- 3/5
The staff at Residence Inn is amazing. Despite, having to deal with unappealing and unsanitary hotel rooms. The hotel is older and in a downtown area, it is understandable to not be in prime condition, HOWEVER, the ROACH problem on the 5th floor was something I had not experienced ever in a hotel in the United States. We turned on the lights in the kitchen, roaches running; turned on the lights in the bathrooms, roaches running. The last straw was me laying in bed and seeing roaches on the bedroom wall just moving about. THANKFULLY, the
- 5/5
Watch parking across the street in the tiered parking ... remove your bike seats ours was stolen . But the hotel was exactly what we needed and the location was fantastic!!! We'll be back great outdoors space and breakfast was lively
- 5/5
Clean room , nice breakfast, comfortable.
- 4/5
Toilet was way to short
- 2/5
This hotel is undergoing renovations (25+ yrs old) and it was not indicated anywhere on the Expedia site when booking. The staff was good but the rooms were not. We had to change rooms when we walked into the first room. Stained carpet, broken glass lamp over the bed was the first The new room was stilled stained. We were informed that renovations were still goin on. Expedia should make note of this before booking!!
- 4/5
We had a problem with hot water. Staff was helpful.
- 3/5
the hotel needs an upgrade and is getting one. However they did not tell that until we arrived. The large double room was really bad so they gave us two individual rooms which were much better but I was disappointed to be separated. The staff was nice and helpful. Great breakfast buffet and Ruby was a great staff at the breakfast. The pool is nice and well maintained. The gym is small and was missing weights and the downstairs bathrooms did not have soap. The staff was very nice but the hotel is smart to be remodeling because the rooms are in need!!!! Check before you book. wait until after the renovations. Great location to the Starz theater
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Good location. Room was clean but old and starting to look worn.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great location and wonderful staff!
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and polite
- 5/5
Clean room and staff was great!
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious and clean, no issue there. The pool was inviting. On our last day (Monday) they starting packing breakfast about 30 min before the said time… so that’s was a bit disappointing. Maybe it’s shorter during weekdays? Overall, good option and worked for us
- 5/5
Great customer service and good amenities
- 2/5
The sofa and sofa bed mattress were worn and stained. the mattress was in terrible condition.
- 2/5
Rooms were in unexpected conditions. The bathroom was horrible. Could barely open the water. The facets were covered in mildew and were dripping. The bathtub was stained with I don’t know what. Having two kids under the age of 4 cleanliness is priority and I would’ve booked elsewhere had I known. The light cover over the bed was broken. Not Marriott standards.
- 2/5
Room was old with black stains on the ceiling, the toilet seat was old and worn, it needed serious work. The vent in the shower was covered in dust. Just gross!!
- 3/5
our room was a bit dirty, food from previous tenant was in the fridge, there was a loss of water and our toilet became very dirty, i went to desk asking for it to be cleaned and receive attitude, it was never cleaned.
- 5/5
Very nice property, good location.
- 5/5
Great customer service!!
- 2/5
The hotel itself was fantastic. The problem we had was the noise. All night loud cars, motorcycles, sirens, and not to mention the music blasting from these cars as they cruised up and down the street all night. Great place to stay if you don't want to sleep.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good but the room we got was on the end of the hotel that looks over a popular club nearby which made it very loud
- 5/5
One of the best property I’ve been on
- 5/5
Great Location. Very Close to the Riverwalk so can walk or even bike there if you want to. A lot of Premier League Fans were there for the Fan Fest Weekend including myself.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Breakfast was solid and the little basketball court onsite was a nice touch. Great location for walking around too.
- 1/5
Their was roaches everywhere
- 4/5
I like the breakfast buffet. I didn’t like that the shower would not turn off; it just kept dripping.
- 2/5
Extremely inconvenient parking. Less than friendly front desk. AC not working in room. Serving ware in galley not clean. I would never stay again and certainly wouldn’t recommend either. Poor experience all around.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing. Breakfast was great. The only thing that I could say is the refrigerator in the room was either broken or something what’s going on with it because it made a lot of noise which was hard to sleep.
- 2/5
Room was extremely small, even though we paid for a suite. Could barely walk in the bedroom for lack of room to move around. Fire pit didn’t work. No valet parking like listed. It was clean for the most part, and morning shift was nice. Night shift guy at the front desk was awful to deal with. Got mad when we wanted to pay with cash for our drinks because it “takes longer.” Overall, we definitely will not be back.
- 3/5
Not many things to complain about but the door to the room was really loud and wouldn’t shut completely without some assistance.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, great location
- 4/5
The room was clean and very nice size. The front desk employees very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Nice variety of food.
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, great location and amenities. Would gladly stay here again
- 5/5
They have everything you need for a great stay.

