Some guests also mention that the price is not worth the quality of service provided.

The on-site staff were not helpful and it took me hours to resolve this error over the phone with Expedia. I still haven't been given an explanation
- 5/5
The food was incredible! Room service and front desk were amazing and I would stay here every time I visit Spokane.
- 5/5
We did valet parking which was great they took care of our things while waiting to get in. Had a wonderful lunch there and dinner. Newly renovated and rooms are spacious.
- 5/5
Gorgeous hotel. Very clean Extremely friendly employees.
- 5/5
The beds, the breakfast, the amenities! NA
- 5/5
Clean and quiet place
- 4/5
Room large and very clean. Hotel looked like it had been recently refreshed. I didn't like that they charge the hotel guests the same price to park in the hotel garage as anyone who drives in for the day. Seems to me there should be some discount since you are paying for a room and buying other services such as food in the hotel.

I would recommend trying the safari room food. We had the flatbreads and it was great.
- 5/5
Room service was timely and the food was delicious. The location was very walkable to all the downtown attractions and restaurants. The beds are amazing I was not displeased with anything
- 4/5
I liked the central location of this hotel. It’s elegant, with reasonably large rooms and L’Occitane products. The portion size and quality of the breakfast in the Safari room was very acceptable. Our Saturday server was exceptional - she knew we were in a hurry and gave us fresh coffee in to go cups. I also appreciated the garage was available till 6p on checkout day. The breakfast service at the Safari room was quite slow. Actually, very slow. It took about 45 minutes to get our food, leaving 15 minutes to eat before we had to leave. Also, the hotel initially denied breakfast was included, even though my booking.com reservation said it was. After I showed the confirmation email, the staff blamed communication with booking.com and said the info had not been transmitted. Lastly, $28 per day for parking seems high for Spokane.

Great location, in/out parking very handy.. can park at the Grande near the river city park with same pass which is great
- 2/5
The AC was broken and loud. The staff would not switch me rooms. Then said they would not offer any refunds or do anything to make it right because I booked through Expedia.
- 5/5
Amazing room, amazing staff!! If there was a continental breakfast we would stay here every time!
- 4/5
We got there early and tried to check in. The front desk staff advised rooms were available but we would be charged $50! That’s just mean and greedy for a business to treat a return customer. I’m not sure I’ll stay there again.
- 5/5
The hotel was lovely to stay in. Guest services was helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was amazing. Breakfast in the hotel lobby was quite good - especially the Eggs Benedict! Overall a wonderful stay!
- 5/5
Great experience overall. Will most definitely return

Really like the interior design of the hotel, very elegant and fancy. Other than the parking was a little tricky to figure out that was about it

The worst bed in Spokane.
- 2.5/5
Great breakfast at the grand! 2 rude valets at the tower!!!! Filthy sliding glass doors- not valets job I was informed! Valets did not touch our luggage........ rudest employees ever encountered the one did only say half a curse word tho;) disgusted. And our complaint hadn't reached any superior the next day nor did the bar charge for our drinks- not professional:(

The staff is always very friendly and our room is great, guiet and roomy. We love sitting in the lonby by the fireplace and havinf a late night drink.

