Peggy at the front desk was rude and verbally combative. The checkin process was over 45 minutes. The room was nice but missing blankets, pillows, sheets, and towels. Noisy due to airport accross the street. Bed not comfortable and pillows old and flat.

Front dest lady checked in around 4pm July 27 Saturday When we check in the lady in the front Desk was helpful, but something bothers me when we get to our room key didn’t work so I went back downstairs but that is no big deal. She was helping another customer she handed them a bottle of water then I asked a new key she did gave me a new one when I asked if I can have a bottle of water cause she did not offer from the beginning when we check in she stated that the bottle of water is for the honest customer!!! I think that was rude! Treat customers equally !

If you are looking for a hotel to stay and have some relaxing and peaceful time this definitely is not the place for you!.

Great for the price. We were looking for something good and inexpensive since we'd only be sleeping there. The room was perfect for both part-time work and part-time fun, with nearby beaches, shopping, and dining areas. Nice apartment feel for the 7-day stay. Breakfast was okay, but appreciate the effort to provide options. Ample parking, but the side door was not working from the outside; had to always enter through the front entrance. The staircase near the room was not lit, so we avoided using it. Overall, great experience. Quick shout out for Peggy, she was amazing at checkin and throughout the stay.

The Homesuite2 was good but not great. The complimentary breakfast was a "B", but it was free. The ADA showerdoes not keep water from going on the floor. The HVAC goes between cool and heat when the thermastat is set to 75. I will not stay at this hotel again

My stay was great and the staff was really nice. I only had one complaint was of Peggy. When I checked in she had already charged my card that was file for the whole stay when I had already paid through Expedia. This prompted a fraud alert on my account which cancelled my card. This was big inconvenience because my trip in Florida was for a whole month and now I didn’t have my card. Peggy had to call her manager multiple times because she had made a huge mistake and she didn’t know how to correct it. She also seemed as if she didn’t know how to even use a computer. She also charged me twice for the incidental fee. Thankfully, they have Kayla that actually knows what she’s doing and reversed the charge. When I checked out, I accidentally forgot a necklace in my room and when I called to ask if anyone had found my necklace, I was told by Peggy that I would have to put a claim on some website. When I went to the website, the hotel wasn’t even listed on the website so I could make a claim. I called back the next day and I spoke with someone else and they took down my information and they said they would check with the staff. Peggy didn’t even bother to say she would check with the staff. I called back a few days later and Kayla said they found the necklace. I went to pick up my necklace and unfortunately Peggy was the front desk and I asked to speak with Kayla and she must have been in a bad mood because she didn’t greet me she just yelled out for Kayla to come out.

Friday night and Saturday nights were horrible! We had our ceiling trembling from the stampede in the room above ours to the point of the place shaking. At first I thought it was thunder and a storm outside. We finally had to threaten to call the police for then people upstairs stop stomping on the floor. At times they would stop, and start again and we would wake up startled. We asked management in the morning to please make sure we could sleep on Saturday night, to no avail. At 1 am the stampede started again. The girl in the front desk felt bad for us, and to my knowledge had to call the police to finally obtain silence. That took two hours + of our sleep, Room service: when we called the front desk the phone got routed to the Hilton garden inn, So, I finally had to go downstairs and ask for pillows and bedding to take upstairs for my daughter that was sleeping on the couch. We had already called twice the front desk about it. I will never ever go back to this place! No gluten free options for us celiacs by the way.

The room itself was clean but the hallways needed help. Don’t look up in the hall or the vibe will be tarnished. It’s very dusty and dirty. We also had to pay extra fees because we booked through a third party. The lady at the front said they “forgot” to collect the whole payment and charged us more when we got there. They also have a fire pit which I was excited to use at night, except it didn’t work. We were told that it had it been working for at least a year. The room was quiet and had all the necessities but that’s about it.

This hotel chain is my desired go to every single time, but this one did not come close to even being of quality that I would expect from a Home2 Suites. The TVs are tiny 36” or 42” & do not offer the ability for me to log into any of my own TV services, which is one of the things I seriously look forward to. The rooms and hallways smelled moldy. Breakfast was only available between 6 AM and 9 AM and even by 9 AM they were out of almost everything. I am sorry, but they seriously need to plan better.

The service wasn't what I'm used to when I stay at these facilities. Whenever I go on vacation, I choose this hotel because they have excellent service, but the person who checked us in was not at all professional and didn't provide the best service.

