    N/A I am not someone who leaves reviews. In fact, this is the first negative review I have ever written. However, my experience at La Quinta in Sevierville was so unbelievably bad that I feel obligated to warn others before they make the same mistake my girlfriend and I did. The first red flag appeared before we even walked inside. The parking lot was practically empty, which immediately made me uneasy. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. When we entered the hotel, we saw only one employee during our entire stay—a very young woman working alone. We checked in, paid for our room, and headed upstairs expecting a standard hotel experience. What we found instead was something straight out of a nightmare. The room was filthy. The bed sheets didn’t even properly cover the mattress, exposing large stains on the corners. There were hairs left behind from previous guests, making it obvious the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Even worse, we found clothing that did not belong to us—including socks and underwear left behind by previous occupants. At that point, any confidence we had in the cleanliness of the room was completely gone. Because I knew nobody would believe conditions were actually this bad, I immediately took photos of everything. The stains, the exposed mattress, the hair, and the clothing left behind by previous guests are all documented in the pictures attached to this review. We were so disgusted that we immediately left the room and went back downstairs. We politely requested a refund and were informed that because we had booked through Booking.com, the hotel could not process one directly. While disappointed, I understood that policy and decided to pursue the matter through the booking platform. Unfortunately, that was not the end of the nightmare. Several days later, after my trip had ended, I contacted Booking.com to request a refund.

    Decent sized rooms and had indoor pool Our room wasn’t clean to my expectations. My 1 year old almost touched a used condom that was on the ground in our room. There were spills still on the kitchenette floor in the hospitality suite. Felt like I couldn’t let my toddler walk around anymore after seeing the room. Good thing it was just two nights I had to push through

    Mattress was dipped on one side and uncomfortable. Room was spacious, but bathroom was small. Wi-Fi was out the first day we were there, finally available the next day. Hot breakfast food was cold, luckily there was a microwave. There was no yogurt, so I asked the lady at the front desk and she said they were out and would have to order more. About 30 minutes later I walked by and there was yogurt in the fridge.

    There is no "spa" or hot tub as claimed in the advertisement. Same breakfast every day... literally we got yesterdays old dry stale biscuits. Staff was not well informed and had to call someone to get answers to even simple questions like "where is the spa?" "Where is the laundry room?" Cleaning windows would help this place a lot. The breakfast area was well kept and clean. It's worn but fairly clean. I've seen worse for the price. The most important was it was close to hwy 40 so it was convenient for all we needed to do without having to go through the traffic in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

    Roach crawling in the bathroom as soon as we walked in. The remote was sticky. There was a kids’ sneaker (not ours) under the bathroom vanity. I question the effort being put into actually cleaning the rooms. There were definitely efforts to make the place more updated, but the work looked a little shoddy. Price was decent though

    Disappointed things: No Hot tub as posted. The indoor pool is heated and has an area that blows bubbles. Kids are jumping and splashing in the pool which is fine, but it’s hard to relax in the “spa pool”. Wanted a Hot Tub to relax in. Also room was very loud, road noise was present and didn’t slow down at night. Room had black out curtains but was still bright as day. Lots of lights in the parking lot and kept the whole room lit up. Booked the room bc it was pet friendly and had a hot tub. Great with pets but probably won’t be back.

    When we were there our whole stay they didn't have hot water . We were told we would get reimbursed for our stay. Well it's 3 weeks since our stay and no reimbursement, and staff at hotel says they are still working on it. I don't believe its coming. This is usually our go to hotel when we come to town, but we will think twice about staying here again. As they don't honor what they say they are going to do.

    Horrible one night stay. When we arrived they had run out of room keys and check in took over an hour. We, along with three other groups, eventually had to be let into our room by staff and were unable to both leave at the same time because we would be locked out. The room and elevators were dirty. Overall very bad experience, I would not recommend staying here. There are plenty of other places in the area at a similar price point.

    This property has gone downhill over the past couple of years. Used to be our go to when we were in town at the convention center but that will change going forward. The overall condition has gone down. There was no hot water our entire weekend and going on for a week as I understand it.

    The rest room in the lobby needed cleaning we got in on Thursday afternoon and in the men’s room. The seat had poo on it. And was still there on Saturday. Our first room faced the parking lot we had asked to have a room where we could see mountains and was able to catch a glimpse. Although the front desk acted like she did not want to switch.

