The hotel is right next to the crowded highway. Breakfast is mediocre at best.

The property was clean with a beautiful view of the water. Breakfast was good. would recommend and would stay again.

The view backside is beautiful with a tropical feel and fabulous views of the waterway- Sarasota bay where is narrows. Directly in the flight path of the airport so loud planes fly over up until 11:30 pm and start at 6:30am. Friday night a very good country band played at the bar next to the property and while we loved it, it was very loud in our rooms and they played until just after 10pm. Anyone with kids should be aware of this. They have live music Thursday too but not as loud or late. I imagine saturday more music

Got kick out for for having a boat that was on the reservation

I didn’t eat. I only got coffee. The coffee was very good. The property needed to be cleaned. The bathroom was terrible and the Internet was awful.

We loved it; it’s close to all the beaches and many restaurants. The stay was wonderful, I recommend it 100%.

From the moment I checked in with the kind and multilingual staff, I felt at ease. The entire place is clean and manicured. The waterfront pool and bar are a really good time! The pool is clean and warm. Towels provided on comfortable chaise lounge chairs. Families could dine and play Bingo. Plentiful parking lot was well lit and felt safe. It's super close to the airport and area activities. My room was super clean and kept that way the entire stay. I had a wonderful room attendant. I would definitely stay again! Thank you!!!

Room was not as promised, shower was like taking a shower in a pool as it would not drain, beds were very old and uncomfortable. It was a place to sleep is how my family looked at it.

The breakfast, was good. Good cleaning. The location was really good. I did not like that, even though I sent an email notifying the hotel that I would not be able to check in until the following day because of heavy rain and thunderstorms, which forced us to stay at another hotel overnight. When we arrived at the Ramada Hotel, the front desk clerk told me that I had lost my reservation and that she would have to create a new one. She also said she would give me a different room from the one I had originally booked and that I would have to move to another room the next day at 11:00 a.m. The room she gave me looked very old and outdated, and the bathroom was terrible. The next morning, we spoke with the staff and requested a room change at 8:00 a.m. because we would not be returning to the hotel until that evening. Overall, the entire situation was very uncomfortable and disappointing.

Nice location for the hotel kind of a shady area, were a lot of people smoking weed around and definitely homeless people but despite that it definitely wasn't too bad of a stay. Would definitely return in the future.

Very disappointing of the bar. Very crowded, Very loud with ( Rock Band ). Did not know one song. Wanted a bar with calmer music and to meet and mingle with others. Not able to do so. Service was also very slow. Would not recommend.

The only drawback I had is there are no drink or snack machines. Not even in the lobby, office area. i would guess because they have the onsite tiki bar and restaurant but still, they need soda and snack machine. Had to go to a store and stock up. Other than that, I had a really nice time.

Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Housekeeping lady did yer thing, her name was Norma she gets 5 stars. What I didnt like: 1. Rooms dont have draws to put clothes away. I stayed here for 9 days and had to leave my clothes in my luggage. 👎 2. Closet is normal size so you only get 6 hangers, which makes it inconvenient to hang my l Clothes and the one person i traveled with.👎 3. bathroom very small, so small that two people Cant be in it at the same time. Let alone close the door. 4. The pool was cloudy, and I never saw anyone come in to clean it. That is disgusting!! I opted to go to the beach instead of lounging and going in the pool. **when you have this type of business with a pool at hotel, there shouldn't be black stuff at the bottom of the pool** Other than this, it was a nice stay w my family.

We enjoyed the entertainment at the restaurant - bar. Breakfast was good, but 1 of the mornings we believe that you reused the sausage. They were dry and hard. You were out of towels at the pool. Please have someone checking for that.

The room was beautiful and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable! They even have bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash hanging up in the shower. Smells good and my hair was like normal (not rough). Bruce and Melissa at breakfast were so friendly and took care of everyone who walked in. Greeted everyone, made sure the tables and floor was spotless and the food was great! Breakfast included is always a plus! My fiance and I will definitely be staying there again in the future. Thank You!

The place was in a great location if you had a room with a view of the water. The tiki bar the restaurant the pool the music was great. I don’t think they mopped the floors in the room. We had to clean our own floor.

Breakfast area was excellent. Nice staff. I was in the building to the left of the office. I think they were housing the homeless there. My door was sticky and I had to throw a shoulder into it to open. The space near the frig was full of dirt.

The hotel is ok, but one thing was extremely annoying and bothered, there was so many tiny flies in the bathroom non stop! It was really hard to wash your face, brush teeth with all that insects flying around your face all the time. Breakfast was ok. It’s just people staying there were kinda annoying and didn’t care there are others around them. Definitely not going back. I just expect more from hotel like this.

