The hotel was great! The pool was awesome and the children loved it! The restaurant /bar was not so great. They were rude and reluctant to serve drinks or food 30 minutes prior to closing. I'm sure the restaurant is independent, but when it's in a hotel like that, I feel like they should be more accommodating to the guests.

I appreciated the water pressure and the buildings forward appearance in being echo freindly It wasn't that I didn't like it, but if there was one critique is that I wished the elevators did not need a keycard to operate. The room was nice, the bed and bedding were comfortable. The room amenities, like the coffee machine, they type of coffee, the soaps and such were not that great. The restaurant for breakfast was very good.

Come to Seattle quite a bit and this is the first time staying at the Hyatt on Olive- it will not be our last! The service was excellent and came off effortless- we had an active 2 year old in our party and everyone was very kind and supportive. The pool/sauna/hot tub offerings were spa like without going to the spa that was also available- this is hotel that you could honestly just check in and not go anywhere else! Superb service delivered well .

There was no breakfast offered. you had to purchase from connected restaurants or elsewhere. we chose to go elsewhere as the options at hotel were very limited. Did not use hot tub. the room was clean. odd about the lights and not being told at check in about it was rough.

My cruise ended at 7:30 a.m. Thought I’d be homeless til check in. Was so happy a room was ready at a hotel so conveniently located in downtown Seattle within walking distance of a lot of attractions. Customer service was excellent and so friendly. Would definitely recommend Hyatt hotels!

Came for Emerald city comic con- I was pleasantly surprised how kind and accommodating all the staff was given the hoards of cosplayers with waaaaay too much luggage. Their luggage cart management on Sunday check out was particularly impressive.

We mainly stayed there for heated pool and hot tub. The pool was amazing perfect heat - my kids had a blast! Rooms were clean and cozy and the room service/guest services was great! Would recommend to anyone!

Alex and Jake in Tidal were amazing. All of the staff in Tidal were amazing and treated us well. They were friendly and gave us a lot of insight on where to travel too.

The customer service was great from the staff, absolutely loved the amenities with the pool, hot tub, and steam room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Seattle.

Hotel was in great shape, and the staff was great. Big disappointment that the restaurant was closed for no reason. Advance notice would have been great.

My husband and I love staying here! Not only is it a very clean, it also has great amenities. Pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Walkable to pike place market, coffee shops, and places to eat. My only complaint is $65 a night to park at the hotel. Other than that, wonderful hotel!

The coffee shop in the lobby was amazing and the staffs kindness made my daughters day shine! Overall a great experience and we will stay there again!

Front desk was great, valet parking attendants went above and beyond! Room service was disappointing, it was 15 mins after the “scheduled” time but the order was missing items, silverware, and napkins. The guy who brought our food to the room was unfriendly and walked away before I could check the order. When I tried to call the front desk and the room service line the phone system didn’t allow me to speak to a person, just kept reverting me to the online ordering but can’t request anything or correction online.

We contacted the hotel before booking the hotel. And asking about pool temperature and use. They told use the the pool is heated. And I booked the hotel because of the pool to enjoy the cold winter. When came to the hotel the pool didnt worked and no one had the courtesy to let us know that. So we check out and got a permission from the hotel manager to move to different hotel that has a pool.my kids were really frustrated. And that cost me much more to move to different hotel.

There was a space from the bottom of the door to the floor where light would break through and sound. Walls are pretty thin. We can hear the other guests. There was a smell from the ventilation system that smelt like something was burning. And the rooms were pretty hot and we cannot adjust the thermostat lower to what we wanted. Other than that, staff was very courteous and the place was very clean

The room was super cold and I couldn't adjust the temp. The stopper in the bath tub was broke and the website/voice message said in room meal delivery qas available. I called amd orderee and received a call 45 minutes later telling me the restaurant was closed that day. I spent a lot of money as a reprieve before my disabled hisband returned home from Harborview after brain cancer surgery. I spent $500 to get better service and food from the hospital

It was nice. But didn’t like the parking situation and that you had to pay the vallet 60$ in order to park there… loved the steam and sauna, but the downfall was that it was not coed and it was in individual bathrooms.

Only bad thing i could say, which really is not a big deal, is that we had 2 diff rooms for 2 diff nights and each time i had to call for some robes for my wife that was suppose to be in the rooms.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was large, easy with a baby. They were very accommodating to bring anything to our room and making sure our needs were met. I highly recommend this hotel as it’s especially great for families. The location is also handy and walkable to different places.

I give this hotel a 7-3 because the horrible automatic AC settings. It gets hot in the room and it wakes you up numerous times at night so you don’t get a good nights sleep. You have to keep getting up to adjust it just to have to do this again a few hours later. Other than that the staff were amazing, the entire hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. I would stay here again if they let you have controversy the ac.

