    Absolutely nothing except for the fact the place was empty of other guests practically a ghost town in a big city. This created privacy, but nothing about this hotel or experience was even average. It will not stay again! Severe Privacy Breach: Management pulled my unlisted, personal cell phone number from my reservation profile and leaked it to an outside third party without my consent.Security & Key Failures: At check-in, the General Manager completely bypassed protocol by refusing to issue me—the primary paying guest—a room key, giving a key only to my guest. They also failed to check mandatory state photo IDs at check-in.Harassment During an Emergency: When my vehicle suffered a technical failure and blocked the entrance, the GM repeatedly called my private number to threaten towing, completely ignoring the active traffic safety hazard I was trying to resolve.Extreme Manager Bias: The General Manager abandoned all professional neutrality, fabricated a "room disruption" to threaten me with eviction, and refused to provide a standard printed checkout receipt upon departure. The room was also filthy! And had black mold in shower / bathroom.

    The air conditioner sounded like a freight train which is why they had it off until we walked in. My pillow had no pillow case and when asked for one they gave us a sheet and said wrap it around it because they couldn't get one. The place had plenty of empty rooms. The brown cover was directly.on the bottom sheet leaving hair and dirt. We slept for about maybe 2 hrs if thay. I just couldn't lay long on the bed it was so disgusting. Water picket in shower did not turn off so constant running bath water. Stains.. it was one of the worst places ive stayed and im rrqlly easy goong when it comes to rooms but this ppace is nasty CleanYpir Rooms and change the air conditioning systems thats not so broken it sounds like a freight train. Clean up the grounds, trach your employees where extra supplies are. Do a deep clean on All rooms. Change the carpet/tile. Im can this lost could go forver but with proper management it would be beautiful. The outside grounds have such potential

    Filthy. The 1st room had water damage and mold and dead bugs on the floor. They moved us to room 2 with roaches climbing on walls, blood door, walls and mirror that were dried. And a swastika was drawn on our door that wasn’t there when we entered.

    Those people at the front desk are completely racist to the point where they towed my car because they 'thought' it was abandoned - completely out of line. I'm a white male and the Latinos don't like it.     Loved the location, and the staff were friendly. 5 min from USF where my daughter graduated. Gave me a dirty room, ac AC didn't work, bugs inside the room because the window was open. Thankfully, it wasn't packed, so they moved us to another room. Rooms are run down really really bad.

    The 2 ladies at the front desk were absolutely amazing. I done remember their names. They never hesitated when asked about anything. The only thing was the pool had to be worked on and out of the hotels control, but the city had a water line break, and the water had to be shut off. But we were checking out anyway.

I didn't like that the room above me sounded like they was fighting and doing WWE in the room for HOURS on HOURS, We finally decided to let the office know and the guy acted like he didn't want to go up there and see what was going on, the noise continued ofcourse finally was able to fall asleep around 1am.

    Dont go to this hotel the dint hold your booking room then you get forced to stay in a room choice of there’s they over booked it’s not there fault Exspedia they said due to a BTS concert but I payed for the rooms so they have me in 2 dirty broken rooms rooms in place of mine that t I can cancel my room and sleep in my car since there’s no iron hotels in Tampa I. The ghetto park of Tampa so one room with no air dirty and other with a motor making loud noise th solution was give. Me a box fan and tie it off maintenance isn’t Available when needed rooms staining mattress and dirty rooms disgusting bathrooms you can’t shower mess the pool is green dirty water and was told I would get a discount for inconvenience but nothing ever happened worst experience ever .

    Hotel was dirty. Floors were so dirty that not even a wet Swiffer help. First room that they gave us, the toilet was dirty and the bathtub was worse! The whole room smelled terrible. The second room was better, but not great. Curtains were stained.Mold in the bathroom. The Hotel has pontetial, with a better cleaning staff and a good landscaping service. Front Staff was friendly.

    Last night when we arrived back to put room it was very late around 1 AM and when we turned on the lights, there were roaches that scattered underneath the furniture, I had a cheer competition early so I wasn’t able to notify the front desk and we ended up having to sleep in my car because it also smelled like cigarettes and was very unsanitary.

    The pool was dirty, walking to our room caution tape was out side of some of the rooms, the smell of pot was overwhelming . Open our room it had a funny smell in it. The bathroom needs major upgrades from the drainage, to shower curtain that was stained. Sheets had blue spots on them. Sliding doors were never cleaned. And would not open. Little bugs flying everywhere. Gunk around the baseboards and looks like the walls need a good cleaning. Beds were hard. Never again.

