Hotels.com is a scam, the fact that you could not issue a refund for a simple booking error is laughable. Your website defaults the book date to whatever day they want as you make the reservation.. not the day of like it should. Therefore if you aren't careful, you book the wrong date and a refund is not an option. What a joke. I would never recommend using Hotels.com ever.

Yes The food was horrible. The breakfast was nasty all pork. Everybody don’t eat pork and everybody don’t eat oatmeal.

The room was super clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar had a large variety of different foods. I also love that the hotel is located next to many restaurants and shopping plazas. The pool was not heated, it was very cold.

The breakfast was awesome. Liked coffee in room. Indoor swimming pool and exercise room was fantastic. Loved proximity to mall restaurants etc. I wish there had been a trash can in the hallway.

Everything was great… except the bed. The hotel was clean the people were great the breakfast was awesome, but the bed was really bad.

The front desk staff was very kind and welcoming. The room was very clean. Breakfast was very good. It is located right beside of a mall. We did not shop there though. It was close to TJ Maxx and Ross and other places to shop. We were in town for a volleyball tournament, so we were not in the hotel much. However, I would stay here again.

The only thing that was very annoying only because we stayed 4 nights is the very loud room door slams up and down the floor as people were leaving in the morning. I am sure they could adjust that!

But overpriced for what it is. Minimal service. Cardboard breakfast. Horrible room coffee. Bed super comfy. Walls like paper. Could hear the dog in the room next door walking on those fake wood floors. Iwould never pay from my own pocket for the place. Nice shower and easy parking. The musty smell is gone at least 😛

No complaints. The couple of things that threw me off guard was they take your money out right after check-in if you haven’t arrived yet. I never had that issue but was just taken by surprise. Check in was great though. No complaints. Pretty quick and the room was clean. The bed was too soft for our liking but if you enjoy soft mattresses , this is the spot for you. No complaints , bathroom was spacious, our room was spacious as well. Everyone was friendly. Great location. Guests were friendly as well. I’d recommend for sure.

I requested a late check out due to being up late with a hotel maintenance issue . The gentleman said 12:30/1pm was fine to check out . At 1:05pm as my daughter and I were walking out with our luggage to leave the front desk clerk lady called to notify me I was being charged an extra $45 for late check out !!!

Easy to get to dining options.

The very disappointing part of our trip was the pool. Very nice accomodations of an indoor pool with dehumidifier and well maintained; however, the heater was not on or not working, and the pool was frigid. It felt it was in the low 70s or high 60s. Too cold to enjoy, which is really a shame for such a nice pool. Otherwise, room was adequate with hot water and clean accomodations.

Second time staying here in a month. Great location, clean and safe. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Later check-in (10-00pm) with hotel fully booked. The bathroom of our room smelled of excrement, but this disappeared after several flushings of the toilet and with the (very) noisy fan running. The bed was very comfortable, the room reasonably clean, but the tv had no signal. The shower was adequate but the curtain of the shower and low lip of the beading did not prevent water from flowing out of the shower and into the floor drain in the middle of the bathroom. The bathroom floor remained wet & slippery. For $225 we did not consider this good value. When we advised reception of our concerns we were told the room had been chosen by Expedia. We have booked a different hotel (directly and not through Expedia) for our return journey home.

Stay was good . Hotel clean, beds comfortable, breakfast good and staff very accommodating and friendly. Indoor pool was closed and the indoor pool was the main reason we booked this hotel.

Room was clean and spacious. Very welcome cup building with a quiet environment inside and out. Will stay again in the near future as we are returning to Spartanburg. Breakfast was decent every morning with a variety to choose from.

The lighting in the room, and especially the bathroom, was too soft to tell what you looked like to attend outside events. The soft lighting is good for relaxing and resting but not for getting dressed and applying makeup and seeing what you look like to attend an event.

The overall room was clean but I found a bug in my bed.

This is our second stay at this property. One of the best things about our stay was John who oversees breakfast. He has a friendly word and smile for everyone. He is attentive and keeps the hot food replenished and the area sparkling clean. He will start your day in the right direction! The facility is nice, clean and newly refurbished. Close to shopping and dining. The perfect place for us. Thank you John for great service and great conversation!

