Reviews
The Nordic Lodge has a prime location, with easy access to downtown shops, restaurants, and the ski resort. However, the hotel has mixed reviews, with guests praising the friendly staff but expressing dissatisfaction with the lack of amenities, cleanliness issues, and construction noise. Some guests also reported problems with billing and customer service.
- Excellent location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Lack of amenities (e.g., no breakfast, no pool, no hot tub, no gym)
- Cleanliness issues (e.g., mold, dust, stains, dirty sheets)

Second time I’ve stayed here. Pretty much right in the center of town with several good restaurants within walking distance. Lots of shops too and easy access to the river.

Loved the clean comfortable room. The pool and hot tub were a hidden gem. Located in the heart of downtown Steamboat within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Close to Fish Creek Falls. A very lovely experience.

Location No alarm clock, no USB hookup, no hook in bathroom for clothes, towels, no trash can in bathroom, bathroom door opening inches (or less) from toilet, bed was slanted to one side,

Very clean and very friendly staff. Only thing holding back a full 5 stars is the smallness for 3 people in one room.

The Nordic Lodge is our favorite hotel whenever we go to Steamboat. The rooms are nice and clean, the coffee in the office is fresh and strong, and the staff are AMAZING! Shut out to all the welcoming staff and especially Deloris for suggesting her favorite Pizza place to us!

Great location with a friendly staff.

Great location. Room was old, but clean. Hot tub was lovely. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean, great bed, much less expensive, walking distance right in downtown. Not luxury
- 4/5
great location and staff extremely helpful
- 3/5
Good location. The rooms were adequate. Nice beds. Very quiet. The grout in the bathroom floor was cracking out so it didn't look clean - but it may have been! The description said there was a large soaker tub but I don't think anyone would describe a 1960 tub/shower combo as such!
- 4.5/5
Great location. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable. Not. Much.
- 4/5
We chose for adequate quality and good location. Nordic was a win on both!
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
That location was amazing I was wondering I was like I hope he comes back. Have a good day
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was very nice. Excellent location, right in the middle of town so can walk everywhere
- 5/5
Fantastic location and super friendly staff!
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, the location is wonderful (central to lots of great dining!) and the accommodations were clean and comfortable, I would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms, great staff. Close to everything. Great walking distance to all the downtown places
- 4/5