    This place is beyond filthy. The faux wood floor is actually sticky. I sat on my bed, took my socks off, walked to the bathroom and back and my feet were so disgustingly black it was gross. I got a wet washcloth and cleaned them off and the washcloth was actually brown with filth. There were drip marks all down the walls, dust all over everything, the bathtub had mold, the whole entire room was gross. And to top it off, there was no hot water at all in the shower. A call to the front desk and the girl said “yeah our boiler is out and we don’t know when it’s going to be fixed”. We checked out and left.

    The nice woman that checked us in was amazing, however our room had the ends of two joints that had been smoked (obviously in the room by the smell) sitting on the base of the lamp on the desk. NOW.. question is how do you clean a room and not see them? No hot water to shower with first thing in the morning, the floor in the area by the frig and coffee maker had a large stain of what appeared to be wing sauce on the floor. The floors themselves were sticky and just nasty. We stayed here for one night due to a visit at a near by hospital what was required. I can assure you that won't ever happen again ! Avoid this hotel.

    Property was under renovation. The room looked nice and had nice beds. The bathroom tub had not yet been refinished and the ac vents were still black. Staff was incredibly helpful and took care of me. They have a restaurant on site that is being remodeled. It was the best budget hotel I’ve stayed in.

    You should remove this hotel from your list. Terrible lodging. Arrived at 2:20 and was told there was a $35 early check-in fee. Also a $50 cash advance, $55 if using a credit card. Got to the room and the bed had 2 mini pillows. We were told that the TVS were not working. Bugs are everywhere. Suppose to be a very cold night so we tried to get the HVAC to heat but it didn't work. Called the front desk and was told there was no one to help and offered blankets.

    When I first entered the room, it was clear there had been a history of indoor smoking. Several furnishings had rust throughout the stay. Hair dryer was falling apart. The very limited amount of towels included several with large rust stains. The shower fixtures were corroded, and temperature never made it past Luke warm. Poor water pressure. Also, very poor choice of front desk amenities, with prices rivaling movie theatre concessions and theme parks only. No personnel were available after 6.

    I arrived early they had dumpsters next to the building and it looked terrible with old furniture and beds . I was in the worst part of town. They wanted $70 early check in and I was there with my daughter for my son’s graduation. In addition I chose not to stay and they still charged my credit card for a hundred dollars. It was awful!!! I assumed because it was on hotels.com it would be decent or redone I am not sure what I thought. I think was definitely not a place to bring my family. I pray in Jesus name for them thy will not mine be done 🙏

    I hate to be the negative person but we checked out hr after we checked in I don’t know if we got the bad end of the deal but it wasn’t clean the bathtub was falling apart and sliding glass doors didn’t lock either. We went to the Wawa next door and come back to stuff being messed with already I hate to say this but go up the road a mile and the hotels are way better quality and cleanliness

    The facility was under renovation, so there were old funitere over the parking and workers moving up and down. The pool water was slimy/green. We talk to staff to fix the bathroom shower. But it never got fixed.

    The room was extremely cold which was good. My son refused to shower which had junk embedded on one side. second tv control did not work. Lights in bedroom did not work. Pubic hair was in bed and son refused to sleep in bed. A king size bed was requested at a lower price which was changed for two queen beds.

    I am not the only guest that noticed that it is way too loud to be located directly under other guests, especially large sounding guess with kids? All night long every night, like a stampede up there with no regard for time of night/morning. I will definitely stay again, but be sure that I am not under another occupied room.

    Bed was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner short cycled on/off every 3 minutes. Shower and bathroom sink had no hot water meaning taking a cold shower at 7am. The bar next door to hotel (30 North) has beyond excellent, big, juicy wings.

    When I got there I tried to go to the pool, it was very dirty. I then decide to go relax in the room. My initial room was disgusting and when I went to the bathroom there were fleas on the sink. We got switched to an upgraded room that was actually clean. But still for the price I paid it was ridiculous. I wish I didn’t waste my money staying here.