The breakfast food was ok. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes/ waffles, fruit, dry cereal, yogurt. Coffee, orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate. The live band was nice but a little bit too loud. The food and drinks were on the high price. In the room had two queen beds one was almost put against the wall so you could only use that on the one side. The bathroom tub needed a little bit more cleaning around the soapbox and the handle for hot and cold was backwards. It was nice waking up each morning looking out the door and seeing the boats on the water. The planes did not fly past 9 or 10pm each night but did start flying around about 6am.

The hotel is in a great location. I would give it 4.5 stars for what it has to offer. Breakfast was decent, good pool area with a restaurant that had a great menu. It was a little noisy due to some hurricane restorations going on, but it was not too bad.

The rooms were standard for this type motel. Always kept clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was very friendly. The included breakfast was always fresh and tasty with plenty of choices. The Tiki bar was nice, although the food was pricey and took forever because of the large crowd there.

The only complaint I had was that the bathroom door does not open all the way. It hits the front of the toilet. A large person would not be able to get in. Also once in the bathroom the door did not close all the way.

Honestly it’s a great location, it was clean, everyone was nice, having the tiki bar puts it over the top. My only complaint was the bed wasn’t comfortable at all and pillows basically squished into nothingness.

Enjoyed the pool area, Tiki bar to watch March Madness games and enjoyed live music with dinner - the food was great too. The lady that checked me in - I believe the manager on duty- was very friendly and went above and beyond. As a post-op patient at the time w/ a walker and leg brace, she ensured that my room had a walk in shower without me needing to ask. She was very thorough and wanted to ensure I was comfortable. She was very kind and I witnessed the same with her interactions with customers before and after my check in. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean but toilet had very low pressure. Was afraid it would clog at any minute. Images focus on the nice side of the hotel. The entry side is not very attractive. Rooms are not soundproof. You can hear your neighbors talking, etc, very clearly. Worse... We knew it was near an airport but you will loudly hear and occasionally feel every flight. No sound proofing was done. We had flights until 1am. Overall the price was good. The hotel was adequate for an evening and it was clean. The view on the opposite side of the entrance is beautiful.

The planes landing very often are quite disturbing up to late night. Rooms just didn't feel clean. Bathrooms especially could do with deep cleaning.

Too many stairs and no elevators:( my daughter has MS and I have a bad back we had to leave:(we didn't get the rooms ee asked for. They made us pay for the night we stayed and my daughter barely made it up and down the stairs. Beds were so hard:( the boat view was nice and the hut restaurant/bar but that was all.

Room cosmetically updated but closing door ancient and needs work and rust in bathroom needs more paint. Staff very friendly. Access to pool is backward but understand staffing/security issues for limited point of entry. Pool great and bingo fun

Not bad. It's ok. Clean. Safe. Charming view from the upper level balcony facing the marina. Not enough places to park in the evening because it is shared with clients of the tiki bar next door. It gets pretty loud and crowded. Average volume level conversations can be easily heard through the walls. Decent breakfast offerings.

Nice pool area. Breakfast is wonderful and check in area seems updated and comfy. Our room needed updating. Sliding door to outside where bad shape. Views were nice if on waterside. Airplanes flew over many times a day. Nice restaurant a little pricey for bar food.

Onsite casual restaurant and bar made our stay enjoyable; sitting along the water at sunset was nice. Room could use some refreshing in some areas; unfortunately found some hairs in the bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was well displayed but mediocre. I wish we would’ve known that we were in the airport flight path. Jets flying overhead at low altitude until after midnight.

Breakfast was great. Staff at breakfast were wonderful. The person who checked me in was so helpful. Was able to check in earlier after 19 hours driving. Housekeeping were great too. The only issue we had was, that the whole water system was clogged up. The sink with bathtub took forever to drain and same with the toilet.

Only thing I would like would be a shuttle from the airport which they do not have and my room, which was very clean was facing the street, it was a little noisy

Room was less than desirable. I felt the need to constantly disinfect during our stay. I even went out and purchased sheets to put on the bed. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Sink drained slow. Shower would go from hot to cold to hot. No fan in the shower. There was SO much moisture in the room, it weighed down my luggage belongings that I had to pay extra for a weighted bag when I checked it at the airport. AND I pre-paid the room prior to checkout BUT they charged me again less than 24 hours of checking in for all 3 nights. Luckily I was paying attention to notice. I would never stay at this place again and would not recommend it to others.

