Hollander Boutique Hotel

Funky place with a friendly vibe. If you’ve been turned off hotel chains, try this place. Easy 10-15min walk to the Pier, a couple of fun bars in-house, neighborhood is quirky but felt safe. My wife and I (in our 60s) loved our stay. And St Pete is a fun place to be at night too.

I stayed for just one night and found the room to be clean, comfortable, and well maintained. While the room was on the smaller side and might feel a little cramped for a longer stay, it was perfectly adequate for a short visit. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were disappointed to find that the pool and bar areas were extremely busy with non-resident visitors. The atmosphere was very lively, with loud music playing throughout the afternoon. As a result, we were unable to enjoy the pool area as we had hoped. The noise also carried throughout the property, although it was less noticeable in our room thanks to its second-floor location and the windows being kept closed. Guests looking for a quieter and more relaxing environment may wish to bear this in mind, particularly on weekends.

Great location, pool, friendly staff, but food was only okay. That might just be the restaurant scene in the area though! Loved our time here, room was comfortable! The free water at the front was such a nice touch! Not much! The value for food was not amazing though.

The pub had great food and service. I was there on a Sunday so the pool was packed but it wasn't my scene. The price was amazing and the parking easy. The bed was comfortable. The lighting in the room was very dim and the noise from the hallway was a little loud. The bathroom was VERY small.

This is our second time staying at this location and will stay here every time we visit this area. It is such a quaint little place and the bar/restaurant are amazing. The pool is wonderful.

I booked king bedroom with swimming pool view but I think it is either queen or twin. To view pool, one has to turn neck to 180 degree. Bathroom sink is too small and water splash everywhere!

Great downtown location- Close to restaurants, shops and seafront. Free parking. Clean, comfortable room. Very helpful staff. Ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and was very pleased. Would definitely stay there again.

My sister and I stayed here while I was scoping out the area to potentially move down to the area. We LOVED IT. The staff was so friendly and the pool and bar was super fun. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. AC worked well and the bathroom was clean!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool and outdoor bar area are a great place to hang out. They offered a shuttle to the Rays baseball game as well. That was unexpected and appreciated.

Great stay here. We were here for two nights and spent one day round the pool and another at the beach. Great little hotel with a superb pool bar and brilliant Tap Room inside. Great food. Great coffee. Great staff. We watched a bit of the NBA Finals one night and really enjoyed our stay. Thanks very much.

Loved the vibe, the location, the staff were so helpful and friendly. Bed was a bit too hard for our liking. They were able to place an additional layer on the mattress to help make it more comfortable

The Hollander is always a joy to stay at. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is awesome, and is convenient to everything St. Pete has to offer. The food is very good.

The Hotel was wonderful as usual. This place was one of our favorite places to go but now they have an open to the whole neighborhood pool party with extremely loud techno music. So no peaceful, relaxing time by the pool anymore. For the people that pay to stay there it is NOT fun or relaxing. The experience is very loud and EXTREMELY crowded! no room in the pool at all. Loud obnoxious crowd over run that area now. I was told the "Pool Parties only run from March till October... the only months worth getting in the pool, so goodbye to the Hollander forever! Unless they cancel the "Pool Party" we will NOT be going back! Too bad for a place that used to have so much charm, they don't care or respect the actual paying customer anymore.

It is always a great stay at the Hollander Hotel. The rooms are great, the staff are amazing. We love the free shuttle to get us around DTSP. Oh, and the tap room is a top notch restaurant and bar.

We loved our stay and would come again. The location was very convenient to various downtown venues. The free trolley stop is right across the street. We also loved the pool and bar, on site restaurant and lovely decor. Overall a really nice hotel in a nice location!

There was bunch of bugs in our room they didn’t care that much after we told the front desk they tried to refuse the matter and normalize it ! That was the kinda of bugs which bite and made us itchy the whole night when we were there for two nights!

Nice size room with king size bed, microwave and refrigerator. Staff was super friendly. Gave us bottles of water whenever we asked. Free parking. Restaurant had good food and was generally packed for dinner.

The check in process was easy, as was the checkout process. Staff were very kind, helpful, and courteous. The charm of the hotel was adorable. The location to places visited during our stay was perfect. Would certainly stay here again.