Amazing Staff!
- 4/5
Easy check in, parking easy and Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Surprised our room did not have a coffee machine but coffee was available in the office lobby.
- 5/5
Nice touch that they had a rubber mat for snow boots
- 4/5
Just up for a weekend get-away date night. Room is basic, but nice. No frills hotel.
- 1/5
The owner was very abrasive and argumentative with me while trying to check in. The advanced check-in email gave me the option of choosing an earlier check-in time. Apparently that was not ok according to the owner and he let me know it in a very rude way. My advice would be to not give the option of an early check-in via email if it’s going to ruin your day. Also, this motel is very overpriced for the most basic of amenities. Plus there isn’t enough parking for all the guests.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Loved the Nordic Lodge. It was clean, centrally located, close to shops, restaurants and bus stops. They have complementary hot chocolate and popcorn. My son loved both of these amenities.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Good value and very friendly staff!
- 3/5
Listing said queen size bed but it was actually a full. Crowded for two people. Also the heater was in a weird place right next to the bed and woke me up every time it turned on overnight.
- 4/5
Location of Lodge is fantastic. About 30 minutes from the airport and directly across the street from the bus stop that goes the main ski resort / gondola. The rooms were pretty clean, although the sheets in the pull out sofas had not been changed and were gross. However, the front desk clerk Dominic was great and very attentive / apologetic. He personally got new sheets and changed out the sofa beds. We booked and stayed in the apartment style room which had a full kitchen and enclosed bedroom. The kitchen had the essentials: a few pots and pans along with sufficient utensils. The refrigerator was big and clean. We felt safe and comfortable for our entire trip. We would definitely book and stay there again.
- 5/5
Great value, great location on "main street" aka Lincoln. Room was clean, staff was very nice, hot tub was great. easy walk to dinner and short drive to the slopes, great value overall.
- 5/5
The room was basic but clean and well equipped. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was dated but very comfortable however it was set at 104 degrees which to us was a bit too hot. But that’s a personal preference thing! The hotel is right on the free bus line to the mountain which we felt was terrifically convenient! We would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The hotel is nice and clean, great staff.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, clean room, great location
- 5/5
Everything was great—clean and well organized. The only small issue was that the bathroom had a slight odor, likely coming from the shower curtain.
- 5/5
Easy online check in.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, friendly staff
- 2/5
The room smelled bad. There was dust and my gf got sick from it.
- 5/5
Great location firet of all, cannot have it better. Eighr near all of those stores and restaurants. The room was super clean and nice. Front deak is very friendly. Great value!
- 5/5
Nice room, right on main street, great staff and an excellent value.
- 5/5
Staff was great! Check in and check out very streamlined! Close to everything!
- 3/5
The rooms look more run down in reality than in the photos. A mattress on one of the beds was slanted- you slide to a side while you're sleeping and if you're sleeping with someone, both of you end up bundled on a side of bed. Other than that you receive what you’ve paid for. It's more a motel than a hotel. Staff is friendly. You can have tea or coffee 24/7 at the reception. Hot tub is fine
- 3/5
Plusses. Unit was clean. Lots was clean and room was quiet. Overall just be upfornt. Its not much money. They weren't horrible but i won't be back
- 4/5
Be careful getting out of the hot tub and going down the stairs. The handrail is short I didn't use it. I was walking carefully, still slipped and almost whacked my head, fortunately I just sprained my toes. The hot tub was hot not warm (105-106 ish) which I liked. Jets are a bit weak. Bed was very comfy. I would go back.
- 4/5
Downtown location, clean room, friendly staff, easy check in & out
- 5/5
True gem motel
- 5/5
Staff was amazing
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Great location.
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Besides that, one of the workers was really kind and had offered a night at the same rate I’ve gotten the night before. But then the more managerial karen type person refused to honor it. Keyword: Honor.
- 5/5
Cleaning crew just walked in without knocking. No do not disturb singage available in room.
- 3/5
The room was clean, the staff was nice and greeted us when we first got there to check in, we didn't realize the lodge was going to be open door access as in you walk straight into your room from the outside as a motel but other than that was good. The actual room was set up as a hotel. Except, two of our lights were flickering the whole time if they were on. We did end up loving our stay as a couple getaway.
- 5/5
We have stayed at The Nordic Lodge twice now, both times have been a great experience. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and it is right downtown Steamboat Springs so you can walk to local restaurants/shopping. At this point it has become an annual stay in the Fall. The only thing that has been a bummer both times is the heated pool is not very heated which means our little one doesn't want to swim or she turns purple.