Very friendly staff, great room, convenient to downtown! And the most comfy bed ever!!
- 2/5
Been staying at Davenport Hotels every year for over 15 years. This was the worst experience to date. The front desk attendant was rude, refused to give my wife a new room key, made me walk down with my ID with a sprained ankle, even tho we had already been staying at the hotel for 2 days, and checked in together. When told “you remember checking us in” attendant rudely said “yeah well I see a lot of people in a day”….old management remembered us by name everytime we stayed, along with remembering every other guest staying their hotel at the time (as good hotels do). All beverage vending machines removed from hotel, and nowhere to buy bottled water. Asked the front desk attendant, and they told us to take a cup down to the gym and USE THE WATER FOUNTAIN. Unacceptable. Then the other attendant said the would send 2 bottles of water up to our room, and just never did. Our bathroom was DIRTY upon arrival, and I have pictures to document. Elevator floors filthy, hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time (my young son stepped on a staple in the elevator when going down to the pool barefoot in the elevator…again, never a problem before). No longer provide amenities in room. Valet was sitting on his cell phone and we had to wait until he was done with a personal call to get our vehicle. Extremely disappointing stay. Worst stay in the 15 years of Davenport stays. Won’t be coming back to the tower.
- 5/5
Such a clean, nice hotel!
- 3/5
For the price it was not any better than a typical generic hotel. Plus you pay for coffee and breakfast.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Really good choices for breakfast! Nice bar and Staff
- 5/5
Wonderful room with a fabulous breakfast this morning. We love the Davenport!
- 3/5
Overpriced for what you get. With parking, fees, and not even complimentary coffee in the morning ($6 for a cup of black coffee), the price almost doubles. Housekeeping didn't even come in and at least give us towels. Disappointing
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
We loved the lounge area in the lobby. Enjoyed a glass of wine and appetizers by the fireplace. Awesome!
- 5/5
Gym and Pool meticulously cleaned
- 3/5
It was very nice, but the people in the room next to us were very loud all night long.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and very freindly helpful staff.
- 5/5
The staff at the Tower are phenomenal! We had an issue with our AC unit and they had the engineering team there within 10min (at 9pm) to check it out. Unfortunately there was a bigger issue with the systems in that particular room. But they were able to move us to another room within 10 min. We had two tired kids that really appreciated getting to bed on time.
- 5/5
Staff is always terrific, rooms are comfortable and clean. Never disappointed when we stay here!
- 5/5
Service excellence award!
- 4/5
We checked in early for a fee, but they failed to tell us it was the ADA room. Our room also didn’t have a fridge. The mattress was super comfy but it had 5 of the flimsiest pillows ever. The soaps provided are Loccitane which are nice! I appreciated the 12pm checkout too.
- 4/5
Good news is they are in process of replacing all these beds according to the front desk when we reported our sleeping experience.
- 4/5
Great sty, service and room
- 5/5
The Davenport never disappoints! Especially during the holidays!
- 2/5
No remote was in the room, the Kleenex box ran after a few tissues, the shower soap ran empty, but worst of all could hear the person vomiting at 4:10 am in the morning clearly. I assume it was through the pass through door if you were using adjoining rooms.
- 5/5
& deliver to the room, but then never did.
- 5/5
Room was great, staff was the best very friendly kind and held conversation. Very cool themed hotel.
- 5/5
Always clean and comfortable. Also very convenient location.
- 5/5
Spotless room, great service
- 4/5
Clean room but bathroom floor tiles need fixed. Staff was very friendly and food was great!
- 3/5
The property is starting to look worn; cleanliness in main spaces was not great. Floors, glass and elevators need cleaning desperately. The kitchen got every one of my room service orders wrong. Probably won't be back.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
Always clean, friendly staff!
- 5/5
Location and friendliness of the staff
- 1/5
There were cockroaches everywhere and what looked like semen stains on the bed, I doubt housekeeping ever visited the room, but neither did we, since WE CANCELLLED 3 day before our stay, and still billed us. Highly do NOT recommend. They'll charge you NO MATTER what!
- 5/5
Great staff great food
- 5/5
The staff was exceptional! The food and drinks were amazing!
- 5/5
Great place to stay and convenient place to stay. Awesome staff
- 5/5
Everything was perfect as always.
- 4/5
Luckily when we arrived we were greeted by a very nice receptionist that happily made all of our requests happen. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was wonderful everywhere and assisted us with our cake. The pool/hot tub was great and was nice how warm it was in January. Also the food was fantastic. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the lady I spoke to on the phone. Our family agreed to make it an annual tradition trip
- 3/5
Checkin and had to find a cart, load it and push it to our room which was difficult for 79 yr olds because the cart itself is heavy

Front desk guy

Great stay, very nice hotel
- 5/5
Hotel was very nicely maintained, good location
- 5/5
Great valet service, front desk, room and view. Elevators work perfectly, bartender was great, decor is beautiful. Great price!