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel, the staff was nice and the place was clean and quiet when it needed to be . I will recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

The property is great but can be loud if you have a rm on 2nd floor beside elevator and were staff does laundry etc. Also a private party took up half of pool so no chairs or cabanas for guest at the pool on Memorial Day weekend. Other then that great property

Overall nice place to stay, very friendly staff, good location. The only complaint I had was because it’s open to the public, the pool, restaurant and bars were so packed that I couldn’t get a spot at them.

The Hollander is a great hotel. We stayed there for Reggae Rise Up and the shuttle was an awesome amenity and very convenient. The lobby bar and restaurant offered a nice variety of food including a great coffee bar.

Stay here at least once a year. Hollander never disappoints. Great Old Florida property close to everything in downtown.

Overall, though, the hotel is fun, wildly decorated with hundreds of pictures, and a lot of photos of old St. Pete. The front porch is big and comfortable, the pool is great with lovely cabanas, the coffee shop has great coffee and fantastic muffins, and the bartenders are friendly and take good care of their customers.

This is our third visit to the Hollander. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely with plenty of places to sit and relax. Within walking distance to the Pier or take the nearby free trolley. The food in their restaurant is delicious. There are also nightly special for drinks. We’ll be back

Very friendly staff. Before our arrival, I mentioned that this was our anniversary. To our surprise, The hotel pkace a bittle of had a bittke of champagne in the refrigerator awaiting our arrival. Pretty cool!

First time in St Pete’s and we loved our stay! The rooms were spacious, staff was kind & having the restaurant/bar inside the hotel was super convenient! Coffee shop was great as well. The pool party was fun, not too rowdy & the bartenders did an amazing job of keeping up with how busy it was. We will be staying here again!

I absolutely love this hotel. It’s a historic building. It’s very cute and very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. The AC was brand new. The Plumbing all worked wonderfully. My floor had a nugget icemaker and water fountain in a sitting room. Downstairs had a beautiful front porch a lovely pool, a nice little fireplace and a great bar. I literally will plan trips around this hotel in the future. Not to mention, they have shuttle to and from Tampa Bay rays games. The staff was all excellent. I was even offered a late checkout so I could hang out by the pool a little longer. 10 out of 10 Hotel experience. And the Dining attached is wonderful and a tremendous perk as a bonus.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we absolutely loved this hotel. The entire place was so charming. Established in the 1930’s, it had an old fashioned feel with modernized fixtures, hardwood floors and comfy lounge areas on each floor. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed- enough outlets to charge our devices, small fridge, microwave and a small hairdryer in the bathroom. The pool was very relaxing with nice lounge chairs, cabanas, lots of clean towels, ice water and a poolside bar with great music that any Gen Xer would love. Staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious and offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. I really loved the coffee in the cafe, which also had a large selection of desserts. Highly recommend!

Love the charm and ambience! Great team that goes above and beyond to be helpful. Lots of quaint reading nooks and places to enjoy time outside of a hotel room. The location is waking distance to restaurants and the bay. We loved the pool, coffee shop and more. When I left my iPad and called to ask for support, they I immediately locked it and let me know. Stress was relieved. They are great!

One of my favorite parts was the overall vibe of the property. The pool area and bar are lively and fun, perfect for relaxing or socializing, and the on-site restaurant made it easy to grab great food and drinks without leaving. Guests consistently rave about the atmosphere, cleanliness, and excellent service, which really shows throughout the stay.

The only complaint I had was that the temperature of the water in the shower kept fluctuating and I couldn't find the sweet spot where I was comfortable. It went from wicked hot to cold with a millimeter turn of the dial. Other than that, our stay was perfect!

The minute you walked into the lobby we were hit with this overwhelming smell of mildew, vomit and smoke. The whole first floor smelled this way for the three days we were there. The rooms were average, staff were more concerned about socializing with each other .

The Hollander was conveniently located. It was a short walk to museums, the bay where you can stroll or sit and watch the boats and passerbys, and a bunch of restaurants and shops. We were glad to be off the main drag. Our room was poolside, It tended to be noisy where there was also a bar but was fine with windows closed. The bathroom was very small but useable. The Hollander dining area either inside or on the porch was convenient and reasonably priced.

This is an old hotel so the bathrooms are tiny but adequate. The building though old is charming. The breakfast is substantial and reasonable. Great location to Beach Drive - easy walk. Staff were consistently pleasant.