- 2/5
The room was good but the location is bad as it feet from heavy truck and congested traffic. So if you need to sleep not an ideal place to stay( probably anywhere on the main drag of Steamboat). Also the room heater was obnoxious and loud on top of noisy traffic.
- 5/5
Nice Motel, good bed, room is clean and quiet. Parking can be an issue if the motel is full. We have stayed at this property numerous times in the past and it has always been a good stay
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Friendly staff. My room was nice and clean and well appointed. The location is great! Tons of shops and a variety of restaurants. Walkable to some really nice parks as well. Will definitely be back!
- 4/5
Good location and place
- 3/5
Beds were bad & leaned to the left so you thought you were falling out. Sheets & blankets were good. Table & chairs were from the flinstones. This is really more of an old motor lodge. It was clean & location was great but I wouldn’t stay again.
- 5/5
The Nordic Lodge was perfect in many ways. It accommodated 3 adults with 3 beds, a huge plus. There were several places to eat, within walking distance with great food. The manager was incredible! He was friendly, and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend!!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay, staff were wonderful! Also it is right downtown so great spots to eat and shop. If you get a little crazy there is an IV place across the street
- 3/5
Everything was good, but the pillows were very uncomfortable and I could not sleep.
- 4/5
Conveniently located to old town. Room was clean but would be nice to have coffee in the room.
- 3/5
very beautiful town, lots of people
- 5/5
Easy check in and room was as advertised
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 4/5
Excellent value property in the heart of town.
- 4/5
This is a super convenient choice to stay in town. It is right on the main strip and has parking included. The rooms were comfy and clean. It’s more of a nice motel vibe than a lodge but the staff was great and we had no issues with the room. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Great stay. Just what we needed. Walking distance to downtown food, drink, and shops.
- 5/5
We were able to bring our 2 dogs. Our room was clean and best of all the bed and pillows were comfortable. If we ever go through Steamboat again, we will stay here
- 5/5
Nice big clean room with 3 beds, nice little pool and hot tub. Right downtown walkable to everything.
- 5/5
The hotel front desk rep was very professional.
- 5/5
Nordic lodge is right downtown so convenient for restaurants and shopping. Front desk staff were very pleasant. Room was comfortable and clean. This lodge is old but would stay here again. We did not use the pool, or hot tub so cannot comment on those. We would most likely stay here again in the future. Also, free coffee is available in the front lobby.
- 5/5
Old, but clean & nice. Need upgraded tv service
- 4/5
Friendly staff and pet positive stay! Super convenient location... We would consider Nordic Lodge again.
- 3/5
Hotel room was clean but seemed old and well-used.
- 5/5
What a great bed!!!! The room was so inviting and the staff is wonderful!!! Will stay again!!
- 5/5
Very comfortable, clean room in the middle of town. Friendly staff. No criticisms whatsoever.
- 5/5
Delightful stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a great place to relax. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.
- 3/5
Room was not ready by check-in time.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Was along the main street of old town and you were able to walk anywhere
- 5/5
Everything was great! Just what we needed for a quick overnight—nothing fancy.
- 4/5
Pretty dang basic for price.
- 3/5
The location is excellent, and the staff is equally great! There are plenty of things to do, and there are many restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, we were stuck between rooms occupied by young construction workers who slammed doors and sat outside our room to chat and laugh. I understand that you can’t control people’s behavior, but placing them at the end of the building would be a significant improvement
- 5/5
TV was good, fridge good, ice
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. Clean and unique hotel. Quite and quaint. Walkable to anywhere you want to go.
- 3/5
It’s old but clean.
- 5/5
Comfortable. Great location. Good value.
- 4/5
It was a nice place to stay that was walkable to downtown and the river trail. Friendly and Cowan!
- 5/5
The property is very conveniently located near the main downtown area. There are plenty of shops and eating options within walking distance. The Yampa river is one block from the property.
- 5/5
Safe place to stay
- 3/5
The bed was wet on one side. We got to the room late and was ready for bed so we just huddled to one side. That is on the room staff. The rest of people I dealt with were pretty decent. Overall, too pricey but was somewhat adequate. Probably wont go back.
- 5/5
Na
- 5/5
The bed was great! Room was cool with AC running. Hotel was full every day.
- 5/5
It was a nice clean hotel. Located downtown Steamboat. Parking is a little scarce. Check in early to get a spot
- 4/5
convenience and quiet!
- 5/5
Great location. Rooms are just what you need. Team is great.
- 2/5
Air filters clogged, missing covers for utilities, broken shower, and rusty fixtures.
- 5/5
Great area, walking too shopping, restaurants, parks and river.
- 3/5
There was an issue with my reservation. I had to add an extra day to my stay. I called ahead to insure that I wouldn’t have to change rooms and requested first floor room. I was able to stay in the same room after fixing the reservation when I arrived but was put on the second floor.
