    We were in town for the Chris Stapleton concert at Raymond James. We checked in early but the front desk clerk was new and with no one in line we waited, which wasn't a problem because he was new and we were half an hour early. Got to our room and found a hairball on the floor so I got tissue to pick it up, went to flush it and there were cigarette ashes in toilet. Notified front desk who sent someone up to spray room spray and take pictures. Called half an hour later to ask if we wanted to switch rooms...we were already "unpacked" so declined. Went to sit in office chair and found a toothpick sticking up from seat, couldn't hear on phone receiver, drawers didn't stay shut and when we went to wash our hands, there was an already opened hand soap bar laying under the sealed bar of soap. Didn't call front desk because we were on our way out. We were only staying 1 night so didn't use any of the amenities. Went down this morning for "breakfast" and had to pass. All in all, it was a bit of a let down. Next time we're in the area, we will explore other options.

    This place was disgustingly, filthy and smelled of mildew. There was mold inside of the air-conditioning unit that was blowing directly onto us. Do not book as soon as we checked in we looked around, surveyed everything and decided to leave and book someplace else.

    While the room was clean overall, the floor of the bathroom had quite a bit of hair on it that wasn't ours. Might have just missed this one when sweeping. We appreciated the extra space in our room. Even with it being a king sized bed, there was still lots of space.

    When we first got there, the staff had given us some keys to our room, but the room was not cleaned out so she had to switch to another room and when we got there, the TV didn’t work cause the battery were low so she switched the batteries out. The pool was dirty but the breakfast was good though.

    Pleasant staff. Clean and tidy everywhere. Location - very difficult to get in and out of with such a busy road outside and no easy access. Most times we had to drive past, turn around some way up the street and then approach from the same side of the road. No dropped kerbs anywhere to make luggage movement easier. Tiny bathroom let the room down. Apart from that it was fine.

    Everything was fine The property was remodeled and upgraded since my last visit nice new bathroom nice new beds one glaring omission is there in not a safe in the room. The front desk person in the morning was outstanding. She got me access to my reward points by searching my info on the hotel computer. The people at the reward were totally useless in fact one hung up on me. Because she couldn’t verify me. I have been a Teeards member for maybe 20 years or more. The information to verified such as an email address that I haven’t used in 20 years and I couldn’t remember what it was along with an old old old cell phone number that I couldn’t begin to remember made it impossible to verify me even though I gave them my reward membership number. The solution of the reward woman was to just hang up on me. That’s when I went to the front desk and the woman researched old stays and found my old email and old phone number she went anove and beyond in contrast to the mast useless woman in the customer service at the rewards program. She could deal with the verification pfobl and she alone is enough. Reason to going to anther hotel reward program.

    Jennifer greeting me with a smile and was very courteous. When I got to my room, I noticed there was no microwave. She mentioned that BW no longer has them because they were removed during the COVID 19 epidemic and BW decided not to replace them for the future. All your ads display them though. Jennifer was kind enough to find one in storage and delivered one to my room. That was so thoughtful of her but the microwave did not work. No worries, I managed without it with cold cuts. Not having a microwave is an issue. Travelers and business persons attempting to budget their eating out expenses would definitely appreciate BW not being the only affordable chain not having a microwave.

    I highly recommend this hotel. Stayed there 8 nights. Friendly and helpful staff, complimentary full hot and cold bkft, clean spacious rooms with ample towels, well kept pool area with sparkling clean water. Round the clock coffee, tea, and water. Excellent location only 12 min from the Tampa Intl Airport and major roads.

    Considering it is an older property. The lobby area was clean and had a modern appearance in comparison to the room which could use some upgrades. USB outlets, new shades on the window and perhaps some bathroom renovation. The staff was friendly and professional and the breakfast was satisfactory.

    The room was clean, the bed was fine too. The issues we were not pleased about was the funky odor in the room. Shower only dribbled when you tried to get cooler water than very hot and made a terrible noise. The shower curtain was too short and the water ran over the ledge onto the mat and on out of the bathroom. Quiet is not something we experienced. Everyone and their brother seemed to walk past our door with very loud voices late at night, and if I heard the ice machine right outside my door once at night all hours I heard it two dozen times. I felt like it was a $50 room that they charge $200 for. Unfortunately we will not stay again. It is very rare for me to post a negative review but I honestly had to due to what we were charged. If it were $50 I would not be making negative comments because I would have gotten what I paid for.