Nice. Old Florida style but updated

Been staying in Florida last couple weeks for work, easily the best hotel stayed in way above the rest. The atmosphere of this hotel is so relaxing, everyone is so helpful. I had laundry to do, free washer dryers is such a plus for out of towners. Just so comfortable, everything you could need or want right there. I will be back there for sure when I stay in the area.

We have been coming to the Hollander for years and we are never disappointed. Only wonder why we don’t come more often. Everything you want is there a great pool, pool bar, great restaurant with reasonable prices. It is an older boutique hotel, and has loads of charm. And you can walk to the water from there or other areas of downtown.

The staff at the front desk were amazing, very friendly and informative. Room was clean and comfortable. Great restaurant and bar with very efficient servers. The only issue, although minor, was the parking. Unfortunately, there were several weddings in the area, including the one we were attending, which resulted in a full booking for that weekend and very tight parking. Aside from that we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something in that area.

This was our third year in a row at the property. Clean room (the King Suite is well worth the spend!), bottled water for the asking, and relaxing breakfasts on the front porch. The pool bar is well staffed and well-stocked. We will be back next year!

My stay at the Hollander was great! It was super conveniently located as I was attending a game at Tropicana field. 5 minute drive away! The room itself was very clean and I got upgraded to a queen suite for free upon arriving! The desk host who checked me in was very friendly as was the restaurant staff. I felt safe as a solo traveler inside the hotel. Outside the hotel seemed safe as well although I stayed close just for extra precautions as I was traveling alone. I would recommend this hotel to anyone attending a game at Tropicana!

The hotel was very good. We loved the decor. The breakfasts and dinners were great. There is a great pool with tiki bar for everyone's enjoyment. The staff was super friendly, too.

This is a reasonable place to stay for a few days in St Pete. The lobby, outdoor patio and coffee bar are nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms could definitely use some rehab and the wifi is spotty.

This hotel was so unique! Stayed here for my son’s swim meet and it was a perfect location . The staff is top notch and the restaurant was very good too.

Rooms are small but beds are big. :) Nice restaurant some food is cold. Pool and pool bar are swell, and cabanas are nice if you can snag one. Great central location for your St. Pete adventure.

Liked everything except the Sunday parties open to the public with DJ from1-6 at the pool. It was crazy! There was no room for the people actually paying a premium rate to stay at the hotel. Would not return due to that fact. The parties happen every Sunday. Could not spend a relaxing day at the pool on Sunday

Great little hotel in a fantastic location. A super quick walk to plenty of restaurants & museums. Both the restaurant & bakery in the hotel were good-we ate there multiple times because my kids liked it so much. Pool was clean & not super busy. Staff was extremely helpful & pleasant.

I booked this hotel for Reggae Rise Up because it was suggested by a friend. The staff here was so friendly and helpful. The Taproom had delicious food and drinks. My only complaint was the parking situation and the bed. The bed was as hard as a rock.

I love this place, staff is friendly, hotel is beautiful so much character within those walls. My family enjoyed our stay for Reggae Rise Up Music Festival. We will definitely stay here again!

Truly the most wonderful staff I’ve ever seen. The restaurant was very good also. The pool area is also very nice.

The amenities make up for the less than fabulous room decor. The pool area was FANTASTIC. Lots of lounge chairs and tables with extra large umbrellas. Also many cabanas to rent if you want even more shade. There’s an outdoor pool bar with service available to the entire pool area. We happened to stay on a Monday night and enjoyed the Monday Martini specials ($6 for delicious, full-strength martinis all day). This area was perfect for spending an entire afternoon! There’s a full-service restaurant on site that was very popular. We enjoyed breakfast sitting on the outdoor porch. All of the staff were super friendly and parking was free. Really appreciated for a downtown location We didn’t stay long enough to use the spa or fitness room, but this place definitely has a lot to offer and the prices are very reasonable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and pool bar was great! And it was very convenient to have the restaurant and coffee shop within the hotel. The room was comfortable, but the bed was not. The bed was hard and the bedding did not breathe. I did not sleep much for my 5 night stay.

