Good breakfast

Great breakfast and good transportation to and from SFO airport.

Was not a fan and will not stay again unless the property is updated. The room definitely needed a new bed, new flooring, new bathroom fixtures etc. The breakfast was inedible and I had to go across the street to McDonalds as I was rushing to a conference. Definitely needs a massive redo.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was real good. The room and entire building was clean but very tired, I experienced a lot of areas that needed updating and repair. The bathroom was very tired due to cracked tile, dirty grout, dusty ceiling vent, and some worn components (shower drained very slowly). The staff were efficient but didn’t go out of their way to be friendly. The room served its purpose but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Bathroom fixtures were outdated. But if you just want a clean place to stay It’s pretty reasonable.

My wife and I appreciated Best Western for all they had to offer. Clean room and bathrooms, excellent free morning breakfast, great staff, quiet environment and just a wholesome experience.

The property was very nice and we would stay again when in SF. The breakfast was perfect—lots of options and very nice eating area. We also had dinner there which was good. The room was nicely appointed with refrigerator and coffeemaker. The window, however, was very noisy with a very strong wind howling through the crack between the panes all night, and shooting cold air into the room. Luckily the heater was good. Curtain had a tear in it also.

One minor observation, water pressure was low. Still, overall it was a pleasant stay. Great value.

Staying at this hotel was ideal. It was close enough to drive into the city and convenient to visit the smaller communities for dinner. The staff was very helpful, and the room met my expectations.

This hotel is incredibly dated, in a bad area, inconvenient for anything but the airport. Breakfast is very limited. Showers do not all work. Power failure issues. Rooms smell musty, moldy, and stale. Hard Pass unless you really really do not care about where you stay.

Efficient airport service at 5am. Basic, clean room, quietpleasant service. Too late arrival to use pool and too early departure for breakfast. How about a fruit bowl and yogurt before 5. Priced in euros not Us$ online

Generous and decent breakfast.

This hotel has been our GO TO hotel for over night stays when we travel. This visit, we arrived very late (midnight). The desk staff was very helpful. We asked for a microwave to be brought to our room. The on duty maintenance man brought it and set it up. He also took down the luggage carrier we had used. We had not expected that. The location of the airport is perfect. Sometimes we have taken advantage of their shuttle.. but not this visit.

The room I had was in a pretty poor condition. The bathroom sink leaked when it was at a certain angle, our curtain was ripped, the iron had gunk inside its steamers, and the air conditioning was incredibly noisy. The staff was very nice and breakfast was always something to look forward to in the mornings.

Location and proximity to airport Absolutely disastrous room.. the toilet seat needs to be lifted by hand and you need to keep it holding with one hand while peeing.. else it falls down !!! Design defect. The AC controller didnt work.. the queen bed room size was too small, the beds did not evwn have two side tables on the sides!!! The breakfast was no good .. wouldnt rwturn to this property… thete are many airport hotels at SFO where I stayed in the past and are far better

I wanted to use the coin laundry, but quarters were not provided.

Floor in room had old butter wrappers on it that got stuck to my foot…and tub was a bit dingy. Overall a good place to stay and delicious breakfast.

Surprisingly very good hotel close to airport. Restaurant on site had free breakfast and variety of entrees for dinner. Fitness gym is really just a room with dumbbells, a noisy treadmill and couple of stationary bikes. Would have been nice if it was better equipped. But overall clean, friendly, convenient place to stay close to city by uber, Muni or BART. Have a good time!

This has to be the best place to stay for proximity to the airport. We just had to drive .8 miles down the same road to return our rental and get on our way. Rooms were clean and comfortable. On site parking.

No many choices in breakfast just one choice of bread. Oatmeal was too watery.

Also had trouble parking about 10:30 PM, even with a disabled placard.

Horrible roach motel. Our room had stained sheets. The bathroom had rust and hair in the tub. Didn’t look like cleaning or cleanliness is their goal. I did not get under the sheets. Checked out at 5 am the next day and got the heck out of there! It’s the most disgusting hotels I have ever been to! I booked it for convenience since it’s close to the airport. Overall yuck yuck yuck!

I stayed for 2 nights in May 2026. Nice clean hotel, close to SFO airport. The staff sanitized the rooms before my check-in. Room and toilet were clean. Bed was clean. They have housekeeping on request before 9 am. Breakfast was quite good with lot of options - available from 6 am so quite good for early morning travelers. McDonalds is just opposite of the hotel. Overall, highly recommended budget-friendly hotel in SFO, ideal for travelers or business persons.

