The person who checked me in was short and rude. There was a large and very aggressive dog across from my Dads room. And you couldn’t tell how many people were staying in that room. I was only there for 12 hours and saw 7 different people. The final straw I asked for an extra blanket for my elderly father and the VERY rude manager said he would get one for my Dad and asked for his room. And NEVER brought him the blanket. It was a VERY VERY bad experience.

Trash can by front door was overflowing when we arrived. Had to wait over ten minutes for someone to show up to the front desk and was then informed we would have to wait for an hour and a half for someone to show up and check us in. There was no luggage cart available for us to take all of our belongings to our room. The carpets were stained badly in many places giving the place a very unhealthy look. I will say the employees had no control over the fact there was no luggage cart available although the owners could at least provide two carts to the hotel. Your company needs to do a better job of caring for this property. Mentioned above

The laundry room needs new washers and dryers. Some of those items were broken, and it needed to be replaced, along with the place being dirty and appearing to be in use with hotel washing too. The hotel might need some security staff members indoors to protect the customers while staying on the property. The staff members were slightly rude and/or appeared to be trying to joke about me being there. The staff members wouldn't allow me to do early check-in. There appeared to be a lot of housekeepers doing their jobs and cleaning where they might have started cleaning around 6AM-8AM, but none of the rooms were ready before 1:00 pm? Strange. I only wanted one bed and a kitchen. The room was about 100 dollars a night. That is all I could afford. I stayed an extra night because I didn't really want to go back to my current situation with these losers. I can't seem to get a job. I was trying to escape a problem that had been bothering me in a place where I live now. I think they followed me out to that place.

The linen smelled- like it was forgotten in the washer. I had to sleep on the towel due to the smell. The room itself was musty also like it had a flood. The room was in the midst of small remodel. It was appreciated but a deep clean in the tiles are needed. Heavy traffic areas in the bathroom, are we are showering. The floor just felt dirty to step on. Shower was new and good water pressure. What happened to the breakfast?

As a solo female traveler I prefer to not be in a first floor room and asked to be moved to an upper floor on check-in. My request was refused because the hotel was sold out, even though other guests had not yet arrived. The next day I was again told I could not move my room because the hotel planned to put guests who had not yet arrived in those upper rooms. I was frustrated that this hotel was completely unwilling to alter its room assignments, even when rooms were unoccupied.

The only thing I didn't like was that they don't just charge a one-time pet fee like most other hotels do in this area. Instead of being a single $35 for your entire stay, it's $35 every night that you're there! A four day stay cost me almost as much as if I had stayed another two nights!

Pillows were really comfortable, bed was decent. Large kitchen with full fridge which was really nice. Even though we were close to the freeway I didn’t hear any road noise, the hotel was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The first room we went to was not very clean. The smell of dog was overwhelming and there was pet hair on the counter, toilet, and in the tub. The receptionist was great about understanding and offering us a different room. The second room was very clean and nice.

Room was sizeable and well furnished. Everything was clean & functional. Hotel was adjacent to freeway, so it wasn't great to have the window open but wasn't terrible or smelly either. A great Mex restaurant was a short walk away, as was the Centennial Trail along the river which extends to Spokane and Couer d'Alene. Price was reasonable but not great for a place WAY out in the valley. I seriously downgraded as the hotel had no record of the 3 day reservation I'd made many months prior thru booking.com. Much worse, both the desk clerk & their manager assumed ZERO responsibility for the error or the position it put me in, simply blaming booking. Realistically, this was the hotel chain's responsibility as they bought the property from another hotel chain after the time I booked my reservation. The core problem is that the new chain failed to reconcile the reservation list they maintained with that from Booking.com. I has arrived for a high school reunion nearby, after a 500 mile bike ride. And the hotel staff merely says "not our problem." THAT justifies the downgrade.

It was a 2 star hotel so my expectations were not high. It was relatively clean although the room across the hall from me was open for several days due to a mildew smell complaint from a different occupant. I appreciated having the kitchenette. It was a 2 star hotel so my expectations were pretty low. The staff did not seem to be well informed about the hotel's policies. The construction of the building allows sound to travel. Whenever someone opened a door within 3-4 rooms from my room, it sounded like someone was trying to get into my room. Very disconcerting. The pet relief area was steep incline, making it hazardous for folks with mobility issues. Also the room rates vary wildly and the price I paid was far above what was being offered for the same nights after I checked in.

Hotel is located far into the eastern Spokane Valley, about 8 mi from the ID border. Inconvenient for most purposes, but perfect for my purposes. A short walk away is an excellent Mexican restaurant with good service and great drinks. The Centennial Trail is about 1/3mi away. Room was large and included a servicable kitchen. I wouldn't stay here unless I had interests in the eastern Spokane Valley. Way too far from the action in Spokane proper. More importantly for my stay was the utter unwillingness of the staff to resolve a big problem created by the corporate take-over of the prior owner of this hotel building. I made my reservations long in advance, and this corporation took it over. It then sent me promotional emails. But when I showed up at the front desk after a 60 mi bike ride, they had *no* record of my reservation for a 3-day stay. And did nothing to help; they simply pointed at Booking. They utterly failed at their responsibilities as a business or as a front desk & management staff.