    The staff were the two ladies that I saw one when we checked in and one when we checked out, but they could’ve been a little more friendlier the bathrooms oh, they could have redid the tub, but then it was OK. That was my first time being in Sevierville and if I would’ve known other hotels was on the stretch closer to where I was going, I would have booked there

    It was a nice place with an interesting indoor hot tub. The room was clean and large. Unfortunately both elevators were dirty, the soda machines were sold out, and the soap and shampoo dispensers on the shower were empty. For the price, those things should have been better attended to. But it was a good experience overall.

    Staff were incredible and very nice. Our room was not so great. There was what looked like black mold on the ceiling to the left of the window. There were two little red stains on our cover. The walls were dirty like leftover food or something from a spill. We usually stay here twice a year for dance competitions but unfortunately this will be our last stay. You could tell there was water damage to the ceiling causing what looked like black mold. We were on the 4th floor so it was the top floor.

    The beds are SO comfortable. We are doing a 15 days cross country roadtrip and these were the most comfy beds we’ve had. The shower water is hot which is a nice surprise. Most hotels only have Luke warm. The water pressure is really good.

    Housekeeping came in once just to get dirty towels and bath rags. Didn't clean the room, change sheets or make the bed. Ask for extra bathrags and it seem to be an issue. When we got into the room there was dishes left in the dishwasher from previous people. Breakfast was the samething sausage, eggs, gravy and biscuits. I ask one morning about bagels an was told they was out. The communication needs to IMPROVE with the manager. Some of the staff was friendly and nice and there was a few that was rude and didn't really know how to answer the question or what to do. I would just like for my money back that they double charged me for.

    Breakfast wasn't the best. Watery eggs; hard biscuits. Inside spa/pool was cold and dirty. Stayed three nights and took two days to get shampoo and body wash refilled. One lamp did not work and was never fixed after reporting. There was feces on the bedsheets. Management wasn't cooperative in the least bit. Had to contact corporate headquarters and in retaliation for contacting corporate we were charged $100 for alleged smoking in the room. We did not smoke at all in the room or hotel. ALWAYS went outside. Recommend never staying here. Travel a lot and have never been treated like were at this hotel.

    Manager was very friendly; staff was also nice. Really enjoyed indoor pool and hot tub; however, the hot tub is part of the pool at one end, this is hard to identify unless you happen to switch the "unlabeled" switch next to the broken timer. There are no signs identifying that a hot tub is there.

    This was an unexpected stay to finish off a longer stay. I wish we had started here to begin with. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was great. After staying in a different hotel for a week before we slept great here. Location was good too!

    The WiFi was good the ac did not work in my room so I insisted on getting a room that has ac. Then they rented it out to another couple. The place is run down and clearly not standard for la Quinta which I stay at 30+ times a year. I assume next time I come by this place it will be someone else. The place is filthy and poorly maintained. It’s a shame because I love la Quinta.

    We stayed at this location for 3 nights in a suite, and the bathroom in the suite was never restocked; we had to get extra towels and TP from the front desk. The front desk was very courteous and helpful.

    The check in was so easy online. The staff was very friendly. The coffee was great. There aren't a lot of luggage carts and the elevator buttons were janky on one of them, but over all, it was nice- just what we needed.

    Only issue was ac took forever to cool down and hallway noise. Hallway noise was my fault didn’t ask for a room near the stairs. The heat outside was the issue with the ac. Overall good stay will return.

    I booked a room that stated it was accessible. You need to state that accesible does not mean ada compliant. The room had a tub and not a roll in shower. We paid for a room we could not stay in. Will never trust la Quinta again.

