The first room I checked into had a horrendous smell so I requested another room. The second also had a bad smell of mildew but I stayed anyway.

There were other residences who stayed next door to me and they were constantly loud, they would slam the door, rude. I did notify the staff, but it continued

Located close to downtown St. Petersburg. Staff was friendly and it smelled nice when walking in. Rooms were clean. Breakfast ending before 10am (at least the one day we tried to eat at the hotel). The pillows were too soft.

I wasn't expecting much here other than a clean room and milk comfort. Unfortunately, the room was filthy, and the bed and sheets were awful. We really didn't have any other options so I bought Clorox wipes to clean the room myself along with a new sheet of sheets from target I put over the ones the provided. Just don't bother. Almost anywhere would have been better than here.
- 4/5
Ok to stay
- 1/5
The customer service at this hotel by the young lady that checked us in was awful! She was rude and curt the whole time!! The rooms smelled so heavily of mold you could barely sleep. The handicapped bar in the bathroom fell off the wall when my friend tried to use it for assistance to get out of the shower. Cleanliness of the room was terrible mold on the shower caulk and repaired holes in the ceiling. This hotel is not a good representation of Wyndham or Expedia!! For $190 a night we expected more
- 2/5
The only positive with my stay was the staff. The hotel was not clean, it's rundown, and it has not been remolded. The area is not great.
- 3/5
Breakfast was terrible.
- 5/5
I enjoyed myself being there
- 1/5
We had to leave there were bugs on our beds.
- 4/5
Good for the price point.
- 5/5
Location is perfect. Staff accommodating. Enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Very friendly people and accommodating with extra towels when we asked for them. Overall good hotel an a fast working elevator is a big deal. One downside was one of the ice machines was malfunctioning but it was in our floor so we had to go downstairs to get ice. That’s not a big deal.

The room was dirty, 2 large holes in the walls, all lights did not work.

I booked 2 nights to get rest while while my daugher had a big sleep over. The first night starting at 3am there was banging on the walls nearby that lasted untip 6am despite me calling the front desk to complain. To her defense, she was the only one working and hard spot to put a woman in the calm roudy guests. I ate the cost of the 2nd night due to expedia no refund policy and slept at home with a house full of girls. Waste of 300.00 to be honest but sleeping at home gave me mose rest.

- 4/5
The staff was nice and the breakfast was better
- 5/5
Hotel staff was friendly and very clean. Comfy bed
- 2/5
No drinking water available outside of breakfast hours, charge $7 for a bottle of water. The rooms don’t have recycling. We were running late in our travels and the hotel said that if we didn’t arrive by a certain time that our booking would be cancelled with no refund given. We will never be staying at a Wyndam property again.
- 2/5
I only stayed 2 nights for business. I can overlook some things, but the basics (hot water and a clean room) are non-negotiable for me. The carpet was gross. The sink faucet valve was installed backwards. So if you want hot water, put the handle towards the blue dot. Speaking of hot water, only the sink had hot water. The shower was slightly warmer than room temperature. I had the valve pushed all the way to hot and it never got hot. I called the front desk and the clerk told me it takes a while to warm up. When I told her I had it running already she said let it run because it takes awhile. Well it never got any hotter after letting it run a full 20 minutes. I called the front desk again and nobody answered. So, now there's no hot shower and no further response from the front desk. A lukewarm shower is the worst thing after working a 15hr day outside around dirt and sand. Simply put, it sucked.
- 4/5
Amazing staff!