The Hollander is in a great location central to many things in downtown St. Pete. The front desk staff is wonderful! The restaurant and coffee shop was great and is a local favorite. There is also a great veranda for people watching and relaxing. I stayed in the original building on the first floor and found it to be noisy at times. The room was a few doors down from the laundry facility and unfortunately the hum of the machinery does not drown out voices early in the morning. It seemed that it was mostly loud when the Supervisor was giving instructions, as often the orders were given from the hall to the person in with the machines. The property looks to be getting ready for renovations as the lobby was being worked on. The rooms themselves were comfortable, with some vintage like touches in prints and bright yellow headboards that were cool. The tiny bathroom was in desperate need of renovation and updating, with cheap little sink with paint peeling and old tub, etc... It was nice to have a coffee maker and small fridge in room and the ability to control the a/c unit. The property itself is clean, happy and has a great vibe about it. The restaurant offers great themes throughout the week and incentives, and is a great gathering space for guests and locals alike. I would return because the staff is great and I'd book a room in the suites building instead, which I was told was more current.

Quirky/funky/cool historic hotel vibe even before you walk inside. Clean, serviceable rooms (if a bit small). Staff is amazing, restaurant downstairs served delicious menu items and below marker prices (still unsure how they do that!! Will be our go-to for visits to St Pete

Great staff and food. Having a room near the stairs makes it a little loud but otherwise it’s a really cute place with lively evenings at the restaurant.

The Hollander is a really stylish hotel. Not “fancy” but very cosy and eclectic. Our room was stylish, very clean and quiet. Mattress and linens were nice. The poolside bar is great, as is the coffee shop. They have various “specials” that run through the week too which were a fun addition. It’s a 10-15 min walk to pretty much anywhere you want to go, including multiple restaurants, breweries, museums.

Great location for getting around St Pete’s. The happy hour and restaurant were actually really good food and amazing prices on drinks. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

This was a wonderfully unique hotel! The staff were so friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The only critique is it took forever for the water to get warm in the shower. The onsite restaurant is delicious and the coffee shop/bakery is to die for. I will definitely stay here again next year!

The room was spotless, staff very friendly and the pool was great. The bathroom was a little small and grab bars would have been helpful. A bar of soap is preferred to the bottles in the shower.

This was my second stay at the Hollander, and this time I ended up with a room in the older section of the hotel. The rooms there are smaller and face the Courtyard area, so it was much louder then the last visit. Paint on the bath tub was pealling, and the room itself was otherwise ok. Not bad, just not great, and past it's prime. If you can, try to get one of the newer, updated rooms with carpet that face on to Forth.

I took my partner for his Special Birthday celebration. When we checked in we were told that we were being upgraded to a suite. A bottle of Champagne was in the fridge. All the staff was super friendly. I definitely would stay there again !!!

Only stayed a night, but everything was great. Arrived early, and our king room on 2nd fl was ready. We enjoyed a late lunch poolside which was very good. It has that small boutique-hotel feel which I really enjoy. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Location was great also. The only downside was that there were people talking below our room at pool until 2am. If in area, would definitely stay again.

The hotel is so cool. The vibe is laid back, and the interior and grounds are a destination in itself. The front porch, cozy lobby and lobby bar make a great meet up spot to plan your day of adventure. The pool deck also has a cool bar and plenty of space to layout and just chill. Both property bars offer excellent beverage choices, and the bartenders definitely know how to make a drink. The restaurant and small cafe offer excellent food choices and the food tasted great. I highly recommend you have at least one meal at the hotel's restaurant. Coffee and desert are also a must in the small cafe. Truly the best coffee on our entire trip. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The room had fridge and microwave concealed into the furniture. The bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling to St Petersburg and looking for a hotel that puts you within walking distance of the waterfront and Central Ave that delivers that boutique look and vibes but the cleanliness and professional staff of a resort. The Hollander Botique Hotel is the destination!!!

Everything was ok, but the one thing I didnt like was the lack of sound insulation to the hallway and the loud noises that would wake me up every time someone slammed the door or just walk past my door. It was very loud. Otherwise, it was a very small room but it was ok.

Perfect location within blocks of all of the action on both Beach Drive and the Central Arts District with the absolute nicest, happiest staff! The hotel restaurant and the pool bar are fabulous! Such a local's hangout too with trivia nights and all kinds of fun activities.

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfortable, lots of pillows, great front porch, fun pool/party area, and the BEST amenity, is the restaurant. It is open for every meal every day and the food is delicious. The lobby is alive and a great vibe.