We had a blast at this hotel. We only stayed for one night, however; the stay was great. Room was not ready when we arrived, but we were offered an upgrade. Bedding was not as comfortable as we would've hoped but staff was extremely friendly. The gym at this hotel is excellent, one of the best out there. The free yoga class was amazing and pool/hot tub was fun. Next time in Seattle, we will be coming to stay here again.

Definitely a good stay. Our only complaint is how much they charge for parking. $60 per night is ridiculous. We parked elsewhere. The rooms aren’t fancy, but clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. Quiet room and very spacious.

The breakfast was deliciou, and the pool and hot tub were perfect temperature.

4 minute walk to the train line that connects other areas of the city to make exploring so convenient! It’s the same train that goes to and from the Seatac Airport A 12 minute walk to Pike Place Market area!

The room, pool, hot tub, steam room, bagel restaurant and check-in/check-out were great! The only thing that disappointed us was that we tried to purchase a movie and it said we had to check with service. It took over an hour for them to fix the problem. Although, very tired due to the wait, I ended up watching the movie, but my son fell asleep. I feel that the hotel should have covered that expense.

Mold in the room, terrible staff, vehicle broken in to, window busted out. Fire alarms in the middle of the night that was just again someone in the parking garage that shouldn't be there. I was told i was getting my money back but that hasn't happened yet.

Only complaint was the elevator was broken, but that's not their fault.

Everything was amazing! Except for the shower design gets too drafty and cold especially with a small shower head.

The room and staff were great. The elevators were pure hell. Every elevator took forever to get to you and then when it did, it was already full. This was at all hours, not just high traffic time. During high traffic time people were standing in the lobby waiting for elevators for almost 20 minutes.

Very happy with our stay. Room was comfortable. Service was prompt and courteous. Pool and fitness facilities were excellent. Only note would be that the cafe service was very slow, 15-20min just for drip coffee. Would have been helpful to have additional staff on what appeared to be a very busy weekend.

Hotel is conveniently located

The breakfast is not complimentary but the bagel shop in the lobby had excellent food and coffee. The hot tub is a good size and the pool is warm, everything was clean. There was always someone to greet you in the lobby.

However, what happened at the swimming and jacuzzi area after the marathon turned what could’ve been a perfect stay into a deeply disappointing one. After finishing the race, I headed down to the jacuzzi to relax sore muscles, something I was genuinely looking forward to. Instead, I ended up cutting my foot on a piece of glass that was inside the jacuzzi. I even found and removed the piece myself, bringing it straight to the front desk. Unfortunately, the response I received was far from reassuring. I was met only with a surprised, “Oh no,” followed by “we’ll notify the pool manager.” No first aid, no concern for whether I was okay, no apology, nothing. For a hotel of this level, I expected a more proactive and caring response, not just for me, but for the safety of the next guest using those facilities. I share this not out of negativity, but because I truly believe Hyatt at Olive 8 has the potential to deliver an exceptional experience every time. The stay should have been five stars. I genuinely hope the hotel takes this seriously and improves staff awareness and response protocol for incidents like this in the future. Guest safety must always come first.

We got ENGAGED!!! The hotel surprised us with rose petals, cheese and chocolate, and a sparkling toast in our suite! We were welcomed with smiles everytime we came back from exploring Seattle, but also left to ourselves when we wanted quiet time. Housekeeping was fantastic since we stayed for a whole week! We truly did not want to leave. Best week and stay we’ve ever had

Parking at the hotel is very costly however we were able to use the SpotHero website and park across the hotel for half the price Highly recommend it

Room service was terrible i asked for bath robe as it should be 2 in first place but there was 1 secondly i had to wait for 45 min for 2 nd bath robe which was delivered after i left the room for pool.

A realy nice, well-located in downtown Seattle. It was clean, check in and out was fast and efficient. Valley parking was also fast and convenient. We had a great stay!

This was a family trip to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a weekend in Seattle. The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. The downside was a foul smell that upon entering the room

I wish they had a area where you could just grab what you need.. like bathroom stuff.. when i ask for more bathroom things and coffee they didn't bright enough creamer... 😒 and the worst part of it, they charge 15$ for a microwave. That's the 1st time hearing that.. but the steam room, sauna, pool and hot tub was really nice..and the rooms was long and comfortable... oh buy yourself some pillows.. their pillows are plastic. Very uncomfortable.

Staff was efficient but pretty low energy. I feel sorry for them having to deal with outside problems related to drug users and disorderly conduct. No police presence ever seen and people would be laying across sidewalks close by for hours. Clearly not hotel staffing fault but hotel leadership needs to make city officials be accountable for this mess in order to run a safe and inviting business for visitors and staff. I’d recommend Buddy system if staying at this hotel and never walk alone especially before dawn or after dusk. Valet was easy and quick, room check in was 4 pm on the dot and we were 15 minutes early so we were made to wait, irony was no bar or restaurant service available until 4pm as well so was kind of awkward waiting with 15-20 other people hanging in the lobby area. Average place. Be safe on the streets.