    The first room we were in 107 had water all over the floor when we arrived late on the 9th. There were old spores on the bathroom wall. Gnats were flying out of the tub drain. My grandson had to go to urgent care as he is allergic to mold. The next morning they moved us to rm 220. Still no email or phone call from the manager that I wanted to reach. 2 of the chairs in 220 were ripped. We went out for a few hours and when we returned the room had ants all over it and in the bed. The night clerk came up and tried to spray something but it didn’t help. The pool and whirlpool were cloudy with no chlorine. We reported them to the county department of health. I will attach his report. I personally want all of my money back. I did not sleep well and could not use the amenities vi want you to tell the manager he needs to refund my money immediately. He has already taken joy out of what will be this 71 year old last trip where I was born. Do not recommend this place to anyone. If I could I would rate everything a 0. Staff is rude and ignorant

    Elevator was broken, ac was broken so they moved us rooms thankfully they did bc when i went back to turn the lights back out the floor by the window/ac area and the window seal was covered in ants. In the new room the light over the coffee bar, the majority of the outlets and the TV wouldnt work. I spoke to the lady at the front desk and she told me it would be taken care of AFTER i checked out of my 2 night stay.

    The only disappointment with the property was the elevators. They had two, one was out of order completely and the other ones would take you up, but couldn’t bring you back down to floor one. So you had to get off at floor two and walk down the steps, which were at the opposite end of the building. Not good for older individuals are those with heavy pieces of luggage. Otherwise it was a nice piece of property.

    Very congested room.clean 45min to an hour away from main gatlinburg downtown if you plan to stay more then a day look for a closer to downtown hotel this is far. There were lots ants in our room staff was very cooperative they sprayed to clean but just sayn bugs were there . Breakfast was okay.

    The hotel was ok, the staff was super rude, and the lady that checked me in apparently didn’t charge my card so they called me the next day to go in there and pay and I paid an Expedia had already taken the payment so I’m not even sure how much I really paid then the second night there at midnight around one actually the alarm the fire alarm started going off woke everybody up did not stop for two hours everybody was up my kids couldn’t sleep of course our head was pounding I have multiple sclerosis and stress like that causes me to have a lot of my multiple sclerosis symptoms so I was feeling really really bad the next morning we’re supposed to go out with family and have breakfast none of us were able to wake up I had to be at work this morning so I couldn’t stay longer like I wanted to because we were back in our sleep none of us had a good night sleep at night so it was pretty horrible my brother had to drive all the way to Florida and I’m sure he didn’t have a good night I wouldn’t bring it again

    We checked in on April 9. I received a text message from LaQuinta by Wyndham Sevierville/Kodak welcoming us. Message says to reply to the message if we need anything. At 9:14pm I replied stating that the room next to us had a dog barking non-stop. No reply/response. At 3:30am we were awakened by screaming, shouting and slamming doors from the room across the hall. I notified a staff member in the morning of the issues and that I would like reduction in our charges due to the disturbances. She said she would notify the manager and adjustments would be made at checkout. I submitted another reply to the text confirming notification to the staff of the issues encountered. We checked out on April 13 and there were no comments at checout regarding noise issues. The manager was not there but would be notified by Maria who processed our checkout. Still no response.

    So, we get into our room last night and it is a non smoking room. Spells of mary jane as soon as we get into the room. Go down to the pool an hour before it closed and the hallway,elevator and front hotel/desk spelled strong of same mary jane odor. Then we get into the pool and it spells like someone took a poop in the pool or threw up. We tell the hotel worker and she said that they will clean the pool in the morning. We go to leave this morning and the pool had still been yet cleaned. (Still dirty)

    The cleaning staff can only make it look so good. Some serious upgrading and repair work needs to be done in order for it to feel clean. The bathroom sink couldn’t be fully shut off and a steady stream of water ran nonstop, there were holes in the walls near light switches, the paint on the walls seems to be covering up damage without actually repairing the damage which can be seen through the paint, and more… And we could hear every single thing going on in the room next to us.

    The prooerty was only 6 min from the Sevierville Convention Center. However, the room keys didnt work we had to replace twice. Imagine this with 2 kids. The elevator buttons were stuck so we manually unstuck it to get moving. The room floors were dusty, and the breakfast food was not hot despite being on a warmer.

    VERY PET FRIENDLY! We came from Florida for a family weekend getaway. The rooms were clean, the hot breakfast was enjoyable, the staff were amazing. The view of the mountains from the entrance was gorgeous. Will definitely stay again if we ever come back to Tennessee!

    Others that stayed at the hotel, dropped the spoon for the eggs, picked it up and placed it back in the tray for someone else to use. I think an employee needs to keep a closer eye on breakfast area as dur to the above comment. And the area was very messy with trash on the floor, pancake mix every where due to other guest not cleaning up after themselves.
