I have stayed at this hotel before, which is why this visit was so disappointing. Due to train complications, I arrived a day later than expected, but I had already notified Expedia, and they assured me the hotel would be informed. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the front desk receptionist was immediately rude before even asking for my name.She stopped me at the door asking if I had a key card, and when I explained I was checking in, she responded by saying there were no rooms available for me without even checking the system first. The interaction quickly became embarrassing, especially in front of my parents. Things became even more uncomfortable when the same receptionist attempted to charge me for my service dog, despite service animals being legally protected. Thankfully, the daytime manager later apologized and handled the situation much more professionally, but the embarrassment from the initial interaction had already happened. Unfortunately, the poor customer service continued during the stay. Housekeeping staff were speaking negatively about me and my dog in Creole, assuming I could not understand. Later, when I politely asked for extra towels because my parents were staying with me, they refused and told me to call the front desk, even though they were standing nearby with towels. Iasked my father, who speaks Creole fluently, to politely ask them, and suddenly there was no issue providing it. The pool area was also disappointing and looked dingy compared to before.

We stayed in Hamptons many times, this one was not up to the standard of the others, pillows were not their signature Manchester Mills and bed sqeaks when tossing and turning.. also coffee pot in room couldn't sit flat on the counter because socket was to high. Got locked out of the room because battery on door was dead... staff however was pleasant.

Easy to get to, parking was easy. Check in was quick and seamless. It’s not that I didn’t like the property. Everything was pleasant. The room just never really got “cool” it was kinda muggy and a little warm! But would definitely stay there again.

Clean spacious well equipped room. Comfortable bed, good size kitchen facilities. At the price point , breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Little front desk treats were a nice touch. Only improvement were number of towels were less than number of guests. Location is straightforward and easy of getting to Sawgrass etc but if looking for somewhere in the hub of sunrise, this is a little off the hub.

We had stayed at three Hampton properties on our trip to Florida. My wife and I had agreed after the second one that we were not going to stay with this class of hotel in the future. We were very disappointed with the accommodation and the upkeep of the properties. This one is a keeper, it was extremely nice, well maintained and the staff was spot on. We’ll look forward to staying here anytime we go on a Cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami in the future.

Breakfast was good. All the regular options. No issues whatsoever. We arrived early and our room was ready. It was a nice bonus after travelling.

They’re in the middle of renovations which is good however in the room we were in the AC wasn’t working and it was 80° in the room. They attempted to fix it but we needed a cold room to prepare for an event. We did get moved rooms/ the vibes from the staff were ehhh. Check out the next day was a cluster and they tried charging us for our room again saying something about the booking being an issue. When I was able to prove we had already paid it was magically fixed and we were good to leave. Check in and check out process takes way too long. Room was relatively clean. Bathroom had other peoples hair on the floor and the tile portion of the floor by the desks were just sticky. Wouldn’t stay again for sure. Didn’t feel welcomed was just off.

The front desk staff is plrasant dont take long to check you in. The onlu issue I had is the ac thermostat the light stays brightly lit and I had a difficult time sleeping beacuae imif this when the time gets dark, I would say to get one that the light dims, turns off when not in use. A very pleasant experience I would come back here again.

Construction was underway and tools and wires and other tools left in middle of lobby floor. WiFi was very bad. Gym was closed upon arrival. Breakfast does not accommodate food allergy/ religious needs - same utensils for various foods = cross contamination. AC made very loud rumbling noise;maintenance had to come and removed over ; exposed wires. Room phone does not work so had to go all the way to lobby from room every time we needed something. Room iron did not work.

A bit of renovations are ongoing, so the elevators were a bit daunting. Very pleasant stay otherwise. Breakfast was very good.

Housekeeping never came for both nights that I came. I contacted the front desk via text and room phone and they said they’d send somebody both mornings / afternoons, and never did. Also the hotel was under construction and looked distraught. The breakfast eggs were disgusting, so was the coffee, and I’m not picky with food. The hotel also had a weird smell. Not worth $200/night. Should have been $100.

The hotel was renovating 2 floors below us, our floor had already been done, was very clean and modern. Always had fresh coffee and flavored water in the lobby area. Unfortunately their business room for using the computers was not available. We have stayed at this hotel several times before and have always been satisfied

Hair in the shower, stains on the carpet entering the room, stains on the chair in the room & a very strong not so pleasant odor by the elevators and down the hallways.

