Nicely renovated, spacious loft in great location; reasonably priced; short walking distance to restaurants; on street parking worked out well;

Fantastic downtown hotel within steps of good coffee, food, and shopping. Hotel was clean, spacious and very well appointed. Staff was extremely communicative and we had an awesome experience. I highly recommend this place.

Large room with full kitchen and sitting area. Room was very clean with very comfortable bed. Check-in was very easy with door codes sent prior to our arrival. Surrounding area was very walkable to local restaurants and cafés. We will definitely stay there again.

Five stars all the way. One note: The top door hinge is pulling away from the door in #4. Very minor, but I thought you'd like to know.

The most amazing place we have ever stayed. Clean, roomy and very quiet. The bed sleeps amazing!! I would 110% recommend you to stay there! Lots of little shops to see within walking distance.

Wonderful location!

Great location in downtown. Walking distance to all of downtown shopping. Right across the street from the Frenchman Restaurant and the Depot Grill. Both restaurants are very good. Check in/out is simple. We were in room 4, our favorite yet.

Space, convenience, location. Noisy upstairs folk - moving furniture or Aikido training until late at night (they settled down around 10:30-11)

The property was so unique. It was well stocked and very comfortable. It's perfectly located near restaurants/shops/etc.

Furnishings and layout/space is fantastic. Not many things to dislike. Parking isn’t as convenient as a typical hotel, but even that is fine.

Very unique property , spacious and great location

Gibson’s Warehouse is a lovely well designed, comfortable property. Our unit was perfect for our stay offering kitchen and sitting area for tv viewing. Unit was beautifully decorated, bed linens and comfortable mattress adds to a great night of sleep! Parking spot was available in front of property making luggage transfer easy. There is nothing not to love about this property!

Fabulous, spacious layout. Good quality kitchen facility, dish ware, utensils. Higher end toiletries provided. Comfy bed and linens. Very clean. Some noise from area businesses and other occupants well into the evening, but we put the provided noise machine to good use and all was well. We loved this stay, it felt quite posh, and was extremely comfortable.

Very clean room, plenty of extra towels and blankets, and the snacks were welcomed.

This was our third time staying at Gibson's Warehouse. Huge room with kitchen and separate TV viewing area. Bed is very comfortable. Location is super. Just a few blocks to great wine bars (try Yelping Dog) and a great meal was had at Mill Street Restaurant. I highly recommend.

Everything was clean and comfortable as always. We love staying here as it is always very nice and can be counted on for a very lovely place to stay. It is very convenient to everything in town and a nice walk to just about anything.

Great place!! Very clean!! The bed was very comfortable!! The location is excellent!! Eat at Byers Street Bistrp- absolutely delicious!! Visit the glass blowing place, Pufferbellies toy store, OX- Eye Vineyard tasting room, and Red Beard Berwery!! Highly recommend all for a wonderful time!!

Awesome location, clean, spacious, comfortable bed and bedding. Easy check-in. The snacks were a nice touch. Full kitchen. Lots of kids channels on the TV. Found the white noise machine helpful to block out ambient noise from the restaurant below. The pillows were not the most comfortable. Needs Better window coverings to block out light.

The room was very clean, it was easy to get into the building and the room and I felt very safe!

Beautiful space, immaculate and nice to have extra towels, soap, tissues, etc. Amazingly quiet for urban location. Self check in at night. Venue is next to a bar. Limited parking and had to park a bit far. Not good for older person with pulmonary issues. Also outer door very heavy; could be easier if once the door was unlocked with the code, there was an automatic opener that one could push to release the door for entry!

Hotel was exceptionally clean and everything was modern and of high quality. The location was also excellent and the rooms are at street level. We think some cerious thought went into the design of the room, the appliances and dishes and ect.. If one arrived on AMTRACK, your room was just accros the street. We really liked the spaceous feel the room has. If we are ever in Stauton agin, this would be our first choice. Our only complaint would be that we could not get Brett Baier and Jessie on FOX NEWS. This is a place that is hard to find fault with.

Great location, a short walk to restaurants and shops. Owners care about guests having a nice stay. The room was clean, spacious, and modern - would stay here again.

