The AC was noisy when switching automatically to a set thermostat. I noticed that no antibacterial soap is available. My sister noticed that the toilet bowl base (outside) was not properly cleaned and my sister wiped it off with toilet roll paper. Complimentary breakfast is okay, nothing fancy.

I was really disappointed. I know that this hotel is right by the airport, but we had too many roaches in our room! And not just 1 or 2... or even 5... and that is the sad part! We are really disappointed in LaQuinta.

Easy freeway access and no further than 1 mile away from the airport. It was tucked away between a Denny’s in the parking lot and an industrial building, making the ambiance very cozy. Plenty of parking! The staff knows how to effectively handle high volume of guests.

I’m in a family road trip we stay at least 5 or 6 days on la Quinta hotels and the only bad experience was at this property first I make a reservation for 3 double bed rooms but the give me one with only one bed also the person who do my check in was rude trying to charge me twice the pet fee they put us at one building separate from the building where the lobby was so to go get breakfast you need to walk all way to the other building is a little inconvenient I’m not used to put bad reviews unfortunately I have a bad experience

The Bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible, especially for putting on your makeup. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud. Overall we did enjoy the nice Staff.

The property was perfect for a last minute trip due to a family emergency more than enough space for family. The lady at the front desk was amazing and really helpful to my family and accommodating.

It was obvious they have made some upgrades to the decor in the rooms. The bed was comfortable. They staff worked diligently all day cleaning, doing the breakfast, offering coffee all day, etc Location is bad; construction and industrial buildings next door are a detractor. It’s not close to anything, especially not food options, with a very poorly serviced Denny’s being the only close food option. Old and stained carpets in the hallways. Outdoor pool which can’t be used with the cooler weather around the Bay Area, and no hot tub. Not enough bread choices or diverse breakfast options for a multiple day stay. The free shuttle took a break in the afternoon when we needed a ride from the airport.

The outside area, lobby area, elevator, hall, room and bathroom was clean. The front desk and the breakfast stuffs were friendly and polite. Breakfast was hot and tasty and coffee was fresh. Great breakfast experience. Breakfast area was clean. Plenty of parking. I love that I was able to park in the special veterans parking only spots. Overall, a great experience, will definitely stay again and recommended to friends and families.

Good value. Staff was very helpful but I think they were a little understaffed. I was unable to use the free airport shuttle because the driver just went on break and I would have to wait another hour (on top of the 30 minutes I already waited at the airport) to be picked up. Just bad timing I guess.

Absolutely terrible! Our room wasn’t connected to the lobby. We literally had to drive past train tracks to get to the building. When we go there we were disappointed. The carpet had cigarette burns, the hallways were dirty. The elevator was covered in scratched graffiti. The drywall was bubbles and cracked. Do not stay here!! We didn’t feel safe and left the property out of fear. I spoke to the main office and she said that we’re was nothing she could do. Never stay at this property. I have picture proof of everything I mentioned.

This place was an absolute nightmare from the moment we walked in. The front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. When we entered the room they gave us, it was DISGUSTING — completely trashed, dirty everywhere, and the beds looked like they had already been slept in. They moved us to a sketchy back building that felt extremely unsafe. There were deep scratches all over the walls and doors, like furniture or something heavy had been dragged through. The entire atmosphere gave very unsafe, human-trafficking-type vibes. We genuinely did not feel safe staying there. We ended up leaving immediately and booking another hotel. The staff basically told us, “Handle it with Expedia, not our problem,” and offered zero help or accountability. They kept saying the manager would be back in “15 minutes,” but hours passed and he still never showed up. It then took DAYS of constant communication just to finally get a refund. Worst hotel experience ever. Avoid this place at all costs.

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. I loved the working area but the hotel was noisy. I was working from my room and heard a lot of interruptions. I even went out in the common area to work and it was loud. But people seem to use the gym a lot and so its an active place. There was also a lot of interruptions from another guest across the room and the ambulance, fire department and staff were constantly at his room. So over all it was good if you are coming and going but not to spend the day to get work done.

Room was a little rough but okay for a one night stay. We were put in the north tower but booked main tower. North tower is quite a walk from main building. Staff was helpful to get us checked in early, so no complaints. 2nd time we stayed on property and we will consider other options with free airport shuttle next time. Breakfast closes way too early on weekdays.