You’d have to try really hard to find something bad to say about this place. I’m happy to have stumbled upon it and it was a treat spending my two quick nights in st Petersburg here. I would recommend it for any type of traveller

Very cute and eclectic hotel, the staff was very nice. The restaurant downstairs is very convenient. They have just about everything. The bartender made me a fantastic martini. The food was delicious. The only issue I had at one point. I wanted to work downstairs and couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi, not sure why, but overall fantastic location, close to everything, self-parking available, although a little bit limited, but will definitely recommend it and come back.

The staff was super welcoming and helpful! The lobby of the hotel looked quite nice and the food and drinks at the pool bar were good. The complimentary hotel shuttle was a great, thoughtful touch. However, the actual hotel room was dim, old, and really showing its age. The bathroom, especially, could really use a refresh and was also tiny. The fixtures were old and there was poor ventilation that made the entire hotel room seem a bit mildewy.

I held my 55th birthday party at the taproom outside by the pool. They pre-set a table for 20 people and our waitress Kailyn was absolutely amazing. I was surprised by a bottle of champagne that was in my refrigerator and a welcoming note because they knew it was my birthday. My room was amazing. I could’ve lived there and had a kitchenette a living room of course a king bed and large bathroom all of it was immaculate and very contemporary and stylish. It was an ADA room which I opted for only because it was larger than the regular suites (no tub, only shower). They offer you bottled water when you check in and I was able to get a late check out at 12:30 PM. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and found my glasses after I had left my room, returning them to me immediately. All of my guests at the party just loved The Hollander Hotel; the Vibe, the decor, the food was great and the service was amazing. This is my favorite boutique hotel in St. Petersburg. I highly recommend it.

The attached restaurant TheTapRoom is excellent and the food and drinks are great. The Coffee Shop and Bakery are also excellent! Really good coffees and baked goods. The location of the hotel is super! This is a walkable town or use the Looper trolley for free! But don’t forget to tip the driver! I hope you enjoy this establishment as much as I did.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to downtown. Very safe place to walk at all times of day and night! One of our best destinations!

Polite staff, beautiful decor and a good bar with a wide selection of beers and chatty locals. The bathroom was adequate but cheaply renovated. A nicer carpet runner in the hallway would have upped the ambience.

Clean room (shower head could get an upgrade), staff was very professional and efficient (I had booked 2 standard rooms which were upgraded upon arrival at no cost without my request🙂) Center location, walking distance to all main activities, museums and attractions. Free looper a few steps from the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice place but parking was difficult in the evenings, pool side rooms were loud from the outside bar crowd till shutdown. Stay on the third floor because the ceiling above our room was loud from above from guest who was highly active at two in the morning two out of the three nights of our stay. Bar, restaurant and coffee shop were great. There were many areas on the grounds to relax and carry on conversations. Location is great, you could pretty much walk to any thing in downtown ST. Pete within a mile.

Super cute, welcoming and convenient location. Only thing I would complain about, is the temperamental water while taking a shower. It didn’t know whether it wanted to be hot, cold, lukewarm or burn your skin off hot. 😂

The room had no chair but a cheap desk chair. The bed was comfortable and well made. The bathroom was very small with a granite like shelf protruding from the bottom of the mirror that was impossible to avoid hitting your head on when brushing teeth or washing your face. The bathroom light/exhaust fan was so loud it was akin to being at an airport as prop driven planes take off. The bath tub shower was excellent but had no hand holds for stepping into or out of the tub. Staff was friendly but upon our late evening arrival there was absolutely no available parking and we had to park on a side street curb and were advised "Good luck".

I stayed here about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. It has only gotten better. Well located, excellent service, well maintained and clean, and tons of character. A great break from corporate chain hotels!

The staff was very accommodating and they give guests bottles of water each day. The room and the hotel was clean. I did not visit their restaurant because the menu did not have any vegan offerings. They have a large covered porch out front to enjoy. I did not have to pay to park.

This is hands down one of the best little boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. EVERYTHING and everyone was beyond perfect. We will most definately come back to St. Pete if anything just to come here. They make you feel like family. Food, Drinks, Staff, Hotel, Everything phenomenal. We walked downtown to a restaurant and it was terrible so we came back and enjoyed the tap room and their food is amazing and so fairly priced. Huge kudos to everyone at this hotel. This is a boutique hotel, and it is beautiful! The Hotel Staff was great, during check in and at the pool bar! Everyone friendly, attentive and informative. The bedroom was clean, small comparing to other hotels, but perfect for me and my husband.

Had a very quiet suite in the Avalon annex. Staff is uniformly pleasant and helpful. Prices at bar/restaurant are very reasonable. The location is perfect. I walked most placed downtown.