- 5/5
The hotel staff was friendly and was also very accommodating to me with an early check-in, as I was travelling that morning from West Palm Beach to St Pete for a funeral. Also, the breakfast was very nice, especially the automatic pancake making machine was a "go to" treat.
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located, but on avery busy road so noise all day and night. The water in the shower never got warm and i saw a live roach onthe bathroom.
- 3/5
Room was clean but dingy. Carpet was stained and threadbare. Bathroom lighting was poor.
- 5/5
Looks like it was recently renovated, nice comfortable room. Only thing I would suggest is better water pressure. Other than that no issues and would stay again if needed.
- 5/5
My room was exceptionally clean

- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
The only thing negative was the strange “musty” odor as you open The door and walk into room 209. Once in the room it isn’t too noticeable, until you leave and walk back into the room, there it is again??? Also there was no tub mat to prevent slips, and no hand rails to prevent falling. In spite of the above I would recommend and return to this facility.
- 3/5
The Staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
Check in was not the best. We rented 5 rooms for my staff for a corporate meeting. I was unable be present to check them in, but gave one of my team members my credit card so she could check everyone in. This has never been an issue at other hotels. Cutting to the chase, the front desk clerk basically said we were scamming them. He was able to resolve the situation after speaking with his manager and me sending my VP of Ops down to the hotel with my license. The hotel was ok. One person’s room didn’t lock so she had to change rooms. All but one person had no hot water either day. The “resort” fee is a scam. This is not Las Vegas and there is no justification for charging the fee. Overall, there are better hotels in the area and I will be booking my team members a different location for our next meeting.
- 3/5
Old furniture. One of the cabinet drawers had a hinge that was hanging there and the two screws just sitting in the cabinet. No idea how or why There was a kitchen area with zero utensils, plates and other general dining necessities. Comfort: The bed was clean and ok. The shower pressure wasn’t good nor was the Luke warm water. Staff: Nice. I can’t blame them for any of the above things.
- 4/5
Smoking area outside does not have ashtray & cigarettes are scattered. I do not smoke. Unpleasant site to look at. Good parking.

Location. Size of the room.

