    Clean room. Staffs are very helpful and greeting guests. Wish they open bar 24 hr so guest arriving late can stop by for a late night drink. safe environment but limited parking space. There should be no charge for parking.

    Staff was very unhelpful. I waited 1.5 hrs for the airport shuttle. Other DT shuttle drivers told me it was not unusual for this specific doubletree to have customers waiting long periods of time. Check-in not easy - wrong room etc. worst of all the front desk never answered the phone when I called ever! I’m a flight attendant so I needed a wake up call. Finally I went down at 10:30pm to ask for a call. I did - they took my request and I DID NOT RECEIVE a call. Upon checking out at 3:15am I was told I could not check out, nor receive my discount (restaurant) due to being too early and they no longer offer airline discounts. I moved to another doubletree that treats customers/ airline employees with respect ~ and they answer the phones!!!

    This hotel is clean and quite. The room I stayed in had a 2 queen bed, small bathroom and the shower didn't have enough pressure for my liking. There was a small chair in our room. I feel like the beds were a bit firm and made it hard to sleep for me. Overall this was a nice hotel to stay, just wished they provide free parking for the guest.

    Airport shuttle starts at 510am until 11pm. The room was very dim not much light when it’s night time, window had no screen on it so you can open the window and pretty much jump out if you want. Walked in to dirty comforter under 2 bed sheets, table and night stand was dirty looks like someone dropped coffee or something on it. The wall was dirty and looked like a little mold next to the ac unit

    Only issue I had was being on the second floor located in front of the laundry truck. The laundry truck is loaded past 11pm and they are loud when they load it. Also there is a dryer below our room that you can hear when they spin it up in the morning.

    Breakfast was NOT included. This hotel is advertised as including breakfast. All they offered when we checked in was a $24 credit per adult per stay for breakfast at their restaurant. That’s $48 for a family of four for the entire week. Our one and only breakfast there cost us $80 plus tip for very basic menu items. The hotel was nice and clean otherwise. Also, basic conveniences like water and free coffee in the lobby were completely absent. The only place to get water was at the gym.

    The air conditioning was horrible both days. The beds squeaked without even moving. The window would close tightly. The food was great in the restaurant we had breakfast and supper. Front staff were friendly. Over all out of all the Hiltons this has to be ranked the lowest in our standards.

    Room and common areas are clean. Room was updated. Sink drain seemed to have been backed up water took some time to go down and air conditioner wasn’t cooling the room but thankfully I can open the window. But being next to the airport it was loud with window open. Only stayed there for our last day in California for an early morning flight. For our purpose the stay was satisfactory.

    Property was near the airport our surroundings we had Costco near by but didn’t go there to shop. We had IHop, Popeyes, TOGO a sandwich shop and Dunkin Doughnuts near us it was walking distance which was nice. Our hotel was pretty nice our room was clean and they offered free coffee. We used their gym which was really good and very clean! I would go back to stay there again!

    The receptionist was rude, she did not tell us about the breakfast credit we had and charged us on the card. Upon asking her to take out the charge, she was unapologetic and treated it like it was a pain. The Landing restaurant was really nice and the staff was courteous and sweet and the food was delicious. Don’t think we would come back though, we don’t recommend this place to anyone.

    I can’t speak to the property as the staff would not return communication back to me. Tried to ask a question after my pre book was already charged and couldn’t cancel. They charge $125 just for the dog for one night. Also I didn’t see the 30lb limit on a dog. So when I tried asking about that they wouldn’t even respond. Once they get your money they don’t care. It literally cost me less to get another hotel that would take my dog and stay for one night than they charge a “cleaning fee” for the dog.

    The primary reason I chose this property was the airport proximity AND the hotel to airport shuttle. It turns out, the shuttle is a shred, two hotel transport the runs about every 45 minutes from the two different locations to the SF airport. It was a stressful 45 minutes for me and my wife as we waited for the shuttle as our Lyft driver was coming to the hotel to meet us. Missing that connection would have been a problem getting to a concert across town. Be warned. Allow an extra 45 minutes in your schedule to get to the next place or back to the airport.

    I loved everything about the place, the stay, the employees where super nice. The only complaint I had was the whole building had a loud buzzing noise and it shook in motion like I was on a cruise ship the whole time. They moved me from the 5th floor which was really bad to the 3rd floor but it still shook in motion like crazy but not as loud, even the bed. I felt like I was constantly going to throw up.