While the room decor was good and it was clean the structure badly needs updates. Sliding patio door was rusted and had holes in it stuffed with something and the bathroom needs updated as well. The grounds were very nice, breakfast area very nice. Maybe we were just in a room that hadnt been remodeled yet.

We enjoyed the location of this hotel. It was close to the airport but quiet and peaceful...not like staying in the busy city. It was a great location for the places we wanted to visit. We enjoyed the view from our balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were small touches that meant a lot such as a free bottle of water per guest each day. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast.

The room was dirty and the walls were paper thin. I could hear someone coughing constantly below me and they were smoking on the balcony most of the day. The hotel is very run down. They charged me a surcharge rate for two nights that I did not approve.

My stay was short 2 nights. Room was clean. Liked water dispenser in lobby and 24h available hot water/cofffee. Breakfast selection was much better than other places included breakfast. Scrambled eggs were fluffy! Good juice selection. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, offering bags to help me carry my food back to my room. Food from their bar was pretty good and reasonably priced. Good TV channel selection. Would stay again if I visit the area

The gm wouldn’t give me a bagel because bfast is over at 10, I was inside the breakfast section I was staring at the bagels right infront of her. “Breakfast is over at 10” was her response with a nasty attitude that I returned! I walked off and she started talking about me not aware that my sister was sitting at a table right there! She could shove that bagel where the sun don’t shine! I never went back to get breakfast! I’m going to start with breakfast. It has great reviews because they basically go around with a google paper with a barcode. If u leave a good review the workers get $10 smh. The eggs are watery the sausages were pink on the inside. Sausages and bacon drowning in oil. The only thing good is the pancakes. So if you are coming here for the food DONT! Bruce is the breakfast host. He’s great but they need to purchase him a new shirt he’s walking around with holes in his uniform shirt! This is supposed to be nonsmoking rooms with smoking sections, but apparently Everywhere you turned somebody was smoking outside of the designated area. Including in the rooms. To the point my sister walked in our room and said omg it smells like cigarettes in here that’s because we had the balcony door open. When I go outside somebody on top and on the left side we’re smoking on the balcony! This place also has people

The room was nice, with a big television. But this had to be the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel is right in the flight path of the airport. Also, the outside bar, with live music almost every night, was very loud, and they played until very late.

Excellent accommodations. Spacious room, comfortable bedding, big tv, courtesy drinking water and ice, very good buffet breakfast. The staff was courteous and very professional and helpful. A great stay. Will be back.

The downside: The location is also on a major six lane road. So be warned, light sleepers: the rooms on the highway side are very noisy due to the trucks, motorcycles and bumping bass in cars that can be heard all night long. I had a hard time sleeping even with ear plugs, and ended up putting a pillow over my head. It became even noisier around 6-7am with morning traffic. Having the fan/AC on constantly helped a tiny bit but that creates it's own noise that can be bothersome. In sum, it's a nice place to stay but if you need quiet and can afford the upcharge, be sure to book a water view room.

Our stay was very nice, Staffing was so friending (they did charge a 75.00 disposit fee). Breakfast was really nice. The planes from the airport can be kinda loud. Would stay again for sure. The tiki restaurant is kinda pricey, they dont have a price list for drinks.

I’m not one to leave a review but this particular Ramada was atrocious. The room smelled of mold or mildew. The cleanliness of the room was deplorable. Hard water stains on the shower head which takes weeks to accumulate. I had to clean myself. Bedding wasn’t adequately cleaned e.i. Hairs and stains. Have been sick since I stayed there Would like to request a refund or credit for this unfortunate situation.

Very busy street access, Scenic Harborview but not the ocean. Room is clean and convenient shower head does not have a hose which is inconvenient. Excellent breakfast alternates between pork sausages and patties with scrambled eggs, oatmeal waffles not the greatest, juice, coffee. $20 breakfast saves a few bucks.

Had an amazing 2 day stay,It is a renovated pre built facility So dont expect Brand new rooms Its waterfront is a marina not a beach And it is within 5miles from Sarasota airport. None of that bothered me at all .The staff was amazing we got a free Birthday bottle of champagne for my Fiancé's birthday! Jennifer the front desk clerk was so sweet and accommodating and the breakfast staff Bruce and Miriam were super polite and helpful . I would absolutely and have suggested this hotel to friends and family . They also have a mini arcade ,a tiki bar next to the pool and live Bands on Friday and Sat., There are places to dock if you're traveling by boat .ai absolutely enjoyed myself

If a good night sleep is what you are after, this property is not it. It sits right below where planes fly over to land. We were waken up all throughout the night from the noise of the plane.