I was in Spartanburg with friends to visit a few wineries. Aside from some hair on the shower walls (yuck!) the property was fairly cleaned and well maintained. Breakfast was good and customer service was excellent.

Easy on/off highway with 2 excellent restaurants within walking from hotel. Joshua at the front desk gave us a 10% discount card for one of them (heirloom) and it was very good. Breakfast was good with friendly attendant named John. Very nicely run hotel and was a welcome restful place after a long day of driving.

This property was convenient for our travel needs, however we were very disappointed with this Hampton Inn. My husband prefers the Hampton chain, but after this stay we will not be coming back. The door to our first room was falling off it's hinge, there was a cockroach in the room, the window ac unit roared and rattled all night long and it took a while to get checked into the hotel (only one staff person working on a Thursday night at 5:00 pm).

The hotel is undercontruction. The lobby area is clean but a mess. My room had a dip in the floor at the bathroom. I almost slipped and fell. Overall, the hotel was nice and the staff is super friendly.

The Hampton Inn staff did their best to accomodate their guests. I was disappointed to find that neither the pool nor the fitness center was available due to the hotel's remodeling construction. I probably would not have booked if I knew the actual condition of the hotel when I arrived. I feel that a discounted rate should have been offered to compensate for the condition of the hotel.

Service and facilities were excellent. Our room was nice and clean. There was no soap or cups on the bathroom vanity. Renovations were going on in the lobby and first floor areas. Breakfast was very limited , because of the renovations I am sure.

The place was clean but a lot of construction was going on. Breakfast was grab and go which was honestly a bit disappointing. Coffee frequently cold. They should keep a microwave available to at least warm up the coffee.

Under construction, beds weren’t very comfortable and pillows were flat! Called down for sheets and blanket for fold out couch twice. Waited 2 hours and went downstairs and got them myself.

No internet in the room

The staff was nice enough. There is a LOT of construction going on and its right next to a couple of restaurants between that and the construction we had to park at the next hotel and walk. The TV remotes have no guide so you can't find the channel you are looking for-One night I requested some plastic flatware to eat something I brought in and they had NONE-they serve breakfast......how could they have none.

Great hotel. The breakfast buffet in the mornin was one of the best we have ever had. The only negative thing was the toilet ran continuously. I had to fix it just to be able to sleep. Reported at check out. Room 319

All was fine other than the bathtub and tile walls not thoroughly clean. Hair on tile walls and the tub floor had a large 6’ or 7’ spot near the drain that was clearly dirty scum from a previous guest’s use. Toilet bowl not thoroughly cleaned either. Everything else at the hotel was good.

Nice and clean, spacious king studio. There was no hot water to shower in the evening. We stayed for the daughter's voleyball tourney and there was a lot of teams staying, so I understand. But still for the price I wanted warm water for shower and I can't rate it better than ok.

Our first trip in March there were minor cosmetic flaws in the room such as the tub stopper was broken and there were light fixtures that were broken, the light worked but the actual fixture was falling apart. The second trip the middle of April was much the same experience with light fixtures actually broken, multiple lights did not work. For just one night we tolerated it, however the next time we are in Spartanburg will will be choosing a different hotel.

This hotel was wonderful and all the staff were SUPER friendly!

Bed was fairly comfy. Hotels need pillows that you don't need 3 put together just to make one. Shower needs some work. Good amount of counter space in bathroom and room in general. Room carpets (rooms in general) could use a good deep cleaning. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This was the 2nd time we've stay here in the last 6 months and applies to both stays.

Rooms were clean, well kept. Bathroom tub stopper was broken but was still able to use with a little of maneuvering.

I did not like the fact that the bathroom tub had rust in it not a little bit of rust but a lot of rust in the tub

When I arrived I was informed that they had to move me to another hotel because they had no hot water. It was disappointing not to know ahead of time that I had been moved.

We were put in a Hilton Hotel down the street as the Hampton Inn had major water problems. It was a nice hotel.