We had a super late check in due to travel taking longer than expected. It wasn't too much of a hassle to do that. The lady at the Front Desk said there was a pet fee (which I don't recall being stated up front) of $35 but that they don't usually let cats stay, which is odd since it says they do in their listing. She ultimately let the cat stay. The room was clean & decently setup. The shower floor liner was rusted & not in the best of shape, you could tell that they tried to paint over it in the past. The pillows that they provided were terrible. The bedding they provided was very thin & not the best. The price for a night was cheap, but I likely would not stay here again.

When I informed the front desk of the smell she barged into my room and acted like she couldn’t smell a thing. Gaslighting was insane. I also paid a high amount a night for my stay and when I checked the price while I was there it was half the price a night. I feel like I was completely misled by not only the property but the platform(hotels.com) that I use for all my travel. Setting a better example is advice I would give to both entities.

My room had a horrible stench that didn't relent my entire 3 day stay. Not sure if it was a moldy filter in the AC/heat unit, something in the garbage disposal before I arrived, something in the carpet or something else. I left the bathroom fan and stove fan running every day while I was out and HOURS later when I returned it still smelled awful. The carpet/floor was gross. I always travel with a clean pair or socks that I wear around the room while I am getting ready for bed in the evening and my clean socks were FILTHY after about 20 minutes. I also had a problem with my key card not working when I returned to the hotel every day of my stay accompanied by a long wait in line to get the front desk to fix it. After a long tiring day doing the thing I was in town to do everyday - waiting in line holding armsful of my belongings before I could get into the room was extremely frustrating. Overall - definitely not my favorite hotel stay. Other than those things my stay was adequate. My check-in clerk was friendly and the facility was reasonably quiet and felt safe enough.

We had stayed at this hotel many times when it was the My Place Hotel and loved it. Sadly, this time we felt unsafe, our room smelled horribly and we had a package stolen. The manager claims it was picked up/returned to UPS three days after it was delivered (and two days before our arrival) but the driver has stated he never went to pick up the package once he delivered it three days prior. UPS still does not have the package 10 days later. The room smelled horribly and the manager treated us with complete and utter disrespect. We did call the hotel ahead of time to ask if we could send a package and were told yes that would be no problem. The manager then claimed they only accept packages if you are in the hotel that day, which we were never told and our package arrived five days before our arrival. It was a 1.4lb box. The manager refused to help us (if the package was picked up UPS would have given him a receipt) and even the front end staff didn't know about this policy of not holding a package for a few days until we arrive. It is unfortunate that such a great hotel has turned into something so bad. We would still like to know where our items are.

The initial front desk attendant wasn't the friendliest . You can immediately smell a foul smell once you reached the hallway. The room did not smell good either. There were a ridiculous amount of patched up areas throughout the room from someone or something punching through the walls which included the shower. Damage everywhere! The pillowcases had black smudge stains on it. The headboard wasn't wiped. It had smudges all over. The ironing board looked disgusting. It should be burned and thrown away. The bed and pillows were awful. You can smell whatever was being cooked seep into your room. The frame creaked like it was gonna collapse at any moment. I don't know how this hotel it ranked so high on hotel.com. I stayed here years ago when it was new so it was fine. But I wish I researched google or another website. Highly disappointed overall. Beds were really comfortable, lots of space, clean, only complaint is that housekeeping didn’t come in the entire week we were there, although we did try to get them to - but we loved it and already booked our next trip there!

The gal in the evening was so sweet, I can't remember her name, but she was going through some medical challenges and still a delight. The day guy manager not so much. I told him every time I put a paper cut in the microwave it starts burning. He told me you shouldn't do that. Get another cup. There were no other cups, but I have never heard of not putting a paper plate with your food in the microwave as I have been my entire life. He seemed to care less about the burning.

Our toilet did not flush. We called desk around 9:30. No one came. My husband went down to get a plunger. Much effort on our part, with some clearing. But it did not work through night. We realized we could use public restroom on main floor in morning. Yikes. We were told this room had had that problem repeatedly. They should not have rented us this room.

At checkin we were told no breakfast included and coffee only offered in lobby. Went to room and found coffee packs and upon further hunting in cupboards found a mini coffee maker. There were pots and pans and a couple of plates but no utencils or dish soap. Vacuuming was done poorly as we found plastic from a pack of new socks at the side of the bed. This hotel takes pets but unfortunately has carpeting in the living area. The receptionist had no idea where a market was but we found one 5 minutes away. And, last, this hotel is right off the freeway and very noisy.