    This airport hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is very professional. I gave it only an average rating for two reasons that CAN BE CORRRECTED. First, the room is very poorly lit. There are no ceiling lights and only a couple of small side lamps. After dark the room is too dark, like being in a night club. Second, the shuttle schedule is INADEQUATE. The shuttle comes very 40-45 minutes. The other Double Tree at the airport comes every 20 minutes. In addition, because of the confusion between the two Double Tree hotels (both on the same street), people are always getting on the wrong bus.

    The room we stayed at the air conditioning was turned on hot we couldn’t adjust the temp and was at 80 degrees. We contacted and was able to have someone to come and check it out and realized the thermostat doesn’t work with the air conditioner and we can just have to adjust it through the air con. Overall I think this place is good

    Staff member on reception was helpful. Room was nice and clean. Just what was needed after a 16 hour trip. Bathroom was nice and clean. Easy walk to ihop, Dunkin donuts, McDonald’s if needed. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others.

    The rooms were pretty clean but the sink was blocked so we couldnt run the sink (while washing face or brushing teeth) without the shallow sink filling 80% of the way. Also all the usb ports were non functional and half the power outlets (the ones not already plug with lighting, the tv or clock) were broken. When we informed concierge of these short comings no apology or solution was offered. The 3 star average review is pretty accurate.

    While room was newly renovated, it was poorly executed in the bathroom. Not a huge deal, but the shower door doesn’t close all the way allowing quite a bit of water to get on the floor, and it only opened on one side making the hook installed for a towel useless. While that’s a petty thing, the total lack of hot water was a much bigger issue. Taking a cold shower in San Fran is not ideal, especially first thing in the morning. Also, the AC was locked so you could not adjust the temperature, while at a decent temperature for me at 71, my husband prefers it cooler which made for a less comfortable environment for him.

    We stood in the freezing rain for over an hour for our shuttle. We would have given up and gotten an Uber, but I was with my 70 year old mother and we had very heavy bags and some of her paintings and I just didn't have the strength to go down two flights of stairs and across traffic 2 more times. The front desk did not care about our long wait and said the shuttle isn't a part of Hilton. The restuarant closed at 7:45pm because it's too "slow" to be open on New Year's Day leaving us 30 mins to shove an over dressed salad in our faces. The room was freezing—especially after standing in the rain—and they had a limit on how much you could turn up the heat. It remained at 67 degrees all night. No extra blankets. No water provided.

    Not well-lit . . .there was more light in the bathroom area than near the bed for reading. In coming in the door, there is one switch which lights the light right at the entry way, but didn't light any of the lamps in the unit. Couldn't find any switch in the dark. Had to find my way across the room to get to a lamp in the corner and then try to find the on/off switch. Shower - only 1 grab bar on the far side of the shower. faucet handle . . no indication of hot/cold setting; because it took quite a while for the water to get to the 3rd floor unit, it took quite a while/bit of experimenting to test if the hot water was on.     My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night.     Not a fan of their customer service. I was charged an unknown or unauthorized fee and when I asked the manger she assured me she liked and saw nothing. I asked my bank and they specifically noted it was Doubletree that charged me. Never again and I will not recommend

Tons, literally tons of rats in the back parking lot and their loading dock.     Shuttle service to/from SFO is infrequent, every 45 minutes. Startling noises through the night in the front building, third floor. Be careful to select a quiet room. Otherwise the accommodations are clean and have minimal amenities. I was disappointed with the “Hilton” brand, expecting better.

    The staff had a very bad attitude and no patience. At first, they gave me a room with a strong unpleasant smell. After I asked to change rooms, they reluctantly gave me another one, but it was still very dirty.     Everyone at the hotel itself was great! The shuttle service could use some clarifying. There are multiple Double Tree Hotel locations. You need to know the exact one you are staying at so you do not get on the wrong bus. The drivers were not clear and in a hurry. I am so thankful that I heard another couple ask the address of the Double Tree for the first shuttle as I was going to get on and it would have been the wrong one.

    We were exhausted. We had just flown across the country and it was late. We watched countless hotel shuttles pass by, but not ours. I listed our late arrival time on the booking and called immediately upon exiting the aircraft. I called not only from the shuttle phone but several times from my cell phone, yet no one answered. We had to be back at the airport in 5 hours, so at that point it was hardly worth going to the hotel. If I hadn't had my daughter with me, I wouldn't have bothered. Very frustrating, terrible service, and not very safe. If the face of the booking had said the shuttle stopped before 11 PM, I never would have booked it in the first place. Had the hotel clerk bothered to answer the phone and told me no shuttle was coming, I could have ordered an Uber almost 2 hours sooner. He barely even looked at me when I checked in, then said he had been swamped. Really? At midnight??? The lobby was vacant, and Expedia miraculously got straight through when they called at the same time. So I was stranded in the middle of the night in a less than safe city with my daughter and had to spend $40 on an Uber ride that was <5 minutes. Horrible service failure.