- 2.5/5
The rooms were old and felt dirty. The shower wouldn’t drain and it felt disgusting standing in water while showering
- 3/5
Breakfast was fresh and great

Less Traffic congestion..........
- 4/5
The pool was enjoyable. The location was fantastic for art and culture of Tampa. The room overall was comfortable.
- 5/5
Great location & facilities. Super helpful staff
- 1.5/5
The location is great for Busch Gardens and USF The whole hotel was really worn and dirty.
- 4/5
Breakfast was ok. The only gluten free option was a bagel. Not even Cheerios.
- 4/5
I thought it was closer to something. But it was a good stay.
- 5/5
Clean. Good breakfast. Spacious suite
- 3/5
Hotel was fine, but the street noise was terrible!! didn’t know it was on such a busy party road….
- 4/5
Not a 5 star but worth it for the location and excellent breakfast
- 3/5
Hotel needs updated. Rust in one of the bathtubs.
- 4/5
We did arrive right at 4pm, and thought it was strange that the desk did not have someone there (because it was check in time). Our only other area of improvement was our room’s cleanliness. The sheets and bathroom were fine, but the trash in the kitchenette was full of the previous guests beverage containers and trash. Additionally, there was a lot of dirt and debris in that space that looks like was just continually swept under the fridge.
- 5/5
I wished I could take a proper bath in the bathroom.
- 3/5
The rooms need major updates. The bathrooms were not very clean, the tub was old.
- 5/5
Spacious rooms with everything you need
- 3/5
This is a very nice hotel and it’s in a good location. The only problem we had was that our room was not ready at check in. We had to wait well past 4pm to get in our room. This room was $400 per night so we were expecting more from this hotel but it’s just average.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean property
- 2/5
Needs extensive refurbishement. Poor breakfast selection with limited seating and narrow time. Staff was good.
- 3.5/5
Great Sitting area around the pool was small
- 4/5
Decent hotel. Very convenient location. Pool is nice but cold. Good breakfast.
- 2/5
Overall, the hotel was okay but our room was located on a Main Street and the traffic was so loud we couldn’t sleep.
- 5/5
Excelent.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room
- 4/5
Staff is very friendly and services are good. Breakfast has variety of things. Kitchen has basic utensils, some are worn out, but can perform basic cooking. When window faces street, the night is not quiet. Some drivers like to make sudden and loud noise by accelerating the car engines on the street, making sleep difficult. This is not hotel issue. The city should prohibit such activities.
- 1/5
The room was very filthy.
- 2.5/5
The breakfast was a typical chain hotel buffet. Not great, but not horrible. The room was spacious but very worn and only moderately clean. The outdoor space pictured in the photos was almost unrecognizable due to it being so worn down but it did have plenty of seating outside. There was a basketball court which is nice for kids but also noisy. Very worn down and appeared only somewhat clean. My room reeked of men’s cologne when I arrived and the smell stayed even through the 4 day I was there. The bed was lumpy and the shower/bath area needed maintenances. Shower walls were cracked and the faucet was loose. The price per night was outrageous compared to the condition of the property. The staff was friendly but not at all knowledgeable - I asked where a guest might park (other than the hotels $25 per day overnight service) and she had “no idea”. The location is good but also a bit dangerous - I witnessed a fight a block away from the hotel the first afternoon I was there that resulted in a man being body slammed to the ground bleeding from the head. I had to call an ambulance. I would opt to stay there again.
- 4/5
room was very clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the road noise. That’s just how it is on a downtown Tampa hotel.
- 4/5
The proximity to airport & our convention venue along the River Walk. The very spacious room and abundant breakfast that included lots of variety and most importantly fresh fruit. That I occasionally heard a dog barking in an adjacent room. The peeling paint on the room door & broken bedside lamp that made the light in the room very harsh was not esthetically appealing. Didn’t appreciate seeing an unexpected misc charge on my bill that I had to call in to remove. There was no explanation for the charge and it was readily removed. Had I not opened my electronic bill right away I suspect the unexpected charge might have gone through.