- 4/5
Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms and central location downtown. Service was polite, but slow and the food quality of the onsite restaurants was disappointing.
- 5/5
A lovely place to stay!
- 5/5
not at this time
- 5/5
Friendly Valet and front desk. Clean room. Slow time before Holidays… gave me a great room in the 17th floor.
- 5/5
Lovely experience
- 5/5
Great staff, clean, great service. Treatment of our pet was wonderful.
- 5/5
The stressed were friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful.
- 5/5
Great Location and great breakfast!
- 3/5
Check in staff not super friendly. Seemed bored. She gave us one sample of peanut brittle “as Marriott Bonvoy members.” We asked for one more sample as there were two of us and she said, “No. I’m sorry. There’s only mone per reservation.” Seriously? A high end hotel couldn’t cough up one more peanut brittle sample? Then to add insult to injury, we walked into our room only to find a truck backing into a parking spot directly outside our window. We went to the front desk to change rooms, which we were able to do, after having been told that we got “what was leftover because you checked in so early. If you’d checked in at the check in time the room selection would have been better.” Really? We stay in hotels an average of 7 weeks per year and have literally never been “penalized” for checking in early.
- 5/5
The place was beautiful, our room was spacious, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the whole experience was a winner. It was all topped off by the amazing help we got from the Lost and Found department after we drove home and discovered we'd left our passports locked in the hotel room safe!
- 5/5
Clean room and early check in was great!
- 5/5
It was awesome!
- 5/5
Amazing staff great room and great time!
- 4/5
Clean and beautiful room and lobby nicely decorated for the holidays.
- 5/5
Xavier was fantastic for our check in. Great establishment!!
- 3/5
The room was good. The restaurant was way expensivd. Do not bill anything to your room and for the parking is a nightmere i got double charged for both my in room dining experiencd plus my parking in there parking garage. They need to fix there system. I would honestly go through the website if your going to book this hotel.
- 3/5
Didn’t like the extra amenity fee. Mold and mildew in the shower.
- 3/5
No fridge in the room and the Wi-Fi isn't secured/there's no password. I would feel safer with a password, and I've never been to a hotel without a fridge, and with this one being on the expensive side, one would expect a fridge and drinking fountains/areas to fill up water bottles. I'm also not sure if it's just because of where my room was or if it's an overall thing, but the AC units were noisy and quite annoying. Sounded like a dog barking just once every few seconds or couple minutes. The staff were all very nice, though. I would've also preferred to be told about the incidentals fee (I didn't know or read about that anywhere) and it would have been nice to have been told that you have to ask for housekeeping - but this could just be me being an idiot.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, beautiful and unique safari theme. Comfortable bed! Parking across the street is not ideal, but if you stay downtown, that seems to be the standard. Better than trying to find street parking!
- 5/5
Spotless room, great food, excellent service. I've stayed here many times and it is always perfection.
- 5/5
The room was really clean and comfortable. The restaurant was really good. Overall would definitely recommend
- 5/5
Bar staff was exceptional - quality customer service!!
- 5/5
We didnt eat breakfast there. The only issues we had was no microwaves to warm up our food, and the hot tub was luke warm. Other that that we had fun and the beds were extreemely comfortable
- 1/5
I am tired of booking a room and not being given a standard room, instead this time i received an ada room, and last time a smaller corner room. next time i will stick with the historic davenport. its always great
- 5/5
Truly had a special say
- 4/5
Staff was very accommodating & kind.
- 4/5
Very clean room comfortable bed.
- 1/5
We stood in line for over 30 minutes to check in. Paid for breakfast, were not given vouchers. Breakfast cost us $60. Got a handicapped room, right off the elevator. We were hoping for a romantic night away, and it was not.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Quick check in- beautiful and clean room. Valet parking was worth every penny.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 3/5
$70 in amenity fees? No mini fridge.
- 5/5
Clean, helpful staff, nice facilities
- 5/5
Clean room friendly staff
- 5/5
Amazing desk staff - every single person there was helpful and went out of their way to be friendly and eager to make our stay great. Most comfortable and quiet room ever!
- 5/5
Stayed here for a few nights for a conference. The room was incredibly spacious and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful—would definitely recommend and stay again!
- 5/5
A good value for the price. My favorite hotel beds are at the Davenport.
- 4/5
Our stay was very goo
- 5/5
Clean room, staff.
- 4/5
Bartender was awesome.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff, and nice room. Worth the money!
- 5/5
Lovely stay. Lots to do within walking distance. Spacious rooms and great amenities.
- 3/5
My room was dirty, I found sometimes contact lens on the floor, dust on the edge of the moulding in the bathroom, and little black things transferred from the floor to the bed from my feet further showing me that housekeeping hadn't vacuumed. The hot tub was bath tub warm which was very disappointing. The first elevator from the lobby kept not wanting to read people's cards so that they could use the elevator. Damage to the desk in my hotel room, faded and very written rugs in the rooms, stained pillow cases. All of this led to a less than ideal start at a very expensive hotel that's supposed to be luxurious. At more than $200 a night booked through Expedia so I got a cheaper price then if I had booked directly through the hotel was far to much for the room I got.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay for the weekend to attend the wedding. Only complaint was when I arrived early and requested an early check-in and the woman at the front desk did not provide a kind customer service. Her tonality at my early arrival was off-putting and didn’t put on her kind customer service face until she realized I had the finances to pay for the early check-in.
- 5/5
We stay here all the time and have never had a negative experience!
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 3/5
Cleaning staff needs help. Hotel itself is beautiful
- 4/5
Clean room with mirrors everywhere! Staff were friendly while heing helpful. Plenty spaces to work or eat in the lobby area. The safari animal theme was a classy touch.
- 3/5
Room was dirty it was a empty box behind the curtains
- 1/5
Gave us a smoke smelling room and our check in was
