Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Gate

Window would not close, giving no privacy, about two inches open. The quilt was stained and when u went to ask then to be changed, no one was there. The shower wall had hair on it, making me believe the cleanliness is not the best. Over all the property was okay, the pool was not opened at 1030 when I checked out. The worst was the stain on the quilt, I took pictures if needed. I dont complain ever, but it was kind of gross.

Comfortable bed and a well maintained and clean room. Nice lighting and bedding. Really hot water, which is a nice surprise. The bed, which was advertized as a queen, was most definitely not a queen, which felt kind of cheap and dishonest of the property. Especially from a chain, I would expect something like that to be reliable. Also, staff was VERY pushy about check-out. I received a reminder text, at 8am on the morning of my check out, then a call from reception at 10:30 (check out was at 11:00), then a knock on the door at 10:45.

The desk worked were great,. The staircase were dirty and a toilet seat was stuck into the stairs, it was remove 30 minute later. No clock in the room. The parking was clean, the double exits was good to have.

I appreciated the location of the property, lots of shopping and things to do and the staff was great.

there was no furniture other than a bed and a tv in my room

I was bit by bugs on my last 2 stays! I stayed here while inwas working

No hot water in the sink, gang writing on the mirror, fire alarms went off 3 times around 1am and when I called they said we can get a new room at 1am.

Room 215, at the top of the inside of Bathroom door, there is some blackish material looks like mold.

Why would you ask for a deposit for more the price of 1 night in this motel?

The neighborhood is high traffic industrial/commercial. We arrived at 6pm and the lobby was closed. The building is old and the furniture is broken down in need of replacement. The next rooms a/c unit sounded like a dryer with golf balls in it. The people staying in the next few rooms were extremely loud, dragging furniture, banging their doors shut, pounding on walls, yelling and partying in the parking lot. This went on until about 3am. Worst night ever in a motel. I would not suggest staying there.

Everytime I traveled to Los Angeles area , I stay at this location, the hotel is clean and accessible to shops, dining and freeways. Staff is friendly.

Everything was beautiful

The size of the suite was great, the only problem was the floors were so dirty. My son walked barefoot for 5 mins and the bottoms of his feet were black. My wife went to target across street for a mop & bucket then she mopped our room..

Pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t expecting much to be honest. The room was very big and very clean. Ample free parking and nicely maintained property. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and made check in seamless. Will be back.

We were not able to use the pool, that information was not on the website. And the iron did not work in the room.

The furniture was in poor condition, ground unkept, check in was not great, hair in the sink, water bottles left from previous visitors, wood flooring coming up causing tripping, hotel chair broken. When I called the front desk, I was told there was no room service.

The frustrating - Floors were very dirty. When I took a shower the tub was black from all the dirt on my feet. All the lights were harshly bright. The shutters did not block light from the street in the morning. My electronic key frequently failed and had to be re-keyed at least 4 times. The room did not have a Do Not Disturb sign until the 5th day so the maids woke us up every morning.

Cause it is usually quiet, except this time, we stay there at least once a month in our trip, hopefully management can correct this, we wouldn’t want to look for an other hotel,

We check in room wasn’t what I expected floor was dirty, the room ice box cover had mold and bag wasn’t taken out of the ice box so it had water in it , prior gust left garbage on top of tv entertainment . Bed squeaked every time you turned very loud. Mattress very worn out outdated. Very poor

Second as I went to get ready for the night the electric plug in the getting ready area did not work so I had to juggle around room to get ready was so dissatisfied with stay there will not choose there again

This property was perfect.

This is my third time staying at this property, it has always been a great place to stay and I will continue to use this facility when I am in town; this time the only complaint I have is that the mattress was worn out and did not have a good sleep as I had to stay in one area of the bed so I did not go into the sagging side.

The pool was super cold and around the hotel spiders everywhere super big

Shout out to Damien, who is the man that helped me a blind Amputee get to info my room without me even happen to ask he was very aware of what was going on around. Days Inn & Suites had an awesome stay thank you and to Hector who made me feel comfortable and making my reservation. 👍

The employee at the front counter wasn’t polite, I had to look for the room employee didn’t tell me where it was, didn’t have knowledge about places around, the housekeeper try to open my door before the checking out time. Staff wasn’t polite.