We came to stay initially for one night for my husband’s birthday. One night turned into two because of this amazing hotel. We stay in St Petersburg often but it was the best hotel experience yet. We will be back. Probably very soon!

The hot water was not forthcoming. Several stories as to why not, the it was told it was a breaker. That seemed to work and our light meal was compensated which was nice and not expected. The next night, no hot water again. The manager said we just had to let the water run for awhile in the bathtub. The water did get warmer but not very hot. I did not want to start showering and have the water turn cold. It seems to me there were two different stories as to why the water was not hot and suggested that the customer was either knowing or should know how to make it so.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed for two nights in July. The food drinks and cute little coffee shop really made everything so accessible. We spent an evening a day at the pool party such fun if you’re there on a Sunday.

The Hollander is a boutique hotel build in the 30's. The have a dessert café, dining room, pool and the food, service and people are wonderful. Breakfast isn't free. But the eggs benedict is to die for. Each clean roon is loaded with memorabilia from guests long ago! You have to experience it. I will stay nowhere else in St. Pete!

This hotel is super cute, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again the next time I’m in town. The poolside rooms have balconies, which were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breeze and the sound of the palms.

Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and kind. The shared parking lot was smaller in size, so it could be hard to find a spot at times. The area around the hotel had plenty of shopping, food selections, and tourist attractions.

Everything was great EXEPT the water pressure from the shower head was horrible. There was more water pressure coming out of the tub spout. I felt like I wasn't getting all the shampoo out of my hair.

I love Hollander so much, every time I come to Saint Pete I try to stay here. There’s not much water pressure in the shower, but everything else is absolutely wonderful and I’ll continue to come back whenever possible.

This was such a cool hotel. We had a local weekend vacation and chose this hotel. All of the staff was incredibly friendly! The food was amazing and the bar drinks and bartenders were incredible. This is our new staycation location! While the rooms are small, they are cozy and unique!

This is a nice cosy hotel located in the downtown of St. Pete and close (less than 1 mile) to everything - attractions, restraints, peer and ext. Room was clean. Just a couple of concerns: Musty smell and very! crowded parking.

This is the perfect place for a stay in St. Pete. Our room was large, clean and comfy, with a fridge and microwave for drinks and leftovers. We especially appreciated the free shuttle van, because it was too hot and rainy to walk downtown.

Happy with how clean the hotel and room was, however, the cleaning smell was overpowering and not good for migraine sufferers like myself. It can be clean and not have a strong smell. PLEASE use different cleaning detergent or tone that smell WAY down. The location is very walkable to many places but we also took advantage of the shuttle bus available on Fridays and Saturdays. It's free, just bring cash for a tip as these drivers are volunteers. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Top notch service! We loved the pool but am a little disappointed that you cannot bring your own food and drinks. They literally check your bag when you walk in. You cannot even bring in a bag of chips or an apple. They do freely give out their own water bottles, which was appreciated. There is free parking, which is a huge plus for the area. It is very limited though and often you are driving around looking for people to leave for a spot. Overall, I give 4 stars and will improve it if they take away that god-awful smell that is throughout the hotel. I tried to open up our room window to air it out, but the windows are locked.

I have been staying at the Hollander Hotel for years, it is the only hotel I stay at when I go to St Pete’s. I am never disappointed. The hotel is gorgeous and extremely clean and the staff is superb!!!

Always a perfect stay

The property has a nice pool and several charming little restaurants, including one on the large porch for outdoor seating, plus a lobby bar that always seemed to have a cheerful group of guests enjoying themselves. On Sundays, they host a lively pool party with music. It’s definitely more of a fun, party vibe, which isn’t really my style, but it was nice to see everyone having a good time. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel isn’t brand new, but it has a quaint, moody style with beautiful furniture. One huge perk is the on-site parking included in the room rate—it’s off-street and very convenient.

What a wonderfully vibrant boutique hotel. Great location. And so affordable!!! The hotel is lovely. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The staff is phenomenal. They responded to every request quickly and with a smile. The hotel has a lively restaurant and two bars (indoor and outdoor), which adds to the overall experience. This is absolutely "THE" place to stay in St. Petersburg.