    For this overnight stay, the hotel was fine. We were catching an early flight the next day. They do have a restaurant in the hotel which is great, because you aren't going to find anything else nearby in this industrial area at the airport. Most important for us was having the shuttle to take us to SFO in the morning.

    The original room I received had heating system that did not work.     Arrived late in the night, parking near the entrance is scarce so had to park on one of te hotel sides. The entire walk from the car to the entrance all I could see was hordes and hordes of large grey rats roaming the parking lot and on the narrow landscaping between the hotel building and the parking lot. While room was relatively clean, the area where the elevator lets off was filthy, the windows where stained had definitely not been cleaned in years.

    The 292 bus into the city stops right outside the hotel which could not be easier for someone wanting to visit the piers etc. Both stays at the airport were good, nice room and good food at the restaurant. The bar was a good place to meet some great people in the evenings and wind down after a busy day. Would like to thank all the staff at Double Tree especially the Manager and bar / restaurant staff for making it a pleasant and memorable stay.

    Chose this location because we had an early flight out of SFO. Having stayed at multiple Doubletrees over the years, we expected our stay to be exceptional; unfortunately that was not the case. Our room was 80 degrees when we arrived and it took 8 hours for the temperature to even drop to 75 degrees. The shower was lukewarm at best. The decor was dated and our room was very dark. Would not choose to stay here again.

    We chose this hotel because it’s a DoubleTree by Hilton with a 4-star rating, but it’s definitely not worth 4 stars. In the room, 2 out of 3 lamps are broken. There’s no kettle for hot water. The USB sockets on the wall are broken. Bottled water is changed for $3 each whereas in other 4-star hotels complementary bottlesd water is common hospitality. I asked for a toothbrush because our luggage is still with the airline, the toothbrush is of the worst quality and was totally ruined before I could even complete one use. This morning, when I tried to get a shower the hot water didn’t come even after running for 20 minutes. The front desk personnel were not very patient nor quite friendly. All in all, this is NOT a 4-start hotel bearing Hilton brand.

    Rooms have TVs whose connections sometimes don’t work at all. Room lighting is terrible — very dark. We had to use flashlights to see in luggage even with all the room lights on. Hotel restaurant was pricey and food was not great.

    - The bed is very old and worn. When I sat down on it, i sank down about half of the depth of the mattress. That is very bad for people‘s backs. You could also see bulges in the mattress. - I had sleep on the chase lounge instead - There was water all over the floor in front of the refrigerator and it was dirty on the inside.

    The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. However, I arrived to find not one, not two, but three rooms with BROKEN air conditioning in the 90+ degree heat! They were unable to find me a room that was cool but were at least nice enough to provide a fan. The people were wonderful, but my stay and the property were terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! There are other choices near the airport...

    I enjoyed my stay for the amount of time I was staying there which was only two days. The airport shuttle schedule was very true to time which was convenient. The only issue was my air didn’t work but billed the front desk, maintenance came quickly and the issue was fixed within 15 minutes.

    I was visiting my son and his fiancee who were staying with her parents in SF, so booked this nearby hotel. Used the hotel shuttle from the airport (but waited for the shuttle 1 hour.) The thermostat is not connected to reality. The temperature was 70 when I went to bed and at 3am I awoke sweating to the temp at 76! Each night. The room was comfy otherwise & clean. No free breakfast, but the $16.00 2 eggs/hash browns/bacon was good. Probably would not stay again.

    Had an issue between the hotel and hotels.com and the hotel canceled my reservation. Manager J.S. Was extremely rude trying to get this corrected. In the end he found himself in the wrong when hotels.com still showed my reservation active. Instead of apologizing or being professional, he left me on hold, hung up several times, raised his voice, and cut me off, acting much like a teenage boy. He is definitely not cut out for this line of work. Thank you hotels.com for correcting this issue.

    Property is good but management staff on front desk are not professional. I asked for plates or spoons and they did not have it, fine I understand. But talking like you are boss and making me feel how the hell you asked this question was not correct. When I asked for bottle opener they asked me to come down to reception with all bottles and they can only open at front desk. Really, you can not trust your customers for one bottle opener or can not send someone to room for it? These are basic of a hotel service, if I am not mistaken.