    The room was so bad with mold that you could feel dust coming thru your mouth and nose when breathing, me an my son couldn’t even sleep, they don’t have an live overnight agent so no one could help us to switch rooms, we had no choice but to sleep in the car that night! I check out the next morning , I got charge the full amount for the two nights, I been unable to reach out the hotel manager he is never there, I reach out the customer service for this hotel and they wanted to give me points to stay at their hotels again but I don’t want that, Expedia has been unable to help either, I suppose to get a response and I haven’t hear from anyone. My son had an allergy reaction for that night I had to take him to the doctor. Don’t stay here and don’t book thru Expedia

    When I tell you never again. Do not waste your money. Started by calling to inquire about early check in and the guy working at the front desk hung up on me 2X telling me he had a line. When I checked in he charged me $35 but charged me 40. We got to our room and it was fithy. Floor was dirty. Tables were dirty. Lights rusted. Tub rusted. Remotes had no back. Tub dripping. Sheets were even dingy. We left and came back late sleeping on top of the flat sheet so we waited for turn down service which never came. I called and asked for new sheet and to my surprise the girl at the front desk told me I had to request it in the morning. I told her no one told me and my sheets are dirty. She said well who did you tell. I told her I'm telling you. She said all the people are gone but after going back and forth she said she would send someone. To add to that we had neighbors fighting at 1am I'm which I called the main line and no one picked up, people blasting music, the hallway smelled like pee and random people walking around the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel especially considering that I paid nearly $600 for 3 nights. It's no where close to being worth it and the staff is rude and Nasty. It was by far my worst experience. Red Roof will say they will fix it but they won't. Those same people will still be there being nasty and rude to people next year and the year after. So much more i could add but Don't do it to your self. Spend the few extra and head to The Holiday INN

    Our room was dirty, grimy, disgusting. Stains on sheets, dirt on floor, mildew on windows, smelled awful, furniture scratched, etc.--a roach motel!! But the worst part was when our shower head broke and the front desk refused to help us get another room or reimburse us for the expense.

    The dark brown tile floors were visibly dirty and my white socks were filthy after walking around without shoes. The bath/shower tub drain was extremely slow draining and would fill the tub up to my ankles during the time it takes to shower off and I'm quick. Not to mention one time there was zero hot water available to the shower. The rest of the time shower water was at max, just warm. The window curtains were in shambles and missing some hangers making it impossible to close them all the way without pushing a chair or other object against them to hold them closed. The couch had several stains on it. As for furnishings, overall the room was minimally and sparsely outfitted. I will pass on this hotel in the future and do not recommend it.

    The hotel room I was given was filthy. The towels and coverlet was either dirty or the laundry didn’t wash well. I complained and asked for a refund but was refused so they only offered to move me. The second room also had some dirty towels but they changed them out. The room walls and grout was needing some serious cleaning. The light fixture was not hanging straight and the hair dryer had some kind of pink paint on it. The maintenance of the building is poor, poor, poor. It was quiet at night but I don’t know how many people were actually staying there. The front desk guy said they were doing remodeling but clearly not to the rooms I saw. I left out in the am as soon as I could and will never stay again.

    Nothing unique. The first thing I noticed in the room was a large ball of hair on the couch in the sitting room. The tv in the bedroom didn't work. Ice cream was in the freezer that melted everywhere. During the night the hurricane came through and the bedroon floor was flooded. The rain was coming in at the molding because the stucco was cracked on the outside. We didn't even stay for the second night. It was a nightmare getting home right after the hurricane but no way were we staying.

    I was charged for a room WE DID NOT USE bc the hotel was short staffed and completely out of electricity. I feel like I’ve been robbed of my money and after over a dozen phone calls, I still have not received a refund. This whole thing is a scam and I will be opening a civil suit over it. Shame on Expedia and red roof for taking advantage of hurricane victims.

    Looking for refuge from Hurricane Milton. Made online reservation with Expedia A.M. 10/11 and paid non-refundable reservation. Arrived at hotel P.M.10/11 to find NO POWER and NO WATER. Clerk said she could not check me in. Expedia said this hotel had amenities such as power and Wi-Fi and water. Refund refused by Expedia. Said they informed me of no power at time of booking but my itinerary does not mention any such thing. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Terrible smell that is so suffocating. We called them and they said there were no room available- Perhaps, because there are no better rooms?. We went and slept in our car after a few hours inside and left early in the morning. The smell got into our cloth and we still could smell it after getting home a day later.