Great service

I travel a lot and this hotel meets a need for the road warrior. I had a medical procedure early and I live in Fort Myers (2 hours away). Due to a late flight back home to Fort Myers, I was not able to get to the hotel until 1:30am. Some hotels close up shop around midnight. They were cleaning and ready for my check in. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were soft and not lumpy. Oh, parking was plentiful and free. A nice perk when most downtown hotels charge $25-$50/night for parking. Looks like a lot of history was made here. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice atmosphere

This hotel is a total vibe! The DJ pool party on Sunday afternoon is bumping with a really diverse crowd. The hotel and rooms are updated in a creative and stylish way. The rooms and bathrooms are smaller, but the bed and bedding are high quality and very comfortable. Very quiet at night even though a lively hotel in the evening. I will return!

The Hollander is a Boutique Hotel steeped in history. Built in 1933, the Hollander maintained its originality and has been well kept over the decades. Unique memorabilia surrounds you everywhere you turn, like the full-sized telephone booth in the Lobby. They have an outstanding menu in their Tap Room and if you like deserts, you'll be amazed at their selection of artistically crafted and delicious delights in their Coffee Café! The pool area is another must-see relaxation and fun experience! Every single person who worked there takes hospitality to the top. I travelled alone but was greeted by a staff that made me so comfortable and safe! I didn’t need nor want to leave the hotel for anything. This is the place to stay while enjoying St. Petersburg. Thank you to everyone at the Hollander! Special shout out to Jeff! Jeff was the first person who greeted me and began my wonderful stay.

Service was phenomenal!! Everyone on staff was friendly and went above and beyond. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Beds are comfortable and room has a lot of personality- not a boring hotel room. Pool was nice and even had a DJ. Restaurant inside is very good and even visited by a lot of locals. Great location to downtown.

we enjoyed our stay last minute booking the hotel surprised us on multiple levels. Staff was great friendly. The place was clean and had a great atmosphere particularly at the pool.

My stay was ok. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Only problems were the water pressure and the shower temp. constantly going from scorching hot to freezing cold. Also, I left two shirts and a pair of pants in room 328 and the staff refused to acknowledge it when I contacted them the next day. I’m sure the cleaning lady enjoyed finding some nice Rick Owen’s clothes left behind. Oh well.

Our stay was wonderful - terrific restoration of a hotel with history. Easy parking, great restaurant and bar, really nice pool and outdoor bar. Staff was very welcoming. Rooms are smaller, but nice.

What a nice clean hotel! I really enjoyed my time at the hotel -especially at the Tap Room. Great place to eat. Rooms were very clean which i appreciated. It was on par to a Ritz or 4 Seasons on terms of cleanliness. I would definitely stay there again!

Check-in was quick / easy and room was available before actual check-in time. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful while sharing information regarding amenities and events going on. Highly recommend hotel.

Wonderful good and people

The price was very reasonable. The staff checking in was very nice and helpful.

They allow smoking on the patio at the main entrance to the lobby. Passing through a cloud of smoke every time I came or went was a huge turnoff. The lobby also has a very musty smell. Finally the industrial carpet runners and fluorescent lights in the hall way were extremely unappealing. Service was good and the room was very clean and cozy.

Loved the ambiance. Beautiful unique interior lobby and art. Staff friendly and accommodating- left a bottle of champagne in our room, because it was my husband's birthday.Great bar, coffee shop, and large front porch sitting area on premises. Beautiful pool and outdoor hangout, which we did not take advantage of but looked fun. Enjoyed our little balcony - where we shared a dessert that we got from the coffee shop. Walkable to many points of interest, including several good breweries. Very reasonable price. It will be our 'go-to' hotel when we are in st pete.

We stayed and the Hollander last year and absolutely loved this hotel. Although only a brief stay this year we shall definitely return

We were assigned a room and after several minutes realized the air conditioning was not functioning properly. We went downstairs and reported it to the desk clerk who referred it to the manager on duty (a precious person!) and without hesitation we were given a room on the same floor that was amazing!! We cannot give enough stars to the bar, pool and restaurant staff. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.

Really great experience! Smaller rooms but feels more personal. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable and clean. The lobby and connected restaurant were an awesome covenience with great service! Food and drinks were excellent and the desserts were unreal. Would definitely love to return for leisure

It was fabulous! Jeff at the desk was terrific, our suite was wonderful and it all made for an amazing weekend getaway! We have always loved the Hollander, but they even went a step above this time. We have told our friends and our planning to do a group getaway up here soon.!