- 3/5
Easy to get to, but the room seems dated. The noisy air conditioner struggled to cool the room. The lack of an elevator was a challenge, as well.
- 4/5
Would be nice to have coffee pot in room. There was no refrigerator in our room, but it was mentioned to us.
- 5/5
Great location and super clean hotel
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. We were riding the GDMBR and the hotel accommodated our bikes.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay
- 4/5
Close to downtown stores and returants.
- 4/5
I was a little skeptical when I arrived at the Nordic Lodge. The building was a bit dated, the complex was right on the main drag and there were smokers in the parking lot. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I checked into my room. Everything was clean and functional, especially the bathroom where there was instant hot water. I was right next to the road, but my room was quiet. The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. The bed was a bit soft for me, but I prefer a very firm mattress. I would stay there again.
- 4/5
The Nordic Lodge was chosen as our stay because it was the best price for our budget in a town where it's a very pricey tourist town. But, we were happy to see that the lodging was clean and comfortable albeit the building being a bit older. The reception staff was accommodating and the rooms were clean. Since there is a very basic cereal box breakfast in the lobby, we'd wanted a real breakfast. So, I only wish that the office staff had told us that, if you want a to go to a restaurant in the area for breakfast, you need to make reservations because there was an hour wait at all of the places we tried to walk to go to. All-in-all, it was a nice place to stay.
- 4/5
The Nordic Lodge worked well for our stay in Steamboat! Staff was very friendly! Lodge itself is a little outdated - no elevator for second floor if carrying a lot of stuff. Parking was a little tough. Did enjoy that it had a pool and hot tub and was walkable with it being on the main street with stores and restaurants.
- 4/5
The room was laid out great! The staff was great as well. Beds were not that comfortable however. A/C was in the entry, but not in rooms. Was difficult for cold air to enter rooms from entry. And the best part was when our water was shut off from 10PM to 2AM. That took a bit of planning around, but just seemed bad timing.
- 1/5
Absolutely horrible hotel. There was some weird splatter on the walls, shoe prints, the a/c barely functioned, and the room smelled like mold.
- 3/5
Nice location and the pool area is nice. Had to wait a while for the room to be ready
- 3/5
The room smelled musty like it had mold. There were bugs in the bathroom too.
- 5/5
Very accessible down town. The staff were very nice and when I asked for a downstairs room accommodated that request. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well which is unusual in motel for me. The carpet was a little dated but otherwise the room has the basics and was very clean.
- 5/5
Great location to downtown.
- 5/5
Beautiful property! Dogs were allowed and even had their own dog area to potty with provided supplies if you forgot yours! The kids LOVED the pool area. We reserved the triple bed and it was exactly what we wanted and was pictured. Bathrooms and beds were clean(I’m the type to do a 5 point clean check so I know🙈) staff were super friendly and check in was smooth and quick. Great location to walk to food/shopping or just looking for great views for pictures. Would definitely stay again!
- 3/5
Location great for one night stay but would not recommend for long term. Seems a bit sketchy with my two young girls to be independent
- 5/5
Shy was very capable and gave us good local info for dinner. She was quick, detailed and thorough.
- 4/5
Great location. Lovely, private pool along a small creek. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Terrific older property with good updates.
- 5/5
Nice staff.. (Mouse) even helped with our luggage. Nice pool which was fenced with a grassy area which we used and loved. It also had a nice sized hot tub which we did not use. The bed was amazing and the kitchenette had all the amenities!
- 5/5
I have been absolutely charmed by this property! The rooms are excellent, and it is conveniently close by everything in Steamboat Springs.
- 5/5
Beds were comfortable. Quality shower pressure. Parking lot is smaller
- 3/5
Room was really dirty. Dried snot on the walls and pictures. Stains on the comforters. Walls looked to be half-painted in a different color.
- 5/5
The room was simple, comfortable and what we needed. Plenty of space for a family of three plus our dog. The kitchen was super helpful with early mornings and the location is perfect if you’re not into driving everywhere and worrying about parking.
- 5/5
Right in downtown. Hot tub needed cleaning and resurfacing but pool was nice.
- 3/5
Cons: The room was small for a family of four, but it was okay since we were just there for one night. I would not have wanted to stay longer. The bathroom was not the cleanest and the hot water in the shower ran out 2 minutes into my shower. There were also little gnats flying all over the room. All in all, if I ever go back to Steamboat Springs, I will stay somewhere else.
- 5/5
Very clean! Friendly staff and perfect location
- 2/5
When you pick the hotel because it has a pool and then, upon arrival, see that the pool is empty and under construction you have some very disappointed kids. Otherwise, the place was clean and the staff was helpful and courteous.