- 4/5
Great staff food is ok lots of homeless close by and place to take dogs is small and not a very safe feeling had one issue with a person but I’m a big guy and he left.
- 5/5
Close to mall and restaurants in the heart of the city.
- 5/5
The rooms are perfect and the common spaces are beautiful
- 4/5
I also missed that the property had a daily fee which was not included in my reservation. Parking was also needed on top of everythjng. All said, cost-wise, my quoted Travelociy cost was quite below my actual fees paid to the propery. Nice hotel. Clean. Convenient to Riverfront Mall and park
- 5/5
The hotel was wonderful. The hotel employees were very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
One suggestion: buy softer toilet paper
- 3/5
For the room rate, the $10 dining credit seemed insignificant (it wouldn’t even cover a drink at the bar!). If you pay for breakfast ahead of time, you only get 1 option on the menu rather than anything. The service at breakfast was subpar at best. They barely check in on you and are slow! I sat with an empty coffee cup for quite a while. They say they validate parking but all it does is add it to your final bill. For the rate, I would find a different hotel. I was not impressed.
- 5/5
The decor is lovely and dinner was wonderful, especially after a long drive. The shower and bed were amazing and the staff has been lovely. We hope to be back.
- 4/5
It’s OK, but it was very uncomfortable. Wish I was able to stay another night if I could afford it staff was nice. That was unexpected to pay $110. Deposit
- 5/5
Hotel lobby was spacious and the hotel bar was staffed with friendly knowledgeable people. Starbucks in the hotel was also a bonus- good breakfast options. Insofar as lunch or dinner several good places within a block or two. Last night of our stay tried Churchill and it was top notch.
- 5/5
Front desk had only one employee working every tome I passed by. Lines were very long to check in. Its a huge hotel, needs more check in clerks particularly after 4 pm
- 1/5
Overbooked. Sent me and two kids to another property and split us in to two rooms leaving my 13 in a room by herself. No refund
- 4/5
Good location and services and pleasant staff.
- 4/5
All good except don't give me a handicap room when we're not handicapped. All the respect to handicap people but give us a normal room with a bathtub.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel … short staffed though I think .. long waits for checkin and we had prearranged that our room would be cleaned daily but it wasn’t .. everything else was good! Food, drinks, etc..
- 5/5
Avoid walking my dog to far from hotel, close to unsure people asking for handouts.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
The staff was extremely friendly
- 4/5
Not as high quality as previous experiences. I expected more from Davenport.
- 3/5
Loved the pool whole family did. I ordered room service and they made my boys a great Sunday wirh peanut brittle!
- 1/5
Room was small and right off garage area outside window. Hallways were hot, stuffy and never vaccumed during our stay 4 nights. Same dirt and debri was there entire time. We had a drink night we got in, 2 drinks were 42$ pretty expensive. Smell of strong chlorine when you walk in front door but out front of doors on street it smelled like urine. We had stayed 3 years ago here and the property just isnt as nice. Not kept up..we liked the pool and hot tub still but this property just isnt worth the price charged. Lots of barking dogs in rooms too. We wont be back.
- 2/5
Would be extremely hesitant to book this property again. Slow check in and dirty room. When we were switched we were switched to a smaller room and just let down by the property.
- 4/5
Everything was great except our room stayed pretty warm even though we had it set to the lowest temp (65 degrees).
- 5/5
Nice clean and outside area clean
- 5/5
Great place.
- 5/5
Beautiful shower
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Easy , clean, comfortable
- 4/5
The $20.00 daily destination amenity fee is a damn rip off that Marriott doesn't need to stay in business. The room cost and other fees are high enough.
- 5/5
Birthday weekend
- 1/5
The area around the hotel is dirty and the streets are full of homeless druggies that were pooping on the sidewalk.
- 5/5
Checkin was quick and efficient. All the staff were very courteous and professional. Very customer focused!
- 5/5
Friendly and very nice tooms
- 4/5
Safari theme is unique and fun. Location is convenient to shopping and the River. Staff was very friendly at front desk and bar.
- 5/5
I liked that you could use all the amenities between their properties.
- 5/5
Terrific value! Spacious rooms that are well designed with their guests best interests in mind.
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay!
- 5/5
Always a lovely stay
- 3/5
Room was nice. Bed comfortable. Impossible to get ahold of staff for simple requests, like fresh towels or check-out. When I reached the front dest, as there was nobody picking up at housekeeping, the man said it is not his job and hung up. Weird. The Guest Services menu on TV was not even for this hotel which was very odd.
- 5/5
Stays at the Davenport hotels are always great! The environment is classy, and the service is great, no matter who you are interacting with. It also was in walking distance to where i was going the night i stayes at the hotel.
- 5/5
Fancy!
- 5/5
Great location and onsite restaurants and bars
- 5/5
We stayed here for our our wedding night and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We arrived, and the front desk staff warmly congratulated us and surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite. The room was spotless, spacious, and luxurious, with amazing views. It truly made our wedding night extra special. Highly recommend the Davenport Tower!
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Bar and restaurant staff are kind professional and warm. We love the decor. Dinner was amazing!!!
- 5/5
I was a bit bummed to be woken by a large party of seemingly drunk dudes way too early in the a.m., and I know this has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel, but it would have been nice if they somehow could have been stopped at the front door. Again, this isn’t the hotels fault by any means, but it was the only mark on an otherwise great stay.
- 2/5
No continental breakfast, unexpected fees when checking in, no prices told when valet parking, no options given when it comes to parking. Comfy bed
- 4/5
Parking costs
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff! The kids enjoyed the pool, we didn’t get a chance to eat at the hotel but it was gorgeous! I highly recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. All of the amenities were so nice.
- 4/5
Room was very clean. Need more light controls.
- 5/5
Food is very good, bed was comfortably
- 5/5
This property was family friendly and very welcoming.
- 3/5
Really like this hotel, but it needs more thorough cleaning.
- 5/5