Property was not so bad , it’s the people in the office , very rude , it represents the business as poor

I requested a room change because the original one had ants in the bathroom sink. Both rooms had old, damaged furniture, and neither had a desk. Additionally, the noise level was high. Finally, the clerk always attends from behind a protected window, which made me feel that the area might be unsafe.

Front desk lady was kind and helpful. I needed a favor to print out something and she assisted.

It was one of the worst place I've ever stayed at I had a homeless person knocking on my door at 3:00 in the morning the iron didn't work coffee maker didn't work AC didn't work it smelled awful and they still haven't refunded my money for the day i didn't stay because I had little girls so I couldn't stay. For 55 extra dollars a night I went to The Bicycle Casino which is luxurious the Taj Mahal compared to that and I'm not one to complain honestly

I never use the room but I am still need to pay. They have a $200 deposit in this hotel and I cannot even cancel the room. I don’t want to stay in this hotel again.

Room was clean. It had blackout drapes, mini fridge and microwave. Staff was nice.

THe hotel itself is good, clean rooms and friendly staff, but the are is terrible, we had the wheels of oune of our bikes stolen during the night.

Very poor quality of hotel especially being a Wyndham affiliate. The outside looked nice online and the rooms they put online are nothing like what we got. When we checked in the first room we walked in was still dirty had to go downstairs and ask for another room. I was not impressed when I walked in honestly regretted booking that room even if it was for one night. The furniture definitely needs to be updated the chairs they had in the rooms were all stained. Not to mentioned it was the noises ever I woke up all night couldn't wait to check out and come home. Horrible experience I guess this was you get what you pay for type of deal :(

I’ve stayed in this hotel before it was a lot nicer then it appears rundown today. There was trash in the corners of the room and some stain that looked like vomit on the carpet. It was way too expensive for a weekend. The staff was friendly and helpful.

They were confused and not well informed as to the day of our check in and check out.

It was on the low side of cleanliness had a musty smell to it and dangerous because you are not let in the facility at night you have to check in from outside. I almost got robbed.

The suites are not sound proof. I guess nothing really is. You will hear the neighbor and outside street noise. If you are sensitive to noise I suggest a suite closer to the inside street.

Bed was comfortable and the hot shower was great. However, the floors were filthy. My feet were black when i tried to walk barefoot in the room. The faucet handle fell off in my hand and i couldn't maneuver between hot and cold.

I was to aray 3 nights but checked out after one.

No curtains to block lighting from building next door. Bathroom fan was loud as a jet engine. Return deposit took a long time for return.

Was met at the night window at around 8:30 p.m. and the room was filled with strong fragrance smell to cover up some odor. Bathroom fan was too noisy that you could wake up in the middle of your sleep. We had chosen this place for the breakfast and in Expedia they didn't mention the Grab and go. Grab and go breakfast here was a cup of coffee, nutrient bar and a small bottle of juice. So we had to have separate breakfast. Expedia should exclude these kinds in their breakfast category. Overall, though the price of the room was moderate, everything else was way below the expectations of Days Inn.

The place seamed a little rubbed down and not managed very well especially for the price we paid for two nights. Also the supposedly breakfast that was mentioned was a disgrace. Apple, orange juice and coffee was breakfast at its finest at this place.

It’s a nice place to be in…good service and good staff. Only minor problem…is they need to fix the temperature for the pool…multiple stores to explore. At the end? It’s good service.

The reviews said that they had a breakfast but it was much less than a continental breakfast.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I visit Los Angeles, annually. I had some issues to begin my trip as the hotel sold my first floor ADA accompdated room, before I was able to get there and check-in, and only left me with a second floor room, that I could not safely access due to my disability. I was forced to stay at a less than satisfactory hotel, for a few days, until another ADA accompdated room became available at the property. Furthermore, I was left without housing, at 11pm the evening I was to arrive. After I was able to come back and check in a few days later, everything went great. I'm a big fan of this property and want to continue to enjoy staying here in my visits to Los Angeles, just hopeful I'm treated better, in tuned with my disabilities next trip, especially considering I'm a loyal customer of this property.

It’s not a fancy place but it has everything you need if you want somewhere safe and clean to stay in the city at a great price and close to everything.

When i arrived (I did arrive late in the evening) there was nobody in the office. We had to wait almost 10 minutes to check in. The breakfast bar is lacking options). The Staff was nice and the grounds were well maintained.