- 5/5
Room was small but comfortable. The motel was in the middle of town which was walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
- 3/5
Decent place nice amenit
- 4/5
The door had an electronic lock, which operated, but when I went to lock the deadbolt it wouldn't work(night lock). I ended up pushing the dresser in front of the door. I let the front desk know, but nothing was done. It was quiet and clean. Noticed the door jab had had some prior damage.
- 5/5
Clean, great location, friendly staff
- 4/5
Nice affordable hotel for this generally overpriced area. Room was nice sized and well laid out. The bed was comfortable and clean. We liked the table and chairs and large refrigerator. There could have been a couple more lamps, especially on the table and nightstand. Area is a little noisy, but the hotel is right downtown. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Quaint but very pleasant.
- 4/5
Hotel has great location near eateries and all shops on the main street. Price was good and front desk staff very courteous. I rated overall and service one number lower since they do housekeeping only on request.
- 4/5
Central location. No coffee in the rooms, had to go to the office. Room clean and had lots of room
- 5/5
Staff was very accommodating.
- 5/5
The hotel is very nice, rooms basic, beds super comfy. When I checked in there was some billing confusion but the next day the manager, Crystal, came to the rescue. She was beyond helpful and generous and did her best to rectify the situation. She came up with solutions and went out of her way to fix the problem that was out of her control. I cannot say enough about her caring attitude and follow up. I 100% recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
Nordic lodge was excellent. Located within walking distance to shoppin and food. Staff was amazing and would definately stay here again!
- 5/5
The person at the front desk was so nice and accommodating and made sure we were able to get a quiet room for a good night's sleep! This was SO appreciated! We had a great stay and wanted to make sure they got a shout out. Thank you so much! We will be staying here again.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at the Nordic Lodge, we've stayed before but this time was more affordable and we had a room withorw than enough space for our party. The staff was amazing from checkin to check out. 10/10 would recommend.
- 5/5
We liked that it was on the west side of town
- 5/5
Clean and quaint and perfect for a weekend stay!
- 5/5
The staff is super fun and so nice. The rooms are cute and bigger than I imagined. Very clean. Hot tub was not working and heated pool was closed, those were selling points so I wish we could have gone into at least one. Otherwise, this was a really good choice. They have a good fridge of refreshments, there’s good hot coffee at all times, some snacks too. Very cute!
- 5/5
Overall the Nordic Lodge was a good choice for my stay. The room was not large but was clean and had everything that I needed for a restful night. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The hotel is in a great location in Steamboat Springs within an easy walk to restaurants and shops.
- 5/5
Nice, clean, older property located in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
- 4/5
Nice cozy spot downtown with comfortable beds and a clean room
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Unreliable WiFi, so I docked my rating for that. It’s slow and a really weak signal inside the room. Had to go to the lobby to book stuff on line and my daughter had a Zoom interview that was hard to line up due to poor internet service.
- 3/5
Walking distance to to food i town great! Hot tub was HOT but as you started looking around it kinda left you feeling gross😞
- 4/5
Great value and location
- 3/5
The bathroom was a little funky. The shower curtain had a hard time to stay closed. It was not very well ventilated. Another thing is the wifi is spotty.
- 5/5
I thought the front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. The HVAC worked great with no issues and the hot tub was HOT!
- 5/5
Loved the clean, comfortable room, the location is great to walk around Downtown for shopping and to grab dinner or beer.