This property is in need of updates and maintenance. Scratches and scuffs all over the walls, weeds and grass growing out of the roof and the gutters, just generally run down and out of date. Website indicated to expect shuttle service between 5 AM and 1 AM. Our plane arrived at 1:30 PM and we called to verify it was running and we’re told it was on a break until 3:30 p.m. very frustrating! Bed was comfortable, shower was good and breakfast was good. I would use somewhere else to say if and when we are back in town.

Clean and breakfast was good .But the door had gaps where the hall light could been seen when dark in room.

Breakfast surprised me with eggs and sausage (not just a simple muffin and maybe a yogurt like other hotels). One thing I probably should say is my room was clean aside from the toilet. The lid was up and it had skid marks (if you know what I mean.) Everything else was fine though. Just expect a little wear and tear around some things.

Staff at breakfast was friendly but front desk did not know where laundry room in the hotel was, they said it was in one of the floors when we called and we had to stop by all of them to find it. Room smelled weird and there was barely no water coming out of the bathroom sink. AC did not work the whole night, it kept turning off and was extremely noisy. Website said parking was complimentary and we had to pay more than $20 per night to park at the hotel parking spot (there was nothing else around us, no stores and no commerce so the parking was for guest only)

Breakfast was available from 6 AM to 9 AM, but we ended up going to a nearby Denny’s instead. During check-in, the interaction with the receptionist was pretty minimal. I understand it was a late shift, but guests should still receive helpful information about the hotel and their stay. Every hotel is different, and staff should share relevant details proactively rather than waiting for guests to ask questions.

The handicap room isn’t really handicap. There is a bathtub instead of a flat walk in shower and the space was difficult to get a wheelchair into the bathroom.

One thing that really stood out was how comfortable the beds were. The moment I laid down, I instantly felt like falling asleep. After a long day of traveling, it was exactly what we needed. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, but everything was kept fresh and restocked every 15–30 minutes. The waffle station was a great touch—you make the waffles yourself on the waffle machines, so they come out hot and fresh every time. Another plus was the large TV in the room, which made it easy to relax and unwind. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay and we would definitely book here again the next time we’re in the SFO area.

Normally, I don’t review this hotel when you book you had to be careful because there’s another building and it’s not attached to the first building and it’s like a almost a block away from the first building you even have to cross a train rails in our case, we didn’t have a car because we’re looking for a hotel just to stay one night so we had to walk across and he didn’t look safe and then also the room the water pressure. It was not good also and then also on the door, there’s a gap between the door and the floor so when you’re trying to sleep, you can see the light from the hall in the noise from the people outside it was a terrible hotel and it didn’t feel safe the whole night

This is an updated budget hotel with really cool funky flair. I loved my comfy fushia club chair, nice upgraded bathroom, dual queen beds, free REAL Breakfast with Bacon and eggs and Free airport Shuttle. Very kind and professional staff as well. Fantastic Value!

Was a great stay. Front desk staff very personable, housekeeping friendly, and had a great breakfast.

There were missing amenities in the bathroom and the mini fridge didn't work, which was very frustrating. When we arrived, the customer service was subpar. There were 3 people at the front desk, including an assistant manager, and I stood completely unacknowledged for a couple mins, which was an uncomfortable start to our stay.

Amenities, when I was booking I was looking for a shuttle service and this hotel advertised that it had a shuttle run on a LOOP from 5am til 1am, and to my surprise it wasn’t that, when I arrived to San Francisco at 1 pm I was waiting for the shuttle but never came, when called the hotel to see what time it will come they told me that there was a gap in between shifts of like 3 hrs. If that’s the case they need to update the website and emails sent because all the information in there it said different.

I got here late and had a flight early next morning! Check in was quick. Breakfast was really nice. And the shuttle bus service to the airport was really excellent!

There was an issue with the toilet.

I booked two rooms and we were very delayed getting checkin into one of the rooms. The toilet in that room was not working. We were in town for a game and hope it is fixed by the time we return to the hotel or have a an alternative room.

This hotel advertises a free airport shuttle every 40 minutes. That is absolutely not true. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes outside in the freezing cold with three children before the shuttle finally arrived. To make things worse, when we called the hotel to ask about the delay, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, simply saying “it is what it is” instead of offering any explanation or apology. Misleading information, no accountability, and zero empathy for families traveling with kids. This was a terrible first impression and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend relying on their shuttle service at all.

The front desk staff was not very helpful. There was a lack of communication—they gave me my room key but never told me that my room was located in a different building. I spent time looking for my room in the main building where the office is, until I finally called and they told me it was in another building. When I got there, the keys didn’t even work to open the doors. Very disappointing experience.