I am a world traveler. This is my honest opinion about this place. It was Convenient and Open concept. When I heard the name warehouse, I was thinking of a crappy place. It wasn’t. I was good . I was able to get food from the restaurant downstairs in the evening. That also, made me happy. I am giving a score of 9.5. I would have given a perfect score. Please change the instructions to open the front door . Only code and press ENTER key. Please remove the “&” from the instructions. It is confusing. There is no “&” on the panel. I was confused. There was no Tea bags. Some of us like to have Tea instead of coffee. You should have some tea bags too for the guests. No strainer in the kitchen sink. No kitchen sink strainer and no tea bags.

We liked the large rooms and the excellent location in downtown Staunton.

Fantastic accommodation comprising of a king size bed, separate lounge area with 2 chairs and a TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A very comfortable arrangement and superbly situated for exploring Staunton and the surrounding area.

Great downtown location in a very cool building. The room is so spacious and well appointed easy to stay multiple days here. Classy and comfortable in a genuine old warehouse conversion.

Hosts thought of everything! From the well appointed kitchen with snacks to the great body wash in the shower. The studio is beautiful. Perfect industrial look that mimics the area in which it belongs. Definitely will book again!

So much nicer to stay here than a roadside motel. Tons of charm and character. We had dinner out and walked downtown afterwards.

We really like staying at the Gison's Warehouse. I felt so comfortable in the room - it was clean, stylish, roomy, and had extras that made us feel important. The woman (assuming she is the owner) made sure we got in okay and shared with us where to dine. We will be traveling by there frequently and plan on making this one of our usual stops. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

This is a great property. It’s a wonderful setting and the owners have thought everything through. The only thing that was a problem was the king size bed. The fitted sheet, the mattress cover, and the pillowcases would not stay on the bed and made sleeping there uncomfortable. However, a great location.

Large, clean space. Great communication with property owners. They send you the check in codes ahead of your arrival so you can walk right into your room. Really close to shopping and dining options.

We have a great stay

This was the perfect stay if you are looking for a quaint town, ease of check in, fantastic accommodations-fresh, new, spotless and so very comfortable are just a few words that come to mind. This unique Airbnb is in walking distance to restaurants and shops. The hosts were quick to respond. We were traveling to Asheville to donate children’s books and plushies to a school affected by Helene, so I’ve included some photos of The Grumpy Biscuit and Grumpy himself- looking happy because he had a great stay and highly recommends Gibson’s Warehouse. It’s a surprisingly wonderful find!

Spit spot and super-interesting place to stay!

I stay in Stanton very often, but this is my new favorite place! It’s super comfortable, very convenient, stylish, and I just enjoyed my stay immensely!

Parking was easy, as well as building/room access. Location is perfect as well, park the car and walk to everything you need.

Antique stores and shops are just two blocks away. We parked, for free, directly in front of the hotel. We went out the front door at our car was right there. We frequently drive from Delaware to South Carolina and stop somewhere midway overnight. We no longer must make a decision about where to stay. This hotel will be our go to place.

We will definitely stay at Gibson’s Warehouse next time we visit Staunton VA.

We fought a wonky common door coded lock. Sometimes opened first try, sometimes tenth try. It is a great apartment. Wish the windows could open for fresh air. Nice location, but odd noises from upstairs. Overall it was a mixed positive overall stay. Would recommend it with a few heads-ups.

This our second time staying at Gibson's Warehouse. Our first tim was in Unit 4, this time we stayed in Unit 1. We liked Unit 1 a little better since the view is to the rear of the building. Unit 1 has windows looking out to the street. All in all our stay was great, the unit was very clean and well equipped. The only negative is the mattress is sunken in the middle, so you feel like its rolling you to the middle, would be nice if this was fixed. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We loved the location for walking to the cidery, brewery, the bistro and the Depot. The Farmer's Market on Saturday was wonderful. Jenna showed us the shortcut to go downstairs to the Bistro and the front parking lot. The room was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. It is a five star place!

We enjoyed our stay at Gibson’s Warehouse in Staunton. The property is well located in the downtown area and is in walking distance to wine tasting rooms, a brewery, and many excellent restaurants. Our room was large, clean and comfortable.

The hospitality of the host was unmatched. The location, the amazing detail of the room. It was like your own studio apartment right on the street and the fact that we got room number one with the most amazing windows overlooking the street was such an added, plus I would stay here again, 100 times over.

