Interesting old building. Seemed to be well maintained. Walk-in closet was twice the size of the bathroom. I've had bigger showers on cruise ships. Toilet & vanity badly configured which wasted what little space there was. Single chair was not comfortable.

Spacious accommodation. Very clean. Really comfortable bed. Not modern but everything functioned well. Brilliant location, close to Pike Place and seafront. Had problem with TV, someone arrived within 5 minutes to correct it. As the café adjacent to the hotel was being renovated and no other facilities for drinks late evening, I would have appreciated a kettle on room to make a drink.

High ceilings in the rooms…(an old building)…quirky would be an apt description. Easy walking access to Pikes market & down to waterfront. No A/C ….but they do highlight that….fine in May, but might be a challenge in July/August.

I liked that it was closed to the water and walking there I could see a nice view of seattle. The room was normal. It was not super cheap and they did not offer breakfast. Not even instant coffee in the room. And it didnt seem like a safe place in downtonw.

Location was convenient to the market and our cruise ship pier. Service was friendly and hotel ( and the elevator) have maintained their unique and historic feel It’s nothing the hotel can control, but there were quite a few people outside of the hotel in the adjacent parking lot that were doing drugs and flailing about

We had a very comfortable stay at the Moore. The decor is a bit tired, and we rented two rooms, at the same price, but one was nicer than the other. The showers aren’t great. But on the whole, this was a very reasonably priced hotel and the service was exemplary. Plus the attached restaurants are fantastic!

Check in took longer than I had hoped. I had a reservation, but got a message from hotels.com saying I canceled it. The front desk said my reservation was good, but insisted on me finding the email and source of email. When she saw it was from hotels.com and not Expedia, she was confused, which took even more time from check in. If my reservation was already in the books as valid, I’m not sure why I would need to spend more time trying to locate all the emails I had re this reservation to find a confirmation number. After being stuck in traffic, I was just ready to get settled in my room. My advice, if you get an email from hotels.com stating you cancelled your reservation, just call the hotel and confirm your reservation is still set, but don’t mention any email or you’ll be delayed at check in.

As basic a Hotel as we have stayed in. Amenities zero for older people the bathroom was not overly safe. I get the historical nature of the aged building. However that doesn't make it the only reason to stay there. Web photo's bit hard to give the real picture of what your getting for your money. It was not cheap. Practically for what you got. A small room with a bed.

I stayed here before and after a cruise. Excellent location-an easy walk to Pier 66 but used shuttle suggested by hotel staff. Hotel is also close to dining and tourist stuff as well as transit.Staff was very helpful. Interesting hotel-an old building with a certain understated elegance and its obvious that improvements are being made. A box of kleenix tissues would be a helpful addition. I would definitely stay here again when in Seattle.

Staff not friendly . Heat was broken and stuck on . So hot in our room . Heat controlled from a different building according to the lady at the desk , nothing they could do. She suggested opening the window. 1 very small elevator had to wait a long time to use it as there was a long lineup for it . The agent said there was no stairs from the lobby . They were locked and could only be used to come into lobby . I would never stay there again even if it was free.

This is a strange hotel to review - once a grand building, now very tired. The room we had was spacious but it took 5 mins to get in and out as the key was temperamental. I had to show ladies a few doors down how to operate theirs, too (so not just us). One socket in the whole room. The tiny reception wasn't manned very often. The area outside was ropey (didn't feel safe unless accompanied) but I have to say, the location of the hotel is great for visiting Pikes Market etc.

The Moore is very convenient to downtown Seattle and fairly priced for that asset alone. The rooms and building are definitely dated but I liked the original architecture and clawfoot tub. The front desk staff were kind and held my bags for me while I explored the city prior to my flight. The room was comfortable. It’s an old hotel but in decent shape. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We asked for a room with a street view and we got a view. From about 10 pm - 5 am the people that “ live” on the streets come alive and very “ active “ . The area was safe during the day but in the morning you can see broken bottles, used needles and trash from what was left afterwords. There is a drug needle drop spot a half a block over , which is basically someone dropping off a pile of wrapped needles on the ground.