Room was clean , comfortable and recently updated. Check in was seamless and overnight parking in a safe , secured on premise parking lot was only $10. Had an event to attend at the deYoung Museum the next day and staying at Grovesner BW was a smart option rather than same day drive from Capitola . Easy hotel to get to - short distance from 101 off ramp. For events,meetings in SF it makes a lot of sense to stay at this BW.....

This property is well maintained while maintaining some historic notes. Charming stained glass in restaurant area. The staff are excellent. Rooms in order and has an over-the-top breakfast bar. I have stayed there many times and will be there again in June.

Had the accommodations for my disability. The night attendants tried everything to confirm my reservation. Even held my IDs and CC until I got back! The mixed messages of the night manager to have me stay until 6:30A waiting for my funds to be released.

Staff were friendly but our room was not so great. Window was broken being held together with blue painters tape, huge draft from the window, bathroom tub was dirty, breakfast was okay, overall not the cleanest and well kept stay. I advise to look elsewhere.

There is no shuttle during the day . The hotel is 3 miles from airport and you will be charged $30 minimum by uber. Don’t get there early, 30 minutes before check in and if I did not wait it was a $34 surcharge. Never again…

Quiet Very small rooms, looks like they are trying to upgrade the property but fall short the simplest things like old wall switches, non working outlets, old existing ac vents that no longer are in use. Damaged base boards that were just painted over.

Breakfast menu was limited but fresh. The dinner menu was robust and the quality was very good. Cocktails and wine selection were very good. The room was very clean, but the soap dispensers were inoperable. And some of the electric outlets didn’t work. The air conditioner was very efficient. The two men at the front desk were efficient but not particularly pleasant. One woman at the front desk was very friendly to repeat guests but not to others. The location is convenient to the airport and does provide shuttle service. All in all it provides adequate guest services and accommodations.

Disgusting rooms hair all over, water in the tub , terribly rude employees , not handicap accessible when I call to have a room change they told me they didn’t know if they could clean it and said I can go ahead and write a bad review. Just really awful.

Clean room, fast and friendly service. There's a restaurant with a decent menu, and a nice bonus is a free shuttle to the airport. Long-term parking is available, which is very convenient.

We like the convenience of this property while travelling . Do not count on the airport shuttle. We waited 1 1/2 hrs after a long flight . Shuttle never showed up after several phone calls with hangups. So we took a taxi - when we talked to the mgr all he could say was that the shuttle was with an outside contractor . Well your customers certainly don’t care about that !! No off of compensation or even taxi reimbursement.

The bathroom was partially clean found several hair strands in the shower. Poor shuttle service due to poor schedule arrangement and hotel policies. Forced to take taxi from airport bec pic up in the afternoon starts at 5 pm.

The shower walls were filthy I ended up having to get myvown they didn't even offer to fix or comp me a night the grout was white it's black from skin flakes and the sink had boogers in it

The check in staff was nice, however the room smelt like mold really bad. I couldn’t breathe, the curtains were ripped, they didn’t work, the bath was old and very very musty smelling. Very good hotel near airport and city. Just 20 min drive from Golden gate and pier 39. Airport is just 5 minute drive. I reduced 1 start due to chech-in staff behavior and parking availability. Rest was very good.

The receptionist was especially friendly and helpful. We appreciate her and wish we could know her by name but she was working on December 16 in the evening. The room accommodations are very good especially the beds but it could use additional blankets. The breakfast is OK but would appreciate bacon and more egg variety. The yogurt should be a no sugar, plain yogurt and allow people to add, honey or sugar to it. The breakfast is loaded towards cheaper carbs and not enough meat and egg options dairy as well.

Great location. I just hope they get their Guests contact number especially when they pick up the them from the airport. It was our first time travelling to SF and we didnt get notified when the shuttle was already waiting. We also didnt know the exact pick up point of their shuttle. We ended up waiting for so long and needed to book our uber.

Hotel shuttle only runs part time with no information when at the airport— no service in afternoons so have to get a taxi after waiting in vain for any transport or information at airport unless customers decide to phone hotel for help —Expedia needs to clarify this .

We stayed there for 5 days and housekeeping didn’t come in even once. They only come upon request and the time we requested they said they were short staffed. The place is outdated and the bed covers are weird. Would not stay there again unless it’s only for night to catch an early flight.

Heater did not work On the seventh floor water flow was very very bad and then 56 minutes into the shower. It completely stopped.

very loud air conditioner. housekeeping entered the room at 11, even though the check out is at 12pm. toilet and sink kinda clogged, very bad. there wasn’t any body wash in the body wash dispenser. the only “good” thing was the breakfast. won’t be staying here again, rather take a cheaper hotel since this one didn’t match the price.

