ok. We could not really inspect the room because we only had 30 mins to get in, take a quick shower and go to the event. The bathroom was not clean. We got back late and found out the room also had roaches. Everything else around was sold out and it was too late to make other arrangements. We will never stay here again.

    There is a fork on the side of the bed that has food on it, sticky stuff on the end table, stuff on the toilet seat, tissue shoved in the peep hole etc... this room is not clean and I have taken photos to submit. really would like my money back.

    Terrible service, no phone connected, dirty room (found items from previous guest), water issues, no WiFi, broken door locked on connecting room. Felt very unsafe and unsanitary. We had to leave right away and even though issues were reported, they were not resolved and they did not reimburse the fees. Lack of accountability and responsiveness was clear and evident. Would never recommend it and they need to be inspected by the local issues as I do honestly believe they are not in compliance with local rules to be able to receive guest and provide basic standard quality services.

    The front office staff was amazing. Quick and nice. When i got the room I turned down the AC, which did not seem to get very cold (I did not complain to thebfront office) the bathroom needs to be remodeled. It was pretty quiet area and close enough to different stores. One of the pillow cases looked to have had a stain, again i did not say anything and the remote was very nasty and should be changed. I would not have paid full price.

    You definitely get what you pay for. No internet in the room that was working during my stay. Some sketchy people staying at the motel, which makes it feel a bit less safe and comfortable. Location was good, with access to shops, food, coffee, etc. Staff seemed a bit unpolished overall.

    I don’t know how Wyndham allows this hotel to represent them. Very very very old and not well kept up hotel that we wasted our money on for a 2 day stay. Elevator was not working we had to track our luggage up to the 3rd floor, room smelled really bad, ripped carpets,room door has about a 2inch gap bathtub did not drain and it did not have a stopper so when one person took a shower you had to wait for the water to drain before the 2nd person can take a shower otherwise you would have a flood,sink was cracked without stopper the shampoo they provided in the tub area the bottle was empty so that means that housekeeping doesn’t even bother to check that. I wish I would have read the reviews from previous guests before I booked to stay at this dump. This place needs to be shut down and remodeled ASAP. Slumlords who ever owns this place. We didn’t even trust to go to the breakfast they offered. Couldn’t tell you what that looked liked we opted to go out for breakfast to play it safe. STAY AWAY

    Thankfully I only stayed one night. I was looking for an inexpensive hotel room knowing I was only going to sleep there. The bed was ok but the bathroom was not good.     The place needs major upgrade. Bathroom had mold and stains. Carpet old and dirty looking. Elevator didn’t work. Had to use stairs. Really run down. Didn’t resemble any Wyndham I’ve stayed in before. Staff were very nice but place is not nice at all.

    The room was gross. It was late in the night and we were tired with kids so stayed anyway. Room was,filthy and stinky, broken refregirator, leaky faucets, elevator did not work, dirth bathtub and sink. Beds were horrendous - felt like sleeping on a wire mesh. Broken baseboards and tilted bed. Everything was grimey and sticky. And the smell i can still taste it.

    Awful Baymont Wyndham. Only good thing I have to say is that the front desk women were very nice. Thought we would be okay staying here in a pinch because expedia recommended. The property not up kept for Wyndham property. Outside of the building was rundown, falling apart and dirty. Inside of room floor filthy, furniture falling apart, tub peeling and bath faucet stained, oval toilet seat on a round toilet (I have photo's). Also included a breakfast which wasn't very appealing, when I asked server for a tea bag because there was only one Herbal tea out for the guests he brought me a choice and then he put the 3 he brought out all away again?. Also someone swimming in clothes? And there was a leak in a nearby upstairs room which was leaking to the floor below. No need to continue you get the point. There won't be a next time for us!

    This is an old motel with the Baymont name. It had cracked concrete walkways. The elevator floor was worn out wood. The tile in our bathroom was cracked in several places. The tub faucet was falling off. The carpeting was worn in places and I would not walk on it in bare feet. The shower did have hot water. The sheets were clean. Staff was friendly.