- 4/5
Not a huge deal for us, but might be for others.
- 5/5
Loved our stay here. The rooms were nice and it was easy to walk to restaurants and the riverwalk.
- 1/5
This review is not meant to be berate a local business but it’s about economics and reality. Is the property in a great location in downtown, yes. But let me ask you, if you spend $400 on a pair of shoes, you expect them to fit and last, if you pay $400 for a nice dinner, you expect great service and exceptional food. If you spend $400 on a motel room, you expect to get a good nights sleep after a long day of travel. From the paperthin walls, to the annoying guests in the next room that arrived at 2 AM that we could literally hear flushing the toilets and brushing their teeth and their conversations, to the snow plows and garbage trucks that started at 5 AM through 9 AM in the morning, tell me, what did you get for $400 except less money in your wallet and less sleep. Never again.
- 4/5
Great downtown location but overpriced
- 5/5
Good access to the city bus to and from the ski slope.
- 5/5
Stayed here for two nights after a week in Steamboat before we flew out. Great people at the front desk- property is clean and super convenient to eating and shopping in town.
- 5/5
Wonderful location!
- 3/5
My family of four all agree that the Nordic Lodge offered convince and met our basic amenity needs. Location was great, staff (Sara) was was wonderful and parking was nice. We would have appreciated more options to hang ski gear and winter layers and the hot tub is questionable. Wes stay there again.
- 5/5
Great spot in town, close to everything and provides all the things you need. Recently redone/repainted and well kept. Great staff. Awesome spot to lay our heads & get around from for the family, between 2 days skiing.
- 4/5
Very Adequate. It was a hassle to have to go get new towels every day.
- 4/5
Great location with all of the downtown in easy walking distance. Beautiful doggies in the main office to pet along with tea and hot chocolate. Location was quiet and clean. Easy parking. 8min to mountain by car or very easy free bus across the street. Would stay again
- 4/5
This place is great
- 4/5
Overall the stay was good. I'd stay here again. The room was clean but also outdated. There was a musty smell in my room and the bed was old. I'd give this place 5 stars if they did the vinyl flooring many places are doing to get rid of carpet must and it had a newer less lumpy mattress.
- 1/5
All in all the trip was great But getting checked into the hotel was a bit of a struggle
- 5/5
It was a good deal in a prime location.
- 2/5
The rooms smelt so badly like pee. The carpets are so disgusting we lined them with towels and wore socks and shoes the entire time. The bathroom also smelt like pee and was not very clean.
- 4/5
The facilities were nice and warm. The temperature was quite cold when we visited. Parking was convenient, we walked to most of our dining destinations and the public transportation (bus) was great. The bus brought us from Nordic Lodge to the ski resort and back for free. It's a good place and we would stay again.
- 4/5
This is the 3rd or 4th I’ve stayed here for the great location.
- 4/5
The staff were very nice and super helpful with questions. Made me feel right at home!
- 4/5
I have been staying at the Nordic for many years. I like staying in town in Steamboat and the rooms are clean and it’s convenient. For what they charge they should be able to improve the hot tub area, and it should be cleaned daily. It was very dirty.
- 4/5
The greatest benefit of this hotel is its location within walking distance of all the best restaurants and businesses in Steamboat. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was noisy with traffic and snowplows. There isn’t a comfortable chair to be had..
- 5/5
Perfect location if you are taking free town bus to ski slopes
- 4/5
Great location - make sure you get queen beds if you pay for them not double beds. We checked in and they gave us the double beds not great for 4 adults
- 3/5
Great location, however, we did find that our mattress pad was covered in pee stains