- 3/5
The hotel was great, the morning breakfast is excellent. We got a room that the heat stopped at 70 degrees. It was very noisy with loud cars hot rodding until 3:00 AM. That might be because of an event down the street and it was a rare time. Other than that, I though it was a great place. Lots of eateries within a couple blocks during the day and evening.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. The couch in our room was missing back cushions and sagged terribly in the middle. The included breakfast was on par.
- 4/5
It was as expected
- 5/5
The breakfast.
- 5/5
Staff was great.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. It has all you need. It was convenient to downtown attractions.
- 4/5
The shower would not stop leaking
- 2/5
There were bugs that came out at night
- 5/5
Room clean & bed comfortable
- 2/5
No safe and noise was unbearable each night, will not be back!!!!
- 5/5
Katina, at check in was great! Made me feel right at home. Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast could use more tables and chairs on a Saturday morning, we had to eat in our room.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Great location!!!
- 3/5
Room was dirty, outdated. Breakfast was ok, but a nice touch. Very loud street noise at night. Will seek alternative hotels when we return
- 5/5
The room was great and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. The only tiny negative was there was a lot of street noise at night, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Would definitely stay there again
- 3/5
Great room, decent breakfast, area surrounding a little bad at night, close to river walk area which is nice
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, lobby was clean and welcoming. Rooms were well appointed. Took my Grandkids to Straz for a performance and everything was within walking distance.
- 5/5
I like the mini kitchen room ! So convenient and quiet! Nice to stay ! Will come back in the future!
- 4/5
Unfortunately, our bathtub is very dirty. it looked like the bath has not been cleaned for several months. I stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott at a different location before. It was very nice and clean. I don’t understand why the bathtub was so dirty.
- 4/5
Too much noise Saturday
- 5/5
Good location and staff very nice. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Nothing
- 5/5
The amenities were great. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was hospitable.
- 3/5
The noise outside was terrible.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent
- 4/5
Location is good for cruise passengers, it is walkabe in about 25 minutes. Another tip is to take the free trolley to the closest station which is Hattricks.
- 5/5
great!
- 2/5
We had bugs in our room however the staff was friendly and moved us to a new room.
- 5/5
Overall conditions and amenities. Great breakfast and location. Staff are also awesome.
- 3/5
Needed a remodeling room falling a part.too much noise from street.
- 2/5
I tried to give it a chance. I had to kill roaches when I first checked into my room, the door malfunctioned, and my bathtub wouldn’t turn on. I was switched rooms and still had issues. Maybe the location makes it worth it even though there doesn’t seem to be anything particularly close. So far this experience is not worth the price of stay
- 4/5
The staff was amazing. A staff member got my cough drops and dropped them off to my room when I asked if they sold them. They did not, and I did not expect anyone to get them for me. That kindness is rare. The front desk was so nice and we chatted everyday. I gave 4 stars because our room was moist. I don't know how else to describe it. I think the AC needs to be assessed. The hotel guests were super aggressive about breakfast, not the hotels fault.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good
- 3/5
Staff was nice. Bathroom needed updating.
- 4/5
Clean and spacious room. Great location. Free breakfast was fantastic!
- 5/5
Sade was the best front desk attendant. She was helpful and had a beautiful spirit. The rest of the staff was equally attentive and friendly. This location is close to the Riverwalk and a good location. We recommend this property.
- 2/5
They ran out of food at 830. Blamed the holiday, which was four days ago. Had no coffee. We didn't get what we paid for.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
Ok hotel with reasonable breakfast. Parking was expensive. Walkable distance to the River walk, but overall Tampa city was not worth visiting.
- 1/5
The Room smells very bad , the shower have very bad cleaning..
- 5/5
Amazing!