This hotel was built in 1907 & it shows its age. While my room was clean & the bed was comfortable, the room was quite small with dated furniture that was in good repair. The hallways were dark & poorly lit. In their online description, I saw that they did not have air conditioning & since my stay was in October, I did not see that as an issue. What they did not say in their online description is that, depending on where your room is in the building, the room will have radiator heat that only comes on at certain times of the day/evening. A space heater & extra blankets were available from the front desk. I was traveling alone & wanted to have inexpensive accommodations & this hotel fit that need. It is within 2 - 3 blocks of Pike Market which was great. The vending machine was poorly stocked & the vending machine that sold drinks ONLY sold bottled water which I thought was very odd. The elevator is quite small - again, a sign of the age of the building. I have no idea how many people were staying at the hotel during my stay but I can tell you that I encountered very, very few in the hallways. The front staff I encountered were helpful. They work very closely with one cab company & cab service was readily available when I needed it. All in all, it served my purpose but I highly doubt I will stay there again.

One of the front desk staff had a bit of a different sense of humour/attitude than what I'm used to from others in the hospitality industry and I would say if one is easily offended, it could be an issue. For me it wasn't an issue, it just caught me off guard. I just felt maybe they were a bit almost defensive when I asked certain questions, for example getting a 2nd key for the room (which they don't have by the way). It was honestly a lovely stay in this older building, beds were comfy, room & bathroom were clean. The clawfoot tub was glorious, my friend had a bath and loved it.

This hotel was really clean. We stayed two different times, once at the beginning of our vacation, and then again before getting on the plane to go home. We had two different rooms. One appeared more updates than the other. It is an older hotel, so I had expected it to not be modern, but I did think it could use a face lift. (Even just little touches with paint and bedding would go a long way) but the second time, our room was more updated, so it seems they are working on that. But things were CLEAN and that is what mattered to me.

I called the front desk and asked them to turn it off and they said they can’t because it’s on a 90 minute cycle after trying to put both fans full force on the heat register it did nothing. We’re literally wiping the sweat from our foreheads, we got put into another room It was slightly better, but very uncomfortable and way too hot. Choose this hotel primarily for price and 2nd for its location. Hotel is centrally located, and 5 min walk from Pike Place. Room was clean, bed was a little soft and the bathroom was functional. The main issue was the lack of heat and after asking multiple times the staff were able to provide extra blankets and a space heater. The other inconvenience was only one physical key. So, if two people wanted to do something they would have to coordinate room key access or leave it at front desk.

No microwaves in the room which makes it so you can’t reheat leftovers. The WiFi was spotty at best. It’s right in the heart of downtown so it was nice in that respect. Two blocks away from the waterfront as well. It’s a no frills spot if you want to save some money but still be in the middle of the city. It’s definitely loud at night with cars, sirens, and nightlife, but it didn’t bother me too much. My biggest gripe is the poor quality WIFI. Would I come back? Probably not. But if you just need a decent place to crash with a shower, that’s kinda what it is. Average.

Family owned hotel great rooms really clean but no coffee facilities in rooms or common area. I would definitely stay here again. Staff were very friendly.

Our room was like the barrick my husband stayed at in the army. Very simple with a very old bed.

The rooms to use actual keys and the locks are a little fiddly. The shower is a converted bath but with no bath taps. So it offers the inconvenience of a bath to deliver a shower with low water pressure. But for all that the hotel is clean, comfortable, charming and just a step away from Pike’s Place market. The staff are polite and friendly. Overall, it’s a charming experience and good value.

The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only recommendation is to add a coffee machine in the room or a coffee station down stairs.

Staff was incredible. Location is great. Live theater next door. Within easy walking distance of the Pike Place Market. Hotel warned us they had no AC, but October in Seattle? It's not needed. Room did have in-room fans to circulate air. I had an excellent stay.