- 5/5
It was a quick overnight stay but great as always. Our favorite place to stay when in town
- 2/5
When I returned to my room that afternoon, it hadn’t been cleaned—no fresh towels, and the bed wasn’t made. I called the front desk, and they said they would notify housekeeping. The next day, my bed was made, but by the third day, after another complaint, only the towels were replaced. Overall, not the experience I expected. Cleanliness and comfort were definitely lacking.
- 3/5
For the cleaning people to easily clean the room. However, they forgot to clean the room. Won’t stay here again
- 5/5
Great staff, beautiful hotel in a great location. Food was good and well priced!
- 4/5
The property was great. My sheets and blanket were wet… maybe came out of the dryer too soon. But otherwise, wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Amazing hospitality and the room and bed were so incredible. 10/10
- 4/5
Really neat safari theme but done in great style! Clean and great location. Bed wasn’t very comfortable but was great for jumping lol!
- 5/5
This is a 1st class hotel. We’ve stayed here quite a few times and every trip is the best one. We absolutely feel comfortable and taken care of. Wonderful hotel. Quiet rooms.

- 4/5
We have stayed at the Towers before and love it. This time they did not have my room available and we didnt check in until after 500 pm. Eventually we got into our room and the rest of the stay went well.
- 4/5
Area has lots of homeless but my daughter and I noticed a heavy presence of security so I feel they are trying to make it safe and that did help use feel better walking to local restaurants.
- 5/5
We regularly stay at the Davenport Tower when in Spokane. Easy garage parking, nice, large rooms, well maintained.
- 5/5
wonderful room for the price, we stayed in the suite and it was perfect for a family of 4! We will be back
- 4/5
Clean, quiet, and great location.
- 3/5
The rooms are very nice but no microwave or mini fridge & we travel with a type 1 diabetic that needs a place for his insulin
- 5/5
Its a very gorgeous place! Needs improvement with internet accessibility.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Great amenities and nice room.