- 5/5
Absolutely perfect all around.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
The front desk staff were super friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Great place to stay within walking distance of all downtown activities. Parking was less expensive than most hotels.
- 1/5
The room was dirty. We found 2 pills on the floor under the bed and under the couch. I found a cockroach on the counter the first night. We only got room service twice of out the 6 days. On the last day, in the middle of my 1 year old son's nap, they started doing extremely loud construction on the room next door without any sort of warning or notification.
- 5/5
My stay at Residence Inn was very peaceful and delightful. Everyone who worked there during my stay was very pleasant and very professional. I had no complaints with the room other than after so many years of wear and tear, there should be some remodeling that is considered to keep the maintenance of the hotel in tip top shape. Other than that, it was pleasant. Katrina was the 1st employee that I had an encounter with and she was amazing. I loved her energy, her professionalism and her customer service. She greeted us with a smile and accomodated any issues we had.
- 4/5
Very clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. It's near and walking distance to restaurants and the Starz Center and Glazer Museum.
- 4/5
Yes
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good.
- 4.5/5
Bed was kind of small and uncomfortable
- 5/5
The front desk was so very nice. Breakfast was excellent with so many healthy optiona
- 5/5
Great stay ! Convenient to attractions and didn't break the bank !!
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
We booked a room with double beds. Your company didn’t send the information to the hotel!I was forced to sleep(couldn’t sleep) on a pull out sofa with a metal rod in my back. The microwave didn’t work. The bathroom faucet dripped the whole night. Some of the electric plugs in the room did not work..
- 4/5
Staff
- 4/5
Staff was great, nice room, no issues.
- 2/5
Needs an upgrade for sure! The common areas were pretty nice, the staff was really great/nice. Breakfast was decent, but they didn't have much or running out quickly not restocking items as they were gone.
- 5/5
Katina was phenomenal and so personable
- 5/5
Nice, Good location, Easy access to Interstate
- 5/5
The front desk ladies were so friendly and helpful and fun!!
- 5/5
Amazing staff. Had a smooth stay.
- 4/5
What sux is the parking. It's across the street. Thank GOD for good weather
- 3/5
Bathroom was outdated, toilet would not flush , hot water was not flowing, bathroom floor cracks , blanket had spots on it , microwave was off, AC unit was too loud , traffic noise was all night long
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious room, good value.
- 5/5
Nice overall
- 4/5
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. We chose this hotel bc it was close to the riverwalk however it was more of a green space and not anything compared to the Chicago or San Antonio river walk so that part was a little disappointing.
- 5/5
Great value option with huge rooms. Pool and some amazingly friendly staff.
- 4/5
First let me say, the staff was very friendly and professional-easy check in and out. And the location is great for downtown TAMPA. The rooms, or at least the one I had was very dated, worn and felt "not clean." I think this was a function of the age of the carpet, bathroom fixtures, mattress and pillows etc-- just needs some new items.
- 4/5
The staff at this hotel is the best. I’ve never met a nicer group of staff. They always greet you with a hello and smile, and aim to make your stay a great experience.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Pleasant common areas and pool. Good air conditioning.
- 5/5
Good hotel to stay in Tampa downtown
- 5/5
The staff was helping and super friendly
- 5/5
The hotel was only a few minute walk down to the riverfront walk and cost around £15 for an Uber from the airport.
- 3/5
The room was overall fine except for the sofa bed being far worse than any I’ve slept on in decades. Main bed was very nice so one of the two of us was able to sleep. Morning breakfast was enhanced by the wonderful lady working the food. Always polite and always asking what more she could do to help you out. Front desk was also very courteous. One other knock is that I got charged for using Wi-Fi both days, even though I am a lifetime platinum elite member and haven’t paid for Wi-Fi at a Marriott in over 15 years. The question is whether I want to waste my time to get back $12 and they answer to that is no. Not happy about it though!
