I did not stay. My room was not fully ready, my toilet did not work, the staff was unable to make room keys and had to let me in. They did not have another room available. The staff did not have answers or directions. I was left to fend for myself. Expedia was not available for an actual conversation. The online chat and phone numbers could not help. I left the hotel and went to a sister hotel. My bank is currently disputing the charges because I had to pay in pull at the new hotel.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was excellent. The room was also very nice. The only problem I had is that the water did not get real hot in the shower. Would definitely stay there again.

The one drawback: Even though the hotel provided disposable foam earbuds on the nightstand, the nearly continuous heavy construction work on a large building across the street all night made sleep difficult. I would enjoy returning a few months in the future.

We stayed at Home2 Suites across from USF for one night while helping our kid move into the dorms, and somehow they managed to make one of the most stressful weekends of the in year feel like a mini vacation. The lady at check-in deserves a raise, a trophy, and possibly her own parking space. She was incredibly friendly and explained every amenity with the enthusiasm of someone introducing us to a luxury resort instead of a hotel. Before we knew it, we were checked in, smiling, and already feeling better about tuition bills. The lobby was spotless and welcoming, and they even gave us complimentary water and chips at arrival. At that point I started wondering if I had accidentally booked a five-star resort. The room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were perfect, and the sofa bed had its own slide-out privacy curtain. Whoever designed that deserves recognition because they clearly understand family travel and the need to occasionally hide from each other. My favorite detail? They left earplugs next to the bed. That’s confidence right there. They’re basically saying, “You won’t need these, but we’re prepared for everything.” That’s the kind of planning I respect. To top it all off, they gave us a 1:00 PM checkout. After carrying boxes, assembling furniture, and pretending I knew how to put together dorm room storage, that extra time felt like winning the lottery. Overall, this place knows exactly what it’s d

Availability to have our 4-legged family with us. The staff was very friendly. There was only one staff member with whom we had a slight problem. She gave us a problem with reprogramming our key card the morning prior to our leaving. Her attitude was totally uncalled for and not appropriate for someone in a management hospitality position.

Great vacation, quiet hotel.

Front desk staff needs to do better. They never smile to people during check in time. I dont know about other staff but the black girl and the white skinny girl really needs to practice smiling and be professional. Overall, our stay was okay, housekeepers needs to clean the shower too, we found hairs on the bathroom floor right when we check in to our room.

The kitchen in the room was very useful and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Walking distance from Bush Gardens!! Breakfast was good. :)

The hotel itself is extremely clean and well maintained. Felt safe and secure the entire time. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful when present. However, they were not always at their station. The cleaning staff was so sweet and helpful. Went to have breakfast at 0758 and it was nearly picked clean with no one in sight to restock. Several people were waiting. I would definitely stay here again!

The marijuana and cigarettes were not a clean site around the fence ! Butts everywhere- looked messy and disgusting. The staff was very helpful and polite- they are appreciated!

When we arrived with three adults to our room, we noticed only 2 full size bath towels were in the room. We dropped our luggage and went to grab a bite to eat. While we were eating, I received a nice text message from front desk asking about our room checkin and I replied that we needed an extra towel. When we returned to hotel after eating, the staff had already added towels to our room. Excellent job and everyone we encountered while staying there was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended location when visiting USF.

The property was nice and close to Moffit Cancer Center, USF, and Busch Gardens. The rooms need a face lift. The first room we went to was musty smelling. The second room was better but you could see the carpet needs replace, the wallpaper was starting to come off the wall. The bed was too soft for us. We only stayed one night and it was close to everything but we wouldn’t want to stay more than that and won’t use it again.

Staff was pleasant but Room 225 was dirty, the pull out couch looked like it was taking out of a dumpster. A little steam cleaning would do it well. Ended up checking out 24 hrs later. Not happy

Excellent location for visiting Busch Gardens, but the stay has drawbacks. Rooms are serviced only every other day, noise insulation is poor (street noise, upstairs footsteps, and door slamming are clearly audible), and the included breakfast is very low quality.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff, when we entered, was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and spacious, and most of all, the bed was comfortable. The room had a full size refrigerator, microwave, dishes, and dishwasher. There was ample counter space to place luggage and other items. We will definitely be back.

It was a nice hotel, I would stay here again.