Happy Wednesday, hope all is well. My vacation was great. The only thing I would change is that there is no lunch and dining area, just in case you come in late or you just leave, like relaxing. That would be great. Have a great day.

There's some construction going on, which is a good thing. But thats the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I will say, the breakfast was great!!! We would absolutely stay again if we were in the area.

Considering that the Hotel is undergoing a complete makeover there were no issue except that we found our bed to be too soft. Hospitality and staff were great. Breakfast was very good. We will be staying there on our next visit to see our family.

I have a terrible experience because my daughter got sick and I called explaining the situation so they can have the courtesy to cancel de reservation and refund the money and they didn’t help me in that matter, instead someone call me to let me know that I will be charged the full amount.

Room was very clean. Place was very nice. Staff was very nice also. Breakfast was good too. Only thing was the fridge. Wasn't cold. Room temperature. The switch was turned on and it wasn't getting cold. Didn't mind to much cause was only ther for one night.

The bathroom barely has running water

The property was kept clean. Friendly staff. However, the rooms are not replenished with tissue paper etc. The bins were not always emptied. A little more care is needed for the rooms upkeep.

The hotel is very nice. The main problem I have is that the two computers in the so-called Business Center are about 25 years old and have been locked on the same screen for over a month. You cannot print or use the computers at all. Also, the gym equipment can use an update. It's functional, but very old.

Staff was helpful and friendly. We didn’t realize they were remodeling. The room had a mustiness smell to it. Other than that the room was ok.

We stayed here for a hockey game at the Amerant Arena so this hotel was great choice. From the hotel, it’s a short drive to both the arena and the Sawgrass mall across the street. The room and amenities were very clean and the breakfast is also very good with a fair number of options. We would definitely stay here again. Andy and Susan

I love Hiltons yet they seem to neglect this one as part of the family. Needs a complete overhaul. Couldn’t stay the second night. Room was odorous, carpet old and dirty, towels old. The blow dryer was so old it was gluey.

My Dad and I went to see Jeff Dunham at the Arena. We stayed at the Hampton because of its location. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was really clean. Breakfast was very good with a lot of selections. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The room size was good for sleeping 2 adults & a child - still had some walking around room & seating.

I booked a double queen room for me and my husband for a birthday weekend trip. I received a phone call the day before the visit and was offered a "complimentary upgrade to a suite". The room was quite disappointing. The carpet was threadbare and sticky with some unknown substance in 2 spots. The bathroom didn't have a fan and the main area didn't have any lighting so you couldn't sit on the sofa to read. I think it was a "suite" because it had a small sink by the fridge and microwave. The hotel seemed very busy and so I assume this is why we were moved into the King room vs the double queen. The rest of the hotel was nice and clean, check in was easy and breakfast was great. Overall disappointed with the room but the rest of the amenities were great.

The property seemed really dated and run down. Weird smell in the hallway and the room. No charging ports and one light made it quite dark.

Overall property was fine. There was an altercation on my floor that lasted almost an hour late night

This is the second time I've stayed at this property. I liked it enough the first time, I stayed again. Both times the rooms felt very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and the hotel smells ridiculously nice when you walk in the lobby! The hotel's carpets need some updating here and there but that's the byproduct of time and that's not why I gave it four stars. It gets four stars because my room had that body-odor-like smell that happens when water stands in a carpet for too long. My first room didn't smell like that, so I'm guessing this was just a one-off, but it wasn't pleasant.

I liked that they had Santa there for the kids.

The staff could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, often going above and beyond for us. We loved the extra touches like the Christmas display in the lobby and free tea and coffee available 24 hours. It made us feel very at home. Thanks for a great stay!

King suite was a big room. Comfortable king bed and comfortable pull out couch bed. Breakfast was substantial. Safe and short distance to fields, shopping and food.

This hotel under the Hampton/Hilton brand name is a total disappointment. It only worth a low 3* rating. The room is showing its age and bathroom is not clean everyday.

Dirty room, rude staff upon check in and check out. Charged different amounts compared to booked receipt.

On the down side, the dresser in our room was totally unusable because the drawers were all broken and off their guides. Who ever tried to fix it should revisit wood working skills class.

It is a good enough small hotel for short stays. The only issue I had was the AC in the room kept chipping in and out about every 30 minutes producing some noise and making the temperaure in the room hot in between