Rugs were dirty in hallway and so we're the mats. Waffle iron wasn't working properly. Could be cleaner.

Oh, and if you want a hotel with a fitness center, don’t bother because it’s closed. I saw a family walk in and demand a refund, saying they weren’t staying there. I wish I had that option but there were two large tournaments in town and no vacancies, and I don’t have family there I could stay with.

while everything was really good as far as my stay only real issue i had was with the sink in the bathroom as i found that it leaked under the sink area, and it would not drain properly if you took too long to wash your hands.

Rooms smelled like animals. Stains on the pull out bed. Tried to move to another hotel but was denied. After standing in true lobby for almost 2 hours trying to straighten things out, we cancelled and was told we would not get a refund because we checked in. You can’t know the room is disgusting without goin go in.

Oh, yes, we left a $5 tip, too.

The stay was great

A good choice for when flying out of SRQ. Good service with the shuttle bus to the airport. Great staff with a particular thanks to Akira for sorting out an early check in for us. Would certainly stay here again.

Cons: Windows not very insulated - get room on opposite side from airport (over looking pool) otherwise you hear everything, air conditioning in our room was not very adjustable, only one chair - nice to have at least 2 chairs and 2 stools for sitting at table.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Both gentlemen who took us too and from the airport via the hotel shuttle were GREAT!!

Very close to great restaurants and had good selection of different foods for breakfast. Staff was courteous and pleasant to talk to

Place was nice except it’s directly in front of Sarasota Intl Airport, and the jet noise is a bit much.

The staff at this hotel is always helpful and making sure all your needs are met. We needed two extra pillows and due to the late request and a full house they secured two from Hilton Garden next door

The room was very nice and large. Also, My room had two large holes in the walls. It looked like the TV had been mounted and fell off the wall or something similar. Those holes should have been repaired before a guest checked in. My room was also beside a loud radiator of some kind that I could hear at all times. I didn’t report these issues because they didn’t greatly interrupt my stay. Also, I asked the man at the front desk if the hotel prepared dinner and he said no. He failed to mention that the hotel across the parking lot sells dinner and gives discounts for guests of Home2Suites. I think that is something he should have mentioned when I asked about buying dinner.

Beautiful nice hotel

Everything was excellent except the pool wasn’t working any of the 4 days we were there so that was disappointing. Veronica from breakfast was amazing and Tracy was great also. Will definitely stay there again. Rooms were super clean. Staff was super friendly.

The door to the toilet did not lock. He always went to ask for towels. Only 4 towels were given for 6 people. Cleaned only 1 time in 8 days. Not recommended this hotel.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The real negative is when staying in a room nearest to the road, you hear just about every loud vehicle that passes. We were woken several times throughout our stay by various loud motorcycles/cars. I’m sure not much can be done about that, but still worth mentioning

The room was spacious, but had only one comfortable chair, I know most hotels only have one, but if my husband and I wanted to eat a meal at the table, we only had one chair. The bed was comfortable and my request for extra pillows was taken care of immediately. The handicap bathroom was great, lots of bars to hold on to. We were on the front of the hotel and the traffic bothered us all night and someone on the floor above us, not your fault, stomped around all night the second night we were there, but I have booked another stay there because of the size of the rooms and the convenience of being close to my family.

The hotel was clean but the hallways had a musty smell from lack of efficient A/C. Very convenient to the airport. Would stay here again.

Check in was awful, had requested early check in 2 times previous to arriving, did not happen and was spoken to and treated rudely. Had BUGS in our room. Did not have our room cleaned for the 3 nights or 4 days we were there. Did not have a restaurant or bar on site, and the “pantry” that was offered was very minimal. Not at all up to Hilton standards

This was our first time at a Home2Suites by Hilton, and we absolutely loved it. The rooms were cute and modern. The staff was always friendly and always gave us the towels we asked for, or extra sheets. Breakfast was good. That was a plus. The only thing we disliked was the bathroom door was such a pain to open, we always got locked in and had to leave a spoon in the bathroom to get the kids out when they would go in. Other wise we loved the whole place, and staff. The swimming pool was clean and fun! Such a great place definitely will recommend to anyone who is visiting in Sarasota.

I think the laundry facility could be improved. More machines. Hotel was full @ time of stay & machines were being used at all times. If you had stackable machines you could accommodate more guests @ the same time.

Very convenient to the airport yet we didn't hear any noise from the planes taking off. We did hear some regular traffic noise but it was minimal.