    I got stuck out of state and couldn’t make it home due to Hurricane Helene. All i asked was for a simple request to change the date a whole TWO MONTHS from now. Ive worked in hotels for over 10 years and I have never had all this trouble for a simple room change request; for things out of someones control ESPECIALLY a natural disaster, I always made an exception bc a date change is simple…ESPECIALLY MONTHS OUT. There was A LOT OF DAMAGE & ISSUES caused by this hurricane, and no one seems to care. I have been stuck out of state and havent been able to get in touch with my family back home. The manager Jay made it so difficult to simply request a change & didnt seem to care about this major hurricane causing so many delays. All the hotels want is more money, like they dont have plenty coming in every day

    Not the top of my list. They really don’t have a gym, machines are broken, or don’t have plugs, weight rack is empty, so don’t bother trying. Room/sheets dont seem clean. Water temperature fluctuates between cold and warm, which made showering very quick. Best thing about the place was that they had plenty of parking.

    We have stayed here many times. The staff is super friendly and the location is great. You can walk to many restaurants and bars. We just always have issues with our room‘s AC and hot water. The beds are comfy and the rooms are big but we really just want cold quiet AC and a shower with consistent hot water. We do t spend much time at the hotel because we are visiting our college kids.

    Checked I got our key was apparently interrupting the guys dinner. Went to put stuff in room walk way was pitch black, found our room walked in and it was hot as heck in there. Went to try and adjust the thermostat and picked up the remote, which was held together by cardboard, not able to turn on and as soon as I picked it the batteries fell out. The comforter had stains all over it then the sheets apparently were clean but had marker stains all over them. The pillows were stained and musty so all linens went to the floor. We had brought our own sheets and pillows with us thank goodness. Brought the remote to the guy at the counter and he went through 5 different sets of batteries and couldn’t get the remote to work and told me he had to find a remote. Went back to the room get ready to take a shower and there was no hot water! So after a long day at the hospital with testing got to take a cold shower. the water dripped all night long because it wouldn’t turn off all the way. Slept with one eye open and went to check out this am only by virtual and was told they couldn’t give my deposit back until after 7am. I pitched a little fit and they did refund my deposit after much discussion. For the amount we were charged $100.00 it was definitely like a $50 a night room. Don’t recommend a night there again and there was no one to talk to about getting another room or refund.

    The room was not even average at best less than mediocre first off when I arrived the room key didn’t work and when I got into the room the door fell off the top swinging hinge there was no thermostat on the wall the sheets were not changed had burn holes in them from previous customers and the shower does not work properly even though the rate of the room was cheaper than most it should be clean and in working order I’m not asking for a Hyatt stay but I would at least like clean sheets and a hot shower

    The worst hotel! I waste my money but I didn’t stay there, ended up finding another hotel. The hotel was dirty, I felt scared since I was by myself and there was a group of men outside of the front entrance, it seems like it was drug dealing going on there.     Becoming my regular stay when I visit Busch Garden. Walking distance to food, retail, and the park itself. Friendly staff not sure of young lady at front that has checked me in on each visit but she takes great care of us. Pet friendly and quiet hotel. All I say is if you looking for affordability and convenience then check them out!!

    Good enough to survive one night stay for a cruise departure the following day, keep in mind we landed at 11pm and didn’t get to hotel till midnight to sleep and rest.     I'm a season traveler have stayed in hotels in 43 different countries. Have used Expedia for most of my travels. I asked my son to please book a hotel in Tampa near the VA hospital as I was busy. Upon arrival the front desk clerk was cordial, after check in I went to the room. One of the worst rooms I have ever witnessed, went to wash my hands there was no soap or any other supplies. Went to the front desk to get supplies, when I returned to the room the pass card would not work, back to the desk. When I tried to adjust the thermostat there was no cover or dial. After visiting a friend at the hospital I learned he was terminal and was being taken home. There was no need to stay another night. I met with the night desk clerk and advised I would not need the room the following day and I would be checking out in the morning so they could change my stay. She said it would be taken care of. Checked out and asked if it was taken care of and they said yes. Waiting several days to see my refund and never changed. I called the hotel and asked for the manager to contact me never received a call on the third day I called again and he answered. He stated we are not refunding you any money you paid in advance and we are not cancelling the second night. Paid almost $200.00 for a horrible room for one night in a run down old hotel. Hoping to have a response from Hotel.com or Expedia, do yourself a favor stay away from this property if no response will choose a different booking company