I expected much more from a BWplus. The check-in man was rude. The room needed maintenance…leaky faucet, one night stand, crooked TV, hairdryer not in bathroom, shower dispenses broken or almost empty. As a BW member I wouldn’t stay there again.

Two major problems: the room smelled like cigarette smoking had happened in it very recently; the shuttle didn’t come and we had to Uber to get to the airport on time. There were three others who did the same. I stayed at the Best Western for the convenience of the shuttle so am very disappointed and will not recommend. I would appreciate a response and refund. The cupboard was a bit dodgy and a risk as the mirror sliding door was unstable and not safe. Staff were very friendly and informative. Shuttle service was reliable and on time. I would definitely staff again.

The room was clean, bed was good. Everything else was lacking: slow check in, no airport shuttle between 10:00 am and 5:30pm, which is when I needed it, plug in bathtub did not work, super loud AC, extremely dirty windows, didn’t want to sleep with loud AC, slept poorly because of only being able to open window a crack and heard a lot of airport and street noise, TV did not work properly, light switch in bathroom did not turn off. Had maintenance come up twice to fix things! Would not choose Best Western again. There are better options in the same price range available!

My room was dirty and filthy. There were medicines spilled on the floor and some chips remains. I’ve taken some photos and can share them if required.

The free buffet breakfast was a nice touch—plenty of options and perfect before an early flight. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made check-in and check-out seamless. My entire stay felt easy, well taken care of, and convenient. If you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable stay near SFO, this is a great choice. I’d definitely return. ✈️

Convenience to airport

Should asign specific shuttles locations at the airport rather than just send customers to any shuttle stop. I missed 2 shuttles, 1 I didn’t see the shuttle the other there were too many shuttles from different companies and although I waived to the driver, I missed the 2nd shuttle ended up paying a Lyft

Nice hotel near the AirPort and close to car rental. Not a lot of dining options nearby though.

Although the hotel looks old , it was clean and the basic necessities are available ! The staff are very accommodating and the breakfast selection is very satisfying!

Front desk Filipina was very accomodating.

When I arrived, the TV in my room only accessed one channel. A maintenance worker was sent who spent a very long time going through several remote controls and battery changes until he finally fixed the problem. He was great and his patience and diligence were much appreciated. I think his name was Edwin.

Very convenient location. The floor I was on was very noisy but the staff were accommodating. I asked to be moved to a different floor and they were able to accommodate me quickly. The shuttle is convenient, rooms are okay.

I chose this hotel because it serves breakfast, they have shuttle service and close to the airport. We stayed for 3 different times within the month abd supposed to book again for 4 nights but the price suddenly increased so we were forced to look for another hotel.

The smell of the room was nasty and stale.

Hotel had no parking at all, while letting several large trucks occupy multiple parking spots. All parking on the street is illegal for overnight parking. Pay a little more and stay somewhere nice. I ended up just leaving.

Just avoid it. Pay more somewhere else. Older building that has not been retrofitted. UNBELIEVABLY LOUD. Directly in flight path of jumbo jets out of SFO, with leaky 40 year old windows. TERRIBLE shower with fluctuating water pressure and temperature.

We needed to book a hotel on the fly, late in the evening, due to a flight delay. We used Expedia and chose this hotel because it was a 5 minute drive from the airport, offered free shuttle service, and rooms with 2 double beds. The hotel was old but clean. There were few dining options within walking distance. The McDonalds across the street was dtive thru only, it had a walk up window but they were not using it or allowing inside service (11pm). There was an open IHOP and gas station about 3 blocks away. The shuttle was on schedule and buffet breakfast wss included with the room.

Friendly staff. Room was clean and I appreciated that the TV remote was cleaned and wrapped up. Our soap dispenser wasn’t working properly and I thought maybe it’s because it ran out so the front desk called housekeeping and she came to our room very quickly and took care of the problem. The only reason why I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again is because of the thin walls. I can hear the lady in the next room talking to her kids. And she was using her normal voice, not shouting or screaming. I couldn’t get any sleep until she stopped talking and went to sleep.

The staff were careless and not willing to help.

The room was good. Conveniently located to the airport, freeway, at Costco was nearby if you needed anything. The room was comfortable and served is purpose. The breakfast was great. Waffles, eggs, sausage, there was a different variety everyday. Parking was good and the parking lot was well lit.

They charge for parking and there was literally no parking in the parking lot. The lot was full of tourist bus inside and out of the parking lot and a bunch of huge contradiction trucks double parked.

Beth room is not clean, there were leftovers hair in the bathtub and toilet has different type of stains