My apartment complex put us here when our building got infested with roaches. The hotel placed us in a room on the bottom floor. The moment you walk in you get hit in the face with the strong stench of mold. You can see it, too. Black mold in many surfaces. They wouldn’t let us switch the first night and we all got mold exposure and wound up sick. My guess is they flooded during the hurricanes last year and didn’t remediate properly. Found live and dead roaches, alike. Might as well be home at this point. Dirty. Soooo dirty. They did move us to a new room one floor up, which was less moldy, but we continued to feel sick any time we were in the building. Broken desk chair, wobbly everything. Pool has plastic lawn chairs surrounding a tiny pool. That place is a mess. My kids were excited to stay in a hotel and now found themselves to be a bougie bunch. I’d say only good thing about this place was the location being central to a lot of things. But there are other places. From a local.
- 5/5
Nice and Clean
- 4/5
The property had been recently updated, and the outside and interior spaces were attractive, bright, and clean. The particular guest room I was in had a few maintenance issues. The toilet seat was extremely loose. The AC apparently had a slow leak since the floor around the AC was very damp when walking in the area with socks on. As a result of the dampness, there was a slightly off-putting odor in the room.
- 4/5
location, and convenient
- 4/5
We only had one issue and that was the water temperature wasn't reliable.
- 5/5
good pace to stay
- 3/5
Better than average breakfast. Need fruit though. Highly disappointed in pool hours! This is FLORIDA. Do not close the pool at 6 p.m.!!!! We are just getting back to the room around 7 and would like to swim!. 10 p.m. like many of the other hotels, it should be closed.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. I love free breakfast to start my day.
- 2/5
Generally old and dirty
- 1/5
Room 207 was Terrible. Smelly, scratched door, walls, dirty carpet. Dusty chair & table. Shower drain had nasty corrosion. Left & booked at fairfiled inn & suites @Wesley Chspel.👌
- 4/5
The water pressure was low in shower and shower curtain would not stay closed. Everything else was good to go.
- 5/5
10/10
- 3/5
It wasn't the best but we got what we paid for I guess because it was a very good rate. Would I stay there again? Probably not. It was within walking distance to my daughter's home, so I guess we will have to find somewhere else when we visit. Was not impressed, they could do better.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 2/5
I booked a reservation for 4 days to be in the area of the hospital where my nephew was having open heart surgery. The hotel staff was not helpful at all attitude problems. The only person who helped out was the lady who works overnight I forgot her name. But the rooms were not clean the couch in the room was so dirty stains all on it. The room smelled all the time like wet carpet and mold the only thing they gave us was spray we couldn’t keep. We had to buy our own I wanted to book another hotel but i couldn’t because I had no more funds my stay was not good at all I left all day just so I wouldn’t have to be in there only went to sleep.
- 2/5
Biggest Negatives: unit AC’s blowing out moldy smell, took 3 tries before we were put in a room that smelled “normal”. People in room next door blared stereo/TV ALL night. Contacted front desk at 1am asking for assistance, nothing done. We don’t recommend
- 3/5
Debe renovar el piso la tina estaba tapada el olor a humedad es terrible
- 2/5
Make renovations and repairs
- 2/5
I the bathroom needs upgrade and repairs. The AC units were noisy. Disrupts your sleep . had to pay extra for the supposed complementary breakfast and parking.
- 3/5
The staff was super nice, and the hotel was clean. What we didn't like was the mildew smell in our room, as husband noted smell likely due to no exhaust fan in the bathroom. We ran into several people in the elevator who noted change of rooms due to AC leaking.
- 5/5
Rooms are plenty big, comfy and affordable. All the staff were pleasant to work with.
- 5/5
quite excellent service
- 5/5
Was central for our needs in St. Pete everything was great from checking in to checking out. My wife left her sunglasses in the room when we checked out and the girl who cleaned the room turned it into the front desk they called, and we came back to get them. Very happy with he staff there.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
Loved it in the breakfast was amazing
- 3/5
Nice staff. The room was very outdated
- 2/5
There was a horrible smell inside the room that we stay in, I complained and they told me to try a different room, I did and it was the same horrible smell, I couldn’t sleep and the bad part of that was that we paid for 2 nights. The breakfast it was poor and they they run out breakfast before the time was over for breakfast . “I DON’T RECOMMEND THAT HOTEL”.
- 4/5
Hotel is good, needs to be updated though. Our door only locked when we used the inside latch. Breakfast was good and free, that's a plus. Loved the King size bed, we slept well. Temperature of room was great.
- 4/5
Had to stay in St. Pete for surgery
- 1/5