Good location. Bad customer service. Rooms are not clean and repairs need to be done as well as insect (cocrouches) in the room.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t available baby cribs for my two toddlers. We stayed there three nights and I checked every day at the front desk for them. None were available! The laundry washing machines smelled bad. The dryers didn’t dry my clothes fully. The breakfast time-the staff didn’t put new items in once they ran out. I asked the male associate to fill the orange juice as it ran out, he never did. Yogurt ran out, cereal ran out at 6:30 am and they didn’t fill. The hotel could be cleaner, the carpet had big dark stains all over the place.

Breakfast had a lot of options. A lot of storage for clothes and essentials. Just overall a great place to stay.

The sofa bed was not put together. I could not sit on it because the bed part was up in the air. Glad I only had one night here and left very early the next morning. I chose this hotel for the free shuttle service to the airport. I had to schedule an Uber because the shuttle service started at 7 am. I needed to leave earlier. This should have been made clear on the reservations

Elevators clean. Room was large with 2 beds, small kitchen and a sofa bed. Smelled clean. Only thing was carpet made my feet a little dirty. Need to steam clean carpet. No maid service. Had to exchange out our own towels and garbage. We only stayed 2 nights, they advised us that when we checked in. Maybe if we stayed more they would have. Make our own waffles, and a nice assortment of breakfast items. Only hot items were pre-made sandwiches that you need to heat up.

Close to Airport

The staff was very friendly but I wont be staying again the price for what you get is very sub standard. On my second stay on a Saturday night room was over 500 but my bed was slightly broken and made a sound when you moved around on it. Bathroom doors didn’t lock properly and if you are at a room near the road look out for noise all night.

Rooms were spacious. Carpets throughout the building needed cleaning. Breakfast was good but lacked staff to keep items replenished. In addition to our pool, we were able to use the pool at the adjacent Hilton Garden. Having just come from the Home 2 Suites in Naples, this was a bit of a disappointment.

Our stay was precipitated by our flight being canceled. So I was not looking forward to it at all. But I was so pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed the staff was delightful and they really help to make a difficult situation much more bearable.

This property is right on a busy road and was finally able to fall asleep after midnight until about 5 am when traffic started to be heavy again. Bring ear plugs.

Room was clean and was convenient to everything

The hotel is great, the area it's in is not. We didn't know but it's a bad area of town and its very loud. My wife couldn't sleep due to road noise, we expected the planes to be loud but the cars were worse.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful free morning breakfast from 6-9 am! Very affordable, comfortable, and great with kids.

Everyone asked about if you wanted or needed

The staff is exceptional .. the manager and all of his cleaning crew, front desk and the wonderful Briana who went out of her way to give us very personal assistance.

It was awesome, the staff was wonderful we got there very early took a chance and they had a room ready for us. Everyone was extremely accommodating the breakfast buffet in the morning was fantastic

This property far exceeded our expectations. We needed a long term stay as we are doing a major home renovation in Sarasota. Our accommodations included in the suite was a complete kitchen with dishwasher, daily maid service, and a full breakfast. The staff was exceptional.

Everyone was extremely nice. We had four children with us and the staff was patient with them. We requested towels a lot because there were six of us. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. We went to the beach and they never complained about the sand we carried in with us. The staff asked how our day was every time we went into the hotel. The rooms were clean but there were ants in the kitchen area. Overall we had a great time!

The staff was ver nice and and complimentary. They were very attentive to our needs. We will definitely return to this hotel in the near future.

Staff was super nice. Property looked pretty new. Plenty of parking. Well stocked rooms...even give you a hot plate if you ask.Breakfast was so so. Biggest negative all towels smelled like cigarette butts. We were there about a week and towels smelled bad whole time. Bathroom door lock was broken. Decent pool.

We liked the aesthetics of the hotel and the pool area was nice. The room size was also great for a family of four. Our room was not what we requested. The manager was unable to change our room, but gave us a few drinks. I was also very disappointed in the free breakfast. Hotels continue to use COVID as an excuse. A bagel, yogurt, two hard boiled eggs, and a muffin is nothing that brings me back.

Overall a good trip. There was a lot of miscommunication woth the housekeeping staff as we did want the room cleaned daily. Also, there were people with u-hauls, trailers, boats and jet skis that were hogging up multiple parking spaces that forced us to park at the hotel next door which seemed unfair. The front desk staff was amazing and super nice. The beds we so comfortable and the rooms were a great size. I would stay here again.

It was perfect except, parking hard to find at night when we first got there other than that, perfect