Remote check in was quick and easy, very clean, great location in downtown and the washer & dryer was a big bonus!

We loved everything. Restored warehouse apt style room. Tall ceilings, so much attention to detail, upscale toiletries, old beams, brick wall, just perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at Gibson's Warehouse #4. The place is newly renovated, beautifully furnished and decorated. It was also super clean. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the hosts have definitely gone out of there way to ensure that. I would highly recommend Gibson's Warehouse if you are in the Staunton Area. Also, this building is in town and close to restaurants, wine bars, shops, etc. All within walking distance. We recommend Yelping Dog Winery and Remedy Burger, there is also a fantastic waffle shop in town for breakfast.

We were in unit #4 which overlooks the back parking lot. It's a big and cute space, comfy bed and nice to have the kitchen set up. We did have an issue with noise though. It sounded like an upstairs neighbor was having a party, and it was very loud. Thankfully it didn't go too late. I messaged the host, and they were quick to respond, though thought it may be the restaurant downstairs. If it wasn't for that, it would have been great. Bring earplugs or request a different unit.

What a great place to stay when in Staunton! Great location, steps to dining. Tastefully updated warehouse into loft-style rooms. Every amenity you need and out standing customer service! Would definitely recommend this gem!

Gibsons is always an excellent place to stay for a couple getaway! The suite is massive. Very clean. Owners are quick to answer and help. It’s right in a small little downtown area! Great choice for a little getaway!

The contactless check-in and check-out was flawless and we parked directly outside our room. Highly recommended for both short and long stays!

I was surprised that no staff is at the property, we simply had a code to access the building and a code to access the room. All worked well. Room was nice, spacious, "city view" was worth it, great location.

Huge, clean room. Great design, spacious full kitchen with full size frig, stove, dishwasher. Free use of washer and dryer with supplies. Everything impeccably clean. Thoughtful complimentary supplies for Keurig machine in room and snacks and bottled water. Cool historical building. Solid soundproofing. High quality products in bathroom and kitchen. Very helpful communication from owners detailing everything we needed to know for our comfort and convenience. Highly recommend!

This is a remodeled warehouse which produced a superb property. The room was HUGH. Like a New York loft. The remodeling is first rate in every respect. Check in was done remotely. Nonetheless Jenna was always available by phone with any questions. There are NO negatives to report. Would only stay there if in the same area again.

Been to Staunton a few times, bc it's just a gem of a town and the people are all fantastic, but we never stayed at Gibson's...omg, it was incredible, maybe the coolest places we've ever stayed! The room was huge, full kitchen if that's what you're looking for, tall ceilings, exposed original beams, expertly done to maintain that historical sense, yet with a modern industrial flare. We stayed 2 nights, and couldn't stop talking about how much we loved it! Super convenient to everything in downtown Staunton, which if you've never been, it's a super cool town. And Jenna, one of the owners/operators, was incredibly helpful and sweet. Cannot recommend Gibson's enough!

Wow! What a place. Easy self-service check-in. We appreciated the messages from the owners who were absent but responsive. The room was huge, spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Details about the history of the building were interesting. We loved Staunton and the location of Gibson's was great for exploring the small town and grabbing a drink at the taprooms down the street. We slept brilliantly in the biggest bed I think I've ever seen!

This is an amazing property! It is located in a great location. My wife and I only stayed one night, but will definitely return anytime we’re in Staunton.

Light sleepers and those who want to go to bed early be warned . A restaurant right bellow the window has outside seating that closes down at 10:00. There’s someone upstairs who isn’t loud, but you can hear every step they take squeak through. There was also some noise in the morning that woke us up because it sounded like someone was trying to get in the room but it was just noise traveling from elsewhere. My only wish is that the bathroom mirror lights were stronger. Very difficult to get ready for the day and apply makeup under. The location is convenient and walkable to the rest of the area. We didn’t use our car all weekend. 10/10 would stay again.

The room was very large and well equipped. It had a full kitchen which was great for heating up leftovers or storing food. It isn't set up to make a gourmet meal, but is great for the basics. Would definitely stay here again.

There is no face to face contact with management, only email and phone conversations. Rooms include full kitchen. Easy access to historic downtown Staunton restaurants, breweries, cideries, and wine tasting rooms. Management attention to detail is impressive.