The rest was pretty bad - it’s not clean. It’s very loud. Cleaning crew tried to come in the room the second morning even tho the DND sign was up. The front desk staff was oddly pushy about check-out (it was 9:30a, we were taking our luggage out but not ready to check out yet.) The rooms are in terrible disrepair. The walls are super thin so it’s very noisy. The hotel smells bad. The price to stay was low, but even for the price, this was pretty terrible. Absolutely do not recommend.

When we arrived at the usual check in time the room we were given wasn’t clean. There was debris and a hair band on the floor, toothpaste splatters on the mirror and food residue on the table. When I reported the issue to the front desk, the receptionist didn’t offer to put us in a different room. She said she’d make a note of it and said she was sorry for our inconvenience.

This hotel was great for my child and myself traveling for sports. It was conveniently located off I-90, close to restaurants and shopping. The property was clean and in decent condition. It was a quiet area of Spokane Valley. The little kitchenette was great, except there were not any pots, silverware, etc available. I'm glad we didn't plan on using the cooktop, or we would have had to make a run to Walmart to buy our own cookware. Tip for the hotel: spring for better toilet paper. This was quite possibly the worst toilet paper I've ever used. It was thinner than RV toilet paper. If you're looking for a hotel with a bunch of amenities, this isn't your spot. It's a clean, affordable room.

I have couple of remarks to make. Road signage was poor. I passed the hotel because the signage was on the side of the building, which was not very visible from the road, especially in rush hour traffic. The light is the room was not focalized. Ceiling lights were one circuit except for the bathroom and a bedside lamp. I did not need the light in the kitchen area. It was a waste of energy. There were no ports to charge electronics without one carrying a special one to plug into a wall outlet. I was pleased to see the many electrical wall outlets. I didn't realize until I left the area, the clerk did not give me a copy of my receipt when I check-out in the morning around 9 AM. I did have trouble turning on the water tap in the showers for hot water which was minimal. The beds were very comfortable.

The guy that checked us into the hotel was decent to begin with. Once in our room and going to shower we noticed there was a dirty towel hanging from the shower rod in the bathroom. I went down to talk to him about it and could tell he didnt want to do anything about it, but there were other guests at the counter checking in so he was forced to do something. He refunded our pet fee. If you bring a pet into this particular hotel as they are welcome you will be charged $20. Just makes me wonder what other steps housekeeping is missing in this location. Hotel is convenient right off I90 and seemed to be a decent part of town. Had a pet area right out the side door with poop bags. Overall a decent place but needs some work done possibly by housekeeping

Check in process was terrible: there were people blasting music in their cars while grilling and after I expressed my concerns about them. The front desk lady said they were the workers/guests and that’s how they cook their food. Each room has a kitchenette. And at 11pm makes me very uncomfortable with my car parked close to them. Second. When we got our room keys. We proceeded to go to our room on the top floor and the neither of the keys worked. We returned to the front desk and got replacements. Returned to our room and had to fidget with the key for a solid few minutes before the door would open. Being exhausted we were just happy to get in. Then the smell hit. The window was left open in 100 degree weather so the room felt like a sauna. And then the smell. Someone had definitely used the room to smoke heroine in it. Probably why the window was left open to air it out. They did give us a new room. But there wasn’t any sort of concern about our findings. And no sort of compensation for our troubles. 0/10 worst experience of our life.

Overall good Place to stay...I would choose MYplace over some of the spots downtown spokane wrecked with homeless/suspicious people walking around

This was the worst experience we have ever had. I didn’t realize that any person could just slap a My Stay brand on any old run down hotel without the promise of the previous experiences we’ve had in other locations. The parking lot was FULL of beer bottles and twisted tea cans and there were people openly drinking on their tail gates. Check in was awful. No greeting. Just rushing me off. The ‘staff’ does not care about common courtesy or decency when it comes to their guests in any capacity. The floor we were on was full of grown adults and kids that had their doors propped open, yelling and laughing, and there were screaming kids running up and down the hallways and riding the elevators until after 1AM. I had to ask them several times to be quiet but ultimately ended up getting dressed, going downstairs to demand that the staff actually do something about it. I was met with annoyance and had no communication back from the lady at the front desk, but the staff went up and asked them to be quiet. She left afterwards without a word to me and went back downstairs. What a nightmare.

The staff was not good . The area around was ok there’s a mall near by and close to downtown! But the staff was not helpful at all no one spoke to us the whole 3 days we were there and no house keeping came they left some random dirty towels in front of our door. They have no amenities and no breakfast. They keep replying to the reviews that they’re working on these things but they’re obviously not. So to pay $350 it was very poor service. I usually don’t leave reviews because I just let it go but this interaction I couldn’t.