I checked in early. Only room available had window shade that would not rise as the gears were stripped, the water stuttered out of the bathroom faucet, the water hot/cold control wax reversed, and the rug felt wet from the humidity. The front desk graciously changed our room the next day. Thank goodness the new room was right over the 4AM garbage pickup as I really enjoy waking to very loud banging. The $10/d parking charges are also not obvious at reservation. I am glad I did not have an car. Otherwise, the room had very spacious accommodations. Breakfast was a nice bonus. The staff was very nice.

The only reason for me not to give all five stars is the breakfast juice selection. I didn't see any apple, grape, cranberry juices available, only citrus juices were available.

We had two rooms here for one night when we were visiting Busch Gardens. The rooms were huge, the pool was fun, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again when going to the park!

Unfortunately even with ear plug you provide, the outside noise, traffic was so loud. It didn’t quite down until midnight and started back up on ir around sunrise.

During afternoon it was pretty noisy. Not sure if it was housekeepers vacuuming and banging sounds

The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was not the most comfortable and the pillows weren’t great. The mattresses need to be upgraded and pillows that are full and not so soft should be provided. It’s a great hotel, less than 3 mins from Busch Gardens and looks brand-new but the quality of the bed and pillows aren’t great unfortunately.

Great place for a family. Not luxurious but had everything we needed and was clean. Breakfast was not a big hit with my kids... the quality wasn't there but for the price I am not complaining.

The staff was great, especially the night time attendant! The room was nice and big. The sheets on one of the beds smelled really bad like soured laundry. On my way out for the day, I went by the front desk and asked for the sheets to be changed on the bed closest to the window. When I got back to the room, the sheets had been changed on the other bed but not the one that needed changing. I went back to the front desk and the got clean sheets from the attendant. She offered to help me change them which was very nice but I told her I could take care of it. The kitchenette counters had not been cleaned when we first checked in either. There were fresh coffee rings left there so I wiped them down myself. Housekeeping also took all of the toilet paper out of the bathroom on our second day there. We were staying for 4 nights so we had to get more from the front desk. There was a lot of loud traffic noise from the road each night. Sounded like cars were drag racing some nights. We appreciated the ear plugs the hotel provided. Breakfast was completely wiped out the morning we checked out. We did get there later than planned, at 9:45, but breakfast was supposed to be served through 10:00. There was literally one bagel left out of all the food so we went elsewhere for breakfast which was disappointing since breakfast was supposed to come with the price of the room. Overall, we had a decent stay.

Just ok...wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. Kind of smelled bad, water stains all over ceiling. Needs a remodel.

The hotel and front desk young lady was good for the most part. However, I selected this hotel for the ev charging. Which would have been great to charge while resting but neither worked. No one knew what the issue was. Front desk contacted the manager who also did not have knowledge of how or why it wasn’t working. Had to travel over 20 mins to find a station which was an inconvenient. No solution or accommodations were made.

I choose the property because of the rating and even though the room was clean, it needs updating.. the matress was hard to sleep and the A/C wasn’t working properly. Temperature was cold outside so it wasn’t a big deal for one night but don’t recommend during summer time.

Great hotel for my quick stay for a concert at the Yuengling Center. It is off a busy street so I can be a little noisy but ear plugs are provided in the room if this may be an issue, otherwise it was great

This is a beautiful property and very convenient to Moffitt cancer center. The walls are rather thin but as a whole it was a very comfortable room. The breakfast is delicious, fresh and hot.

I stayed here because of the reviews on Hotels.com. I am extremely disappointed in this experience. Only one elevator worked. With how busy the hotel was you ended up standing there for a very long period of time trying to get up the elevator. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. If you are a light sleeper since this hotel is right next to the road, you can hear the noise of the traffic all night long. On my last day upon check out I found there was an extra parking fee attached to my bill, which was not told to me when I checked in. And also, there was no breakfast. Apparently the person did not show up which turned out to be our problem . So no breakfast and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude.

Unbelievably rude staff! The GM is an embarrassment to the Hilton chain. The hotel is filthy and full of squatters. Couldn’t be a worse place to stay.

This hotel was not worth the cost. The “breakfast” was limited and not as advertised, parking is an additional cost, and the shower had very little pressure. For $300 a night, I expected much better.