- 3/5
The room is rather beat up in terms of old furnishings and vanged up walls. Doirs dirty around handles, etc. I stayed 3 nights and housekeeping never came
- 5/5
The hotel is clean, friendly staff, very good free breakfast. The suite had all the necessary amenities. Location is great for exploring Tampa downtown and 3vents in Convention Center
- 4/5
Room is very nice, but street noise was fairly loud. This is in downtown, so some was expected, but we were close to a highway entrance. When the light turned yellow it became a raceway.
- 4/5
The room was nice and the staff was extremely friendly. Plenty of room for a family of 4 and convenient to the Wharf/Cruise terminal.
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and extremely friendly.
- 4/5
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Checkin was a breeze. The room was perfect except the noise from the air conditioning unit was incredibly LOUD! Did not have a good sleep because of the noise.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and the supply of kitchen utensils was very nice!
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk was top-notch.
- 3/5
The staff was great rooms were good breakfast below par
- 5/5
Great stay, friendly staff and central location made for a great stay.
- 4/5
Front Desk Rick was awesome…
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable except the fleas.
- 5/5
Great room, great breakfast choices.
- 1/5
I wasn’t even able to check in they didn’t let me check in at all
- 2/5
The elevator security key card did not work, allowing anyone to take the elevator up without a key card. The room had small roaches as well. Overall the hotel needs to be updated and redone. Too many makeshift fixes to things. The Courtyard Marriott across the shared courtyard was well kept and up to date.
- 4/5
The street is extremely loud sounded like drag racing during the night and woke me up several times. Also couldn’t get the heat to work. When I switched from AC to heat it kept blowing cold if not colder. Not a big deal in Tampa I suppose but it was a little chilly….
- 4/5
Room was clean. Sofa bed was really not comfortable.
- 3/5
Our large family stayed in multiple rooms and all of the rooms had an unpleasant odor. It smelled musty or damp. The showers also need a redo as they looked really dirty but were probably just stained. One room still had trash and dirty towels from the previous guest. We did appreciate the large rooms, the free breakfast, and the pool and basketball court. The staff were very nice.
- 3/5
The staff was awesome, they were dealing with a Marriot outage, could not make keys, could not take credit cards. I ended up using cash for the food items at the little kiosk that I cant get reimbursed for since they couldn't print a receipt. but it was only $25.00 so not that big of a deal. Did enjoy the basket ball court though, didn't expect that.
- 4/5
Close to University of Tampa
- 5/5
Katina at the front desk is super! So friendly and great personality. Breakfast was good, plenty of options and everything hot that was supposed to be. Rooms clean. Within walking distance of restaurants and the concert that we were in town for. Only minor downside is the pool. It’s between 2 buildings so sun doesn’t hit it til like 2pm. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Great property and location
- 4/5
Staff were excellent! Very kind and attentive! They are the reason I will come back. The rooms need to be updated. Parking was very easy and convenient.
- 3/5
Very Limited options for food and drink at the hotel
- 5/5
Luxury hotel that feels like home! I could not agree more. Great hotel!
- 5/5
Clean room. Great staff. Centrally located
- 5/5
Hotel was perfect for University of Tampa parents weekend.
- 4/5
Room could have been cleaner, had to have my sheets changed due to killing a bug on it. tub was not cleaned and toilet had to be fixed by maintenance. Tv did not work in one of the bedrooms and maintenance never came after front desk said would send someone
- 2/5
We woke up and found a large dried blood stain on the comforter after we slept in it. It was disgusting and honestly, dangerous as blood borne pathogens can last weeks.
- 5/5
The room was comfortable.
- 1/5
It was ok. Roaches in our bathroom and kitchenette.
- 5/5
I was able to check in early which was so amazing! I was only in town for a night so that was super helpful. Thank you.
- 4/5
The property was in a good location and the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable but the guest rooms were very dated
- 3/5
Property was clean and staff
- 3/5