Amazing location right in the heart of downtown walking to everything. The front desk staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and super clean! Will stay again esp for the great price in steamboat

The Nordic Lodge is a great place to stay!

First room smelled bad. Next room had a light outside but it wasn’t working
- 4/5
Great location for us and our pup.

Nice staff. Parking was narrow and difficult to manuver mid size truck. Entrance to room and rug inside room needs to be replaced, worn and smelly. Room had nice bed, sink but old shower curtain did not cover tub area.
- 5/5
The check-in process was easy and the woman at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable about Steamboat.

Sweet but terrible road noise kept us up all night. Overpriced for the experience.
- 3/5
Pricey but to be expected this time of year. The room was near the street and traffic noise was heard. The heater was noisy too and could not be adjusted, just turned off.
- 4/5
Room was clean, but hot tub was not clean. The staff were very friendly

Great location.

Old fashioned and out of date rooms and facilities. Electrics rather scary. Especially for the price.
- 5/5
Great room with very friendly staff. Expensive, but nothing in Steamboat is cheap!
- 5/5
Super friendly check in and answered all our questions about the area. Rooms are comfortable and clean!
- 5/5
Loved the location and the room was comfortable - terrific staff!
- 5/5
Comfortable beds. No frills. The shower soap caddy kept falling off the wall, which wasnt pleasant in the middle of the night.
- 4/5
The location is in the heart of Downtown Steamboat, which was very convenient. I only had to walk a block for good restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Justin, and all the front desk clerks were very friendly. The shuttle to Strawberry Springs Hot Springs picks up right at the hotel lobby! That was awesome! I will definitely go back again.

Amazing place with great views near by
- 5/5
The location is perfect! Restaurants and bars in walking distance. I was pleasantly surprised with the rustic solid wood furniture and the modern lighting. And I had a room with an awesome view!

Very clean, spacious room

This is not a new place, but in spite of that it was very acceptable and comfortable. The bed and pillows where great and it's in a really great location. The staff are very lovely and friendly

Good stay

Ceiling light fixture in the bathroom has exposed wiring/exposed housing They only provided one bath towel in the room Reception was pleasant about this and provided extra towels and set of clean sheets but didn’t have a housekeeper on duty at 4pm to clean room and re-make bed

Needs remodel
- 5/5
It was clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Location can’t be beat for downtown Steamboat. Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Floors of room were filthy - just disgusting. Seemed like they hadn’t been steam cleaned/shampoo’d in a year with heavy mountain town use. My kids’ feet were black. I couldn’t find my shoes for a minute from the bedroom to the bathroom and my socks are ruined. Need better maintenance if you are going to have hotel carpet.

Clean and great Main Street location. Definitely not a $250-$300 night motel, but had a nice stay

We has dirty sheets and bed bugs.
- 4/5
For the most part it was a nice little motel. But for the entire week that I was there both the pool and hot tub we're closed down for repair. And my room wasn't cleaned once and that entire week.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, in a great location with shopping and restaurants .
- 4/5
Hot tub didn't work but it is a great location
- 5/5
Very cozy and clean. Really enjoyed the location and walkable distance to nearby stores and entertainment.
- 4/5
Otherwise it was spacious, comfortable and clean with lots of windows/light and all modern appliances. I would stay there again but know to bring everything I need to cook and clean in the kitchen.
- 3/5
This is an older motel, but the location in downtown Steamboat is fantastic. Beds were comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful and the price is reasonable for Steamboat.
- 5/5
Really nice staff and stay for me going solo. Only one night but would definitely return here if needed. Right downtown for everything you need to walk is wonderful.
- 4/5
Its your typical ski hotel. I was there for a bike race in late summer, it met the bill for location but not price
- 4/5
Great to be able to walk to town, breakfast and rodeo.
- 3/5
Great location for walkers! shopping, dining etc... staff was very nice, got us in a little early which really helped. Room was very small for 2 beds, but was clean and everything worked well including the A/C which was needed. I would stay here in a second

My favorite part of staying at the Nordic inn is the bedding!
- 5/5
It was nice. Website said breakfast was served was not just coffee and hot tea. Also no coffee maker in room.
- 5/5
Perfect spot in downtown and nice room!
- 5/5
Great stay, clean, and good walking distance from all the good spots in town!
- 3/5
Great location and nice staff but hotel could definitely use some love...Room wasn't very clean, pool was so dirty we decided not to use, bathroom floor was so slanted I thought the whole building might fall over...time for some updates in my opinion!

Great value and walking distance to all of our favorite activities, shopping and restaurants.

Clean room, friendly staff, very walkable location on main street. Room was slanted to the right about 5 degrees. Pool was out of oreder but ifmyou wanted to swim you could go to a "sister" property a few blocks away.

Simple hotel in perfect location. Id stay here again. We at ar Seeds, and Creekside cafe. Both amazing. Great beer at Yampa brewey and great overall.

In spite of convenient location, this property should be avoided. It was dirty and barely functional with a broken bed, dirty bathroom and air conditioner that was loud and barely operational. Front desk staff was nice but had no ability to fix issues. Not worth the high cost.