    This place is very old and unkept. It smelled like humidity/mold as soon as we walked in. The only reason we decided to stay for the night was that it was almost 10:30 pm when we arrived, and we were headed to a cruise the next morning. I guess you get what you pay for, but I honestly did not expect something this bad.

    The room was very nice-clean and spacious. The bed was VERY comfortable. The gal behind the desk was friendly and helpful. The pool water was ICE COLD-I was unable to use it. Also; the outdoor light for the pool area was burned out...only had time to swim, after dark. For a 24 hour pool access, that's unacceptable.

    I booked a two-night stay through Hotels.com using the “pay at the property” option and chose this hotel specifically for its “check-in anytime” policy due to possible flight delays. When I arrived at 11:20 p.m., my reservation had been canceled by the manager. He said the credit card was invalid, which is not possible, as Hotels.com does not accept invalid cards. It seems they ignored the check-in policy. To make matters worse, he sounded annoyed, as if the situation were my fault. I have been a Hotels.com Platinum member for over 15 years and have never experienced such poor service. I do not recommend this hotel.

    I was changed from a room that I had trouble accessing the restroom due to a VERY narrow doorway. So luckily I was able to obtain a handicapped room downstairs and that was much better. The heater did not work well in the previous room #214, nor did the sink and shower drain. The beds were comfortable and I loved the multiple, squishy pillows. The scrambled eggs did not taste like eggs, as they were mixed with something (perhaps water?) in order to stretch them further and save money. The bacon was of the absolute thinnest cut; again, probably to save money. So we ended up eating breakfast next door at IHOP - which was very convenient. All the Best Western we've stayed at have adequate eggs and that is why we even book Best Western - for the adequate breakfast. Please correct the scrambled egg problem at least, as that will keep us from coming back there. We noticed a Quality Inn down the road, so the next time we will try that one out. Better on the scrambled eggs - cut with too much water!

    We had two rooms reserved. The smelled like smoke! The guest service rep did not apologize for the inconvenience. She simply said "the key is no lobger going to work, you got your stuff out". The new room shower did not work at all and maintenance took well over an hour to come check it, forcing all of us to use the one shower in our other reserved room.

    Expedia ruined our booking from another hotel so we had to transfer to Best Western Tampa at 1 am in the morning. Sheila from the front desk was absolutely phenomenal, she did everything to accommodate us, went out of her way to gave us food coz she learned that we haven’t had our supper yet and we travelled all the way from Canada and was tired already. She was compassionate, very helpful and kind! Thank you so much Sheila for all the help!!!!

    I had to switch rooms twice due to mold and poor air quality, which is concerning for anyone, but especially as I’m pregnant. My coworker and I both developed coughs after a couple of nights here. The breakfast area is right beside an active construction zone and didn’t feel food-safe. The gym and pool are closed. The photos online must be outdated or edited, because the real condition of this hotel is shocking. Guests should have been warned so we could cancel in advance. In its current state, this hotel should not be open to the public. The property only refunded one of our rooms, and refused to refund the second room.

    The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. I was given a room that had some sort of a chemical smell, tape still on the smoke detector from where they had painted, and there was no hair dryer. It was a good value and I only there to sleep for a bit so was okay.

    Great location for our football trip. Comfortable beds. Otherwise, room carpeting very dirty and unit not so clean. Flooring in halls and elevator in disrepair. AC unit over heated and smoked up room and set off alarms. Called the front desk for service. Noone arrived.

    This hotel was disgusting! My daughter and I walked into the room, and the breakfast from the previous person was sitting on the cabinet under the TV. The carpet was so run-down that parts of it were nonexistent. Also, the soap in the shower was still there from the prior guests. I paid for two nights but had to leave; there was no way I was going to stay another night.

    I extremely happy with this hotel but the only problem was the traffic, the hotel was located opposite side of the road and it’s kinda hard to make a turn when you came from airport road. Otherwise everything was great.

    It was dirty. I had roaches in my room and the AC would not get cold enough. Luckily I was exhausted from my travel or I would’ve left that place immediately. Staff barely spoke English and were rude to a point. I stayed friendly and happy go lucky the whole time but the roaches in the room creeped me out. I barely slept because I was worried about one crawling on me. Also, there was a leftover joint in the bathroom when I came into my room. Glad someone had a good time at least.