This hotel doesn’t supply enough towels. Only one face towel. One bath towel and two drying towels for two. No room service until the 4th day. When called for additional towels room service only brought one face towel. How do they expect one to use the small face towel to wash face and butt for four days.
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
Room carpet needs to be updated along with bath tub
- 4/5
I did have an issue with the a/c in my room, after two days the room didn’t cool off according to my temperature setting.
- 3/5
Rooms need to be cleaned better and upgraded
- 5/5
Very nice staff
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
The room was in great condition. No paint peeling in the room. Well kept
- 5/5
The room was comfortable but noisy. Air conditioner was very loud and road traffic was high.
- 4/5
Not enough bar soap for shower and sink.
- 4/5
Daylyn at the fro t desk was fun and effigy!
- 3/5
You can hear lots of honking, ambulance and police sirens passing by. The downtown is just a block over and has a lot of shifty appearing nightclubs. Always lines outside the clubs, so they're probably decent, but very loud, expensive and seemingly pretentious based on their webpages. Homeless creep around area but not in front of the hotel.
- 5/5
I stayed for 5 night and everything was a wonderful experience. The staff were so nice and accommodating and even helped with providing a stamp so I can send a post card. The room had everything I needed and enough towels. Every morning, I had breakfast that was available and it was so good. It was so worth it. If there’s another event in Tampa, I’m definitely gonna stop there again.
- 5/5
Quick over night stay before boarding ship - location great
- 5/5
Overall a good stay but I wish the main area had a trash can as well as the bathroom!
- 5/5
Grea
- 5/5
The front desk staff had great customer service. They were friendly, efficient, and made sure our stay was excellent.
- 4/5
Property need update
- 5/5
One shortcomings: No drinking water in the room and no tissue box
- 4/5
A good stay staff was cool
- 1/5
The staff and the pool are the only two good things that I can say. The room we had was so dirty
- 5/5
Very nice staff. Rooms are big and clean.
- 4/5
A very nice and convenient hotel, the staff are friendly, attentive and helpful.
- 4/5
Great location, but loud street noise and loud AC, which blew in our faces all night long. Breakfast was disappointing. They ran out of oatmeal everyday. Really?!! Buy another pot and cook double- oatmeal is one of the cheapest things they could serve and they can’t make enough for their customers?!
- 5/5
Very nice clean and comfortable. I’d stay there again.
- 3/5
The cons: our room was ok. However, we found a dead bug on the pillow. After we removed that pillow enjoyed the bed
- 5/5
Great customer service. Front desk was amazing. No complaints at all.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 3/5
Location
- 2/5
There was no room service for the 3 night of our stay. They would just bring clean towels. When I asked for extra comforter since it was cold in the room and the AC could not be adjusted, I was told they don’t have any. The supposed to be white bathtub was all chipped and yellow. If you have a car and it to be parked they only have spots on level 3 of the parking lot across the street. If you come after 6pm spots are non existent which means you have to park across the street in the municipal parking which would cost arm 25 dollars per night. Overall not a great experience.
- 4/5
The couch was ripped and the room has a funky smell. Bathtub old and marks from wear and tear. The rooms could use some upgrades. Remove the carpets.
- 5/5
Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast had variety and quality. Would come back if I decide to come back on vacation to Tampa.
- 3/5
The staff was amazing at the check in desk… Katina customer service was top notch… The rooms were outdated The hotel would be very nice if it was renovated with updated furniture and appliances .. Other than that the bed was comfortable and room was clean.. So busy with family stuff had no time to check out the amenities.. So I can’t rate then..
- 3/5
Great location. Can walk to anything you might need. Affordable parking in garage across street. Good breakfast included. Room had no amenities. One bar soap only. Cleanliness was ok. Not bad but could be better for sure. No ironing board but has iron. No sheets for pull out bed. Pull out bed very uncomfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Could use a little tlc in the room maintenance and cleaning. Would stay again but will look elsewhere first.