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE stay. This was the most disgusting place and staff was horrible. They said they imputed my refund but did now because I left almost immediately after I got there. Everything was nasty and disgusting. Room smelled like strong mildew had to leave couldn't even stay,
- 5/5
smelled really nice and clean there! really close to the airport
- 4/5
Another great stay at the same hotel. Met the same friendly staff. This time a different room. I'm just a bit picky with cleanliness. Probably would give it 4.5 stars due to some small pieces of trash/candy wrapper in a corner and a pice of a toitsie roll. Other times I gave it a 5 on a different room
- 5/5
The room was clean and the property was immaculate. Breakfast was ready at 6 as indicated
- 1/5
Not clean and smelled gross
- 5/5
Enjoyable stay
- 5/5
My 2nd time staying here. It was a pleasant experience. Friendly staff
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Wanted a hotel near my sister’s condo.
- 5/5
Good place
- 5/5
The staff and housekeeping were extremely helpful and friendly. The walls are a bit thin, on one night we could hear very loud voices after midnight. Other than that, very clean and quiet. We will stay again.
- 5/5
Good to stay
- 5/5
Great service and location
- 1/5
The rooms stunk like an old cabin and you could hear everything going on in the rooms next to you
- 4/5
We stayed overnight. Had spent the day in Clearwater Beach at the Sugar Sand Festival. Chose the LaQuinta in Petersburg so that we could stop at the famous Mazzaro Market only 11 minutes from LaQuinta. We also considered the cost at the LaQuinta. Rooms in Clearwater Beach were 4-5 times higher than LaQuinta.
- 4/5
Comfortable
- 5/5
Good service
- 4/5
I didnt like that the lobby noise was a day room until 12:30 am . My room was close by and between the noise from the people, public restroom doors and elevator noise , rest became a challenge.
- 5/5
It was very pleasant.
- 3/5
Sheets has yellow stains
- 1/5
Roach on the table as soon as we walked in.
- 5/5
What’s great hotel! Updated, clean, great staff.
- 4/5
I ask for kitchen online and when i got there, there wasn't a kitchen i got a regular room. Overall it was clean, quite, and staff was nice.
- 3/5
The staff was very nice and the beds were fairly comfortable. Unfortunately the carpet wasn't vacuumed well. The bathroom was the worst. The tissue dispenser had a coating of dirt and dust that when I wiped it off with tissue it was black. The toilet paper roll holder was very loose on the wall making it difficult to use and the shower had black and pink mold on the caulk. We returned after the first day and the beds weren't made, still had the same debris, but the towels had been replaced.
- 1/5
Terrible staff & service … stay away
- 3/5
First room we were given was dirty. Second room was better. Bathroom had mold. Only bathrooms were cleaned daily and that was not told to us. Rooms have thin walls could hear EVERYTHING
- 5/5
The location was very convenient for me. I work at the St Pete Grand Prix. Breakfast wasn't that good. Had issues with the shower. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Nice and clean, comfy
- 1/5
Extremely poor lighting in the bathroom. Bedroom light between the beds extremely bright on your eyes. Hallways and our bedroom smelled like chlorine. No fan ventilation in the bathroom to the extent that the steam filled our bedroom area and steamed the window in the room! Breakfast buffet was terrible. We did not stay our second night. Hotel was courteous and let us check out early.
- 4/5
Our soccer family enjoyed hanging out together outside and cooking on our grill. Having a nice space for kids to run around safely was a plus! Hotel staff was super nice and the hotel itself was great.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and the hotel was quiet
- 5/5
Place was very clean, staff was nice and attentive. Only complain I have is that the shower curtain wouldnt stay closed, and kept slipping when getting a shower due to how the rod was installed.
- 5/5
Excellent staff!!
- 3/5
Needs a good cleaning and bathroom needs a lot of attention.
- 4/5
It was clean & comfortable. The staff was excellent!
- 4/5
My son and I went to St Petersburg, FL for the Indy race. Hotel was about a 15 minute drive to the downtown area, which made it close enough and affordable enough, since all prices go up during the race weekend. Staff was very friendly, especially the morning group who managed the front desk and breakfast area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay again for next years race.
- 1/5
My husband reserved 1 night stay while visiting our son for his bday, we arrived late at our room and did not notice much about the room till morning besides the stain on one of the pillow cases, the next morning as I opened the curtains there were huge cracks in the glass window, as I went to take a shower there was mold around the built in soap holder which explained why I was having a allergic reaction that morning and had to use my inhaler several times throughout that day, by the way I have asthma and am allergic to mold, just walk in rm 308 and you will see what I’m talking about, it was disgusting and it wasn’t cheap, for $250 a night one would expect a much cleaner room oh and there was some kind of drink spill under the tv stand, I have many pictures if there was a way I could put them on here, it was a disgusting room
- 5/5