Stayed in a King Waterfront room. Loud with airplanes especially in the morning, kids running up and down sidewalk in front of rooms. Tiki Bar plays live music until 11pm so if you’re planning on going to bed early, this might not be the spot for you. Otherwise a great budget option.

Parking around the rooms was ample on the side I was on, in room 516. One thing that needs attention is the greenery around the front of the hotel. Because of them it is difficult, and dangerous, getting out of the parking lot

Very clean and recently renovated rooms. Very good breakfast, Bruce, Melisa and Miriam were great there. Huge parking and nice bar. Gym room needs TLC, machines are not at there best. Overall I would come back, great location

The front desk person, Lynn called our room shortly after arriving to make sure everything was satisfactory. All of the staff were very nice.

Great stay, staff was friendly, rooms were nice and the view of the bay was excellent. Only downside is the music at night from the Resturant, and the noise from the planes going to the airport near by. I would stay again, the rest of the stay more than made up for that.

Bruce and Mariam did an excellent job with the breakfast and Lynn at the desk was great. The rooms were updated and clean. The maintenance staff fixed our problems with expedience and competence. Landscaping was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Great location

The hotel is very well located. Upon arrival, the lobby looked very decent, and the staff was very kind during check-in. Breakfast is included, with eggs, pancakes, bacon, and everything needed to start the day right. The room was adequate; we were two adults and one child, very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff never failed to do their job. I would definitely stay here again if needed.

We had a great stay. The employees were very helpful and polite, checking on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. The food at the tiki was very good and the live music was amazing. We stayed until the last song

It just wasnt awe inspiring. The photos make it seem so much nicer then it is. Getting a text a 8am asking when ill be checking out is just sort of pushy to me.

Mattress needed replaced and bathrooms are old and need upgraded. The front clerk gave us a price of 140 per night and we found it online for $102 per night. She didn’t even try to work with us.

The property was beautifully landscaped. We sat outside in the tiki area and enjoyed the quiet. The king room exceeded our expectations. We will be coming back here on our next vacation.

Sunday was amazing our breakfast nice people. But Monday not good the lady in charge not have aidea about nothing. And she is allergic to the mint and make me not comfortable so sad 😞 But I recommend anyone your hotel very good thanks.

The only downfall having is the $20 charge to credit cards that is not to be taken out but it comes out and then the struggles to get the reimbursement. Never notified that there is $20 charge for everytime use of card. Hopefully this gets taken care of wouldn't want a bad experience to change things.

Don’t get me wrong , for the price this is a great choice of where to stay. It is about 25 min from the main beaches like Bradenton, Lido etc However the staff at front desk is a bit rude, and the older man watching everyone like a hawk at breakfast also comes across as rude (breakfast is basic by the way) as he hovers over you to tell you what you are doing wrong when making waffles and generally we felt watched and felt guilty about even eating anything. Grounds and parking lot generally gross and dirty. But , as I mention for the price and in that area, it’s as good as it gets. :) Next time will go somewhere with more budget friendly options like Clearwater

I absolutely would NEVER stay here again. The King room was deceiving; it will not sleep 3 people as described. People live at this hotel and take over the pool; lots of drunk adults wandering around. We got moved into a new room to accommodate 3 people yet the hallway had no air, the carpet was dirty, our phone constantly rang with harassing calls from someone who doesn’t work there, people banged on our door, the shower handle was broken and the showerhead leaked bad leaving little to no water pressure. I paid $27 for VIRGIN pina coladas! Front desk was rude and not willing to refund any money as my initial reservation was already paid for. Stay away from this place unless you are a single person who just wants to drink by the pool.

Aircondition next to bed loud!!!! Breakfast is ok but breakfast sausage where dry out every day for 5 days,person who take care of entrence was very annoying he touch ne and my kids to just say they can't use by themselves breakfest area i didn't complain but be sure to let him know he can't touch people ... Pool i clean bymyself there was tons of hair in it. Everywhere sign no smoking but all people just smoke. AOnly good thing is cheap.

Easy access to the main road. Breakfast is wonderful with varieties hot and cold options. Close to the airport. Ample parking lot. Will be back for next visit to Sarasota :)

Liked the dock area/water in back of hotel. Did not like the traffic noise from close highway in front of hotel.