Good Costmer service and big room I like it.

Excellent stay, welcoming staff. Efficient check in with a room ready prior to official check in time.

The bed was uncomfortable. The couch was broken. Bathroom was yellow cause of stains and out dated. They never came and cleaned the room we had to ask. They ran out of towels. The ac vent was hitting the bed and your face when sleeping. You could not change direction of vent. Had to shove a towel in there. I tried to iron my clothes and there was rust and water in there. It came out and ruined my white linen pants. I told the hotel and they said. I can give you another iron.... nothing about my destroyed pants. Breakfast was microwaved bacon. Some of the staff was super nice and had good energy.

I loved the location, it's walkable to different restaurants and the Riverwalk. It is also very convenient if you are attending an event at Amalie Arena. The staff were polite and friendly. I think the breakfast could improve a little because if it is a long stay it gets repetitive and sometimes it is not replenished frequently. The cleaning could also improve because I was expecting they would make the bed when cleaning the room but that did not happened, although they did take the trash out. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals.

This was one of the best hotel experiences my husband and I have ever had! I booked our hotel for the night of our wedding (we were traveling from NC) until our cruise left on Monday. My idea was to have the room ready as soon as we landed early AM so we could get some rest. Our flight was cancelled and rebooked and we ended up missing check in time. I was sleep deprived, frustrated with the airline, and didn’t even think to call the hotel to let them know we were running late. Our reservation ended up being cancelled, but JOSHUA saved the day! He listened to our situation and quickly gathered staff to clean a room for us. It took a little over an hour and I fell asleep in the lobby but we appreciated the sense of urgency! The room was so clean and felt luxurious. We got sooooo much rest and left for our cruise the next day. Upon coming back from our cruise we booked the same hotel and arrived much earlier than check in. JOSHUA once again accommodated us (bc rooms were available early on a Sunday… don’t expect this from reading this review.) We got plenty of rest the entire day and headed back to NC this morning. I wanted to be sure to highlight Joshua’s customer service! He was so helpful and we (exhausted newlyweds) appreciate his efforts to always make sure we were comfortable! Thank you Joshua, and God bless you!

Staff were amazing and attentive! Breakfast was great and enough amenities for a short stay. Would definitely return.

We extended our stay due to the location, amenities and convenience of the property. Josh gave excellent service, very efficient. Friendly front desk staff. Sufficient breakfast to start our day.

Staff was amazing! Especially Ruby, the cook and other young lady in dining hall, and front desk. Pool was nice but closes at 9p. Has a basket court and a cute court yard. Has a full kitchen and I enjoyed the balcony and the breakfast best