    Property very run down. Somewhat sketchy neighborhood. Front desk lady was not at all helpful when we arrived at 2:30 pm. She informed us that check in wasn't until 3:00 and that our room wasn't ready. Although check out is at 11:00 she said there were no King rooms available. She claimed the hotel was fully booked last night and the cleaners were backed up. The parking lot was virtually empty. I asked her if she could contact housekeeping & ask them to prioritize a King room. She said No. We explained that we were needing to change clothes quickly and head to a wedding. She told us it could be up to an hour's wait. Having no choice but to wait, we sat in our car. We observed a housekeeper on the balcony having a cigarette & chatting on her cell phone. The front desk lady did come out to our car a couple minutes before 3:00 & tell us that our room was ready. The room was in very shabby condition. Dirty carpet with holes in it. Mismatched chair & ottoman had dirty upholstery. Furniture banged up & chipped. The bed was OK, and the bed linens & towels were clean.

    We drove around this dumpy hotel twice looking for the Baymount Hotel by Wyndham, before we realized that was the Baymount Wyndham! To say we were shocked would be an understatement ! It was nothing as we expected. The hotel was livable for a weekend stay. The breakfast buffet was just OK.

    Cons: toilet was not flushing right, lights over sink were not working right (dim, flickering), the room smelled strongly (cigarette smoke?) that was not pleasant. It got better the next day after I aired out the room with fresh air. One reason I chose the hotel was for the pool which was closed due to storm damage. They should have told me that when I booked the room.

    We didn’t even stay once we showed up and saw the conditions of this hotel. People were doing drugs in the parking lot. We didn’t even feel safe leaving our vehicles in the parking lot. The pictures are not true to how the hotel looks. We didn’t even stay because it wasn’t safe or clean and still were charged for the night. We were displaced from the hurricane and chose to go back to our moldy house.

    The stay was very unpleasant due to cleanliness of the exterior and interior room. The other guests were loud and disrespectful. The service was slow and showed a lack of hospitality. I really thought that this hotel was more professional and courteous. That is why I chose this hotel. Would not recommend.

    Upon arrival. There was no hot water. This was not good since i needed to remove the layers of grime from leaving my home. I went to discuss with front desk and ask for a partial refund since i was not told this prior to check in. I was told mgr would call me and no one has called me. I would like a partial refund still.

    We booked a two room suit but we’re told that they have not had any two room suits in a long time. They were very nice and did their best to get my family two rooms that were close together. The bathroom in one of the rooms only had very hot water in the shower. The cold water would not turn on. The bathroom in our other room, the tub had a super slow drain. And there was 5 of us that had to use it. We also did find a few cockroaches. On the outside of the property there was blood all over the stairs leading to the parking lot and blood all along the walking path. I don’t know what happened there. The staff was very nice. I just wish the hotel was just as nice.

    Verbally abused at check in by a prostitute while the staff did nothing. Filthy room. Dead cockroaches in the bed sheets. This is the worst place I've ever stayed. Completely low class. Decent accommodations at this price were available all over the area. I have to question Hotels.com for even listing this dump. Next time I'll do my own reviewing.

    The outside of the hotel prompted me to go inside where there was a leaking ceiling and a bucket in the middle of the floor of the lobby and ask if the rooms were as old and run down as the exterior. I was offered the opportunity to go and look at the rooms which appeared to be fairly clean, but smelled extremely strongly of mothballs and was just not the place I would ever stay. I was told that I would receive a refund and I'm waiting to see if that in fact occurs. The staff was very understanding and professional

    Room in very poor condition-stained carpet, heavy dust/debris on carpet in corners, along baseboards, and behind bed. Peeling paint on the walls, frayed carpet, and the room had an odor of stale cigarette smoke. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Cleanliness of room was poor overall. Furniture in room was old, outdated, and in poor condition. “Free breakfast” was a joke. The only edible items were the sausage links. We will not stay at this hotel ever again.

    Stay at your own risk. Room 232 has clearly been broken into before. The door did not seal, the swing hasp was broken, and the window was pushed in. More than a few seedy looking individuals milling about the property also.