When we arrived, we were charged fees on top of fees that were not stated when booking. We got to our room to find an odor, one robe instead of 2, the shower was out of shampoo & conditioner and there was a bug crawling on the sheets. Staff failed to do anything when it was brought to their attention. $250 plus for one night, I expected a lot more than this! Will NOT return to these properties ever again.

Great location in Downtown Spokane.

Visited for a work trip, felt like royalty with our suite and delicious breakfast delivered right to the door. Everything was lovely, and best beds ever!

They wanted to charge 20.00 for a one hour early checkin. 35.00 charge for valet parking. Not enough value for the price.

Whenever I am in Spokane, this is the only place I stay. I have a great experience everytime.

Downtown Spokane is the pits! Felt unsafe walking around at dinner time and parking lot was across the street and scary to go into.

Hotel is upscale with nice room amenities. Top notch shampoo, conditioner etc provided in the bathrooms. A bit too pricey for meals, even with the $20 hotel credit per purchase. The $20 destination fee per day & $28 self-parking fee per day seem excessive. Staff is very friendly & attentive. Some of the elevators do not work to go to the upper floor rooms by scanning the room key card.

Early check in fee of 25.00 at 2:00 pm - was told room charges would credit 20.00 this did not happen, I ate breakfast and charges to my room - no credit. then had an additional 25.00 amenities internet charge. Front desk stated it’s for resort amenities?? This place needs to list all in costs in its price listed on Expedia.

First decent hotel I've stayed in where you have to request a fridge ahead of time. There was a fresh looking blood stain on a new pillowcase which was a little weird to not notice when the room was prepared for a new guest... Otherwise it was great.

Our waitress was extremely nice and gave us fantastic service and was truly lovely. A lovely Greek woman!

This is my new favorite place to stay in Spokane. The staff is top notch and the property is beautiful.

Great staff and great access to downtown.

Several hidden costs not mentioned prior to check in. Also, call me picky but when I pay a premium for the room, they can at least provide better than one ply tp!

We got there about 2 hours early and was told there were rooms available but in order to check in early it would be an additional 25dollars. I thought that was bizarre if they have rooms available and we have stayed there several times in the past.