The rooms were nice but we were put in the second building even though breakfast is served in the main building, which was annoying to walk outside when cold, cant imagine how terrible it'll be if it rained. Their fire alarm system short circuited late at night (around 9:30 - 10 pm) which woke us up. Then their ice machine wasn't working, kept telling us it was delayed 60 minutes and just stayed at 60 minutes for over 2 hours. We were also told the rooms automatically get cleaned on the third day of your stay but our room was forgotten about. Called to at least get fresh towels but even though I called a few times, never received the towels. Their elevators had also stopped working after the fire alarm incident and had to call 3 times in order to get an update since we were on the 4th floor (already tired from walking around all day). Also, parking isn't free, for 2 nights it costs $47 - $48. Also, the walls are thin, could hear the kids from a family 3 doors down yelling. Their coffee maker looks like it's never been cleaned either which is disgusting. It seems that the quality of service that you receive depends on how much you pay. All in all, even though it's close to the airport, I highly recommend you find somewhere else.

I had house keeping knocking on my door every hour since 7am until check out

One of the worst check ins. Super rude, unfriendly and unprofessional front desk person. Shockingly bad. Acted like I was bothering her with my mere presence. Rushed me to fill out a form and demanded my ID and tried to grab the form that I hadn't had a chance to even fill out and made a pft sound because it wasn't complete in seconds. Threw my key card down and moved on to a personal phone call. I had to wait until she was done to ask for directions to my room. Turns out that it was in a completely different building that I had to drive to! Luckily I waited to find out. The room is decent if you don't mind the scratchiti elevators and dudes smoking weed in the parking by the door.

Nice property and very clean . Also the staff was very nice and very servicial. Everything was so nice ………. We are coming back.

Staff was great and rooms were as expected for this star level. It was difficult to navigate as there are 2 buildings, and Uber cannot locate the North building. Just be aware and add extra time.

Pros: cheap, close to airport, reliable shuttle to and from the airport, security provided on walk to second building, complimentary breakfast was decent, check out was a breeze, bathrooms seem to be newly remodeled and had amazing lighting for makeup, quiet, in room thermostat, blackout curtains, fulfilled request to put me in a quiet room

Breakfast was really good the employees tending to the food was on it😊 checking in was frustrating there was 3 customers waiting to be checked in, no one up front helping us, when a lady finally came out and was a guy she tells another guest to us the iPad to check in, which was dead. Then you have to pay to park ur vehicle, not sure if that's a thing but not cool

Place was convenient to SFO airport, easy check in, friendly staff, clean room and best of all great, well stocked breakfast buffet. And, for a change of pace, a dennys on the property.

I was disappointed to find that when I got there it would be an extra $18.00 charge for parking.

Rooms are dated though clean. I've stayed here before and will again as the staff are always nice and helpful, and the fee airport shuttle is convenient and on time.

This hotel has 2 buildings. One has all the amenities and the other is down the block. No shuttle between the two. You have to walk between the buildings and haul your own luggage. Thank goodness it wasn't raining or we would have gotten wet. Room was cleanish, but we had a bug in our bathroom. Oh, did I mention there were railroad tracks between the buildings? And not a nice part of town. And the ice machine in our building was broken so we had to walk to the other building to get ice. And the breakfast was in the other building and the airport shuttle pickup.

Stuff was very friendly. Very clean and quiet.

My room had no TV remote. I called the front desk and she told me she would bring me a new one but it never showed up. The bathroom sink had very poor water pressure. To top it off I received a parking ticket, even though I paid for parking via the QR code app. This is not a good hotel.

Great customer service. We arrived at 8 p.m. for check-in. We were greated and room was assigned. When we got to our room the air conditioning did not work and room temperature was at 80 degrees. We called the front desk, she tried to help, but unfortunately couldn't. The front desk quickly assigned us to a different room with working a/c and apologized for the inconvenience.

AC in the original room wasn't working, maintenance guy looked at it for 30 seconds then just left. Gentleman at the front counter changed our room, AC worked great.

Additionally, check in took an unreasonably long time even though the staff people were friendly.

The only issue we had is the TV remote would not work and needed new batteries. When we called during the evening about it, there was no one to help provide batteries. We were unable to utilize this amenity. I would suggest for something as easy as this, front desk should be able to provide batteries for the guest. Otherwise, just a pleasant stay.

Awesome stay good breakfast.