    Arrived to check in, woman behind the counter was sleeping… full on snoring/deep sleeping. After repeatedly saying “Mam!”… I went to the car and had my husband honk the horn. That still didn’t wake her up. I went back in and got louder, “Hello, Mam!!?” … she finally woke up and wasn’t very personable, friendly, or welcoming. Additionally, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the stairs we had to use to get to our room had water dripping on us from an earlier rain. The ice machine on the second floor near our room was also broken and the bedroom sheets had stains on them. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this location. Wasted 10 minutes of my life trying to check in to a less than mediocre hotel.

    It smelt like a gym room. The carpet was torn up where it met the bathroom tile. This left nails and staples that my child and i stepped on. The shower knobs weren't in proper working condition. So when we attempted to get clean, we got burned by the water because the temperature was adjusting on it's own. The drain didn't drain when the shower was on, so we had to shower in a moldy bathroom in water up to our shins. This was an absolutely disgusting and disappointing experience and definitely NOT SAFE FOR FAMILIES. There were other people staying in the hotel with visible needles on their persons. I was approached in the parking lot twice by homeless men who were clearly under the influence, during the morning before check out. I would appreciate it if our night tonight was covered in a hotel in Ellenton Florida.

    The room had a smell, carpet was old and looked dirty. There was a dead roach and we saw a few live ones around. The toilet had a valve problem too. It was not the worst but we feel they need to look into these problems to make it better for them and the next guests.

    We got in late and was disappointed to learn the pool closes at 8:00 p.m. When we walked into our room (137) we noticed a strong musty smell, and the carpet looked dirty. The rooms were cool and finding another place that could accommodate our party of 5 this late would be impossible on a holiday weekend so we decided to tough it out. The windows do not have black out curtains so the light outside the door made it hard to sleep well, the beds were ok but not the most comfortable, The following morning my eyes were swollen which meant for me that there was likely mold in the room, looking in the bathroom we noticed water damaged walls that had been painted over to look better than they were. The toilet paper holder was loose due to wall damage. top layer of drywall, which had been originally covered in wallpaper had now been painted over to make the walls appear to be in better shape than they were. The tile was loose due to water damaged walls close to the floor behind the toilet and there was mold showing through the paint above the shower. The half bath in the second room had the sound of dripping water inside the wall. Breakfast was good but there were signs of water damage on the ceiling in the dining area. It's obvious that proper water damage repair had not taken place post hurricane even though it's been well over a year. I expressed my disappointment and was told a manager would call me to discuss my stay. It has been 5 days and no call has been received.

    The 4 inch cockroach on the last day didn't help either. The pool was fine, and the breakfast minimal but ok. It is what it is.

    Non of the drains worked properly, they were plugged, also some baby roaches on my room, they need to call an specialist, a guy was fumigating in the common areas but is not enough, they need experts. Other than that was clean and quiet, nice staff

    It checked a lot of boxes on what we needed for a baseball tournament weekend, short travel to the fields, a pool, breakfast, washing amenities, even a Starbucks close by. But it was $110/night, we got what we paid for, no major complaints. On the last night our tv went out, there was a good faith attempt by the front desk to fix it but it was broken beyond repair.

    I booked a handicap room but they claimed there wasn’t one available but I know on their website there was when I booked so we weren’t given the type of room we booked. Also the beds were hard as a rock! I’ve had back problems ever since we stayed! Never staying there again!!!

    The Ac did not work the last night of my stay and it stayed at 76°, which is very hot. The TV never worked the entire time I was there and there was mold in the grout

    We, as a company, booked two rooms for our employees and from what they told us, everything went smoothly. One of the rooms, had an issue where he couldn’t get into his room because the key wouldn’t work. It took about an hour and a half but it was resolved. However, it did get resolved and overall, it was a good stay for both of them. This is the second time we have booked here for employees and have been very satisfied with the service.

    The AC didn’t work for our first room and they changed us but the new room didn’t have hot water, there were cockroaches as well.