At 2.30 am so much noise of moving tables and chairs around for nearly 1 hour I would not recommend this hotel

I stayed here for a convention. it was close by, easy to find. the room was clean and simple. nothing elegant or fancy about it. it is on the spendy side, especially with the daily valet parking price added. 20 minutes streight shot to the pier. staff were kind and very helpful.

I have been staying at some really swanky hotels lately, some with free breakfast, some without, some with a full fridge, some with a jacuzzi, some without. What none of these hotels had that Hyatt at Olive 8 had was a HUGE jacuzzi, but also the best TV/internet yet. Googlecast, a Guide, multiple device connections. Everything also great, mini fridge, good coffee, beyond helpful staff, comfy bed, great shower. I was very happy with my stay here.

We had a great breakfast at your Tidal restaurant, but we splurged and had an unforgettable dining experience just a block up 8th at Ruth’s Chris Steaks, and that was after catching the link to TMobile Park for a baseball game. We love Seattle! Just so fun! Good exercise too.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Seattle. Second time to stay at this hotel for me. Executive suite is spacious with wonderful sunset views of the skyline. Hotel staff were courteous. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We arrived early in the day as we had just gotten off a cruise ship and were pleased to find that they had a room for us ready. They building and room are nice and the area was walkable.

I have stayed at the Hyatt Olive 8 several times and always had a fantastic and comfortable stay. It is so convenient to everything I need.

The staff were professional, friendly and courteous. They greet you with a smile upon entry. The rooms are spacious; the bed was super comfortable; great amenities; the restroom was beautiful and clean with excellent water pressure. The hotel is in a convenient walkable location to several tourist sites. I will definitely stay here again.

We also loved the Noon checkout, it made for a relaxing Sunday morning enjoying the pool, hot tub, and sauna. We will definitely be back.

Parking in garage is expensive

Plenty of space. Very clean. Good layout. Hot or cold air does not blow directly on you. Good restaurants near by.

The bed was very comfortable and you could set the air conditioner as low as 66 degrees and the room would be nice and cool.

Great clean rooms and hotel, very friendly staff

From check in to check out, everything was smooth, beautiful and clean. The staff working here are extremely nice and helpful. We got here way earlier than anticipated and really appreciated that they had a room ready for us after hours of travel. Love the refillable water stations. Great location, felt safe. Restaurant on site is beautiful and the staff was amazing as well (we only had drinks, but the menu looks awesome)! Rooms were very clean, quiet, updated and the bed was very comfortable! They even offer a shuttle to the cruise port. Great stay, and great price, will be back for sure.

The pool and sauna/steam room services were a bonus!

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed after disembarking a cruise and we were pleasantly surprised with our rooms being ready early. Staff were amazing. Highly recommend!

By judging the presence of the air purifier. The hotel knew there's a problem with an AC system in this room, but they still put this room in service, never mind it's a 4-star hotel. It's completely not acceptable and we are very disappointed. For the hotel who's reading this review, we stayed in room 461 for one night.

The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. The location is very accessible to most places in downtown.

Hotel lacked basic facilities such as water in reception area . The gym water containers were also empty. Pretty basic for the prices charged.

The Seattle Aquarium is within reasonable walking distance of the hotel. It was a 30-minute walk to Lumen Stadium and a 7-minute walk to stores. Pool and sauna are amazing they are kept clean at all times.

This is a great hotel - beds are the best - trust me I’ve tried a few. Booking in was easy and we did the valet parking, not cheap but worth it - stress free. Close to everything - loved the trip

Location was 5/5. The pool, locker rooms and gym were wonderful. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Unfortunately, we found the barn door for the bathroom to be a deal breaker. I would not stay here again because of that. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and never had a barn door - just not enough privacy, especially if you are staying with friends. Everyone in our group agreed that it was quite uncomfortable and we would have liked to know ahead of time that there was not a proper door for the bathroom. There is a bagel shop downstairs but it would be a nice amenity to have a tea and coffee station in the lobby like many other hotels offer.

Overall, the stay was very positive and comfortable. The room was spacious enough for my family of 4, beds were comfortable, and they had a free pack n play for my son which was great. It was also very clean & eco friendly in the entire hotel which was nice to see. I would have loved if breakfast could have been included as that's usually what we look for in hotels, but we chose this hotel since it was close to the pier & we were going on a cruise. They have a bagel/coffee place in the lobby and a fancier restaurant that did not seem as kid friendly, but we did okay with it. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We ended up renting a car on this trip because we had two kids who needed car seats, but they do have transportation available to the ships area if needed for guests which was great to have.