- 4/5
All the staff were very nice and polite. They went beyond their duties to make you feel comfortable and make anything that’s not right right. The morning buffet is always hot and fresh and the cleaning staff always cleaned up never seen garbage outside of anybody’s doors. I had a little problem in my room and they fixed it right away
- 3/5
The staff were helpful and nice but the property its self is very lack luster, and seems as though not well maintained. The pool very small with very sitting area about 4 pool chairs, no bar area until after 5 pm. Great location but hotel in general give it 2 stars.
- 5/5
Parking was full when I had arrived which was slightly inconvenient but there was a lot very close by.
- 2/5
Staff was execllent. The AC is awful, the room stinks like musty mold and the hotel is just plain outdated. Being a marriot, i expected more. The bed is comfy, but the pullout couch, even my 3 year old wouldnt sleep on. Supposed to sleep 4, there was only blankets and set ups for the bed, not for the pull out. Had to go get more. Just poorly planned. Disapointed with the marriot name attached to this stay.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was very nice. The area is trashy and smells bad. There was very little hot water and water pressure washer very weak. The fire alarm was faulty and abruptly woke us all up at 2:20am and we had to go outside in our sleeping clothes and stand there until the fire department arrived. The breakfast was disgusting and there was not much to choose from. Very, very disappointed.

Had a wonderful and comfortable stay although the property is a bit aged. The studio was very convenient with all the utensils and amenities in the unit. Wish the water in the lobby was 24 hrs. There were none in the morning during breakfast when coffee was available, and in the evening too, the dispenser was gone. Nevertheless, I would still consider going back here next time I go to Tampa.

This property was not well maintained and was dirty in the rooms. The common areas were acceptable but our room was very old and smelled like mildew. The carpet was shredded near the bathroom entry. The tub had rusty chips and stains. The bathtub bottom was stained dark brown. There were stains on the pillows and blankets.

There was a very loud sports car driving up and down the street until 3am both nights. Not the hotels fault. Otherwise it was great. Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast!

There the day before a cruise. Everything was great no issues.

The hotel was fantastic. Loved the two room suite. My only issue was because it was downtown Tampa parking was limited. I drive a large truck and had to park on the street.

I worked on the road and stayed in hotels for over 34 years. Many hotels are good and staff is friendly, but I experienced something at your location I had never seen. I asked the front desk lady about a place to eat, she walked me out front and pointed and explained options, then walked me out the rear door and over through the backside hotel to their front entrance and pointed to street vendors and eateries over on that side. She truly went above and beyond. Many may tell you some places or give directions, but actually walking out and showing me my options was definitely not the easy, lazy service that most would afford their guests. She knocked it out the park!
- 4/5
For the most part the hotel was clean and safe. Leaky bath tub faucet and dirty coffee maker but the rest was good. The riverwalk was convenient but not many restaurants than I anticipated
- 3/5
Pros: The location is definitely the highlight. It's super convenient—within walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The Hub was my personal favorite! It’s also close to the Riverwalk and has easy access to the freeway, which made getting around town really simple. Cons: Unfortunately, the rest of the stay didn’t go as smoothly. Parking was a nightmare—there were barely any available spaces, and to make matters worse, my car was towed for no reason. Dealing with that was a major headache. On top of that, there was no hot water during my stay, and the air conditioning barely worked, which made the room super uncomfortable. Overall, while the location was great, the basic comforts and amenities really missed the mark. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless those issues were addressed.

Great place and location. Enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was good as well.

Everything was great but if you arrive in the middle of the night give them a heads up because it took 20 mins for someone to answer the bell

The property was great , the area was ok !! But the staff was extremely great !! Tina Louise was the absolute sweetest !! I explained to her the experience I had with a Residence Inn in Orlando Seaworld , and she was very helpful and sweet . Our bathroom could have been cleaner , the sink area had blood on the wall , and the door frame was dirty needed to be wiped down . Our fireplace was broken in need of repair ( we didn’t need to use it but the looks of it would have been nice to have it repaired . But over all we like the place ..we’d stay again just a different room ..

I didn’t end up staying here. I booked a balcony room and when we arrived we were told they didn’t have any. They stated I would not be partially refunded for what I paid even though the balcony suite was more money than a standard, nor would I receive anything for the inconvenience, so I had the front desk cancel my reservation and I booked a stay elsewhere.
