The place is old and minimuly kept up. Provided bare minimums and the area leaves much to be desired. Cheap, yes but barely worth the money. Independant facilities lack corp. supervision, and this is obvious .... See above

It is what its name says. Room was clean, except for the bathroom sink. Staff was friendly, but I had only two opportunities to interact with them. The place is in the process of renovation - my room had new flooring, for instance The neighborhood is not the nicest Tallahassee has to offer, but it is convenient to FSU.

The property is severely run down and not clean. Nothing but drug attics on the premises and you have disturbing notices all night. I do not recommend!!!!

It was nice until I wanted to stay another day….. for 1 person and a single king on Expedia site …. It was $41….. when I went to rent another night I was told it would be $75…..??? And if I booked it on Expedia there would be a $10 charge for checking in early…… OR….. I could pay the Expedia rate again…. But I would have to leave by 11 and then wait for 4 hours and check in again at 3pm…… some really really weird rules…. I’ve been staying in many hotels and never heard this before….. they don’t seem to want people there for multiple days……

I don't know where to begin. I selected a non smoking room. It smelled like smoke as soon as we walked in. I went to use the restroom and the door wouldn't close unless I picked it up. I don't mean a light lift either. The bathroom had pub hair all over the toilet. The sink wouldn't drain after washing my hands. Im not sure when the last time the comforters were washed. I told my son not even sit on it. About 4am I woke up because I thought something crawled on me. After checking i didn't see anything and didn't want to wake my son in the other bed. About 430am he wokevup saying he felt something crawling on him. At that point I said get up lets go! I Checked out and drove back home 4 hrs away.

Location was good for a football weekend and it was surprisingly quite for sleeping. Staff was ok too. Way Over priced for the quality of hotel and as a last resort we made work. Our expectations were low but it. Was parent's weekend and a big football weekend and we booked late.

The first nite there was a drug bust in the parking lot.people smoking drugs outside the rooms.water spots on the Celling. Shower curtain had a big hole in it, no cups ice bucket.Way over priced.

Very disappointed, found cockroaches in the bathroom. There were holes in the lining. TV was not working, had to rearrange the connection to get it working.

The room was fine and clean. Shower was very small not a lot of hot water. Was surprised there was no coffee available. Our plastic cups were not replaced when the room was cleaned. Towels were very rough,

There was terrible service, they tried to charge me more than I had already paid online, the rooms were dirty, the bathroom on the second floor didn't work, and weird smell to it.

I checked in late so I was really looking forward to getting some sleep. Unfortunately I found blood on the sheets, no toilet paper in the restroom and sticky residue on the carpet.

In town for a college visit/tour with my son and since it was Homecoming weekend, the hotel rates were exorbitant. Budget Inn was extremely affordable, however the room smelled VERY dank and musty. Even on a limited budget I would not recommend anyone staying here.

The property was somewhat dirty. There were roaches. The service was terrible. There was rarely anyone in the office to attend to guests' needs. The cleaning service did not provide service and clean my room during the course of my 3 night visit. They also charged me twice for the total cost of my stay when they charged my card the first night and I had to talk with them multiple times before they looked into it. I would not advise anyone to stay here.

The rooms smelled like smoke. They were filthy. Bathroom shower was filthy with black stuff and floor was disgusting. We pulled the bedding off and covered the sheets to sleep. Very disappointing. We only booked this place because it was parents weekend at FSU and we were desperate didn't think it would be as bad as it was. Worst place we ever stayed in.

The property is very run down. There are wires everywhere in the room and it looks like a fire hazard. Housekeeping doesn’t even make the bed. They emptied the trash and gave us towels only. The staff is very friendly!!!!

I reserved online for $60.00. five minutes later I went back in to check my reservation and the price dropped to $55.00. when I arrived, I asked for the lower rate and he refused. I showed him my cell phone with the lower price and he still refused, do I paid the higher price. Then he gave me the Wi-Fi password which didn't work. But he was unable to explain to me the error so I went without it.

I didn´t even stay. The room was dirty, the sheets were dirty too. The door of the room barely closes. There were roaches. I payed with a credit card without looking at the room first. When I asked for a refund, the man at the desk didn´t knew how to make it or at least that´s what he told me. I will file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. Seriously, don´t go there!

Clerk was very nice and helpful. Room and beds were big. Smelt very musty and old. Curtains and sheets had holes in them. It was a one night stay and the price was what we were looking for...you get what you pay for.

The manager so rude roaches in the hotel. You have no privacy. He yelled because a girl brought me food and he assume she was staying but she was from Uber eats.

There was clear as day water damage in the bathroom with mold growth. Plus there was water leaking from the ceiling.

The hotel was simply disgusting, if i didnt have to be up in 5 hours i would of spent the money to sleep anywhere else. The corners had mold the towels were old and stained there was nonmatress protector. I ran a 10k and went back tonshower post rCe and actually felt dirtier after the shower then before.

Good hotel room---very basic. I was there for three nights and always left at 8am and was back by 9-10pm, so for my purposes it was fine: a crash pad. My only caveat is that while I stayed at a time when there was practically no one there, the hotel put one of the few other clients with a kid above me. As you can see from the photo there is ample space to separate guests which I think is important as hotels are not known for being soundproof. Otherwise, I have no complaints, the hotel room served my purpose and its location made it convenient for my friend to pick me up to go to FSU.

THERE WERE LIVE ROACHES IN THE ROOM AND BATHROOM. The sheets smelled like they had not been changed recently. I was in there 5min and had to leave because it was more than I was willing to live with. Front clerk said I would need to call following morning about a refund because he had no way to deal with it. I like paper/digital trail as opposed to a phone call so I left a chat request via Expedia but have not received a reply. Submitting this review in hopes that no one else needs to go through this and waste your money, and hopefully, be refunded my 2 advanced paid nights in this dump.

The location of the hotel is prefect. Within walking distance to the campus and the stadium. Hotel was about as expected. The hotel was outdated, but clean. The door to our room looked like it had been beaten in a few times. The towels in the room were rough and not of the best quality. Surprising the TV and the cable channel selection was top notch. The surrounding areas around the hotel are pretty loud and the last night there, the police were called and someone was tazered outside of our room.

This is probably one of the worst places to stay in Tallahassee! There was literally no other place to stay on the night I booked this motel. I should have saved my money because the room was absolutely horrifying!! I took a nap in my car and got back on the road. I wouldn't send a homeless person to sleep at this place!

At sixty years old and as a person that has traveled all over the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, this was the worst hotel I have ever been in. The first room was a smoking room that had an odor so strong that it was hard to breathe. They did move us to another room that was better. The "good" room was sort of clean but it felt dirty. Given the hurricane relief effort going on in the area, the next available room was over 100 miles away. My wife and I were each driving a car across the country and could got make another 100 miles, so we stayed. I didn't sleep well due to the constant noise in the parking lot.

Hotel room smelled of cigarettes. Bathroom was not very clean. Wife and I woke up both mornings very congested, which cleared up about 2 hrs after leaving the hotel room each day. Cheaper option to be close to the stadium, but still feels a bit pricey for the accommodations.