The only thing we would like better is more lighting. The room was very dark which is ok at night but would have liked the option to turn on more lights in the morning.
- 3/5
Blankets are too thin. I inquired about a late checkout and was told that wasn’t available because the housekeeping staff didn’t have much to do so they were leaving at 12:30pm. I would have understood if the room was booked after our checkout.
- 4/5
It was great
- 4/5
Meager breakfast. Bathroom lighting was very poor, bathroom electrical outlet loose, shower plumbing loose and moved in and out a few inches!
- 2/5
no choice on room 1st floor requested or near elevator on 2nd floor in middle of hallway my location requests are due to safety concerns elevator broke during stay i vacated the room at 630am when my husband had to leave for a meeting as i wasnt comfirtable using stairs alone no apology no compensation $ or points
- 2/5
Bathrooms had mold in them.
- 4/5
Staff was very kind and helpful as well as respectful
- 1/5
I wanted to check out using a separate credit card then I booked the room with, ran the credit card prior to checking out. Shower was almost coming out of wall. Toilet paper holder fell off. Not the best experience
- 5/5
The hotel was in a good, central location. No frills but sufficient for our needs.
- 4/5
Everything was great except for the breakfast could be a little better
- 3/5
Not good for children. No pool and on busy road.
- 4/5
Overall good experience. Soundproofing isn't the best, so the rooms are a bit noisy (from exterior and interior sounds). Breakfast is also below what you would expect from similar hotels at this price point.
- 3/5
We couldn’t sleep because of noisy guests in contiguous room
- 5/5
Parking was tight but manageable
- 1/5
There were no air purifiers in the room, which might have helped with the unpleasant odor. On the positive side, the front desk employee was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight of the stay. This hotel has potential, but it desperately needs significant improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. I would not recommend it in its current condition.
- 5/5
This hotel is conveniently located near most stores and restaurants you need when traveling. A short distance from downtown but far enough away from the congestion. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breaks average. Price was good.
- 2/5
The breakfasts were subpar. Sausage and hard boiled eggs for hot food, pastries and NO FRESH FRUIT! Very limited items and they were frequently having to bring more things out they were out of. Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald’s….. at least you get more choices.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
I'm a housekeeper at a hotel in Zephyrhills and the rooms are very clean. Good job housekeeping
- 4/5
I can stay in the future again
- 2/5
Cockroaches in the room, clogged pipes, hair coming out of the sink, and although it is not their fault, there is a lot of noise in the early morning 3:30 am from other rooms.
- 5/5
Great location. Bus stop near front to downtown St. Pete. Walking distance to LA fitness, Target, CVS. A pretty good seafood restaurant across the street and a German bakery, diner and Thai restaurant close by.
- 4/5
Overall it wasnt bad for a night's stay! Would stay again. But the breakfast could be better!
- 4/5
The stay was fine, breakfast was better than most, like to have apples juice but orange juice was fine. The staff was very friendly. Wish there was a fan vent in the bathroom
- 4/5
The room smell musty and wet
- 4/5
Very clean hotel. Incredibly nice and helpful staff. Free breakfast not the greatest, but it was free so no real complaint.
- 1/5
They cleaned out room when we told them not to go in and left the door wide open for anyone to go in and steal our stuff
- 1/5
I realize it was only one month since the hurricanes but they should do basic cleaning. My bathroom was filthy. I had to get cleaning supplies from the front desk and clean it myself. And there was a roach under my suitcase the next morning. I checked out after one night.
- 1/5
the room was not clean and smelled musty. the driveway out was scrapping my car every time I drove off to work. the breakfast only consisted of cereal, yogurt, and pancakes and dried sausage and boiled eggs. not truly a breakfast option...
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
All the places I had to visit were close to the hotel , making it easy and convenient to get to. It was nice and quiet making it easy to relax.
- 2/5
The rooms smelled like mold.
- 5/5
Absolutely liked everything about Super 8 by Wyndham (16805 Blake Rd). I have traveled a lot and can say this is one of the cleanest places I have stayed. Very well organized and it has security cameras everywhere. Towels and bedding are always fresh and clean. Included breakfast with fresh coffee, a nice option. They do not rent to locals but highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hagerstown. From Mrs. Julie Hines the amazing manager, reception, to cleaning services were fantastic. They went over and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Great attitude, helpful, and always available. We can truly vouch that the service rendered was on par if not better than those rendered by 5-star hotels that we have experienced. Coming back to this place just for the service.
- 5/5
Excellent