This hotel felt like a sketchy place! The floor was dirty. The hallway was loud all night with slamming doors and yelling people. The parking rate is outrageous and not included in what you pay upfront. It’s paid through another entity. You also have to pay through the app. And, Then they charge you a “convenience fee” on top of the huge charge. Super slimy way to scam more money from unsuspecting travelers.

We were in the North building and had to walkfrom the building to main for breakfast and passed thru old rail tracks, and old trains with graffitti. Not very nice

There are a couple of nagging issues. 1) There is PAID parking, not included You pay separately through a QR code that is posted on signs in the parking area. This detail is NEVER mentioned during registration or in confirmation messages. The rate is not posted on the signs. 2) Cable TV service is through DishTV, but the guide on the TV stubbornly says "No Information". 3) We tried to sign in to our own Netflix account (the hotel does not provide guests with one), but kept getting messages that the TV had no internet (despite multiple attempts to use the hotel's WiFi and that the TV is connected to a DishTV ethernet cable). We gave up eventually and used a laptop. 4) The property is nestled between MUNI lines and the 101 freeway. Inside the room, it is pretty quiet. The nearest dining option is Denny's (same parking lot). There are a few fast food options nearby, maybe 0.5 mile away, but anything else will likely require transportation. 5) The hotel has two buildings, separated by disused railroad tracks.

I think everything was fine - except we had to go down everyday for new key cards - they stopped working and we picked this hotel because of pool and was closed for maintenance - wish I knew before

Nice place, clean and simple, good gym, good breakfast, quick to all bay area points.

Because I had prepaid and it was nonrefundable, my refund request was denied. I could not simply leave, because I could not afford to just lose the cash and stay elsewhere. It was one of the worst rooms I have stayed in.

The bed was comfortable and bathroom was good. The Continental breakfast was mediocre at best. There's a Denn's next door that's was okay.

Terrible hotel. The pool was down, TV didn’t work, got locked out of our room because of faulty deadbolt, terrible water pressure, had to walk to other building. Would never stay here again. Strongly recommend going somewhere else.

One of the light bulbs was out, and the bathroom door squeaked when it closed. Breakfast was lacking in variety; on our second day, everything was gone an hour and a half before the scheduled closing time. No fruit, no muffins, no waffles, no milk... nothing!

Property has two buildings and second one is completely isolated. No check in facility available and you have to walk with luggage to reach your room through a railway crossing.

The facility is fairly clean, but some maintenance is needed. There are scratches on the wall and not all drawers are opened. Although we are in the middle of the railroad track and the freeway, it is pretty quiet. Our suggestion is to stay at the main building if possible.

The staff is always lovely. It's the north building that is bad - we needed a security escort to get to our room and the area around the railroad tracks and building was dirty and scary - even the next morning.

We book this hotel bcoz of pool but it was under maintenance and no one notify us . Our kids were disappointed.

Conveniently located. Denny’s next door is a plus. The deluxe suite was very spacious with two bedrooms and living area with several windows and good views. Breakfast was good with hot and cold items. Overall very satisfied.

Stayed here for a quick trip north to a Valkyries game. Room was clean and the constant fan option in the room helped buffer out the highway noise. Room was adequate but not any extra room for 3 people. Bed was comfortable and hallways were quiet. Dennys across the parking lot was very convenient for a late meal after the game. Would stay here again.

Broke faucet, non working dryer, door frames too wide for door, no complimentary water, building too far to walk in rain in the mornings for breakfast.

Overall not good… the front desk was not good and the customer service… I would not recommend…

There’s a Denny’s right next door. Convenient location. Costco, Subway, Hertz, KFC, Taco Bell within walking distance. Cleaning lady a little too eager to get into our room. Very humid so carpet always felt damp. Maybe hardwood or laminate floors would be better suited. Ladies at front desk were great. Breakfast was good.

Room was clean and spacious. It was near the airport, but plane noise wasn’t bad at all. Bonus was the muffins and fruit left by the door as we left for an early flight and didn’t get breakfast.

It takes about ten minutes drive to the airport which is not bad. Con: The room is not spacious and the facilities are pretty old. The breakfast is very simple.

The rooms were impeccable—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location is fantastic. The parking lot is spacious and easy to access, which made coming and going hassle-free. My room was well-equipped with convenient amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, a TV with a great selection of channels, and fast, reliable WiFi. Everything I needed was right there. I want to give a special shoutout to Tina at the front desk. I had a hectic itinerary, and she helped me navigate it like a champ—she was professional, patient, and went above and beyond. I stayed for an entire week and had a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area. You won’t be disappointed!