The property is close to most beaches and driving around wasn’t a problem. Loved the pool area and the bar close to the pool. Don’t want to go to the bar, you can order by the pool and they will bring it to you. Jesse was awesome at attending the pool area and making sure all our food and drinks were to our liking. She was just adorable to talk to and just a genuinely good hearted lady!

The room was OK; there was a dampness and an odor! The shower was obviously converted from a bathtub; the control was so low.

It was a great stay at the hotel, pool was great, poolside bar and restaurant was excellent. The only thing was the floors in the room. We spilled something on the floor and when we cleaned it up, the towel was black from the dirt on the floor. Looked like it has never been mopped. Had to walk with shoes on when inside the room.

This place is a hidden gem. Very clean and everyone was very nice. Great views and the restaurant was great. The band that was there was amazing, the drummer could play with any professional band as good as he was.

Amazing experience, great location

The room was spacious and clean! We had a great view of the marina, which made the stay enjoyable. We had a great breakfast and the staff was pleasant. The only thing I wasn't sure of, was that I was charged before we arrived and not after when we were checking out like we've done in the past. The woman who checked us in asked for a $75 deposit but couldn't explain why it was needed since they had already charged me for the night. Overall we had a good time.

Great location, outdoor restaurant w/ band is fun. Rooms are a bit old and dated but not surprised with the fair pricing for the rooms.

My room was very outdated - holes in the curtains and hairs in the bed. Rusty lamp near the door. Did not feel safe.

We came for a fishing trip and brought our boat and rented a dock from the Ramada. We had wonderful service from every staff member we encountered, the room was comfy, the AC was ice cold and the on site restaurant was excellent!

The staff is all friendly and over the top to care for visitors. A lot of little extras, excellent communication, best breakfast (which is included) with Bruce and Maria in the breakfast area to welcome and help. Room, grounds and pool are clean and safe

Breakfast was a great way to start the day and save money. Bruce and Merriam were top notch…attentive, friendly efficient. There was enough variety to have something different every morning of our week long stay. A waterfront room on the second floor is the way to go though the balcony door didn’t lock very well. Location was within 20 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go. Room showed its age in certain areas but clean as possible. The price was comparable to others the area and sometimes bettered. We stayed a week and different nights have different rates so book ahead of time would be my advice. We were super happy. The planes were a minor inconvenience for a short amount t of time but we knew it would be. The restaurant /bar food and drinks were amazing, the best of anywhere we went and it was nice to be able to walk back your room and not worry about driving. We’ll be back.

Very nice stay. Not the newest place but clean, safe and really nice breakfast. Boardwalk area is a nice option as well as restaurant/ Tiki Bar.

The pool & waterfront area were really pretty. The room was small but just what we needed. It was a 10 or so min ride to downtown attractions.

The service, however, was great. Nice, delightful people doing what they can. That was a highlight for sure. We had some small issues and the desk staff were very kind and helpful. The rest of the ground & housekeeping staff seemed welcoming and happy to help whenever we ran into them.

We booked it based off the many good reviews and ended up leaving early. We experienced This hotel is handing out cards for reviews. The room was small and the bathroom was dirty. Mold, black hairs and very outdated. Hard beds and loud people outside at all hours of the night. The only thing that made me give two stars was the pool and decent breakfast. We were very disappointed but glad the staff let us checkout early and find a new hotel.

Except for the bathrooms being a bit small especially for a big guy like my self , everything was excellent.

The property was just very old and outdated. The bed was bad, nothing was super clean. The breakfast was just bleh, nothing special about and it and it definitely wasn't good. Along the same lines as an old Super 8 motel.

Rude staff, loud, people kept slamming doors while trying to sleep, food was horrible & very expensive! Balcony room wasn’t a balcony room (more like a lanai). We had a first floor room. Website is very misleading. Bathroom too tiny & the door didn’t shut. We will not be back!

Excellent facilities, glad we paid for a water view room because hotel is located on a busy noisy road.

The pictures showed a resort type atmosphere with tiki huts in a Marina, but it didn’t show its in the flight path for Sarasota airport and every three minutes a jumbo jet Was landing and the next morning I woke to hear a jet taking off around 5 AM. If you do stay there, definitely stay on the water side because if you stay on the roadside, you’ll be up all night with the An hour noise from the traffic.Not all the rooms have a private balcony only a few.

The bed was not comfortable. Woke up with back pain every morning but it resolved as I moved around.

Room was very clean! Loved best the outdoor amenities, salt water pool, tiki bar and restaurant with music playing, dockside marina view, and the activities! Beautiful location for a sunset! Staff was very friendly. Would definitely return!