    I booked this hotel thinking it would be a very pleasant stay. I've stayed at other Best Westerns at other locations and thought they would all be run with the same standards. Was I surprised! The first thing I want to say is that some of the photos must be from another Best Western. Because this location was very outdated. The first thing we noticed was that the room had a smell. It wasn't the worst thing so we just ignored it. Then we saw that there was just a big empty space where the microwave should've been. So, I got on the phone to call front desk. The phone was dead! So, I had to go downstairs and tell them in person that my room was missing a microwave and would like to be switched to a room that had one. The woman who was on her phone and never even stood up to address me told me, "None of the rooms have microwaves." I said, "That's not what's advertised. There are microwaves in the online photos. Where do I heat up food?" She told me there was a microwave down the hall that everybody can use. By the way, that microwave plate doesn't fit properly and it was so incovenient to have to keep trying to fix it into place and then carry food up and down to my room. Next, the refridgerator was a mess! None of the shelves fit and it was loud. The sink in the bathroom kept filling up everytime you ran the water. The bed pillows need replacing, as well as the carpet. This Best Western needs alot of help. I don't know why the pricing isn't less for what you're getting.

    The hotel lobby had a strong smell of cleaning chemical detergents. The lobby staff never answers their phone whether we're calling from outside or from our room. They served something that resembled scrambled eggs but they were not scrambled eggs. They did not replenish the protein even though there was still one hour left before the end of breakfast time. It is a poorly managed hotel. The only good thing is the lady who checked us in is cordial but she doesn't know why we were placed in a handicap-accessible room even though we told her none of us was handicapped. The hotel was not full but she couldn't move us to another room either.

    The hotel is located in a convenient location within walking distance to Trader Joe's and driving distance to TJ Maxx and other places to eat. Room and facilities are clean and they offer daily housekeeping. There is a breakfast area with complimentary breakfast items. WE ate the fruit. The other items are very basic (toast, waffles etc) Appreciate the fridge and the free parking. At the time that we booked, the price was quite expensive, comparable to a 3 to 4 star hotel (BW is more like an inn). It is ok for a lower price, but not for the price that we paid.

    The staff was unprofessional from beginning to end. They kicked us out for asking them to either change our room or make sure our room on the 1st floor was secure and to fix the window so people from the outside couldn't open it. They put a piece of wood in it for the night then told us to contact the manager in the morning and when we did she became irritated and kicked us out. Lied to law enforcement (that I called to avoid confrontation with them) and told them if we leave they would give us a full refund. After our google review they commented they will not be giving a refund and because of this I will be seeing them in court. DO NOT STAY HERE

    The pool was closed the entire time we stayed at the hotel. The rugs in the room were filthy including where the rug met the baseboards and walls dirt and food stuck all over the rug, the shower leaked all over the floor, overall awful building needs to be torn down and start over

    Below average at best. the hotel is old and needs a lot of work, very dirty hallways, smelly and old. Even the ice machine was disgustingly dirty. Room was quiet and kinda clean but for $200 it wasnt even close to worth it. For the condition of this hotel it shouldnt be more than maybe $69 a night, not $200..I would not stay there again. The help at the hotel was great, at least there was that.

    beds were nice, bathroom was nice, but the water pressure / shower head sucked like they usually do at most hotels, the free breakfast was okay, the check in and check out process was the easiest I have ever been through in my life at any hotel, no extra forms to sign or charge of a credit card for incidentals which will be refunded like at other hotels, price was kind of expensive for one night, also there should be a microwave in the room for the price, not just a refrigerator, great location, easy to get in and out of the parking lot, free Wi-Fi, given password upon checkin

    While this hotel does get the job done is is a 2 star hotel AT BEST. The walls are paper thin, you hear everything. The rooms are outdated and very filthy/stained. My room had old stickers on the walls, rust stains in the shower, and it seems a lot of people live here full time. No cockroaches but did find a small lizard in the room!!

    Room issues broken tv broken hair dryer. Ladies helpful and nice. Man at front desk doesn’t seem to like his job…zero customer care no greetings ever even during New Years. I observed the phone ringing at least 50 times while getting coffee. He was standing in hall chatting with female co-worker. Answered phone annoyed saying they were very busy. No way to run a hotel! Be nice to people greet them and smile and maybe they’ll want to come back again…

    It was a quick and convenient place for us to stay with an early flight. Upon entering our room, there was a plug in fan that was on the ground, on, and pointed at the entry door. The entry door looked like there was a leak running down the trim and it was stained and a little moldy looking.
